The Blind Barrel: what do users think?
Ben Summerhayes: Visited this amazing bar and grill while visiting on a day trip to Manley beach and this place was absolutely impressive! The food was to die for! We had the Mac and cheese and chilli con carne for entree . Best Mac and cheese we have ever had! The chilli con carne spicy and hot 🔥 but very very delicious! Then our mains arrived . The fillet Mingon cooked to perfection served with an amazing black pepper sauce and I had the maple infused ribs and they just melted in your mouth ! The flavour and texture was perfect !! This place would have to have been one of the best places we have visited while in Sydney and highly impressive! Thanks so much !!
Fernanda Gonzalez: The couple who own this place are lovely. Indian family and lovely older couple. But their son who manage the place doesn’t have good manners to treat people
Charles Horton: A worker named Dara made by experience 10x better with his patience and respectfulness. He was kind enough to walk me through the menu and help me order. Would definitely go again if this worker was here. Great energy and I could tell he was happy to work there.
Henry Wallace: I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Blind Barrel, and let me tell you, it was an experience like no other. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warmest of welcomes from the owner, Sav. If you ever need a pick-me-up, just go see Sav. His warm energy alone could power a small city. Now, onto the food and drinks. I don't know what kind of magic is happening in the kitchen, but these burgers were out of this world. I had the Classic with Cheese, and let me tell you, it was a thing of beauty. The patty was juicy, the cheese was melty, and the bun was perfectly toasted. I also had a cocktail (or two), and they were expertly crafted with just the right balance of flavors. The Blind Barrel has a cozy and intimate vibe that makes you feel like you're hanging out in a southern whiskey bar.In summary, if you're in Manly and you're looking for delicious food, expertly crafted cocktails, and a good time, go to The Blind Barrel and ask for Sav. You won't regret it.
EgyptianKing: High quality steak and high quality service! Defs recommend. Swing by!
Chris Abbott: Been here on a few occasions since it opened. Was back in Manly for the week working and we went here for my birthday dinner, Food was great and the service was excellent. #LetsGuide #manlybeach #lovemanly #sydneyfood #australia
robbie czajka: Not many places do chowder. This was good
Julieta Rottemberg: I was disappointed by the value for money at this restaurant. The burgers, which cost over 20 AUD, didn't come with any chips, making the meal feel overpriced. On top of that, I found the burgers to be underwhelming and lacking in flavor. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place as there are better options out there for a more satisfying meal.
Ben Sakellis: The steak and cocktails were delicious. Has a really nice atmosphere, and the service is spot on for this type of restaurant. Will definitely go againFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Moreen Ali: Food was tasty but portion was small - more like a kids meal for an adult so was left half hungry. Suggest to review your portion sizes ! Thanks !
Sylke Roelands: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Carol Clark: Great takeaway grilled fish, chips and salad - much better than the fish and chip shop right next door! Price is comparable as well. So nice to sit in the restaurant and have a glass of wine while waiting for the freshly cooked order - none of this standing for more than 30 minutes on a crowded footpath!
Bai Yi Xu: very bad experience.I order half pork rib $48.not much meat.very small component.never go again.
Steve Jaques: Somehow my dog walks always include this pit-stop. Regular changes to the chalkboard beer list always has something new. Bar food has some great nibbles. My go to is Chili Com Carne. Best small bar in Manly? Surely
Brian Locke: My beer was served in a not so clean glass. The burger was undercooked and the lettuce on the burger was turning brown along the edge. On top of that, they had added an extra burger to my bill. Luckily I noticed before paying!Food: 5/2|Service: 5/1|Atmosphere: 5/2 …More
Abhinandan Srinivas: Recommended dishes Chicken BurgerMore
Alex Rebolledo: Food: 5/1|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/3More
Mario Mankowski: Great location and very good food
Noor Jwad: The Blind Barrel has become our lunch spot at Manly! And everytime we lunch here, the food is great!Honest, delicious food and nice vibes..I love the jalapeño poppers, the best we’ve had..I tried the chilli corn carne today.. and it’s sooo yummyBurgers are very good too!But I think the best things here are from the bar snack menu!
Thao Le: Purchased takeout of two fish n chips, over priced and received broken small pieces of grilled barramundi. Dry and tiny portions of fish. Supposed to come with salad, none placed in our order. What a disappointment. Blind Barrel, more like blind sided. Consider another place for your take out. For $39 for fish n chips! We don’t mind paying but we do mind receiving mediocre food for what we’ve paid.
