Maggio's Italian Bakery & Pasticceria: what do users think?
Mason T: Very busy place on the weekend. Great service, got a toasted sandwich, Santa Maria, very nice. Dog friendly, would recommend giving them a go.
Mariel: Caramelised fig and ricotta danish could be the best danish in Sydney 3
Catherine Porquier: Delicious tiramisu cake, breads and pastries.
Stuart Percival: The service is second to none, the staff are great. Pizza like you get in Rome. I wish this place wa my local
keke ow: I ordered the almond croissant which was divine, freshly baked and very generously filled with a sweet, smooth almond frangipane. The almonds on top were crunchy and the croissant itself was buttery and crispy. A very reasonable price for a delicious almond croissant at $6 when you can easily pay $9 for croissants now days. Also the samba caramel cake was next level, super smooth and the caramel was some of the best i’ve ever had.
Steven Yu: Absolutely LOVE everything from this bakery, especially the croissant, I dare to say it is the best in Sydney.Besides that, primavera and tiramisu are just devine.
Tony Mitchell: Lovely cakes and great coffee plus nice staff .
Carchee Cheung: Love the bakery, food, and service.Coffee is also niceGreat job team
George Gelbuilding: Best sweets in town
R P: Average at best. The fact that this has a 4.8 rating tells you the masses have no idea
Simone Belli: Bought a loaf of bread for $8. The bread was stale, probably from yesterday. Very disappointed by these fellow Italians.
Penny Hamilton: Excellent in every way
Gregory Grundy: Good pies
Andre Dean Smith: Cheap and great quality pastries and coffee
G Calvert: Went there to get cakes / bread etc for takeaway and was charged 15% public holiday surcharge!!Iv never experienced having to pay a public holiday surcharge for takeaway ever before. I think this is very unfair.Supermarkets ,service stations, bakeries , 7/11s , takeaway restaurants do not charge public holiday surcharges. I’m a regular customer and my family will think twice about coming back…..,
Kate Lansdowne: Love love LOVE this place! Coffee and bread is always amazing. Great selection of cakes and pastries. The spinach and ricotta sausage roll is also amazing!
Chris Barton: The most genuine and personable business owners that champion beautiful food, great coffee and service always with a smile. They always have super friendly staff and great quality fresh food.
S Rose: Good coffee and pastries
Jennifer S: Most things are yummy here. Not the best ....but pretty good. Stand outs are the pear and raspberry tart...the pistaccio cake (white one) is also v yum. All the cakes are pretty good value. The croissants are ok....the pizza is ok....Maybe don't get the cannoli though....the other day, mine was not crispy at all....wondered if they were freshly made....
Graham Hyland: Always friendly professional and consistently fantastic.A hugely valuable pillar of our community.Andrew was so helpful today in organising a last minute birthday cake. Thanks Maggio’s!
Brendan Cullen: Ordered cakes , some where poor qualityOwner was rude , wouldn’t recommend them to deal with.

Mezzapica Cakes: what do users think?
Dave: This place has amazing cakes and pastries
Andy Del Riccio: I must wear a garbage cake magnet. No matter where, I get burnt, stale, dry, or appalling decorating.Ordered a birthday cake a week prior to pick up. It took more than 10 minutes to bring out, leading me to suspect it had not been prepared. OK, fresh. The cake itself was acceptable. The writing ordered was a disgrace. Your server knew it. I knew it. And they were prepared to just send it out. I commented it was like a school kids scribble. If I had the time, I would have insisted on it being redone.Plus, I think I offended all the kids at my school, as they can decorate much better! Lucky I had extra booze one hand and my significant other didn't notice how poorly it was decorated.Well done on losing another customer.
Stephen Taylor: Best place to go for breakfast on your way back from the Sydney cbd
Maria: Baptism cake was fantastic in taste and flavour. Mezzapica are always our go to for Italian cakes and pastries, particularly my favourite - the rum baba.
Nick Angelucci (BBQAroma): Since 1952, it is THE go to Italian cake shop that has set the standard in "Dolce"! You can't beat their Canolli, cream filled centre in crunchy cone absolutely addictive. You can snack on a desert with coffee outside or take home an assortment. The range includes some classic cakes which are authentic, with some fantastic choices on offer. Certainly a desert lovers, foodies paradise. It ain't glitz and glamour, but homely and old school retro Italian in style. You know they do it right because they have generations of patrions coming to this place picking up for all occasions.
