The Sydney Morning Herald: what do users think?
Jeff Phillips: I'm in Perth. I subscribed because they had a good online Markets Live column. When Markets Live got cancelled, I got in touch and told them not to renew my automatic renewal, which still had several months to run. They cancelled my access immediately. When I got in touch with them to reinstate my access for the remainder of my paid subscription, I got no response. They are obviously doing it pretty tough, and their lack of customer service isn't helping. I'm hoping they will get pulled up in the "charge for no service" movement that is afflicting large companies.
Robert Porte: The Sydney newspaper!
C. V: Shame on this paper for trying to out a celebrity over pride month with threats! Fire Andrew Hornery! What a disgrace of “journalist” rebel Wilson deserves more respect
Keith chan: Love SMH, love everything about it being opposite to the Telegraph.
Anthony Wyld: A once balanced journal (pre Nine take over) now veers towards an LNP protection racket, like any News Ltd outlet. The Guardian has been left to be the conscience of Australian print journalism.
Patel Gaurav: Fabulous 😀💞
Yifan: Rubbish.
Aniket Singh: Loved it
K S: its a race to the bottom...
Zephyr Trading: Fake news
Shavir Harrysunker: More times then less their info is wrong.
Srikanth Sombhatla: This is not about content. This is for someone who wants to subscribe to weekend newspaper. Their delivery system is broken and despite repeated complaints no action was taken. In short stay away from their newspaper subscription.
Gregory Shaw: Too much opinion writing, too much far-left bias, few quality writers anymore. They still have Ross Gittins, Peter Hartcher and Kate McClymont. No one else worth reading unless the article is a re-run from a foreign paper. A real shame.
Andrew Strunk: Really enjoy enjoy the paper, really disturbed by many of the reviews I read here. I feel the news and opinion pieces are more balanced than what I read or hear elsewhere and of course it will seem "left wing" in comparison to what else is generally on offer.
Nikolai: Used to be a reputable source of news now it's leftist trash.
Eaze: leftist trash
Stevo M: Post some pretty offensive left wing trash talk. I was a subscriber until one article offended so badly i pulled the subscription, only to get pestered by them to resubscribe. These guys are only good for fish and chip wrapping now...Oh, and they have a bunch of trolls who trash you on blogs.Better news reporting on the back of the dunny door
Stephen Hill: High quality journalism, with detailed features. Always able to rely on the SMH to tell us what is really going on in Sydney.
Ben Davies: If it's not about race, gender, class (or all 3 which is SMH's trifecta), then it will struggle to get prominence. Unless of course it's real estate. Not necessary unless you're just gagging for student newspaper politics. And Paul Sheehan deserved to be suspended not sacked. One positive - Kate McClymont is MVP - actually doing journalism.
Peter Dobson: The only Australian news site that is worth reading
marelle J.: An excellent independent newspaper needed more than ever in this era of alternative facts by the far right...

Australian Press Council: what do users think?
Darkashadows Dobermann: The Australian Press Council is a useless & incompetent organisation that either has no power over the press or has no intention of doing the right thing in the first place. It demonstrates that the Main Stream Media in Australia can say and do whatever it likes without having to actually provide any prove to support many of the lies they print. You raise a legitimate complaint with the Press Council against "The Australian" Newspaper, a complaint which shows that the majority of what was printed was false and fabricated and the Press Council just ignore the complaint.I can understand back in the Dark ages, when a defamatory article appeared in a newspaper it was not a major issue as the following day the newspaper was on the bottom of a bird cage, so no real biggy. But nowadays when a newspaper like "The Australian" prints these garbage articles, they are there forever, Google never forgets. What it does show, is that The Press Council and Newspapers like "The Australian" are unprofessional and have little ethics. A Barrister that I retained, a Defamation expert that was described as one of the best in Australia and one it turns out which was also retained by "The Australian" newspaper, stated to me "Having done a lot of work for journalists over the years, I can tell you that 50% of what they write is B.S. Factually incorrect embellished and the like."So if that is what a leading Defamation Barrister says about the journalists and newspapers that he respresents, explains why the Australian Press Council does such a useless job at protecting us from the lies that Newspapers like "The Australian" print."50% of what they write is B.S. Factually incorrect embellished and the like." Is that not disgusting, no wonder we can not trust the Press Council or the media.
George Boyd: I complained about articles where Richard Noone from the Express Advocate had clearly breached the code of practice by writing fiction and peddling it as news. The APC is a pathetic and weak organisation that is a token complaints handling medium for the media industry in my opinion. I think that it should be wound up and the media be regulated properly by a government agency with enforcement powers.
Allan Ritchie: i complained to them about article in the financial section of "the Australian" in conjunction with Canaccor Genuity where canaccord claimed to know of a takeover soon to be launched for the gold companies mentioned, there were a number of misleading things said but their claiming to know of this takeover was worst aspect of it They got back and merely said nobody was telling you to buy
Jia Fu: They refused to tell the complaint process progress and helped the complained organisations.
Jurien Jupixaz: This organisation has been hampered in it's efforts to regulate the print industry. As a result certain newspapers have committed grievous hate crimes in the name of free speech.
Fiona: Australian Press Council is set up and paid for by the private media companies and is heholden to them. It is FAR from independent and it is totally useless making a complaint to them about the big media companies.
jefrey brown: these people just support the company complained of