Sarah Lee: We where in Sydney on holiday and popped over to manley looking for somewhere for dinner and stumbled across this place, great food, friendly staff and a good atmosphere, would highly recommend 👌Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Bron Woolbank: Had birthday drinks here and it’s one of my favourite places in the shire. It offers a unique, ambient & quaint hidden nook in the heart of Cronulla. You wind have trouble finding a drink here with all different types of spirits, cocktails & beers! My top recommendation is the apple martini or the whisky apples soooo yum and go down a treat. The food also is reasonably priced but I haven’t eaten it before so cannot say about the quality. I’ve been a few times now and will keep coming back for the great service and yummy cocktails to try!
Rhys Herbert: Best bar in Cronulla, nothing else comes close.
Alex: Great atmosphere... Good crowd... Great brews
Cameron Laing: Best and only real bar left in Cronulla at the moment. Always a great time, and the top area is a great addition!
Charlotte AssadPour: Cool vibe, friendly staff, delicious food :)Would definitely recommend. We came in for the $10 burger special on Thursday but will definitely come back for a drink on the weekend
Sally Miles: It’s semi-hidden but not really - seems to be going for a bit of an ‘accessible speakeasy’ vibe, if you will. There are a few booths up the back & some bar stool seating. There are a few original cocktails, but they can do classics as well.Definitely get the jalapeño poppers!
Samita Pokhrel: So good experience. 👍👍👍
Brook Egan: Best place in Cronulla, great food and drinks. And friendly staff
Joel B: Great spot in Cronulla! Loved the vibe and the food matched it well. Plenty of choices for drinks and the bar staff seemed pretty knowledgeable about their stock.
Mia Feghali: The guys at The Blind Bear were so lovely, exceeding expectations all night. As well as a relaxed atmosphere, the $10 Thursday Night Burgers were a hit. Would recommend for a laid back dinner and drinks.
Alex SMP: Good variety of beer and drinks for a decent price. Music is way too loud for how the place is aesthetically designed, you’d expect to be able to talk to the people you’re with without yelling
BLANCHE YVETTE FAULDS PACKER: Great cocktails
Peter Trevena: Nice place with atmosphere, for a late drink!
ExploreSydney Review: Nice hidden bar.
Rebecca O'Kane: The owner of this place is pretty hot
Helena Tahmizian: Cozy cute bar with a good selection of alcohol. The bar tenders are also quite knowledgeable about their liquor. Overall nice pleasant ambience.
Paul lHealy: Great atmosphere, cosy and welcoming,Great range of cocktails
Riley Ellem: Great atmosphere
james ryrie: home away from home
Paige Tomkins: Great cocktails, friendly service & a good atmosphere, love this hidden gem 👏🏽😍

Mr. Wong: what do users think?
Peter Barrie: I love Merivale venues - they never disappoint. That said, Mr Wong is a bit theme park for me. Food is good, not amazing. Service is awesome, JH has nailed this on an experiential level. Would I go back? Yes, 💯Food: 5/4|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/4 …More
Michael Sefton: LOVE this place. Food, staff , and room are awesome....the menu is something else and every dish is fantastic. Can not get enough of Mr Wongs even though its a Merrivale!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Sebastian Cuevas: Mcwyn was the nicest host. Excellent service 🤩
Paras Gathani: Mcwyn was a really welcoming and friendly host, loved it here 🔥🔥
Jenson Matron: An interesting take on Asian fusion food. Worth a visit.
Ret Raj: I bet it's good. Looked at the menu and can't afford to go here. But recreated some dishes at home from the photos and videos. They were good. 😀Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Master Cheeks: I am quite impressed with the Cantonese food hereEspecially the tooth fish and the hot and sour soup. Simple dishes but I would discribe those dishes as a feeling of normal expectation but with a surprisingly refreshing finish.I can also taste just a hint of it on the sauce that came with the fresh oysters. Can't get enough of it. That creative flair in not just the ingredients used but also the subtle combination towards a perfected taste. The peking duck with the thick plum sauce lathered unto the pancake. Divine. The wine and liquor menu is extensive with a great selection of cocktails. Will be back again and also looking forward to the afternoon dim sum menu!
