Made in Italy Sydney CBD Pizza & Pasta: what do users think?
E P: Great little find!Simple, delicious food and very reasonably priced. I was greeted with a smile, ordering was simple and the menu was not complicated.Pizza was the perfect crust, thin and evenly cooked with generous toppings.Pasta dishes were delicious, again great portion sizes and very flavourful.I was told my pizza and pasta will be 15 min wait. I went and had a glass of wine, At The Bar Next Door which is also run by Made In Italy staff.Thank you guys for an amazing feed. I will definitely come back with some friends and sit at the restaurant next time!

Torjus Fluge Fornes: I ordered a bowl with bolognese, supposedly with beef, pork and extra ham (+4$). I got a bowl full of penne pasta with tomato sauce and minimal meat. I could have gotten more meat by getting a hot dog somewhere.

Philomena Arroyo: I ordered the Napoletana pasta and I give it a 3/5 stars. I broke this dish down to 3 components. Pasta, sauce and cheese. Pasta 5/5 because it was cooked to aldente. Pasta sauce 4/5 its a good quality but not authentic sugo napolitana. Cheese 1/5 parmesean cheese was used and it sticks to your teeth like anything. I eat alot of pasta but never have I ever had parmesean cheese stick to my teeth so much. Maybe it was the quailty of parmesean cheese. Who knows. So BEWARE because you will certianly need a toothpick. Other than that I'm pretty happy, I'm glad it wasn't mushy tastless pasta which most takeaway stores sell.
Alaster Tran: On a fine summer's evening, I was looking for some late night, tantalizingly mouth-watering pizza with a friend, especially after some appetizing buttery croisant cocktails in Sydney. The night was looking grim with such limited options given Sydney's reputable thriving night life. However, out comes Trina, who graciously took our half and half 15" pizza order without hesitation. Pizza was amazing. Definitely will be back, thanks to Trina👌👌Also shout out to the kitchen staff for making the pizza.

We stayed until 30 minutes after their closing time but no one was rushing us to leave.Pappardelle is a must try. Cici Wright: The service was spot on. Nice ambience and vibe. Food was good, not the best Italian I’ve ever tasted but solid. I love pasta but the portion size was very large, I had the ragu and would have liked a little less pasta with more sauce. All round, nice experience and would go again!
Sam Singh: Great food and service; tad pricy but it’s a nice treat.

