Priya Vakil: Had a faulty item I needed exchanged, and when I realised I’d purchased from David Jones county road instead of the actual store they even called ahead to David Jones Elizabeth street to let them know I was coming and had the new item ready for me to exchange before I even got there. Amazing customer service from both teams and super understanding and kind staff!

Anna McGhee: I went into the store on Tuesday as I had bought a pair of pants and the tags were left on by another store. The dark haired lady removed it and wrapped my white jeans nicely. I also bought some Xmas gifts that the lady also wrapped nicely. Her customer service was amazing. Went in today to purchase more and the lady that served me was less than sub-par. Nose upturned and haughty. Blonde haired older woman. Made me feel very uncomfortable shopping there. She needs to take a class in customer service.

T P: The customer service was absolutely pathetic even though the number of staff far exceeded the number of customers. J wasn't greeted or offered any assistance and worse still the staff appeared to be looking down their noses at me...not sure if my expensive down coat was too low brow for them. They best realise that brick and mortar retail requires staff to provide good service. Had I not been buying a present that had been specifically requested I would 100% have left.

Incredibly rude!Winter last year, I was exchanging a cream coloured cashmere jumper, for another cashmere jumper in a different style. When the jumper arrived they analysed mine with a fine tooth comb, noticing spots that hadn't been there previously, declaring mine unfit for resale - they then kept mine (ie, what was MY PROPERTY) in the store for several days, refusing to contact me, or answer the phone when I tried to contact them. (I was NEVER apologised to. I was a very loyal customer - a gold member, but I've given up on most of that now*)My only option was to contact head office and mention the fact that they had my property, I was unable to talk to them, and we'd made arrangements for an exchange.Since that event, I've lost an incredible amount of respect for Country Road, especially its stores. Staff should know that their treatment of customers has a lasting impression!I prefer to purchase online, but even that has its problems - things arrive sooner when they're shipped from the UK, than when ordered from CR, pandemic or no pandemic. People will always shop online more or less than before COVID-19. Doesn't explain why overseas companies are far more efficient than CR.*See my review of CR QVB

Nathalie Winder: I usually love Country Road and I totally understand the issues they are having with their online orders and have had to cancel mine as it's been four weeks and counting. What I don't appreciate is that there is no click and collect options in Sydney CBD stores and no one answers the phone at Pitt Street or QVB. There is no customer service at all. Very disappointing. Every other retailer picks up their phones! Definitely room to improve.

Dab Master YT: It’s a great store! They have great service and a brilliant range of products! They have a quiet environment with helpful staff that fill your every need in a store that does the same. Even though it has all of that it has no life. I felt hat something is missing to make it better.

Sim 1: I ordered 6 country road items on 8th December and am still waiting for complete delivery. So far I have received 2 packages with the items screwed up in balls and am still waiting for the last item with no word from Country Road despite several email enquiries. Would strongly discourage anyone from ordering Country Road online

I walked in today (26 October around 10am) and was instantly fat shamed being told I should use stairs instead of an escalator to get up a level based on my appearance. This is disgraceful customer service and offensive. This is not the only review expressing this so it’s time to get new staff! Deplorable. The old woman should be ashamed and maybe look in the mirror next time she wants to attack someone with no reason

The female staff (I believe there was only her in the mens section) who was wearing red top and blackish scarf was there but she didn’t greet us even though she saw us. We stayed there for 10-15 minutes and I noticed that she didn’t greet Asian customers at all but she was friendly to non-Asian customers.My friend wanted to try some pairs of chino on but she kept ignoring us even when there was no customers.So we went to another Country Road on Pitt St.

2935 L: The staff was very rude, an old lady. My daughter wanted to try the jacket and it was the only one on the display table. She just threw it at me. This is so rude. I bought a lot of Country Road clothes, but I have never encountered such bad service. How does this company manage its staff? I will never go there again.

Amy Li: Always have been hesitant to go to Country Road due to their lack of customer service and discriminating staff members. Once again they proved to be keeping that record going. My husband, daughter & I was there today. Spent a minimum of 10 mins looking at a handbag in the shoe section area. My daughter was trying it on. A staff member within 1.5 meters was there the whole time. Did not greet us, did not offer any assistance. Totally ignored us. She was not serving anyone, just stood there. Worst service or lack of ever. I’d give them ZERO stars if I could.

(I'm a gold member, if that's supposed to mean anything - aka loyalty). Passed onto a junior staff member, who was around 15 (appeared that old), and incredibly rude as well. Walked out of store almost in tears.Went back fortnight later and returned everything, nevermind more than $100 worth of loyalty points! Sick to death of it all. The other 2 Staffs who served me didn’t know what they are doing and i tried to explain to them there was miscalculation, they still couldn’t understand and told me i was wrong.. finally Laura, the manager came and she found out what the staffs did wrong and laura Corrected the payment straight away.. Laura’s customer Service was so Wonderfull and laura kept Apologised to me when the other 2 staffs didn’t say Sorry to me at all.. thank you again Laura for your Awesome Customer Service

Their ranges each season are lovely and I find that Country Road clothing lasts, the quality is excellent. Their Jeans and pants especially. The Country Road section in David Jones is well set out. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful.

Mark Barnes: Service was great, dinner suit is great. However, I scored them a 2 as there was no effort to upsell me. There are no package deals available. The owner has no interest meeting his customer's needs or increasing the average customer spend. If offered for the right price, I would have added a wing collar shirt, bow tie, belt and possibly shoes. I was already in the store. Make it count. A percentage of something is much better than 100% of nothing. My $300 sale could easily have been doubled.