Mily Caro: One of my all time favourite restaurants! The restaurant is very stylish and sophisticated! The food was so delicious, you wouldn’t be able to forget it. And the staff were very kind and helpful. Such a wonderful experience dining in with them.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Twice Cooked Angus Beef Short Rib with Shandong Sauce, Mango Pudding with Lychee Granita, Mr Wong Special Fried Rice …More
Kelly Nicolas: Great place, loved their take on dimsum. Got both steamed and fried and i would reco both. Such a standout. The pig ears were also good. The sommelier at our table knew so much & helped us out wellFood: 5/5|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Pauline McGushin: Kid-friendliness: I’d like to mention the waitress RIBA who was not only very professional and friendly but went all out to be kind about my grandchildren at the 5:45 sitting.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Alexandra Middleton: We visited Mr Wongs today after having a great experience at Totti's. The food, service and atmosphere were excellent. But outside of the dim sum, the food was basically tasteless. There was also barely any actual chicken you could eat in the crispy chicken dish, the vegetarian fried rice was basically rice that was fried, the garlic prawns were rubbery and the salt and pepper tofu was essentially plain tofu fried (I know tofu doesn't have a lot of flavour, but this no flavour was next level). I always check reviews before booking and know Mr Wongs has plenty of good ones on here so maybe we caught them on an off day?! Who knows. Absolutely not worth the expensive bill at the end of it all.
Eakkapon Pakdee: Food is yummy and good quality! We went there at noon, so it was a little bit busy but it wasn’t long to get the table!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Australialand_valentina: Worth a visit. An extremely good combination of Food, atmosphere and service. The staff is very professional, friendly, I always feel welcome. Hope to go back soon .Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mr Wong Special Fried Rice …More
Mohammed Shahmat Ali: Everything tasted fantastic! We enjoyed the King crab fried rice, the roast duck and the lamb cutlets a lot. The sweet corn with salted egg yolk was a really interesting and memorable dish. The portions were massive so we ended up over ordering. I feel the restaurant should inform the customers more about these things, especially when it's obvious we were ordering too much. Definitely go here with big groups so you can share the wonderful food!
Zrin t: Food was amazing, super flavourful and portions were huge! Favourite things were the corn with salted egg yolk, crab fried rice and the fried ice cream in caramel. To die for!!
Rudhmila Amin: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Deep Fried Ice Cream with Butterscotch SauceMore
Shirley Douglas: Food and service exemplary. Couldn't fault either. Mr Wongs was recommended to me and I have no hesitation in recommending this establishment to anyone visiting or living in Sydney. To be full at 6pm on a Tuesday night is testament to how good it is.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mr Wong Special Fried Rice, Steamed Dim Sum …More
Leanne Collins: We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Mr. Wongs. The food was amazing, the atmosphere great, even to its laneway entrance. However, it was our waitress who was amazing and guided us so professionally through our choices and made our night. She was efficient and lovely and cared we got the choices right for us. Thank you for making our city staycation even better. ( The duck was amazing)
Peter Bennett: Wonderful dining experience at Mr. Wong , fantastic service and extremely helpful staff and Somalier.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Yanika Yaz: 10 out of 10
adriana hawkins: I bought my friend a voucher here but there appears to have been some kind of fraud that went down as he was unable to redeem it. Very disappointing
Jared Zak: Failed to honour a gift voucher my staff bought me for Christmas. Staff were rude and unhelpful when I tried to address the issue, where I was effectively accused of fraud - whereas it was clear if there was any fraud it was either by their staff or through poor systems. The original was held by me at all times and presented at the end of the meal - and I was told the only way to claim was through an original. Embarrassing for all concerned.
Lis: Monopole is the perfect place to meet up with friends after work. We just love the happy hour menu and French champagne. The service is consistently excellent and we never feel rushed. Our favourite is the Sydney rock oysters and chicken liver parfait. Happy hour is available Wednesday to Friday from 4-5pm 👍
Alan Hsiao: A little pricey but still one of my favourites around Sydney. Fantastic wine list and food made to share, what more can you ask for.Food: 5/4|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/4 …More
박사라: Not sure if I ordered all the wrong dishes but my experience was terrible. Grilled baby corn, prawn sandwich, the mains and the roe crumpet were bland and uninteresting. It felt so overpriced. The dishes weren't average they were actually really bad.