Fratelli Paradiso: what do users think?
Matt Saggers: This place feels like an Italian institution, and did not disappoint. The staff were at attentive and welcoming, and the food was amazing - light and good portions.
Angus Sullivan: Great lasagna
Anton Komarov: Great food, with a good atmosphere. Had a date night and everything was perfect! Can’t wait to come back!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Andrew Jens: Quite expensive, but the food was excellent (especially the lamb). The staff were extremely attentive and very friendly. Definitely recommended for a special occasion.
Ver: We booked for our anniversary start at 6.45pm been told that it's a 2h sitting, we got there 15mn earlier and the server didn't greet us, he just asked us "do you have a table?" First of all he didn't greet us and second he couldn't find our booking. We requested on the booking for a table sitting at the booth, He sat us next to the bartender, narrow and uncomfortable place. Tables are super close to each other. We were rushing the moment we sat down. The waitstaff cleared our plate too early as we haven't even finished yet. I asked for a sweet Margarita, the waitstaff told me that they don't do sweet Margarita, I myself was bartender and now work in Venu Management hospitality for 10 year in high end fine dining with famous chef based in Sydney. I've never heard someone said they cannot do a sweet Margarita. The waitstaff didn't apologise and rolled his eyes on us.We ordered the pane, it was not fresh bread, really hard, and felt like it was yesterday bread. However, the rest of the food we ordered was great at standard but nothing outstanding. The calamari was amazing, balanced, and verry well with the sauce and nice soft crunch texture. The Tagliatelle with lamb was delicious. Nice and fresh dough made. The ribeye was perfectly cooked, hat to the chef, potatoes was ok, nothing special. And the green salad had nice vinegrette flavor. We ended up with the tiramisu, it was nice well made, delicious. But the moment we finished the last bite of the tiramisu, the waitstaff came and said " Are you done?" By asking twice. As he can see we were still holding our spoon and finishing up the last cream. He took the plate and straight away came with the efpot and the bill as we didnt ask for it and waited for us to pay. We didn't get the 2h sitting but only 1h15mn. We wanted to get more drinks as digestive but the waitstaff was really unprofessional. He seemed to work there for a really long time but really need to improve he work skills. We gave $15 tip as me and my partner both work hospitality, we appreciate the kitchen work and other servers who were kind and friendly, but the one who serve us, looks like in the late 40s, short shaved hair, about 1.75m tall, no glasses, he did not deserve it.We would come again for the foods would expect a better customer service next time.
Brenton Gard: came for a nice Italian meal while here for work and the service was pretty average because for the first 15 minutes i sat there with no interaction but just listening to multiple staff asking to leave early. So decided to get takeaway and the meal tasted nice but for $40 the size was below average.Food: 5/3|Service: 5/2|Atmosphere: 5/3 …More
Adrian Stacy: Trip down memory lane - a true Potts Point stalwart. Food remains a true tribute to regional Italy, and great wine list includes some rare finds. Unfortunately service was a bit patchy. Although our main waiter was attentive and engaging, an incident where a glass of red wine was accidentally tipped over a friend of mine was met with a very casual, flippant attitude unbefitting a place of this calibre.
Ryan Piercy: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/4Recommended dishes Scampi SpaghettiMore
Angeline Chan: A nice semi fine dining place to go in the neighborhood.Nice atmosphere in the restaurant.Staff were lovely and nice.Pasta cooked nicely and taste delicious. The scampi, i thought it will be grilled (maybe it was but taste like it steamed) i might be wrong. But it cooked nicely.Steak to finishing the meal was perfect 😊Will surely come around here again.
Georgie Anne: LOVE this place
Kendrick Hew: Beautiful restaurant in the heart of Potts point. If you’re in for an Italian treat this is the place to go. It can be very overwhelming with the amount of options there are in the area but I can assure you that this is a good choice. My only comment is that I wish the menu had a few more options and the portion size for the pasta was a little larger but everything taste amazing. Would come again.
Vicky Wei: Scampi spaghetti is so good! The best pasta I’ve ever had.
Jochen Stossberg: Haven't visited this old favorite restaurant for four years. The atmosphere is still there and the staff are still as cool as they used to be - but the food, for the seriously hefty prices, is now disappointing. So in that department, which is what it's all about, is ordinary.
Kenneth Baker: Enrico and Giovanni won't read this, but Fratelli Paradiso took centre court away from the incumbents when opening in Challis Avenue. In business school they teach you differentiation, but this is another level.
Treeto Tally: Wonderful food and service. We had the Scallop Risotto & Prawn pasta. Fabulous start to finish. Can’t wait to return.
B N: This place is a fantastic Italian restaurant with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is simply amazing.
Sarah Henderson: Overall the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Recommended
Jan Tack: Food: 5/3|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/4More
Dao Huynh: Our initial waiter who seated us was lovely (Lorenzo), but his colleague who looked after our table thereafter was not so. Not sure if it was the fact we weren't drinking (I am 8 months pregnant) and didn't go all out with starters (again pregnant so no cured meats or cheese for me), but he was arrogant and rude. The dishes we ate were actually quite nice, ravioli and lasagne both prepared and seasoned well. Unfortunatel my very last fork of lasagne I crunched down into something that crumbled, I had to spit out to see what it was as I thought it could have chipped a tooth. I pulled out some shell, which looked like shellfish. I left it on my fork so that the kitchen staff could be alerted. I let our waitstaff know and he completely ignored what I had said and asked if I wanted tiramisu. No acknowledgement, no apology on behalf of the kitchen. I'm sure he did not care to let them know. He looked at us and treated us as if we were cheap and would want a discount. Not the intention of letting him know. I'm an operations manager and we can't and won't improve without feedback. I don't think it's ok for any restaurant let alone a restaurant of Fratelli's calibre and price point for the portions. This was one of our last "nice" meals out together before our first child arrives. So I wanted to treat my partner (who is Italian). It's a shame it has been tainted with shellfish in our lasagne and such arrogant service. There are a few reviews to this nature and I can only guess it's the same wait staff. Maybe management don't care because they are only interested in people that spend the big bucks so they only nurture these patrons and their relationships. This is why Sydney get such a bad wrap for their snobby service in comparison to Melbourne restaurants. Who value all their patrons no mater from what 'walks of life' and everyone is treated equally. Wouldn't dine here again.Parking: Terrible parking options (Saturday night). We were late having to circle the streets a few times.
Travis Ng: Food experience was varied— bread was nothing to write home about and given the price, a bit disappointing. Scallops were good, dressing great but a bit on the small side as you can see in the picture. Pasta, though, was delicious. Perfectly cooked pasta (which sounds like it should be a given but you'd be surprised) and amazing flavour for the meat. Finally, tiramisù— amazing. The spongey bit of the cake is PROPERLY and authentically soaked through, tastes delicious.I've seen other reviews here, and my two cents on the common complaints:Service— our server was great, friendly, greeted with a smile, not too pushy, and fast. We wanted to split a pasta dish because we weren't too hungry and he serve it to us already split in to bowls, which was very thoughtful. However, we did notice another server who definitely did not have the same attitude or tone as ours. I wouldn't say he was rude but it was a noticeable difference, so I think it really depends on who you get.Portion size— please note that the pasta in my pictures are HALF portion. As mentioned above, the server kindly pre-split our pasta as I wanted to share with my partner. That said, the portions are rather small, and had I not already snacked beforehand I would probably still be hungry even with a full portion and the sides.Price— as others have noted, unfortunately not great given the portion size. Ambience is also just kind of ok given the price point. I would expect something either a bit more upscale of a vibe or something that doesn't cost as much.

