City Fertility Sydney Liverpool | A Global Leader in Fertility and IVF: what do users think?
Scott C: After seeing the earlier review from "Annoymous" (enough said there really), I felt compelled to offer a differing point of view of my experience with City Fertility & Dr. Tang.I found the staff very friendly, welcoming and discrete from my first engagement with City Fertility Liverpool back in 2018. The nurse Virginia sat down with my wife and I for the initial free consultation, going through the process, what we could expect, and the financial side of things. From there, we signed up and were assigned Dr. Georgiana Tang as our specialist. Dr. Tang has a very vibrant personality, remains very positive but also doesn't give false hope. We found her to be easy to understand, very well qualified, and in touch with the latest technologies available in IVF medicine. I strongly disagree with the other review, referring to Dr. Tang as being "money hungry". We actually had a our 2nd IVF cycle aborted prior to egg collection, as my wife's hormone levels were not ideal, and Dr. Tang didn't want us to gamble around $9000 on treatment that was only a small chance of success. From memory City Fertility didn't charge us at all for the 2nd attempt - even though we had started medicines and had tests done, you wouldn't get that from other businesses these days. My advice to people considering IVF through City Fertility is to book an appointment to see a nurse, and see for yourself how they handle clients, and how they can help you achieve your dream!
Annoymous Xlalal: The fertility do not work on weekends so if you need an egg collection, bad luck! Dr Tang is the worse doctor to ever exist. She is money hungry and will ensure you fail your cycle for as long as you can so she can milk as much money out. I would avoid her at all costs! Worst doctor ever. She doesn't do proper tests.

City Fertility | Sydney CBD | A Global Leader in Fertility and IVF: what do users think?
Qi Qi: High performance team. Nurse is very responsive and well-organised.
Angela Hibbert: A very positive experience with the wonderful team at City Fertility. They are all kind, warm and professional. Communication is timely and the service levels are consistent with everyone I have dealt with. From the moment I entered the clinic, I was greeted with a warm smile by reception and the lovely nurses made me feel at ease and seemed to really care about the emotional and physical experience for both me and my Husband. They made us feel at ease, and every process is efficient and personable. The facilities are gold standard and patient comfort, safety and privacy is their priority. Thank you for taking such good care of us!
Holly Kowhai: An incredible experience at City Fertility Sydney CBD. I had my eggs frozen and everyone from the reception staff, to the phenomenal nurses and Dr Helen Peric were professional, diligent and kind. For what can be a pretty daunting experience I was incredibly well looked after and cared for by the amazing nurses. Dr Helen Peric is a master in her field who I would highly recommend using if looking for such services. Thank you again Team at City Fertility Sydney CBD
Amy C: I am so grateful I chose City Fertility!! Not only is the view incredible but so is the team, all so supportive. Thank you for everything!
Alyssa Dash: I had an amazing experience at City Fertility. The whole clinic team was wonderful and made me feel so supported throughout my entire journey. Cannot recommend the team here enough. No longer just felt like a number unlike at other larger clinics we have tried in the past. ❤️
Siobhan Boyle: I’ve certainly shopped around to find the best clinic for my IVF journey and this isn’t City Fertility. Don’t be fooled by the extravagant building in the city, your care won’t equate to much. With city fertility you’re definitely a number and not an individual. They were only interested in the $, the communication was poor and no consideration for the emotional experience a patient is going through. I raised concerns with them and instead of trying to improve their quality of care they decided to end my fertility journey with them. A terrible experience.
Crystal Greaves: Dr Peric and the team at City Fertility CBD have been warm, supportive, understanding and patient throughout the highs and lows of our journey and we cannot recommend them enough. We started our process at another major IVF clinic only to feel like we had to take a number and wait in line, City Fertility made us feel the complete opposite, their professionalism put us at ease in our first appointment.
annie low: I can't speak highly enough about City Fertility. Having been unhappy with a larger, well known clinic, I made the switch to City Fertility and received an outstanding level of care. The Director, Devora Lieberman, was incredibly attentive and I felt very well listened to and received exceptional, personalised treatment. The entire team of receptionists, nurses and embriologists are caring and professional and the facilities are state of the art. This clinic is simply in a different league! Highly recommend!
Ally: Rude secretary. Would not go to Helen due to this again

IVFAustralia Sydney CBD: what do users think?
Josephine Hartmann: I was incredibly disappointed with IVF Australia. After copious emails, payments and many months, I finally got access to the donor list, only to discover how minimal it was. There should be transparency and the ability to search through the donors before signing up and wasting valuable time and money. I moved straight to another organisation where I was able to check their donor list prior to any appointments and where I do not have to chase them for anything.
Cassy Ciampa: Wonderful experience with IVF Australia. I recommend them to anyone looking to go through IVF.
sundus alsabti: Bad service they care about money not recommended at all
Ty: Stay away from Dr Shannon Kim.She know nothing about Male fertility. Never see me in person only talk to me over the phone and rip me off. The worst of all is Amount of stress she put on me and my wife. Told me she’s my only hope to get my wife pregnantEven though she give me the wrong diagnose.Stay away!!!!
Bren T: Disgraceful service. First consult with Dr Persson and he spent most of the time talking about his own interests and trying to cross sell other services than answering our questions or trying to understand our situation and concerns. He even took personal mobile messages in the middle of discussions and made us wait through long silences. Receptionist was sloppy, made errors with our personal details, messed up and lost a page of our medical records whilst taking a copy then later had the cheek to say it’s only a page with doctors signature when we asked for it to be returned, didn’t explain charges even when we settled the bill and asked if there was anything else. We later received a surprise invoice from a separate pathology lab to be paid. If they’re so slack and can mess up even the simplest things, I wouldn’t trust them with my body or any treatments.
Archer Zhang: On 31 Jan 2019, I made a call for an appointment to the Sydney CBD office. The receptionist whose name is either Chen or Chan that can speak Mandarin answered the phone. She showed little patience, very rude and refused to help make an appointment for me. Instead she asked me to go directly to the office and wait there. When I asked for more information about the process she refused to provide me with more explanation and became aggressive and nearly yelling to me. In the end, she just hang up the phone and left me feeling very bad. I never had such bad experience with any customer facing companies. If you treat your customers as worthless, how could I believe you can provide any quality service? I am completely shocked.
Priscilla and David Bunting: We are very happy with the service and care provided by IVF Australia. Our experience was stress free, staff were really helpful and compassionate throughout the whole experience. Our Doctor Andrew Kan is a highly professional individual who provided us with not only a successful experience but also an enjoyable one due to his great sense of humor. We couldn't have asked for a better team. Thank you.Kind regards,Priscilla and David

Fertility First: what do users think?
