Kitchens On Kent: what do users think?
Adri: Celebrated my birthday at the interactive buffet.Food was sensational, service was exceptional. We had an amazing time. Thank you, special shout out to our server Ashley.
Vijay Visweswaran: Very good food. Selection could be better. Friendly staff.Food: 5/4|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 โ€ฆMore
Sen Sen: I'm an honest google review. This is my first and last dining at Kitchen on Kent at Langham. I have no good experience. The host/ waitstaff aren't friendly, not even shown positive gesture, not smile, showing no care with guests. My expectation, though, is that 5 stars dining Langham would be more amazing compared with its competitor Epicurean at Crown. Epicurean at Crown has more varieties of international dishes, modern and the staff are friendly; professional; cares with guests.Once arrived and sit on my table, I need to wait more than 15min for having a glass of water, it's a crucial letting a guest waiting for tap water and hand towel wasn't ready as well until I washed my hand at the toilet. It's unfair for guest, paying a same price on weekdays but special menu only available on Monday (Lobster), Wednesday (Beef Wellington), Friday (Chilli Crab) hence Tuesday and Thursday booking have no special menu meanwhile we paying the same price. Some small items such as straws at drink bobba tea and tea spoon for dessert were empty until I needed to use regular spoon and drink the bobba without straws.I celebrated the anniversary and thought we would receive a complimentary decorations cake (which I saw on social media), but in the end, I received nothing. My partner was a bit upset, honestly.Staff just sent me a bill to pay and said our time has ended.Overall, I just feel an average with this kitchen. I rather prefer Epicurean at Crown, pay a bit more, but worth for great dining experience.
Ben Tong: Nice placeVegetarian options: Buffet styleKid-friendliness: Yes
Steffanie Theola: Disappointed with the experience. Have high expectation with the food variety but turn out the food variety below average. The special food only be made on the specific day while we pay same price. We celebrated anniversary, saw the pastry chefs prepare it but the section waiter not even give it to us and yet we being remind to pay the bill to be kicked out.Water not being poured when we arrive need to wait 15 mins only for water.Staff not attentive enough to look after the guest. Overall bad bad experience for our special occasion for tonight.
Michelle Menjivar: Wonderful experience, great attentive service, scrumptious buffet, the best in Sydney after trying 7 different hotel buffets, highly recommended!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Dessert Station, Carvery, Sushi and Sashimi, Australian Seafood Display โ€ฆMore
Marianne: The service and atmosphere were excellent, creating a delightful dining experience. The seafood and sashimi were of high quality, and the pizzas were delicious as well. I like the idea of the option to request custom-cooked dishes such as noodles, stir-fries, grilled prawns, fish, and skewers (beef, chicken ).However, at a price of $138 per head, the buffet seemed overpriced and didn't offer an extensive selection, especially when it came to hot food options and no lobster at that time. The Asian section lacked spring rolls, fried rice, and only had a limited choice of dumplings and a couple of Asian hot dishes( I think 2 to 3 options only). In the Japanese section, there were only three sushi options and seaweed available. The Western section didn't include beef sirloin or side dishes like vegetables, mashed potatoes, or chips. Soft drinks, coffee, and tea were not included, and there was no soup on offer. I think on cheese section only one bread is available. The dessert was disappointing, with a lack of flavor or taste, although the ice cream stood out as a tasty choice. As for fruits, only strawberry, pineapple and rockmelon were available. The juice lacked taste and resembled water.Comparatively, Harvest Buffet at the Star offers a superior experience and better value for the price.
Mila T: There are so many selections from Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Indian, seafood, BBQ, and make your own Chatime. The desserts section was mouth-watering. All those little cakes are amazing. The staffsParking: Valet from the hotel or otherwise paid parking somewhere closer.
BK CHAE: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Tristan Kan: There food range was really small the quality of the food was great but the staff was friendly but was very slow at everything and they donโ€™t come and collect any of the plates and the refill of the bubble tea was very slow. But the bubble tea was okey. AND they decided NOT to put up the Mango green tea and put peach jasmine tea and absolutely zero range of Perls will I see others with a wide range of Perl AND with mango green tea.
Eduardo Dela Rosa: Family and friends have absolutely had a memorable and fantastic dinner at KOK. The food (from tonnes of choices, flavour, quality, and freshness) were all superb. It was the first time for me, my family and friends to visit this place and I can vouch for its family-friendly atmosphere and ambiance. All staff were so welcoming, friendly, and helpful - and looked after us all - particularly those with small children - throughout the dining experience.Heaps of thanks to all the staff (5:30pm 20-May-2023) who made our dining experience so memorable. Great customer service deserves great compliments from us customers. Will definitely come and visit again.
jack: Went for dinner on mothers day. Incredible service, everyone was so friendly and the food quality is up there. Great selection of seafood and cuisines. Some of the food cooked to order including a grilling station. Dessert section includes a chocolate fountain, unlimited soft drinks and even a bubble tea sections. Definitely worth a visit
Therese L: Great experience. Really fresh seafood. The variety isnt as extensive as a lot of other buffets like the epicurean but what they do have is really amazing. Very beautiful restaurant.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 โ€ฆMore