Thiago Baldim: We went there to have dinner before go to a Movie during the Sydney Film Festival. And very conveniently they have a pre theatre menu. That includes a tasting plate with 4 bite-sized experiences. 2 of them I liked very much, simply delicious. The sweet corn soup was good. And one of the options was very salty for my taste.Talking about salt, I would like to suggest to the chef to keep a little bit of salt at the table to enhance the flavours of the three types of olive oils on the table. The experience is great, although for the first and third olive oil option the salt bring more the fruitness of the third oil and balance better the lemon olive oil.Regarding the dish, I can say is one of the best pasta dishes I've had in Sydney. I had the blond duck bolognese and was perfect in every bite. Be aware, the dish has nothing even close to a traditional bolognese. Is a white sauce base dish. But was amazing. Well balanced and executed. My wife had the ravioli, and was perfect as well. But my favourite was the duck.We had the merengue dessert, such well thought dish. Where we got an entree for the dessert, that was a new thing for me, and then the dessert well balanced with all elements right. Sweet, acidity, crunchy.About the wine service, was very good with attention to detail. Nothing to complain about it.At the end we got nice chocolate balls 😋. That was a surprise.Probably we will go back for the 6 course menu, but the 2 course menu already made my night.Wheelchair accessibility: Can use the lift from the gallery.
Anita H: Coming from Italy went here to try some Italian food however I believe this is more like Aussie/Italian food rather than authentic Italian food. The staff are really friendly and professional and the food was quite good. Just a bit too salty for our taste but the flavours were interesting. The vibe was good too.Overall a nice romantic experience.Worth a try

Michelle Griffin: Only 2nd time I have been here & I absolutely love this place. The food is amazing & the service is great & all with a dimly- lit ambience, which I love. I don't like brightly lit restaurants. The Sommelier who served us was awesome at pairing a wine with our different courses. Thank you Sir Anthony🙏(I thought he looked like a young Anthony Hopkins).I will 100% be back on a regular basis. It was actually my b'day & I couldn't have gone to a better place.

