Home The Venue: what do users think?
Julian Doyle: Security guards are bored and have nothing better to do than make mountains out of molehills. Have never seen them intercept dangerous behaviour I seem to only see them intimidate patrons and watch over us like chaperones at a year 6 disco.Guards are meant to keep us safe not ruin our experiences that we pay good money for.
LongVodka: To be fair, I’ve only been here…more than a handful for times but never had a bad issue/time….I only rated four out of five (4/5) stars as it’s been far too crowded but as I’m lead to believe that’s the promotors prouder issuing far too many tickets for the venue to hold. However, I’ve always found the place to be clean (yes, even the bathrooms), security have been pleasant and mindful whilst doing their job in keeping all patrons safe. Drink prices WILL be a tad be more expensive BUT the venue IS located in darling harbour AND is a main source of revenue (especially when there’s an event) so what’s the big deal?! Don’t like the prices? Then don’t order the drinks…it’s the EXACT same in ANY venue (ie - cinema). The staff…never had an issue, in fact so helpful when pointing out the location of the bar, coatroom, toilets BUT they went above and beyond when I lost my ID at the Boulet Brothers event. I emailed and messaged the venue, both responded in a timely manner and on the same day.I was happily reunited with said missing property when I stopped by the venue. Both security and bar staff were friendly and attentive whilst listening and one staff member even checked the area that described AND the lost property box/area/hand in which either a patron or staff member found and handed in my ID.I was probably waiting at the bar, five minutes (maybe even less) to which I was in no rush and certainly didn’t not expect my ID to have been found or even handed in.Keep up the great work folks and I am humbly grateful that a staff member took the time, in order to assist me.
leslie Mark: Fun place to be
Jessica Feyder: Music was awesome but top level room filled with the thickest smoke. If you had asthma you would die within 2 hours.
monique: very good atmosphere my favourite club by far!! can never get sick of it
Corie-Joy Ewins: No where else to be on a Saturday night! The staff, the atmosphere, the music, everything is 10/10Only place I recommend to anyone !
Jess Hayes: Always fun and a great place to dance. Love how the music is 2000s and 2010s with some current hits. Love going here when I go clubbing in the city
Shiney Peez: Banging music, lights and dancers! There til close and lived every minute!
Jeremy Boualorn: i love it is sooo good bring all my friends here and THE DRINKS ARE CHEAP!!!
Jakeb Rayner: Best club to go to in Sydney!!!!!!!
Katie Richmond: Worst experience ever. The Legends drag night was massively oversold. People were actually fainting. Massive health and safety issue. And the toilets were soooooo grossly unsanitary
Ernie Shepherd: Is an ok venue . Definitely needs some maintenance inside. The balcony for the shows is poorly designed.
Louise Johnson: Paid over $100 to see live music at this venue and couldn't see a thing. They oversell tickets to make the most money possible and don't care that fire exits are blocked which puts everyone in danger. The top section was crammed with ppl which meant you could barely walk and coulnt see the stage. Half the audiance had no view of the stage at all and left. Not worth attending any events here.
john Johnson: Paid $200 for VIP ticket to Legendary Legends drag show and could not see anything, very disappointing. Not even any video screen to view from VIP area. Home is not a venue to host VIP viewing parties! I want a REFUND along with 500 other dissatisfied customers.
Kristi Knight: The venue was so overcrowded. I've never been packed in so tight at a venue. I paid extra for a balcony view but unless you were front row on the balcony, you couldn't see anything. You couldn't get to the bar at all.I was very disappointed.
Daniel Jebulan: Rude security guard telling me on the Weeknd night that I was in the wrong queue when lining up to enter. There were people in front of me but he accused me of pushing in. He stated that I was actually in the exit queue but there was no signage so how was I supposed to know.Additionally, the whole pathway to enter was packed full of people so if that was indeed an exit queue, that would be a massive WHS concern because if there was an emergency no one would have been able to leave in such a tight space. Please train your security guards as well as put up clear signage in queues in order to prevent confusion as well ensure the safety of your patrons. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Jacquelyn Harrington: Paid 20 dollars per ticket for an event in the rooftop Cockle Bay Wharf entrance which took an hour to even get into due to overzealous security procedures. Security guard made up false stories and said we pushed in the line when there were clearly two lines separated by a queue rope and people were in the line in front and behind us. They then proceeded to go through my phone without permission and check for vaccination status and my debit card because apparently one form of ID is not sufficient? Absolutely ruined my night with the vulgar language and left after 20 minutes. Will not be returning!
