Lorraine's Patisserie: what do users think?
Yaoqi Huang: The worst service ever.
Alice Xu: If no one answer the phone at all, please just remove the number from your advertising. Such a waste of time. It’s about to close down anyway so don’t want to give too much criticism. Good cake in the cheese cake category, not impressive enough for a third try (seconds is bought by others) until I heard it’s about to close down. Definitely not worth a trip in vain, will not try again, bye bye.
Carolyn Tran: Lorraine, you're lucky you make good cakes. I'm not sure how you've managed to keep your business otherwise, your service is appalling. Beyond disappointed to have had dealt with you during this time of the year (Christmas).
Zac Grady: Yummy croissant but expected a greater variety of goods there. Didn’t try anything else unfortunately
Yue Han: Me and my partner both agreed that this is the BEST CHEESECAKE and PUFF we've ever had. The puff had a crispy camaralised layer at top, and a soft puff pastry underneath it with cream fillings. It was amazing how these two combined so well together. The cheesecake had a really fluffy texture and there was this just the right amount of sourness that balanced the richness and sweetness of the cheesecake so well that you would only wanna have another one.On the other hand, we both think the signature Mascarpone cheesecake is below the standard of the other two.Overall a really impressive dessert experience and we would definitely come back again.
Paul Dollard: Stood for 5 minutes without a hint of acknowledgment. So rude.
Mohammad Habibur Rahman (Sumon): Very good for cakes and pastries.
Rachel Y: I've always known about Lorraine's cheesecake and loved it. It was the opposite of the heavy New York cheesecake - light and fluffy with the lemony flavour. In recent years, their strawberry mascarpone has become my new favourate, a must try!
R A: Very expensive but worth every penny! The Mascarpone Cake is simply delicious and those mouth watering Choux Puffs are dangerously addictive….you simply won’t be able to stop at one! Everything at Lorraine’s is exquisite, so you can’t go wrong, whatever you choose!
Angel Z: Old school almond croissant which had light crisp layers, a cluster of toasted almonds dusted with icing sugar on top and dried cherries + jam in the centre. The pastry was crumbly, fresh and very delicious!Unfortunately, I personally dislike the taste of preserved cherries, however, I understand this is subjective. My preferred filling is creamy & nutty or citrus & fruity. All in all, it’s better than the almond croissants of piccolo Leo & Bourke Street bakery, but falls short of Lode pies & Banksia Bakehouse.Would be keen to come back and try their cakes!
bernard chee: It’s certainly a hidden gem across Wynyard station in Ivy precinct. Experience cakes, tarts and other pastries. Catch a glimpse of Lorraine Godsmark, working behind the open pastry kitchen. Hits and misses for me where Coconut macaroon takes the top spot, follow by Mascarpone and Franjipane tart.Take away only.
LU SZ-PEI: Those two are nice.
Bo Jun Lam: The Pâtisserie is tucked away in a small alley snd its easy to miss. I went at about 2pm and there was not a lot available. I didn't have much choice and just got the mascarpone cake and the Ruby's cake. But let me tell you the mascarpone cake was so so so good, one of the best I've ever had!
A K: Love it.. wish they were not sold out
Mart Deg: I had the coconut macaroons, sausage roll, lemon cheesecake, Frangipane tart and Ruby’s cake (not in that order)All were great but my favs were the Ruby’s cake and Franjipane cake. By far!The cheese cake base had a bit too much ginger for my likings but I must admit that I am not a big fan of ginger to start with. The cheesecake itself was incredible. So light and fluffy. The sausage roll was enjoyable but average. maybe I had too much cake beforehand and was too saturated. Will definitely return.Highly recommended.
Christine Dang: I’ve been coming back to Lorraine’s for the strawberry mascarpone cake since it opened. It’s my husbands favourite cake so I get it for him every year. I also like the Ruby’s cake. When I have friends visiting from interstate, I take them here to try the cakes. It’s best to pre order in advance otherwise I think you can purchase individual serves on the day. I tried to order last Friday to pick up on Saturday and it was sold out, that’s how popular the cake is!Lorraine is a humble, dedicated and hardworking woman. One evening before closing I picked up a cake and she was the last one in the shop. I told her that she works hard, and her response was, “my team are good to me”.Today my husband picked up his cake with my 2.5 yo who wanted to eat the cake immediately. She could see he was getting upset and she gave him some chocolates to have instead.Thank you Lorraine :)
Charbel Azzi: Absolutely terrible service. Called up the store at 9am on Friday morning to order a cake, knowing they open at 8:30 and no one answered. Kept trying to call but no one picked up until 10:30am. By that time the cake I wanted for that day was sold out. Fine. Placed an order for Saturday morning to pickup and the lady on the phone told me it’d be ready at 12pm. Went into the store at 12:40pm, my cake was not put aside. They had no recollection of my order, nor did they have any cakes to let me buy. The lady at the counter then said that it’d be ready in 30 minutes. What’s the point of calling up, ordering and being told a time if they’re not even going to have the cake ready? Terrible experience, will not be returning.