Hev: This was our first and last time visiting Pendolino.4 of us had the Pre-Theatre Early Dinner on Saturday. The food was great but unfortunately, the service was underwhelming and unpleasant. When we declined the upselling/offer of a glass of sparkling (as we had already decided to order other drinks) the response from the waiter was abrasive and condescending. As meals were arriving at another table close by, the waitress was obviously annoyed that they weren’t ready and wasn’t discreet when saying something to other staff.Overall, the service was lacking professionalism and spoiled our experience.
wizlb: My wife and I went to Pendolino, for our 20th wedding anniversary, and the food was outstanding, the service was impeccable. There was one small mistake, but it was corrected before we left, and overall I rate our evening at 9 1/2 score out of 10…
Steph Di Val: Really lovely time was had.Big shout outs to the Charcoal Foccacia and Michael who waited on us.If you have the time and $$ to invest in doing the 6 Course Degustation AND wine pairing, it's wholeheartedly worth it.Food and wine both delicious. Palate cleanser at the end was sharp and did the trick. Was appreciative of swapping out one dish for another, despite it being a set menu. The only things I could maybe nitpick were that the courses felt like they came out a little too quickly, especially given there was wine to finish with each one and the plates while nice looking don't really let you cutlery lean on it. Cutlery kept sliding onto the plate and into the food. Not the end of the world, just a little messy.

Sesame Sprinkles: Pendolino is an Italian restaurant, which serves food in either 3-, 4- or 6-course menus. Upon request, they provide an extra menu for vegans. For each course, you can choose from a couple of options, so you have several options (similar to the "regular" menu).Considering the fact that the prices here are quite high (starting at 140$ per person for the 3 course menu), you should be able to expect a proper fine dining experience. In terms of food, however, it was just okay. I clearly preferred some dishes over other dishes. Compared to the food my non-vegan friends had, some vegan dishes seemed a bit lacking (as if they had simply removed the non-vegan component). At other times, the plating was a bit "questionable".But staff was lovely and service was very good. There were several waiters and waitresses providing us with information about food and drinks, and even supplied us with extra treats on the house. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor inside a shopping mall. The atmosphere is elegant and old-fashioned: Individual tables, wooden furntiure and white table cloth. Booking a table in advance is required.Vegetarian options: vegan menu available
Bernard Batchelor: Recommended dishes Pendolino Classic Nougat SemifreddoMore
Leni #: 6 of us went to dinner. The service was impeccable with friendly staff and service. The food was well presented and even though it was fine dining a lot of work went into each dish. Compliments to the chef. If I needed to find something about this restaurant would be the price but overall an amazing night. Just an apology for leaving late, im sure the staff warned to go home but no one complained. And a huge thank you to the chefs who gave up complementary potatoes and salad. By the end of the night we were so full. Thank you to the chefs and staff for a memorable night.

Guy Soper: This was the worst restaurant ive ever experienced. Only got half of what was ordered off the menu .Everything was more french cuisine than Italian in ridiculously small portions . I got something in a cup of olive oil with corn kernels at the bottom , they were stuck so the owner approached me and asked if i would like a little spoon like the mice and rats use ! I thought what a thing to say to a customer how rude and insulting .My main corse i ordered the kingfish .What i got was something that looked like a clear prawn chip with 2 tea spoons of pecks paste and some garnish .Walked out feeling insulted and ripped off .Dietary restrictions: Good if your not hungry and want to spend a lot of money while being insulted .Nothing like Italian food !
Amber Yoo: Everything was so salty, not worth the price.

