Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, Central Park: what do users think?
kelly Lawrence: Great customer service. It's a bit far off the city center. Using the Sheraton grand hotel will have you in the middle of the city with less taxi usage. But Great place overallRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/4 …More
Peter Peralta: Received a complimentary upgrade which was very nice. The room was brilliant, has all the amenities you would expect from a new hotel. Bathroom was massive. Only downside was I couldn’t get the room warm with the heater set to max.
Kelly G: If I could give this hotel 0/5 stars I would.Checked in to our room which was not the room I had booked online.Hotel admitted it was their fault and that they would “upgrade” us.Disgusted to enter our said upgraded room and there was dirty washing on the chair, room smelt rotten and the only “sorry” we received was a complimentary breakfast and a free drink.Additionally, clearly the COVID-19 protocols are WHS standards and overlooked at this property.I waited almost an hour for the hotel to find me a sufficient alternative so we could actually get ready for our event.I booked a KING SUITE as there was 3 of us staying, it was open plan and suited the occasion. When asked if the sofa bed would be made up before our return from our event to accomodate the 3 of us, I was met with “sorry our housekeepers are really busy, would it be ok if we just left the linen there and you did it?”……you’re kidding right? Can’t be too busy if they are unable to service a room correctly to begin with.If you like a sad breakfast with minimal variety, substandard options and stagnant customer service, then by all means you will be in for an absolute treat. Staff member on breakfast concierge was also on her phone between seating people which was completely unprofessional.I was very specific when booking that this was for my sister’s birthday and to be met with sour customer service and a dirty room amongst other disappointment, I would absolutely NOT recommend! As per the current Marriott promotion and marketing, “delight in the unexpected”….NO DELIGHT here at all.
F. R. (Effective Problem Solving): Very nice hotel, location. Rooms very comfortable and quite. Convenient. Take trance from airport to central station, then 10 min walk to hotel. Food in general pricy in this part of the world.
Jodie Rees: Comfortable beds, clean rooms, good service
Al F: Clean, modern and good value for money...Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/4 …More
YW Kang: Can't complain anything, nice!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
T Rush: Very affordable and right across the street from the University of Technology Sydney. They offer a breakfast buffet and dinner options. There's a bar/coffee area, but it's not open every day. It was very quiet with lots of eateries around it, including an entertainment center, grocery store, movie theater, Starbucks, and shopping stores. We had a corner room on a high floor.
James Gray: Comfortable and clean
Sylvia Shim: Many restaurants and good roomRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Faizal Othman: Tick the boxes meeting four points standards. Will be back.
Mr Linh's Adventures: Good hotel, good location, good services! Breakfast view to street!