Christine Yeh: Good venue for a live show event
Lilly: It's like you are listening to 96.9 or 104.1. Its white radio music repeated and remixed. If you are into that it's cool but if you aren't then I do not recommend.
Zurika Bleeker: Really exciting venue, great music, and impressive performances, it's a vibe. I liked that there were two dj setups with different styles.
Reya Alex: Not enough space inside the venue, party was very congested , will not recommend this for party

Big Music Australia: what do users think?
Justen Beashel: The team here recently did some work on one of my 7 string guitars, restrung, buffed frets, cleaned and oiled the fretboard and installed a new bridge pickup (Seymour Duncan Nazgul - Highly recommend picking one up if you're into heavier styles of music). The guys here were so accommodating, friendly and the workmanship was second to none, this guitar cost me less than $300 (project instrument) and the thing now sounds and plays like it costs quadruple that! Will definitely be coming back to the business after the work and care taken with my guitar. Rock on!!!
donovan lane: If you’re a drummer don’t bother. Little to no stock, seems like they don’t care about drummers at all.
David Hedlund: Friendly staff and decent price for a guitar setup. However when I picked up my guitar the humidifier was bone dry and my nice strap was wadded up in a ball inside the case. Definitely not how I left it. When taking care of instruments worth thousands of dollars, I expect better service than that.
Katrina Yarran Kylie: Wow!
Paul: Ordered PA speakers, was going half with another band member. I live in a remote location but the address was accepted, paying $350 in shipping. Based on this I decided to buy a mixer from another company. Was called the following day that they would not be able to deliver unless an additional $700+ plus was paid. Decided to cancel the order instead but explain to the sales adviser just to make sure I could change the payment method, the original amount had been paid on a credit card so returning the fund to the other person would not be possible or I would incur high interest fees. Was called back and told this would not be possible. I asked if they could check again and was assured that they would try and get back in contact with me before they actioned any refund. Received no further contact or updates and the money was refunded back without any correspondence from the sales representative. While the sales assistant was incredibly helpful in the beginning, I will incur a cost because of an error on their end. I would not recommend using this service or at least not their online store.
Luke Russell: My 5 year old loves after school music here.
SR Raff: Extremely fast and reliable service processing and delivery for online order. Very happy with your turnaround. Thanks all!
Ben Hackett: I took my Yamaha Revstar (RSS20) to the workshop to get some parts replaced due to nickel allergy.Considering parts availability & related lag times due to COVID, it took a little longer than it would have otherwise, but that's not Big Music or the workshop's fault.I collected my Revstar yesterday & the price was very reasonable, the quality of work & service was beyond professional.I dropped off a nice new guitar that needed some tweaks, but collected a guitar that looked almost exactly the same (the replacement parts looked so similar that it barely changed the look of the guitar), but now plays exceptionally well & is just a joy to play, with parts that will not exacerbate my health condition.Harry, Clyde & the team at Big Music really care about helping your guitar reach its potential & I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone needing a setup, mod or repair.Great work guys, keep it up.
Ken Abrahams: Excellent to deal with.
Peter Owen: Got the boys in tech centre to do a setup on my guitar..... absolutely awesome result! Thanks Clyde and the team!
Shayan Shabestari: 1/5 stars just because you use TNT/FedEX as your courier delivery service instead of Australia Post. You are using a company that has over a decade history of negative customer reviews and business practices to deliver your merchandise to customers. They are telling me that I can't pick up my package from the depot because "it is not ready yet"; it is physically here, but I can't pick it up.I was hoping to buy more music equipment, but just from this business decision you have made alone I will be looking elsewhere to buy my musical equipment.Your $699 keyboard is suddenly costing me over $1000+ because of the day off from work I will have to take to pick it up from the courier service you are using (with offshore call centers that like to play the game of hot potato and bounce customers from team to team for hours). Opportunity cost loss is a real thing.
Matthew Aeschbacher: Great rehearsal space
Isabella Farrell: Awesome shop, great staff and fantastic techs. They did a great, very affordable and quick repair on my bass. Thank you so much!
