Polite Paws Dog Training, Puppy Preschool, Manners Classes & Behaviour Modification: what do users think?
Wing Chong: Lisa is amazing! Will be back for sure, we love the bush walk!
Verushka Byrow: Polite Paws was a such a treasure to find when I got my new pup. Online classes allowed me to train him at home, and to see how other dogs reacted without my pup getting stressed out in class. Lisa helped me understand him better, and I can't thank her enough!
Erica Chung: Lisa is a passionate trainer who equips you with the most important life skills for your puppy. Would recommend her a thousand times over.
Holly Usher: Lisa is such an encouraging, friendly and patient trainer. I highly recommend her classes for any dog training needs. Everything is explained in a straight forward way that it just makes sense and the dogs just get it.
Anita C: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Value
Craig Kaneen: I’ve no doubt Lisa is good dog trainer but she could definitely use some customer service training herself. I contacted Lisa by text the day of our 3rd class to ask if we could possibly move to another slot. The 8pm Thursday slot doesn’t work great for us with work and our pup is usually falling asleep or super hyped because he’s over tired. I contacted by text as Lisa had text me on week 2 to advise she was sick so I thought a txt message would be acceptable. Lisa was pretty rude from the start of the exchange, would offer to change one week but could not put us into another class permanently. In the end she told me she didn’t have time for my questions. I asked for a refund for the remainder of the class but this wasn’t possible. We took George out of the class anyway. The time slot, the virtual format and the attitude of the trainer wasn’t really working for us. We can find other means to train George. YouTube is actually a godsend for dog training considering all classes are virtual at the moment anyway. And it’s free!!
Joyce Lee: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness
Rodney Gooch: I have known Lisa for many years as a professional dog trainer. I have worked with Lisa as part of the KONG Advisor Program for KONG dog toys. As a professional dog trainer she has the knowledge, skills and professionalism to deliver exceptional training programs for puppies to adult dogs, assist with behavioral issues and more. Her retail business has the greatest range of premium dog gear and the largest range of quality enrichment products at great prices of any online store in Australia. If you want the best forget the rest, just get your dog and yourself to her classes!
Dianne Lo: I took my puppy to Puppy Classes and when she was older to the Manners Classes by Polite Paws.Lisa is professional, super up-to-date with all the current research and training methods, and also a very nice person. She cares dearly for all dogs and that is evident in everything she does. She teaches things you might not think about when getting a puppy, like accustoming it to touch so when it gets groomed or goes to the vet it doesn't freak out, as well as all the usual things. She teaches you to teach your puppy/dog to be calm, to be well behaved and anything you ask she is happy to oblige. My friend got a 5 year old rescue dog and I sat in on the online classes with her. The online class is just as good, and probably better, as the dogs are easier to train because the dog isn't being distracted by the other dogs. Even more so when you have a dog that has anxiety/issues around other dogs.I highly recommend Polite Paws Dog Training.
Sara L: My dog had a head start to his good behaviour thanks to Polite paws!
Janna Thomas: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueIf your looking to train your dog highly recommend going to see Lisa, she was so amazing , answered all our we had with a smile, We seen results instantly, So thankful for doing the training was definitely worth it for us!
Grace Ang: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueLisa is incredibly knowledgeable and runs her classes exceptionally well. We completed the Life Skills manners class and have learned very valuable lessons every dog owner should know. Thank you for sharing your expertise and humour with us, Lisa! Our dog is calmer and happier because of these classes
Nicole Low: Lisa is a very knowledgeable dog trainer and her methods produce lasting results. She is hands down the best dog trainer, with an understanding of dog psychology, and how to get the best out of our dogs, force-free. I didn't understand why some things were taught, but as the sessions progressed, I saw why Lisa teaches the way she does and why she focuses on certain things. It's not enough to have a dog who can come, sit, stay. Lisa teaches us to teach our dogs to deal with their frustration, to learn patience, to accept that they can't always get their own way, and to be calm and happy at the vet.I did puppy pre-school in-person in Earlwood and the Life Skills online. I wasn't sure about not having in-person for Life Skills. But I didn't want to go to anyone else so I signed up for online. No regrets. The information and the lessons were still more valuable than anything I could've gotten elsewhere in person.Lisa is pretty direct about what we need to do. She LOVES dogs and doesn't mince words with humans. No dog is going to magically become well-trained, well-behaved overnight unless we practice a lot. If you're willing to put in the time and effort, along with Lisa's methods, you will get results that will last you the rest of your dog's life. I was, and am, very impressed with Lisa's methodology and philosophy, and I can't recommend Polite Paws enough.