Mel Rubio: Extremely disappointed with Fertility First this time around. After 8 months of treatment and expressing concerns about not falling pregnant and being told it was an age factor and that not every embryo is destined to be a baby , i went for a second opinion to Genea and they found that i had an Autoimmune disease which i was told ANA is known to impact pregnancy. When i brought this up to the nursing staff, Dr Chesterman and Dr Clark - everyone washed their hands of it. Dr Clark stating there was no medical evidence to support this, despite genea, my gp, gastrointerologist, rheumatologist and 2 other fertility clinics telling me very different. I used all my embryos bar 1 from my daughters cycle - my best chance at pregnancy gone BECAUSE MY CONCERNS WERENT TAKEN SERIOUSLY! When i asked for some form of compensation as my daughters donor was no longer donating and i wouldnt be able to have a full biological sibling, i was told no and that Dr Clark would be reporting the other health professionals for the information i was given. TRULY Dr Clark , when did your principals change and it became all about the $$$
Jess Giles: 10 embryos, 9 transfers, no results. I have absolutely nothing to show for the last 2 years of IVF. Very disappointed. All scans were rushed, felt like just a number to Dr Clark. Never received any explanation as to why it wasn’t working and this clinic never tried anything different – just kept doing the same treatment over and over. Wasted time, money and energy.Worth noting that I have had a successful IVF pregnancy in 2020 through a different clinic in Brisbane so I know I’m not the problem. The receptionists and nurses were super helpful and polite but at the end of the day that’s not going to give me my baby.
Liz Herne: After being totally broken by ivf aus I went to Dr Anne in total desperation. I wish I had gone to FF first communication was spot on. Always a follow up email or text. When I wanted clarification it wasn’t a call centre it was easy to get hold of the team.I couldn’t of been happier with getting pregnant with my fresh transfer. Such a professional yet caring team. So supportive and understanding.Thank you team FF for my March 2021 baby girl
Viethung Tran: she is very friendly, caring and understanding , for me, she is the best dr I have ever seen. Love her so much
Anh Nguyễn: I would like to say how much i love her
J Smith: Sometimes the staff on the phone were helpful, polite and reassuring. However on some occasions they were not.The advice/feedback was at times abrupt, and sometimes the information was inconsistent between different staff we spoke to. This was not very reassuring. We also had to often call the clinic to seek answers, and many of these occasions the clinic should have called us and given clear information. There were several times when we were made to feel like a number, and it felt terrible. After the process came to a heart-breaking finish and we had no eggs left, we heard nothing from Fertility First. No follow-ups, no feedback, no explanations. Just silence.
Kristin H: Where do we start. This place is beyond amazing. Starting with the reception staff, always so friendly and welcoming and also have a lot of knowledge when asked a question. Then there is the amazing nursing staff, we didn’t come across one that wasn’t kind, helpful and patient with any questions even if asked multiple times or asked to explain again. Last but not least, Dr Anne Clark. Just wow. She is such an amazing, smart and kind person. No matter how difficult things became or when something didn’t go the way we expected, we never lost hope because we knew Dr Clark hadn’t lost hope. IVF is a major emotional roller coaster but being at Fertility First made it feel like a stable ride. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for all your help, encouragement and kindness you have given us along the way to get our little peanut.
Marlene Buckpitt: Dr ANN Clarke was recommended to us after a long journey of failed attempts. It was the best decision we have ever made!! Not only because we finally had SUCCESS but the whole experience with the clinic and the staff were great. Dr Clarke was extremely thorough and always took the time to explain and discuss matters with regards to our treatment. It was really easy to work with dr Clarke and we felt we were always looked after. The nursing staff was very supportive and we felt we were in good hands. It was easy to communicate and work with the laboratory team and the admin and accounts team were professional and efficient. We are forever grateful for everyone at FF Hurstville for assisting us grow as aFamily and making the almost impossible, POSSIBLE.
Tracey Davies: Our journey to become parents was a difficult and long one, met with great heartache but eventually success! We achieved positive results and are blessed with two beautiful children now aged 16 and 10 years old. We would most definitely recommend Dr Anne Clarke and her dedicated team at Fertility First. However challenging for us, they supported us and offered their expertise and guidance.
Nicole Pavett: Our dream of becoming a family came true this July with the birth of our beautiful daughter. We can't thank the team at Fertility First enough for their care and support throughout the whole process. In years gone by I had been to a number of different fertility clinics, and in different States and some of them quite honestly were horrible, and gone through different forms of IVF with no success. After giving up for years and then meeting my partner, we embarked on the IVF journey once again. With limited options in Australia we were looking to travel overseas, when I contacted the clinic they remembered me and advised of new options available to us through Fertility First, it was with relief at having treatment locally, we became pregnant in November 2017 and delivered our beautiful daughter in July 2018. We can't recommend Fertility First highly enough. We are forever grateful for our precious little gift.
Jay: I have been with the clinic now since November 2017, I have always felt welcomed and well looked after by Anne, admin, nurses and other staff. They all do a wonderful job in a high paced environment of women so desperately trying to get their future babies. The clinic definately has a warm (non clinical) vibe about it...with helpful, caring team members.I feel all my questions are answered in a timely manner, or I am pointed in the right direction of who can be of most help. Anne is a busy lady, supporting and helping multiple women trying to make families of their own and sometimes she is not available to talk to on the spot. But she always makes time to call you back to discuss any concerns or answer any questions you have in regards to treatment, cycles or anxietys/worries.I look forward to getting my future miracle with the support of Anne and her FF team.
Jennifer Scott: Coming from another fertility clinic, I needed to know the reasoning "why" things weren't happening for us, and after a long emotional journey, we finally came across Dr Anne who gave us all the answers we were looking for.Dr Anne Clark and the team at Fertility First, were very comforting and understanding throughout our IVF treatment there. For treatment which can be very emotional, invasive, awkward and clinical, we never once felt that way, as the team were caring and accomodating in every way.We are so grateful to them, for both our gorgeous little miracles!
Kath BEGLEY: Everyone at Fertility First has been wonderful through our IVF journey. My partner and I have always felt welcomed and have always received personalised service. We’ve never felt rushed and everyone has always taken the time to help us when we’ve had questions (and we’ve had plenty along the way!).Our journey has been long, with highs and lows, and we have always felt supported and important.Dr Clark is very kind and very gifted. She always stayed positive and gently guided us along our path. The nurses are wonderful and very knowledgeable. They have a calming manner which is great for an anxious patient. The ladies at the front desk always have a smile for you and are a pleasure to deal with. The lab staff are lovely and do an equally great job behind the scenes as the team members who are seen more often.Anne has a fantastic team who all work together to make people’s dreams come true, and they genuinely share your joy when you’re lucky enough to have success.I can’t speak highly enough of Fertility First. I don’t hesitate recommending them to anyone who needs help with their fertility journey.
Katie Raynolds: Everything felt incredibly rushed at this clinic. You take your underwear off while hopping around on one leg in front of the doctor because they don’t give you a gown or anything due to how rushed it all is. For a full cost clinic the service didn’t feel very personalised. I felt like I was rushed in and out to get more money. The nurses and the reception staff were absolutely lovely though.

Westmead Fertility Centre: what do users think?
JARRED: Bradbury is the worst doctor and apart of the worst clinic that claims to be for the avarage person. the biggest time waster. Totally incompetent at treating each patient as an individual and is 10000% there to collect a check and to make the hospital money above all. Good luck y'all. Look for other places, you'll find somewhere that actually cares and tries
Fei Ci: I had been to a Private IVF and the Westmead Fertility Centre. I have to say Westmead Fertility Centre is my preference. That is why I choose Westmead again. They are well organized. The nurses are very nice. The communication is quick and smooth. Wish me luck this time. ✌️
Nicole Nicholson: They are awesome 👌 9 months ago I was blessed with a baby girl❤. Dr Bradbury was so helpful and so were the nurses/staff/ team at westmead fertility centre, they helped me through everything that I needed to know and do. I never knew what my outcome would be nor did I know if this was going to work but it did. Thank use so much, my baby is PERFECT.