Ann: Very disappointed with the 21st cake ordered for my daughter. Firstly for the prize we paid, I was expecting more. The cake was a nude cake with flowers on-top for 285.00, no other decorations and I was reasured the cake would be amazing. The cake was DRYand TASTELESS and our guests also confirmed it was.
Jason Chang: Good coffee!
A. A: Not nice coffee tastes bad. Business hours on weekends are short, the cake shop close at 1pm!
Raymond Hekeik: Prof Barnett is excellent and caring MeteredParking generally available
Adrian J: Loved the ricotta cannoli, thank you
J Morgan: Blonde woman is rude, burnt food.
Frank Leo: I am about to eat one of these delicious Mezzepica cakes. I am already salivating. I have been enjoying these for over 10 years and they still send me wild with desire. While your there, don’t forget to grab some cannoli as well.
Paul Anthony: Bacon and egg roll was deliciousThe barista guy needs to chill out, some people don't go well at being yelled at,maybe had a late night? but customers are what the business make runPlease note this is not the cake shop that is situated next door, this is the coffee shop on the cornerI apologise to the cake shop
Sarah Grech: The rudest waitress I have met in a long time. First and last time coming here.
Mersini Ana: Cakes are OK, but do NOT go for the coffee! Tasted like acid, and I waited 10 mins for it!Please, stop making coffee; it is repulsive.
John Sawyer: Thank you to the staff at mezzapica cakes for making my daughters 30th birthday cake late notice, the cake was beautiful and delicious everyone had amazing things to say about the cake, really appreciate your hard work and will definitely be back.Rocky
Antonio Gelonesi: Unfortunately every cake , every cannoli and every sweet thing is outstanding , beware ! I’m sure they are all keyto friendly !! Eat with confidence and enjoyment
Loraine: We ordered tiramisu and although the service and delivery was great the cake although cooked beautifully lacked the taste of tiramisu ie coffee and liqueur I can not recommend this cake
Christle: Ricotta cannoli and chicken filo pastry was mind blowing. Ricotta cheesecake was disappointing.
Lolitalolipops: While the cannoli itself is great and my family have been getting pastries and cakes from this shop forever the lady is sooooo rude and unfriendly makes you not want to bother. Regards ,Anna ortado
Frank Badolato (Frankie): Mezzapica really beautiful cakes the best in the city, I don't think anyone could complain about anything truly the best cakes I believe in Sydney

Pasticceria Tamborrino: what do users think?
ally: the products themselves were okay tasting, however the service wasnt awesome. I had ordered a birthday cake a day before - and when we arrived it turned out the cake hadn’t been made fresh or even written down, and was taken out of the fridge literally last minute. other than that was pretty okay
Roberto Gentile: I ordered cake for birthday. Good service and delicious cake.Amazing 👏Thanks again
Mary: Only because a pasticcera that closes on Sunday's can't be right..Update: thanks for updating the opening and closing hours
freddy ferreira: Amazing !!! Great pastries. Puff creams to die for!!!!
Kevin Sweeney: Beautiful assortment of cakes snd other delicious items
Giovanna Locoratolo: Made from the heart, thank you for making birthday celebrations memorable, love love love your pastries and cakes! One of a kind♥️
Antonello Nistoro: Sweets are at the top of the game and do not make me miss Italy!Need to improve on coffees, they often have a burnt aftertaste.
Rasha Ismail: The best jam donuts in Sydney…and maybe the world. Always delicious, always fresh. Thank you 🙏🏾
Romi Ale: Amazing product, always consistent x
Shaelene Hooper: Delicious Italian sweets and great coffee
David Jepsen: Always friendly service and cakes are out of this world and a good price point. Never disappoints
Ethan: This year's Christmas cake is @pasticceria_tamborrino ‘s chocolate profiterole tower.🎄✨ #2022 #RPEY🇮🇹🇹🇼 #MerryChristmas #Xmas 💫 #Croquembouche ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 #loveislove🌈 ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 instagram @yijen717
Marc - Marco - Tribbia: Delicious Delicious Delicious!!!!Best Pasticceria in Australia...bar none!