Jeremy Shannon Allen: Honestly, I don’t understand the review average. Friggitoria is, like, Italian junk food? It’s very deep-fried, not very flavourful, and there’s less meat inside than you’d expect or hope.Admittedly I’m married to an Italian woman, so maybe I expect too much, but this isn’t great food. The staff don’t eat here.I will also mention that I haven’t tried the pasta, just the takeaway options, so can’t comment on that. But there are excellent pasta restaurants within a kilometre, so I’m not sure when or if I’ll try the pasta here. If I do, will update the review.

Weiqi Pang: Highly recommended for pretzel.I've already recommended this restaurant to many friends.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jessie Hu: Small cozy setting, food was good just it requires skills to fit all the dishes on a tiny table. So don’t order too much at once lol
Dante Mariotto: One of the best experiences at a venue, incredible staff and hosts that were insightful and helpful. The atmosphere is really good here, the seating is a bit odd but that's due to space, would be great for a date. The food was delicious, some of the best dishes I've tried: Focaccia, Ragu and the Cheese plate were my highlights. I asked for the name of all the cheeses they were that good. Only thing worth noting is the portion sizes are small, but still filling. Would highly recommend 10 William Street.
Gianne Frances Rellama: Lovely wine bar with a constantly changing menu. If there’s one thing you must get - the pretzel & whipped bottarga
TiramisudiMilano CroissantdeParis: Recommended dishes Tiramisu, FocacciaMore
c h: Really disappointed and I can’t understand. At least show respect and don’t let your customers wait too long for food or checking bills.
James Smith: I was eating my dinner last year’s agoAnd I see the chefs Trisha was very digusting always playing mobile phone after that she not washing her hand first and keep touching the food and serve it to the costumerAnd also heard she scold her kitchen hand very rudely. like not talking to fellow human beingsNever come this place again
Simon F: Cosy though dimly lit bistro in convenient location off Oxford St and adjacent to Paddington Inn.Lots of tasty share plates are a feature. Unfortunately portion sizes are small.Downstairs is a very room with kitchen on view. Upstairs a bit more space.Seats are not comfy. The lack of lighting is really extreme though it makes your companions look much younger. It’s not cheap and the wines are high priced with no value labels.Staff charming and hard working.Overall a place for a romantic tete a tete or a small group.
Martin Lisa: This place is always booked out. The menu is simple but executed very well. Wine list amazing. Great spot for date night or catch up with friends. It’s a little tight and small but the food makes up for it. Easily one of my favourite places to eat in Sydney.
Pierre 170 Scarpa iuhhbvh: Great foodFood: 5/4|Service: 5/3|Atmosphere: 5/3 …More
Bibiana Velasquez: Terribly overrated! Not sure what these reviews are about but my experience having dinner here last Friday was disappointing to say the least. This place is absolutely tiny but I expected tables for 2 to be of a reasonable size. They are not, you can barely fit 2 cocktails so you can imagine how uncomfortable it is to eat a full diner on them. On top of it, seating faces the same direction so you spent the evening twisted to speak to your companion. I had the worst sore back after. Service was so poor, very inattentive staff. Food sizes are as small as the place itself and taste is average. With so many nice Italian restaurants in Sydney, I suggest you go spend your money somewhere else.
Yue Liu: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pretzel, FocacciaMore
Ionut Caracudovici: Overated! Good food but the portions really small! Overpriced for the food quantity!
Elicia Hush: I previously had rated 5 stars during lockdown. The provisions were excellent. However we finally went for dinner last Saturday for my birthday and was hoping for the same lovely staff and food.We were sat upstairs which is a totally different ambience to downstairs, basically sat along a corridor. So dark we had to use our phones to read the menu. The by the glass wine selection is very limited, I ordered a sparkling which turned out to be a Pet Nav not highlighted on the board….very different to what was stated.Would recommend for a winter lunch, not really a Saturday night vibe IMO
Chris Combe: Incredible, wine is as good as the food. Small tables, share plates and warm service. So glad we finally got to try this place. ❤️Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Fin Lizzy: Get the pretzel!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Meredith Goossen: Easily one of the best restaurants in Sydney. Especially when you consider how frequently they change the menu and still nail the food! We visited last night and were sat downstairs (table for 4). It is a bit on the loud side for such a small space, so keep that in mind. Larger parties probably do better upstairs. We started with the whipped bottarga and pretzel (a must) and the tuna crudo (haters of anisé seed maybe steer clear). I also ordered a swordfish skewer and it was delicious. I had the John Dory for my main and ate every last bit. The spaghetti with crab and orecchiette were also ordered and went over really well. They kindly gave us a tiramisu with our check that was perfection. Would recommend booking if you can. Such a solid spot!
Alexa: A nice little intimate space to have drink and have some delicious (super) small plates. Feelings kinda in a rush by the serves to order more food even tho it wasn't that busy.
Pooi Nie Liew: Finally made it here after so many years of wanting to. We scored the best table in the house, albeit spontaneously, thanks to being early at 5pm on a Friday evening - out on their cosy little balcony for 2. Perfect for us as I don’t cope well with compact spaces when they start to get noisy, which this was when we left at 7pm.Staff were very lovely & our waitress in particular had a very special cute charm about her. Our entree of Zucchini, Stracciatella & Hazelnuts was divine. The pasta options were frustratingly good… I eventually went for the Crab Spaghetti - BEST EVER, seriously! Wayne’s was incredibly tasty Orecchiette with Broccoli leaves & Sausage. Would have loved to try their desert but was too full.Totally impressed with the design of the space given this is an extremely narrow Paddington terrace - the toilet space in particular was such a pleasure to visit. Highly recommend this restaurant - can’t wait to go back.
Get2theChopperWalrus: Great food and space