Ravi Carothers: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Eddy Jin: Still water tastes pretting amazing here
Daniel Nicotra: Epic food, and great location. Atmos is cool as long as you enjoy listening to the tunes and chat coming in from Aust sq on a Friday.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/4 …More

Ian Jansen: Wine was nice, food was average at best. Tiny portions.
Esther Lee: I booked a table of 8 for 8.30pm and was seated at 8.45pm. When I asked the table would be ready at 8.29pm, the staff said it's not 8.30pm yet (really? It was 8.29pm!) and it will be ready soon. She was abrupt and unapologetic, and felt like we were being shut down by just asking when our table would be ready. We eventually got seated at 8.45pm without a single apology.Food was alright but the service throughout our dinner was pretty poor and felt very rushed with the waitress almost smashing our wine glass when pouring the wine.If the restaurant expects their customers to arrive on time, I expect my table to be ready on time. If the previous customers arrived late or are taking a while, that is not my issue and that is on the restaurant to rush them so the table is ready by 8.30pm.OR at least apologise for 15min wait time?
Joshua Joynes: The only thing better than the incredible food - which included the perfect amount of variety - was the service! Our waitress was so helpful and made our night so special can’t wait to be back!
Ashwini Murlikrishnamurthy: The service and the menu were amazing. Straight from the wine selections to the food, the choices albeit limited for vegetarians, were amazing.Their dessert choices were simply exceptional!!
R R: Whilst the food here was decent (should add: small portions), the service was far from it. We found the staff to be inattentive albeit the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time we dined. Furthermore, our overall dining experience felt rather transactional - lacked authenticity. We won’t be back, unfortunately.
Wendy: Although on the pricier side, Monopole is perfect for a girls or date night. Conveniently located near Wynyard station, it was easy to get to after work. The wait staff were professionally welcoming, I was quickly shown to my table on arrival and my umbrella put away for me by the door. The food was delicious and prepared with care, there was nothing to fault. I also enjoyed the great selection of wine and cocktails. I’d suggest sharing several plates to taste the full variety of their menu. Thanks for showing us a great time, monopole!

Luigi Fassio: All the food was ok, then we order the grilled tuna.... Probably they put half of the whole sea salt in that poor tuna slice, was so salty that was inedible. I asked for some mayo to try to mitigate, after receiving it I can ear the weitress doing a slightly racist comment about me using the mayo on the fish. You are invited to come in Italy, I will show you how to cook the tuna, don't need salt ;) strongly suggest to avoid, bad service, bad person and overrated for cost-quality.

H osh: We came for our anniversary and were spoilt beyond belief. Love this place, every time we come we are surprised to find another killer dish. The salad was out of this world, seriously, the salad!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
David Skeoch: Food was amazing but all a little overpriced. I bought an expensive bottle of wine which after opening in my presence and pouring two glasses, the waitress took it away to put on ice and I saw her pour a taste from the bottle for herself and her manager. I probably would have agreeable to that if I’d been asked but I wasn’t so no tip from me.
Yu Pang: Very bad experience, unprofessional handling, even though it was an M9+ steak. I paid $90 for a steak that looked like this. Dining is highly discouraged.
Trick S: Menu is ever changing so when it has something you like it's definitely a 5 star night.Food: 5/4|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Oliver Lynch: First and foremost the potato bread is not a good dish, A, the bread is a tiny portion (just the size of an ordinary coles roll…) and B, the trout roe, dashi & kefir cream that is served alongside the roll is not a great combination with the bread and they’re charging $25 for that dish solely because of that… The best wood fired bread I’ve ever had was at Nomad and it was only $15 as it should be… Now onto the positive aspects of Ester; Ricotta Gnudi was great however I felt as though it could’ve been a tad more flavoursome (the tomatoes pack all the punch). The Morton Bay bug was perfect, great presentation. The squid ink dumplings were unique however weren’t an amazing dish. Lastly, the crepe brûlée was amazing however there could’ve been a bit less of the lemon sauce as it was rather strong.
Jessmina sab: Best food I’ve had in last 14 years in Sydney ! Every single dish is Devine even bread.. we’ve order 3 rounds of potato bread ..