Belvoir St Theatre: what do users think?
Don Adams: Great play
Doc Wartz: Perfect
Lily axhet: A theater with an intimate atmosphere, the stage in the corner is an interesting way to give a good point of view to all the spectators. Good plays on display.
Julian Harris: Scenes from the Climate Era is a great show looking at climate change from many perspectives over a period spanning decades.
Peta Knight: Such wonderful work passes through this theatre every year! There's a great foyer and bar for conversation beforehand and during the interval. The seats are raked so that every spot has a good view. Booking is pretty seamless and I found staff to be open and honest with any issues or concerns around the production. Would highly recommend shows here for a great night out and it's a staple in our Australian theatre community.
Marge Hynoski: Into the Woods was a wonderful show. Clean medium-sized theatre. Sound and visibility are great. Toilets and bar.Accessibility issues.
Max Rayner: My first time here... loved the layout.. loved the production of "Into the Woods" and the staff were super friendly and helpful... a great experience all round..
Russell Newberry: Quality establishment I had no idea existed, but glad I now do
Stefano Bfrp: Into the Woods performed by incredibly talented actors, which all brilliantly conveyed the multi-layered complexity of Sondheim's legendery work
Cathrine Baird: Always good to catch a performance at the Belvoir. Nice staff and clean amenities and Into the Woods was superb.
Clive Dickens: Into the Woods was incredible
Sandra Hinchey: Bellvoir St theatre is great. 'Into the Woods' was fantastic. I loved the paired down version. The witch and baker's wife were outstanding and the rest of the cast did a good job. Enjoyed the matinee very much. A must see.
Karen Callesen: Fantastic Show Into The Woods ... truly an enjoyable evening
Ravinder Khangura: I had chance to visit this theatre for the play "Into the Woods"...nice place to visit.
Eva Crockett: Lovely, cosy theatre
KC Fonzi: Great space, wonderful productions, good value for money
Simone Danielle: The theatre is quite easy to find. Located it a relatively quiet street. We found street parking fairly easily, but did arrive very early to ensure we did. The seats are easy to access but not a comfortable sit when using them for 2hrs+. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Best to get your food and drinks before or after the show at another location - choices are pretty limited and too expensive for what's on offer.
Mondy Cheung: Amazing production of Into the Woods. Super funny!
Michael Radecki: Great experience. Fabulous night of theatre.
Laura Curran: Into the Woods was spectacular. Belvoir brings joy time after time 💛
Poppy Dartmouth: Lovely intimate and conveniently arranged for socialites

Pure Public Relations: what do users think?
Hey Zomi: The Pure PR team have been absolutely amazing to help our company Hey Zomi launch as a startup. We are a new brand with the latest innovation in Femtech and needed the right approach to help bring awareness and trust to our brand. Before signing up with Pure PR, we spoke with several other agencies and found that the angle to help us achieve our goal was the most bespoke, well strategised and flexible with Pure.We are so happy we decided to stretch our budget a little more than we intended, to work with the team- who by the way are exceptional people! We felt heard and the team translated our story and amplified the messages we wanted to deliver. Communication was fantastic and no query was ever left unanswered or was ever a problem. And here we are in our third month working with Pure PR and the coverage we are getting is what we were hoping for. Their updates and reports are regular and professional and everything is clearly evidenced and easy to track as we connect media coverage with our overall marketing strategy.I highly recommend Pure PR, and am very happy to continue working with them!Thank you Lucy, Bree, Zoe, Josie and of course Phoebe and Penelope! What an amazing team you are!
Aaron Hilton: Every now and then you engage a business that truly delivers and exceeds the commitments they have made. The Pure Public Relations team have been flexible, professional, supportive, highly effective and very friendly to work with and I cannot recommend them more highly. I look forward to working with them more in 2023 and feel very fortunate that we have found such a great outfit to work with. I wish there was a six stars button!
James Biddle: Pure PR are the best PR agency we have had the pleasure of working with.Lucy, Phoebe and the team are incredibly proactive, and have delivered some incredible press and media opportunities for us, including appearances on the Today show, 2GB, the entire Australian Newscorp network, Mumbrella and many more, in only 6 months of working together. This coverage has led to money-can’t-buy brand awareness, sales and discussion points with our existing client base. After years of trying to get decent press coverage, we have finally achieved this with Pure PR. If you or your business has a story to tell, you can trust Pure PR to get you the results. To cap it all off, they are also quality people. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
Ally Kelly: Pure Public Relations are a great team to work with. They are understanding of small business needs, and experienced in business growth phases. Phoebe and her team are extremely professional. I would recommend them to anyone requiring assistance with their PR!
Josie Violet: As both a journalist and content writer, I've seen Pure Public Relations capture the heart of their clients' stories again and again - even the less obviously newsworthy ones. They understand exactly what journalists need to get their job done quickly and efficiently, all while keeping their clients' best interests in mind.
Jarod Guthrie: Phoebe and the team at Pure Public Relations are a cut above the rest. Their professionalism and ability to act quickly and effectively is incredibly impressive. They're a results based PR agency which is exceptionally hard to come by.Highly recommended.