Brandon Torok: Highly recommendMe and my pup max had the pleasure of meeting Lisa from polite paws and our experience was amazingShe is very passionate, and knowledgeable in this fieldShe provided many solutions and training to help with my puppies anxiety and we both greatly appreciate it I do recommend you won't be disappointed
Sue Smith: I was so nervous trying live online with my deaf doggo but the classes were perfect. Lisa takes the time to watch and coach each participant individually. Her knowledge is clearly the most up to date and science based. The best part was, being in my own home, my usually nervous dog was able to concentrate, we didn't have to go on a car ride, which she still is unsure about (Lisa had help for that too), and the lack of travel time was a real bonus for me. We have learned some great skills to practise moving forward. I'll be back for another term with my other dog for sure! Lisa, you're the best!!
Jessica Simpson: Positive:Professionalism,QualityI’ve had a wonderful experience using Lisa to learn how to train my dog. She is able to understand the root cause of any behavior problem and come up with an effective solution. You may have to put the work in but you know you will see results. You can’t go wrong with choosing her as your dog behavioralist
KTM ACCESS: Looking for training your new addition to the fam well this is the place to go. Lisa is preety switched on and actually has devoted a major part of her life to learn about pups and their behaviour. You get a lot of tools to work with this overwhelming change and the best part is after u graduate u can always hit her up and she supplies you with endless tools to overcome your concern. This was the best investment everrrr......
Georgina Stafford: Positive:QualityI highly recommend the classes as Polite Paws, Lisa is professional, knowledgeable, adaptable and most of all I love how the training is positive science based reinforcement. I think it is a must for all new puppy owners and it has even helped in the way we train our older dogs aswell. A big thank you from Disco the pomchi!
Steverod603: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,ValueWe found Lisa to be a highly motivated and energetic individual. She took the time to explain everything. During the challenging circumstances surrounding COVID-19 Lisa still delivered an exceptional 5 week course. I highly recommend polite and paws for anyone who is looking to learn the basics and understand why your puppy acts up.
Susan Hudson: Lisa enabled my whippet Mireille to be able to live in a lively household with lots of cats and visitors! -there is no doubt i would have been way out of my depth without the fantastic "Polite Paws" puppy preschool lessons that have been so important in establishing a firm foundation of how to be a delightful dog- (most of the time lol)...I will be coming back for "life lessons" in the future! Lisa runs a very professional, kind, informative & essential dog training school...highly recommend!
Barnes Walker: Positive:Professionalism,QualitySpent 5 weeks training our 10 week old mini schnauzer and we couldn't have been happier with the results. So many valuable lessons and a great introduction to life with a puppy.

Paws And Think Animal Training: what do users think?
Brianna Murphy: I can not recommend Shelley enough! All the reviews are 1000% spot on. Shelley is an incredible teacher for both puppies and owners.
Tiffany Duarte: Amazing, caring, lovely trainer who had my dog in the palm of her hand from the get-go. Lots of fabulous, generous advice and encouragement. Highly recommended.
Lauren Smith: Shelley is fantastic. She really went above and beyond in providing some helpful advice for me and my young border collie pup. We did the puppy school training and 2 months on, with some helpful guidance, my little beastie Luce is behaving less like Lucifer and is starting to resemble somewhat of an angel. Highly recommend Shelley. She’s very knowledgeable, kind and her classes were genuinely enjoyable. Don’t hesitate to book in with Paws and Think.
justine mccarthy: Best trainer in the Inner West
Angela Nguyen: I would highly recommend puppy school with Shelley.Went through four sessions of puppy school with Shelley for my mini foxie and had the best time. She has extensive knowledge on puppy training and dog behaviour. She understands first time dog owner's concerns and takes the time to address them to ensure everyone starts on the right foot. Shelley is also very personable but will be straight forward when needed which I really appreciated.Would love for my dog to go through other training sessions with Shelley in the future!
