Wholegreen Bakery CBD Cafe: what do users think?
Roxane Dehkordi: I am writing because numerous people had previously reviewed this place saying that there are several vegan options, but unfortunately that is not the case. Only plain bread and one chocolate chip cookie are available. Although the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, I must express my disappointment. In such a central location in a metropolis like Sydney, in times of climate change, it is not acceptable to not offer a vegan and hence climate friendly alternative. I wish they would bring back the vegan sandwich that they apparently used to have and maybe add in a vegan banana bread - this will cater to omnivorous people as well and you could become an inclusive and responsible place with little risk.
Sam Isaacs: Coffee was good but the pan au chocolate was a small stodgy loaf of bread with chocolate in it.
yajna rugjee: Worse almond croissant ever. Was thick like a breadFood: 5/1|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/3 …More
Krzysztof Budzynski: Recommended dishes Quiche SandwichMore
Holly Pearson: The best place in Sydney for gluten free options. I wholeheartedly recommend as an essential visit if you are coeliac or gluten free. I enjoyed the almond croissant especially but the savoury salad and pastry options are also delicious!! We need more places like this around the world! The most delicious gluten free cakes and pastries I have ever eaten, and that is said with no exaggeration!
Claire Weaver: Disappointing. Specifically came for the gf food but croissant was so dense and oily, I couldn’t finish it.
Lauren Lodge-West: Food is really delicious and excellent variety for coeliacs. On the pricey side but to be expected for good quality gluten free products. However, every time I’ve been I have experienced hostile service, especially from the manager lady who is very unpleasant and clearly not very nice to the other staff members, which I have witnessed multiple times. I have also seen her be rude to customers and it’s enough to put you off!
Duff's Ice Cream: We had the best experience here! Incredible service. The manager noticed our group of 4 squeezed on a table for two and asked if she could move us to a better spot with heaps of room. This tiny detail in a busy cafe was so kind and showed such a high level of customer service . The food was delish and the service fast. Highly recommend.
Denise Jonker: Best glutenfree pie I've had! 100% recommend this place for celiacs who want to satisfy their pie cravings.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pastries Gluten-Free …More
Georgie Northcoat: Really great food for gf - so many baked options.Incredibly expensive though. 10% additional charge for dining in with table service that is not exceptional. Any sauces or extras they charge $1+ for also. Seems unnecessary.Definitely a “once in a while” thing for the novelty of eating gf and having options.
Gabi Duke: Food was gluten free and delicious, the team looked a little disheartened when we visited. Might just have just been an off day though.
JOHN “Ginger” L.: Nah... Your business is not good to us.We are ongoing gluten free family for decades now and your putrid food is not fine fettle to our family. we understand what gluten food is for sure. My 6yo probably knows more about the harms gluten causes to the body then you do.If there is retailers re selling your products is up to them and frankly is not my business.Just a honest feedback that your products are too expensive, your service is desirable to be average and no quality found. We enjoy many other gluten free bakers in town, we appreciate good food. Definitely we are not coming back to your bakery.i quickly saw some of other reviews is not only us.i wish you well and"break a leg"
Digital Content Creator: Attended is rude and disrespectful. Quality of food is good but unfortunately i never recommend this café because toxic attitude of old lady. Worst cafe at sydney City i have ever went.Recommended dishes Vegan Sandwich …More
Mark Rees: All food is gluten free. Recommend the 🥧 'sFood: 5/5|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/3Dietary restrictions accommodated Vegetarian, Gluten free Recommendation for vegetarians Not sure …More
Emily: great gluten free options… pies were a bit bland but it is one of few options in CBD for coeliacs. service could be better, felt like we were inconveniencing the woman serving us!
Hugh Heggen: A nice selection of baked items but a bit expensive. Food was good
Daniel Piepers: A hidden gem in Sydney. Best gluten-free pastries I've had since getting diagnosed as coeliac 10 years ago. Super friendly staff and very warm and welcoming atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: Great range of gluten free pies and sausage rolls also! Lovely pastry and fresh ingredients.
