Sydney Abortion Clinic: what do users think?
Emily Whitlatch: Dr Osborne was great :) very comfortable experience and took great care of me…would highly recommend!
Dean Wilkinson: As professional and personable as you would want a clinic providing this type of service to be. Very happy with my experience.
Martina Cattaneo: Professional and friendly staff, would recommend!
Aneta Sutarov: Terrible client service and follow up. Rude and confrontational receptionist. Waiting out in the cold for an appointment. It’s been more than an hour past scheduled time and still waiting. No one wears masks, yet they insist on social distancing. No follow up before appointment as advised. Really regretting booking with this clinic now.
rachel whiddett: Had a great experience here, the staff were lovely and everything was explained really well. Only thing was that I was in the waiting room for a really long time.
Rachel Lynch: Just a beautiful experience for something so personal. Every person I encounter was kind, caring and supportive.
Charlotte ozer: Great clinic with such friendly staff. Can’t recommend them enough.

Bon Tee: So grateful for all the staff here who made my experience so comfortable and stress free! From the front desk to all the nurses before and after my procedure - everyone was 10/10. And the very lovely Chelsea had just received a glowing review from someone else for her attentive manner (and gorgeous pink eyeshadow) so let me add to that too - she’s a gem! I’m sorry that I don’t remember my other nurses names but they were all amazing. It was my first time going under and the sedation nurse was so kind and helped to put me at ease with my nerves. Thank you to the whole team you guys are fantastic
Savannah Peterson: I had the most positive experience having my kyleena inserted. A special shout out to Chelsea who’s pink sparkly eyeshadow and kind fun personality was very calming to be around Pre procedure. My male doctor was very professional and happy to answer any questions with time, respect and patience. The anaesthesiologist (German Doctor) was very kind and happy and put me into the most beautiful sleep which made my procedure pain free and quick! Highly recommend when having an IUD inserted.Thank you for the wonderful experience clinic 66.
Brooke M: Dr Lou was reassuring, thorough and efficient during my appointment. She was very kind and non-judgemental which is exactly why I would recommend this clinic. Quick results.
Tiffini Perrin: Excellent service.
mhackney369: Prompt, friendly and professional service. Advice has always been given over the phone by receptionist as to the timing of the need for any of the services provided.
Eleanor McElhone: Dr Lou did my cervical screening. No complaints at all.

Musha Q: They are so friendly and professional, thank you for looking after me!
Camilla B: My IUD insertion under general anaesthetic went really well. Thank you to the doctors , anaesthetist and nurses for looking after me!It has been over 6 months now and I'm finally done with the healing :)

Macquarie Street Clinic: what do users think?
Peter Dabro: Multiple friends have had excellent experiences at this clinic
Mei Wilkinson: Professional and caring. Had an IUD inserted under sedation. I've been nervous about anesthetic in the past but the anesthesiologist was really kind and reassuring.
Isabella Leyten: I left work early on a busy day to make my appointment. I arrived and knocked on the door, rang the door bell and called. There was no response after 25 minutes of waiting in the corridor. I assume that they closed early as there was no answer. I then had to leave and make a half hour trip back home after being put in that position. The least you could have done was let me know that you were cancelling my appt and closing early.
Su Ning Loh: Came here bright and early as it was open according to Google. Couldnt find a way to enter the building so I called the landline.A guy picked up and told me I cant buzz in, I can only come in if I have an appointment. Unfortunately we didn’t know this and we didnt have an appointment and we just wanted to see a doctor but the way he explained was just so rude. “We’re only open to patients with appointments today” then proceeds to ask me whats happening? So I explained and he then replied “yeah we’re not open today” see this inconsistency here? Plus you’re also answering the landline so it’s clear you’re open. Horrible.
Vero: I tried to call and book an appointment but the receptionist was so rude! I could not believe how rude she was.
Lucretia Liu: I had a positive experience with this clinic today. I had mild anxiety before the SA (as it was my 1st time) but the whole process was actually very calming & worry-free! The doctors seemed really nice. Last thing I remember is the sedation & then my memory jumps straight to waking up under a warm blanket... Feeling very well post surgery too - strolled through the city & did some shopping.
abigail asiedu: Love you guys like crazy 😜Thanks for your helpGuys I recommend yous go the anytimeThey are really goodGood communication skills and the doctors and nurses are amazing 🤩
Alex Galin: The most experienced doctors and nurses in Sydney. Professional, efficient and empathetic staff.
