Patrick Rock: Craig and the team from Raising the Bar delivered an excellent training session to our teams, both in the beginner and intermediate levels. The training was well organised and structured. Craig kept the teams engaged throughout the entire session and was able explain both basic and intermediate concepts in an easy to understand manner. Great work!
Amy Roberts: I have completed Intermediate, Advanced and Advanced Formulas Excel course with Raising the Bar over the past few years. The first course face to face, and the other 2 via zoom. They were all delivered efficiently, professionally, patiently and allowed time to make content relative to your work challenges. i highly recommend the courses. Amy
Suzanne Gorman: I completed the Xero Essentials course this week, and I highly recommend this course with Raising the Bar. I have no accounting or Xero experience and I found the course extremely engaging and easy to understand. I came away with a confidence I didn't think I would achieve in 1 day. Mark was a brilliant teacher, who has an exceptional level of experience with Xero, both from his day to day use of Xero with his client's and also years of teaching Xero to others. Having a face to face teacher made this so much easier for me to learn. The room was set up to be COVID-safe which was also reassuring for me.
Kerrie Smith: The course was great, easy location, lovely staff. Logical and easy to follow instruction that catered for everyone.
Christine Williams: The training I received at Raising The Bar was fantastic! From the moment I made my initial enquiry through to booking and the course itself was far superior to any other IT training I have had in the past. Craig is an exceptional instructor and makes the day interesting he went above and beyond to ensure my objectives were met. I look forward to further training with Raising The Bar.
Teresa Fan: It was a great class which I have learned a lot ! The teacher is very nice and professional. Thank you.
Pearl Wu: We had a trainer came to our office today. The course was about intermediate excel that covers pivot tables. V look up. Grouping. Conditional formatting, advance formating and if function etc. The trainer was friendly and throughly explaining the concept of each function. We learned a lot from the course and definitely is useful to our work. professional presentation and easy to understand that we can practice right away during the course. Highly recommended! 😊
Eugenie Reidy: Fantastic training by a really expert and helpful trainer who went out of his way to adapt the learning to our needs. I wasn’t expecting such a truly helpful and even enjoyable session. Very impressed. Would highly recommend to others
Taru M: Raising The Bar was excellent training provider. The customer service were great, Excel course was very helpful and I learned more than I could've wish for. Special thank you for the patient and flexible trainer who made the course very enjoyable and interesting.
Kary Lai: After researching several companies and reaching out for quotes, I found RTB to be at the best price point we were after and decided to schedule an onsite class for my organisation.Mark was informative, efficient and a pleasure to work with and gave me prompt responses and all the information I needed. Craig was our trainer and he too was informative and efficient in the way he tailored his training for the class. After the positive feedback from the first class, I did not hesitate to contact Mark and have Craig come onsite for further classes at all 3 levels.I definitely recommend RTB for their professionalism and expertise and I will not hesitate to recommend them to other people.
Charles Beckett: We engaged these guys to conduct some training across our organisation. I have just attended the fist course run by Craig and found it to be very good. He took to the time to fully explain concepts and illustrate examples along the way. This included showing the group some "real world" instances of the things we were learning, as well as tailoring some of the lesson to our specific application and needs along the way. I thought the facilities where excellent and the day ran very smoothly. Thanks Craig and team.
Sarah Hutchinson: Awful awful customer service. I have actually cancelled my booking as for the cost - it's not worth dealing with this training company. Would not recommend this one. Expensive.
Tammy Sun: Raising the Bar is definitely one of the most professional and effective training providers I have dealt with. Their team of trainers are highly experienced, patient and flexible, and are able to tailor course delivery based on participants' different level of needs. I would highly recommend Raising the Bar to anyone seeking computer based training courses.
dean galea: I recently attended the WordPress Essentials course with Raising the Bar. I was greeted with welcoming staff and nice modern facilities. My trainer was very knowledgeable and accommodated all skill levels. There were plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get additional demonstrations. I didn't need to bring a single thing to the course as Raising the Bar provided the latest and greatest technology both meeting the needs for mac and windows users. Upon course completion I received a certificate and a Visual Quickstart Guide to Wordpress book which is over 275 pages that cover each and every corner of WordPress. I absolutely recommended this course to anyone who wants to quickly learn WordPress or just needs an up-date. I also highly recommend Raising the Bar as a training provider. They were very professional and informative throughout the entire process or organising the course.