Peita Rose: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Salad, Lemon Meringue Gluten-Free, Quiche Sandwich, Smoked Salmon Baguette, Croissant Pain Au Chocolate and Raspberry Danish, Vegan Sandwich, Pastie, French Lentil, Rose Wine, Seeded Sourdough Gluten-Free, Lemon Tart Gluten-Free, Piccolo, Pastries Gluten-Free, Chocolate Beignet, Croque Monsieur with Salad, Beetroot Cake, Pain Au Chocolat, Large Danish, Charcuterie & Cheese Plate Dietary restrictions accommodated Gluten free, Dairy freeMore
Martha: Very rude staff with a very bad attitude to the customers. You go there to spend money and you hope to be served in the right way but it is definitely not! I was served by a girl, probably Spanish and I only was asking her the ingredients in the sandwich but she was extremely and visibly boring to work there due her bad mood. she was surprised and almost upset about my "stupid" question about sandwiche's ingredients becuase they were wrote down... Which is crazy becuase it is her job, answer people and serve them in a nice way!!! Definitely not a place where to enjoy your break from work!
A A: If you are looking for the worst almond croissant, you have found it!
Maye plese: Delicious gluten free food, and impressive baked goods. However, when checking out I was asked if I would like to dine, and was told there is a 10% surcharge to dine in.10% surcharge to eat in a restaurant seems very excessive, especially considering it was a Tuesday morning. Not sure if this something cafes can charge for, seems very dodgy.

Wholegreen Bakery & Cafe Waverley: what do users think?
Ashleigh McFarland: Gluten free heaven. Best sausage roll and croissant that I’ve ever had. I will come back time and time again! 😀Recommended dishes Almond Croissant …More
David Pegg: Even if you’re not gluten sensitive, the food is enjoyable. If you are a baked goods enthusiast, then you maybe hesistant to come to such a venue, but don’t worry, you are in good hands here. The tomato pesto croissant was very crunchy and delicious. The quality of ingredients is second to none, great for a picky family. The wait staff are happy to educate you on their products and are most pleasant to deal with. Thank you for a lovely time
Jason Gardner: Spectacular ❣️I crave these pastries and piesHands down the Best gluten free bakery in Sydney if not the entire country 🙌🏽I know because I head here directly every time I fly in to Sydney for workGreat service, big smiles from the kitchen too🤩Thank You Wholegreen Bakery for making my tastebuds and tummy very happy l
JOHN “Ginger” L.: Very disappointing place...Very expensive, rude service and quality of bread we purchased were horrible. (straight to the bin). We do not recommend this place to anyone.
Bel Bazan: Buen lugar, falta variedad
Andres Achury: Thank you guys you change my morning with a wonderful Coffee!!
Vega Foster: Amazing cafe! Matcha is house made and can be sweetened as you like - no premixed matcha lattes here!Everything here is made with rice flour making it gluten free - highly recommend the fruit tart!
Lu Sekerkova Whole Monkey: I went today with my daughters to buy bread (each bread marked as $10.90 behind the counter) and as I handed $11 to the last the cash register she asked me for extra money for Sunday surcharge??? I wasn't dining in, just buying a loaf of bread and she was adamant that from today they have Sunday surcharge on everything. There was no sign at all. She tried to justify that prices of ingredients are getting more expensive???? what? just increase the price to reflect the price increase, seems like a pretty bad business decision in that case. Absolutely disappointed and experience put me off from going back.