Cristina Theodossiou: Best in Sydney
Andria: We had three birthday boys to celebrate and everyone loved the cakes from Tamborrino. Thank you team, your cakes were perfection.
Alama: Amazing variety of delicious sweets - love the Crème Brûlée and macarons!
A Kar: I used to come here a lot, as the pastries are quite tasty. But similar to comments from others, I was really put off by the service. You just feel like they would rather not deal with customers sometimes. I don't think it's all staff. It might also be because I don't speak Italian? The last visit I had was to buy a birthday cake, I had a very arrogant/rude lady serve me. It's like she felt it was an absolute chore to explain the different cakes available. But I noticed she was much, MUCH friendlier with an earlier customer who was speaking to her in Italian. I'll just take my business to your competitors, thanks.
Emanuele Sindoni: The Best coffee in Sydney!!!!Excellent service!!!
Carlos del Cerro: The best Pasticceria in town!!! Second to none!!! Taste, class and service!!Every time we go to the shop is like travelling to out of this world in flavour and taste!!¡ Flawless!!!
Tom Booth: Made the best gluten free cake I’ve ever tasted for my partner who is celiac. Just beautiful cakes and pastries.
Joanna: Wow the profiterole cake exceeded my expectations!! The cream filling they use almost felt like vanilla icecream, it's different to the cream they use to decorate the outside. It's covered in sticky chocolate ganache and filled in with even MORE cream! Good price too. Also tried the lobster tail, it was crunchy and had a delicious Nutella filling. I think I'll stop going to Papa's now!!

Dolcettini Patisserie: what do users think?
Karolina Sypniewska-Wida: ABSOLUTELY loving this place. So difficult to find delicious bread in Sydney and being a European it is quite important for me. My Family loves pumpkin and spelt sourdough plus all the pastries. Thank you NELI & BEN for your professionalism and amazing customer service. The team is fantastic and you should definitely try Dolcettini out either in Dural or Castle hill towers. Great team at both locations. Warm regards to Samona for her smile and great coffee.
Sadhana Mishra: Tried the Black Forest cake, it was delicious, very fresh and yummy.I would highly recommend.
Hubert Dao: Delicious pastries. Stopped by in the afternoon just before they closed. I am definitely keen on trying more.
John LR: Great bakery with some amazing cakes and dessert. Staff were friendly, but a little impatient. Coffee was a little disappointing this visit. Has been much better in the past, so putting it down to a bad day. Definitely worth a visit just for the cakes and pastries.
Monica Borg: My experience was so very 😞 disappointing...The cake order that I ordered on Tuesday was lost. The cake was delivered to Castle Hill instead of Dural, and they wanted me to go to Castle Hill, as they did not want to give me the spare cake that they had. Then I asked for writing to be put on the cake and they forget to write the word Birthday...What a joke, will not be ordering any more cakes from them. They need to get their shot together.
Joanna: Fresh and crispy pastry, creme filling wasn’t too sweet. Will try tarts, sourdough bread and cake next time
Roshan Perera: Great coffee and pastries
The crusty old hag next door: Coffee is exceptional! The music they were playing was a bit too loud, however I will return.
BL: Some pastries are very dry
Kath: A thoroughly beautiful cake, inside and out! Thanks so much.
Margaret-Anne Hayes: What an absolutely fabulously wonderful cafe/bakery/Patisserie Such bliss!!!! I only learnt of Dolcetini about five or six weeks ago as we live at Turramurra, way out of your range. Since finding the Patisserie I have taken five different lots of friends, my son, my husband, have recommended it on my fb page, and have visited about twelve times in that short period of time. The staff are just lovely, the coffee is BLISSFUL, and as for the sausage rolls, we have all agreed they are the best any of us have ever tasted. One of these days I am going to come into the shop and buy each and every cake and pastry so I can taste them all. Meanwhile love the pan chocolat, the muffins, the almond croissant , the ricotta roll, the cornet-shaped round thingie (can't pronounce it), my husband now goes straight for the donut type deliciousness, I've tried about three others of the cakes and they are all just so scrumptious. Congratulations to the whole team, staff, bakers, chefs, admin., you have created a beautiful space, with exquisite bouquets of flowers, it is a joy to visit. Only wish you lived nearer. Set off to visit you last Sunday, hit an accident and couldn't get there after waiting in traffic for over an hour, aughhh. Just about to heat up the sausage rolls for dinner after having a delicious coffee around lunchtime. P.S forgot the bread and the pizza like flat loaf, to die for, just so nice. In fact it is a very long time since I have been anywhere where every single item we have bought has been of the highest quality. Thank heavens our friend Marion recommended you to us.