Georgia A: They love what they do and it shows. Highly recommend for music camps and anyone wanting to purchase instrument. Know their products and guide you without sales pressure.
L C: Purchased online from QLD,lowest price. Excellent service.Friendly and helpful.Highly recommend.
Dana Roesink: Recently did a Rock Show organised by Big Music and can recommend this to anyone as it was a great experience to join a band and work towards a performance over the period of some months.
Johannes Ostendorf: Great people to deal with. They stay in touch and genuinely care about their customers. Couldn’t think of a better way to establish strong customer relations especially as the trend of today is geared more towards online shopping. It’s important then to know you’re dealing with a reputable seller. Well done people of Big Music, you have impressed me.
lee oliver: good product good service
Korben Dallas: big store (size similar to turramurra and mannys). good staff, happy to help.no higher end amps like EVH/mesa but some Orange, Laney, Boss combos and heads. lots of fender amps. variety of 12" cabs. dedicated amp demo room.ibanez, fender, Gibson guitars.nice store.
Scott Hucker: Beautiful music shop. Well worth the visit
andrea king: Great product prompt delivery my daughter couldnt be happier, your customer service is excellent . I will definatley recommend to anyone. Thanks Big Music Australia

Sydney Jazz Collective Band: what do users think?
Sam Lane: SJC were a fantastic addition to our wedding day. They were responsive at all stages of the process, and their music was beautiful and appropriate at every stage of our reception. Would definitely recommend!
Chris May: We booked SJC as a 5-piece for our wedding in January 2023. We had a wonderful day and SJC were a very special part of it. Many of our guests, and quite a few of the other suppliers, specifically commented on how good the band were and asked us how we found them. The group were absolute pros from first to last and judged the mood and energy of the night really nicely. It was exactly what we were after. The communication leading up to the day was also fantastic. The group were prompt and obliging with responses and we always felt we knew exactly what they needed and what we could expect from them. We never had any doubt we’d booked the right group.Thank you so much!
Emily Reynolds: We booked Sydney Jazz Collective Band for our wedding reception. The band was absolutely incredible and brought the evening to life; our guests danced right up until the final minute! Very professional to deal with. 10/10 recommend!
Rachel Hartanto: I really wanted to reach out and thankyou for your fabulous work for my wedding reception on Sunday.Alot of my guests after the wedding reached out and said you guys were amazing; from the song choices and the playing/performance, you guys really made the perfect atmosphere on the night.I had alot of international guests come in and it was great to hear classic hits that everyone could enjoy (your rendition of Ride Sally Ride was my inlaws favorite)Also thanks for playing Unforgettable for the first dance! One of my favorite moments of the night ❤️
Bruce Haynes: These guys made our wedding a massive success, we had the best venue at the Quay restaurant in Sydney, the outlook plus the professional approach of the band & there ability to read the mood of the guests & play the music that made everybody get involved & have a great time was outstanding. Highly recommend this group of people for there professional approach & talent.
Reuben Rose: The band were outstanding at every level. Great communication along the booking process with regular prompts and interest in what our needs were. The band arrived and set up without any fuss and played some great jazz sets over dinner and did a special request number. Then some high energy music that got everyone up dancing. Wonderful musicians of the highest calibre. We can't recommend highly enough for any type of function.
Anna Story: Sydney Jazz Collective were recently engaged to perform at our annual medical conference for an event with 200 people. They were extremely professional from the first contact; everything from assisting with our set up requirements to ensure adequate sound coverage of the space, to set up on the day and ultimately the performance on the night. Further, they were a pleasure to work with an nothing was too much trouble. I could not recommend them more highly for any event.
Lisa McCann: Our company hired Sydney Jazz Collective for our Gala Dinner. They were highly professional and accommodating from my initial enquiry through to our actual event. The Jazz band was a perfect fit for our Great Gatsby theme and all staff thoroughly enjoyed the music. We researched a couple of different bands for our event and found this offered fantastic value for money. Thank you for helping make our event enjoyable for all.
Matthew Donovan: WOW... these guys! We used this band for our wedding day and they really made it a night to remember! It was one of the best decisions we made! The communication and service was excellent when booking and the music was even better! If your looking for a jazz band, then look no further.
Dawn Dobbie: The skill and professionalism was outstanding! Our wedding reception atmosphere was made by the band, if music is an important part of your life, I highly recommend The Sydney Jazz collective to be a part of any special occasion!
