J C: I think others have posted similar - spooked and didn’t join or joined and got ripped off. The whole thing comes across as a total scam.There’s no way I’d provide medical records over the phone, especially when the operator doesn’t even sound like she’s in Australia - who knows we’re your private information might end up!Steer clear IMHO.
Coralie Black: BUYER BEWARE....I have been with the Menopause Centre for years. Before you sign up with this place, please be aware that you are paying for a program, not medication. I had my medication halved due to finance, (its extremely expensive) and I was charged the same. When i called them, they said that no matter what, the program price never changes, no matter what you get. Understand what you are getting into, because believe me, they will not inform you! You will continue to get charged if you dont ask the questions. Please go to you own GP and ask for the same medication in a prescription, you will save $190.00. The medication is a fraction of the cost of the program. If you are like me and dont need the appts for Natropathy, weight loss etc, then do NOT bother with this program, just go to your own GP! I have wasted so much money and I'm ashamed of myself for not asking enough questions.
Jo Jo: Terrible I spent thousands of dollars with them & regularly it was either never dispensed on time, wrong somehow, labeled incorrectly or the last few batches unreadable to determine what dosage to take. Symptoms got worse so they continued to just up the dosage based on programs consults telling Doctors what should be done. Unless of course I could afford to go up a level, does that mean I actually get labels on the medication?

S: Scheduled a call at a specific time then called 7 minutes early and let the phone ring only for a few seconds before hanging up. They left a mumbling voice message asking me to call back. When I did I sat on hold for ages before I hung up.They asked for all my medical info which was unsettling when I hadn't even spoken to anyone to get a sense of what they were all about.Also the only calls I did get from admin people seemed to come from offshore.I don't think this organisation is worth investing any time or energy. You're better off with your GP.

tina marmo: Totally peed off with AMC. I have been their customer for over ten years but until recently have been very disappointed. For years I called when I needed more of my prescription, within a 10 day timing. Not a problem and the amount was $217 for two months. Then they persuaded me to go on direct debit. From then on they were taking my money out three weeks before my next batch was due then at Christmas they took it out two weeks after the last delivery when I wasn't due till late January. I then asked for the money to be returned, which they did and they said I would have to pay an extra $40 a payment if I wanted not to have direct debit.I have been off the program since before Christmas now and am investigating other alternatives, which there are many now and a lot cheaper. Dodgy to say the least.
Jessa Mae: These people are incredibly dodgy like other reviewers have mentioned. They ask for a lot of personal information on the phone, asking for passwords and secret questions when I just wanted to see a doctor, I got spooked and called it all off.The representative didn't even seem like they're in Australia which was wierd. She kept calling me ma'am like, who in Australia would call you ma'am all the time. Extremely dodgy. Do not engage.
Pyry Lover: After the tele 'consult' I was bombarded with emails and phone calls from this lot trying to get $$ out of me. When I decided to give them a try, they sent me a CONTRACT to sign so that even if I decided to not continue I would still have to PAY! As soon as I informed them I wasn't signing a contract - CRICKETS! Harassment 101 and then dropped when not an easy stream of money for nothing! $70+ per fortnight for meds?? Keep in mind they prescribe hormone treatment without a FBC being ordered first, so HOW do they know what hormone levels you are at??????? DODGY!

Don’t be misled by the AMC website to think that AMC is offering anything different from yr GP or specialist by calling their treatment a programme. They are just prescribing HRTs and judging from comments from others on selling these medications to you with a markup on price. Websites makes the process sound like a unique tailored experience - misleading.
Tanya Park: Extortion - $300 to sign up, once money received - medication worth $50 sent and then zero contact. Funds @ $300 are automatically deducted from your account monthly. If you are lucky enough to get hold of someone and you explain that they have not provided what you have paid for - you are asked if you are feeling anxious and stressed...avoid at all costs

Kate Starick: Started well, and promised a high level of service and support which sounded really great. Unfortunately there were problems with delivery of medication, appointments and contact with my GP, all of which was quite stressful

Tanya Preston: Amc saved my life. I had Hot flushes every 20mins where it poured down my back around the clock for 2 yrs. Gp was useless. Prescription drugs did not really help. Back and neck pain, plantar fasciitis massive weight gain and skin temp was 38 to 40 degrees. They tweaked the dosage til all my symptoms went away. Excellent care! FOR $97 a mth. Highly recommend.