Little National Hotel Sydney: what do users think?
Calcapone: Affordable luxury.Just checked out 30 minutes ago, everything was awesome, easy coming directly from the airport ✈️ under cover all the way till you get to Clarence st then 4 to 5 steps then you’re done. All the staff were friendly and accommodating.I guess my only negative was the doors to the rooms need to have a cushion seal to stop the neighbors from banging their doors.Otherwise excellent hotel will definitely be coming back.Thank you to all of the staff.I didn’t want to leave the bed.
Jungo: Awesome location, funky little rooms and one of the best cocktails I've had on the rooftop bar.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Hannah Greer: Wonderful gem of a hotel. Very clean and a great location to explore the city by foot. The full Nespresso bar was a pleasant surprise! We booked the "big" room which I would highly recommend if you're traveling as a couple.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value, High-tech …More
James Maclean: Nice placeRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
John Missingham: Nice little hotel in the City, perfectly located on Wynyard station. Rooms are a little small, but everything in the city is in walking distance or accessible by rail, so you won't spend a lot of time in your room.Clean and tidy, staff are very accommodating, certainly worth a stay.Rooms: 5/4|Service: 5/4|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Daniel D.: Mattresses are way too soft and cannot be changed. Few nights of miserable sleep and back pain. Apart from that nice service and nice gym.Rooms: 5/3|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Chris Gainford: Love, love, loved it.Brilliant friendly staff who were always smiling and always thinking to make your stay enjoyable. The room was high tech and very easy to use- even for me!Rooms: Excellent air conditioning and the bathroom was high quality finishes.Nearby activities: Darling Harbor minutes away and the best shopping 8 minutes walk away.Safety: Never felt unsafe walking anywhere near the hotel. There were some homeless people sleeping rough in the train station but were friendly enough and never bothered us. The key card for your room operates the elevator to only your floor or the roof top bar which made you feel safe because no one could get to your level unless they were on it also. Great little idea from them.Walkability: Right on top of Wynyard station and 6 minutes walk to Darling HarborFood & drinks: Excellent roof top bar with two fantastic bar tenders. Excellent selections on drinks and cocktails. No food on site but easy to order and front of house bring it to your room.
Douglas Philpot: I am very picky about where I stay, particularly in regards to bedding and location. I want to be close to everything worth seeing, and, when I’m back in the room, I want to enjoy a good night’s rest (something increasingly hard to find as I age lol). Little National Hotel in Sydney, among the highest rated hotels in the area, exceeded my expectations. The bed, the sheets, and the pillows could not be better, particularly important after arriving with no sleep in almost 2 days. I could not recommend it more, especially with its equally surprising affordable rates. I would’ve paid much more for this room.
G H: Extremely recommended this hotel especially if you travel alone.Great location, the train is just downstair, which is convenient for airport and several main locations.Nice and clean room with hospitality staff.Roof top provides reading area, bar, coffee machine, and spectacular night view. However, the room is not soundproof, the shower sound is quite loud if next door guest taking shower.
Brent Sims: My Wife and I have stayed at Little National Hotel Sydney previously on a number of occasions and it has always been an amazing experience, up until now.. we recently booked another stay with some friends for my wifes upcoming birthday in a few weeks so knowing that vivid is on and we wanted to stay on a weekend we booked some time ago (months) and the room rate was $390.00.Upon checking last night, the cost of a standard room is now for $331.00 for the same night. My wife called them and questioned the amount of the room and asked could we cancel the booking (So we could re-book) or get the cheaper rate, to which the response was "NO your booking is nonrefundable" and that was it. All bookings according to their web site as of 23/05/25 are refundable with notice. This is not great Customer Service, and we are extremely disappointed with how the call was handled, it's not even about the $60.00 it was the fact that they didn't even try to make an effort and the attitude was "Bad Luck"What a great way to ruin a nice little hotel.
alicia R: Hopefully this place (felt more like a dorm than a hotel tbh) will do more training for their staff to be polite (the ones at the rooftop bar somehow practice the basics of hotelier/service industry) and do thorough cleaning of the rooms. It's not particularly cheap this accommodation so you somehow expect the minimum level of skills from all their employees.I won't recommend it as it's not a place where you can breathe, relax and have proper sleep--*if you're claustrophobic, STAY AWAY.👎the tiny space, the encased bed, the thin walls and floors + no privacy in the bathroom/toilet (can literally hear everything, even the sound noone wants to hear), dusty/ uncleaned floors & headboard, forgotten housekeeping request (when we enquired politely, no apologies whatsoever but rather, suggested that we pushed "do not disturb" button ! Seriously now🤯😶 👍 the rooftop common area
Kyri Papapetrou (cfer50): Noteworthy details: Sits above a train station entrance - Wynyard. As convenient as it getsRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/4Hotel highlights Quiet, High-tech …More
jason: love this hotel, staffs are super friendly and nice. Room is stylish with some latest movies available for free. Their gym has all the top tier gears which everyone would be amazed by it. And their bar is cozy and bartenders are nice as well.I stayed in their smaller room, which I find it great as it’s my solo trip. But for everyone going not alone, i won’t recommend you choosing the small room.
Ross Francis: Compact but comfortable; very slick service; great rooftop lounge / bar area; super convenient location
Al: Simple but lovely! The rooms are not big, but they are neat, modern, and comfortable. The rooftop bar is the real hero of this hotel - stunning! The bar food wasn't great, but the cocktails were top notch. A hidden gem - would definitely recommend.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
home simon: Excellent location perfect hôtel for business trip or week-endNice work place and rooftopGood internet
Audrey C.: Really impressed with this hotel! Great value, very modern, and unique design. Definitely stands out from the other hotels in a good way. The rooms are small but so well designed that it doesn’t feel like a small room. The check in process what on a machine, fast and easy and the staff was close if needed. They had a great rooftop where you can hang out, work, get a drink or eat your own food. Very well located, walking distance to the botanical garden, the shopping center or the opera house. And the room connected speakers to your phone is definitely a nice touch. I’ll stay here again in the future.
Dianne Williams: I loved my stay at the little national it’s lovely, the beds are really comfortable the staff are amazing and really helpful . I would love to stay again.