Roy Gam: JUST WOW! The Sydney Jazz collective were by far the best investment we could have made on our special day. Matt was so easy to talk to and accommodated any questions and queries we had before booking. The whole process was simple and efficient. On the night, they arrived on time and played even better then I was expecting! The whole band was so well dressed and well equipped, the lead singer's voice was amazingly beautiful. Overall I would recommend this band to everyone wanting to make a lasting impression on their guests.
Reinier Bruijnooge: The band was amazing! They made our wedding a terrific party we were hoping for, with lots of people on the dance floor. In the lead up they are also always helpful, flexible and easy to deal with. So would definitely recommend them to anybody!
Portia Miller: Stop thinking and just hire them. Matt made the booking process so simple and happily answered all my questions. The band on the night was fantastic, incredibly professional, sounded great and interacted with the crowd so well. From nailing the Surprise entry song to the Happy Birthday, they were of the highest quality. They even let me brother in law sing and play guitar with them. All around excellent and very deserving of the 5 star review. Thank you.
Timothy Morrison: We booked on late notice for our wedding at The Baroque Room at the Carrington in Katoomba. We loved it so much thank you! Made a great day perfect!!
Warren D: Sydney Jazz Collective were simply AMAZING! The choice of music was excellent and everyone loved their performance. The band created an amazing atmosphere, all our guests were raving about them and how much fun they had. I could not have asked for a better band, they kept the vibe going all night. Matt was amazing to deal with from start to finish. Thank you Sydney Jazz Collective for making our special day a joyous celebration of love that will be remembered for a lifetime.Warren & Lili
Catherine Brennan: I booked the Sydney Jazz Collective for my Roaring 20’s 50th birthday party! The 5 piece were incredible, they liaised with me regularly, had no trouble playing music from the period, played the Charleston especially for us to learn to dance to it and generally ensured we all had a ball! They created the perfect atmosphere for the best birthday party ever! They even traveled down to Berry on the NSW South Coast...I cant praise the band, the music quality or the ease of doing business with this group enough!
m shah: We booked the five piece band with the male vocal with Sydney Jazz Collective for our wedding reception last week. Fair to say they created the perfect mood that filled the room- something only a live band could do. They played classy low key jazz during canapés and dinner and then kept the dance floor packed all night with party tunes (which is saying something as my friends aren't the dancing type!). Dancing my first dance with my new wife to a song played live was so perfect, especially knowing that the song will never be played exactly the same another time. We could not have asked for anything more and the fee we paid for the band was well worth it. Some of our guests just hung out in front of the band to watch them play superbly during dinner. I would book them time and time again and would urge others not to hesitate in booking them. Highly professional service and very skilled performers. The booking system is also very straight forward which was a big relief with all the other wedding planning going on. Thank you again for your exceptional service!
Matthew Squires: The Sydney Jazz Collective recently performed at our wedding reception and we were extremely satisfied with their professionalism and the versality & quality of their music. Instrumental jazz created the perfect ambience during canapés/dinner, through to an awesome rendition of our first dance song, followed by pumping party tunes later in the reception. Our venue even commented they were the best band they’d had perform in a long time and wouldn’t have any trouble recommending Sydney Jazz Collective to their prospective wedding couples. Thanks again guys!
Peter Sydney: The guys in the band were friendly, helpful and really great fun to have around. The musicianship was flawless, the sound quality excellent, and every one of our guests commented on the high quality of the music. We wouldn’t hesitate to have the boys back again for a future event, and I want to pass on our personal thanks to all the guys in the band, for helping make this a very special celebration.
Novia Heroanto: We had Sydney Jazz Collective for our wedding reception recently and we are deeply satisfied with their professional and helpful manner. Matt was very responsive throughout the emailing process. The teams arrived at the venue and set up everything according to the schedule. We are impressed to see our father and our daughter sang with the band seamlessly eventhough they never practiced together before!! The guests including the kids filled up the dance floor and they stayed till late. The values of service delivered is way beyond the price we've paid. We definitely will recommend Sydney Jazz Collective to anyone who wants their guests are constantly entertained till their last second in the event. Well done!!
Michael McDowell: We used this group for our wedding. The choice and range of music was excellent. They were sensitive to the reception proceedings, adjusting volume and responding to our needs in a very respectful way. No hesitation in recommending them.