Linda N: I was looking up places nearby our outing that my sister and i could relax and eat at and came across this cafe. I saw that all their items were gluten free and had to take my gluten intolerant sister here. seeing her face when i told her all the items here were gluten free really made it worthwhile to me. We got the Beef and onion meat pie along with a chocolate eclair and an almond milk latte. we had to ask a worker there to reheat the pie but outside of that, there were no issues. The pie when reheated had a delightful buttery crust and the meat was soft. i regret digging into the pastry lid first before it was reheated, i can only imagine how crisp it would have been. the chocolate eclair was so good! i'd have that over the traditional eclair even. the almond milk latte was nice, didn't leave any harsh after taste. any alternative milk from Milklab is always good.My sister decided to buy a berry tart and croissant to go afterwards. We tried a bit of the berry tart it was so good too. i look forward to her telling me how the croissant is.The workers were friendly and the vibe the cafe gave was quite relaxing. This place showed me that gluten free options can be wonderful too and it makes me happy for my sister.
Nikki Wellington: Happiness is ..... Everything gluten free and tastes Amazing!!!!
Kurt Hayman: Never had a drier more disappointing pie in my lifePastry that disintegrated on the plate revealing a moistureless flavourless contentsAt ten dollars for a pie one would expect not to walk away regretting the decision to eat here
Benjamin Hickman (The Kizomba Physio): Honestly the best gluten free pastry in Sydney. Great selection and tasty food. Highly recommended, for everyone!
Matthew Terelinck: Food was OK without being anything to write home about, staff were surly and disinterested and took 15 minutes to toast a Reuben Sandwich during a relatively quiet period.Given how busy this place always seems when I drive past, I have left quite underwhelmed.
Chris Howley: I was a regular here and would mostly only get the almond croissant, it was huge, sweet and tasty, me and my partner loved them they could only just fit in the bag.I moved away and my parter just visited to relive the thing we loved only to find they were now a tiny little thing nowhere close to what it was and not any cheaper .Very disappointing!
Ali Zeinali: Although the quality of breads and pastries here are great, the staff (seems recently changed) are not fit for what they do:- the staff are not trained to consider the minimum hygiene: they take cash from people and with the same hand touch the 'the inner side' of everyone's coffee cup when they hold it to write the coffee order on them.- Two little ladies, not the barista lady, also are often confused on using the right box size for your a-few-item-order; it is either too small that they end up giving you extra loose paper bags or the box is too large that the pastries loosely move around and destroyed before they get home in transport.- Both two little ladies, not the barista, are often slow and confused when taking orders and take so long to capture the order and the payment.I am sure with a bit of hygiene training for the staff and using smart staff for order taking, things will improve to match the food quality.
Alex Elfes: An absolutely wonderful and friendly cafe. Staff were exceptionally nice, the food and coffee was amazing, and the location very accessible. Everything was Celiac friendly and amazing. Will return!!
Dave Zildan: A beautiful bakery and lovely cakes there. It's very nice.
Jacquie martin: Popped in last week to do my usual stock up as I don't live close by. My last visit was over 6 months ago and something has changed-I am wondering if the food is no longer baked on-site? Bread was as good as ever but the baked goods/pastries I purchased just didn't taste the same/as good-pastry seemed very heavy especially the pan au chocolate. New cakes are also very heavy- if goods are being mass baked offsite then something is not right with the processes or ingredients from a 30 year G/F veteran!
Hari Narayan: I'm vegan and i was searching the Croissant 🥐 which is gulten free...finally i found Wholegreenbakery .I went and brought 2 almond 🥐 and one cappuccino. The croissant is delicious 💯......Staff are polite and maintaining hygiene.
Drew: Was incredibly impressed with this place. Really good food. Great coffee, good atmosphere
Tim Y: GF Pie!? Yummy!!!!

Imperial Gluten Free Bakery: what do users think?
guess who: Went here today around 12.30but it seemed like the bakery was closed even though google showed that it’s opened-edit: thanks so much for responding and I am sorry to hear that :( hopefully y’all can find more staff members 🙏🏻 I’ll visit next time when it’s opened again
Ty Fairbrother: I have recently switched to gluten free. The bread is amazing. Fresh, light and fluffy and above all, tasty!
Misstippytoes Clown: Best banana bread ever.
Mariam Hany Saad: Bad service, always late. unfresh food. Found glass in banana bread
joss: Best place in Sydney for gluten free goodies
Leyla: The best gluten free bread I’ve had. A must try if you are gluten free. All their breads are on point, so happy to have found this place.