Jellie Ann Morales: *The staffs are so kind and helpful with your needs.Spacious room, toilet is way too small for a gigantic occupant.*It's a really good location for me as it's just walking distance to nearby activities.*Restaurant is just on the ground floor and you can also order for in-room service for your meal if you're not in the mood to go out.Nearby activities: Powerhouse Museum, Paddy's Market, City Market, Chinese GardenWalkability: Woolworths is just few meters away from the Hotel and the nearby activities.Food & drinks: On the ground floor you will find Thomas St. Kitchen Bar. You can order ala carte or buffet meal. They also cater in-room services.
Ritesh Pothan: Rooms are old and the breakfast is the worst of all Novotel’s
Ashok: Nice hotel with spacious, clean and comfortable rooms. A key aspect is the rooms are quiet and seemed to have good sound proofing - making for good sleep and privacy.Staff are very professional, enthusiastic and patient. The buffet breakfast has a good range without being ostentatious - highly recommend packaging this into your room booking. Some of the decor is becoming weary but on the whole, a good place to stay.Rooms: Spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. The views are not great but fine if you're not planning to spend much time in the room.
Stephen Jory: I'm only writing this review out of frustration as after checking out over 3 weeks ago the hotel is still holding onto a pending credit card payment. I have contacted them several times and the issue still is not resolved. Checking in was a nightmare, I've had teeth extracted that was less painful. The booking was made in my wife's name ( we still have the email confirming this) Apon arrival we were told that the booking was in a different name but the staff refused to say what name it was in. Eventually we were allowed to check in. And now still 3 weeks later and several emails we still have a pending transaction from the Novotel even though I was told the transaction was cancelled a week ago. I'm pretty sure some staff there need up skilling. Will be searching for different options for our next stay in Sydney.
Rafael N: Bit of a late review, was due back in December 2022! Just wanted to give a little shout out to Lindsay/Lindo! Told her we were celebrating graduation, and she went out of the way to give us a little celebratory note and gave us a neat treat as well when we got back to our room - really made our day!Keep it up team!
P J: Not sure why there are so many negative reviews but i did not get those same experiences. I stayed for 3 nights and right away was greeted nicely and was given early checkin. The room was clean with 4 large towels, the bed was very soft, and had coffee and tea packets. There wasn’t water bottles in the room but nearly all hotels I’ve stayed at in Sydney didn’t so I believe this is not out of the norm. The only thing that bothered me was the shower. Water would splash onto the mat. Housekeeping changed these so it wasn’t too big of a deal. The location for this hotel is perfect for getting around. It’s a 5min walk to central station and 6min walk to Haymarket and the Chinatown area which was a huge plus compared to the other hotels around the area for the price.I had a great stay and would come back.
Terry Howell: Nice hotel, clean, good services, and plenty of options for breakfast. Very close to everything, super easy accessibility and transport around, clean swimming pool.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Finola Carey: Attended a one day masterclass and was wowed by the catering and conference facilities.Walkability: Easy walk from Central train station.Food & drinks: Superb food...best event catering I have seen.

The Tank Stream Hotel: what do users think?
Josh G: Pretty small rooms, yet clean, modern new and nice.Staff are mostly friendly and helpful.Location is great, very close to lots of things to see and do. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, food courts and most of what you need.A bit far to walk to some destinations and a taxi/uber is needed depending on what you want to do or see.Unfortunately, very few amenities in the hotel. No gyms, no spas, saunas, pools etc. There is a restaurant, but limited hours.Mini bar has a few included offerings which is nice and a good perk/bonus, compared to other hotels.Room service available but rooms are not big enough to sit and enjoy a meal or do much in. They are nice however, for the size.Overall good experience.

