Karina K: First timerVery funI’ll definitely try again

Aurora Group Services: First time visit, my son loved it. We be back for sure
Georgina Zavala: I love this gym. Great for leading.
Phoebe Y: Fun place for kids holidays
Jacob B: Always a fun time coming here, have recently become a member and well worth it
Dan Graham: Great for all ages
Wen Zhao Cheng: New climbing routes are added every week. There are many children's birthday parties being held there so it can be annoying while belaying as you need to look out for children running around.
purple pringles: I LOVE CLIMBING HERE!!!! FAVOURITE PLACE IN THE WHOLE WORLD. Everyone here is so nice. great community
Igor Protsenko: My son loves it - we are coming back every Sunday, you can keep kids busy for good 4-5 hours - kids climbs, adult climbs, caves, foosball, gym, etc.
aldyano yauwmayer: My first time and its wild! 😂😂
Jai Oakley: staff are kinda rude, other than that great place!
Nancy Jhang: Very friendly service, we had a great time here.
bison: Amazing staff and awesome climbing facilities. Heaps of different range of levels for lead climbing and bouldering. From for little kids to professional climbers there is something for everything. Open late and not overcrowded all the time.
Em Kay: Good climbing with lots of variety. Could have some non-climbing options for the kids like its sister gym in Villawood.
D A: Great place to climb. Staff can be hit and miss, some seem more interested in trying to act and look cool, then actually looking after customers.
Rocio Collazo: Live sooooo much this place !!!! Have everything that you need
Lin Danrong: Kid loves the place

NOMAD Bouldering Gym: what do users think?
Philipp Cordes: I ain't no expert, pero me gusta
Clas Zachrisson: What am I getting for my $22? They have exploited maybe 5% of the available wall area. Maybe worked during covid to average one grip per 3 sqm wall but thoroughly disappointed in NOMAD.
bison: Decent selection of boulder problems to work on. Nice if you're looking for a small starting gym to get into the sport
ET763: My favourite location for indoor climbing, large walls, good coffee on site with an excellent selection of climbing shoes. 🧗‍♀️
Macross: Awesome gym!The staff are really chill and the sets are really fun. Comp walls are a plus too10/10 would come again
Devlin Amory: Awesome gym, interesting routes for all grades. Very impressedStaff polite and friendly, super fun session.
Alex H.: Went to this gym while traveling to Sydney. It has a chill atmosphere with friendly regulars and staff. There are a lot of beginner to intermediate routes, which I think makes it great for bringing friends along. There were also a couple of walls that I could see myself projecting for longer spans of time.
Hunter Wardman: Awesome bouldering spot, with a good crowd, friendly staff and challenging routes. It is not as beginner friendly as other bouldering gyms, but from beginner/intermediate and above, there are a number of good challenging courses.
Liz M: Top tier, best people, great setting schedule :)
Huawei Phone: Great facilities. Friendly staff. Positive atmosphere.
Carlo Paje: Great climbing facilities, chilled atmosphere and excellent options for beginners like me.
camel farmer: Nice bouldering gym with a good range of problems from beginner to more advanced. Loses a star for the easier problems lacking any creativity. I would do again.
Håkon Grøtte: I seldom write reviews on Google, but the way I was treated by the receptionist at Nomad is just incredible. She told me they have an offer for newcomers where you can pay for a one week trial including shoe rental. I naturally thought it would be more expensive than a single day pass, and because I didn't know if I was returning I opted for the day pass without knowing the price difference. Turns out the day pass is more expensive than the 1 week trial (28$ vs 21$). No one in their right mind would ever opt to pay more for one day than paying less for 1 week. I received zero warning about the price difference as I was paying. When I confronted her about it she just acted like it was a silly mistake on her part. I returned a few days later to climb and asked if I could climb for free because I paid more than the 1 week trial, but was refused. She had me pay for the 1 week trial. Even though I confronted her about her faulty reasoning she would not budge or admit she was providing awful customer service.Good climbing facilities.