Noel Hanrahan: Always so helpful and delicious food
David Alce: My celiac wife absolutely loves the bread from here. She says it's close enough to normal bread you can actually make a sandwich with it without having to toast it
Chris Burgess: Turned up at 1pm and it was closed
Jonti Dimond: Hidden gem amazing lemon meringue tarts
Damian Vassallo: Great selection of Gluten freeVery friendly staff
Lara: Best Gluten free bakery around! Their pizza bases and banana bread are our family favourites
Lara Sophia: I've ordered from Imperial Gluten Free Bakery once before, and they were absolutely amazing, however after making another online purchase in September 2019 and following up many times, and after i had requested a refund to which was agreed with new management, more radio silence.Baked goods are amazing, don't order online.
J Syd: they were so kind! and fresh!
Susan Rembovska: Fresh GF products
Lynne Cole: OMG they were right when they said I’ll be back the cakes are heavenly ❤️
Evan W: The most amazing bread and donuts and gluten free delights. The gf sourdough is amazing and the new'ish vegan gf bread rolls are incredibly soft and yum
Angela Mariani: Great gluten free products and friendly staff
Cam Mcintyre: Made a large online order through Imperials bakery, was called the next day to say that they did not have half the items. Took them two weeks to deliver items (after two weeks not all the food items were ready and had to get a partial refund on some items). Food items where posted in box with no ice packs or styrofoam to keep product cold. Items showed up two days after posted by company, this meant that all the items had defrosted and were unable to be consumed leading to us throwing the items out. Donuts where good, we will be returning to store front next time to ensure that we do not get messed around.
Chris Kirk: Try their Eclairs, fantastic! Love all their stuff.
keone little: Great products, shop front and display could use a bit of work

Andrew M: Very disappointing. I've been a customer for 10 years and now I am not allowed to order from them directly

Bill Paige: Nice
Alexander Soldatos: Amazing and fast delivered gluten free bread! Delicious and tasty. Definitely one of the best online bakery on the net :) Can't recommend enough, makes my weekly shop 100 x easier.
Sarah Guptill: Fantastic products and great service. My delivery arrived mouldy thanks to a delay by the courier company. Choices Gluten Free did not hesitate to refill my order and actually delivered it themselves! Thank you for going above and beyond. My 5 year old was so excited to be able to eat toast this morning 😊

Nonie's Food: what do users think?
Jules Odgers: Love, love, LOVE Noni's. The charcoal GF bread is AMAZING as well as their seeded one. The GF aranchini is exceptional too, what a bummer I only had one for the car ride. Rather scoffable. Gorgeous pastries and ofcourse, lovely staff. Worth the drive or even better head to the Eveleigh Markets.
Olivia Grasso: I hardly ever leave reviews, but Nonie’s Lightly Golden gluten free bread is not only the best gluten free bread I’ve ever tried, but I’d say the best bread I’ve ever had.
Liam Dwyer: The best ever gluten free bread and foods. Amazing carrot (breakfast) cake and miso caramel tart. The seasonal products for Easter and Christmas (mince pies and pan pepato) must try items too.
Monika Cozzupoli: Amazing gluten free crackers and sweet treats
James Boags: Great gluten free bakery and some vegan options (cakes and some breads aren't vegan).

Vegan Grocery Store Sydney: what do users think?
Nikki Ralston: Wonderful, products and service. Refunded a cooler bag purchase when they realised I wouldn't need it where I was. Very ethical!
More MediaBoy13: Beautiful atmosphere, amazing selection of products, kind staff and lovely service
Sesame Sprinkles: This small store offers a diversity of vegan products, ranging from food, cosmetics, bags to pet food. They have a large variety of things! Some of which are imported, while others are Australian products.I had the impression that items are changing quickly. Whenever I visited, something had changed or went out of stock. Also, the order of products was not very systematic, because some items appeared in another shelf several times.Prices are generally high (and may be higher than elsewhere). But staff is very friendly and you can collect points if you become a regular customer.
