Vanessa Cossel: Job was not completed as per instructions. My Real Estate has been trying to resolve in a reasonable way for the last 6 months but Kingsford Blinds blames the technician who attended and says since the technician is a contractor they no longer use, there is nothing they can do. I strongly recommend not to release payment until the job is completed and you are satisfied. I am now left to pick up the pieces of their mistake because they used an incompetent contractor. They certainly should be liable and take accountability. Just no longer worth my time.

I am in love with my blinds!I got 4 blinds with battery operated motors, and 4 blinds (bedrooms) with the pulls. All work great, and I am very happy with my purchase. I have had them in for over a month now. Highly recommend and should I ever need blinds again, will go here.PS - Didn't love the website, but once I called and had a conversation, plus they came to measure with examples, I was all set.

The pricing is very competitive and his experience and knowledge fills us full of confidence every time that we have used his services for shopfront awnings.
Ratha Uneek: Told me he will quote us for almost 5 weeks. Never got around to it, now our outdoor license is at risk of expiring. Amazing industry where theres only like 2-3 guys who do this work and they don't care about getting any business at all. Lacking basic respect for the client to even bother quoting. Should have just said "No I'm too busy" instead of leading us on for almost 5 weeks

Usman Hafeez: We got an outdoor blind installed in the Alfresco or our house. Ravi and Sunny were excellent to deal with from the quotation to the installation stage. Blind was installed as per agreed time and date. While the blind quality is excellent and installation is done professionally, however, there is an inherent flaw in the design which leaves an open gap at the top, hence, mosquitoes and flies can always enter from this gap. I was told this is a proprietary design and can’t be changed. Therefore, may not suit those who are looking for full insulation from flies and mosquitoes. But overall excellence quality blind which protects from wind, dust, light etc.

Ozsun is the only company that we have dealt with where the after sales service is as good as the pre sales service.

Jennifer Rooney: Atrocious service . Organised a quote months ago , paid a deposit and have now paid in full for a shutter installation. No contact or updates in between about when to expect installation despite leaving messages to ask and the past week have been told the shutter will be installed on 2 different days each with no one showing up. They forced me to pay in full before installation - I understand a deposit, but this was exactly my concern about paying before I had the product. I can only hope they show up soon.
Vishnu Radhakrishnan: Waste of time and effort & terrible customer service. I went to the Apollo Silverwater showroom a few times, sat down with the consultant to give the detailed requirement plans, then followed up via multiple emails and phone calls. They didn’t even care to respond after multiple follow ups. Stay away from this place if you need good blinds or curtains installed on time. There are much better options elsewhere…
Abdullah Muradi: DO NOT USE... worst company and people i have ever dealt with. Got these guys to install few roller shutters costing thousands, stopped working just over a year. Called back and forth for over a week. Finally they said its gonna cost $145 everytime there is a fault with them, and they have 5 years warranty. Will be contacting fair trading for sure and make a formal complaint. This was not told when installing the products or when paying for them.Hello, i could not reply to your msg so i am editing my review, i cant put my details on google review for privacy reasons, i hope you under stand, i have emailed Theresa from Apollo blinds requesting to speak to the manager.
Yvonne Fryer: Waste of money and a heap of my time. All slats made to incorrect measurement . When I tried to sort it out I was ran around and fobbed off. Told one thing but that never happened. Ended up a couple of months later contacting management whom contacted me on the day, knowing it is a fault of theirs and couldn’t bend with my working hours and even offer someone to come out and measure on the weekends. Still waiting for a reply from a email sent. Tbh I’ll keep what I’ve got count the loss and never go there again. Normally I love writing reviews. But this company has been very unprofessional for a return of incorrectly made slats and correspondence and have been a headache!
Amy Early: Most appalling customer service I’ve ever experienced. The initial quote was fine but as soon as we paid things went downhill. There was no communication and I had to chase up to get an installation date. When the installers finally came (2 months later) the blinds didn’t fit, despite having had 2 different Apollo reps measure our windows. We were told by the installer that they’d fix the issue ASAP. That was 6 weeks ago and we’ve heard nothing since then. Not a single word. They have not returned emails or answered phone calls. I suspect there is something seriously wrong at the Sydney franchise. So 3 months on from our original order the only option we’ve got left is NSW Fair Trading.

Saranjiit Siingh: Absolutely pathetic service. New electric blinds installed, fell on the floor. Technician came to check after many calls. He said blinds are not made properly. Took the blind back with a promise to replace in a week. It has been more than 4 weeks and even after making so many calls there is no guidance when the matter will be addressed. It is such a waste of time chasing these unprofessional companies with low skilled workers, having no understanding of good customer experience. I am writing this review because I am sick of chasing and having my house with no room coverings and privacy. There is NO SIGN of someone addressing the problem. Very very frustrating.

We paid the amount owing in full, then when the installers arrived, they realised the initial measurements taken were incorrect, so the blinds were the wrong size.We were told someone would be in touch with a new installation date, but never heard back. 4 weeks later we started to follow up and received no response from the Sales person. When we eventually got through to head office (who did not return calls), they informed me the colour we wanted was no longer available and that they had had this information ONE week after the installers came to our house.I escalated the issue to a manager who told me he would send out samples to my home, so I could see other colours available. Samples never arrived and we have been unable to get back in touch with the manager. He is either on the phone or out of the office every time my husband or I call.Nearly 3 months since we first contacted the company, we have requested a refund in fullThis is honestly the worst service I have ever received in my life! Whilst the value of the job was small, we have a house full of blinds and I guarantee when they eventually need replacing, Apollo Blinds will be the last place I turn for quotes.