William Bergamo: The Best Dog Trainer around, all about positive reinforcement and what is best for your dog. Her classes are great and fun, also the private sessions you can learn a lot from. Highly recommend
L: Shelley is absolutely amazing. She really cares about every aspect of your dogs wellbeing and goes above and beyond in everything she does. She creates a strong bond with every puppy in her class and that creates a solid foundation for training. My puppy Peanut adores her! Couldnt recommend Paws and Think enough!
Caitlin Cowan: Shelley is amazing! She is so knowledgeable, with so many tricks to make training that much easier, and explained everything super clearly. All the dogs in the class responded so well to her. As first time dog owners we learned so much from her and our puppy Ziggy loved it, was worth every penny and more. Thanks so much for getting us started on the right foot!!
Isabelle Ulliana: Shelley was such an amazing trainer! We couldn't have asked for a better guide in those first few weeks of puppy life. Not only did she provide so many informative and comprehensive notes on what to expect with a new puppy and how to train them, she really provided insight into what humans as trainers can do to improve the skills of their puppies and dogs - 'set your dog up to succeed!' Despite the challenges with Covid and the lockdown not being able to complete all our classes in person, we still felt like we got the most we could out of puppy school with Shelley. If you have a puppy or are going to get one make sure you go to Shelley's puppy class, you won't regret it!
Sophie Cutler: I cannot recommend Shelley highly enough. The way she facilitates her puppy school is realistic, logical, productive and amazingly fun. I love that she explains the WHY behind different training methods. Our Spoodle puppy (and us!) responded so well to her methods - we learnt SO much in 5 weeks... I wish it were longer :) She is also so generous with her knowledge and time. We cannot wait to book her older dog classes. An absolute superstar!
Darren Healey: My partner and I recently attended a 5 week puppy school class with our 4 month old puppy. Shelly's guidance, advice, written resources and tips have been a revelation and definitely mate the process of bringing up a puppy less daunting. Shelly really cares for the welfare of dogs and this comes across in the teachings in the class.Having talked with other dog owners that have attended other puppy schools Shelly definitely has stretched us as puppy parents and provided us with amazing techniques that really help.At $250 for the 5 classes it's very very worth it!!!
Kev Tran: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueWe loved Shelley's advanced puppy school. Shelley and Adriana were very attentive to each pup. Appreciated the accountability as it forced us to practice in between classes. Highly recommended
Natalie Fiorini: Before we started classes with Shelly, we were, to be quite honest, a little at a loss with out pup. We did our best to teach her the basics and while she wasn't a naughty pup, she was just not responding. We were becoming quite frustrated and overwhelmed. We signed up with Shelly's class and from day dot, I felt like I could, just maybe, be in control of training my puppy. Over the weeks, Shelly was patient, welcoming and made even my sometimes overwhelmed pup settle and follow through with the class. I felt supported and felt the bond with my puppy grow. We've just finished up our 5 week course and I couldn't recommend it more highly. The 5 weeks were fun, informative and while there was homework ( for pup and owner) it has without a doubt put my little doggo on the right track. Would recommend entirely.
Joshua Grech: Do yourself a favour and book yourself a spot! Paws And Think Dog Training was above and beyond what I had ever imagined. The dedication and patience Shelley showed was amazing. Much, much more than your average puppy school training!
Maria: Ari and I loved puppy school. Thank you Shelley for your knowledge and fun classes.