C. R: Firstly, I would like to say that the counsellor I saw (Deborah) and the male doctor who did my ultrasound were both kind, respectfully informative, and professional. However, the receptionist is extremely abrupt and rude, especially to support people who are dropping off and picking up patients. Yes, you are told when booking that support people are not permitted in the clinic, but how hard is it to be compassionate when telling these people to wait outside/come back later? Most disappointingly though, as someone with a severe phobia of intravenous (IV) needles due to a traumatic history involving IV needles, the sedation doctor was completely apathetic from the moment she entered the consult room to meet with me before my procedure. I don't know her name but she is an older lady with short white hair who wears glasses. I will refer to this woman as "Jane" from here on in. Below are the notes I made for myself yesterday about what transpired with her so that I could make an accurate complaint to APHRA and NSW Health regarding her disgraceful conduct:1. Jane didn't say hi or acknowledge me when she entered the room, until she had flipped through all my documents, even though I had immediately said hi to her.2. After a minute or so, Jane instructed me where to sign and ignored the clearly underlined "severe phobia of IV needles", before shuffling the papers to get up and leave.3. Before Jane left her chair, I was desperate to explain my fear to her, so I started with "I need to tell you that I have a severe phobia of IV needles..." which is when Jane cut me off and went on a tangent about how "phobia's are just irrational fears" and "there's nothing I can do to change that for you".4. I started to respond saying "I know it's irrational but..." which is when Jane cut me off again to ask "do you have any piercings"? I started to reply, but it was not as simple as yes or no for me, and she cut me off mid-sentence for a third time to re-ask her irrelevant "do you have any piercings or tattoos" question. I said yes, and it was in this moment that I started to shut down.5. Jane went on about how ridiculous it is that "it's often the people with piercings and tattoos that have these irrational fears, it doesn't make sense".6. Jane then noticed that I came prepared with emla cream on my left hand, to which she said "the IV will be going in your right hand too by the way because emla cream makes it near impossible to find a vein, it's too difficult".7. At this point, I had to accept that this apathetic, rude, and unprofessional woman was not going to listen to or support me at all, so I told her that I want the gas to hopefully reduce my anxiety. Jane sighed heavily, rolled her eyes, behaved in a very cold manner, and replied with "hmm" as though it was such an inconvenience for her.8. As Jane was getting up and walking to the door, which was behind me, she was saying something along the lines of "the worst thing to be is a moving target, everyone has the same irrational fear, follow me" while almost scoffing at me.9. I was incredibly upset, stressed, unable to even look at or toward Jane as I entered the surgical theatre and, while I was having a panic attack on the operating chair, Jane had the audacity and unprofessionalism to say "geez you need to calm down, you're stressing me out". This is the last thing I remember before being sedated. Can you imagine what such a horrible experience would do to someone who is already traumatised as a result of previous medical treatments/procedures involving IV needles? I was in an incredibly vulnerable position yesterday. I am appalled and further traumatised by Jane's actions and behaviours yesterday. Jane is a prime example of why the years of experience you have in a particular field mean almost nothing when you have little else to offer your patients.Due to my dealings with Jane, I will never return to this clinic for any reason, and I would strongly suggest that anyone with mental health issues, particularly trauma-related, look elsewhere too.
Degi 21: Best place . Doctor staffs are very friendly. Make you feel safe and comfortable .