Rachel S: Mascarpone cake is a must try!
hill ary: The negative reviews on here about horrific customer service is all true. Came at opening time to purchase breakfast - was told pretty much nothing is ready, come back in 15 mins. I come back in 20 mins, there's still nothing ready, I can try coming back in 5 mins. Why even bother putting up opening times if you have nothing to sell. Save your money and your time and don't come here. Merivale needs to get rid of this terrible business
Zoe Chen: The great bakery hide into the alley, every time pass through always have long queue. This time I try croissant and cheese cake, croissant surprisingly have wonderful balance between the sweet and acid from fruit. The other cakes is perform well, not too sweet I love that. But I saw the review from other guests seems service have big issues which need to improve

Kürtősh - Surry Hills: what do users think?
Jack Smith: Very poor customer service dirty tables with cups and plates not been cleared. The lights and the front of the coffee machine full of dust, meanwhile the workers just talk to each other.overprice for the quality and service.
Cachewnut Grape: Bakery has overpriced for a portion so i only bought coffee. Iced long black was amazing:)디저트와 빵 가격은 양에 비해 너무 높아보여서 커피만 샀는데 진짜 진하고 맛있었어요.
D Morris: Rustic and comfortable
Savva Panagiotou: Friendly staff and great pastries! Also, spacious enough to be comfortable.
Ngọc Anh Nguyễn: Lovely service and coffee
δϮυ ,'J: This place is jus yümee. Clean nice friendly staff lil bit pricey but way worth it...
Gregory Long: The only reason this place did not get 5 stars was the uncomfortable seating. I'm not a big fan of stools and my 92 year old mother really struggled. This said, the coffees and cake were delicious. I found it interesting that they cut the cake to the customer's requirements and charge accordingly
twosis.eatsyd: We tried Kürtősh, known for its traditional Hungarian spiral Chimney Cakes. We opted for the nutella-filled kurtosh topped with pistachios. It was golden, crispy & flakey on the outside yet soft on the inside! They also offer a range of freshly baked pastries & cakes which are sold by the weight. The strawberry & pistachio sponge cake was creamy & light with just the right amount of sweetness.
Trent Ernest Hammond: Customer service was ok but a few things need to improve. These are standard practices in cafes in Australia:1. Accept Amex. This is the only card I have and my bf needed to pay this time.2. Have codimenents. No bbq and tomato sauce?3. Have whipped cream to go with cakes. The cheese cake was screaming out for some whipped cream.4. Keep your tables clean. The ones at the front all had used plates, cups, and cutlery. Not a good look. Now, to the good things:1. Chai tea was wonderful. This was really well done and appears to be a speciality of your store. Gold stars here. Real chai!!! No powdered rubbish.2. The tables were well-spaced. Nice size room. Good ventilation.3. Presentation of food at counter was excellent. Clear labels. Well lit stock. Very well done. Please consider the points above for improvements. They are simple and inexpensive to implementGood luck with your business.
Mikaela Sonter: Most of the desserts are great!! Best place to go with a few friends and share! You can buy each dessert (ranging from about 10-20 type avaliable at anyone time) in 100g pieces so well always get 3 or 4 different ones and try them all!
Ghazi Alnajdi: This location is PERFECTION!!!! Old classic decorations/style with amazing seats inside and outside where you can watch the happy life 😊 They have toilet here so you can enjoy your coffee and sit for hours without worrying!!! - took star off because I hope this my favorite place consider people on low carbs diets just like people with Diabetes 😢 please do favor and allow everyone to enjoy your place we love you 😭
Hannah Bartlett: "Mums chocolate cake" is so good, a must try! Returning customer through and through. It's great also because you can choose as much or as little as you want in all the cakes as they cut to order and charge by weight.