Michael Paic: Shelley of 'Paws & think Dog training' was recommended to me by a good friend from a Vet hospital as being one of, if not the best trainer in Sydney.Even though it was around 40 minutes from home, I only wanted the best for my Puppy, as I'm sure every pet owner would want for there fur baby. I'm super glad I did, we learnt a lot over the weeks. My Puppy now has skills for life, and as an owner, I too have been taught a lot. I think we humans need the most training!! Lol..I would recommend Shelley to anyone who wants the best for their pets. I now am the proud owner of a smart & attentive puppy, and I too actually know what to do!! I have to admit, I didn't before these classes!Shelley makes learning fun.I would recommend Shelley to anyone. Thanks for the awesome job you did with us Shelley.Lots of licks from 'Kiki' (Border collie x kelpie) & thanks from Me. :)
Cathy Ding: Shelley is an amazing trainer who is highly knowledgeable and professional. She gave us heaps of additional information to help with some of our concerns and the puppy course taught us the foundations for the life skills we will need with our puppy. Would highly recommend!
Nick and Rhi: Shelley is awesome !!! Our puppy is a handful and everything we learnt in the course worked!! Highly recommend even if your pup is great - very helpful !
James Morrison (Cheltaran): Shelly was fantastic, really loved her puppy class.
Rob Simpson: Shell was amazing! It was unreal to see the improvement of behaviour week by week, and the amount valuable info that is provided is fantastic. Owning my first puppy was pretty daunting, but the classes were really reassuring. I seriously can't recommend enough - perfect!
Paul Araujo: Shelley is awesome!!! Our puppy loves her and has learnt so much in her classes! She has given us all the fundamental training and tips needed for our puppy. We are already booked into another class with her in a few months and look forward to the ongoing training and support! Also the Prices she charges are fantastic and well worth all her time, expertise and effort she puts in to each class! You feel right at home and comfortable with Shelley right from the start! Thanks again and very very highly recommended for any training needs!

Surry Hills Puppy School by The Dog Sessions: what do users think?
Rebecca Moody: I had a great experience at puppy school! I have a little chihuahua and it was amazing to see her confidence and social skills grow over the 4 weeks. The trainer, Frédéric was very caring and informative. My puppy and I had lots of fun!
Lexi: We spent great time and learnt a lot. Our puppy FIFA loves going there every time. I highly recommend the dog sessions and the trainer Caroline!
Nat Be: Horrible experience. Took my puppy to that place a year ago, had my money back after the first session. I’ve got a mini dachshund, sweet and gentle dog, just a little bit anxious which is pretty common for that breed. Not only the trainer didn’t do anything to make me and my pup feel comfortable but he was ignoring us throughout the class and didn’t even let us in the room where other dogs and owners were sitting altogether. I got an impression that the trainer is not competent enough to deal with dogs with attitude. Now, when we have a great trainer I understand how absolutely wrong was that day at school. Watch “It’s me or the dog” instead of going there and save yourself a penny.
Helene Herbert: Caroline was amazing with our mini schnauzer. The puppy pre-school environment is chaotic but she ensures she fills the entire hour with practical info and tips. After the lessons she then sends all the notes for you to hold onto plus helpful links. It’s given our puppy a fantastic start.
Rebecca Allen: Fantastic training for our new puppy, she learnt so many new tricks and positive behavioural tips. Us as puppy parents learnt so much from the trainers also, the trainers were so knowledgeable and able to answer lots of questions regarding implementing behavioural techniques which really supported her positive behaviour in the home. They were also extremely accomodating by offering zoom sessions if you couldn’t attend in person.
David Conrad: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessSuch a great experience bringing our little Cavoodle to puppy school here! Couldn't recommend more highly
Amanda Charlton: I would highly recommend puppy school with Caroline and the Dog Sessions.Caroline was wonderful at training the puppies (and more importantly, us pawrents!) and also provided useful advice with the day-to-day toilet training, toys and treat ideas and just the everyday things in raising a puppy.Class was small so the puppies could learn with some distraction/socialisation but not ever be overwhelmed. Socialisation is so important at this age but difficult without vaccinations etc so this was a really great opportunity to socialise my pup. Both Coco and I had a great time each week and learnt so much. Thank you!!!
Sharif Fayad: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueVery professional, informative and gentle with the puppies. Would definitely recommend!