KINDRED Restaurant: what do users think?
vanessa limandy: Nothing else to say let the stars speak ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Notes: i always come here once a month to have my pasta. Especially when they change the menu i will book asap 🏻 so you will see some differents pasta pictures from my reviewsRecommended dishes House-Made Sourdough Bread & Cultured Butter, Gnocchi Pork and Porcini Ragu Wood Ear, Tiramisu …More
Melissa Byrne: Sadly Kindred didn’t hit the mark for us. We’d heard really great things from friends, so had high expectations. It wasn’t the food that let the restaurant down it was the wait staff. From the moment we opened the front door, the gentleman that greeted us was unfriendly and dismissive. He waved us in the direction of the stairs and said we were up there. When we got to the top of the stairs we were met with the same behaviour, the waitress waived to the the table we were at instead of escorting us over to the table. Everything from that moment took a dive, from cocktails not arriving, pushing us to finish our entrees even though the first drinks hadn’t arrived and because of this mishap it delayed our mains and wine we ordered. Then we were pushed to pay the bill quickly guzzle our wine because they needed the table, even though the delay was because of their mishap. Also the time period we’re talking about is 1 1/2 hrs. The whole experience was just a fizzer and not a well spent $300. Sorry Kindred, but you need to pick up your act and pay attention to detail. It matters.
Mitchell Ford: The bread! The bread! The bread! Holy cow! Also the lasagne 😙 Food: 5/5|Service: 5/4|Atmosphere: 5/4Recommended dishes House-Made Sourdough Bread & Cultured Butter …More
Edmund Ang: First visit here and we’re definitely coming back. The sourdough was excellent! We really liked the pasta that had wonderful texture and taste. Tiramisu is the best we have had in Sydney.Greg provided a wonderful service for us.Looking forward to visiting again !
R C: Friendly but incompetent service. Food was terrible. Pasta looked and tasted like it came from a can.
F Liu: We splurged on the 7 dish tasting menu $65pp, a lot of food for 3 petite ladies! Dishes were tasty, flavourful, staff polite and professional. Wine choices delightful. Highly recommended when you desire good wholesome italian food in a simple wholesome setting and great value for money! 5 out of 5. Could get away with less spend if needed.
Karen Esmore: Good pastas not great. Service a bit on the slow side. Atmosphere casual, pleasant. Worthwhile to try out.
Hsin-Hua Hsieh: Had the chef tasting menu here few days ago with my partner, we both love it! Beautiful food , good atmosphere, special thanks for the great service form the staff with tats, he gave us a clear introduction of menu & drinks, well looked after us.Will definitely come back again.

