Jiexi Wu: It is the museum of Sydney, but it is very small. Only took me less than 15 minutes to walk through the whole building. There is not much to see in the building. And there are something in display which I didn't like (eg: swearing words in the art display which I thought was not very appropriate for a museum.) The most interesting thing in the building for me was the play area. The music was calm and the room looked nice. The staff at the front are very friendly and welcoming which was good.

Followed up with a walk around the dinosaurs and birds exhibits. I was very impressed with the presentations and the notes on each. Really a must visit place if you want to know how insignificant you are in the history of our planet.
Sam and Benny: This museum expertly combines art with artefact to teach us about our past, our present and even our future. We particularly enjoyed learning about the First Nations people and the natural history of Australia. The minerals exhibit is also well worth a visit. Overall the Australian Museum is a wonderful resource in the heart of the city and we highly recommend you add it to your itinerary.

Shez H: I have been here twice when it was open. It’s very tight inside so this presents a huge problem with Covid because it’s impossible to social distance. But I have to tell everyone when it is open again it’s a must do! This building is totally untouched from the 1800s. The Rocks was the first suburb in Australia and this place is fine example of what life was like living here. The guide was great and answered many of my questions. In summer it can get very stuffy in here so cooler days would be better. Sadly you are not allowed to take any photos.
Sangchan Yoo: 150년이 넘은 가장 오래된 하우스이곳은 각종 촬영 장소로도 유명한 스팟이다.이색적인 분위기를 연출할 수 있다
Jack T: A great way to get an understanding of the last 150 years in Sydney from a working class perspective. These 4 terrace houses built in 1844 have a long and varied history which the Living Museums group have researched and uncovered in amazing detail.Travelling between the four houses as part of a guided tour (you cannot view the properties outwith a tour, so book ahead) you are given insight into each of the major time periods the properties were occupied (late 1800s, early 1900s, mid-late 1900s). This insight comes primarily from accounts of those who lived there which are pieced together from various sources including their descendants and neighbours. The interiors are not restored (a choice made by the museum) to preserve the real history of the buildings. They are cared for and made safe but left, as much as possible, since being left vacant in 1989.Our tour was given by Russell who was fantastic, charismatic and cheekily funny. Perfectly pitched for the group and the material he was delivering. He and the museum brought to life the story of working class Sydney over the last 150 years.Brilliant!
Brian Champion: A classic look at how life used to be.

nitin dayal: A quite little landmark with lots of history. Located in the historic area of The Rocks, which is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Sydney. Cadmans cottage is known to be the oldest surviving building in SydneyIf you are interested in history and heritage this is good stopover. You can find this cottage if you are waking around circular quay. It is opposite the overseas passenger terminal, accurately pinned on google maps.Built in 1816, it is the oldest surviving residential building in Sydney and is considered an important example of early colonial architecture. The cottage was originally built for the use of the government boatman, whose job was to ferry passengers and goods across Sydney Harbour.
Byoungsoo Choi: 호주 이주민의 역사가 시작된 매우 역사적인 장소입니다.

Turlough Guerin: Brilliant
Chan Richard: Historic place

It is still original condition and Heritage listed.
Ya Boi: Went on school excursion, interesting place, lots of history behind it
Kristie Hilleard: Absolutely wonderful
J A: The only building in the rocks that isn't a reproduction. I felt scammed that all the rocks buildings are 19th or 20th century reconstructions. Surely as Australians, we can be honest? But this building? Golden. Jewell in the crown of Sydney. Glad I stopped by. I'll be writing a letter to the tourism board about the rest. Its a joke we try to fool the tourists. Don't believe me? Google the history of the rocks...

Aboriginal Rock Engravings: what do users think?
Ian Wilson: This is a fantastic place with interesting rock art. But it's terrible to see people and whole tour groups stepping off the path and walking over the precious engravings. Signs protecting the site should be larger and in different languages.
Stacey Hunter: Such a fantastic part of Australia's history. Aboriginal Australians have lived on this land for 60,000 years, the world's oldest living civilisation. 🌏These engravings are part of that history. Please respect them by walking on the metal boardwalk.Signage indicates what the engravings are, and are helpfully oriented in the direction you're viewing them.
Daniel Ryken: These rock carvings are quite faint, but very easy to find. There is actually a boardwalk that goes from the main bush track that takes you right up to them, and they are clearly signposted with an explanation of what it is, along with a sketch. The great thing with that is it stops people from accidentally walking over the carvings. Carved into what I believe is sandstone, the carvings are slowly fading away over the years, but you can still make out its original shape.
Anita Malik: Beautiful place Aboriginal carvings are one of the best seen in Sydney
Aimée Nguyễn: I just simply love Aboriginal art
congus bongus: Nice pit stop on the spit to manly walk
Wesley Yeung: Not sure I found it or not , not special
Brendan Millett: Disappointed to see this amazing engravings left very much unprotected. NPNSW need to find a away to keep these amazing works open to the public but protected to stop people walking over them. Worth the short detour off the main Spit to Manly track.
Annabella Bray: Stills from the movie "They're a Weird Mob" filmed here in 1967, actors walking all over the site!! The engravings are much clearer back then.
Karen M: You can surely see the etched markings in the sandstone. All are framed by wood beams.
Nikunj Vaidhya: Hardly anything to see there. The engravings are too faded to be appreciated.
Plato TPT: Interesting