Jessica W: I highly recommend Westmead Fertility Clinic. Last year I began my ivf journey and didn’t know what to expect. I personally believe you are given the same treatment and care as you would if you went through a private clinic, you just pay a fraction of the cost. The staff were lovely and the nurses were very thorough and were always happy to answer questions. My Specialist was Dr Ashley Fong who would make adjustments after each failed outcome to make sure I received the right treatment. I was undergoing ivf during Covid and I felt the staff handled the situation very well. I’m forever grateful as after my 3rd transfer I fell pregnant with my baby girl. I highly recommend Westmead for those needing to undergo ivf.
Claire Napper: Severe lack of communication within the team & especially to the patient, treat you just like a number, no follow up, won't do investigations to work out what treatment needs to be done / what needs to be changed for a better outcome / success each cycle, limited ultrasounds & blood work (they do the bare minimum)... you get what you pay for - so not much.
Noreen Khan: Year 2017; The team here with the help of my 2 very dedicated, caring, godly specialists with highly developed intellect helped me conceive at my very first trial only!!!🤩👩‍👦✨🎉 🎊🎈🙌🏻I was being warned and denied the privilege of becoming a Mum due to my condition. BUT despite all the odds I survived. And my miracle baby is a now a healthy gorgeous boy.I was all by myself in this journey but the IVF team and my doctors were my army. They all looked after me throughout this epic challenge I took and today I am a mummy to a beautiful child. The nurse who taught me how to do the hormone injections was very discrete with the instructions and I followed them religiously. Similarly through the entire process I psychologically kept myself calm and collected and took every step with 100% caution no matter how devastated/nervous/scared or hurt I was to take such a big step completely on my own.My doctors believed in me and I believed in them.No amount of thank you or praise will ever justify what the IVF team, my doctors and nurses did for me.Love you and God Bless ❤️🌸🦋❤️🌸🦋🌸🦋🌸🦋🌸🦋🌸🦋🌸🦋.
nancy kapur: Very soft spoken staff and very helpful throughout the process.
Mounia TORCHE: I had a very bad experience with this medical centre . the most clear problem is the lack of communication .They don't do ultrasound at the right moment. They don't care about the feelings and the soufrance of women they care about the payment and consider people as a number not as a human.this fertility centre is the worst ever.I don't recommend westmead fertility medical centre to anyone. Even this star they don't deserve it.
Melinda Carulli: I totally understand about the woman being double vaccinated to complete an IVF round but I don't understand why the man needs to? Especially if they have an exception and still knocked back this is very disheartening and when asked if I can even drop off the sample and my husband to stay in the car still my round was knocked back now turning 43 in 1.5 months I will have to now start all over again and look for a clinic who wont discriminate and except me past 43 years of age. My husband does not even need to attend the clinic and still declined me starting my round I am heart broken to say the least and no explanation just "this is our protocol" very very upset.
Anu George Thomas: The best doctor.. he is Godsend.
Samara hopwood: A little upset with the way this facility is treating and discriminating towards non vaxed clients.I understand when the health order is in place to listen to that advice however continuing to keep a health order in place that has now been lifted from the NSW government is disgusting.Imagine being a woman who's only option is to use westemead fertility centre to have a baby they have longed for to be told no as they are keeping in place a health order that has been lifted, this is so disgusting and heartless to turn away any woman from a vaccine status that is not mandatory.Very disappointing and the receptionist was very heartless with a non caring attitude when asking if it has now been lifted.
Amanda Bennett: At currently 17 weeks pregnant, I can't fault the level and quality of service we received from Westmead Fertility and Dr. ChanFrom day dot all the nurses and staff are caring and helpful. Just 23 weeks and we will get to meet our miracle baby 💙, and on our 1st round of IVF was even more special.
Fatmaelzahraa Hussein: The worst fertility centre ever
Kanchana Amarasekara: I highly recommend the team at WFC. The costs are very affordable. But, their service is excellent. The staff are kind, caring and very organised. My specialist is Dr. Fong and she is also caring, thorough and well organised.
Riya K: The wonderful team that gave me a FAMILY - my new addition - my miracle
Angela Mercieca: We were blessed with our miracle baby boy October 2019. Throughout the IVF process, we couldn’t fault anyone. Dr Ashley Fong was our specialist & she was humble, knowledgeable & caring.
Lanying Zhang: Just found out that I am not pregnant for my recent fresh transfer and may have to start again soon and looks like there is a long way to go. But I can't fault WFC or my fertility specialist. Dr Howard Smith is very lovely, patient and professional. I understand that everyone is different and it may take someone like me more rounds to finally fulfill my dream. But I am very pleased that I am with Dr Smith and WFC. I also spoke to one of the lovely embryologist today as well and he explained things really well. Well done WFC and hopefully everyone bring their happy and healthy baby home soon.
jacqueline stewart: Westmead Fertility Centre has been great. I went through two rounds of IVF with them during 2020 (my first round was through a private clinic) (during covid restrictions) and they did their best with every patient and were fantastic. Their costs are incredibly low in comparison to many private fertility centres and on my last round I fell pregnant so that's super exciting (as I certainly was loosing hope of ever falling pregnant). With the heightened stress and emotions all the patients are suffering through they 110% went above and beyond to make sure I was ok and I am in touch with their Counsellor who is brilliant also as IVF can take a massive toll on your body and mind. Absolutely recommend this place. Thanks again all you beautiful ladies with your kindness and understanding. It makes a world of difference when you have a team of kind and understanding people during such a full on process. They were this and more. Cant be more thankful. The Nurses are such hard workers !
G Youssef: The Disrespect at this center is absolutely outstanding. We made 3 appointments to see a doctor, all 3 times the doctor was called out and we had to wait for over an hour, so we needed to reschedule. They always ask you for flexibility because the doctors are so important but they will not give you any flexibility in meeting with you.The receptionist at this center treat you like second class people.. they do not realize how big a deal it is for people to take this step and contact an IVF specialist and what it means to people. If you question them and why they feel the need to want to charge you for appointments that happen over 2 hours late and when you want to reschedule they hang up in your face and treat you beneath them.I would recommend you never call these people ..... there are so many other options to use!
Donna Rose: I rarely provide reviews but this I felt was necessary.I did my first ivf at WFC. I felt its single priority was receiving payment. Unsympathetic and you’re treated as a number. They dont use ultrasounds, everything is rushed and your left guessing about administration of medication. You get what you pay for. It’s cheap yet not worth the heartache during the most highly emotional journey in life.
A Bee: Superb facility. One of the best around!! Excellent team. Finally, pregnant!!!!!!! Yes!! Yes!! Yes!! Love this clinic! The doctors and nurses are excellent!!! Could not ask for anymore!! Just keep patient and follow the exact instructions given and just keep on keeping on until the end!

Genea Sydney CBD: what do users think?
Jacqueline T: I recently finished a cycle of egg freezing with Genea Horizon Sydney CBD. The level of service and care, from the initial GP consult through to after the day surgery, was exceptional. The entire medical staff including nurses, pathology staff, GP, gynaecologist and anaethetist were all kind, friendly, patient, personable, thorough, caring, and didn't rush me. Importantly, they were obviously extremely competent! They were always transparent about risks and expectations. Nurses either always answered the phone or called back quickly. Every other staff member including Receptionists and Pharmacists were friendly and helpful.Egg freezing is a complex process and I was always informed by phone about changes to treatment. The Genea app was always updated to be consistent with what I was told verbally. Information was well written in plain English and simple language. I find good communication is often missing in healthcare, but Genea has it mastered. The retrieval procedure and my entire experience in the day surgery was completely seamless (and successful), with no complications, minimal pain and kind staff. That afternoon I received a call from the embryologist and a nurse. The following day I received a call from the specialist. A week later, a nurse phoned again to check in.I had multiple risk factors and next-to no support throughout the process, but I felt extremely well cared for by Genea staff. The fees charged were as estimated, and even cheaper than fees cited in the media.I can honestly highly recommend Genea Sydney cbd.