Jonathan Wong: It is my first time to Kitchens on Kent at the Langham Hotel. The buffet dinner was simply excellent, the seafood were fresh and there were a large variety of desserts. I will definitely visit again as the service from the staff and chef were superb. But overall the atmosphere in the buffet was quite relaxing and with music and aromatic fragrance it made my experience more enjoyable.Parking: There are on street parking for 2 hrs which is more than enough time for the buffet.
Maria Lu: Recommended dishes Sushi and Sashimi, Australian Seafood Display, Dessert Station, Carvery, Lobster, Robata Grill Dinner Only, Sydney Rock Oysters, Cheese Selection Dietary restrictions accommodated None of the aboveMore

Tristan Guo: It did not feel like a high end buffet restaurant, the food was just ok, many of the items were cooked to order and we had to remember to get the food ourselves after 10-15 mins as said by the โ€˜chefsโ€™. With the 2 hour seating time this way of service was terrible, with the food being average the service provided felt like a food court with different cuisines but at the food court the food is still hot and served to you not u having to remember the time and go to pick up your food. The worst part was the seafood, the oysters were not skulked properly and the lobster on the night was dry bland over cooked and simply uneatable. The prawns was ok but submerged with msg. However the sashimi bar was good, but the โ€˜chefsโ€™ donโ€™t really know how to serve, placing the sashimi on my hot foodโ€ฆ what the heck? There was minimal food that was actually prepared at the hot bar and the bubble tea was ok, there was only coke and Diet Coke at the soft drink barโ€ฆ simply disappointing. The only good was the gelato which was good. To conclude this is not a buffet restaurant. Do not come here for buffet, but the afternoon tea is good.
Teh Say Chun: Extremely disappointing. Do not let the high price ($140 p/p) fool you, the food and overall buffet experience is really bad.Summary: The buffet selection is really small. Food is low quality. Service is subpar.Seafood section:- Oysters are really small, coin sized. What a joke, normal seafood shops donโ€™t even sell oysters this small. They are also not shucked properly so almost everyone of them have shell fragments in the meat.- Bugs are not fresh enough, itโ€™s very dry and smells a little.- Prawns are good.- Crabs are very small, not worth the effort eating.- The sashimi bar is the only section that is decent, but they only have three types of fish.Hot food:- there are less than 10 dishes across all cuisines to choose from. (E.g. 2 dish in Asian section, 2 in Indian section.) Very poor selection.- All the โ€œhotโ€ foot are not hot. They are barely warm!- The meat especially pork and beefy are all chewy and rubbery.Desert:- Cheesecake taste like literal cream cheese.- Stale waffles.- Really dry chocolate cake. Feels like itโ€™s been sitting in the fridge for a long time. There are no hot beverages unless you pay extra to order. No fruits, no fried food if any kind.Service:- they do not clean your plate away while you get seconds.- fresh plates are often dirty with food marks, you have to go through to find clean onesThis place is truely shocking consider how much they charge u.