Would highly recommend.

Ovolo 1888 Darling Harbour: what do users think?
C Johnson: Value for money, great experience and uniqueLiked · Location was great, really close to parking across the street (which is $50/24hr period, you can enter/leave as you like!) lobby/bar is super chic, comfortable and overall has a great atmosphere. Staff super friendly and helpful, receptionist 24/7 to assist with extra supplies or late check ins. Room itself was spacious for 2 people with 4 suitcases! Bathroom great size, plenty of room for cosmetics and toiletries. Heaps of bench space, toilet behind door Room included luggage rack, iron, Apple TV, mini fridge with complimentary soft drink water and tea (you can ask reception for any extras or dial 9 from your room phone) Heaps of hanging space in wardrobe, areas to sit at a desk and make calls/do some work. Really impressed with quality of room and # of electrical sockets! Handy for all of our devices for sure. Noise travels in the hallways but light does not! Room can be completely blacked out for a great night sleep! Good soft l pillows and linens too Bonus live jazz in the bar on Thursday nights and a candy bar (score!) in the lobby anytime for guests which was super great late at night Will definitely stay here again, great vibe and cute hotel with artistic features everywhere that are so much better than a plain white wall! Also appreciate full size mirror behind door for last minute fit checksDisliked · Toilet is a little low, taller people would probably struggle with it. Front door of room could do with soundproofing lots of hallway noise comes through (other doors opening and closing, tvs and conversations Water pressure in shower nice but could be better and possibly needs an exhaust fan to not fog up the mirrorClose to a train station if you aren’t drivingNearby activities: Close enough to darling harbour, we walked all the way to circular quay for Vivid
Steve: A great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, good decor and design, and decent rooms. Only faults were the noise from the roof (air handling units) on the forth floor loft rooms (401-405) and variation in prices - massive decrease (over 35% less) in the week before stay, which was price-matched but only after lots of back and forth.
Olivia Williams: I really enjoyed staying here. Great decor and style. My room was quiet and perfect temperature. Good breakfasts. Take note, that the included B+B rate doesn't include breakfast drinks.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Nima: Booked a night in the city to go see a comedy show and we’re quite pleased with the hotel.Room was very neat and clean. Bathroom also very clean. Rooms aren’t very big but as long as you’re not spending all day in the room that’s not a problem. The staff are super friendly. The mini bar was stocked with free non alcoholic drinks and the candy bar in the lobby is a nice touch. There are some reviews that mention very loud pipes, and while there definitely is some pipe noise in the walls, it wasn’t all that bad and I wonder if I would have even noticed it had I not read the reviews beforehand.Overall would definitely recommend staying here.
Chris Bebb: A real gem of a place to stay! Amazing small details throughout the building made it fun to stay and explore. Free sweet treats and complimentary drinks and snacks increased to value and nothing short of first class service from all the staff I interacted with. Can't wait to stay againRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Romantic, Quiet, Great value …More
neo downunder: I scored this 1 star on the night that we stayed because the evening receptionist was not aware (or not trained) of handling a guest with specific accessibility needs. I changed this to 5 stars because the receptionist, BECKY, could answer and assist with all our requests. She went above and beyond, so I changed my review scores to 5 stars.Ovolo management, I've stayed with your chain of hotels in Australia multiple times, and my initial experience with Woolstore 1888 was lacklustre. Good thing that you have one staff from this hotel who could flip our experience from 1 to 5. Please look into what happened, as I don't want your other guest to experience what we've experienced. Customers in wheelchairs may not be your typical patrons, but it's just disappointing how our initial interaction with your staff made us even want to score and review your hotel so poorly. Kudos to BECKY for changing our experience- Thank you.Further feedback will be emailed to your CEO.
Pete R: Not horrible for the price, but air conditioning didn’t work and when I was moved I wasn’t given my own key (reason given was; because I was checking out the next day). Bit strange not to access my own room and it feels a bit like a bed and breakfast and like I was being hurried out.Appreciate that I was moved to a room with aircon but it felt a bit unprofessional, not private (there’s no soundproofing from the corridor so you will hear every door open and close), and needing some maintenance. As nice as the staff were, they seem resigned to the hotel’s shortcomings, and the absence of management is obvious. No room service Sunday and Monday by the way.Its good as a crash pad nearish the cbd but I won’t come back again.
alex m: This is a beautiful hotel with a great atmosphere. All the staff are very friendly and super accommodating.put this place on your list if you want a relaxing experience.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/4Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Glenn Enright: Pretty room and excellent food. Service great.Rooms: 5/4|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Elena Tang: While I appreciate that the hotel has their policies in place, I was disappointed to find out that they were unable to accommodate a cancellation request with more than a month's notice. I had made a booking through Orbit and unfortunately, we were not able to receive any refund for the cancellation. While I understand that they have terms and conditions that must be adhered to, I was left feeling frustrated by the inflexibility of the arrangements. While I may not choose to book this hotel again in the future, I do hope that they will consider reviewing their policies to be more accommodating to their guests.
A Alkaidin: Too noisy. The sound proof is poor and there are unknown sound in the bathroom every night. My door shakes everytime when someone close their door. Also the water flow is quite small. The bed and pillow is comfy, decoration is pretty good.
Brad G: Stayed the for two nights beginning our wedding night there. All I can say… absolute beautiful. Thank you so much to all the staff involved everything was perfect we have told so many people about it and they’re all keen to stay there. The room was amazing the service was amazing so were the cocktails. You made our wedding night and following night amazing with everything you all did and we are forever grateful. Looking forward to coming and staying there again!!Perfect location is perfect as well
Roger Voyle: Friendly and affordable option.