Kate Andy: I went through one round with Genea before moving to another clinic. The whole process was very impersonal. Seems they just churn everyone through there. My doctor didn’t even read my notes before we had a zoom consultation and was incredibly unprofessional. No one advised me I had a low ovarian reserve or what that meant expectation wise and outcome for an egg freezing cycle. I had to request to speak to the doctor when I was mid cycle as again I felt like I didn’t know what was going on. I ended up cancelling and going to Adora. Amazing doctors, same drugs and process (with better communication) and 1/5 of the price. I just can’t fathom how they can mark their services up that much in comparison. The well styled waiting room surely isn’t worth the cost. Please reconsider if you are thinking of going to Genea.
Kelly Knueven: After spending over $20k I requested my medical records because my doctor retired and they are charging me $80 for my medical records. I am shocked they are legally allowed to charge to give me my own medical records!
Arisa K: Saw a fertility GP for reproductive health assessment and ovulation tracking. Nurses are lovely and professional! Very informative at every step.Unfortunately, it was extremely challenging to get hold of our medical records.Multiple phone calls, and emails were made to request them. (Almost to the point of begging). If you are thinking of doing IVF with Genea then it should be no problem. But if you are thinking of seeking a second opinion from another clinic and then be prepared to fight for your medical records.Very disappointing and stressful experience.
Sarah: Lovely, warm and informative nurses, have felt supported every step of the way through the IVF. Beautiful clinic. The app has been so helpful to receive information. Can’t fault my experience to date. Thanks so much!
Helen: I turned to Genea after two failed cycles a bulk IVF somewhere else. At first I found the cost in Genea was a lot higher, but later I felt it worthed the money. Dr Mark Livingstone must be very experience who made me succeeded in my first trial in Genea. During his leave, Dr Phua covered his duty and did the egg collection for me, who was also nice and professional. Now I am 20 week in pregnancy. Everything is going well. Staff in Genea are helpful and friendly. I would recommend Genea to others.
Savannah Sang: Kent Street clinic has great facilities, always clean and tidy.Luck of the draw with daily staff there though. Reception is either really nice or super catty.Nurses are either fantastic with needle work and completely painless or atrocious, hurt and bruise you terribly. Not the best start to your morning when you have to attend the clinic daily.I appreciate that your results are kept secure, but transfer of information between clinics is more difficult than it should be. Unnecessary stress overnight put on yourself waiting for test results because of a digital system which should be automatic. Takes multiple calls and waits on the phone between both clinics to see where your results are. Even reminding the receptionist to “please send the results to Newcastle” is met with a sarcastic response of “well yes other than yesterday it should happen”. 4 times I’ve waited nervously overnight until the middle of the day to find out my results. For the price you pay, it really shouldn’t be this difficult. Do better please Genea.
nicole: My GP recommended me to them and I have done a lot of cycles with them. But based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. Staff appear to be inexperienced they always have to jab me at least twice for my blood test then tell me I don’t drink enough water, I have bruises all over. For the Ultrasound scan, I usually need to rely on my luck and hope I get someone who knows how to effectively do their job, otherwise the scans are hit and miss and then it’s somehow my fault again that the scans are not clear. And don’t get me started on their communication. You are talking to nurses constantly but they have very poor internal communication within the team. First they didn’t update my address and mail with personal information being sent to the wrong place, missed medication orders and error with packing and delivering medication. This time it was my husband’s fault for not checking when he picked it up. So we ended up driving around Sydney to pick the missing medication only to find the pharmacy had no idea and had to convince them the order was legitimate otherwise I couldn’t go through with my surgery. How is this supposed to be acceptable? Are we just another dot on your revenue target graphs? Playing around with people’s hopes and dreams just to make a buck is not okay.
N C: Early 2021: Had a few tests done here, I found them to be very professional and organised. Good rooms, good communication between staff, clearly explained. I lost my results and a year later they emailed them to me again. Much better than an experience I had with Monash IVF a year later. But by others' reviews, appears to be a mixed bag / luck of the draw.
Mariam Badel: Staff are so friendly , and professionals. Building is so clean and good facilities. Great decoration. Service is so fast and will meet your expectations. Highly recommended
Angela S: My treatment at Genea has been absolutely wonderful, even though I had just moved interstate and was renovating a house the entire cycle. The sheer logistical nightmare of off-site monitoring, getting the trigger shot, coming back to Sydney for egg collection was made so much easier through both the Genea app and the fantastic nursing team. This was my first round of IVF, so I don't know what other clinics are like, but the entire team at Genea from reception to the doctors have been just so caring and amazing. Then there's the app to see what you need to do each day, plus being able to see our embryos through Genea Grow. Thank you team!
Hayley Coombes: I reached out to Genea mid-2021 to begin the process of becoming a mother. The fertility specialist that the team recommended to me was awful. He left me in a state of complete and utter distress and terror at thinking I might go into early menopause. Absolutely no follow-up from him or his office. Horrific way to treat a completely healthy 29 year old woman with no history of issues. I do not recommend this clinic - terrible judgement in recommending fertility specialists.
Renée Kazarian: Amazing team at Genea! Very professional, clean workplace and very friendly staff and nurses. I had a great experience with Genea!
Tina Ryan: I am definitely one of the luckier ones, I started my IVF journey with Dr Bowman, who was amazing and explained a lot of old issues to me which was never explained properly to me. I got pregnant on my first round of IVF and I now have an amazing little boy. I have just finished my second round and I am expecting again. I was pretty nervous this time as Dr. Bowman had retired, but I went with Dr Cheryl Phua who took over from Bowman and she is just as amazing as him. Made me feel so at ease, so nice and friendly. I would like to say thank you so much to both of them and also to the whole team, nurses, scientists receptionists everyone, you are all amazing and make this hard journey so much better.
Ana y Edisson Arias-Grassi: Dr Ying Li was absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend him. We recently saw him and he was the type of fertility specialist we wished we had seen at the beginning of our journey. He is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and caring. He gives you up to date evidence to back up his opinions and explains complex issues in a very clear and simple manner. He answered all our questions and made us feel empowered from having that knowledge. His receptionist Patricia is so personable, efficient and prompt to reply. It really makes the whole process so positive.Thank you Patricia and Dr Li for being so proficient at what you do as well having great people skills. In the field of infertility, this is really important as you are dealing with people who are vulnerable. A really valuable asset to have.
Kieran Hazelwood: I have found Genea to be great. Their fertility specialists and staff are very caring and knowledgable. I am one of the lucky ones who had success quite quickly after starting IVF with Genea after years of infertility, multiple miscarriages and PCOS. The other areas of Genea such as the fertility GP and medicated cycles or ovulation tracking are also worth looking into and good areas to start with when having difficulty with falling pregnant.