Quality will not last you over a month or year. Installation was horrible, had other companies coming in laughing and telling me it looked very unprofessionally done.Service was even worse!. Apparently they couldn’t measure for one blind properly - so what hope is there. Then they never called back to confirm when it would be fixed even though they have your phone number & email address. Apparently they make all the blinds in Melbourne so has to be sent there to be fixed & returned. We are now another 4 weeks since the original install and still no blind and no calls. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
Fay Shean: Very happy with our new Apollo roller blinds and really impressed with the service provided by the installer Joe who was very professional and even took time to help out with an old existing blind (another brand) that was not rolling properly. My rating would have been 5 stars but 1 of the blinds did not fit on arrival and we had to wait an extra 3 weeks. On the whole I would recommend Apollo Blinds & Shutters.
sca patt: Just had indoor blinds and outdoor awnings installed. The gentleman were on time, polite, gave very good advice and installed the blinds perfectly. I couldn't be happier with the service. The blinds themselves are high quality were reasonably priced and the waiting time was minimal. I highly recommend Apollo, as this is the second time we did business with them. The first time was 15 years ago. That's how long the previous blinds lasted.
I W: DO NOT BUY - if you look at all the recent reviews for this business it has been POORVery very poor follow through and customer service. I had installed cellular blinds ($2k for 4 windows) 3 years ago, and requested for 1 blind to be repaired (as the thread broke). It took 2 weeks of ME calling, chasing up via email and phone just to book a date for consultant to come into my home, just to advise if it could be repaired.I have spoken with Robyn, Robert and Tereasa on the phone. Shamus (the consultant) whom advised it could be repaired was supposed to submit the paper work to the manager - Nathan B, and according to Nathan - Shamus had lost the paper work. After calling Robyn, Robert and Tereasa multiple times - I had requested to be put in touch with the person whom is meant to be repairing my blinds (Nathan) who, apparently, is rarely in the office. So I'm not sure why someone who is a manger is never in the office, never follows up on customer emails, "looses paper work", takes more than 6 weeks (and counting) to repair a broken blind or even order the 'cord' from the supplier, with no follow through email with customer reference number etc is in a leadership position.Advice to public - don't waste your money or time on this business. Give your money to a company that actually wants your business, has good customer follow through with at least 3 years warranty on all their products. You may pay a little bit extra, but it's worth it for better customer experience and to work with professionals. Apollo blinds is very unprofessional, and unapologetic about their poor customer service.Advice to Apollo blinds franchise - your managers need to provide better customer service (ie better follow up/follow through) OR AUTOMATE IT - ie create an online customer portal containing all the customers receipts, ability to book a consultants online, warranty period etc. It should not take me 6 weeks +++ just to repair a blind, at this point, you should be providing me a FREE service and have the blinds repaired within 5 business days, due to the horrible customer experience.
Frederic Valet: Very disappointing with the installation, we ordered 13 blinds. However 1 blind did not fit.. the installer told us it would be replaced ASAP, we did not hear anything for two weeks, tried to contact Apollo four times with promise to call us back with an ETA installation and it never happened. How hard is it to call a customer back? not to mention how hard it is to measure the length of a window? See photos regarding the poor workmanship/"finishing"...We still haven't heard from Apollo and we are left with no blind in our bedroom. Pricing comes at a cost, which is no customer service at all.

I've called at lease 5 times, left messages and emailed to get an update. I've had zero response so far. Shame on you Apollo blinds, just terrible service..
Robyn Norris: I read reviews about the poor communication. I had a quote, they came out promptly and provided quote which was comparable. When I was ready to order I called and all I got was a number of non answered calls, phone ringing out, left messages and finally got onto someone who promised to get the salesman to call me .......never happened. 2 weeks later tried to call again. No response to messages. How frustrating it must be for people who have paid money to Apollo only to get this appalling communication from them. Needless to say they didn't get my business.

Daphna LK: Service is poor and impersonal, installers do not always come within the agreed time frame, customers have to chase up for repairs or reinstallation, communication between departments (service/installers/factory) is weak.If you want Roman blinds do NOT use this company.They have had to come back 4 times already (waiting now for 5th!) as they have repeatedly cut the blinds too long so they drag in the floor - and as Romans stretch over time this would just get worse. The last time they came, one of the blinds was broken so they took it away. Today they replaced that blind with a broken one and had to take it away again.
Michael P: Shutters are ok but 3 key areas were not communicated well at all. With our concerns not addressed, has left the job looking unprofessional. Still (many weeks later) waiting on Braiden the owner to get back to us that Dylan from customer service promised us a callback from. Nothing. You’d think the owner of the business would want to follow up on complaints.

We had used Shutters Australia a few years ago (did half the house and thought it was time to do the rest this year). We were impressed with all stages from go to whoa; the initial spec (with helpful ideas for tricky areas), the check/measure, and the installation. The company also quickly responds to communication and keeps you well informed. We highly recommend Shutters Australia.
Stephen Taylor: Had shutters installed in late 2016. Despite what was said, the bulk of the materials came from China so no it so sure about being locally made.Installation resulted in a cracked bathroom tile that they failed to accept liability for. Within a year most of the magnetic latched had rusted and were replaced.Post warranty period we noticed the paint started to come off. The customer service team said it was due to the weather conditions - given some of the shutters were not even open to the elements this was hard to believe and we do not live in an area where you would consider the weather to be extreme. They of course offered to have someone come out and instal new shutters - at our own expense of course.Had a professional with over 30 years experience come in to check the shutters with the view of having them repainted. After looking at them they said they had not seen such poor workmanship and would not be able to do the job as the paint would not stick long term.Recommend you shop around and find a local company that is truly Australian made and makes a quality product.

Pricewise Rouna ended up the 2nd cheapest of our quotes. Everyone we dealt with was professional and helpful, installation was done within the timeframe quoted and took less than an hour.
