claire zhang: Croissant is very fresh. Highly recommended for North Sydney.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/4 …More
iamschizoid iamschizoid: Went here after trying the delicious the pork & fennel roll, the lamb roll and the rhubarb Danish at the Marrickville branch where I was served by its wonderful, happy, friendly staff. Here, I was reluctantly "greeted" by an Asian-looking female staff who looked as though she'd rather be serving someone else. (By the way, I'm an Asian-looking female as well so it's a little ironic.) Fortunately, another much friendlier staff took my order. From now on, think I'll be heading to the Marrickville branch to satisfy my Bourke Street Bakery cravings instead.
Max Whiteman: Delicious pies and sausage rolls.
CY T: 為了每天經過聞到的那香味❤️
Calista: Chunky beef pie ($7.5) is the best! My forever favourite pie shop
Kyle Seeber: Sausage roll every morning while I lived in north Sydney, after 5years of living in Perth I still dream about your sausage rolls

Ka Ling (Drkyling): Mostly take away but there are a few small seats you can have a quick meal or coffee at. The sausage rolls (pork and fennel) are amazing ($7.50), ham and cheese toasties are great and I also love their tarts (a bit tiny, but still really yummy). Great place to grab something small if you pass by. Sadly they close by mid afternoon and are not open on Sunday.
Vishal Bhagani: Awesome place, love the outdoor area, good good and coffeeFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
misc day: Please make coffee, not coffee milk. What a waste of money.
N: Great sourdough bread and croissants. Thank you!
Mon F.: One of the best bakery for bread loafs and muffins! I highly recommend the pear and rhubarb muffin

Jennilee Y: The pasries, baguette, tarts are all so so delicious. Not overly sweet, yet sweet enough (except for the croissants which is deliciously buttery but not over buttery) and the baguette is so crunchy and soft inside. So delicious and service is great. The best.
Sara Hassan: The best French bakery in Sydney! Ordered couples of times the 'breakfast for two' on a Sunday! Very good service and they are always delivering on time! Receiving at home fresh French pastry during this lockdown was the best moment of the day! Thank you!

Bourke Street Bakery Surry Hills: what do users think?
Myrmidon MacKenzie: Still the best pork and fennel sausage roll ever!
Jo-Anne Curry: This is my daily go to for their amazing coffee. A few favourites: chocolate croissants, ginger brulee tarts, flourless chocolate cake, and their pies & sausage rolls are to die for!
Marieke Snelleman: Best carrot cake and coffee in Sydney!
Jackson ZiJian: Get the beef redwine pie it's the best pie in city
Ted Reviews: Pork and Fennel Sausage Roll. Lamb Harissa Sausage Roll are delicious here. Washed down with some Smooth Belgian Iced Chocolate Drink from their fridge. You'll sleep like baby for the rest of the afternoon after a Sunday Brunch.
Noel Valenti: Amazing coffee and bakery goods. Very busy, very often and for good reason.
Hugh Goold: Ok for a hung over sausage roll - but expect reflux! The oiliest ones in town. The croissants and pains aux chocolats are chewy and tasteless. A big shame given how much competition there is with tonton and la vie est belle just around the corner.
Steve Kur: The OG, best pork & fennel sausage roll.
L L: A place that never lets you down when it comes to their hot bakes. All types of bakeries are amazing. What I love the most here is their ginger tart (unique, full of flavours and iconic).I can't wait to visit again.Highly recommended! 🥐
Gunawan Santoso: One of my favourite bakery
Liyana Rosli: I bought the vegan eggplant and chickpea sausage roll and a cup of mocha. It was nice to have first thing in the morning!
Leila: Arrogant and agitated staff. Do not recommend this branch. Threw my carrot cake into a bag and squished it. Didn’t want to give me a box. Threw my pies that I ordered also into a paper bag. By the time I sat down they all fell apart and became impossible to handle. No care for their customers. Also filled the coffee to the brim, making it spill everywhere. Incompetent staff.