Benjamin “thebenjaminhuynh” Huynh: The place with some of the freshest tasting dishes! We had the chefs tasting menu and it did not disappoint at all!Every dish tasted great with the freshest ingredients and combined some really interesting flavours! The only thing I would have preferred is if the plates could have been separated between two people to make it easier.Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here!
Alison Bowhillhayes: Superb, Amazing, Culinary Experience of Excellence! Every single mouthful was to die for. 8 people tasting menu and we all agreed it was incredible. Great service and staff polite, knowledgeable and caring. Thank you, we’ll be coming back
Jim M: Sensational Italian. Two of us dined and had the banquet and two cocktails each. An absolute must have is the “Carrot triangoli, goat’s cheese, pistachios, brown butter”. It was absolutely devine. It was my first time, I will be bringing my friends here. Only area of improvement is drinks service taking quite a long time. I’ll order a bottle of wine next time instead. An unsurprisingly busy yet cosy restaurant set across two levels.
Jk P: Had a birthday dinner here, and food was too good. One of the best bites I ever had in Sydney.Cozy little place, perfect for a date night.
Michael Carrington: I loved the tasty food served at Kindred. Delicious!
Leenathelawyer: Absolutely loved everything about my visit at Kindred. The food was specular the service was fantastic (shout out to the older gentleman who was very helpful and lovely) and the atmosphere was vibrant, yet classy. If it’s your first visit, I recommend you start with the tasting menu as it provides a fantastic opportunity to try a bit of everything.

Veronica Tay: I’m in agreement that the food at Kindred is amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious! The carrot triangoli was all the rave and we did enjoy it very much too! The only thing we did not enjoy was the extremely long wait time for our mains. Our table of 6 was seated at 6pm and we ordered soon after. Our entree arrived not too long after, at 6:25pm, but then mains only arrived at 7:10pm and sides at 7:15pm.. everyone was starving by then. Thankfully the food was really good. Desserts also came fairly quickly. It took definitely more than the 2 hour seating time we were allocated, or rather that the booking system strictly emphasised… but the staff were accommodating and did not mention it at all.Had a lovely night overall :)
Ray Zi: We had a really awesome dining experience. The food was amazing. The staff are attentive and polite. The atmosphere is superb. What more can you ask for?

Tiago Sousa: Whatta disappointing experience!I came here to have a nice dinner, but the result was the opposite. We ordered arancini as entree and as a main plate, I ordered lasagna and my girlfriend ordered pasta. After less than 5 minutes our plates came, with the entree altogether. We didn't even have space on the table to fit the plates. You don't need to be a genius to know that you only serve the main plate after people have finished to eat the entree. But the main point is: how come a lasagna got ready in 5 minutes? I can only guess it wasn't fresh, likely frozen.I had to make a huge effort to find the beef in my lasagna. And, it was tasteless, as the pasta.Next time that I want to have a dinner like that, I will buy it frozen from coles. It tastes the same and it only costs 3 dollars. The staff is friendly though.