Jefferson Google: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueWe loved puppy school with Frédéric. It was a very warm, personal environment at Surry Hills. We learned so much and had fun doing it. Especially our happy little French bulldog graduate, Disco.
Tamara wells: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Value
Klyn2980: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,Value
Georgia Harding: Had a wonderful time with the "Dog Sessions" - lovely, effective trainers with lots of time for socialising, they provide treats for your pup for each session which is an added bonus!
Adeline Lau: The classes were great, the size of the classes were kept small (3 to 5 puppies max). Quite well organised and flexible with us changing dates due to our puppy being sick with a cold/flu. We started our puppy around the 14 week mark and would probably have gotten more out of it if we had started around the 10-11 week point. Overall good experience and decent priced.
Rose Dee: I would highly recommend puppy school with Caroline and the Dog Sessions.Caroline creates a such a safe and comfortable environment for the puppies – she helped our fearful puppy Mila come out of her shell at puppy school. Our puppy was able to get some valuable socialisation that she wouldn’t have otherwise gotten and she learned important obedience skills at the same time.Caroline really cares about the puppies and has a wealth of knowledge.
Casey Duncan: Caroline is fantastic! She goes above and beyond - which is so appreciated when you have a brand new puppy.Full of friendly, useful advice and very approachable! We took our pup through the puppy school she runs at Bellevue Hill Vets - a really great experience!Caroline also helped arranged puppy visits to the house whilst my partner and I have been at work - I can’t wait for our pup to be old enough to join the group walks!Highly recommended!
Sofia McCullough: Caroline & the team at Yappy Dogs are fantastic. Not only are they always able to accommodate our very last minute, hectic requests, our beloved pooch always returns happier than when she left! Caroline really cares & loves her charges, which gives us comfort in our choice 🐾
Valerie Lawson: When Caroline arrives the dogs she is taking for a walk pick up their ears and turn in twisty circles when they hear her voice. Yes! The high point of the day. She has helped me for more than a decade with dog walking and puppy training.
Baci Moore: Caroline and the team at Yappy Dogs have been an absolute saviour for us as we have unusual working hours and their flexibility and accommodation in regards to our situation has been much appreciated. Our bub returns happy and revived from the run around, clearly benefiting from the socialisation with dogs in other park environments that we are unable to take him to. We highly recommend yappy dogs and trust them implicitly to look after our baby. 🐶🐶🐶

Paul Goldie: Extremely welcoming atmosphere, awesome classes run by amazing teacher!
Rebekah Allison: Caroline was fantastic! It was a very practical class and she took the time to invest in each of the pups and make sure they were learning all the right skills. Highly recommend.
Laura Hourigan: Such a great puppy school! Caroline provided really easy to follow instructions and lots of really useful resources, would highly recommend.
Kirsty Sibtain: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueI cannot recommend Paddington Puppy School enough. It was thoroughly well organised and detailed. In addition to the in-person classes you are provided with detailed notes to keep up the training at home. My puppy quickly learnt the basic building blocks of training so we can keep learning together as she grows.
Kayla Arbelo: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueSuch an incredible and informative experience. We learnt so much from Caroline, her training schedule, in person sessions and informative follow up emails were extremely valuable. Our puppy Banks loved every minute of puppy school, would highly recommend.
Daniel Robinson: Positive:Professionalism,QualityFantastic experience with lots of both general and tailored tips and advice each week at training. Caroline was a huge help, always friendly and pleasant and very accommodating when any changes needed to be made.Would definitely recommend!
Lizzie C: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueCaroline is so great with the puppies. We learnt so much and Caroline talked us through any puppy concerns we had. Our pup loved going and I would highly recommend!
Catherine Therese: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueI loved every moment of puppy classes with Carolyn; who is not only incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, but funny, kind, generous and inclusive. Learning and confidence grows beyond class time too, through her comprehensive follow up emails. I highly recommend Carolyn's classes whether it's your first puppy of fifth, like mine.
Susanna de Vienne: Positive:Professionalism,Reliability,ValuePuppy school at Paddo Pets was fabulous Caroline was excellent and we all learned a lot about teaching our puppies and bonding with them. Whiskey loved every minute.
