State Library of New South Wales: what do users think?
Koen Ruymaekers: Very nice library, geared towards university students. Lots of work space.
Sarah Massey: Great library, with a view of the reading room from one of the galleries. Interesting place.
Jenny Clate: The library is housed in a beautiful building. You are able to wander around the floors. There are a number of galleries that contain works of art that you can explore. The library has toilets and on the lowest floor there is a shop.It is fully accessible to people who have a disability.
Seini Tuifuaivaha: rude indian security’s.
Bianca Dutra: Today, I went to the State Library of NSW, which left me in awe. It offers a serene atmosphere ideal for studying and reading. Also, for those with children, there is a designated room where they can read books and play. The historical architecture of the entire building is stunning, and it sits right across the Botanical Garden, adding to the list of beautiful places to visit in Sydney. I strongly suggest paying a visit there!
sandeep Sharma: “The Library has several shining stars on the staff who areeverything you would want - helpful, courteous, conscientiousand knowledgeable, with a love for books and learning…”Thank you State Library....
Rodney Ulyate: I could *live* in this place.
Pierre-Henry Soria: Great place to study and to visit! 👌
Pjay Shrestha: Great place to get some quiet time and do some study or work.
Alexandre De Raemaeker: Thanks for the quietness, the Ac plugs and ... being open on public holiday!
Estevão F.: Visita obrigatória em Sydney.Biblioteca grande e bonita. Se você precisa de um tempo de estudo, faça um favor a si mesmo e utilize esse estrutura. Não se arrependerá.Lugar perfeito para focar em assuntos de escola, universidade e até para negócios. Ela também tem exibições ao longo de todo ano.Must go place in Sydney.Really beautiful and huge library. If you need a time to study please used it. You won't regret. Nice place to focus on studying for school University, even your business. It also was several exhibitions through the year.
Joseph Yates: Don't waste your money. It's a nothing exhibition. The staff don't understand anything. I was very disappointed. Waste of time and money.
Maraia Miller: Great environment with friendly & attentive staff. There are man exhibitions throughout the year and the cafe is always operating, except for on public holidays.
吴某: Best place to study, very kind staff here. I recently visited this library and was blown away by the level of service provided by the staff, especially Zlatko. Zlatko went above and beyond to guide me through the library and provide useful information about the resources available. They even took the time to chat with me and make me feel welcome. Zlatko's kindness and expertise made my visit an exceptional experience. I highly recommend this library to anyone looking for a great resource and excellent service, especially if you have the chance to meet Zlatko. Thank you, Zlatko, for making my visit so enjoyable!
Sam N: I am not a conspiracy theorist by any stretch of the imagination. However, I am convinced that the barista is a closeted magician because that's the best latte I've had in a few years.
RandomStuff12345: It was an okay study environment. Albeit, do not go here if you are a student because you are prohibited to eat here. This is more like a tourist attraction than a study area. Go to Parramatta Library or elsewhere than here ong.
Jazzz Martinz: If you are going to be in Sydney and you have some free time, you should make it a point to stop by the State Library of New South Wales. It is a beautiful building with a rich history. It is stunning on the inside as well as the outside. The library portion in and of itself is a wonderful photographic subject that transports visitors to another era. As long as you maintain a low volume, you are free to roam around the interior and take photographs.A great learning place!!
sammy zaman: Absolutely love the library such a vibe. It's perfect for studying after work wish it stayed open till at least 9pm that would make such a huge difference
Ben Young: State library online resources are great. Visited the physical library today. Good experience overall. Better than previous visits.
Biz: 무료 전시가 있다
H d: A beautiful building with several free exhibitions that are open to the general public. Saw the banner for the history of medicine one that is on atm and wandered in and was pleasantly surprised. There is a fantastic gallery over several rooms, a map room, children's illustration exhibition... It was an unexpected treat.

Woollahra Library at Double Bay: what do users think?
Ms. H Johnson: I walked in last week on Monday and received the kindest smile and greeting. It’s usually the case at this location which— aside from the appreciated interior design & vibe and books— is why I return again and again. This past Monday, it was from Laura, an intern working at the library. She was so present and assisted me with my queries related to printing from my laptop. I can get very nervous when following instructions but having someone watch me and click too much and all over the place trying to be expedient but allowing the opposite. Laura was so kind and incredibly patient with me— she also came across as genuine— you can tell she really enjoys her job. Laura along with many others make the place feel like community. There’s nothing better, I’m so grateful. Love this library!!
DannyType1: I recently visited the Woollahra Library and was pleasantly surprised by the modern and welcoming atmosphere. The library had a great selection of books, magazines, and newspapers, as well as computers and other resources for research and study. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the library was clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the various events and programs offered, including author talks and children's story time. Overall, a great local resource for all ages. Highly recommend!