Rara Levis: Pork and fennel roll - Yum!Coffee is a bit of a let down
Food Adventurist: Recommend the sultanas riccota scroll and almond croissant. Very delicious.
leslie ford: Worst sausage rolls out so fatty and undercooked and the customer service was appalling the young girl was rude and unwelcoming only compliment was for the barista
Melissa Adams: Third time I’ve come to this place and there’s no rolls. All before 12pm. I ordered a bacon and egg roll and was literally turned away… I said I was even happy with just bread and was told no. For a bakery it’s pretty bad not to have bread all the time.
Amit Bhatnagar: 5 stars not enough for Dolcettini. Excellent customer service. Love all the products. Keep this quality and service forever.
Sean Yu: Pistachio Croissant was great! The actual product is identical to the photo in their website!
Amelia Hawke: The quality is amazing. Always happy with my purchases.
Amina Sajadi: Amazing quality
Frank Abate: Probably the best Italian cake shop in Sydney - worth the trip to Dural
Maria Yalan: Delicious

Pasticceria Papa: what do users think?
Tracey Smith: Had a nice coffee this morning but my experience was spoilt by grumpy sour staff.I won't go back. Please provide some customer service training.
Mugdha Kuber: Absolutely love the baked ricotta cheesecake here 💓
Annino O'Reilly: Food was really nice. The service was fantastic, very attentive and plenty of it. I had the big breakfast and it kept me going beyond lunch!
Sierra: A fabulous establishment. It's funny standing in line there is a bit like being in an informal Italian lesson full of teachers' pets trying to impress as they wrap their tongues around the curly Italian vowels. 😄Delicious stuff!
Enna Smith: Fast and friendly. Ordered a Ricotta cake.
matt t: Great pastries and cakes, restaurant is very good to.
Sunny Bansal: Always a treat to visit Papa, great selection and service every time. Long trading hours is a bonus especially if you are looking for a late night coffee and a sweet treats.
Scott Richardson: Absolutely terrible.
Tom Scott: Some of the best pastries in sydney and the only place to grab a drink at 10pm on a Saturday night in Haberfield
vladymir lauchang: One-stop dining shop, if you are looking for the full Italian dining experience, this is the place.Fine and casual dining available. With great food on offer, friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant, cafe, and bakery in one.
Ca Var: DOES NOT PAY STAFF. UNPAID HOURS. BFFR
M Doats: Pasticceria Papa Haberfield. Absolutely wonderful lunch. Delicious food and generous serves. Delightful staff, really helpful, kind and friendly and so nice to our kids. Indoor and outdoor seating. Gorgeous decor. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Thanks so much for helping to make our day so special. Much appreciated! We'll definitely be back!
Phil Devine: Need something sweet in your day? Come here! Extensive range of treats are available and they taste as good as they look! Decent coffee too. Enjoy!
safyurek: Nice interior design...Average coffee taste...Nice and traditional cakes...Clean stuff / Polite staffQuick service.
Veronica Sharma: Always a good experience when coming here. Our go-to coffee and dessert stop 🙏🏽
Shawn Tang 179: Great ambience. It’s great to start the day with a crisp yet it has a melt in your tongue sensation pizza!
Roberto Gentile: Authentic Italian cuisine.
Dave O'Donohue: Tuesday after Easter, myself and 3 kids come in at 11:30. Order a coffee, a juice and 2 milkshakes. Plus a couple of macaroons and a mini cake.Food lovely as always. Came out in 5 mins. 20 minutes later the drinks come. I pointed this out and, while the manager did give us a couple of free things, she would not take any responsibility. ‘We only have one staff member etc’. Not true. There are at least 6 staff on. 20 mins for a few basic drinks is not good service.Plus, the barista’s two mates came in well after us and stood at the counter and got served straight away. You need proper processes in place and to take responsibility.