Sarah charles (Thewhereto): Kurtosh is a European bakery that makes all their pastry instore. Known especially for their Kurtosh/Kürtőskalács or “Chimney Cake”, it is a traditional Hungarian pastry that is made with tightly wrapped pastry coils that are doused in sugar, caramelised by baking to produce a crispy flaky exterior and soft interior. You can then have them topped with your choice of topping; cinnamon, chopped nuts like pistachios, chocolate or spices for added texture & flavour. The cinnamon one was my choice and it’s a like a donut in taste and I absolutely loved it. A decent size too, so you grab it to share. We also had a chocolate fudge cookie and mixed berry tart along with some of their popular slab cakes. These, you can order per 100g slices. There’s so many varieties and I opted for my long time favourite, the cinnamon and walnut cake, as well as a tiramisu and their lemon meringue pie. It’s a great way to sample many flavours by purchasing by the slice.Whilst you’re there, grab a coffee or chai, an iced tea or cold drink and relax in the comfortable and welcoming environment. Staff were friendly and eager to help.I’d been a regular at Randwick when I lived there but it’s great to see they’ve grown with more stores, such as Surry Hills, Wollongong, Darling Square, Crows Nest and more.
Alexandre Barros: Below average dessert. Some places add extra cream or ice-cream with the dessert. I'd suggest you do that.
Annette Bell: Who doesn't like cake?Spending the day in Sydney, we had to check out Kurtosh. I had no idea what was installed until I walked in the door.A cake feast for your eyes. Cakes on a large scale. The hardest part was deciding which one to try. A bonus is you can select the piece of cake size!
Andrew L: I first tried Kurtosh in Wollongong and was happy to find one closer to me in Surrey Hills. The chimney cake are fluffy and crispy. We always get it stuffed with Nutella and sprinkled with nuts. They also have a wide range of cakes which are very good, especially the tiramisu. I'm happy to report that the Surrey Hills Kurtosh is the same quality and standards as the first time I tried it in Wollongong.
ellissa huynh: The kurtosh dessert was nothing special. Also the palmier was very soft, not flaky. There was birds going in and out of the restaurant as well.
Valerie Lim: Best Mocha I've got in Surry Hills so far!And you've gotta love having cakes as small slice by weight as u like and try every flavour.Bread rolls are also freshly made on demand.. Known as the best fresh bread roll around.Their cakes are not out of the world... Its slightly above average but I give it 5 stars just because their svc and the experience was fantastic!
edelicious blog: Kurtosh/chimney cakes are baked right before your eyes, customised while you wait and served warm. They are to die for. Alongside the chimney cakes, they also have a selection of pastries and indulgent cakes to choose from. Coffee is excellent. Definitely a-must visit!
All About Food Mate: It’s a great cozy place to catch up with friends and family. Very nice and friendly staffs 💛Their Kurtosh are rolled and baked in a rotating spit upon order. Irresistibly crispy and flaky on the outside and soft on the inside! The Pistachio and Cinnamon flavours are a must try 💯!Amazing range of desserts and pastries. Perfect with their lovely drinks and coffee. We cannot wait to visit again to try other good stuff! 🤩😍

Bannos: what do users think?
Frankiie Lot: Very rude customer service.Bought a box of 6 and the lady couldn't understand the flavours I was asking for even though I was pointing to them at the same time. Then she dropped one of them face down but still put it in the box all broken!!!
Toni Le: Ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter’s birthday and they were very accommodating when we had a last minute delivery address change. Cake was a hit! Great customer service! 👍🏻 Thank you again Bannos team!
Ariella Karma: I was so happy to finally try the gelato at this wonderful place and it was absolutely delicious. The customer service was also outstanding, such a beautiful, friendly lady serving us today. Will definitely be back for more soon and will recommend to everyone 👍👍
Sam Thwaites: Asked for a large thick shake and for $10 got two very small scoops of ice cream in it and she put lots of ice. You don’t need ice in a thick shake. Seems stingy. Shake tasted very watered down. For $11 I’ve got a proper thick shake previously from Messina down the road.
Jaymee Pele: Panos was so lovely & helpful to deal with, ordered a cake the day before and it was delivered to me by lunch. The cake looked awesome and tasted even better ! Thank you
Lisa Blako: Amazing cake and amazing service! Would definitely recommend Panos and the Bannos team for any celebration. Thanks again 🤩
Fil K: Terrible customer service. I called to enquire about a cake I had purchased for delivery and they were unable to help me. The person I spoke to abruptly told me to call the Miranda store and hung up the phone. I called again and they answered and as soon as I enquired again, the individual hung up again. Very dissapointed and will not be purchasing anything from this establishment in the future. I am now unsure of where my cake is or if it will ever be delivered.
Katherine Boxall: Great customer service, same day delivery and beautiful cakes!
Sowmya G: We bought brownies and ice cream at this place. They tasted good, however we noticed one of the person who works there trying every ice cream, she was double dipping and pretty much used the same spoon for every dip in each of the ice creams. It was disgusting!!!!!!