M B: The receptionist I spoke to now, is just horrible, talking over me and extremely rude, if this is their preface, I do not want to go further
Joyce Kenny: Can be quite daunting going for Womens Helath services but the staff were absolutely amazing. thank you!
ella wilson: I usually am not one to post a review on something, but I feel this is necessary. A few months back I had a surgical termination, which is obviously not going to be a pleasant experience but you do expect the staff to be supportive and respectful towards you. I am 17 years old and had been taken by my Mother and partner. We were greeted by an older lady whom was extremely rude and did not have a compassionate bone in her body. The way she spoke to myself, my Mother and my partner was absolutely disgusting and made me feel even worse then I had coming to the clinic in the first place. Once the termination had been completed, myself and 4 or 5 other women were sat on a chair to be assessed and made sure that we were okay to leave after a certain amount of time. A woman was weeping, in complete grief. I understand that these people see this everyday, but for goodness sake, show some compassion. This poor woman made one of the biggest and hardest decisions of her life and they had no care to talk to her. Before the procedure we were sent to a counsellor to discuss the decision and further plans. The lady was extremely judgemental and rude. If you can’t be kind, don’t work in this profession. This is an experience that I do not like to reflect on but feel that this needs to be shared. I hope that no other woman has to experience this feeling and go through any of this.
Ravneet kaur: I had my medical services from the clinic,, the doctor and nurses are very nice, explains well the procedures, medication, everything, but the people sitting at reception are very very rude, I requested them for some information for my private health insurance and she has been extremely rude to me,, when I asked her why is being rude to me,, she said that don't u teach me how to speak i am in this system for several years,, this was really bad,, doesn't matter how many years of service you have done, if u don't know how to deal with clients its useless.
DIANE SEGL: Thank you to all the staff at Macquarie Street Clinic for calming my daughter in law before her abortion. She told me everyone was really delightful helping her to relax and answered all the "silly" questions
Guneet Singh: Had the worst experience with this clinic, my partner went in for the procedure and called me after it was finished crying and completely distraught. She advised the the practice manager named Sherly was very rude and unhelpful. She told my girlfriend her hands were chubby. Which is such a setback for someone who has been suffering from an eating disorder. We’ve been working with many therapist to over come this eating disorder and this has set her back so much. This is highly unprofessional and I even contacted the clinic to make a complaint but the same lady (practice manger - Sherly) answered she advised I can make the complaint with her. I advised her I am not comfortable to do that and asked if I can speak to someone else. She said no and proceeded to disconnected the call.
Angel A: I sought care from this clinic and had an IUD Mirena inserted under sedation. I cannot fault the clinical staff who took care of me. The nurses Joyce, Jade, and the doctors were absolutely lovely and thorough. They spent time educating me and allowed me time to ask questions. The process was a little longer than anticipated but overall okay.Unfortunately what ruined the experience was the receptionist/practice manager. Even during my initial call she was short with me, hardly ran through the process and booked me in super quickly. Did not try to provide reassurance or explain the procedure and what the whole day would look like as a patient. I called to complain and spoke to a lovely nurse who advised me MULTIPLE complaints have been made regarding her behaviour (please read previous reviews which states the same). She even told me that this particular receptionist is also the practice manager so I couldn’t make a further complaint. The nurse talked me through the day, reassured me about all of the information and let me know she would pass my feedback onto the doctors. On the day of my appointment this receptionist/practice manager had the nerve to tell me my hands were chubby and I told her it was rude and that she doesn’t know how that could affect someone. She then proceeded to gaslight me by telling me “I’m just trying to be sweet with you. I’m not calling you chubby, your hands”. Who in the world wants to hear that? In a vulnerable state, before going under for a procedure with no support person. She even described herself as a “grumpy old b*tch” as she fussed over papers and calls directly in front of me. She is extremely rude (even over the phone, as other reviews can attest) and I watched her interactions with other patients which fluctuated but overall has extremely bad customer service and not a warm, reassuring woman despite the type of clinic it is.The position of the front desk is right in the waiting room so EVERYONE can hear your details/conversations.I hope I am contacted by someone (not the practice manager, who I will not name) with some type of reassurance. Something needs to be done, it affected me so much and she has no clue how she speaks can affect someone so bad. I have suffered with an eating disorder for years and hearing that from her has made me not eat a single thing. Absolutely awful. It is such a shame. Even the nurse I spoke to told me she speaks like that to everyone, even the staff. Disgusting.
Johannie Chauffrey: Wonderful doctors and very well organised the only problem in this clinic the two lady's at the front are always very rude and not nice it's such a shame to have unfriendly staff in a place where girls should feel good.
Oya Guney: Women reproductive health is an area I tend to be nervous about and feel the need to be in professional hands. I am very impressed with the doctor's competency and grateful for the overall care provided.