Alfredo Authentic Italian Restaurant & Cocktail Bar: what do users think?
Abraham Israel: Buonnisssimo!! ( not sure if this is the right spelling) great time with my friends, good selection of wines and of course the lovely hospitality by the lovely host Aida. Keep it up guys.
Dane ML: Food was overpriced and tasteless. Looks like you're only paying for the location. Service was rude to my friend when she didn't eat her whole meal (she also ended up being sick all weekend). Will not be back.Food: 5/1|Service: 5/1|Atmosphere: 5/1 …More
Anthony Cordato: Authentic, Friendly, Great Food, Great ServiceI don’t know how Alfredo does it,but this is an excellent authentic Italian Restaurant. We came when it opened at 5:45 pm for the early sitting. You need to book of course. Even President Obama had to book before he came recently. We had Brushetta, followed by pasta mains. I ordered Linguini al frutte de mare because I rate Italian Restaurants according to their marinara. This was first rate - see photo. The waiters are attentive. The restaurant decor is naturale being on an old bond store, one street behind Circular Quay - see photos. The menu is uncluttered (not complicated). The prices are very reasonable. And yes, the wine selection is also uncluttered - we had a Bowen Shiraz from Coonawarra 2021 which complimented the pasta perfectly. And Alfredo is always around - see photo.
Priyal Raja: Had an amazing dinner on a busy vivid night.Special thanks to Lucho for saving us from having meat accidentally.Thank you so much for a lovely dinner♥️
Bob Stiepock: Pianist playing during dinner service. Wait service was speedy and prompt. Hard to understand wait service accents but I'm a patient guy. Pasta was great. Garlic bread was so soft and tasty. Would come back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

_임지수: 오자마자 손닌한테 여기 식당에서 밥사먹을돈 있냐고 4번 물어본게 인종차별이 아니라면 방문하세요.
A A: Don’t go here hungry - the food is high quality albeit small portions for such steep prices. The venue is also lovely however the tables are small and crammed together - you will end up eavesdropping whether you want to or not. Lastly, the service is awful - the staff pester you as they try to up sell and rush you through ordering so they can get the next table in. This is a chaotic atmosphere - it’s suited for an after work session with colleagues or a first date. Wouldn’t recommend for a relaxing evening with family and friends
Luísa De Souza Miranda: Nice atmosphere, but busy with tables close to one another. The food was served 40 minutes after ordering, in a Wednesday night, during Vivid 2023. The restaurant was busy but not crowded.Food was tasteless, and small portions for the price paid.Service was ok until we got our food served. After that seemed they were rushing us to finish and leave.During payment, the gentleman on with the EFPTOS machine tried to take my card from my hand, for him to tap it quickly. No reason to coming back, quite rude, pricie and no good food.
Diogo Silveira: Presentation was nice, but not tasty food and doesn't seems fresh pasta. Service was a bit rude and rushing specially the manager. Probably will not comeback.Food: 5/2|Service: 5/1|Atmosphere: 5/4 …More
Nicole Blomkamp: Best Italian food in Australia! Such friendly , welcoming staff who remembered me by name after being there over a year ago! Can’t wait to go again ❤️
Nazreen Le Cordeur: First time at Alfredo’s. What a amazing little authentic Italian restaurant. Its cozy, great vibe, live piano music (soo good). The creamy ravioli is to die for, really!! This place has officially became our go-to Italian restaurant.
Anna Snow: This is the best most authentic Italian in Sydney. Amazingly attentive staff, the food was delicious, and the desert was too. A must try!
Annabelle CHASTANG: Amazing place in Sydney! Food was to die for, Italian wine was amazing, staff was extremely friendly and nice, the lady playing live piano was really good and the songs heartwarming. It felt like back in Italy in those small local restaurants only locals know about. We both had an amazing dinner, thanks for all!
Gigi Grace: Dined here to celebrate my anniversary and can say it DID NOT disappoint. Food was absolutely delicious with perfect portions. Service was impeccable. Bar staff were also a delight. Got the best seats - right by the pianist who played beautiful tunes for the evening. The underground bar is really cosy. Absolutely recommended to my family and will be coming back. The whole atmosphere was lovely!
Sonia Pereira: We waited over an hour for our food. Very average and small portions even though the food is on the pricier side.Saw the reviews and thought it would be good. Wish I didn’t waste my Friday night dinner here.

I’m understanding these things happen however it’s the way it was handled that was just rude and unprofessional. The waiter said he was sorry but left very quickly and came back 5 minutes later and basically just swept the alcohol off the table with a white cloth. Our plates and cutlery were wet from alcohol and our outfits and hands sticky. Made what could have been a great experience really disappointing.