Mavis Lee: Average experience at best. Six cycles lots of expense and lots of anxiety and no result. Success rate is low for all these treatments .The circle is keep going although the public holiday is coming. Disappointed... Six cycles three to four times is miss ovulation.. May I continue.....
K: Money making factory. I was just a number for them. Don’t waste your money, health and time. Nobody there really cares about people dealing with stresfull issue of infertility. And nobody is interested in helping couples to achieve positive result with minimum ivf attempts. All what they are interested in is you coming to them again and again so that they could get from desperate couples as much revenue as possible. No proper communication. No assistance in making well-informed decisions that would be the best for each individual couple. Despite immaculate facilities i never felt so lonely in my infertility grief and so not looked after as when i entered Genea’s door. Despite the highest ivf cost in Sydney they don’t provide results of pre-ivf and all following blood tests. Probably to prevent people from seeking second opinion. Communication during ultrasounds is poor and very limited. All other communication is with nurses and not directly with doctor. What does not help to build relationship between doctor and patient, and limits the chances to ask important questions to doctor when making important decisions. As a result i regret making two big decisions that appeared to be wrong specifically in my case. But doing ivf for the very first time i couldn’t have known the things and nuances what my doctor knows after many years of work as fertiliy specialist. My doctor made their decisions without explaining much. If first 2 pre-ivf consultations were ok, the further communication was upsetting. Important things were said on the go, quickly and abruptly without much dialogue. I was meant just to read some very basic info provided and to follow what they advised without questioning it. Absolutely zero interest in me and in succesful outcome for our family. Due to ridiculously exagerated covid measures husbands are not allowed to be present during embryo transfer. Although the theatre is spacious enough to accomodate safely 5 people (doctor, nurse, embryologist, female patient and her husband/partner) without compromising safe distance requirements. Even more people could safely be there. Male partners are simply excluded and ignored. What only adds to overall feeling of indifference of that place to the struggles of the couple. And as a chery on the top is their idiotic portal. They refuse to send all important information to the private emails. Instead they upload all forms and communication details with nurses into that portal for which you need separate login - overexagerated security what is very inconvenient for patients. The access to photos and videos of embryos is given for only limited time (if i remember correctly, only for 1 month). 2 failed ivf attempts and lots of regrets selecting Genea. The indifference of that place and its employees to pain and struggles of infertile couples is as upsetting as their price list.
Tina Reynolds: Outstanding staff, streamlined processes, advanced technologies. Each point of contact with the team (reception, scientists, nurses, etc.) was easygoing, and all were respectful and had fantastic "bedside" manner.
Karma King: Average experience at best. Two cycles lots of expense and lots of anxiety and no result. Success rate is low for all these treatments no matter what they say prepare for a long hard journey. Natural treatments including less stress and supplements worked in the end (years later).
Alecia Cadwallader: Money Making place. Although the doctors are lovely and the place is immaculate. You get what you pay for. I think apart from having such an emotional journey communication in finance is horrible. Being called 4 times in a day after lunch when I met with finance in the morning is frustrating and every person who I spoke to had no idea I had been to see finance in the morning. Now let me be clear there had not been a procedure yet so they were chasing me before anything had happened and the problem was I didn’t want to give my credit card details so they could take out money whenever they wanted. I agreed to do bill pay which better for me. And now to make it worse I recently was given a a bill for storage of an embryo that I thought they had destroyed due to having Mosaics in it and was discussed is now still in storage. I am so perplexed and it is so upsetting that communication is their biggest issue there. Along with exorbitant fees. I mean they aren’t helping people. It’s a money making business who are taking advantage of the most vulnerable people who do desperately want a baby. It’s just so honestly cruel. People end up in so much debt let alone additive stress of the baby the financial amount to afford a baby is outrageous. Do your homework before you decide that’s all I am saying.

Adora Fertility Sydney: what do users think?
Lisa Logan: We had an amazing experience with Adora, from our very first appointment to our last we were treated with the the best care! The admin staff always accommodated me for appointments and the nurses were always there for me and I could chat to them whenever I needed! Lisa did the majority of my scans and she is just a fantastic person who lifted up my mood and made me feel so relaxed. I saw two Fertility specialists who were great especially Dr Charley Zheng wow he is an absolute legend his care is beyond amazing and he is so genuine and honest he goes out of his way for you, we had a pretty complex situation and he tried so many different ways to make it happen which it did for us and we are very grateful to have our beautiful baby girl!! Thanks again Adora
Asavata Tum: I feel that the staff are not very attentive. Dr. Atkinson didn't seem to care about my case. I feel like they racist Asian people. My wife finished my blood test and sent an email to notify me. But they ignored it. not interested in follow-up My wife had to follow up and ask several times. But they made mistakes among themselves and blamed my wife. not admitting his own fault I deliberately chose here. but lose feeling The service was terrible.
Simone Galea: Beyond amazing specialists and staff.
payal shah: Thank you so much for wonderful journey, tried many fertility center but the experience at adora was really amazing. Dr Nalini Gayer has really good knowledge and experience and she made our dream come true after losing hope. I am 100% satisfied. Everything went on smooth and got a positive pregnancy test in first go. Can’t just wait for our baby to arrive. Thank you so much again.
Melissa Tweedie: I recently completed my first egg freezing cycle with Adora and could not have asked for more compassionate, thorough, professional, comprehensive and exceptional care. Thank you so much to Dr Nalini Gayer, Dr Lenehan, all of the nursing team especially Carolyn G and Olivia, the admin staff, the pathology team and the sonography team. Your expertise, kindness, patience and support made a difficult experience so much easier to navigate. I am so glad I chose to froze my eggs and so glad I did this with Adora. I would not hesitate to recommend Adora to anyone looking for excellent and accessible fertility care.
Ella Park: Single text message of failure. No explanation until you complain. Have not heard from Dr since failure. You do not want to spend your heart and money on them. Just after your money
Indiwary Wijayasinghe: I have very positive experience with adora. Thanks to Dr nalini gyer and her team our dream became true. I used to communicate with them via email and they got back to me within few minutes. Service is excellent. Dr Nalini Gayer's knowledge and experience is outstanding. I'm 💯 satisfied. I got very late for my transfer due to a major accident in sydney. Eventhough i was late more than 2 hours Dr paul Atkinson waited for me. I was very panic and sad that day. They all were very kind to me and comfort me. I had a positive pregnancy that cycle and holding my baby with me now. Thank you adora for helping us to have a beautiful baby!
J: We successfully had 3 kids with Adora. The First one is second try success; the Second one is second try success; and the Third one is first try success. From result we think it’s very good one, and we strongly recommend Dr Janelle McDonald, she is alway patiently to explain things to us.I saw the review below, people who gives low mark some to complain about reception, some complain consultation waiting too long, some not get success pregnant so put complain to the Doctor….I think they focus on the wrong things.People who works in reception have attitude could be anywhere, any clinic; this can’t be the true review of Adora; And for the people who waiting for longer consultation hour, oh well, again it could happen in any clinic, loads people go thought the same thing. I guess you just need to calm down and be patient. The shorter temper you have, the longer you could be waiting for a successful result to have baby….Last, the Doctor can only help you go through the procedure, but they can’t help you to fall pregnant, they are Doctor not magician. The patient is only one to make things happen.Individual condition is different, it could be any reason. Some easily fall pregnant from first attempt; some could be many times. It’s different body of course have different result, no one to blame on. Therefore, to be fair, I don’t think it’s doctor’s problem.Personally we think Adora is strongly recommended, as it makes my dream came true, not once, not twice but 3 times, we are very happy.
soomin: Went to have scanning and blood test at Adora Surry hills on Monday 19 December in the morning. The receptionist just asked my name and asked me to sit and wait. She was rude and doesn’t care at all. I got the scanning done first and told me to wait for the blood test. I waited for blood test more than 20 minutes sitting on a chair but couple of patients who came after me finished their scanning and blood tests and left so I asked when is my blood test happening then she asked me to press the bell on the desk. I have been here many times for the test but I never pressed the bell for the blood test and also the patients came after me on the day. I love Adora’s service but the receptionist is not as good as Adora’s service.