Kenneth Yuen: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessCaroline did a fantastic job hosting her 4 week puppy school programme. Our puppy Katsu had the opportunity to socialise with other pups (although they were a bit rowdy) and us owners were able to gain valuable knowledge that set us up for training a well behaved dog! Highly recommended :)
Nina Greune: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueCaroline was great and provided useful tips and guidance. Would highly recommend!
Nicholas Foley: Positive:Professionalism
Belinda Gilvarry: Great experience for our puppy, the follow up notes after the class are fantastic and so glad i took Caroline advice getting him in as soon as i could, also great value. Highly recommend, both Caroline & Fedrick were great trainers!
Charlotte D: Positive:ValueReally great way to learn the the essentials for puppy training. I found it really valuable for a new puppy owner. Lots of extra support and tailoring to your needs. We loved it!

Maddy's Dog School: what do users think?
Clinton Grills: My partner and I took our mini schnauzer to puppy school with Maddy. She’s lovely, loves animals and most importantly is excellent at teaching owners how to train their puppies 🙌 little Douglas gets compliments from everyone for how well behaved he is.. all thanks to Maddy.
Anthony Cramery: Positive:ProfessionalismI did not know Maddy but am so happy I met her. One of my dogs got lost and left Centennial Park. Maddy generously helped us look for her including temporarily minding 2 of our dogs in her van while I searched on foot until we found our dog. She was so wonderful and I would definitely trust my dogs with her.
tony: We decided to engage Maddy’s services to (a) assess the progress and development of our strong-willed 8-month old Beagle, Toby and (b) address, redress and arrest specific concerns/issues from having observed the positive experience and outcome our neighbour and friend’s puppy had with Maddy.Maddy offered a different and fresh or refreshing approach – helped us rethink our approach by understanding the drivers to change inappropriate behaviour, providing/equipping us with the tools/tool-kit, useful practical tips necessary and buttons to push in order to drive, motivate and achieve behavioural change.Maddy is personable and professional. The engagement (consultation process) overall was extremely pleasing with very satisfying, rewarding results. Excellent!
Yasmin Sherif: Maddy was absolutely amazing with our German Shepherd puppy who enjoyed going to puppy class every week. Maddy was great at adapting the lessons to each individual puppy and gave us the skills to continue with training at home. She was also lovely and patient, and genuinely cares about the well-being of all the puppies she trains. Very highly recommend her!
Lisa Weston: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Reliability,Responsiveness,ValueThank you Maddy, highly recommended! You have really set us up for success xo
Valli Rao: My daughter’s dog Karis is a 3-year old rescue Ibizan Hound, an adorable dog but with selective deafness when she chooses, a desire to explore the wide world, plus very fast long legs! Towards the end of March we sought Maddy’s help to train her recall skills, and now in early July there is such an amazingly noticeable difference in Karis’s road manners. Karis has (for most of the time, but we still have to keep a sharp eye open in case wander-lust overcomes!) understood that if she keeps track of us, keeps returning to us, then life is happier and safer and more fun for her as well as her humans. We have to thank Maddy for patiently enabling Karis to understand this important message, pretty hard for her to grasp as she had had no training when my daughter got her a year ago. Plus, since six weeks’ ago, Karis has had to learn to share her humans with a new baby that my daughter has had, and this has been facilitated greatly by Maddy taking Karis out for training walks with other dogs, including her own, so that she has interesting friendships. Maddy has made a world of difference in Karis’s recall skills as well as other interesting things like sit, sit-down-stay, playing with balls, potty training, anything that we asked her to help with. Maddy is generous in her dealings, a safe pair of hands to leave Karis when they are out, and it is heart-warming to see how much she obviously loves Karis (and all other dogs I have seen her with). Definitely a Dog Person!