Tarun Gandhi: Not worth of paying 400 pn as the rooms are so small and amenities are not that great. Even however the breakfast charges are high but it’s not that great
J Dang: Amazing location right across from the heart of darling harbour and the ICC. Was comfortable, clean, and had amazing kind service. Hubby and I stayed here with two kids and they had a light show as well as tents set up for my toddlers. Such extra love and care for our first trip to Australia. Lisa and her team were prompt, thoughtful, and swift to resolve issues. To be clear, the issue we ran into was our toddler locking the bathroom door from the outside leaving us with no bathroom. Called the front team and they took care of it in less than 20 min. And kind and happy to do so. No grumpy faces here all week long! Love this hotel. Highly recommend . We will be back when we return to Sydney!

Marcus Foth: Dated yet overpriced chain hotel that has seen its hay days a long time ago. Issues we experienced: while right next to Darling Harbour, it’s super complicated to get there due to construction, lack of way finding signage and poor design heading through the car park and various lifts. Breakfast queue is long and slow. Reception is always super busy with not enough staff dealing with the amount of people during peak periods. Rooms are dated but ok.
Hoang Nguyen: I had the worst experience at this hotel from start to finish. First off when i got thereThese guys hire one person at reception and there was a line with about 50 people waiting to be checked in. We waited over an hour to be checked in.They tried to make us pay for wifi when they had complimentary wifi.At night we called reception to ask about room service but the lady was rude and non helpful and she hung up on us.The next day a housekeeper walked into our room at 8am and we were told somebody checked us out at 7am. I wanna know how we can be checked out when me and my wife still had both keys with us.The hotel is advertised as a 4star hotel, but is really more of a budget hotel 2 star maximum.Never again staying at novotel
Gerard Schokman: Nine of us were at the Ternary restaurant for a Birthday dinner. The staff are fantastic. For some reason, the office lost our dinner booking. The staff responded courteously Although they were full, prepared a table for us.Thanks all.Comments from the table:-All the entrees were excellent,- Scotch Fillet was the prized dish. Well prepared flavoursome.-Balmain bug was OK.-The linguini was half cooked and had to go back for 'rework' but in true hotel standards, a new serving was prepared.-Butter Chicken was OK.- The Swordfish was ok-Panang prawn curry was good with lots of prawns in it.Would I go back? Most certainly.
Nieves Dennis: Not providing toiletries. No slippers, no robe, no water. Dirty carpet!
Ray & Glenchy Peerless: We've only stayed here once but would definitely stay again, we even recommended it to our family visiting from OS, they loved it.Lovely clean rooms with great views.Brilliant service.Lots of easy parking.Generally speaking a great place to stay.Highly recommended 👌Rooms: Lovely clean roomsSafety: There is no question of safety here. We never once felt unsafe or anxious.Walkability: Easy walk to some fantastic restaurants and touristy stuff.Food & drinks: Lots of great restaurants close by if you don't want to dine in their own restaurant, which is pretty good anyway.
Caryanne Cleevely: Food & drinks: Great company event we had at the Novotel Darling harbour this week! Shout out to Silvia in banqueting for our awards dinner, excellent customer service making our guests feel welcome and special, took great care of us! Also thanks to John, Kelly and the events team, very happy overall.Service: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More