Maura Desmond: Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of the amazing people that work at Adora Fertility, the pathology ladies, admin staff, radiographers, nurses, embryologists, those that work behind the scenes & of course the specialists! Everyone is so professional, knowledgeable, caring & kind!!!!!! I have been with Adora for a while & have had ‘no luck’ as yet however that has nothing to do with the amazing, high quality service that Adora provides!! I’m a senior nurse working elsewhere & I have done my research & feel so blessed & fortunate to have found Adora Fertility! For us it makes a massive difference not having to deal with the financial stress & strain of going with a ‘private’ which as far as I can see there is no real difference! We choose relaxing nice holidays with the money we save :) How these private clinics can look one in the eye & charge so much I’ll never now! ❤️❤️❤️ Adora you will never know how much we adore you ❤️❤️❤️
A: Excellent service from Dr. Nalini. Professional advice that achieves your dream results. Thank you so much Dr. Nalini and the team for everything. Cheers
Rachael Hickey: It pains me to write this as I haven’t been with any other fertility doctors, but Dr Atkinson never ever spoke to me about anything I had endometriosis which I had to find out myself, and when speaking to him each time, I would have a two minute conversation, he showed no compassion when needed. Never got told what was wrong. The nurses were lovely, but still didn’t help in anyway and reception is so bad you could sit on hold for hours trying to get through to make an appointment it does dishearten me to write all this, but I have to say my experience I’ve been with them for a year and I feel the worst Is that Dr Atkinson thought of me as a peasant then a patient my heart breaks😭😭😭😭
Chris Bogdan: My wife and I had initially made contact with the clinic late September 22. We have already had multiple tests, scans & results made available to us during this time.We then called through to ask for the reception email where we could email the documents too so we can essentially kick start the process & bypass the initial consult. So we emailed all the reports and documents on the 18th of October. I then emailed last week Tuesday 25th to follow up my initial email & to no surprise have not received a reply or call to acknowledge us.It’s hard enough for people to go through this very emotional process.I feel a call or at least acknowledgement of a new patient would be the least they could offer someone…won’t be recommending or using Adora Fertility.
LJ_the Lightning: We went through our first cycle with not knowing what to expect. Dr Atkinson was fantastic and he was the right fit for us. I had 6 eggs collected and one survived only which was fertilised and made it to day 5. My first pregnancy test was positive 5 days after embryo transfer. We had our First ultrasound and everything was perfect with baby. Then 4 weeks later I had a few scary signs of miscarriage so we had our second ultrasound only to find out we were having identical twins.7 months later I am holding my twin boys in my arms and we are home from the hospital 💜 thank you Adora and Dr Atkinson for our amazing babies x
Helen: Failed after two trials in Adora, then turned to another IVF facility where we succeeded on the first trial. My experience is Adora is really cheap compared to to other IVF ferfilities. However, doctor experience and lab condition may be not the best. I'd like to encourage anyone who didn't make it in Adora. Don't doubt yourself or give up, shop around and you will make it!
Josie Parrish: So happy with our experience at Adora. With the help of Dr Zheng we were successful on our first transfer. Last month we had our beautiful little boy. Thanks so much to Adora fertility
Sunmbal Ali: This clinic has literally changed my life. After not being able to have kids for years, I turned to this clinic desperately for help. All the nurses I’ve interacted with, especially Celeste and Carolyn, have been so nice. My Doctor, Charley Zheng is friendly, approachable and most of all really good at his job. After I had completed all the relevant tests and scans, we jumped straight into IVF. I was so happy that I didn’t have to wait months and months. I was so nervous about the embryo transfer procedure but Dr Zheng’s skills made it super quick and easy. A week later, I found out I was pregnant! Overall, I can’t say enough positive things about this clinic. Plus the fact they are mostly bulkbilled has really made the miracle of having children a reality for so many, that otherwise could not of been possible. I will be grateful to this clinic and the staff for the rest of my life.
alara ozkan: I am so glad to find Adora. It was recommended by my friend. We both were really happy and l will recommend to others. Doctors and nurses are amazing. When l need to ask questions, l was just emailing to nursing team and they were answering maximum in five minutes. They are caring and following every steps carefully. Always, supported me when l needed. Only the problem is with administration team. They don't answer the phone most of the time or forget to send important papers etc.Besides administration team, everything was perfect. Thanks for Dr Nalini Gayer( she is the best) Dr Sarah Cavanagh and all nurses🌻
Lisa L: Our daughter was born in 2019 with help of Dr Gayer and Adora team, everything when smoothly the 1st cycle. Fast forward to this year 2022, as I am older, it took us a little longer, but with Dr Gayer's health plan and guidance we are very happy we are also successful this time around too.Our family can't thank the Adora team enough, they have made the process easy and with Medicare rebate, it takes the financial stress awayHighly recommend Adora
Stephen Beran: We have two wonderful children thanks to the Adora team. They have always been wonderful and supportive to us in our journey to become parents. I highly recommend them and we can't thank them enough.
Zara Carr: Highly recommended Adora. After 5 years of trying to convince naturally and endless doctor appointments, my husband and I are expecting our first baby together early in 2023. We started our journey during the height of the pandemic and couldn't fault the amazing communication and medical support we received during such a challenging time. I wish we took the step sooner!

IVFAustralia Westmead: what do users think?
James Hutcheon: I would give 0 stars if possible. Why book an appointment at 8am and then not be seen until 9am!!?Why have appointments!?Ok here is some maths! If it takes 15 mins to see a person and you are open from 7 to 12 but have 8 nurses with 75 appointments you should be able to see 240 people a day. Double the time it and you are still able to 120 people! The excuse today was we had 20 people all with appointment come between 7 to 8 am. Ok then with 8 nurses and an avg. time of 20 mins you should have been on time!!!!!! Not a whole hour late!!!!People have jobs! The utter lack of intelligence in this clinic is surprising considering how educated you would need to be to work here! The receptionist was rude to my wife went we were politely asking how much longer it would be and all we could get is “it won’t be long now”!Please fix this!!!!!!
Cecil Jeremiah: My partner and I have been to this clinic twice and both times, we have been made to wait for a fair amount of time. The process of assisted pregnancies is taxing anyways and it’s difficult to land appointments with the specialists.. And once you have got an appointment and navigated the rest of your life and work to make it to the appointment, you don’t expect to be made to wait this long. The least one can do is to call proactively and inform your patients that the specialist is running late.. And if these delays are a regular pattern then you obviously need more time between appointments. It’s as simple.. Please don’t waste people’s time..