Xin Yuan: I’m visiting from the states and found NOMAD is way better than the climbing gym in my city!! Love the chilling vibe and spacious semi-outdoor place where you can explore different levels and challenge yourself! (All level friendly ;)) They also have a lovely coffee bar, green yoga rooms and first-week exploring pass for only $21… too many good things to say about this place
Melvyn Lee: Chill place with awesome routesetting and sick music. Love that they have a low-sensory time period on sat mornings to cater to people with sensory-overload issues. Really thoughtful and inclusive!
Tin Lok Ni: Climbing green try to break into purple
eric gaines: Positive:QualitySo lucky to have this as my Local.
Ivan Duong: Best bouldering gym in Sydney. Constantly changing walls, friendly staff.
Stephen Doggett: My local Bouldering gym. Staff always friendly and helpful. Place is kept clean. Music isn’t to bad. Great for a climbing workout
Elmi Anel Nieuwoudt: Beginner here. I started going here as part of a Meetup group and as I feel I'm slowing progressing, this is a highlight in the week. The sport is quite hectic, but I feel that the people here have been so inviting and friendly. The sport itself is very inclusive and everybody wants everybody to win. I feel people at Nomad are embracing that.On the gym itself, it doesn't fall short of anything. I've been loving it every time I've gone.
Bruno Rodríguez Armesto: Nice bouldering gym next to a brewery.

Celia C: Love you guys! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Best gym ever.
Dave B: First time indoor climbing in Australia and loved this place! I will definitely go back, the staff were so helpful and nice. I can't wait to go back and climb again.
Masar Al Sayfe: Kids had so much fun. Instructors very friendly and the place is huge. It has so many options and levels. We used the Groupon deal but it is worth paying full price.
Paolo Abballe: That was great! My first time I climbed 6 routes with a 24 average 🙂
Akhil Nikhil: Had fun and great experience, great indoor climbing gym. We spent almost 4hrs without knowing. Lots of fun, can bring kids as well.
Adam Brygula: My favourite climbing gym. New lead climbs most weeks, boulders a set very well. good for anyone starting off to advance climbers.
J: Ample space for everyone with lots of walls to choose from. Good place for all levels. They give a safety training for beginners as well. Have come back twice now since trying it out and will keep on inviting friends to check this out!
Titi HH: Nice place but can get busy.Feel like they were understaffed to ensure safety and proper customer services
Rachael Dykes: Great climbs, helpful staff. Good variety for the whole family. Super tall, really feels like a challenge
Genevieve Mlotkowski: Sydney Indoor Climbing is incredible! I took my youngest and 3 friends along and they had such a brilliant time. After 2 hours the 10 and 11yo boys wanted to keep climbing. The staff were incredibly helpful in showing the older girls how to Belay. We'll definitely be back.
KieranAndRebekah Cook: Good for lead climbing. Can get pretty busy on weekends when there are birthday parties on.
Kim Flexman: Always love coming here with the 6 kids (2yo -12yo) something for everyone and great way to keep them active and entertained for the entire day!

The Edge Rock Climbing Centre: what do users think?
TMA TMA: Staff (appeared to be owner of the business) was very rude. He didnt want to help, from what I noticed he had that attitude towards people from certain backgrounds. Comments from others here also confirms that, he is racist.
Jeffrey Lehrer: Been a great climbing gym for many years and still is
Kristen Zullo: My daughter had her 9th birthday party here over the weekend. The staff were excellent- on top of everything. They were so accommodating and helpful! The party host Kylan was fantastic and really kept things moving. Lina was on the front desk and was super helpful. If you’re planning a party here I would suggest having a few of the parents stay to belay as it made it so much more fun for the kids that they didn’t have to wait too long for their turn.Such a great overall experience- would definitely recommend! Very impressed with the service and facility.
Ashraf Virginia Wassif: My 2 kids and husband have been coming to The Edge for 2 years now on a bi weekly basis. Staff take the upmost care with all participants and are keen to lend a hand if needed. The routes are always changing so you don’t get bored. The kids after school programs are soo fun and informative.Hubby always finds a buddy willing to belay him and visa versa.I’m always recommending The edge to other parents.