Rafi Aqrawi: Amazing and friendly customer service and really good Gelato I would recommend the Biscoff and pistachio are the best-tasting flavors. If you haven't been to this place go and check it out
Dani Tale: Highly recommend the cookies n cream icecream cake!!! I ordered online and had it delivered the next day! The reviews seem to judge the customer service at the store... but i cant complaint with the fast service online and the icecream cake TASTES AMAZING!!!! Many thanks 😊
Aaishah Jaide: Staff was super unfriendly and did not help at all. Seemed like they did not want to be there and gave the same blank face the entire time. No smiles, bad service...
Kristy Henderson: Thanks Bannos, We got an awesome Cookies & Cream Gelato Cake!Ordered on line the night before we needed it and it was delivered early afternoon the next day.Looked just like the picture. Will definitely use your services again
Gabriella Hormez: Customer service terrible!! The lady that served us was extremely rude and said to us ‘what do you want’ in the most arrogant tone. Then my mum ordered one scoop of Kit Kat and she put it in a cup even though she wanted a cone and my mum politely said sorry can I have it in a cone and she just looked at us, rolled her eyes and did the most angry sigh as if it would take her a lot of work to change the cup to a cone. So rude, attitude disgusting and so many people have complained about them honestly such a mood killer and have no manners of a decent human being. Hope they see this and fix up their act ☺️ Unfortunately can’t give a zero star rating so.
Sladana Zlovic: We had an absolute amazing experienceI purchased the Nutella gelato cake for my husbands birthday every single person at the party was I love with the cake . I will Definatley continue to purchase cakes from here on every occasion thank you 😊
N Huynh: I've been here a few times when I'm in the area but the last customer service I had was so disappointing, I may not return. Ordered 1 scoop oreo ice cream $5.5 and the spoon was sticky? I asked for another and the lady gave me another spoon but I noticed her fingers were sticky with icecream! Honestly...and the way she scooped the icecream, half of it was already melted.
Nishant K: 9 for the cake quality.. absolute 0 for the customer service..the girl at the counter didn’t bother telling me it was an ice cream cake. Spoilt the whole bday.
Suzzette Penol: They did an excellent job with my daughter’s birthday cake. Staff was lovely and the owner was delightful and was keen to attend to our request. The gelato cake was both beautiful and tasty. I would highly recommend their product and would always consider ordering on our future events .
Angela Picone: Great delicious fudgey brownies. I have never seen so many flavours of brownies. I tried the Trilogy.
Julie Lu: Our cake was delivered today. Have not tried it yet so fingers crossed it tastes good. The review is regarding the cake topper which costs $4. Really sloppy work guys, really sloppy work.
Jeffrey Soedjadi: Unscrupulous service.I had bought Belgium chocolate gelato shakes from them twice. They are an excellent quality unfortunately they're unethical. After i bought one they had risen the price afterwards. When i was drinking one near the store i saw what i presumed was the manager of the store showed a badge and speak to her to the staff workers, she seemed unhappy. When my mother wanted to buy one afterwards i was confused when the price rose afterwards and the workers told me that they made a mistake with the prices and i felt bad for them because they seemed to be chewed out so we accepted the new price. The next time I wanted a gelato shake but they ran out of belguim chocolate.Recently a few hours ago my father and I went to buy a large and medium Belguim chocolate gelato shake again and they gave my father full gelato but hardly gave any in mine, it was mostly milkshake.I went back to clarify the amount but the storeclerk just gave excuses saying we put an amount of milk and stuff so i figured that they were saving the Belguim chocolate for gelato paying customers and leaving me skimped with just milkshake. In hindsight it was probably for the best because because i should cut down on the sweets, but i figured that i needed to make a fair warning to all that they might jack up the price and or skimp on gelato if your asking for gelato shakes. It's highly unethical behaviour and possibly illegal.

Wholegreen Bakery CBD Cafe: what do users think?
bonbon and pumpkin: What I loved about this place is that I didn’t have to ask what gluten free options there were - because everything was guaranteed gluten free!I came here twice while I was in Sydney- the first time I had the spinach and feta roll and Ana almond latte. I really enjoyed the latte - and the spinach and feta roll had a lot of flavour , and the pastry was lovely and crispy - it’s been a long time since I’ve had one of these . Couldn’t resist a chocolate eclair as well , the choux pastry was something to aspire to for a gluten free home cook , and the filling was a deep chocolate flavour - a chocolate lovers delight which went well with the coffee. The second time I came back for a takeout and had a vegetarian quiche and a gingerbread biscuit , which I throughly enjoyed for lunch at Taronga zoo .Thank goodness for places like this that offers so many options.Would love to know the name of the coffee, it was a delicious dark roast and I throughly enjoyed it .