Sirocco Mascot: what do users think?
Connie Z: Nice food and welcoming staff, overall happy stay.
Margarita Gunn: Just finished breakfast at Sirocco in the Holiday Inn Mascot. The staff were so friendly and so helpful. Relaxed atmosphere and a leisurely breakfast.

Ant0n G: Great relaxing buffet breakfast restaurant on the ground floor of Holiday Inn in Mascot. Staff were attentive and friendly and the breakfast come with barista served coffee. There's a special egg station to top the service. Food options were good but kind of limited. Another highlight is the pancake machine with a giant tank of Nutella.... Continental option would be enough as the hot option can be more tempting. Sadly parking is limited and exy. The replenishment rate when food ran out and the speed to receive the coffee can be improved. I found the crispy bacon was more of dry bacon.
Linda Eriksson: This was an amazing breakfast and so lovely staff will definitley come back.
St0ry T3ller: Good choice of Breakfast buffet perfect for kids pancake machine and giant Nutella barHappy International Womenโ€™s day.
Martin Smith: Great selection for a breakfast buffet plus the eggs station is a winner and the opportunity to make own juice.
Leo Birch: Great buffet, perfect for kids, they love the pancake machine ๐Ÿ™‚
Anne-Sophie Henri: Nice buffet breakfast, good range of choice and good refill. Very nice service specially when working on Christmas day, lovely team
Gemma Sinclair: Great breakfast options - including a juice bar!
Damian McArthur: Great breakfast with awesome variety
Merlene Dunn: We went yesterday for Christmas lunch if you didn't eat prawns or oysters there was not much of a variety and did not refill not good
Julie Peck: Lovely restaurant the food was great with not too bad prices. Recommend if in the area

Renee Tremblay: 2 star because the drinks were good but some of the worst service Iโ€™ve ever experienced. Ended up getting only 1 round because we sat with empty glasses for 30 minutes with the server walking around at a snails pace seemingly clueless to whatโ€™s going on around her.
Tecla JB: Nice venue. Good for quiet after work drinks
Te Ratahi Cross: Great service and yummy food
Kimberly Einmo: I enjoyed a fabulous dinner and highly recommend the pork chop with spicy Korean BBQ sauce, which was prepared to perfection by the chef. Gaz, my waiter, was pleasant, attentive, and was able to talk about the wine selection and food pairings with knowledge and confidence. Great experience...good value.
Irene Rogerson: Unfortunately even though we booked 7 weeks in advance for a party of 4, 1 week before our reservation i get an email from the fork advising our reservation has been cancelled. I ring the restaurant and the very courteous gentlemam advises: "fully booked due to occupancy of the hotel". Finding availability at a nice restaurant in the city is a challenge a week in advance and the last minute cancellation from a restaurant is dissapointing.Won't be risking a cancelled booking with this restaurant again.
Bruce Cumming: A great cocktail bar. I enjoyed the cocktails I had very much.
Andrew S: Service was great... Food was so so... Menu and ambience did not match images on the internet... False advertising big time!! This is not a restaurant
Karan bahadur: really comfortable and nice place ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ๐Ÿ‘๏ธ