Robyn Lyndon: First time here and the customer service is so professional and friendly - had the bruschetta which was done on a wood fire pizza oven so good but the mushroom risotto made fresh for us to eat and the best risotto I have had in ages and the coffee is one of the best I have had in Sydney - thanks for the great dining experience😁🌻
Bessie Yuan: Ordered a ricotta cheesecake with customisation two days before pickup. When picking up the cake, we were told that there was nothing. After checking 3 times, they finally found the namecard but not the cake. The cake was delicious, but it was unfortunate with the inconvenience of picking it up.
Kimberley Gerdes: Update …Due to inflation the big breakfast is now $25. Still a great breakky option.A big breakfast for under $20, I didn’t think this was still possible in Sydney. We went to Haberfield with the intention of going to another cafe for breakfast but they were busy so we went to Papas and we weren’t disappointed. The big breakfast was big and only $19. It included eggs, bacon, hash brown, tomato, sausage, toast, spinach and mushrooms. The tea was nice and strong and real leaves instead of the usual tea bag that cafes seem to think is acceptable in a pot of tea. Thanks Papas we enjoyed our brekky.

Business type: Patisserie

Lorraine's Patisserie: what do users think?
Yaoqi Huang: The worst service ever.
Alice Xu: If no one answer the phone at all, please just remove the number from your advertising. Such a waste of time. It’s about to close down anyway so don’t want to give too much criticism. Good cake in the cheese cake category, not impressive enough for a third try (seconds is bought by others) until I heard it’s about to close down. Definitely not worth a trip in vain, will not try again, bye bye.
Carolyn Tran: Lorraine, you're lucky you make good cakes. I'm not sure how you've managed to keep your business otherwise, your service is appalling. Beyond disappointed to have had dealt with you during this time of the year (Christmas).
Zac Grady: Yummy croissant but expected a greater variety of goods there. Didn’t try anything else unfortunately
Yue Han: Me and my partner both agreed that this is the BEST CHEESECAKE and PUFF we've ever had. The puff had a crispy camaralised layer at top, and a soft puff pastry underneath it with cream fillings. It was amazing how these two combined so well together. The cheesecake had a really fluffy texture and there was this just the right amount of sourness that balanced the richness and sweetness of the cheesecake so well that you would only wanna have another one.On the other hand, we both think the signature Mascarpone cheesecake is below the standard of the other two.Overall a really impressive dessert experience and we would definitely come back again.
Paul Dollard: Stood for 5 minutes without a hint of acknowledgment. So rude.
Mohammad Habibur Rahman (Sumon): Very good for cakes and pastries.
Rachel Y: I've always known about Lorraine's cheesecake and loved it. It was the opposite of the heavy New York cheesecake - light and fluffy with the lemony flavour. In recent years, their strawberry mascarpone has become my new favourate, a must try!
R A: Very expensive but worth every penny! The Mascarpone Cake is simply delicious and those mouth watering Choux Puffs are dangerously addictive….you simply won’t be able to stop at one! Everything at Lorraine’s is exquisite, so you can’t go wrong, whatever you choose!
Angel Z: Old school almond croissant which had light crisp layers, a cluster of toasted almonds dusted with icing sugar on top and dried cherries + jam in the centre. The pastry was crumbly, fresh and very delicious!Unfortunately, I personally dislike the taste of preserved cherries, however, I understand this is subjective. My preferred filling is creamy & nutty or citrus & fruity. All in all, it’s better than the almond croissants of piccolo Leo & Bourke Street bakery, but falls short of Lode pies & Banksia Bakehouse.Would be keen to come back and try their cakes!
bernard chee: It’s certainly a hidden gem across Wynyard station in Ivy precinct. Experience cakes, tarts and other pastries. Catch a glimpse of Lorraine Godsmark, working behind the open pastry kitchen. Hits and misses for me where Coconut macaroon takes the top spot, follow by Mascarpone and Franjipane tart.Take away only.
LU SZ-PEI: Those two are nice.
Bo Jun Lam: The Pâtisserie is tucked away in a small alley snd its easy to miss. I went at about 2pm and there was not a lot available. I didn't have much choice and just got the mascarpone cake and the Ruby's cake. But let me tell you the mascarpone cake was so so so good, one of the best I've ever had!
