Hands down to the best fine dinning Indian restaurant, I would say. The flavours even in a simple parantha felt like made at home. The mains had the flavour of true Indian spices. The place is located underground and just when you enter you will be mesmerised by the interiors giving you the feel of Rajasthani and Gujarati ambience. The food and the service was just fabulous.

Christmas lunch at The Grand Palace is simply outstanding. Great venue, exquisite food and to top it all off - wonderful staff making the whole experience sensational. With one gluten free very well catered for, with a flavorsome entree & main and decadent desert. What can I say but - A very big thank you to the whole The Grand Palace team. We will be back - & tell all we can of the wonderful experience fully enjoyed.

As you walk down the stairs , you enter an amazing site , a well decorated and lovely dining experience, vegetable curry was great and tasty , the staff very friendly with a smile and good service. I would recommend a visit to this traditional Indian restaurant to taste authentic Indian cuisine

Had a beautiful time here and this restaurant under new management located in the heart of Sydney CBD on George Street is a game changer. Make this your No 1 fine dining experience if you are thinking of Indian food in the CBD. I took my whole team from Westpac (14 people) for lunch prior to the Holi festival and they were in awe of the dishes. The ambience is mind blowing and as you enter you will be blown by the Indian decor. The wooden carvings on the doors and the design will make you think you are in India. Make sure you take some snaps while enjoying the fine dining. There are a lot of Asian restaurants in Sydney claiming to be authentic Indian and a lot of them don't live up to the claim. The food is great, especially the entree platters, chicken biryani and the hot naans and rotis. Must visit.

I had such an amazing time here for dinner! I don’t typically try much Indian food, but the staff were so accommodating and recommended the most delicious dishes. Conveniently located next to Wynyard Station, so it’s a great place to go after work. The butter chicken + cheese and garlic naan bread combo was sooo amazing, I’ll definitely be back to have more!!! I highly recommend it here for any Indian food lovers or people that just love trying new things!

Mind Blowing Taste! I flew all the way from Melbourne to Sydney just to try the Indian food after hearing a lot of praises and I have to say.. It was totally worth it!! The taste of this particular restaurant was authentic and real.. this is what real Indian food is.. the restaurant was super busy but that didn’t hinder the quality of service they provided.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO MY MELBOURNIANS!!