Josh Graham: I called to check when my partner would be ready as I was concerned, without putting me on hold she asked her colleague “how long to that black girl is ready”?
Levent Guney: I am grateful for the very professional and caring service from the doctor and the friendly staff.

The Private Clinic: what do users think?
Laila X: I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who also finds themselves in my situation.I went in for a surgical termination. I was feeling scared and ashamed but everyone was so kind, professional, welcoming, and non-judgemental. The appropriate staff at each stage always checked in on me and made sure I was comfortable and informed. They really took care of me and I'm so appreciative of it, given that it's such an emotional moment. My appointment there was handled so smoothly and with such efficiency.I'd like to thank the doctor and the anaesthesiologist for handling me with such care and kindness and extend that thanks to the administration team and the nurses.
ingrid rousseau: I can't recommend it highly enough! The secretary, nurse, anesthetist and doctor were all so kind and professional! I felt very comfortable every step of the way. Thank you so much!
Jina Karki: Can I please get your email address?
Cameron Stephens: Couldn’t recommend the private clinic enough, everyone is so professional. From the moment I walked in the nurses, doctors and receptionist were all so lovely and made the experience so easy and calming! For anyone who’s scared to do the procedure please don’t be! You don’t even remember falling asleep, and when you wake up everything is done and you don’t feel a thing. I had never had anaesthetic so I was quite nervous beforehand but I couldn’t thank the team enough for making a nerve racking and often scary procedure so relaxing and easy.Highly recommend the private clinic, thanks again ladies! xx
Erin Barber: Professional, non judgemental, caring, kind 5 star staff. They go above to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
Billie Verrier: Amazing , non judgemental caring professional staff. 5 star quality.
Holly Tuohy: Had the best experience at this clinic. I was so nervous to get my IUD removed and going under sedation for the first time but every single staff member made me feel so comfortable and I was incredibly taken care of. I'm recommending this place to every women I know.
Ky Simpson: Strongly advise to avoid this place at all costs. Incompetent staff who have absolutely no idea, Dr could not perform straight forward procedure simply because she didn’t listen to me repeatedly explain my situation, instead sent me on a wild goose chase. Dr is extremely dismissive to patient thinks she knows best - if you’re not a straightforward patient be prepared for a circus. In response to the Private Clinic - the purpose of my review is not to let people know that I was inconvenienced. Anyone who is considering to visit your clinic needs to be made aware of the incompetence of your staff. I provided Dr my medical history, pathology report from one week prior, previous ultrasound reports and images and she still couldn’t figure it out! Oh and the Dr who isn’t Russian called me, listened to what I had to say and agreed her own staff were indeed incompetent and unprofessional and offered me to come back to the Clinic and she would do the procedure herself lol how pathetic… that Dr was nice and one other nurse was absolutely lovely, everyone else is useless and an embarrassment to your clinic.
Sidra Siraj: Professional. Comforting staff. QuickDefinitely recommend it
Xavia Tankhilevich: I had a lovely experience here today. Professional, kind, gentle and efficient. Loved it, thanks so much!
Georgia M: Every single staff member at the Private Clinic is incredible and so kind. The Receptionist Jess is absolutely lovely and welcoming. They treat you so well. Would definitely recommend for any medical treatments.
Sarah_ sunflowers: This is the second time I’ve been at this clinic the first time was about 12 years ago and they were so kind and caring ,so when I needed their services again I felt comfortable choosing them and I must say they are even better than I remember, I was very anxious , scared and nervous this time around but they explain everything and did everything they could to make me feel safe and comfortable....