Karen Brown: The team at Raising the Bar are professional, friendly and very skilled. They provided us with excellent assistance to remedy the issues we had with our spreadsheet data base!
Peter Hind: I had a fantastic personal & professional training class with Raising The Bar
Megan C: Great training session which covered my requirememnts. The trainer knew his material inside out and communicated it in a way that suited our audience. The trainer was adaptable, helpful and took time to explain when we asked questions. Thanks again!
Timothy O'Connor: I have attended three training courses so far and the quality has been excellent. The classes have been very informative and the instructors take the time to explain the content. The benefits of these courses are already showing and have unquestionably improved the quality of my work.

Soo Kang: Professional trainers, well-prepared materials, convenient location (in North Sydney) with a nice view🏙️, and Clean environment.Highly Recommended!😀👍🏻
John Glynn: The customer service consultant didn't listen and spoke non-stop without saying anything worthwhile. It was obvious that he didn't know his stuff and was trying to bluff his way through. When I asked him to listen rather than talk over the top of me, he hung up.
Ivica Golubić: Excellent staff and great experience, very useful! Highly recommend
belinda zhu: One of the best training workshop i have attended! Strongly recomended!
Adewuyi Ayodele Adeyinka: An highly professional training centre with excellent and passionate staff and trainers.

Odyssey Training Sydney: what do users think?
Fiona Hanrahan: Great trainer, great facilities, delicious lunch, informative
René Jeżewski: Very personalised training approach.
Bridget G: I did an excel course on pivot tables and I found it really useful, it was things that I would use at my work. I would recommend it.
Kerry Huang: Very good training course SharePoint 2013
MEGAN MOSSMAN: Thoroughly enjoyed the Train the Trainer course through Odyssey! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to either begin their career as a trainer or build on their knowledge and experience. It really suits all types! The course was also extremely interactive, so I felt you got out what you put in. I will be looking at Odyssey first when considering future training due to this positive experience!
Hendrik Bunardy: Very good training and trainer. Recommended.
winner yeahmate: Had a good training course with them. Would recommend.Although in Cantonese Chinese, the name sounds a bit funny which adds to the charm :)
Yun Jeong Lee: Ive done a communication skills course and coaching course Excellent course, very practical with knowledgeable facilitator. Trainer is very patient and friendly.
Mandy Pement: Helen trained us in a small group of 4. She was very knowledgable, thorough, and provided many tips and advice on how to become an effective trainer myself. Highly Recommended!
Anna: Their refund policy is pathetic. They postponed from December 2017 to January 2018 when there were less/no enrollments, I accepted it. But when I had a personal emergency they would not move my course to a different date nor would they put me into another course or give me a refund. The organization is heartless and I will not recommend this training institute to anyone.
Matthew Arnold: I really enjoyed the Stress&Resilience course that Odyssey Training conducted in October. The content and trainer provided me with many new strategies and skills to handle a very busy lifestyle and job and would highly recommend to anyone looking to better themselves.
Angelica Fortunato: A really interesting, easy-going and informative learning environment!
Tyson Gurleyen: Very thorough, very patient, friendly and understanding. Kathryn Williams is one of the best trainers I have experienced and look forward to more knowledge!!!
Mitch Cini: Great course with experienced facilitators. The SharePoint Owner training I attended in Sydney was well structured and engaging as you put your skills to use throughout the course by building your own custom SharePoint site. I have been able to put what i learnt to use as soon as I returned to my workplace the following week. Thanks Odyssey.
Karen Boer: The training was great. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Nora Gayford: The staff are so friendly and helpful. Everything is run so well and organised. The facilities are fantastic and the love the follow up help that is offered after the courses!!
Jemimah Lai: It was a small group and very productive with good course contents.