Roxane Dehkordi: I am writing because numerous people had previously reviewed this place saying that there are several vegan options, but unfortunately that is not the case. Only plain bread and one chocolate chip cookie are available. Although the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, I must express my disappointment. In such a central location in a metropolis like Sydney, in times of climate change, it is not acceptable to not offer a vegan and hence climate friendly alternative. I wish they would bring back the vegan sandwich that they apparently used to have and maybe add in a vegan banana bread - this will cater to omnivorous people as well and you could become an inclusive and responsible place with little risk.
Sam Isaacs: Coffee was good but the pan au chocolate was a small stodgy loaf of bread with chocolate in it.
yajna rugjee: Worse almond croissant ever. Was thick like a breadFood: 5/1|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/3 …More
Krzysztof Budzynski: Recommended dishes Quiche SandwichMore
Holly Pearson: The best place in Sydney for gluten free options. I wholeheartedly recommend as an essential visit if you are coeliac or gluten free. I enjoyed the almond croissant especially but the savoury salad and pastry options are also delicious!! We need more places like this around the world! The most delicious gluten free cakes and pastries I have ever eaten, and that is said with no exaggeration!
Claire Weaver: Disappointing. Specifically came for the gf food but croissant was so dense and oily, I couldn’t finish it.
Lauren Lodge-West: Food is really delicious and excellent variety for coeliacs. On the pricey side but to be expected for good quality gluten free products. However, every time I’ve been I have experienced hostile service, especially from the manager lady who is very unpleasant and clearly not very nice to the other staff members, which I have witnessed multiple times. I have also seen her be rude to customers and it’s enough to put you off!
Duff's Ice Cream: We had the best experience here! Incredible service. The manager noticed our group of 4 squeezed on a table for two and asked if she could move us to a better spot with heaps of room. This tiny detail in a busy cafe was so kind and showed such a high level of customer service . The food was delish and the service fast. Highly recommend.
Denise Jonker: Best glutenfree pie I've had! 100% recommend this place for celiacs who want to satisfy their pie cravings.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pastries Gluten-Free …More
Georgie Northcoat: Really great food for gf - so many baked options.Incredibly expensive though. 10% additional charge for dining in with table service that is not exceptional. Any sauces or extras they charge $1+ for also. Seems unnecessary.Definitely a “once in a while” thing for the novelty of eating gf and having options.
Gabi Duke: Food was gluten free and delicious, the team looked a little disheartened when we visited. Might just have just been an off day though.
JOHN “Ginger” L.: Nah... Your business is not good to us.We are ongoing gluten free family for decades now and your putrid food is not fine fettle to our family. we understand what gluten food is for sure. My 6yo probably knows more about the harms gluten causes to the body then you do.If there is retailers re selling your products is up to them and frankly is not my business.Just a honest feedback that your products are too expensive, your service is desirable to be average and no quality found. We enjoy many other gluten free bakers in town, we appreciate good food. Definitely we are not coming back to your bakery.i quickly saw some of other reviews is not only us.i wish you well and"break a leg"
Digital Content Creator: Attended is rude and disrespectful. Quality of food is good but unfortunately i never recommend this café because toxic attitude of old lady. Worst cafe at sydney City i have ever went.Recommended dishes Vegan Sandwich …More

Emily: great gluten free options… pies were a bit bland but it is one of few options in CBD for coeliacs. service could be better, felt like we were inconveniencing the woman serving us!
Hugh Heggen: A nice selection of baked items but a bit expensive. Food was good
Daniel Piepers: A hidden gem in Sydney. Best gluten-free pastries I've had since getting diagnosed as coeliac 10 years ago. Super friendly staff and very warm and welcoming atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: Great range of gluten free pies and sausage rolls also! Lovely pastry and fresh ingredients.
Peita Rose: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Smoked Salmon Baguette, Quiche Sandwich, Lemon Meringue Gluten-Free, Pastries Gluten-Free, Croissant Pain Au Chocolate and Raspberry Danish, Croque Monsieur with Salad, Beetroot Cake, Rose Wine, Chocolate Beignet, Salad, Lemon Tart Gluten-Free, Pain Au Chocolat, Seeded Sourdough Gluten-Free, Pastie, Piccolo, Vegan Sandwich, French Lentil, Large Danish, Charcuterie & Cheese Plate Dietary restrictions accommodated Gluten free, Dairy freeMore
Martha: Very rude staff with a very bad attitude to the customers. You go there to spend money and you hope to be served in the right way but it is definitely not! I was served by a girl, probably Spanish and I only was asking her the ingredients in the sandwich but she was extremely and visibly boring to work there due her bad mood. she was surprised and almost upset about my "stupid" question about sandwiche's ingredients becuase they were wrote down... Which is crazy becuase it is her job, answer people and serve them in a nice way!!! Definitely not a place where to enjoy your break from work!