Georgie Broos: I would give zero stars if I could. The cafe always smelt bad as if something died there. Also my friend broke her ankle climbing the wall and the staff just gave her and ice pack. Management needs to be fixed.
Swati Katyal: The staff can be more friendly I feel. The place is fine though but just some additions to entertain little kids too would be great
Yi JIANG: 周边最好的室内攀岩场所
David Kobler: We had our sons 10th Birthday at the Edge and it was fantastic. Our host Tom was great with the kids and had some fantastic activities and games for the kids to do. All the kids were so pumped to have achieved more than they thought possible by the end of the party. The party room was private and not one of those crazy loud chaotic venues. Had a good Kitchenette and was very clean. Both parents and children left saying they definitely want to be back. Highly recommend.
May P: Great place for kids parties. Plenty to keep them entertained and having a host the whole party was great.
Sally McFarland: Kids had so much fun. It's perfect for them to overcome their fear of heights. Very safe environment staff are great and helpful and affordable prices 😃
eva wenydfss: It's very small. But it's good enough for kids
Richa Anand: I feel bad writing a -ve review but someone need to know. The excitement of climbing for my three kids was ruined by a very rude staff. I had such a bad experience at this place just due to lack of customer service. They handed us the harness at the entry and asked us to put it ourselves looking at a picture how to do it. The assumption of the staff is that you are either an expert in climbing or they show you once and you should understand it straight away, if they show you properly. The staff kept telling me that if I do it wrong they need to call an ambulance as I am putting my kids life at risk and on top of that rather than helping me how to put the harness right or pull the rope tight she is busy telling me how to learn next time.Business next to you with similar activities, the staff help you. They want to make the experience count not just get the money and let you in. They are looking after the kids while they are climbing. They ask you if everyone is comfortable. They are on their toes while kids are around giving attention to each kid.My kids are too scared to go back to this place specially if ambulance was mentioned few times.
Emma Mac: It would be awesome if there were more autobelay routes.Always tidy. Staff are always lovely and helpful.
avinash kalyana sundaram: Awesome place to get into rock climbing with a wide array of options. Really helpful folks at the center too, helping you out with the basics and ensuring you get it right. Would definitely be going back and highly recommend this place.
Steve Phone: Lov this place, kids ALWAYS hav a ball, has a little cafe so parents n chill n enjoy a hot or cold drink, icecream etcStaff r SUPER NOICE. Which is REALLY what MAKES a place !! There is a Ratrun maze too that my teens r STILL loving.😆.been coming here since they 1st played in the kiddiez rat run 😂😂Definately recommend spending time here👍🏻
Vincent Zhang: Very challenge!
Y Q: It was good and our kids had so much fun. it has a maze inside downstairs. Also, you can rent a flashlight for $1. The staff was so nice.Prices from $18. It has a waiting area and you can order.
Rishon Koren: The staff are really nice and there is a good amount of climbing just a bit lacking in bouldering.
Tin Lok Ni: Great tunnel climbing with Jess!
hkumara: Recommended
Chandran Pfitzner: Excellent gym, some very high walls for sport and lead climbing.

Farid Mousavian: My favorite place, lots of fun
UUMoky: The route setting is always creative and the prices are decent if you get the 3-12 month passes! Great for serious boulderers. Love the dogs too. Overall, really can't complain. It's great for what it is, and there aren't many bouldering gyms here in Sydney. A nice touch is their use of TopLogger which lets you see what V level each of their routes are
Makayla: Very challenging👍
rickyrick “rickyrickstan” stan: Dogs are kool
Liam Hales: The route setting is very creative
David Moreno: Great gym! Very kind staff and awesome walls, great plan to do with friends with/without climbing experience
Cédric Tiberghien: Great bouldering place. All levels, organised in a progressive way. Free Chalk available (!) as well as bandage, phone chargers. Lots of shoes to hire, and a free week for all new comers! And an app to follow your progression.I absolutely loved it and will definitely go back
Niel Dagondon: Spacious place. Friendly staff. Lots of easy routes. Good experience for a first timer.