A K: Love it.. wish they were not sold out
Mart Deg: I had the coconut macaroons, sausage roll, lemon cheesecake, Frangipane tart and Ruby’s cake (not in that order)All were great but my favs were the Ruby’s cake and Franjipane cake. By far!The cheese cake base had a bit too much ginger for my likings but I must admit that I am not a big fan of ginger to start with. The cheesecake itself was incredible. So light and fluffy. The sausage roll was enjoyable but average. maybe I had too much cake beforehand and was too saturated. Will definitely return.Highly recommended.
Christine Dang: I’ve been coming back to Lorraine’s for the strawberry mascarpone cake since it opened. It’s my husbands favourite cake so I get it for him every year. I also like the Ruby’s cake. When I have friends visiting from interstate, I take them here to try the cakes. It’s best to pre order in advance otherwise I think you can purchase individual serves on the day. I tried to order last Friday to pick up on Saturday and it was sold out, that’s how popular the cake is!Lorraine is a humble, dedicated and hardworking woman. One evening before closing I picked up a cake and she was the last one in the shop. I told her that she works hard, and her response was, “my team are good to me”.Today my husband picked up his cake with my 2.5 yo who wanted to eat the cake immediately. She could see he was getting upset and she gave him some chocolates to have instead.Thank you Lorraine :)
Charbel Azzi: Absolutely terrible service. Called up the store at 9am on Friday morning to order a cake, knowing they open at 8:30 and no one answered. Kept trying to call but no one picked up until 10:30am. By that time the cake I wanted for that day was sold out. Fine. Placed an order for Saturday morning to pickup and the lady on the phone told me it’d be ready at 12pm. Went into the store at 12:40pm, my cake was not put aside. They had no recollection of my order, nor did they have any cakes to let me buy. The lady at the counter then said that it’d be ready in 30 minutes. What’s the point of calling up, ordering and being told a time if they’re not even going to have the cake ready? Terrible experience, will not be returning.
Rachel S: Mascarpone cake is a must try!
hill ary: The negative reviews on here about horrific customer service is all true. Came at opening time to purchase breakfast - was told pretty much nothing is ready, come back in 15 mins. I come back in 20 mins, there's still nothing ready, I can try coming back in 5 mins. Why even bother putting up opening times if you have nothing to sell. Save your money and your time and don't come here. Merivale needs to get rid of this terrible business
Zoe Chen: The great bakery hide into the alley, every time pass through always have long queue. This time I try croissant and cheese cake, croissant surprisingly have wonderful balance between the sweet and acid from fruit. The other cakes is perform well, not too sweet I love that. But I saw the review from other guests seems service have big issues which need to improve

Tezza T: Delicious, Favouritable, Freshest, Tastiest Apertizing, Appealing Cakes in Inner West. Just try for yourself, it's the same consistency since day 1 it opened. Only way to see for yourself is head their and try it yourself!!!!!Thanks Mancuso Family ❤️
stella grima: Love the Cakes and pastries. Very friendly staff. My family and I would like to thankyou for making our parents 60th Wedding Anniversary Cake. You made our vision into exactly what we wanted and more. It was very beautiful and tasted very delicious. May I say our parents were very surprised to see their original cake topper on top of cake which made it even more special and complemented the cake. Again Thankyou ..
Sarah Karas: My family and I have been enjoying the delicious sweets and cakes from Mancouso’s for three generations now! We just enjoyed a wonderful mud cake for my son and mother in laws birthday! Not a crumb was left, the mud cake was moist and not overly sweet and the gnash was just mouth watering. The wonderful Elizabeth designed and created this cake - she is a delight to work with. She is very attentive and is able to replicate any photo I have shown her! She’s the best in the business with a sweet and kind heart! Looking forward to many more cakes from Mancuso’s!
Victoria Agnese: I do not recommend giving this business the time of day when ordering a cake for a special occassion. I attempted to order my wedding cake and spoke with Elizabeth. Elizabeth could not professionally or competently provide me a quote on cake prices I was shut-down and my inquiry ignored. I was given the vibe that it was assumed that I could not afford these services. Clearly Paticceria Mancuso cannot provide anything worthy for my event. If I could give this business a 0/5 I would, its unfortunate I can only give 1 star.
Katharine Oxley: Best pastries
Louise Bell: Love the trays of mini cakes.