Behnam Imanian: A very cool place as an underground music venue
Harrison Mccowage: Valve bar
Anthony Thomas: Very unique. It has its own style which I love
Joshua Fey-Sparrow: Bar no longer exists
Pete Fawcett: Good venue, held some alternative shows, not many places do!
andrew no: It's closed.....
Maggs Lani: Was good
Tim Burnell: Good venue
Ideas and Opinions: Prescription, the last Saturday of every month, if you like dancehall this is the place to be.. great music.. nice crowd..
Cheryl Waring: Music venue to listen to live music
Ben Ellis: Great underground venue for serious live music fans. Reasonable beer prices and usually cheap door price. Dark, low ceiling adds to the ambience. Good quality house PA and speakers. Only one exit... slightly concerning.
Keiren Stephenson: Thank you for giving us metal tragics somewhere to congregate 🤘
Alex Dell: Literally the sickest spot in all of sydney
Ariel Zhou: Psytranc party on Saturday night is good.
T T: Any venue still doing live music in sydney should be commended specially if it's for, up and coming metal bands.
Jak Smith: My friends hired the room downstairs out on a Wednesday night a couple of weeks ago, and I was super disappointed with what happened on the night. First of all I found the manager and bouncer on shift very rude and unreasonable as we had all been drinking all evening and one of out friends had had a bit to much to drink so we brought her out and got her a Uber home, on returning from just out the front we went to go back in but we were not allowed as we were too drunk, which was rediculous, yes we had had a couple of drinks but were not that intoxicated. I waited for about 5 mins before trying again and was let in happily by another guy. Once the other 2 saw me again they came headlocked me and draged me out of the bar, with so much force!! The manager then said to me "let's take this round the corner wheres there no cameras" I couldn't believe it!!Secondly we had hired the place until 1 and band on one even though the DJ my friend had asked nicely just to finish the last song the music was switched off exactly at one which just seamed so rude! So overall just not very happy with the way the evening went even though we paid all that money
Talon: Great function room with stage and lounge area. DJ booth available as well as bar.
russel jones: Cool place , nice vibe , friendly staff
Keanu Reviews: Epic events at this venue. Good drinks
Fangr the Bat: Sounds Like Winter

Liveschool: what do users think?
Neil D: A well organised school with friendly staff, that offers content that’s easy to approach, suitable for all levels of ableton/music experience (but best suited for those that are experienced with general computer software). They offer plenty of online resources that are great for revision after the fact and networking with the broader community, as well as some great free workshops run by guest lecturers from the industry. The only downside is that their courses come with a hefty price tag, but if you can afford it, it’s worth it.
Mitch: Highly recommend for all skill levels. Everyone I learnt from was extremely proficient in their craft. There was many things I learnt that I wish I knew when I started out in music production a few years back. All trainers actively work in the music industry and are always open to learning new skills themselves. Thanks legends!
Josh Bailey: A great way to start your electronic music production journey. Whether you've played around with Ableton yourself already or haven't even purchased it to begin with, Liveschool takes you through every fundamental aspect of producing music within your laptop. The teachers and staff are always very welcoming and make you feel at home as you enter class. Highly recommend the course and if you're unsure about any info send them an email as they're very friendly and responsive to queries : ))
aman rana: Best music production school in sydney. Highly recommended if anyone wants to take their production skills to next level.
Alex: As a graduate of Liveschool I can confidently say that this is a fantastic way to learn the craft of making music with the beast that is Ableton. The content, teaching, organisation and overall energy of the course and its surrounds gives rise to a fantastic and challenging learning experience that will see your abilities develop dramatically. I urge anyone who makes the wise decision to take on one of their courses to give it their full attention in class and to then make as much music as possible in the their spare time to really get as much as they can from this course, it is worth it 100%!
Leonard Peters: I came in knowing nothing about Ableton but left knowing heaps....this was due to the professionalism and interest that all staff and trainers took in my progress.....I would highly recommend this world class facility to everyone who wants to fast track their musical journey.....
Lochie Stevens: Such an amazing course! The trainers and staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the content of the course is just perfect for learning Ableton Live and music in general. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about electronic music!