Claudia Rose: Booked in yesterday for a procedure. Spoke to the practice manager who told me its X amount to pay after medicare when I come into clinic, which I had ready to pay today, however the practice manager forgot to state the rebate comes in the following day, not instantly like many other clinics. The practice manager also provided me with medical advice over the phone regarding which procedure I should do based off the fact I have Haemophilia, which I can die from if losing too much blood or not correctly examined prior to entering surgery. I thought he was the Dr on the phone and now realise I was about to go through with a procedure with a Dr and clinic who literally based my medical situation on the opinion of a manager..... INSANE! It was such a traumatising experience to begin with, let alone being told the wrong information. I walked in, sat there for an hour in silence listening to the other girls cry and the receptionists talking about blood clots and patients with infections (umm.... bit scary to hear) , none of us could have partners or friends due to COVID, the Dr kept trying to force me to get an IUD or the pill even though I told her how horribly ill they made me, which she literally did not care about. The Dr literally runs into office after calling you and I had to stand in the hallway going hello where do I go. The Dr isnt informative, rushes, was running super late, showed up to the clinic around 9 am (my appt time to come in was 8:15am). Then when I had to pay and didn't have the money, the receptionists (one girl was her first day on the job) had no clue what they were doing and they had practice manager come to speak with me. He totally denied any negligence on his behaviour and said "he cant make exceptions for people". I don't believe giving wrong information and fixing that it "an exception". It's what is right. You work in a highly sensitive clinic filled with people who don't want to be there and are scared. To feel so humiliated and have 3 receptionists sit there and essentially tell you they wont do anything to help you, was more traumatising than having to be there anyway. No sensitivity to the woman and what she is experiencing, everyone was cold and you have a belligerent male running the clinic who has no empathy and lacks the skills to resolve issues and conflicts. I have worked for chiropractors, GP's and surgeons and there is always a resolution, its just depending on whether they are willing to help you. In this case, no one wanted to help and they acted like I should fork out the $500 because its my issue. I would like an apology direct from Practice Manager. This behaviour is unacceptable in this field and I hope no one else has to go through this ever again. There should consequences for clinics that obviously aren't there to help the woman and are just there to make some cash.
mahisasura arusasiham: We have done the termination on 25th Jan and the staffs confirmed everything have done properly. The nausea, vomiting and fever follows after 2 days and when we called they confirmed it has nothing to do with the surgery and ask us to go to local GP - literally they washed their hands. Now on 1st Feb, my blood results show hcg 48k and the ultrascan clearly exhibit incomplete product - which means they have done a sloppy job.
S F: I can honestly say that my experience today was wonderful. I have been here for both a termination and Mirena insertion. Understandably on occasion there has been a wait which you can expect in situations where they are running behind schedule for whatever reason - (things happen beyond their control sometimes which people really need to be mindful of and try to understand). I dealt with Dr Borksy today who was so polite, understanding and went over and above to ensure I was well taken care of. It’s sometimes hard to find doctors who have been in their field for so long to have empathy however she did not fail in this area. From the receptionist, to the nurses and anaesthetist, I was highly impressed with the level of care I received today. Thankyou once again to the wonderful team at The Private Clinic.
Ibrahim Ishaq: Why abortion should have been decriminalized lot before? Answer is simple, it could have been prevented birth like Dr. Zeldovich's. I think one of the reasons she is abruptly rude with people because she can see her shadow in the process which her parents could not undertake because of the law.Waiting not for 1 or 2 hours, 5 hours late. This procedure took 30-40 mins. Extra waiting time 5 hours. If you are planning to come consider bringing pillows, blankets and a bit of food so that you can have a picnic at the spot.
Ariana V: Great staff and service, my procedure was a success with no complications and I wasn’t there for terribly long
Nancy Frost: Really professional service I had n IUD and was very well taken care off by all the staff! Would recommend it highly !
Fira Gray: Whilst I found the nurses to be lovely, my experience was greatly dampened by the unprofessional rudeness of Dr Zeldovich. I attended the clinic twice within two weeks, the first time I had misheard the cost of the appointment when told over the phone. At this first appointment, Zeldovich was incredibly dismissive and condescending towards me.I returned 4 days later. Despite my early arrival of 7.45am I was in the waiting room until almost 9am, many of the other patients who had arrived after me being seen before me regardless of my 8.00am appointment time. Upon consultation with Zeldovich I was asked if I was "going to waste her time again". She then failed to follow the procedure of asking if I had any questions or queries, and despite seeing her comment had upset me only spoke a sentence to me before sending me away. I felt that she did not fulfil her role in ensuring I was properly treated. Despite her incredibly hurtful behaviour towards a young girl in a vulnerable situation, the rest of the staff were incredibly kind.