Ian Wild: Good cheap way fixed upper body strength. Also a full gym upstairs Also seniors or students card discount. Easy to bicycle to along Parramatta river cycle. The staff are friendly too. Coffee shop too!
Peter Kawecki: Great varying climbs and pizza
Pavel Hekrle: Great training spot. Nice atmosphere, regular boulder reset, kilter board, gym, good coffee. This place has everything you need.
PEANUTS: Definitely
Liam Varley: Great bouldering gym. Friendly staff, good routes and eslasy to read. Slack line is fun and the coffee is good. Also the warm up area and small gym is a nice addition to have.
Alfred Tao: One of the best climbing gyms in Sydney. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. Most of the people there are super nice and supportive too. The climbs are spread well between all the levels of skill for all climbers. They have a weights area as well and space to store your bag. Definitely a must visit for any keen boulder climber. Shoe hire can be provided. They also serve really good barista style coffee
Tamara Shaweesh: Really nice and friendly atmosphere especially for first timers

BlocHaus Bouldering Sydney - Marrickville: what do users think?
James Harris: Am semi regular, this is still the top place in Sydney for bouldering hands down. Atmosphere, staff and route setting
Michelle Grey: The people at the front counter are always chill! The climbs are good and have decent variety.
David Uranie: Beautiful place to climb with great staff and an awesome vibe. Friendly even when it’s busy. Bring all your friends.
Leeroy Evans: Tough challenges but very doable overall a great experience.
Marc lesaicherre: Awesome climbing , spray needs a clean , cool kilter board , mats a bit firm, wide range of problem angle
Tim Mullaly: Great gym. Awesome space, great coffee and excellent setting.
Ian Gilmartin: Amazing gym, great sets & friendly team
Radu Vissarion: A lot of climbs for all levels. And there's a slack line too.
Ajumi H: Went here together with my best friend who tried out bouldering for her first time and - loved it 😍 We went here on a weekday in the morning and had a big hall almost just for ourselves so enough space to try everything out. I’ve been to several other bouldering halls before but this one offers really cool and different routes I’ve never seen anywhere else!
David Jorm: An excellent bouldering gym. Good mid grade climbs and plenty of space, not too crowded at peak time.
Andrew: Over from England. Great atmosphere, a range of difficulties of boulders. Clean and tidy for a gym. I would recommend climbing here and use of hand moisture.
Ivo Walne: Great gym, great atmosphere. Large, open and bright unlike alot of gyms, plenty of climbing walls as well as space to move around. Additional gym facilities are nice also
Alexander Kalogeras: Fun activity
Amy Lou: Great activity for friends, families and colleagues. We’ll set up and decent price considering you can also use the ping pong table and gym. The gym upstairs was surprisingly clean and well equipped with squat racks and techno gym.
Elena L: Friendly climbing gym for everyone!
Victoria Chen: Climbs are not short people friendly at all.
Marlene Bolms: Friendly, clean and very accommodating. Great overall experience:)
Chloe Yuen: Edit: Thanks for updating the splash wall with new holds!Good gym. Very confused about grades with the colours, makes it slightly harder to track progress. Has a grand board setup, but anything on the splash wall is really hard since all the wooden holds are super slippery and polished with rubber, needs a good clean. Good setting and variations. Also, feel slightly paranoid walking through the streets of Sydenham/Marrickville to get to BlocHaus. Not my favourite place to visit at night.
Jeff Spargo: Wish they had this when I was a kid, only had the real thing. Wonderful
Harry Blair: Great spot to hang out (mind the pun.)Lovely staff, facilities and value!
Max D-C: i climba the wall

The Ledge Climbing Centre: what do users think?