A A: If you are looking for the worst almond croissant, you have found it!

Sahana Javagal: Hot chocolate and the waffle are superb..
Rena Loucas: Mmm, the smells are a delight to the senses as soon as you walk in let alone the delicious cakes and chocolates. The Staff seem very nice. The hot chocolate was in most people's hands.Yum.Call in and warm up.Very convenient location right next to the train station and bus station.Who doesn't like chocolate. What a way to end the day sipping on yummy hot chocolate.Don't forget to take some chocolate home.
Ernest Maglanque: Very busy but they still manage to clean your table for other people. Good workers
AJAYKUMAR: Love triple chocolate pancakes .. and hot chocolate in its hug mug😍 is best
riri ana: Ordered a drink for takeaway. The Manager mistakenly gave my drink to another lady who walked out of the store. The same lady returned to the store with my drink and told the manager she gave her the wrong order. After realising her error, the manager proceeded to give me the same takeaway cup. Despite citing my concerns about hygiene and the possibility that the lady drank from the cup, the manager refused to remake my drink. What a joke.
Sravanthi Dharanipragada: They serve One of the best hot chocolate you can ever find. Loved the chocolate fudge with vanilla icecream. This place has good menu, pocket friendly, quick at service and the staff is very friendly. Must stop when you are in parramatta.
Lachlan Lee: I requested a menu and they pointed at the specials board, our food came pretty fast but the waitress didn’t smile or say a single word when she approached us with our food, we found a hair in our choc brownie pizzaI am an apprentice chef and the first thing that I learned was customer satisfaction and food safety always comes first before everything else
Mye: yummy cake + excellent customer service
Kiara van der Meulen: Some of the seating is not very comfortable.
Richa Ohri: We just had takeaway, Mocha. It was delicious.
Basit Ali: Average place, good quality desserts.

Bake Bar: what do users think?
Ross Dicandilo: food is good and prices reasonableI had the Berry scone and a black coffee, both excellent, their sandwiches are also good.
Martin Taylor: If you say that you close at 5pm don't close at 4pm with no explanation.Expensive & arrogant.
Gary Mc: When did it become trendy to sell cold bacon and egg snadwiches for breakfast? Never in my 53 years on this planet have I ordered a bacon and egg roll and it arrived not cooked.
Alex A: Sausage rolls, pies and pastries are very nice!
Clau Pantoja: The sourdough my god! The best. All of them are good. We are currentely in a wholewheat sourdough phase, before we were all about the wholegrain. I love that they have GF & that most of the bread is vegan . Havent eating inn in a while but I remember there wasnt many vegan options for breakkie or lunch before. I hope they do now!
Tu Du: Bake Bar need to fix their online ordering system and employ a more competent manager at Randwick. We were missing a fruit loaf from the order even though we had paid online for it and received a confirmation the order was ready. The manager who served my husband when he collected our order should have told him they didn't have the fruit loaf and that we would be refunded or offer another item. I emailed and tried to call but no answer and the email bounced. Eventually we had to come into store, the manager short changed us with the refund, only giving us $10.50 and we had to correct her that it should be $12.50. Such a frustrating experience and complete waste of time. The service and staff quality has gone downhill ever since Strada, Emmanuel, Girey and Audrey left. There's never a face I recognise and the staff need more customer service training. Really disappointing as we've been regulars for so long. All the bake goods are shrinking in size and the prices are going up. Given these facts Bake Bar really need to do better with their customer service if they expect people to return.
Alexandra Kaly: Best almond croissants ever!!!!!!
Mark Hoigans: From the first day they opened I'd regularly get an almond croissant at 6am with a coffee. Recently though the croissants haven't been ready that early even though they still take your money on the Q app for them. Very disappointed.
Ciara Doran: Excellent bakery, fantastic team 👏🏼
Jacqui Turner: Nice combined bakery and cafe.
Wichien Chantayasakorn: Good coffe and bake.
alain P: Très bon pain français ainsi que croissants et pain au chocolat (chocolatines)
Sophie Funston: Best rye bread! Great sandwiches. Shakshuka nothing special, tomatoes too astringent and could have more spices. Great coffee and sweet pastries too. Friendly atmosphere!