Zuyu Isara: This is the best pie in surry hills!! And the rest of the menu looks delicious too. I will try every thing one day but can’t go past the beef mushroom pie. 😋
Gloria Chan: I enjoy going to bakery a lot and always exploring new bakeries. I know Bourke Street Bakery is actually quite famous and have several shops so I decided to give it a go.Beef brisket pie 💜💜💜💜The crust is very nice. You can taste beef brisket pieces and they go so well with mushrooms. Taste even better with ketchup.Creme brûlée 💜💜💜💜💜It is very VERY nice. The ginger taste is not strong. Goes SO SO SO well with the tart. The tart itself is a bit thick to make you can taste the tart.Lemon curd tart 💜💜💜It is filled with curd but it is too lemony to me. I think it’s the same tart pastry as the creme brulee so it’s alright.Pork sausage roll 💜💜💜I actually expect a lot but then it disappointed me. Tbh the sausage is juicy and nice. The roll is also ok. However they couldn’t combine well together.Olive sourdough 💜💜💜💜💜 (not jn picture)One of my favourite sourdough. If you go to the bakery, there is no way you not buying it. SO JUST BUY IT. The sourdough is not hard at all. Olives give very nice taste to it.Almond croissant 💜 (not in picture)It really disappointed me. I’m not sure is it an accident but what. The pastry is bad. The filling is bad. The toppings is also bad. I almost couldn’t finish it.My standard:1 star: the worst, not worth eating2 star: bad because of either taste or portion or not worth it3 star: it’s ok but I’m not going back4 star: it’s good and I might be going back5 star: I love it and I will definitely go again
Diedre ledger: Always good- like the frozen pies- took some to family in the states recently- they travel well!
Hanbi You: Ginger Crème Brûlée Tart - 5/5
Liang Nie: My only place to go for after an early morning gym session, great coffee and fantastic foods, and of course, beautiful staff and services!
Ania Pfeifer: We were starving 😂 we had beef pie yummy lamb almond Harrisa sausage roll delicious, almond croissant a must and ginger crème brûlée tart so good, then I wanted more so we had beer beef mashed potato pie good , got lucky no line up , highly recommend, friendly helpful staff , tomato sauce is not ketchup which I don’t care for anyway haha but homemade tangy tomato sauce which goes so well with savoury dishes a must have imo 😊👍🏻 save your appetite and come here !
Warren Bishop: Good food but standards and service are not what they used to be
Sheldon Wile: Amazing place in Sydney for Sausage Rolls, meat pies and sweet pastries. Highly recommend the sausage rolls and tarts available
Kemal Enver: The ham and cheese thing was 👌🏻

Flour and Stone: what do users think?
dontwaitdate: Probably better to have the many, many pastries as a takeaway instead of eating in because a) you can be as greedy as possible (be very greedy. get the pies and the pastries. you’re welcome); b) there is a sitting area but that has limited selection. Been there a few times and too many options to choose from. Luckily, can’t really go wrong with anything.
Guy van Bergen: Best croissants in Sydney I've tried so far, and I'm veeery picky. Friendly staff as well!
G Okeef: Lovely staff, excellent baked goods and sandwiches. Will definitely revisit
Andy Wang: What an amazing place to grab pastries. You can choose to sit down and have some at the Pantry, or go two doors down for takeaway at the Annexe. There are some of the most friendly folks there to help. And of course everything is good.
Percy Andrews: It’s the spot for celebration cakes. Must order the black forest, almond rocher or family chocolate.
Veena Chandar: My favourite bakery in Sydney. Everything hits 10/10. What a treat every time.
Michelle Wells: Amazing … the pistachio and streusel bun … the sausages rolls …. So so so good
Eleanore Wells: Beautiful and tasty lamingtons and Anzac cookies.
irene fernandez: Overpriced and overvalued, what can go wrong?$8.60 a croissant is an aberrant price for any croissant, but specially for one so average as the one I have had today in Flour & stone.
Alexandra Vargas: Really cute little coffee. As a French I really think they make good pastries, I was craving for that quality.
Catherine Porquier: Delicious pastries, cakes and gingerbread biscuits.
Bianca Joy Polloso: Came here 2x just to try the Lamington cake (Monday morning they didn’t have it) but it was just okay. We loved the coffee and cinnamon roll though, they were delicious!
Michele: Best almond cornetto since I moved to Australia 12 years ago!
Stephen Mitchell: Never any food available
Guy Preston: Very nice panacotta Lamington, albeit expensive. The service is slow so there are always long queues. Recommend preordering
Lilian N L: Enjoyed the 🍅 tomato galette, pear/quince brown butter tart. Looking forward to try my birthday cake (hazelnut torte) today!
Abigail Gray: Had a lovely pie here for a late lunch - a beef rendang pie and I added the tomato chutney too for $1 extra. Staff were lovely and the place had a decent amount of seating for it being so small. Slightly pricey for what it is but still nice!
Luke McCann: Negligible attempt to accommodate celiac customers on the menu, we were also told (rather abrubtly) that it was not possible to make even the slightest of adjustments to their fixed menu (e.g. adding avocado to boiled eggs on toast).I guess we'll just go to the 500 or so other Sydney cafes that make an effort to accommodate everyone.
freddy ferreira: Loved their cakes….. I will go back again. I want to buy the traveling cake for my birthday !