Koniac Net: Perfect place to realise your creative potential with a bunch of really cool people who know exactly what they are doing . More importantly its a big heads up to all sorts of music genre . More than satisfied with my time here
hulla baloo: Ive been using Ableton for 12yrs and was sceptical about doing the Produce Music course. How wrong i was! From the very first "Begin" lesson i was learning new things. The cirriculum is set up in a very easy straight forward way and that coupled with teachers who are so knowledgable in not just Ableton but music and sound in general leaves me to recommend Liveschool to anyone serious about a career in sound!
James Herlihy: This is an awesome school - really high quality teaching, course and facilities. Great setup in classrooms with good equipment and space for everyone and small classes so the instructor can spend time with everyone. Great teaching by Josh - our enthusiastic and experienced instructor (who's also a producer himself, which is important). Good syllabus and pace of teaching - stretches you a bit at times if you're not experienced with Ableton like me, but in a good way that makes the lessons really productive. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to take their production to the next level.
Erik Kimbler (Aegyptus): Check them out
Jay: Awesome teachers who really know their stuff and make learning Ableton really practical and hands on. I learnt more doing this course one day a week than I did at my other previous full-time place of study. Highly recommended and perfect for anyone who is interested in starting their producing or DJing journey or someone who just wants to enhance their skills and have a better understanding of Ableton and music.
Andrey Dinov: if you are one of these people that don't know music theory the way professional musicians do or just want to know a different way of looking at electronic production, like meMusic Theory Course is 100% for you!Even after a month of taking the course, I still go back to my Liveschool account and read things they uploaded on there.4 weeks was not enough for me, theres is a lot of good information that they give out + you can always google things up online and find information in detail. You get a life long access to the website which is definitely one of the best things about the course.A big thank you to all the teachers that made the course THAT amazing! There is always room for improvement, keep at it ;)
Sophie: I recently did the Begin class with Abelton Live School and absolutely loved it! Whether or not you came from a musical background, everything was explained very clearly and I certainly want to come back and do more courses with them soon!
Manbat: Improved my productions beyond measure. I especially recommend the Mixing and Mastering course.
Andrew Simons: I recently completed the focus series at liveschool after spending years learning about production from forums and youtube. Since starting the courses there has been a significant change in the quality of the music I have been producing. At the school you learn to approach production in a way that allows you to develop your own sound as an artist and translate your ideas into professional sounding tracks.I also really like the philosophy of the school in teaching techniques to decode other artist’s music rather than giving templates (for example there is no “this is how to make a house track”). The result is that I am now able to take any track I like and work out how the sounds, arrangement, musical structure, and mix give the track its “feel.” Never again will I have to google “how to make my track sound like X.”I’d highly recommend liveschool for anybody serious about making professional sounding music and developing their own sound as an artist.
Liam Turner: I wanted to get into producing music this year and so looked around for a few courses and settled on Create & Destroy at Liveschool. I was apprehensive before I started, regarding the cost of the course (having never been to such a course before) but in the end the quality of the content, resources, tuition, and support far exceeded my expectations. The staff are all super friendly and keen to be involved in whatever style of music you want to make. They have a tonne for gear to try out and mess around with, and teach a range of techniques that can be used with or without extra gear. The student support was prompt, and feedback excellent.
Michael Mai: Long story short, music theory baffled me and to be honest seemed daunting and unbearable. But after taking the plunge and enrolling in their Music Theory course, felt very worth it and very satisfied, everything is broken down in an easy to understand a relevant manner which personally got me writing faster than before. Loved it
iamelixir: After spending literally years in trial and error, these guys have really helped me get on track with production. I didn't come from an Ableton background but feel completely at home now. The guys at Liveschool really know their stuff, they're true industry pros where you just want to pick their brains. You can ask questions and they are really supportive in class and remotely. The course materials you get are high quality from the class notes to online tutorials. If you're looking to improve in Ableton, definitely check them out.
Benjamin Duddy: I found the music theory course I attended extremely helpful in putting me on the right path to writing better structured music. The staff were incredibly helpful and great to learn from and would recommend anyone who has an interest in any of their courses to seriously check it out.
WP K: These guys make producing tunes that much easier. After doing a course here you will have Ableton unlocked - no more workflow breakdowns, just endless possibilities to make whatever sound you have in your head come to life. Great teachers, access to tutorial videos, the courses are beyond worthwhile.

Turramurra Music Centre: what do users think?