Sally Miles: This review is for the Creative Thinking & Problem Solving one-day course. The trainer was excellent. The group was small - 7 people including me - which made for very productive, thoughtful discussions and efficient execution of group work tasks. The course focused mostly around group tasks with small amounts of 'lecturing' interspersed throughout, which was a great way to really absorb the material taught. The content wasn't world-changing for me; it felt more like good reinforcement of what I had thought was common sense. The exact strategies taught were, for the most part, only new insofar as I had not heard them outlined that way before.I think the course would be great for someone who hasn't had much experience trying to solve workplace/business problems, or for someone who is looking for the best way to lead a team to drive innovation. It was not ideal for me.
Lynette Loy: Real world examples from someone who really knows how Pivot Tables can be used in Business
Kerry Andrews: Excel training was excellent - highly recommended!
Cat Bowen: Excellent training and facilities

Centre for Continuing Education - University of Sydney: what do users think?
Zoe Adams: Wish I had read the reviews before attending… this was the worst up-skilling experience I have had. The teachers for each course were glamourised scammers, spouting harmful messages about “people from concentration camps choosing to be victims when they could have made the most out of their lives” and that the women in the class would have a hard time practising a speech that was written for men. There were also other things that came up and one of the two teachers was just completely incompetent. The fact that this is associated with the University of Sydney implies the people taking these classes are good at what they do or have some skill but after making a complaint I was told I wasn’t eligible for compensation because they flicked through the slideshow and ticked the box. Would never ever ever go here and suggest everyone save their money.
Grechka Varenaya: BEWARE - awful customer service and TERRIBLE language coursesTake great care in purchasing anything from this centre as their insane cancellation policy is 24 hrs from date of purchase. A refund was refused even in the case of a serious health situation - absolutely zero compassion, disgusting and shameful. The Italian language course that I have done in the past was also absolutely awful - the teacher spoke English very badly and generally, the course was just all over the place, she was impossible to understand and follow, could not answer questions properly, I learned almost nothing (and I generally have no problems with learning). Stay away. Go to the Italian Institute to learn Italian.
Matt Rheuben: Joe Alvaro- rudest person I have ever been involved with.
Deborah Newington: Great course content and trainer. Convenient location, and a lovely lunch included.
Sami Smith: Had the worst experience of my life here, I went there for a company funded training course for SQL and the instructor had the worst attitude. Even though i told him at beginning that i have no experience in SQL but still he singled me out in class and constantly bombard me with humiliating lines like "you are slowing down the whole class" , "your peers are miles ahead of you" and the list is long he could have just ignored me and carry on with the class but he chose to humiliate me in front of whole class, will never go there again and will not recommend this place to anyone
Anne Gordon: They cancelled a course and refused to give me a full refund. I cannot recommend the CCE.
Eamon MacDermott: Have done multiple language courses through CCE and the customer service and the courses themselves are always top notch.
Kat JD: Please do not attend training here - not worth your money. The facilitation is mediocre and is extremely unorganised with materials not available until a day before the session and the facilitator does not follow the curriculum in order, nor finishing the course off in the specified time. No follow ups, nothing. This is specifically related to Business Writing Skills Course. They blamed COVID for this but unfortunately, it got worse. The facilitator even stated that a paying member 'was not there' for the session and was absent. This was not true as the member took photos at the time of the room etc. and thankfully showed proof that she was in attendance. After all of that, one can safely say this is not an institute worth of rolling out training as they even have the audacity to go against their word when they offered me a credit for the curriculum not being completed/facilitator being unorganised and now, they are saying that this credit is no longer available and it was never agreed too. Why would one lie about this and retract on their word?My advice, CCE it is not worth your money - find a professional institute with an organised team who can properly train and have respect for teaching.
Ariane Francesca Paguia: Good courses offered to gain continuous learning! I tried two couses: Data Visualisation & Story Telling and Business Analytics course, both are 8-hour course in 1 day. The facilitators have good real life example from field, and can let you appreciate the concepts better. It can help with personal growth and career improvement. I would highly recommend these courses.
sam heaton: I mistakenly selected a different date to the course on a drop down menu , so I missed it by accident, thinking it was still in the future. Their reminders went into my junk mail. Upon discovering I contacted them and asked to log in to a future zoom course, as I never accessed the first one, which they acknowledged. They told me they would just keep $1800.00 and not offer me the chance to log in to a future one. Morally bankrupt. Well done
At Home: The service here is appalling. Go and learn somewhere else and don't bother wasting your money at this rip off dodgy company.