Isabel Gomez: Incredible pastries
J P: The best butter croissant I've had in Sydney — perhaps the best I've had in all of Australia. But $8.50? That's a bit hard to stomach. Anything north of $6 feels like an insult, to be honest.

Banksia Bakehouse: what do users think?
Tracy Mok: Nice pastry. Flakey pie pastry 👍 Good pies. The swirl .. umm.. like the chestnut on the top but not so sure about the Mandarin flavour inside.
Johnny (jman): Banksia is a very very dangerous place, once you try there desserts and patisserie it becomes an addiction to keep going back. Not only are they super delicious, you’re going to become super broke as well. Banksia bakery originally started out in Banksia and now they have opened their second shop at Grosvenor Place which is between Wynyard and Circular Quay. My first impressions of Banksia is their amazing cake display, they sell an array of cakes from small to large, macarons of different flavours, lots of delicious desserts, scones and a huge selection of bakery goods for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. There’s just too much to try and that’s why it will make you go back again and again. Banksia sell the grounds coffee, but the coffee isn’t great so if your a picky coffee person go to your favourite place instead, after all it’s a bakery they don’t specialise in coffee. Their packaging is very nice as well using quality materials, catchy colours and large fonts on takeaway bags, cake boxes and loyalty coffee cards. There cakes, desserts, bakery foods are not cheap. To give you an approximate idea, buy any dessert or baked product plus a coffee, you’re already walking out the door spending almost $20. If you go there daily that’s 100 bucks!Overall Banksia has developed their brand as well as reputation. Their patisserie and desserts is a joy to eat and I guess worthy of the price.Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Price ⭐️⭐️⭐️Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
claire: This is literally so good! Mushroom danish was so tasty!
Eleonora Contini: The cream danish was good, the swirl was average (maybe if served warm it would’ve been more enjoyable), and the coffee is alright. It’s ok to sit here but it’s a business district, so it’s kind of quiet. Entrance is on Essex Street.
suzi3352: Delicious scones , will come back to try the other pastries
Supaphon Surinruk: ขนมอร่อยมากๆ กาแฟดีค่ะ
SEKAI: perfect😍🍰
Dee: Came across this place on Insta, had to give it a try.It was amazing and definitely didn’t disappoint, absolutely loved it.Coffee was lovely also
Vivian: That matcha cheese cake 🏻 🏻 🏻
Navin R: The almond croissants are great, brownies are okay, and the coffee is not bad. It’s a nice place to sit especially with the way it opens out to the fountains. We initially thought it was closed when approaching from Essex street (see pic) but it’s not.
Tracey Huang: Yum and reasonable price! Try it out~
Fit N Fearless By Nicola: Almond crossaint to die for. One of the best I have had, and I don’t think I could find a cinnamon scroll that will ever top the one I got here
Nathanan J: Delicious and good service
flip side: Delicious snacks, fresh ingredients and rich taste. The chai tea latte was amazing. Great service as well.
Ng Wan yin: We tried smoked mushroom potatos danish and chocolate caramel danish. Both were very delicious, especially the chocolate caramel danish👍👍👍 Price was very reasonable. We would definitely recommed this to others!
juana yuet-mene: Délicieuses pâtisseries!j ai adoré!
Jeremy Grunfeld: Got a chocolate chip cookie warmed up and it was one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten. Was certain I was just going to have a few bites, next second the entire thing was gone. Highly recommend!
Linh Nguyen: I normally go here every fortnight to bring back one of their seasonal/month specials for my significant other. Every time she's had a blast trying something new and different never being disappointed.Decided to go here for break the other day, nothing beats having their stuff fresh! I'd definitely recommend the pie here, it's nothing short of amazing.
paolo ro: Best danish and croix ever ! Well done
Alex Chen: Pastry is baked onsite and not from a distribution centre! The fig Danish was refreshing and well balanced.Pastry crispy, buttery and well layered.
Nydia L: So yummy! The pastries, cakes, pies are fresh baked in house. I am not a pie person, but I like their pies!Ube coconut sago cube is a must try!

Pioik Bakery: what do users think?
Dino Sugirun: Tried once and love their product. I was a bit confused about bakery short opening hour, 7-11 am only. And the fact they do not sell coffee to company their beautiful pastry. The price is definitely not cheap but still reasonable. We bought plain croissant and chocolate croissant for 16 dollar.