E E: Highly recommend this clinic and I am so grateful I was under the care of the staff here. I truly felt comfortable and at ease; I had felt that my procedure went quickly and without any complications. The receptionist was incredibly patient, reliable, helpful and informative. All of the nurses were friendly, caring and nurturing, insuring that I was comfortable and offered me refreshments after my procedure. Each staff member informed me on everything I needed to know, and took the time to make sure they know what was happening to accurately inform me and answer all of my questions.
Zoe Jackson: For anyone nervous I must highly recommend this clinic. I was confident on my choice in an abortion but anxious about the procedure. I was warmly welcomed into a luscious waiting room. I then spoke to the Dr (I believe this is the harsh blonde Dr people have spoken about. I see how some might receive her that way. However, I found her to be formal, professional and exactly who i'd want performing an abortion). Then I got changed and onto the final stages before my procedure. I found all the nurses to be caring and the two anesthesiologists to be incredibly warm and not once rushing me (although I was the first of many). After my procedure I woke up in a haze however I had as much time as I wanted to relax. When I stated I was in pain (cramps) they rushed to give me some pain medication and check that I was ok. I was offered tea, coffee or juice and some biscuits. They were happy to comply with my ask for multiple options. :)I know this is a long review but this is not an easy thing to do no matter how set you may be on your decision it can still be hard to decide where to go. If I have eased someones mind that's all that matters. Also, as with all clinics, you may encounter a protester. This cannot be avoided where ever you go. Hold your head high and do not let them deter you. It is your body, your choice and your decision. Whatever decision you make do it inside in the privacy away from prying eyes.

Marie Stopes Australia - Westmead: what do users think?
nadal raajal: Got my Grandfather aborted today, he told us he didn't want to go but we could not afford him so we aborted him.
Kusum Rishi: Be prepared to wait for 2-2.5 hrs before you will be seen by nurse/doctor
Matthew Thorn: The appointment and care I received on the day was great, post surgery very little pain, however, I had to have a post vasectomy test 3 months after the surgery which cannot be dropped of at just any pathology place. I am now 6 weeks post that test and I can't get the results from MSI. You're on hold for at least 20 minutes every time and the people answering the call don't know how to get results.
joshua finauvala: Don’t kill your baby! If you need support reach out to me! Save your babies life!!!
Jade Lipscombe: All lovely kind accommodating staff. With a special mention to Nurse Stephanie for her Amazing bedside manner- I was acting all crazy and emotional but you put my mind at ease. You are wonderful at what you do and worth your weight in gold I can't thankyou enough 🙂
Mingxi Lewis-Hou: Excellent experience from beginning to end, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who were thorough and helpful at every step. The space also felt safe and welcoming, and plenty of time was allowed for recovery post-procedure.
Rebecca: All the staff are very friendly and professional. Dr Donna is amazing and looks after her patients very well. The nurses are also caring and made sure I was good before I left the clinic.
Emily G: Please consider relaxing your covid 19 rules around not allowing a support person to wait in the clinic, especially for a procedure that is so upsetting for a lot of women. This was a very traumatic and emotional day for me and I’m sure many others, crying in a waiting room alone and waiting for 2 hours before you’re even seen. It is 2022 and even emergency departments at hospitals allow visitors.
Comms: Don’t trust this place. Bad service and not responsible.
Rachael Brook: I waited over two hours to be seen by anyone.. I'm only not rating this a 1 because the ladies are nice.
Joanna Jackson: Every single member of staff i came into contact with last saturday were nothing short of caring and understanding, professional and kind. The male anesthetist in particular was amazing and so supportive. Yes there was a bit of a wait but nothing I wasn't already advised of when booking an appointment. But thank you for making a horrible situation so much better !
Alena Thomson: Absolutely pathetic... travel over 4 hrs for a first booked appointment. Put other people through first and keep me waiting. Staff are rude and ignorantWould not recommend
Susie Bowen: These people are so amazing !Professional and personalSupportiveNo matter your situation they really do care
Stacey Anderson: I had a medical termination last month, this month I went to hospital with huge amount of blood loss and at least 10cm blood clots. I ended up having a DNC as there was product left over. I spent 3 days in hospital, away from my 6month old and 9 year old and I wasnt allowed to see them cause of covid restrictions, which is understandable. On the day of the termination I was ready to go in and the guy who put me off to sleep told me he was tired, after I said hi how are you. Incompetent,he shouldn't have been on that day. I have put in a complaint and waiting on a call. DISGUSTING,never again
Greg Coorey: Highly recommend their services. So professional, so friendly and much much better than i expected.
