Tuo Sheng Chen: I arrived 8am on the 6th Jan 2021, going in wanting to get a quote on timing chain and job involved around changing. Offered him my vin he said not required and quoted me $5000 to $10000 off the bat. Mercedes only quoted me $3000 for the job! Also stated he does these quoted every day and all Mercedes have this problem. I understand he might not want to work there and getting rid of his customer as soon as possible. I run my lawfirms for many years and if i had that kind of altitudes towards my clients i would of closed down a long time ago! Dont know how they are still trading. Couldnt even bother to get a propper quote for me, only heard by his colleges then he was trying to explain himself, what a joke! If this review was deleted i will make sure i will get my staff and all my clients to leave one until this is resolved by management!

john he: The first time I bought a Mercedes-Benz car, I encountered poor product quality and after-sales service. I bought a GLB35 through the salesman William on March 28. After using it for two weeks, I found that a small piece of coating on the wheel was scratched and damaged. There is complete varnish coverage, which is obvious that the car was produced before leaving the factory. I reported to Wiliam and asked for repairs, but Wiliam said that the company’s approval is required for repairs. I waited until June 2 to get a notification from Wiliam that the company did not approve the repairs, and The reason for the disapproval was not explained to me, so the product quality and after-sales service are very disappointing!

Anthony Tran: Purchased a used C250 from them. Traveled less than 3000km before finding out there is a major failure costing $5200 in repairs. Spoke to the dealer, and they said it's not their problem. They advised to get gold warranty. Warranty company said it's not covered under the warranty and told me to go back to dealership as it was a recent purchase. I note there are other reviews who mention similar issues when purchasing their used vehicles. Beware and avoid these guys, I spent months chasing them for basics like logbook servicing which received no response or promises of a reply and never getting one. They promised that when buying a car from them, that no major servicing or repairs were needed as vehicle passed their inspection. Clearly that is not the case. This is a clear denial of Consumer Guarantees. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.Edited to address their terrible response:1. I did not mention dealership warranties because I am well aware they do not apply. I am speaking about CONSUMER GUARANTEES which last even beyond warranties.2. The warranty purchased or the upgrade does not include the parts required to fix as they are exceptions.3. You claim you did not guarantee repair requirements. However during the sales pitch from your team, my friend and I was advised that the vehicle is immaculate despite missing log book details, and that your 120 point servicing checked everything and that there will not be any large repairs/maintenance costs.4. Kindly explain why a engine leaking oil from 5 different points despite travelling under a total of 69,000km, (about 2.900km) under my ownership, not meet a major failure. The engine could be severely damaged, and still you peddled the car as immaculate. The promises made during a sale of a vehicle are express warranties and must be kept, which you clearly have not.5. Your staff advertised the car, claiming your 120 point servicing has checked everything, however another mechanic looking at the car, instantly identified old parts that need replacing due to vehicle's age. How was that missed but an authorised mecerdes dealership?6. Your team responded to 1 email claiming no responsibility, but has failed to explain how under Australian Consumer Law, the vehicle is safe, durable, and fit for purpose. A vehicle which has multiple oil leaks is a clear hazard.7. As advised everyone steer clear from these guys. As with other reviews, these guys will put the blame on you and never admit any responsibility at all.

Amy Joung: THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!We purchased a second-hand Mercedes Benz AMG last year, and the left HS indicator started having an issue after 1-2 months. It took them 6months to fix the issue, and during the process, we got advice from different mechanics, they told us the car might have been an accident.After 2 months, the left HS indicator had the same issue, and then the headlight stopped working. It took them a few months to fix it again.This year, the same issue incurred, they FINALLY decided to replace the whole left HS headlight and ordered the parts from German, which took 4months (They initially told us 4 weeks, 6 weeks after, we followed them up, and they told us to wait for another month. They never followed up with us (always waited until we called up).Today, we dropped the car off to replace the left HS headlight/indicator (of course they didn't lend us the courtesy car), and now they told us they need to replace the right HS headlight/ indicator (they need to order the parts from German again, which could be another 4-6 months)The service is ridiculous, they could have replaced the whole headlight in the first place instead, they choose to fix it little by little to save the cost. Every time we tried to complain they always blame the Mercedes manufacturer, but at least they can book us a courtesy car while we are waiting for FOUR MONTH (they said it's all booked out) or some other services to make it up.Maybe you can purchase a car from them, but if your car has an issue, NEVER EXPECT THEM TO FIX PROPERLY AT ONCE.It took us a whole year going back and forth with them, and it's still going on.Service:General repairs maintenance