Juan Too: I did the course - Scaled Agile Scrum Master (SSM) through CCE, last year. I thought that the quality is as good as any professional registered training organisation (RTO) in Sydney.I have recommended CCE to my family and workmates too and they’ve taken on a few Courses themselves already. The tuition fee is very ‘reasonable - definitely affordable! Unlike the RTOs in the City of Sydney which are at least twice the cost, CCE gives a fair price for their courses. For this, to me, CCE is a champion for new work starters, job searchers and new graduates.I am trying to do more IT and Management courses with CCE, this year 2019. I was also informed by CCE that, if someone have enrolled at least 5 times with them, then that person will be eligible for further discounts to any future courses. For these reasons, I give CCE - 5 stars. More power to you CCE
Lauren Lee: I have done two Adobe courses here and i absolutely loved them! The lecturer Anthony, knows his stuff, he is really organised and is very helpful!!!- i know InDesign and Adobe XD in detail now after one lesson!Fantastic teacher, would highly recommend him !!!
Wayne Smith: Very poor customer service.
james deng: they are the worst of worst, especially the google ads word course
F. Ward: I did a beginner's German language course here and I was very disappointed. Firstly there were 20 people in the course - which is just too many for a language class. Secondly despite being advertised as a complete beginners course, most of the other students enrolled had done German before, so they completely dominated group work and had no patience with any one who was a genuine beginner. The tutor was competent enough I guess, but as others have mentioned the CCE customer service either completely rude or non-existent. Once they have your money they don't care what kind of an experience you have.
Evelyn: Excellent.
Jade Blake: I am currently studying level 3 Spanish at CCE & wouldn't recommend doing language classes here. Although my level 1 teacher, Maria was an absolute gem & an amazing teacher who I learnt so much with, going up to level 2 & now level 3, I have had a bad experience. The teachers can barely speak a word of Spanish & think that by just speaking at you in Spanish for 2.5 hours, you will learn. In level 2, I wrote to the teacher asking if she could speak a bit more in English because it's too confusing & she responded 'it's inconvenient for me to speak in English'...I have tried asking for clarification on things & the teachers just say it in different ways but still only in Spanish simply because they don't know much English. Also the class I am currently in has no reception & there is no wifi access unless you're a student enrolled in the uni- it is ridiculous that in a room where you can't even use your phone for a Spanish to English dictionary you also have a teacher talking at you in a language you don't know. An appalling service offered by CCE & they don't have any power to do anything about this when you call to complain either.
J P: I've been learning mandarin through CCE. They did such a good job with the course. I'll continue to learn next semeser
Ricky Jin: I've been learning Mandarin at CCE. It's been excellent. The teacher is awesome and the course content is very useful. I'll continue for semesters to come.
Richard Donnelly: Excellent short courses for adult learning

Amol Ghoddke: Good institute with friendly staff. Trainer Gyanu Acharya was really great and had sound knowledge of Crystal reports. The institute can and should upgrade their technology though. The computers had low res monitors and ran on XP. Good experience overall.
Sitalaxmi Pai: Friendly, professional and approachable training institute. My team bought vouchers from Forrest training. The staff helped me to allocate them to my team members and colleagues effectively. They are located at a convenient location. Trainers Direct: what do users think?
Elyse Lane: We recently participated in a Train the Trainer workshop. It was a fantastic experience. I learned so much that I will continue to use in the future. Our trainer Lauren was excellent. I would recommend this course for anyone wanting to learn about practical ways to engage adult learners.
Jessica Wood: I completed some one on one training for Excel with Anita. I walked in with minimal knowledge of how excel works and walked out feeling confident to use the program. Anita’s approach of explaining how the program works, step by step, and then transferring this into exercises was very helpful as it allowed me to fully understand what Anita had taught me. I was able to confidently complete the exercises and create spreadsheets using the techniques that I was taught. I highly recommend Anita for any IT training. She does not disappoint.