케리: 산티아고 순례길 영양만점보강에 필요한 맛집이다.12/5/2024
Keyi Zhang: Had a perfect night here on our anniversary!Every dish in this meal was carefully crafted, with not a single one feeling unnecessary. The oysters were incredibly fresh and flavorful, with no need for added seasoning. The sweet shrimp paired perfectly with the sauce and crispy pizza, creating a delightful explosion of flavor in every bite.Although the steak took a while to arrive, the wait was well worth it, as each tender and juicy bite was simply divine. And of course, no meal is complete without a refreshing salad to cleanse the palate.Overall, this dining experience was a true feast for the senses, and I would highly recommend it to any food lover.
Edwin Tay: It was a great experience and the good food was lovely. Expect to pay ~100-150 per head, but certainly worth it.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5Recommended dishes Blood Sausage Sandwich, Beef Tartare, Pickled Cucumber Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options Paid street parking …More

That includes a tasting plate with 4 bite-sized experiences. 2 of them I liked very much, simply delicious. The sweet corn soup was good. And one of the options was very salty for my taste.Talking about salt, I would like to suggest to the chef to keep a little bit of salt at the table to enhance the flavours of the three types of olive oils on the table. The experience is great, although for the first and third olive oil option the salt bring more the fruitness of the third oil and balance better the lemon olive oil.Regarding the dish, I can say is one of the best pasta dishes I've had in Sydney. I had the blond duck bolognese and was perfect in every bite. Be aware, the dish has nothing even close to a traditional bolognese. Is a white sauce base dish. But was amazing. Well balanced and executed. My wife had the ravioli, and was perfect as well. But my favourite was the duck.We had the merengue dessert, such well thought dish. Where we got an entree for the dessert, that was a new thing for me, and then the dessert well balanced with all elements right. Sweet, acidity, crunchy.About the wine service, was very good with attention to detail. Nothing to complain about it.At the end we got nice chocolate balls 😋. That was a surprise.Probably we will go back for the 6 course menu, but the 2 course menu already made my night.Wheelchair accessibility: Can use the lift from the gallery.
Anita H: Coming from Italy went here to try some Italian food however I believe this is more like Aussie/Italian food rather than authentic Italian food. The staff are really friendly and professional and the food was quite good. Just a bit too salty for our taste but the flavours were interesting. The vibe was good too.Overall a nice romantic experience.Worth a try
John Kuo: Had the vegetarian six course tasting menu with matching wines as part of the tasting menu, with matching wine pairings. Michelle Griffin: Only 2nd time I have been here & I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing & the service is great & all with a dimly- lit ambience, which I love. I don't like brightly lit restaurants. The Sommelier who served us was awesome at pairing a wine with our different courses. Thank you Sir Anthony🙏(I thought he looked like a young Anthony Hopkins).I will 100% be back on a regular basis. It was actually my b'day & I couldn't have gone to a better place.

Hev: This was our first and last time visiting Pendolino.4 of us had the Pre-Theatre Early Dinner on Saturday. The food was great but unfortunately, the service was underwhelming and unpleasant. When we declined the upselling/offer of a glass of sparkling (as we had already decided to order other drinks) the response from the waiter was abrasive and condescending. As meals were arriving at another table close by, the waitress was obviously annoyed that they weren’t ready and wasn’t discreet when saying something to other staff.Overall, the service was lacking professionalism and spoiled our experience.
wizlb: My wife and I went to Pendolino, for our 20th wedding anniversary, and the food was outstanding, the service was impeccable. There was one small mistake, but it was corrected before we left, and overall I rate our evening at 9 1/2 score out of 10…
Steph Di Val: Really lovely time was had.Big shout outs to the Charcoal Foccacia and Michael who waited on us.If you have the time and $$ to invest in doing the 6 Course Degustation AND wine pairing, it's wholeheartedly worth it.Food and wine both delicious. Palate cleanser at the end was sharp and did the trick. Was appreciative of swapping out one dish for another, despite it being a set menu. The only things I could maybe nitpick were that the courses felt like they came out a little too quickly, especially given there was wine to finish with each one and the plates while nice looking don't really let you cutlery lean on it. Cutlery kept sliding onto the plate and into the food. Not the end of the world, just a little messy.