Ivor Lloyd-Rees: Really impressed. Maddy has a warm, genuine style. Our puppy loved spending time with her and seemed to absorb everything she taught and we learnt some great techniques.Maddy listened, took notes and was there for us outside the sessions if we needed. She's great, 100% recommend.
billy bullman: Our gorgeous Weimaraner puppy Frankie absolutely loved Maddy! We were very thankful to come across such an amazing dog trainer that worked wonders. Maddy came to our house for three seperate sessions and worked on sit, stay, drop, ‘leave it’, come, introduced Frankie to walking on the lead and helped us find ways to manage and reduce separation anxiety. We would highly recommend Maddy and will definitely be keeping in touch with her in the future.
Samantha Coutu: Amazing knowledge and incredible patience :)

Eazy Dog Training: what do users think?
Elizabeth Robinson: Amazing service from trainers with a wealth of knowledge. Communicating with Anniina was so easy and she always responded promptly to any queries I had. Betty the trainer came to my house and we had a 3hour session with my 2 dogs. I learnt so much and Betty was able to give me an insight into their behaviour and how to fix it. Thank you again Betty :)
Scarlett Hopper: I was lucky enough to have Betty come and help me with my 4 month old puppy, Percy. Betty was so kind and knowledgable and had a varied range of solutions to help me out with my new puppy. I have already started to implement the tools she gave me and it's made a world of a difference. Percy now is starting to love her walks and is becoming less afraid of her leash everyday! I highly recommend Betty as she was warm, knowledgable, funny, and a delight to have help me. Thank you Betty!
Magda C: The skills we learnt at this puppy school allowed us to train our sensitive puppy into a confident dog. The classes were quick and teach you to teach your dog. This is important because training needs to be done every day, not just once a week! The socialisation was the most valuable part of the physical class for us, where as the online material was the most valuable educational element (our puppy was too stressed and car sick to actually participate in training in the class, it was much easier to start it at home). The only down side is that access to the online material expires after 6months, that is a real shame as I was going through it slowly and having access to it as a support for the first year would have been super handy. It’s also great that you can message the trainer with questions during the week and her responses are valuable. I would recommend this school.
Tegan Cox: We have completed puppy school and Level 1 obedience with Betty. We all had a great time and our blue heeler found her bestie. Betty was so patient and knowledgeable. After a week in the trenches of puppyhood, saturdays with Betty was a welcome confidence boost for owners and puppies.
Liz Bray: We've taken our puppy to two courses with Anniina at Eazy Dog Training and all got a lot out of them. Anniina had an incredible, instant rapport with our pup. We found the online support material for the puppy school great and we also subscribe to the Eazy Dog newsletter and regularly click through to the videos and read the articles - have learned a lot about many aspects of dog ownership and had great fun following some of the tips for 'engagement'!
Jacqueline: We did a private puppy training with Anniina and it was very worth it. Anniina helped us to teach Mickey some basic commands which will help us to build Mickey’s behaviors in the future. We’re now planning to enroll Mickey into some of the other classes!
Melanie Robson: Thank you so much to Anniina and Lauren at Eazy Dog Training for helping my Charlie become a good boy.I have done some home training sessions and an Obedience 2 course with Anniina, who is a wonderful problem solver and a really attentive trainer. She taught my very naughty pup the skills to settle, eliminated his counter surfing, and greatly improved his impulse control. In the obedience course, he learnt to heel, ignore distractions and improved his recall. I’d been trying and failing to teach Charlie these skills myself. Anniina not only helped with these issues, but overall made him a much easier dog to live and bond with.I also did two nosework courses, both led by Lauren, which introduced Charlie to a really fun skill we can now keep working at. It’s helped with his enrichment and taught him from a young age to keep his mind focused on something.
Sally Maiden: Anniina is such a great trainer, and very professional in tending to her business (ie punctual, thorough, uses her allotted time to the fullest). I have had a couple private lessons, and participated in a group class. Anniina certainly knows dogs and how to train them! My daughter has also used Easy Dog Training (different trainer, but also excellent) for her sometimes unruly groodle, she too was very pleased. I would highly recommend Anniina, as well as other trainers at the EDT.
Lissa Christopher: On recommendation from a neighbour, I started taking my dog (who is dog reactive) to private agility classes with Anniina and then also attended a few of her group classes (working dog and trick training) without the dog, just to learn. Anniina has changed our lives. The agility is great fun and Anniina is a patient, positive and encouraging teacher of both dogs and humans, and an absolute font of dog knowledge. I have learnt so much from her along the way and look forward to learning more.