Lili Zhang: Thanks for the efforts and dedication of the doctors, nurses and support team. We are very grateful ❤️
Supendar Thapa magar: One of the worst facility you can ever go….very much money oriented ….worst reception people ever…..dammmm rude….esp that lady with glasses….2 ivf cycles…both failed ….and doctors cant explain reason behind it….just money oriented….$27k down the drain…..never give any reports of treatments and cycles and if you ask them to give you any report they gona charge you 35$ for that….isnt that rip off…..
rainbow fabian: Sorry for my late review, I thought I already leave a review a few years ago.I just want to thanks IVF Australia westmead’s staff. They are all lovely and helpful. Specially thank you to Proff Illingworth, he helped us achieved our long time dream to become parents. We had bad experience in another clinics before, pretty much they gave up on us. I remember when Prof Illingworth said “You will be parents”. Here we are planning our toddler’s 2nd birthday. We also have another twin son, sadly he passed due to chronic lung disease when he was 4 months old.My husband and I are both happy with IVF Australia and the team. We're going to have another cycle soon with Prof Illingworth, were so excited as they all treat us as a family.More power IVF Australia amd the team.God bless you all.
Tania Boyd: I am wondering if some of the bad reviews are actually for westmead fertility clinic attached to the hospital. They are bad. However IVF Australia is better. Thillee was nothing but nice. We have our two children. Other than the costs and awaiting phone calls from nurses to see if your pregnant or not....which is nerve wracking. This clinic is good. I think people should state which clinic it is before reviewing as per similar names! Maybe confusion?? This clinic is not attached to the public hospital. The bad one is.
Jenny Kim: Went there for embryo transfer, the receptionists were so helpful and provided quick service! Good experience and also my FS is so amazing!
Chen Gui: Had to go there because Greenwich clinic is under renovation, VERY RUDE receptionist, zero manner. Highly suggest replace the receptionist
Kelly: I was referred to Prof Peter Illingworth by a friend who had a positive experience many years ago. I have since met with him a number of times over the years and had fertility testing before making the decision to proceed with IVF. I am now 4 months pregnant after my first round of IVF. It is quite a journey and I'm very glad that I had Prof Illingworth and his team of nurses at Westmead to guide me through this process and take the very best care of me. Thanks to Prof Illingworth and his team I also have a number of high quality embryo's in storage, all from one round of IVF. The approach was very much tailored to how my body responded to the IVF medication. While I found IVF to be quite a brutal process, requiring a lot of monitoring it was all worth it when I heard my baby's heart beat for the first time at my seven week scan. I'm very grateful that the patient centered approach of Prof Illingworth's led to great success for me personally and I can't thank IVF Australia enough.
Indira Mishra: It was my first IVF experience in Australia and also the worst. It was my bad luck that I ended up with Dr. Thilee Sivananthan. He is a real disappointment. He made us wait months for an appointment after the first consultation meeting (and this was pre-COVID,). And he only got around to giving us his time because we lodged a complaint with IVF Australia. Even with an appointment, he'd make us wait sometimes close to an hour at the clinic before meeting with us. If you're taking time from work for an appointment with him, you might as well take the whole afternoon off. He is quite soft-spoken and diplomatic, I'll give him that. But when it comes to instilling confidence in the patient, he is sorely lacking because he neither explains the situation clearly nor details the subject matter - I'm not sure if he thinks we are just idiots who won't understand what he says or he just doesn't know his stuff. He seems to have a good bedside manner when consulting him for the first time, but he has no follow through and doesn't respect patient's time or need for information to make the right decision. Either way, he doesn't build trust with patients who just want clarity at the very least. After we made a complaint with IVF Australia via email about his unavailability, we were allocated a nurse who was more of a coordinator and thankfully she was nice. But even then, every time we were at a certain stage of the IVF process, she would refer us back to Dr. Thilee saying he would give us a call to explain the situation and discuss next steps. And he was always "too busy" to call and never kept even the phone appointments. The few times he did call back, it was around 8 to 9 pm. Either way, I wish we had just chosen a different doctor right from the start. We wouldn't have wasted so much time. I have heard good things about other doctors at IVF Australia and have no complaints with the specialists at Greenwich who performed the procedure for me. All I can say is, if you're thinking who to go with, please steer clear of Dr. Thilee if you want a decent IVF experience.I'm giving 2 stars for the IVF Australia Westmead facility only because the nurses and technicians are doing their job well.
Chelsea: We can not recommend Dr Fong and the team at IVF Australia Westmead more highly. We were so impressed with the level of care offered to us by Dr Fong who was so thorough in considering all possible explanations for our infertility and referred us for the necessary testing. Dr Fong explained all our options and provided the necessary information. We were not left with questions unanswered or wondering where we stood. Thank-you Dr Fong!We are so grateful for the team at IVF Australia. We felt so supported through every single step of the IVF process. We were so impressed with the communication and when we had questions, they were answered so clearly. We really did feel like everyone genuinely cared for our treatment whether it was from our initial nurse consult, ease of egg collection and getting the phone calls about blood test and ultrasound sound results and embryo updates. We began IVF not knowing what to expect, however our experience and care exceeded any expectations we could have had.The current climate is an uncertain and trying time for everyone, but particularly on our health system and medical professionals. We can not fault the care from the team at IVF Australia who provided the most professional, compassionate and friendly care to both my husband and I during our IVF journey. Thank-you!
Belinz: IVF Australia is the best IVF clinic you could ever encounter, I have gone to 4 different clinic since 2015 and by far IVF Australia are so professional, my specialist is Professor Illingworth and I truly believe you can not get a better specialist. He is honest, open and doesn’t beat around the bush. I love his passion, his information, support, care and sympathetic nature. Entering any journey is emotional and frightening but with Professor it’s effortless as you walk into the journey with all the necessary information equiped to know exactly where your going, what the outcome could be and how you should feel, nothing is left out and that’s important. I personally do not want a specialist to say your going to fall pregnant or don’t worry it will happen next time, I want plain straight out, they may not work because of xyz are you sure you want to continue or your chances are xy%. Honesty!!! Professor is a beautiful soul, I adore and trust him. His PA Tamanna is caring, loving and supportive, she looks after Professors patients and she is very personable, remembers your name, recognises your voice it’s great to have such a great team behind him not to mention Kelly & Gail the nurses, best nurses I have dealt with. I have been to Genes, Monash IVF, Westmead Fertility and Primary Fertility, they were all pathetic, treated you like you are a number not a person, rude staff and had no idea what they were doing. they gave me such anxiety & depression it’s no wonder I never fell pregnant, I’m 44 now and facing scientific facts that I may never be able to be a mum all because I wasted my time at the other 4 clinics. Do your self a favour and book your appointment with Professor Illingworth and don’t stop your journey with IVF Australia, I just wished I started with them first. It’s never too late and I know Professor will make this happen for me, I will be a mum because I have a devoted team behind me whom I have faith in.