Noah Abraham: A whole breakfast buffet run by three staff running around cleaning tables ,serving foodGetting cutlery , checking people in, filling drinks. This buffet had almost 100 people in it. Besides the foodBeing empty , cold and people waiting around for food to eat,if it wasnโ€™t for the kindness , professionalism and remorse these staff members showed , there would have been massive complaints and issues brought about to all of the customers who were dissatisfied .SUPERVISOR AMIT AND HIS TEAM WERE SO AMAZINGAND WE THANK YOU FOR DOING THE BESTTHEY COULD.
David Huang: Food was ok. Big portion .
Greg T: I had the buffet breakfast, I've had worse but not by much. Selections were limited.
Kimberly Johnsen: Only a few tables available when I was there and seems quite unassuming. However, the food was excellent.
Nathanael Bard: Good food, atmosphere a bit cold and open to lobby.
Jeffrey Platts: Currently staying at Mercure Parramatta but sadly, their restaurant is still closed. On the bright side, Novotel Parramatta is just 10 minutes away, so we booked in there. The food was outstanding. The best of the entrees was the pork belly. All blended together perfectly and the Princess said a bit like a Papaya Salad.Beef very nice also. Both mains, Lamb and Barramundi excellent but those chips deserve a special mention.I dont think I've had better anywhere. Finally, can you ever go wrong with a Cream Brulee ๐Ÿค”Never ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜Perfect end to a fantastic meal delivered by Yogi and Dylan.
Kyle Turpin: On the website, a two- or three-course pre-theatre dinner was advertised in conjunction with the Riverside Theatres across the road. Upon arrival however I was disappointingly told dining at this restaurant was restricted to hotel guests, and the pre-dinner courses was only "for the functions", as a rather dispassionate manager(?) told me, offering no further explanation after I showed him what it said (or rather what it didn't say) on the website. This might be an issue for Riverside's advertising, but it was an entirely odd experience. I'd recommend not taking bookings for guests with no room number...
S J: Had breakfast there and experienced a great customer service. Staff member at the counter was very friendly and helpful, same applies to serving staff members. Food was quite good and customise omelets were delicious. Definitely highly recommended and will visit again.
Phillip Sanders: Only a few tables available when I was there and seems quite unassuming. However, the food was excellent. The Barra was well cooked, the whole dish very tasty. I had the chocolate mousse for desert, lovely and light, the balance of the rasberry gel was spot on. There were a few surprises in the dessert too. Also quite an interesting wine list. The staff were friendly, engaged and attentive.
Melik Ibrahim: Great venue if the price point to quality is not an issue. The service and staff are great! It really allowed me and my partner to enjoy ourselves. However, the price point for the dishes is completely disproportionate to the quality. I was disappointed by my oil-filled ravioli. The food tasted poor when compared to the pricing. The food quality was akin to your local Rashay's for the price of high-quality dining.I would steer clear. If you are making a booking for the Novotel, you are within walking distance of much better food. 350 needs to regather and conduct a thorough SWOT. Furthermore, patrons within the Novotel who dine with 350 are not entitled to free parking; thus, eating at 350 serves no benefit. Why would I pay 65 for a poor steak when I can go down the road and receive better quality food with the added benefit of cheaper service. They are threatened by much higher-quality food options in Eat Street. In sum, I wouldn't really eat here unless the convenience is essential.
cody condos: Somebody is running a scam out of this place either the restaurant or the hotel charged to my debit card $219 from this address I have never been there I have never even been to Australia I've never left North America
Lewmish Miles: Stayed in the hotel for two nights and decided to have breakfast on day two. Went with the Menu option as opposed to the buffet. The meal was great, well worth the costs and will come back here again one day.
Paul Rupil: Very friendly staff, however few of them seem to know what a short black looks like. Comfortable, however way too open, too bright, not cosy at all. The food was good and prompt - kitchen seems great. They could do with paper tablecloths. We enjoyed ourselves. Not impressed though, and can't recommend for anything other than a nice meal of convenience.
Lindsay Wanstall: I booked dinner with a friend and informed them that we were attending the show at Riverside. We arrived at 6pm and confirmed our show booking. Other than water, we had nothing until our meal finally arrived at 7.10. This gave us only 20 minutes in which to eat our meal, pay and walk across the road to Riverside, covid sign in and get to our seats. The meal was nice, service friendly but, knowing we had to be at the theatre for 7.30, the meal was way too slow to arrive. It gave us no time for dessert, coffee or a bathroom visit.Unfortunately, this is the 2nd time I have had this experience of barely making the theatre.A rushed meal isn't enjoyable. We won't be eating at the Novotel again.
Greg Nicholas: Food and beverages great but the a/cond too low.
Brian Fitzsimmons: Top place to eat.
Shaun Crowley: Great quick breakfast. The usual suspects, bacon, scrambled eggs, grilled tomatoe, mushrooms, poached eggs, hash bits, fruit bowls and greek yoghurt. The coffee machines were a bit temperamental so just ask the friendly staff and they'll order you one from the barista.
Azwar Ikram: Running a downtown spot with minimal staff is always a Bad idea.
Wizard 064 (Wizard064): Nice lunch