Vivian Su: I've been here before and had pain free surgery but this time it hurt when Dr. Phillip Goldstone replaced my contraception as he was putting the anesthetic needle in it hurt whilst doing so and then half way through he had to put the aesthetic needle inand again it hurt.. then he had to put 2 bandages and a compression bandage (normally just 1 bandage and he had to scurry round to look for scissorsto cut the compressionbandage).. my arm was bruised and hurting as well as my emotions. I just asked Dr. Phillip Goldstone "Is there temporary contraception for men?" He replied "No, coz men don't get pregnant and they don't like it".. At that moment i was wondering if he actually was a doctor! No respect! On the other note, a nurse was friendly and reassuring telling me the doctor will come back in a sec. The receptionists were friendly over the phone and in person but on the phone they said it can be bulk billed then in person they said it can't (pretty sure it was different receptionist) and I wish they told me earlier that it'd be a 2hr wait before they asked me to pay.Last time, I had a male doctor replace my contraception it was fine.. Maybe due ro lockdow n some of them have their bad days, need a holiday, see a psychologist, hangry or that's just the way they are.. But please, some of them need to be more professional and people don't want bad experiences.
Kumar Gupta: I like to say Big Thank to Dr Matthew Masterson for doing a painless surgery, surprisingly easier then taking a Covid Vaccine. It was a Amazing experience. Thank you to all Nurses and other Team at Marie Stops for providing wonderful service.
Lynette: The ladies at the counter were absolutely wonderful, warm and welcoming. Made me feel like I was in a safe space which was amazing. First nurse I seen was extremely patient and kind at explaining everything and educating me on different birth control. Second nurse I seen was amazing and patient during the procedure, helped calm me down and had some giggles. What made my experience overall the best was the 2 ladies that greeted me in the procedure room. They held my hand during the procedure, reassured me everything is okay and was just there like a support person which I think is amazing. Thankyou guys for making something I was terrified of a comforting experience. Couldn't have picked a better place.. 💙💙
m m.: Very professional staff. They know very well about their jobs. Special thanks to Dr. Kevin, Andrian, Sara, Carly and Ayen.
Keval Donga: It is the worst treatment providers. No result only high charges.
April Shedden: Fit me in for my procedure in a timely manner, provided me with all the information before and on the day every interaction was pleasant and professional. First nurse I spoke with was very matter of fact and procedural which was fine and every one after her was very warm and kind.

Marie Stopes Sydney: what do users think?
laleh naghipour: So bad my appointment was at 11 it’s 12 still waiting it’s so disappointing. There’s no long hours parking in the area so I parked my car in Wilson parking and I’m sure it’s gonna cost me $100 for couple hours ($35 for half an hour unfortunately ).I have 2 years old daughter she was crying for me and I still waiting.
Nanu Bashyal: Worst waiting time ever
Nik Jo: Terrible over priced. Rude receptionist. Waiting hours since my appointment time.
Richard Hottes: Hidden costs. Make sure to have an extra $2000+ after getting quoted.
Angus M: I was very happy with the procedure itself and its execution by the Dr but I am now months after the procedure left with no results on the efficacy of the procedure and left in complete limbo by Marie Stopes. Extremely poor aftercare. Sadly, I would not recommend them due to this ongoing negative experience.
*SHE SCREAM*: friendly staff, extremely helpful and absoloutely 0 judgment whatsoever from staff which was important as i was 15 and going through a terrible time in my life. only improvement id say is maybe have special waiting areas for those who are underage. I got the most judgemental look from the girl sitting across from me which made me want to cry and still hurts me one year later.