President Oxford: $ 15.50 Sourdough loaf lacked the interest & complexity of Iggy's.Too dear , underwhelming.
Bojan Kovacevic: Wow, just wow. Get there early and be hungry. You’ll thank yourself and you’ll keep coming back for more and more goodies.
Sarah Alali: There is nothing better than the smell of hot baked goods early in the morning. 😋 but seeing this, amazing window display of @pioikbakery is like a work of art.i woke up at 7:30 on a Saturday morning to get to Pyrmont, so I can get my hands on these beauties, and they did not disappoint. 😁I like to try few things also love to share my pastries. So, I got the savoury danish (Halloumi, Labneh, Za'atar, topped with Honey, Sea Salt) this was fantastic. It had all the ingredient that most Syrians grew up eating in the morning. It was nostalgic and delicious, so soft and light.Charcoal @sift_produce yellow nectarine 🍑pistachio and raspberry sweet danish was super light and refreshing. The pastry layers in their viennoiserie are so sharp and well-defined and so crisp, so buttery and full of butter flavour without feeling weighed down by butter. And of course the classic plain croissant 🥐you may say it’s the basic option, but that’s not true. If You want to know how good the bakery is you gotta try their plain croissant. After having so many pastries and trying almost all the top rated bakeries in Sydney. I can tell and confirm @pioikbakery have the best croissant’s in Sydney.I’ve bought this croissant at nine in the morning, and I had it at 5 pm, and it was crunchy, flaky and buttery as if it was still fresh out of the oven and that is so impressive. The crispy outer with a light fluffy inside. So good you can eat them without anything added. Most places I visit the pastries taste good when fresh, but then taste dry and old couple of hours later through the day, but @pioikbakery was still super crunchy, and I enjoyed it so much. 10/10I am so excited to go back as they change up their offerings all the time.
N Huynh: Great food. Not great service. Visited twice and service on both occasions felt self entitled by the thin, black hair and short lady. Baked goods are good though so if you disregard the service, its fine to come back. I had lime croissant$12.5, chocolate almond croissant $9.5 and custard tart (this one was good!) $7.5
Raymond Feng: Great bakery, if you like bread and you are in the area then you got to try it out. Slightly pricy but it’s pyrmont.
Sunnie: Best almond croissant in Sydney
白成哲: Their panettone is quite pricey but definitely a lot better than the ones you get from a supermarket. I will buy again.
Lilian N L: Love the pastries and focaccia here! Will be back for the sourdough for sure.
Michael Mikic: Got some pastries here Saturday and Saturday magnificent. Best in Sydney. Will be back next time in town.
THE MAN WITH THE HELMET: Why only 7-11am?
Houda Harb: I had to jump on and drop a note of thanks and appreciation to Rose & the lovely team at this exquisite little bakery in Pyrmont. I arrived yesterday after the bakery had closed. Very graciously, Rose opened the door to assist me, indicating they close at 11am. Not being from the area, and being a first time visitor to this bakery I’d heard and read so much about, the excitement that I’d found them must have been visible. Rose was all smiles & so incredibly welcoming, even stopping me as I was walking away, to hand me a loaf of their beautiful sour dough bread to take & try. When you put so much love into your work & you take that much pride in it, you want nothing more than for everyone to experience abit of it like Rose clearly wanted me to. The bread was the best I have ever had. I look forward to going back again and again. This is a wonderful family running a great business and you can’t but admire them & respect them. My sincere thanks & I wish you all the very best. Please visit them, try their products & meet these lovely owners.
Lou Shackleton: Long time favourite... has been a while. Still got it!!
Stephen Kim: Since covid this place has never quite recovered. Take away only, no espresso coffee, quite rude service, limited opening hours. Its essentially just a bakery now... Bread is good though. Hopefully they can bounce back to what they used to be.
Mark Shepherd: This used to be one of my favourite pastry places in Sydney however I feel that the quality over re ent visits has dropped significantly. My latest experience being a chocolate almond croissant that was so tough I stopped trying to eat it after the first bite. Unfortunately won’t be in any hurry to go back.
JI J: Best almond croissants 👍👍👍
Rejane F: Bread is amazing as they bake it in house however $17 for a loaf is very overpriced. I also tried the toast and they charged an extra $3 for butter.... Not worth it
Mia Coding_Girl: Almond croissant: all the croissant I had in the past are fake. Frangipane fill me up easily.Focaccia: (without topping or filling) I had it the second day, toasted. Nice but not as special as people said. Would give it another go after Xmas.
Rohin Shah: Strong, strong croissant. Some of the best I've had in Australia.