Maddy Clair: I have eaten here several times. The hot cross buns are amazing! Toasted with butter. YUM!!!However today I’ve ventured into their menu. I was looking forward to tasting their shack Shuka with great anticipation.I was highly disappointed.I would’ve given it a one star except there’s so many great things about this bakery I don’t want to let this meal overshadow my previous experience. However, you just can’t pour tomato sauce over eggs and bake it in an adorable iron skillet and call it Shakshuka.Shakshuka requires several spices that make it specific…. Particularly cumin. There is no cumin undertone detectable in the sauce. So I am taking the sauce home to pour over pasta. So it IS incredible sauce..thick and chunky. But it is pasta sauce …not Shakshuka sauce. As far as the eggs… The yolks are supposed to be soft enough so that when you break into them they ooze into the Shakshuka . You can see from the photo that these eggs are over-cooked ….and I have left them behind. So what I had was egg whites in tomato sauce.Cmon Bake Bar… you can do better Do a little research… It would not take much to turn this into actual Shakshukah.Again..great hot cross buns!
Jordan Liling: I rate this place 5 stars purely for the charcoal bread. It’s the only reason I go there; and it’s a more than good enough reason. It is divine.
Julie Chappellaz: Très bon pain « à l’ancienne » 🤩
Craig Deubler: Good, much better than last time.
Andrew Meadows: Always great coffee and food
Julie Werda: A variety of great food but mixed service - sometimes so busy not very friendly.
Don Burns: Nice coffee, great service, food choices a plenty. Recommend.
Derek Burrell: Just love there gingerbread biscuits

Gelato Messina Darlinghurst: what do users think?
C Wright: the staff are lovely
John Reidy: Fun place, Great gelato
Peter Miller: Called into the shop this afternoon, 4 staff in attendance, only one serving (one customer in front of me) after waiting a couple of minutes and no one seemed in a hurry I saved my money and walked out. Maybe the staff were too cool to serve customers as they clearly forgot about me.
Tony M: Fantastic. No further explanation required.
Samantha VT: Some of the best gelato in Sydney.
Leon Innes: Bloody unreal noore to say
Kimberley Whitchurch: Stylish and fun, this local favourite serves up familiar gelato flavours as well as deliciously creative inventions. Not to be missed when visiting the area, and I'd say worth a special trip. Highly recommended.
Jovana Jovannna: I have a feeling I might spell his name wrong, however the guy that worked tonight (Jorhe?) - great customer service!
Thomas Bilaseca: El mejor helado de Sydney
Sabrina Correa: Excelente calidad
Yannick Hertogs: Best I've had in my life. Heavenly.
Khin x: I am a bit disappointed with ice cream, our third time visit. I felt very thirsty after eating the ice cream, extremely thirsty. I am not sure what kind of ingredients have been added. Wouldn't go again. Waste of time.
Feed Me I'm Hungry: I recently ordered what I thought was going to be a nice big 1.5L container of your yummy gelato through UberEats from your Darlinghurst store. But alas, when my delivery arrived, my dreams of a massive ice-cold treat were dashed when I opened the bag to find... wait for it... a measly 500ml container! This was like receiving an empty present (that I paid $42.50 for) on Christmas day!
R R (Muraborah): Great selection of creative flavours
Michelle Currey: Love popping into Gelato Messina and trying one of their new flavours. They are always being refreshed with new and exciting recipes. The staff are always friendly regardless of how busy it gets. Drop in and try one of their recipes because I guarantee you'll return.
Olha Dorosh: My favorite gelato. Thank you.
Jennifer Dunn: Delicious!
Loyo: Dulce the leche ice cream is spectacular!
Guy McPhee: If you want the most delectable dessert, then this is your place! Exquisite flavours, friendly and patient staff. What more could you ask for?
No way myself: Love their special flavours of the day!
john coates: Robert Brownie Jr is back!!! 6 stars… I’ve been looking for him for years. Heaven

C9 Chocolate & Gelato: what do users think?
Leonardo Torres: If you like sweets and tastes things! This is the place! Special combinations for kids and adults will take you an amazing sweet experience!
Benjamin Lea: Ordered some waffles and melted chocolate, dark and the classic milk. Was underwhelmed.I guess I expected Max Brenner quality but it’s definitely not there. The vibe is cool, service was fast but I can’t say I’d recommend or be returning again.
AJ B: My favourite gelato in the area. Try the crème brûlée flavor - you won’t regret it.
vladymir lauchang: Multitude of flavours to choose from, so far the best taro gelato ice cream I've tasted.
gillivette: So good ice cream and desserts, I just don't recommend the strawberry cheese cake Ice Cream, but the others are really good, especially the peanut butter, the staff is really kind, friendly and happy and you can see how they make the ice cream, and they serve good portions.