Ken Abrahams: Great place to go for musicians.
Maud Moreau (M): Great store! Big range and super helpful!
Robbie Byrne: I bought my first item (Erica Synths DB-01) from Turramurra Music online. It was their last one, and the box had been opened to demo the unit, but Mia got in contact to tell me this and was generous in throwing in some extras to accommodate it being opened. The box was delivered a day earlier than I expected. I had trouble getting the device to work, but when I called, Todd was extremely supportive, and we worked through the problem over the phone until we found the solution. What a great experience! I can't recommend these guys highly enough.
James Simon: Fantastic experience shopping here. Was unsure exactly what I wanted but the helpful staff went out of their way to let me test as long as I wanted. I walked out with a great purchase at a great bargain. Will be back again
Mirek Stekla: Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and willing to assist.
Luke Jurd: Such a good store, staff are awesome, prices are great and there is so much to choose from.
Daren Raskovic: Great store! Went in earlier this week to buy a guitar but after bringing it home for a week decided the tone wasn't right for me. They were very helpful allowing me to come in and exchange it for a better fit where I ended up with this fantastic mexican strat. Very friendly staff :)
Nick Sialepis: Very good store, excellent customer service and advice for all your musical gear needs. Having dealing with Matty Paxton and Mat Stevens, I couldn't recommend anyone else better to assist you. Just purchased a RME Babyface Pro, shipping was really quick and the prices are very fair and affordable. Will definitely be a returning customer for all my future instrument, mixing gear and studio pro audio needs. Highly recommend.
Meeta Soni: Great visit , helpful staff , good selection of instruments.....
Michael Rogers: Rang Turramurra Music Centre on 4 occasions to spend upwards of $2500 on music equipment. Was very disappointed with the lack of follow up and customer care.Have since purchased from an alternative provider.
Kyle Imlah: Fantastic customer service from Turramurra music. Michael made my pedal purchasing experience a breeze. It’s clear he knew what he was talking about. Will be coming back!
Su-Anne Foo: I’ve been visiting this store for a couple of years now and I’m pleased with the customer service from the team here. We bought a guitar case and a Casiotone keyboard about a year ago during lockdown. My daughter recently got accepted into the school’s band and Tash was really helpful with all of our questions as i have zero experience in school band. I also had a great customer service experience from Oram as he was patient with me on the phone as I ringed the centre to purchase a specific clarinet music book. I would definitely visit the store again.#supportlocalbusiness
Pete Fleming: Any business owner who claims they can't find good staff needs to visit this store. Sensational staff, who don't try to upsell to more than what is needed to help the customer. Super helpful and enthusiastic, they deserve 11/10. Owner's attitude is to price very competitively and it's a dynamite combination. Highly recommend this business.
Ian Blakeney: Best music shop in Australia.Courteous, attentive, down to earth , ready to serve.
Keith Terry: Purchased an Adam Jones Art collection Epiphone guitar. Only 15 available in Australia and Matt helped me secure one. Good communication all the way and got it safely up to North Queensland. Will be contacting you next time for sure!!
Jordan Liling: Definitely the best music store in Sydney that I know of. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. They have almost anything here and charge excellent prices. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable for anything you need. I bought all of the gear for an entire music studio from here as well as almost all of my performance gear and I have been incredibly satisfied with every purchase.
Andrew Leslie: Took ages to get any assistance, then it was only passing help, I would of spent significant $$$ instead I will do it online
Jason Hinchliffe: Best prices and hard to beat.
Madeline Halmarick: Came in to buy a keyboard to begin learning to play and the gentleman who helped me was so lovely, I already knew which one I was after so it was a pretty quick transaction but he was so nice and was helpful with suggestions on where to find resources and what I may want to try out in a couple of months. I believe his name was Jamie ! Lovely experience :)
Regina Buenaventura-Alawadhi: I had a wonderful experience ordering an Arturia Minilab 3 from Turramurra Music Centre. Although I was able to place an order through their website, they didn't have it in stock, but customer service resolved the issue promptly. They offered me the display model for a little bit cheaper. They even mailed it express! It arrived quickly and in excellent, just-as-new condition. Thank you Turramurra Music Centre, I now have a new toy to look forward to this Christmas holiday.
Damien Cameron: Excellent customer service.