Cheryl Forrest-Smith: A HUGE thank you to all the team at the VGS for your increasingly, overwhelming range of excellent, plant-based goodies! And especially grateful for your wonderful work raising awareness, educating, and changing attitudes - Creating a kinder world for all other species in the most delicious way. Long may you reign!
John Snodgrass: They have a nice variety of food. The staff were very friendly and helped me with choices as I was buying things for a vegan friend.
Srikanth Ramaswami: Great place for Vegan lovers
Lisa Wheeler: A wonderfully airy little grocery packed with all the vegan goodies you never knew you needed in your life! They stock Funky pies too which saves a trip to Bondi beach! Being in Glebe is also advantageous as there is Soul burger and Oh my days nearby so after all your shopping you can have a savoury or sweet vegan bite.Highly recommend this great little store.
Heather Watson: Excellent service provided by Ruby who made sure my order was completed...delivered promptly in excellent condition and good value for the price...
E Patto: We were extremely excited to finally be able to buy so many options all in the one place. We placed an order with this company, it got delivered a week later by Aramex and when we opened the box all the ice packs were melted and warm to touch. The vegan meats were all warm to touch as well. I contacted the store straight away and they said they did nothing wrong and they are a small business that cannot afford to send cold products via a refrigerated truck. I’m sorry but Aramex warehouses should not house cold products and if you cannot deliver cold products safely then you shouldn’t be offering delivery to different states in Australia. That is a huge health and safety issue! We had to throw out all of the ‘meat’ products (over $100) because they were all warm and yet we can’t even get a refund. What an absolute joke of a company.
Bellavita Pizzeria: I have been getting products from vegan store for over two years. The variety and quality is amazing. My customer are often questioning if I’m sure I didn’t use real meat on their pizza😅. Keep upGreat work, thank you.
Nancy: Great service and their large range makes it easy to try vegan products I have never tried before. I also love that it's shipped to my door.
Morgan Webb: Love this store! Super friendly and helpful staff and a large selection of vegan items!
A: The mark up on products can be overpriced, but this place really is your one-stop-shop for vegan alternatives.
Natalie Ingram: Great for human animals and every other animal on the Planet 💚 please support this business
J K: Super disappointing that delivery is so expensive. $14 flat rate for shipping is ridiculous. There is no reason it needs to be this expensive. I was about to check out my order but once I seen the shipping rate, no thanks.
WENDY WINDSOR: Terrible service and can’t be reached by phone or email
Peru Street Dogs: Vegan Grocery Store is in a new location, across the street from the old store, and wow, just wow! The range of quality vegan products is amazing! I grabbed a basket and shopped confident that all items from bags and Easter eggs to a huge range of cheeses are completely vegan. No more do I have to read lists of ingredients which used to be very time consuming and difficult. The Vegan Grocery Store is a wonderful treat for vegan and non-vegans too, in fact for everyone who cares about animals. There are literally thousands of products and very knowledgeable staff who can help with information.
Kris Clark: For a modest premises, this place holds a huge range of quality products that you'd struggle to import, let-alone purchase elsewhere. Lovingly maintained by friendly, non-prosthelytising vegans, they offer a wealth of personal experience to advise customers about what really tastes great, performs well, or lasts for ages! Gradually evolving the online, point of sale technology and options, I'm going to continue being a regular customer for *years*!
Paull Scudds: What an amazing experience i had dealing with this company. Ruby went out of her way on numerous occasions to satisfy my order. highly recommend. Thank you Ruby
Kerry Shinn: Great products, fast delivery and amazing customer service. I sent in an email regarding my delivery and got a call back from the lovely Ruby straight away.
Jane: Amazing range of products, plus super helpful and friendly staff. I shop here once a week since I moved to the area - for staples like cheeses, but also the 'guilty pleasures' like sweets, whipping cream, mock meats, and my favorite vegan pies - funky pies!