I was always able to claim the pharmaceuticals on my health fund, then suddenly, not available any more with a really lame excuse without notification. This was not the contract of sale that I agreed with when I commenced. This is not how the program was sold to me. I ask Why? Has anyone else suffered the same, where the receipts cannot identify your cost as a pharmaceutical item. I will also mention my girlfriends script came from another pharmacy and they left the price on the bottles.!!!! There is something more amiss here......
Christina Wallace: There is no customer service. Yes we all know they had issues with the compounding pharmacy, but no emails or phone calls were responded too. Had no medication for 4 weeks with no idea what was going on. Told I would have a month gratis and another month waived then still charged. Pathetic when you have been with them for years. Shame there isn't another company offering this treatment program

Tashi Grey: This is the worst experience of health care I have ever encountered. I have submitted a formal complaint to the Health Care Complaints Commission. Do not go to this clinic. Treatment was abysmal and traumatic. I have complained directly to the clinic but have heard no response for months even after continuously following up.I cannot express enough how awful this experience was.
Claire: I went to Dr Joyce Wu who was the worst gyno I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to a lot of them. She suggested a mirena for undiagnosed endometriosis. Despite being very clear that I had a history with trauma and anxiety she decided to try insert the mirena for me completely un-sedated at my first ever Gynaecology appointment. She completely missed my pelvic floor problem which considering this clinic specialises in endometriosis is just unacceptable. This caused me to faint and Dr Wu called in my mother to help me as she had no idea how to react or what to do. I tried to get the mirena inserted 2 more times only succeeding on the 3rd attempt once I was under anaesthetic. Despite my complaints about the amount of pain I was in she insisted I keep the mirena. After 6 months my life devolved into being completely unable to leave my bed as I was in so much pain. Fed up I had the mirena taken out and an exploratory surgery where I was diagnosed with Endometriosis. It’s been 2 years and I’m still unable to have intercourse. After seeing Joyce I’ve had secondary vaginismus, vulvodynia and chronic pelvic pain due to her ineptitude. Do not go to this doctor.
KVDBF 009: Do not let this doctor treat your endometriosis. I knew more about the condition and treatments than he did. What a waste of money, do yourself a favour and see anyone else.

I’m sorry that I don’t remember my other nurses names but they were all amazing. It was my first time going under and the sedation nurse was so kind and helped to put me at ease with my nerves. The anaesthesiologist (German Doctor) was very kind and happy and put me into the most beautiful sleep which made my procedure pain free and quick! Toby Pettigrew: We deserved better treatment than we got, and I can't recommend OMNI to anyone who has ever been late to an appointment. Pre-appointment reminders said to call if we were running late, however they didn't answer the phone multiple times in the lead up to the appointment. Our lateness over ten minutes resulted in OMNI cancelling the appointment, with no flexibility, kindness or compassion.
Kathrin Rac: Had a pelvic ultrasound and had a wonderful first time experience.Radiographer discussed findings throughout, not rushed and made me feel at ease, even gave recommendations for specialists. Recommend to patients. Thank you for your service

TiramiJune Isuriyakornthep: This week I went for a scan to see the baby's growth and wellbeingIt was a very terrible experience. what i got It's not worth the $340. Ultrasound images acquired,I’ve just got12 pictures, no complimentary images on usb provided as they advertised,sonographer didn’t captures the organs’s picture, service here is very different from a private hospital in the crows nest, They’re given me almost 60 pictures,When I did 12 weeks nuchal scan and up to 100 pictures when I did 21 weeks morphology scan.I waited to see the growth and to see the baby’s face for the latest scan but it made me very disappointed.
Kylie: For something that’s often not pleasant- the lady took her time, nothing was rushed ( which hurt less) and I really appreciated the solid block out curtain so no one could accidentally walk in & little things like lights dimmed & tv screen in front so you could learn about your own body were positives too. I have found this to be the best experience of what can be a confronting procedure. I think even the way the staff member just was quite happy to chat briefly at the beginning to calm nerves down - I found the location discreet but comfortable (& not entirely sterile clinically blank which was nice to wait in ) . Thanks Omni for taking extreme care & acknowledging it can be painful esp for endo patients.

Loueen: I just wanted to say thank you for the most incredible experience I've had in 30 years of having internal ultra sounds. I missed the appointment due to getting lost but the receptionist were wonderful in rescheduling on the same day, very very grateful. The receptionist was respectful and the relaxed atmosphere calmed my nerves. The appointment itself nearly made me nearly cry out of relief of finally feeling like I was being listened to. To be treated with respect and to have things explained to me during the ultrasound was very helpful. After being dismissed for many years of pain , to finally have some answers feels life changing in itself. Thank you so much for providing a safe , informative and helpful service to women.

The sonographer I had, I won’t say names were Incredibly rude, made me so incredibly uncomfortable, and considering I was having an internal ultrasound done you want someone who makes you feel comfortable. The sonographer had attitude, no bedside manners, wouldn’t answer questions and when she would answer she would be ridiculously rude and come across incredibly arrogant. Terrible terrible experience.

Marina Wu: One of the best patient experiences that I've had in Omni St Leonards. I've been there a couple of times already, the sonographers there like Jilian and Lisa, have excellent bedside manners and very patient, empathetic and gentle.The location of the clinic is also very convenient. The clinic itself has a very modern, clean and comfortable look.I will definitely go back there in the future if I need to, and highly recommend anyone else to go there for any ultrasound scans.

She was obviously irritated by this and proceeded to give me little to no further information.Not to mention I am young and my first experience at a clinic like this, so not a welcome one from her.I just feel these sort of sometimes uncomfortable and scary medical environments don’t need to be meet with short fuses from FOH staff.She was also a pain when trying to book 2 weeks earlier, incredibly rude and impatient. Probably won’t return as FOH was so off putting.The other receptionist was lovely tho 🙂