Matthew Wilson: I facilitated a workshop in the library technology room. The staff were courteous and professional. The space itself is amazing it was nice to see the library being used by a wide range of people. Highly recommended if you want to run a team workshop.
Jess Milton: Amazing space, a bit small (minimal desks, unless you count a small side table and sofa) and more of a casual work library as there's a lot of students and kids coming in and out. Also bring headphones as not a quiet library. Would love for it to stay open on a Saturday & Sunday until 8 - there's a huge need for a weekend work space and it makes it difficult to work/study without one
Donay Uysal: It is the best library I have ever seen in Australia! I am really appreciate whoever makes this place very reachable and peaceful 🙏
Luke Zhou: Well maintained library with indoor greenery. There are a variety of spaces from cubicle-style nooks, soft cushioned seats with tables, stools and a quiet study space on the top floor. The number of quiet spaces is limited so it is best to get in early on weekends.
Jack Carter: Had my first visit here last week (first visit to a library in around 10 years) and it was a very pleasant experience.I needed somewhere to get my head down and do some reporting for work after procrastinating for so long. Decided that a library would be a good start and glad I chose this one. It’s decorated with plenty of plants and is very clean. There are lots of different nooks and crannies to get comfy and get into a good book or do some work. You are left to do what you need to do but plenty of staff are available should you need them.Only thing for me was a couple of groups of young lads sat on the wooden bleachers being very loud whilst people were trying to work and it wasn’t monitored.Apart from that it’s lovely!
Leah: Friendly staff and my favourite place to read.
N Hook: This is genuinely the best library ever, I have been coming here for over a year now and I love it every time
Amanda Haack: They have alot of books here.
Hugh Signoriello: Friendly staff, beautifully furnished library with great amenities. No complaints
Pierre 170 Scarpa iuhhbvh: Great facilities
Christie Aucamp-Schutte: Really nice library with great staff and facilities but PLEASE, fix your internet! On a good day it's very slow, and with HSC and more people in the building it literally just wont work.
Elle Mhm: If you are looking for a quiet place to study I highly recommend this place! It has flexible and different types of furniture which gives you the freedom to choose whicheveryou feel is most comfortable!
Belle Lai: Beautiful library other than mike the librarian who abruptly stole our hsc materials. Absolutely not impressed with michael trying to father figure us. Do better Mike.
George Hawke: I really surprised at ppl and staff. They study hard and work hard until 8:30pm. I can’t believe that… : )) It’s very quiet After7:30 pm.
Eduardo: Wonderful atmosphere to work and study in. Professional library staff providing access to information.
Ronaldo Aquino: I've cut down streaming and went back to DVDs!
Ian Naughton: So grateful for the assistance of the Tech Connect team to get some things done that I couldn't do myself. Much appreciated
John Zhang: Nice modern library, lots of comfortable seatings for reading and study.
jolyn lee: Love it

Ultimo Library: what do users think?
Mark Butler: One of the worst libraries in the inner city. It's basically a sport complex with a section of books. This library has its priorities way out of whack. There is basically no where to sit and study - especially if you need a power outlet. They have prioritised a large staff area and book shelves over usable space. Most people don't borrow books any more but there is still a huge need for school and uni students, jobseekers and those who need a break from WFH to have good spaces with power.
Petra Williams: This is now only a browsing library. There are no desk to do work.
ultimobile: my local hang to read the Sunday papers for free, a nice comfortable cool/warm place to relax on a too hot/cold/rainy day.Others complain about kids crying but it is a community centre, not just for overseas students wanting quiet with their free internet.Old Chinese folk love the free Chinese newspapers and Chinese books here also for kids, and there is a kids play area where untrained kids tend to make too much noise sometimes - until they are told. A good community centre. Also free computers with free access to Ancestry for family history research.
Edgar Ortiz Sedeño: Amazing place so cool
Dandoun Hoods: Great selection of books, outdoor area for recreational activities as well
E L: theres kids crying all the time, parents were having their parental group gathering with their kids in library,i thought library is supposed to be quiet
Djidji: Nice small community center for people living in the vicinity, with some magazine, newspaper and small books collection. Not a place for traveler stop by, good for people who looking for a space to to some activity like ping pong or volley, because its attached to ultimo community center.
Karen Wong: Ultimo Library is my local library and has one of the widest selection of Childrens' books, DVDs and music CDs I have come across in Sydney. They have great activities for children and Mandarin-speaking storytime which I thought was fabulous. The librarians there are also very knowledgeable and helpful.
陳YIHE: Good environment and quiet for study. There is a piano free for playing downstairs!
