Now I know they are a business and need to make a profit but holy mackrel. £500 is the constant here ok. So think about this $968 - $784= $184 difference 🤯 dont forget £500 is the constant. Louis Bhim: Absolutely terrible rates. Got stitched up buying Mexican pesos here for 9.3 when market rate is 13.3 and most competitors look to be offering 12.20. Do not go to this place. I should have read the other reviews first.

Sjaak Verstappen: Needed to withdraw a large sum of money for an upcoming US trip. Visited crown currency exchange in Sydney who offered us a poor initial rate. When we said we'd prefer to look elsewhere, the teller said she could give us a better rate, ONLY if we decided to complete the transaction then and there, but she wouldn't disclose the rate to us because she thought we would leave and not proceed with the exchange. We finally got the rate from her and decided to go ahead but she needed confirmation from her manager first. After waiting for 10 minutes, her manager finally got back to her but said the rate would be slightly worse than what she offered! We went to another exchange and they offered us a significantly better rate upfront without needing to haggle.All in all, a shady experience!

Luke C: Be aware that for less common currencies this place will rip you off. I would be too ashamed to offer these rates, but I suppose they have no shame.Offered 9 MXN when the real rate is 13. Can get 30% more from their competitors. I would never deal with a business like this.

I rang back and it rang for a while before answer machine came on and said they were busy and asking me to leave my number for him to ring me back and before I could leave my details a computer voice said "goodbye" and disconnected the call !!!

barrybuckle: This place needs to have a word to the guy working the counter. I was 3rd in line and it took him 25 minutes to serve 2 people in front of me because he was talking rubbish to them. Mate do your job and politely converse but it's not a mother's club meeting. I ended up leaving so you lost a customer.

Chris Smith: Went there Friday Dec 2, 2022 after reading all the great reviews. Well I must say the reviews are correct. This place has some of the best rates of any currency exchange rates I've ever used and the employee working that day was awesome. He offered me a rate that make some of the other currency exchanges look like crooks. Whatever you do, don't use the airport currency exchanges...they were almost $200.00 less when converting $1000.00 CAD to AUS. So glad I found them and will use them going forward. Just wish they had branches in other cities.

Deano Donkin: After reading the 1 star reviews from previous customers I was a little dubious to use this particular branch to collect my money. The first visit, they didn't have the correct amount of money so was sent away - no apology. I went back the next day, and from the money transfer country to Australia somehow the data wasn't entered correctly so my first name was missing. My surname, address, amount, and all other details were filed correctly. Even though another colleague said it was up to the discretion of the clerk, he decided (even though I offered up my full passport + had a signed and stamped piece of paper with the correct details) he wasn't going to release the money. This same clerk 'BEN' knew I had to come back. So I had to make 3 trips to the same branch to get the money that was all filled out correctly. No apology for sending me away. There is a certain way to carry yourself in customer service, particularly if you know the particular case, i'm surprised BEN is allowed to work in customer relations let alone WESTERN UNION allowing this particular branch as a facilitator. Very bad for business. Find another branch, or you'll end up writing another poor review. Only got 1 star because 0 stars isn't an option.