Matt.D Ron: Overpriced, unwelcoming and rude customer service
Sandra Szoke: I've been looking to come this place for a long time now, but due to the short opening time I wasn't able to. Today, I finally made it to see a door 1 hour before 11am showing it's CLOSED.There was no sign or update on web/instagram either. Such a disappointment..

Divya B: I always bake my son’s birthday cake and this time when we decided to order from Flavours Inn, I was a bit worried initially not knowing how they would do it as I wanted a special customised cake. But once I approached them with my idea, Mr.Tajinder and all the Flavours Inn team understood my requirements quite well and did a wonderful job. I am happy that I took the best decision to go with them. The eggless rainbow mud cake was decently priced, looked fantastic, was soft, fresh and delicious. My son, all the kids and guests.. all of us loved the cake. And most importantly how they treat their customer is amazing. Mr. Tajinder patiently listened to me, have put a sincere effort to understand what I want, gave honest suggestions and answered all my queries in calls and messages.Kudos to the whole team. Can’t praise them enough. They value their work and they value their customer.Thank you so much Flavours Inn for being a beautiful and memorable part of my son’s 5th birthday.I am thoroughly impressed with the cake and the hospitality.I highly recommend them.
J: Always amazing quality and service. Thanks Sachin for always being so helpful!
Anupama Allam: I have ordered a butter cream two tier minnie mouse theme cake and it was delivered to the perfection. It looked very similar to a fondant cake although the owner told me to keep in mind that the finish won't be equivalent to a fondant cake. He sets realistic expectations instead of over promising. I am very happy with the cake flavour too and it was baked just right. All the guests at the birthday party loved the cake. The pricing of the cake is also economical, I have received much higher quotes elsewhere for the same cake. Overall I am happy with the final product and yes I would buy cakes from this store again and again.
Rajani Muralidharan: I had ordered a Baby shower cake with chocolate mud flavour and it was absolutely amazing. It was moist and tasty..all our guests loved it. The cake looked very beautiful and perfectly matching to the design I sent. They even suggested few things to reduce the cake cost and it really helped. I would definitely recommend Flavours inn Merrylands. I have already placed my next order. Thank you Flavours inn.
Gurnoor Virk: Very good cake plz try 👌👌👌👌👌👌

Goose Bakery: what do users think?
Dave: Awesome bakery that also does great coffee. Just don't sit out front in the sun, that's my spot!
Nelly: Great Danish, good pain au chocolat. Tasty bread. A little bit disappointed with the croissant, could have a bit more flavor, but got high expectations as a frenchy 😅.
coops: My local, great sourdough
Daisy B: Tastes the same as Coles Bakery products but twice the price
Glenda Anderson: Almond cappuccino was delicious and the perfect temperature. I went for the almond croissant and it did not disappoint. So so tasty. Good size flaky outside and the filling with cherry was the perfect amount of sweetness. Friendly efficient staff. Highly recommend will be back!
Cooper Wilson: Super friendly staff and their croissants are amazing! Love their sourdough too!
Min: Crunchy croissant with lovely layers, salami&cheese baguette has good balance. Coffee was also fair despite that I had got some choc powder on top of my latte. Friendly staff. Would like to visit again and hopefully I can try the almond croissant which was sold out today.
Mirry L: Best Decaf in Forest Lodge. Also really reasonably priced ♥️
Rebecca Harb: Best hot cross buns in Sydney
William Cowan: You won't be disappointed.
Mark Butler: Excellent coffee, pastries and fresh bread. The coffee is from The Little Marionette and the Barista seemed very quick. Staff are super friendly. The Forrest Lodge Village area is small but with a few nice shops like Goose Bakery. Crossaints are particularly good as usually the ones at standard Cafes taste funny these days.
Sangchan Yoo:
Mark Fintelmann: As a German I can recommend
David Belau: The olive sourdough is the best bread I've ever had in my life!Absolutely divine!!! Legitimate perfection 👌12/10 would recommend
Cassie James: The best sourdough I've ever had. Baked to perfection.
Daniel Reilly: Awesome coffee and treats highly recommended!
Luis Luis: Unpredictable when they are open or want to open.
Paolo B: Great range of baked treats and good coffee. Rhubarb danish was really nicely done - rhubarb still a little tart and pastry was crunchy and flaky.
David Spanola: delicious mushroom plie
Melissa Angeles: Coffee was ok and so too the egg brioche.I had the cinnamon scroll later in the afternoon. It was yum.
Karolina Konieczna: Lovely service, wonderful pastry. Their apricot danish is a masterpiece