Sheraden Sharma: My husband and I shared our first wedding anniversary here, the service was exceptional and the food was fantastic. I have been here a few times and keep coming back! Sesame Sprinkles: Pendolino is an Italian restaurant, which serves food in either 3-, 4- or 6-course menus. Upon request, they provide an extra menu for vegans. For each course, you can choose from a couple of options, so you have several options (similar to the "regular" menu).Considering the fact that the prices here are quite high (starting at 140$ per person for the 3 course menu), you should be able to expect a proper fine dining experience. In terms of food, however, it was just okay. I clearly preferred some dishes over other dishes. Compared to the food my non-vegan friends had, some vegan dishes seemed a bit lacking (as if they had simply removed the non-vegan component). At other times, the plating was a bit "questionable".But staff was lovely and service was very good. There were several waiters and waitresses providing us with information about food and drinks, and even supplied us with extra treats on the house. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor inside a shopping mall. The atmosphere is elegant and old-fashioned: Individual tables, wooden furntiure and white table cloth. Booking a table in advance is required.Vegetarian options: vegan menu available

Leni #: 6 of us went to dinner. The service was impeccable with friendly staff and service. The food was well presented and even though it was fine dining a lot of work went into each dish. Compliments to the chef. If I needed to find something about this restaurant would be the price but overall an amazing night. Just an apology for leaving late, im sure the staff warned to go home but no one complained. And a huge thank you to the chefs who gave up complementary potatoes and salad. By the end of the night we were so full. Thank you to the chefs and staff for a memorable night.

Guy Soper: This was the worst restaurant ive ever experienced. Only got half of what was ordered off the menu .Everything was more french cuisine than Italian in ridiculously small portions . I got something in a cup of olive oil with corn kernels at the bottom , they were stuck so the owner approached me and asked if i would like a little spoon like the mice and rats use ! I thought what a thing to say to a customer how rude and insulting .My main corse i ordered the kingfish .What i got was something that looked like a clear prawn chip with 2 tea spoons of pecks paste and some garnish .Walked out feeling insulted and ripped off .Dietary restrictions: Good if your not hungry and want to spend a lot of money while being insulted .Nothing like Italian food !
Amber Yoo: Everything was so salty, not worth the price.

Rita Nabeiro: The place is beautiful and trendy, with nice view over the harbor. nonetheless it was the first place in many years, travels and places were I’ve been where a restaurant asks for my credit card at the entrance and keeps it for the whole time I stayed in the bar until I had to pay to leave. When asked they said it was a normal procedure. This was unusual and since we were there the day before ( well dressed) I can only assume that this was due to discrimination.Second negative aspect. Fast to seat. Slow to attend and serve. So, I leave this comments to the manager hopping that they pay more attention to this kind os treatment to their customers in the future.
shells J: The food is amazing and the staff the same a must visit
Tommy Kors: Nice atmosphere
Madison Laine: Would give the house bar a 3.5. Food was just average and music was too loud to talk, drinks were good, nothing special. Would give the other venues a try though.

M V: L'architecture de cette construction est très particulière mais elle n'est pas agressive. Bien au contraire. D'ailleurs, il y a un bar très fréquenté.
Alena Maher: The food is nice but expensive for serving sizes and we waited an hour for our food, which was brought out one at a time, even though the place was almost empty when we ordered and most of our orders were simple rice bowls

Skip Ford: We had our 25th wedding anniversary dinner with overseas guests (they had chosen chiswick as one of their must visit venues while in Sydney for 4 days!) We could only get an 8.30pm booking as nothing else was available. After getting our guests on arrival and sitting they took a wine order and not 5 minutes later the share menu food started arriving, without a great deal of explanation. It kept arriving quickly and our first course was just about finished before our first drink arrived. We asked them of they could slow down as we were feeling rushed. All the food was lovely it was only the tuna that was underwhelming. The service was efficient but not super welcoming. Dessert was amazing and we had coffee. Not long after we were told that as it is residential the premises was to be vacated by 11pm no question. We were told this 3 times in a rather firm manner. Quite disappointing for our 25th anniversary celebrations and a boll of $1500.00 ! We won't be returning I'm a hurry.

Toppi: what do users think?
Russell Charles: Not Machiavelli. Not Bar Machiavelli. A mishmash of "modern" Italian and old school Sydney Italian. Cold cuts are excellent as usual. Everything else on the menu is ordinary as of May 2023. Went there based on the menu on the internet. What we saw was like a Masterchef episode.Crumbed "king prawns" with a soy-based sauce? Over-complexity and trying a bit too hard to be modern. Get back to the classics and just refine it a touch - this is just OTT. Fusion is confusion.Check out Leo to understand what modern Italian should be like. Nespresso coffee - says it all about the venue. The only thing Toppi here are the prices. Bring back the Machiavelli menu! Service was good and interesting.