Natalia Hingerty: Always 5 star

San Valentino: what do users think?
greg swanton: Authentic Italian delights at their best
Andrew Marquez: Great place, authentic Italian pastries.
Dao Lam: Cute little patisserie in Haberfield. The set up of the place was a bit confusing. They were really busy so was told to go to another area to order. The tiramisu we got was delicious but the gelato wasn't as flavoursome as I had hoped. I got the coffee flavour and couldn't really taste any coffee.
Asu Yurdasal: Italian Italian I love all about it !!
Maurizio Sp: If you love Italian pastry this is the place to go. Small production with focus on quality over quantity. You can have coffee, gelato, pastry and food at a very competitive price.
Jo-Anne Curry: Better than Papa's, and the coffee is superb.
Will Rojas Fort: The best place for a sweet tooth like me! But my favourite is and will always be the ' Cannoli di Ricotta'
marco polo: Great coffee and cakes
Joe Moda: Great coffee, deserts and service!
Joel Willey: I would avoid this place if you have any food allergies.
Tiffany Voll: This is my favourite patisserie in Sydney! I've only ever had the baked goods here, but I will keep coming back time and time again for these. I love that they have a variety of miniature options, as I can try out different things without having to commit to the large version. Can't wait for my next visit!
Anitema Lauakupouli: Absolutely love San Valentino! It’s like a being in Italy everything is made with love ❤️ 🇮🇹 ciao
Lukjno: Nice pastries, coffee not so great though
Jesse Gonzalez: Great coffee
Peter Medynski: Delicious cannellonis…!!!
Sarah Alali: Came here after visiting Papas and finding papas was super busy and you have to wait in line. Decided to try this place and all that was my biggest mistake. Quality is not their, freshness Not there. The tart was super dry. cannoli also taste old rather wait in line for peppers next time.
Gabriela Camilleri: Our first time here, absolutely delicious. Coffee was perfect. Service friendly and prompt, foccacias were yumm and cakes to die for. The hot cross buns are the best. Highly recommend!!
Davey Baby: Very friendly staff, good food and reasonably priced
Michele Guarneri: Nice pastries,good coffee
Local Ronny: This place has some of the best sweets, including my new favourite, Milliefoglie. The tarts have the perfect shell, nice and short. Great coffee and they also have some nice granita drinks.Perfect for the Sydney heat waves.
Peter: Amazing coffee and cakes!

Pasticceria Papa: what do users think?
Ann G: We ordered regular lattes and the worker decided to make them with light milk and just warmed it up - no froth whatsoever. If we'd known it was for our order we would have corrected her that we didn't ask for fat free milk. These were a chore to drink - Coles Express has better coffee.Service was prompt as it was not a busy time.
Tara: Ricotta Nutella cake thing is the 1
Matisti Yebo: Fresh bread, lovely creamy ice cream
Reut Malka: Great pastriesLove the coffeeWonderful service 😊What else can you ask for?
Luigi Amoresano: Good coffees and good sweets. Recommended
A “Big” Mystry: Smart looking patisserie. Bought a small tart and it was pretty good. It was a little cheaper it would easily be a five.
Ozxco: I had an ice cream from there and there was a dead fly inside the ice cream
David Chazarra Bru: The closest to an European (Mediterranean) bakery in Bondi Beach. Delicious!
Arisa_Alisa Yamashita: The pistachio bigne I bought today was delicious!! That's my new favourite ;)[picture] from the first time I went to this shop I bought a Biscotto occhio di bue and a Cannolo. These were yummy too!!
KK: Affordable well priced baked goods, spacious and clean, friendly staff. Can't wait to come back to try more pastries!
-: The cheesecake was disappointed me. So sweet
Caterina Scalzo: There is not even ONE vegan option between their dozens of different pastry types - very weird considering we are in 2022 and in Bondi. On top of this, they also ridiculed me when I politely asked if there was anything vegan - they laughed and said if you're vegan you don't walk into a place like this and said they reluctantly do anything gluten free. We are talking about personal life choices, allergies or someone's morals - how dare anyone judge people for that. I would give zero stars if I could. I am Italian and ashamed that a place like this is associated with my country and culture.
Leila: Absolutely terrible. The macarons tasted like clay and were rock hard. Definitely not fresh.