Matt Corke: We've taken both our dogs to Eazy Dog Training and we've learnt so much through them. Friendly training, actionable advice in a fun environment. With the addition of the agility course training now Eazy Dog Training is clearly a great place to train dogs on how to be a better dog.
Hayley Walker: As first time puppy owners we had an incredible experience and one that I would highly recommend to others. Our puppy enjoyed it and I feel that we were given great training advice that we will be able to carry on with at home now. Amazing class and will be coming back for teenage classes.
Ruby Grose: Anniina was fantastic, very knowledgeable and gave us some great tools to help us train our miniature dachshund. We’ve noticed improvements in his behaviour in just a few days. Highly recommend.
Adele Lausberg: We had a wonderful experience with Puppy School. Great tips, great socialisation and all round a fun experience. Don’t hesitate to enrol your puppy! You’ll also learn a lot too (possibly more than the pup).
Meryn Betbeder: We had some private sessions with the amazing trainer Betty! She helped our dog Lilah to overcome a range of issues including reactivity to traffic, barking at the door, jumping up on people, anxiety about being in the car and more. She gave us heaps of great ideas on how to keep our dog mentally stimulated during the day, which Lilah has been loving! Would highly recommend anyone see Betty for their dog training. You can tell that she really cares about us and our dog’s progress, and she has the best, most fun attitude!
Emma: We wish to provide our absolute gratitude and appreciation to Eazy Dog Training and Betty for our first private training session for our reactive adult dog. We feel so much more equipped and empowered. Her manner, communication and care was exemplary. We are so excited to be able to provide better care to our pet now and look forward to working with her again.
Fiona Henderson: I can't recommend Anniina enough. She showed us how to communicate with our beautiful dog on a much deeper level through better training. She is a clear communicator with both dogs and humans, perceptive about dog behavior and quick to explain it. Our two hour session with her was enough to learn everything we needed to know.
Charlotte Mortlock: Betty was a brilliant dog trainer. We saw a huge improvement in our puppy's behaviour. Betty's training was fun and insightful. 100% recommend
Rachel Murphy: We first met Betty at small group training and then later had a private lesson for separation anxiety at our home. Betty did some assessments with us and our dog and then walked us through a bunch or exercises we can work on. Just one week later we have seen amazing results. I highly recommend Betty's obedience group class and private lessons!
Razor: Thank you Anniina for great fun n professional puppy school training,Definitely my puppy ( Jasper ) have taken away valuable skills. 👍
Nadia Degregori: My puppy just completed his 4-week long puppy school and both of us have learned so much! This school goes beyond teaching your dog to sit, lie down, etc. (which they will learn too) but, more importantly, it taught me how to develop a strong and trusting relationship with my dog.I also got the home training package. And it was so good! We got to work on the particular challenges my dog was facing.Something concrete that sums up my experience: before Eazy Dog Training, my dog went for my baby's feet at every opportunity, so we had to keep them separated. After approx. 5 weeks of both puppy school and individualised training, our dog has learned that baby is 100% off limits. Baby sometimes pats our dog in places he doesn't like (tail, ears) but our dog has learned he's not supposed to react to baby, so he doesn't. Our baby also likes offering treats, and can you believe this? Our dog isn't even reacting to the treats if they come from our baby!
Lauren Studley: We first started using Eazy Dog Training during covid when we attended the puppy school it was a challenging time for all however I feel we were set with the foundations to having a well behaved pup following the programme. We have just finished our second training programme (obedience level 1) and are about to book our third (leash manners) I couldn’t recommend Eazy Dog Training enough there is nowhere else I would choose to engage in training with our dog, Anniina is highly skilled professional person and sets the bar high when it comes to anything involving dog training.Every training session has been of benefit to us and our dog responses extremely well to the training techniques used. Everything we have participated in has been easy to follow and are always given time to practice and accomplish the task at hand. We look forward to our next training programme with eazy dog training!