Twenty One Fifty: what do users think?
Calvados Hawk: To my surprise I was disappointed with the breakfast. We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights but ended up having breakfast just one morning. We decided not have again. The selection of food is less and not appealing, it looked very depressing and boring. The food was just like having a big breakfast from an ordinary cafe. Cold section was average, pastry was the worst. The place has lost itโ€™s touch and flare. The service staff were wonderful, very polite, courteous and easy to talk with.Twenty One Fifty - You can do better
Fahim Hashem: loved the food
Shrisha Shrestha: So hygiene n beautiful place to visit.
Ms Lyn: Event - Celebrating end of the yr Uni exams for my partner.Very friendly & attentive service, they even gave my son attention.Nice cosy atmosphere, this eatery is located inside Holiday Inn hotel. It was quiet, just us and another table at the start. We ordered seafood risotto - so tasty and the seafood was nice and fresh. The wagyu beef was cooked nicely- Med rare. Usually I like red meats rare but if I donโ€™t know the place, my safe bet is go med- rare. The meat was tender and juicy, accompanied by a bottle of merlot.
L W: Vipin and his restaurant staff were so friendly and accommodating. The service from the staff here was so pleasant and welcoming.we felt very well taken care of.The butter chicken with mango chutney was bursting with flavour and portions were generous. For dessert, their passionfruit cheesecake is a must! I have already recommended this place to family & friends! Will be going back.

Loved the staff they were very caring and looked after us very well. A friendly and fun place and weโ€™ll be back for sure.
Lance Shofer: Mothers Day - only Dinner menu available - took a long time to be served - we received our meals about 80 minutes after arriving - Barramundi was outstanding.
Andrew Hosie: This restaurant charges a 10% surcharge on mother's day because ridiculously "it's kind of like a public holiday" we were told. Surcharge wasn't mentioned anywhere on menu or on signage and we were only told when we questioned the differences in prices on the bill. No offer of a refund or make good on the situation. Staff said they'd pass our feedback to the owner.
Laura Roberts: A 10% surcharge because it was Mother's day. No mention of this on the menu or at time of ordering food. When asked the waiter said he can't just tell everyone about the surcharge... Erm yes you can and you legally should. Disappointing.

jessy Zhong: Food is. It as good as rating showing to be honest. I would rather go to White rabbits across.
Kaye Sedgers: The restaurant was not busy and although the staff were very nice, it took them a while to take our order.Parking: Woolworths
c g: I am lucky enough to have Little Jean as my local. They have great coffee, delicious fresh food, friendly staff and Andrew (manager) is the best! Thanks LJ!
Robert Phillips: The wine was flat, the barramundi was not cooked through and a substantial part of it was inedible. The sirloin was inferior - it was tough and sinewy and fatty. The broccolini and the chips were fine but that wasnโ€™t enough to avert a disaster. We come to Little Jean often but it seems they are not trying so we wonโ€™t be back
Alice Hinings: Steph and the team at LJ are phenomenal. A welcoming embrace in the morning, coffee ready between walking in the door and the take away bar, and that extends through the day and meal/beverage. The team at little jean make Kiora lane.