TMF LP: Autentico ricotta cheesecake
Terry Clegg: Quite simply the best cakes and croissants in town. The staff were excellent. Always made to feel welcome
Tibor Szopory: Great pastries
Marlene Ferguson: Hey. This is my patch.
Olivia Food Blog: A great venue for lunch or morning or afternoon tea with a selection of cakes, desserts, gelato, biscuits. They also have freshly baked bread and savoury items on their menus.
John Bygrave: Love their antipasti share plate. Generous and good quality salumi, cheese, olives, peppers, bread and olive oil. Finish off with a ricotta cake and excellent coffee.
Jakob Tate: Absolutely delicious treats, biscotti here is unreal.

Raffael's Bakery: what do users think?
Jesse J: This place is awesome, seriously good. Best old time favourites- cream buns, cherry turnovers etc Then there is the most incredible sultana & walnut loaf ( I usually hate sultanas) the absolute bomb is the eggplant rustica- it’s like a hearty home made family size pizza loaded with toppings.i feel like I’m in NapoliGrazie Mille !!!! Keep up the great work ladies
Wippa Snippa: The shop is decorated with decorative bread. Many choices of bread 🥖Arracini, ranges of pizza buns, tiramisu are good here. Not over priced and staffs are friendly.
Elliot Oxley: Lovely staff, delicious bread and deserts. Not an enormous selection of Pastries and not cheap, but delicious. Can’t quite understand the long weekend queues but a good, local bakery.
Marina Jay: This place is insanely good!! They have a variety of Italian cakes, tarts and biscottis and a whole wall of different breads. I took home a few cakes and donuts and a potato focaccia and couldn’t believe how delicious they were. They are very reasonably priced and take cash and card. The lady who served me was so lovely and I would happily recommend this place to anyone :)
L C: The tiramisu is a winner!
Alice Z: The ricotta donuts are so yummy! As are the focaccias and pizzas. Service is friendly. Can’t wait to go back.
Sivaji Vanamala: Nice
Marilynn Olson: First time visiting today. I felt connected to my Italian grandma and great-grandma in every bite. This is a super special place. 10 stars.
Fox and Quail: The mini donuts are the best ever! Freshly made daily, jam and custard are a favourite, ricotta and Nutella too 👍
Joey Crisologo: In my opinion the best Italian bakery in Sydney hands down. Been a loyal patron since their simpler days. Outstanding quality across their breads, cake and pastry, and pizza. Leaving the place without at least one item per category may cause nagging regret. It's that good. My fave are their ricotta donuts. Guaranteed to plaster a smile through a tough day. Pro tip show up early so you don't miss out.
Luca Busin: I get the same vibe I used to have when walking in a bakery in Italy as a child. The aroma, the variety!
Ruth Lewis: Wonderful staff, warm and friendly. A sweet spot indeed.
Anastasia Constantinidis: Everything about this place is amazing & the service is always fast & friendly. The ladies are all lovely
Emma McGirr: We are Raffael regulars for the delicious arancini and chewy pistachio biscuits but yesterday I sampled the homemade Raffael’s panettone (traditional and chocolate) and immediately knew I couldn’t go home without one. I opted for the chocolate flavour and honestly, it puts all other store bought panettones I’ve tried to shame. A perfect festive season gift for others or just for yourself.
Mya: They had so many varieties. Lots of different types of bread, doughnuts, cakes, pizza, biscuits and more.I had a slice of the ricotta cheesecake, it was awesome. It was freshly baked today and delicious. This is the place to go for ricotta cheesecakes. The custard filled donut was also delicious.
Kevin Smith: This is the third time, that I have been overcharged at this place. Watch what you are charged. Service is slow.
Hankyung Sung:
Paul Smith: Be careful as they will intentionally overcharge you.
Anthony Byrne: Best bakery I've tried in Sydney
Gabriela Valentina: Delicious arancini and lovely cherry pies. Great prices and good quality. Excited to try the bread soon.
Alex Burmeister: Shocking!!! Absolutely unbelievable! The tiramisu (large or small) is sooo good, and so cheap, it puts the competition to shame. My whole adult life I have been (or "was") on the look out for the best tiramisu in Australia.... I've given up searching. Nothing beats Raffael's tiramisu. Raffael, if you're listening, please never change.