Crowne Plaza Sydney Darling Harbour, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Cheria Story: Great hotel at city center
Fiona L: No doubt Mr. Jun Yoon is the “best” staff in this 4 star hotel. I love sharing my wonderful experiences here with all potential guests. In stead of welcome words, he treated me like a criminal suspect. He just stared at me coldly and started interrogating me, threatening me, using my words against me. ( Is it a hotel or police station?) No matter what I said, he just repeated his threatening and unfriendly words, again and again. A great employee ultimately brings success to his company. The hotel will be proud of him in the future because he does his job SO WELL. I heartily recommend anyone who wants to be belittled and insulted, book this hotel for a premium price, Mr. Jun Yoon will not let you down. What a wonderful SERVICE QUALITY! What a wonderful SERVICE ATTITUDE!
Yih-tsen Lai: I can not believe this is a 4 star hotel. Mr Jun Yoon, as an office manager (what a joke) treated my family like a criminal on 2023-06-07. Mr Jun Yoon doubted my family's access during check-in and insulted her with offensive, threatening and discriminatory words. To anyone who needs an experience of being disparaged, this hotel is a good choice. (ps: but not for free)

Christoph B: Stayed here for 5 nights.Near (2 streets) to "townhall" Station. (Train or Lightrail)Staff was very friendly, room offered enough space and everything was Clean.Parking is around 65AUD/night. Lot of space in the Garage. One Point for improvement: please change the ambient music in Lobby/Restaurant. Hearing everytime such melancholy, sad music, doesnt let you start motivated into the new day. ;-)Greetings from germany
Eliza Cowling: I stayed at Crowne Plaza for a work trip and it was fantastic. The location was central and easy to get to everywhere. The rooms were awesome - clean, modern and spacious and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Definitely get breakfast included because it's not standard hotel breakfast, it's more like a cafe and my colleagues and I really liked the food.

Marcus Willis: I've stayed here a number of times and have always loved, it. It's a great hub to work from and close to heaps of awesome restaurants.Plus, the team are always lovely and the rooms are great to work from. Can't wait to be back!
Michaela Caione: Exceptional 5-Star Experience in Sydney!Look no further for your stay in Sydney! This place is the ultimate choice. Its unbeatable location, just a short walk from Town Hall station, puts all the top attractions within easy reach. The hotel boasts a brand new, modern ambiance that sets the stage for an unforgettable stay. The staff goes above and beyond with their warm and friendly service. And let's not forget about the beds and amenities—truly the best in Sydney! Whether you're traveling with friends or for work, don't miss out on this exceptional opportunity to elevate your Sydney experience. Highly recommended!

Stephen Beath: Lovely hotel just minutes from Darling Harbour and the Town Hall (with underground train). Everything about this place was top notch, except the in room espresso machine which had a tendency of swallowing capsules without producing any coffee. 5 star hotel, great experience!Rooms: Really nice, great beds, bathroom, workstation.

Mara: I recently had the pleasure of going to a Mother’s Day high tea at this wonderful hotel and I cannot recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the modern and stylish decor. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional staff. The front desk was always friendly and helpful, and the waiters went above and beyond to ensure that my glasses were always filled and needs met. Nothing was too hard for them.Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would recommend this hotel to everyone! I will definitely be booking in a weekend staycation here. 5 stars all around!