Yining Hu: The nurse was behaving like a judge. When I was trying to provide a considerate answer to her questions, she decided I was not ready. Then she explained device/hormone-based contraceptions (which is expected), I also said why we don't think it's a good idea. So she decided that I'm trying to get pregnant. I mean seriously? During the whole process, she also didn't seem to be satisfied with my English skills. Of course there are words and expressions I don't know and I make lots of mistakes, but I don't have any problem understanding her words, her tone, her face and her gestures, and I can express myself perfectly in this situation - to someone who actually listens. I was so distracted and felt like the nurse was the decision maker and couldn't focus on making my own decision. The doctor was ok.
Mr Amditis: All in all it has been a very pleasant experience considering my circumstance. The staff had been extremely helpful and utterly kind! They explained thoroughly to me every step of the procedure I was to undergo.I was quite convinced right from the beginning that I could rely on Dr Andrew Chang for a successful outcome. Upon being discharged I was given clear instructions as to how to deal with the post-surgery period.I'm glad I opted to have my procedure done at the Sydney Day Hospital! My heartfelt thank you to everyone there!
Anna Kosarewska: Doctor and nurses where very careful and informative. Very good service. I felt very safe and comfortable.
Jesse Douglass: Very friendly and professional service. No real pain at for any part of the procedure under local anaesthesia. Significantly less discomfort than for a standard vaccination.
Imxohail: Receptionist is extremely rude and mean. Doesn’t even have the basic customer dealing ethics.Doctor and nurses are super polite, helpful and understanding. Full marks for their professionalism.Suggestion: Have a kids play area in the building if not clinic.
Laurie Koudstaal: If you’re thinking about getting a vasectomy, I highly recommend Marie Stopes.I had a vasectomy last year at Marie Stopes in the city. Throughout the screening process I felt I was not being judged, or second guessed for mine and my wife’s decision. The actual surgery was quick and I only experienced a little aching. Recovery was quick and I didn’t feel much pain. The surgeon, nurses and team were all very helpful and friendly. Follow up care was good. I took a while to get my post vasectomy samples to the pathologist, but they would send me periodic reminders and, when I finally did get around to it, they followed up with me quickly.
Nick Plomp: Great experience with Justin and his team. Really good service before, during and after the procedure. They make it very funny and lighthearted while you’re in. Just leaves me wondering why I didn’t do this earlier. Thanks!
Evan Wills: Super friendly staff put you at ease from the moment you walk in. Nurses and doctor talk you through the procedure. The doctor specialises in vasectomies and you can really tell.To say the experience was pleasant sounds weird but the nurses and doctor was so friendly and the procedure was painless that it really was. (There was some mild discomfort at times but the anaesthetic meant the really wasn't any pain and I didn't even notice the anaesthetic go in.)I've done some silly thing in my time that have required visits to the doctor or hospital. I'd take a vasectomy any day. Even over something as simple as a sprained ankle. It's now day two and there's some mild discomfort but much less than when my daughter kicked a soccer ball which got me in the groin when I want paying attention a couple of weeks ago. I'm also enjoying having an excuse to really do nothing but lie down and also
Kon Kyselov: Went in for a vasectomy, flawless experience. Pretty cheap compare to some urologists.Didn't even feel when they started, local anaesthetic was more then enough. In and out within 1.5hrsDefinitely recommend for blokes.
Laura Stoll: Faultless experience. Clean environment with friendly, informative and professional staff.
Gary Hughes: Went into centre for vasectomy with natural apprehension, but post op can easily say I've experienced more pain donating blood. The team are specialists and excellent at their job. The procedure was over before I knew it. Also nice to know profits from australia go to supporting poorer parts of the world. Highly recommended.
Karel Nolles: I had an excellent experience getting a vasectomy. Much less painful than anticipated. Fully recommend them.
Cindy Mai: I was very comfortable with my decision to terminate - a burden lifted off my shoulders. Thank you for being compassionate and understanding. I woke up with a huge sense of relief and happy to move on with my life.
Nicolas Chiew: I approached my vasectomy with a degree of nervousness that I'm sure many other men would experience. The team at Marie Stopes (Macquarie Street) put me at ease with their professional and courteous manner.I can say that the procedure was essentially pain-free which was a great relief!Thank you to the whole team at Marie Stopes Macquarie Street.
Millie Munro: I visited this clinic for advise on contraception, the doctor was very informative and patient, explaining every option in detail. I came away confident with my decision. I would highly recommend.