Bettina Ludowici: Excellent place for a drink after work or before going out. Unless you stay for dinner. We only had drinks and bar short eats last night. The drinks list for the Happy Hour is well curated, French bubbles and oysters is always a winning combination especially when the oysters are fresh. We stayed much longer than anticipated because sitting outside on the terrace made for a lovely evening. Highly repeatable.
Dear: Highly recommended
Kevin Fleming: For a late night place in the centre of the city - there weren't many people enjoying Toppi .. shame reallyWith a wide variety of cocktails on offer (please add French Martini) for your after-work tipple.I've had dinner (and lunch) at Toppi a few times now. Always a pleasure to dine here. The food is exquisite, the service impeccable.Best enjoyed with friends
damngoodprod: We love Toppi. Amazing gem hidden at the top of Martin Place with a great bar and an even better dining room. We love the beetroot carpaccio, and of course the always-excellent pasta. We couldn't recommend this place more - we just wish it was open on the weekend!Vegetarian options: Lots for vegetarians, including a special vegan menu!
Lisa G: Our favourite go to when in town. Moody, Lively, great service awesome staff and the food!
giulietta bisson: Cibo eccellente di ottima qualità cortesia e locale di lusso
Lucinda Koulaouzos: I enjoyed everything I ordered and was treated with care, the staff are lovely. Finally free bread on arrival! I will be coming back:) Reviews are accurate though, the prices are catered towards a corporate salary
Jonathan London: Beautiful food and great service. Will be back
Lucy Lu: Waiting time was too long. Service was bad, didn’t even ask us if everything was ok. Pasta and grilled broccoli were cold when served, due to slow service. Will not recommend to anyone.
Christo Ryan: First visit and was pleasantly surprised. This is a high quality restaurant offering excellence in cuisine. It's oriented to the corporate budget but doing what it takes to appeal to the connoisseurs of fine food.
Alistair Cook: Lovely atmosphere, great food and excellent service. The crispy skin barramundi was delicious. Yes it is expensive but no more than any other high end restaurant in the city. A wonderful restaurant.
Kevin Waldron: Nice place not friendly & expensive but ok
Nic Fulton: Largish bar and restaurant just across the road from NSW Parliament. I went to the bar and service was attentive and quick. Good selection of beers, wines and cocktails.
Crystal Manios: The restaurant was CLOSED and they wouldn’t even allow nurses striking for better patient conditions to stand with prams or elderly nurses under the external cover of the restaurant whilst it rained. I wouldn’t support a restaurant that doesn’t support nurses striking for your conditions!
Chauwanmushi: Love everything about this cosy Italian restaurant ❤️
Alexis Morier: Such a beautiful restaurant. Loved the food, the Martini's and amazing service who were very kind. The atmosphere is super aesthetic as well. Will definitely come here again :))
Chloe Waldron: My mother and I ate here before Christmas and were unfortunately disappointed with the dining experience right from the moment we walked through the door. Apparently not being part of a large corporate crowd means you get met by wait staff with basic indifference and disinterest. We waited for several minutes before being acknowledged, despite several wait staff walking past us many times. Our waiter was even more disinterested when we seemingly didn’t order enough food. The food unfortunately did not make up for the lack of service and was very expensive and lacking taste. I really wanted to like this restaurant more due to the brilliant location. But unfortunately it just needs an attitude overhaul. I hope they manage to improve this aspect in 2022.
Charlotte Stapf: One of my favourite modern Italian restaurants, the food is outstanding, the service stellar and the cocktails to die for... Expensive but worth it.
Michael Miller: Good location at the top of Martin Place that should attract mostly after work drinks I would think. COVID safe with check ins and open air.Good wine selection and nice plates to share - arancini and duck spring rolls were delicious.Continental feel, serving an interesting range of beers. You won't get standard pub selections here, but you will still have a range to choose from. There were a few details missed, which I put down to difficulty staffing - it's really hard to find people for hospitality at the moment. I wouldn't want to be to picky normally, but this place has the trappings of 5 star perfection, so that's the benchmark.Well attended but not packed - so comfortable and had a good atmosphere, although the music might have been a bit too loud too early. This is worth a try especially if it's near work, but you may want to reserve a table ahead of time.