Schedule: Open until 3:00 AM

Business type: Live music venue

Oxford Art Factory: what do users think?
Julian Doyle: Tickets don’t guarantee entree!!The inside of the venue is great, but I’ll never forget being denied from this place on a sash Sunday in spite of me having a ticket and behaving orderly, she straight up told me it didn’t matter because they “had enough fellas” that night, clearly she just didn’t like the look of me. It was the most discriminatory gross experience I’ve ever had at a club entrance, I believe her name was Amanda.Keep these gross practices out of a great club.
Qaz Plokmijn: Definitely needs some subs. Been to two dance parties recently, including Thick 'N' Juicy tonight. And the line array speakers don't really cut it. Needs some chest thumping subs at floor level. Doof doof doof doof! 😃
Andrew Raphael: Excellent sound & friendly staff.
priscilla bono: Great club! Music is bagging, drinks are great and just a vibe all together
Nola Mackay: Great music, great atmosphere, and always fun. 5 stars just doesn’t seem enough.
Andhra Ponnusamy: Hands down the best small gig venue in Sydney. I also like that after all these years they’ve keep their drinks at a reasonable price..
Natalie Maree Bennett: The official capacity is apparently 500 people, which I think is far too high given the space issues I encountered last week (it felt unsafe). Not to mention waiting 20+ mins for a drink - thirsty customers five deep and 20 wide is never a good look. Bar staff did their best (they get two stars) but other staff were rude. I left half way through the event which is a first. I will not return.
Simon Pilcher: One Night In Studio 54 party. One of the best parties….ever. Men’s toilets could do with a major overhaul..pretty disgusting
HitALickHamo: One star because the door staff were absolutely wonderful blokes. Inside however I ordered one double shot vodka and red bull and nearly had a heart attack when I saw $38 on the card reader! I asked the bartender who rudely told me ‘I watched him pour it’? I later paid $18 for a single shot later in the night. Is an extra shot $20? Rude, obnoxious bartender and outrageous prices, save your money.
Jenny Coyle: The studio 54 night was awful. No thought put into decor and music was not even relevant. I know there were a lot of people totally fed up at paying for a themed night and getting an awful small unimagined venue. They put in more effort with costumes than the venue had itself. Should be giving refunds
Brahm Vernon: Pleasant venue.
AZA BELSI: Always have had a banger time at this venue, staff has always been nice and chill as well, great place to go to events! And it's a bonus for being in the middle in the middle of everything in Oxford street.
Michael: Saw the Pierce Brothers at this venue, excellent music , good venue and vibe around the area.
Ranul Narangoda: Sound was dangerously loud. We could not hear for more than half of the next day
Lily Stracey: Got kicked out after 30 minutes in the venue for going to the bathroom with my friend…
Milan: Came here on Sunday 30/04/23 and the DJ was absolutely miserable. The venue was cool, but the music was atrocious and monotonous. Really wish the sound could live up to the potential of the venue.
Marie-Hélene Aquèmann: Good place for small gigs and bands. Seating available. Almost tripped because the stairs did not have any accessible yellow tape for colour blind folks. However, to enter the toilets... filthy. You would need to push the door to a sketchy garage looking area into the bathroom. It smelt horrible. During the concert, the door was wide open and made me want to throw up. Hope they fix this issue.
Antonia: I am actually so upset by my experience here tonight. Ive been coming to OAF for almost 10 years and have never had an experience like this I’m so disappointed. I showed my keypass at the door and neither one of the two security guards knew what it was and were not allowing me in. There is literally a PHOTO of key passes on your door stating that it’s an accepted form of ID. We pointed this out and they called someone to check. He came and checked it and was going on about how he had never seen one - fair enough, but then proceeded to say “why don’t you just get your license so it’s easier… you should probably do that”. First of all, maybe if you did your job and knew the forms of id accepted at your venue it would be easier? Secondly, I have a disability which prevents me from driving so this comment was extremely insensitive and in poor taste, as well as just completely uncalled for. It was humiliating.
Nicholas Stapley: Kicked out for “showing signs of intoxication” cause i was limping on a broken ankle, but the person sleeping next to me on a bar stool is good dw. Security are awful, DJs were amateur…
Peter Smith: Turned up for the 11pm shindig but can't get in at 11.15. Bit unprofessional, no ?
Tom Walters: No wheelchair access