Spencer: Even one star score is too high this hospital.I receive wrong tax invoice email extra $10,000 that I already paid. And I tried called them many times nobody answer and nobody knows who is in charge with this issue. when I found the officer 1 day she is lunch time ~1day her off ~to fixed this issue I spent almost one week no respond email phone call at all Finally I can reach her contactWhen she found that it was wrong she just said that they didn’t put your payment record without any apologyAnd also she found another extra charge $800 that time she apologised and resent new invoice. This is just beginning. I met my specialist through the zoom I asked him to arrange transfer embryos what I have to do he said that I will ask my staff to prepare your schedule When I just finished my period I waited for their phone call or email. But there is nothing happened.Again I had to try called receptionist they transfer the secretary she never answered only machine. Finally when I can hear her voice “it is nurse job I will transfer you” New start point because nurse is also busy they said she will called back you. Of course there is no call back when I heard her voice she said you need make a booking to transfer embryos. Are you serious? How come your hospital staff and doctor didn’t explain anything to patient. When you need money you contact us with highest speed. When we need your answer or advice nobody is there.Last present from Westmead Ivf hospital arrived to me. I had fibroid issues so I did ultrasound 8 of July my result that Dr. should’ve examined it before he transfer embryos was not his hand. 4 of August we saw doctor again through the face call he had only 2years ago record when I asked him “did you check my ultrasound results of 8 of July . He said “No” I will chase your result. 18 of August until my husband visited medscan Dr. didn’t have my result and Medscan said that they have already sent to hospital long time ago. They resent it again and gave my husband copy of result 18 of August I was preparing blood test to get my embryos 19 of AugustBut my ultrasound results show me that I can’t do IVF now This is “Westmead Ivf hospital “ waited 1hour or more to see the doctor 10 minutes is nothing. Let us put up with their unprofessional working and rude manners are generous. At the end the last gift of torture for patient is dusty with payment calling This is my long journey with “Westmead Ivf hospital” Do you still want to go with Westmead IVF? They are ready to destroy your having baby dream with charging payment.
A D: Once my wife and i had decided that we wanted to try the IVF path we started searching for a infertility specialist and clinic..Our online search brought us to both Dr Ashley Fong and IVF Australia Westmead.. We are extremely happy with both choices..The clinic is very professional.. It is very convenient that it has has both free undercover parking and that Dr Fong's office is located within the same building.. The nurses we dealt with were also wonderful..We felt well looked after, as Dr Fong took time out in her annual leave to schedule our calendar as our fertility window fell in this period..Dr Fong was very honest with our chances, but she was confident in her belief that she could get us pregnant..And on our second transfer that's exactly what happened..We were warmly surprised when we unexpectedly received a follow up call to check up on us after our 20 week morphology scan..Ashley Fong is very knowledgeable and experienced as a Dr, but more importantly caring and warm as a person..We are currently 5 months pregnant 🤞
Feyr H: This was our experience. When we called to make a booking for an initial consultation, it took 6 weeks to wait for that day to arrive. We had originally booked for Castle Hill, but IVF Australia changed our appointment to Westmead last minute, a mild inconvenience. Our 10:30 consultation didn't start until 12:00, and the doctor prescribed us letrozole and progesterone. Our doctor, Dr Seema Mohiuddin said she prescribed every patient that medication (which I later thought was negligence). Both our blood samples were taken that day. Our Semen sample was taken about a week and half later, as that was the earliest, we could get an appointment. My wife did the ovulation blood test also that month. We were advised to get a fallopian tube test at the beginning of my wife’s next cycle. When we called up to book that test, the phone lady transferred us to another line. That lady gave us a phone number to ring for the doctor’s room. It was a dead number. We found another phone number on some of our paperwork. The person on the phone could not find our customer file and there was no record of the initial consultation. We were unable to book the fallopian tube test because no one at IVF Australia could take our booking or direct us to the suitable area. We waited 6 weeks from our initial consultation, and no one had contacted us to provide us our results from our blood and semen tests. We decided to contact IVF Australia (we had to make the contact) to get our results. We had to book in a phone appointment for a date 2 weeks later as the doctor was too busy to do face to face and refused to do so. 2 weeks later, the receptionist, not the doctor calls me, without the presence of my wife. She tells me the results are fine. I ask for copies of the reports and she tells me she is unable to send that, only the doctor can send it. I ask for the doctor to send the reports. She tells me it will be sent within 24 hours. 2 days passes, nothing. I call back and she said the doctor was too busy to send the report. I ask again, the same thing happens. Fed up, I lodge a complaint requesting a full refund. The manager calls me and advises that there are no results for our blood and semen samples, despite them being recorded as sent off on the day we were tested. Therefore, they lost them. He confirms that as there were no results, the receptionist had lied saying they were fine, also why she was unable to send them, as they did not exist. Can you imagine if we continued living thinking our results were fine when maybe they weren’t? The receptionist was fired as a result. Even the process of booking in the fallopian tube test should not have been that hard. We were provided a full refund. When we went to a different fertility provider, the doctor said that you shouldn’t be automatically be provided prescriptions that the doctor gave us. They should’ve tested us first before recommending an appropriate course of action, and as my wife was still taking it, we could not commence testing with our new provider until my wife could complete a drug free cycle. At the end of it, we wasted precious months of waiting, and we genuinely felt IVF Australia - Westmead did not care at all about us. I truly would NOT recommend them for anyone. We were screwed over from start to finish, in the words of the manager. We basically just felt like another number to them, rather then a patient.
Donna Ward: Cannot recommend Professor Illingworth enough! Amazing and kind, and we have him to thank for our beautiful rainbow baby. The staff there were always friendly and one of the nurses ended up actually moving to the women's Ward in Westmead and ended up looking after me when we gave birth to our son and remembered us. We are trying to baby #2 soon and will definitely only go with them
NIKITA MEHTA: I wish there was an option to give a ZERO. These guys made me wait for 2 PM appointment and then at 3:15 PM I again checked and got a reply that doctor is busy. Why take appointment when I have to wait endlessly. On top of that the asian lady in the reception gave a look full of attitude when I asked her to cancel my appointment, it was like as if she cares. I wasted my time as I came in my office hours ,parking fee and a good mood. This is the attitude when I'm going to pay for the services. There were pens for filling up a form and there was no separate pen holder for used pens so imagine the hygiene. The lady sitting wearing PPE kit outside the clinic doing covid checks was fabulous and sweet. God bless such people.
Khalid Alasmari: The staff very serious, especially with the old asian woman who doing blood test. She has not a professional way withclients!! she is like who gives orders!! we could not ask her more about the test and results. Also, No smile and No structure!!when we visited this clinic me and my wife were happy becuase we check on our new baby, however, we got out with disappointment :(, thank you.Anyway, we will never come back, and I put two stars because just the staff member ,who is doing covid19 test with clients before getting in, was so Friendly.
G Q: There is a lot of structural and admin decisions made here that doesn't give me confidence in their service. Making appointments but not sending any sort of confirmation or notification. They also overbook the bloodtests and even told me when you arrive it doesn't matter if you booked, someone who happened to walk in before you even without a booking will just be marked as next on the list. Quite dissapointed with something we are paying so much for. And friendlier receptionists would be nice. The doctor and nurses we got are good though.
余露丹: done one cycle of IUI and IVF at the clinic. didn't have good experience. my fs seem too busy to explain everything. On IUI cycle, I informed my FS I only have one tubal which is my left side, and they done the overlation monitor, find the ovulation was on my right side that cycle. and I never can get clear answer from my FS if I still need to continue the IUI cycle or wait for next. they don't even tell me the truth or give me option. and that IUI cycle just a waste! but be honest the nurse are nice and friendly.
YP WR: After a fail round in the public system, we were immediately impressed at the care, professionalism of IVF Australia. They made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout the cycle. Their advanced technology ensure we had the best chance of success. Dr Ashely Fong's nurses were always caring and always called me in time after each test. I especially want to thank Prof. Illingworth who performed my egg collection, he was knowledgable, caring and gentle. Thanks again IVF Australia:)