Piers Hobkirk: Not good for bouldering. The bouldering area is tiny and the prices are only barely cheaper than most big bouldering gyms (and it’s more expensive than the prices written on their webpage!) It’s just not worth it for what you get.
Raldrid: Really fun place, went there with a friend and the reception guy was really nice, and all the people we met there were also really nice.
Y.D C: Small climbing gym in USYD. Got a small bouldering area upstairs. 18 top climbing routes. Staff is friendly. Price is reasonable.
Kaitlin Kramer: Staff are lovely and although small it’s a great place for an afterwork climb
Tina De Angelis: Pretty cool. Will be going back
Mollie Boyd: Amazing time at the Ledge! Has fantastic creative routes and lovely staff. Has an atmosphere unparalleled by any other Sydney climbing gym
Justinian Tabucanon: Great place to I'm if you want somewhere that's not too busy. Just gonna say that the holds are a bit slippery haha
Robert Noto: Great place for indoor rock climbing or if you're really serious, preparing for that next big climb outdoors. Great for kids too.
Joel Courtney: Long time no climb at this venerable climbing gym. The bouldering wall still delivers far more than you would expect from the space! And it’s a bargain to boot!
Christoph Patrick Werner: I've been going to the Ledge to boulder on a weekly basis for nearly a year now. I really enjoy the small and cosy atmosphere. I know it is definitively not the biggest gym, its boulder area is pretty small to be honest, but the staff - Probs to Phil ;) - changes the problems often enough that I never get bored. Possibly the biggest advantage, especially for students are the unbeatable prices! Keep up the good spirit :)
Lexi Mac: My favourite place to climb or boulder. Small but the super staff and excellent routes make up for it big time. Love this place ❤️
Gosia B: Very cosy. Enough to give you a good workout. I hope that the routes are changed often enough, otherwise it can quickly get boring.
Ace Mamun: This is a very, very serious complaint in relation to one of your instructors at The Ledge Climbing Centre. My partner was verbally assaulted by one of your instructors, and her friend's life endangered tonight (22nd Jan at 7pm). The instructor was bald or shaved headed, Caucasian, and possibly in his 40s.On arrival, my partner and her friend (two females; little experience, one absolute beginner) were unable to get the "instructor's" guidance or attention. Nor were they able to/provided the mandatory release forms - a huge liability issue for your center and the university. They were left to work out themselves how to tie the crucial safety harnesses and hold the ropes with absolutely no training or guidance on the day, which could have lead to fatal accidents if done incorrectly. When my partner finally managed to get the instructor's attention (while having difficulty supporting her friend with the safety rope) and asked him very basic safety questions, she was violently yelled. This was done continuously to the point where she broke into tears (and she's not one to get emotional easily); all the while with complete disregard to her friend who was dangerously hanging from the wall. His immaturity was further obvious when she mentioned her arms felt weak/sore holding the rope in a position shown, only to be loudly yelled at again (rather than helped), and told he (a strong, large male) could hold the rope with his fingers. This was paramount to bullying or worse. To have paid for an experience, only to have been verbally assaulted and put their lives in danger is unacceptable. If this isn't promptly, openly, and appropriately addressed, we may be forced to formalize our complaint and take it further.
Miki O: Great cosy wall :D
Ben Wilkinson: Good community, short hard climbs that feel almost like long bouldering problems, but less bouldery
Lachlan Smith: Great place to climb! Especially on Wednesdays as it is cheaper then. Becoming a member of the club gives you access to borrow gear.
Eloise Robertson: Nice gym although employees are not to eager too help
Gaëtan Guéraud: Sydney University climbing gym. is an interesting place to go climbing once in a while it's not the most recent gym as you can expect and they don't often change the routes but it's the cheapest.
Garrett Mattos: Phil is a great experienced climber and this shows in his climb setting. Great value for money and great camaraderie. Join one of the outdoor clubs and get a discount!
Scott Gleason: Small gym, but the climbs are really technical to keep it interesting. Friendly staff and very inviting.
aseem das: Best place to boulder in Sydney. Small but the routes are pretty amazing and very realistic.