Rydges World Square Hotel: what do users think?
Robyn Wright: Thought this hotel was great value. Good location and great vibes. Only negative is the pillows were a it sad and flat. Due for replacing I think. Would happily stay again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Pang Y: The hotel gave key card access to a random separate guest who entered my room, and proceeded to say the did no such thing. The other guest in question was standing next to me in the lobby when I questioned the situation and asked for new keys. No accommodation or assurance was offered for this situation other than lobby staff saying this didn’t happen.

Nancy Abraham: Location of the hotel is great. Unfortunately they don’t offer any complimentary bottled water, no body shower within amenities. We requested an early check in which we didn’t get, the rooms was unready until 2:15 and 2 receptionists were not very helpful, the third thankfully took an action and moved procedures to check us in as the extra bed was not ready. The bed and pillows are horrible, you could see the bed base is touching the floor for its middle (check the photo) which has caused us back and neck pain.. the breakfast open buffet is okay, not much varieties however basics of eggs, bacon, some pastries and cereals are there and only instant coffee. To drink a proper cup of coffee you got to pay for it.
Vinz UTOS: Awesome thanks
Heidi Massie: Booked for a musical. And couldn't understand the ridiculous prices, but for the location, so was everything in the area, only realising a few weeks prior it was due to Mardi gras. Price hike of over $1000 for 4 people sharing a room. Have an upcoming stay again, due to location and availability decided to book again. I've tried several times to pay for my booking prior to my arrival and have constantly hung up by the reservations team after finally speaking to someone was told, no they can not take my payment over the phone, even though other rydges have done it.Great location though and close to great restaurants and bars. Big Rip for parking. Next time I book for a show in Sydney I'll be more organised and book elsewhere though, due to the very poor service
Lyssa-Brooke Row: Rooms: Clean and comfyWalkability: Close to everything.Food & drinks: Restaurant had great meals and buffet breaky.
K S: this hotel is really in the best location, we got pretty much anywhere we needed without any issues on public transport (by both bus and train.) our room was very spacious, we had a lovely big bed and we could mirror our phones to our tv which was great to watch stuff. the staff are also very lovely and accommodating. was also really glad they were able to accommodate a slightly early check-in, by about 30 mins, as we were exhausted.the worst thing for me about this stay was the bathroom, and i truly think the 3 star rating is justified. firstly, the shower is just a top shower head that you can move the direction of, nothing detachable, it makes showering a lot harder. this made it dangerous when washing as the soap/suds just gathered on the floor (without being able to wash them away as needed) making a slipping risk. this risk wasn't made any easier by the fact that the flooring is the exact same all over the bathroom, even in the shower, so there is nothing anti-slip in there. also on our first day, we had a weak flush on the toilet, next morning it had completely stopped. i told reception and they were lovely and got it fixed quickly. next were the toiletries. the ones in our bathroom had all been used. not just used but used and still dirty from the last person who used them, how are these not replaced after each stay?? it's basic hygiene, and was very disgusting. and finally, the bath. when emptying the bath after using it, all the bubbles came out of the drain in the middle of the bathroom floor. surely this is something that can be updated/fixed in a 4 star hotel?if it wasn't for all the bathroom issues, it would've been a perfect stay pretty much, i think there is a lot that could be done to improve on that front
Ren: Location and staff were great, however improvements could be made to the following areas:1) Shower head should be provided as an alternative instead of rain shower2) Shower glass should be extended another 500mm to avoid bath room floors from getting wet3) Rain shower head needs to be inspected and fixed for leaking water (photos) - the cold water from the leak is uncomfortable4) Its disappointing that body wash had ran out during our 4 nights stay, and we had to use hair shampoo/ hand soap5) For a 4 star hotel and AUD250 a night, at least 2 small complimentary bottled water should be provided
Dilum Bandara: Went to a 2 day conference that included tea, lunch, and dinner. Excellent food, good service, and easy access.Walkability: Less than 10 min walk to both Town Hall and Museum stations
Claude Worbster: What more can I say, it was a lovely room, best location in Sydney for getting around & the staff were all friendly, helpful & professional.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet, Great value …More
James marshall: Cheap and comfy
Frances Laycock: Staff were beautiful, friendly and efficient. I was here away from my family for five days for work and exams and they were great.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Tasha Sylvia: We attended Rydges for a private function. The ballroom was underwhelming considering the location. However the food was very good and the staff were friendly.