Hannes Van Der Merwe: C9 is one of the coolest dessert shops in all of Sydney. They have a variety of ice creams available, and a number of different desserts to choose from. If you are looking for a great date night with your significant other, C9 is the place.
Kathy: Delicious sundae with a variety of flavors
Mastaneh: The gelatos were very good and of good quality and the price is also great.. The new C9 branch in the city will open in two weeks.. and I am very happy.
Aaron McGuinness: Advertised to be open till 10pm and arrived before 9.30pm. Ordered a thickshake but was told the machine has already been turned off.Previous time I was here I got a gelato and it was dripping by the time it was passed to me - not sure if there is something wrong with how it is made. By the time I walked out it had almost entirely melted.Every time I give this place a shot it has been pretty disappointing.
Elektra Blinder: i adore this place. they have pulled through for me so many times late at night, they always accept my order, and it’s always delicious and the perfect fix for when needed :)) lava cake with the chocolate shot is a must try !!! i also love the raspberry gelato, as someone who’s dairy intolerant i love that i can get so much natural sweetness from this without the cream. thank you guys, you’re always amazing 3
Leigh Morris: Ordered on uber eats. Cancelled order after 30mins with no reason given. Won't received refund for 10 days. Good one.
Lee S.: Amazing gelato in North shore. Lots of flavour & authentic taste. “Passion fruit” is the best. The service was quick and staff are also super friendly.
Kristal C.: Ordered the Croffle pizza ($28) and to say I was disappointed, is definitely an understatement. I’ve ordered this plenty of times in the shop and always very satisfied and full.. I was very much far from it tonight although still having a very big dinner. This may be good to order in but definitely not via Uber eats.
hannah: rlly yum and cute food, quick service too!! :D would come here again
Frank R: Very good gelato. The chocolate and coconut flavours are my favourites. Friendly staff
Angelina Freckelton: Nice icecream and good coffee. Only downside were interior was really hot and queueing/ordering was a bit messy as there's no real queues.
Michelle Lin: Our regular ice cream shop for when we’re too lazy to head to chatswood! Beautifully fresh ice cream, could do with a bit of different flavours throughout the weeks but can’t fault their gelato.
Tasmia Mariam: Beautiful ambience and atmosphere. The staffs were great and friendly too! Love ordering my favriote flavours, butter scotch and salty brownie or Creme Brulee! 😍
Audrey Vintage Cafe: Great ice cream!
Sheryl Martis: Delish.... great choice of ice creams
Emily Zhang: Big selection of cronuts, croffles, gelato etc. but we felt like it was quite average tasting - not bad, but not bangin’ 😔 Our favourite would have to be the crème brûlée cronut 😋Insta: @spezventures

Bourke Street Bakery North Sydney: what do users think?
Oliver Schwertfeger: Slightly expensive, but great sausage rolls!
claire zhang: Croissant is very fresh. Highly recommended for North Sydney.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/4 …More
iamschizoid iamschizoid: Went here after trying the delicious the pork & fennel roll, the lamb roll and the rhubarb Danish at the Marrickville branch where I was served by its wonderful, happy, friendly staff. Here, I was reluctantly "greeted" by an Asian-looking female staff who looked as though she'd rather be serving someone else. (By the way, I'm an Asian-looking female as well so it's a little ironic.) Fortunately, another much friendlier staff took my order. From now on, think I'll be heading to the Marrickville branch to satisfy my Bourke Street Bakery cravings instead.
Max Whiteman: Delicious pies and sausage rolls.
CY T: 為了每天經過聞到的那香味❤️
Calista: Chunky beef pie ($7.5) is the best! My forever favourite pie shop
Kyle Seeber: Sausage roll every morning while I lived in north Sydney, after 5years of living in Perth I still dream about your sausage rolls
Marian Lawrie: The quiche was very salty and I couldn't taste the leek at all.Coffee lacked depth.Food: 5/2|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/3 …More

Ka Ling (Drkyling): Mostly take away but there are a few small seats you can have a quick meal or coffee at. The sausage rolls (pork and fennel) are amazing ($7.50), ham and cheese toasties are great and I also love their tarts (a bit tiny, but still really yummy). Great place to grab something small if you pass by. Sadly they close by mid afternoon and are not open on Sunday.
Vishal Bhagani: Awesome place, love the outdoor area, good good and coffeeFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
misc day: Please make coffee, not coffee milk. What a waste of money.
N: Great sourdough bread and croissants. Thank you!
Mon F.: One of the best bakery for bread loafs and muffins! I highly recommend the pear and rhubarb muffin