SARA YOUSSEFINIA: We bought a mercedes certified pre owned car about 2 months ago with 10000 km on it and we have had many issues with the car from the day first of picking up the car. We spent 3 days on castle hill and Sanderson dealership to repair the issues and waited 35 days to get the SOS module from overseas. One of the days when I was at dealership to do some repairs I requested to see service manager several times but he refused to see me even for 2 minuets while he was free. The service team was referring us back to sale team to ask the questions about the car issues. I was waiting the sale manager for several weeks to explain why the car has been delivered with these issues before the issues get fixed. He called and related the issues to my bad luck!! and he continued with what I am looking for with asking the questions about the issues!! I had a very bad experience with Mercedes in the last couple of months after buying this car.

They've called up and told me that brake pads needed to be replaced. I've agreed, however, the squealing remained post instalment of new brake pads. In 2022, I brought my car in for a 2nd service. Same story - the salesman from service department called up and told me that brake pads needed to be changed as they were "90%" worn off. I rejected this time. It's been 2 months since this service and no warning sign on my dashboard that brake pad needs replacement.

Lucia: I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of professionalism that this company has shown through the time that I sent my car there. They first started by saying there was nothing wrong with my car. Then proceeded to tell me there is a problem with the turbo, and keep in mind I had to call them at least 3 times a week and they would say they haven’t checked my car yet and would return my call. Which they never did and I had to keep calling them first just so they can hang up on me immediately. I would never recommend this place to anyone and unfortunately got recommended this place by a friend of mine who obviously didn’t know what he was talking about. I am truly appalled! Also I have yet to receive a quote or anything by them! Absolutely disgusted. Please save your time and money

Martin Walsh: On a recent service I needed a serpentine belt for my vintage Mercedes w124. I went to “ShityCheap” and of course the belt I had to order & wait for was incorrect. So I popped into the real professionals at SWEA and got the correct belt which was much better quality, cheaper and in stock. The staff at SWEA are knowledgeable, friendly and fast. Anita Wong: Seeing other great reviews, maybe we are unlucky and served by the wrong salesperson T. Got promised with the gifts and at the end the New Manager disapprove giving out too many gifts. You know it’s not about the gifts, it’s about the promise. And this salesperson T is not professional at all… and I feel like he didn’t have much idea with the car we’ve bought..car boot lining placed the other way round and just forced it in.. we only found out till we got home.. took forever to get that app registered… We totally do not have trust in this dealership anymore. But unfortunately still have to deal with them one last time to get the dash cam installed which we order about 6 weeks ago (got the car 4 weeks ago) and still not sure when can we get it installed. What a joke for such a big dealership.We had another Mercedes bought from Rushcutters Bay dealership before, they are so much better!!!! We only came here because it’s closer to home. Definitely will not come back to upgrade our car.

Danny Graham: I wish to express my disappointment at the service quality from Mercedes Mosman. I checked the car in for its annual service on 25 October 2022 at 7:30am. I received a call a 11am advising that there was a problem with the rear muffler clamp it was leaking and that the car would have to remain overnight as the muffler sleeve clamp had to come from Melbourne and would be delivered on 26/10/22. I reluctantly agreed to leave the car until the Wednesday. I do not understand why Mercedes Sydney does not hold spare parts in the Sydney Metro area.On the 26/10/22 I contacted Mercedes at 1:30pm as I had not received any update on the availability of my car. They said the car would be available at 2:15 pm. I arrived at 2pm ready to collect the car but was advised that it was still with the maintenance crew, and I should wait. In the meantime, the advisor issued me the invoice and I paid with my credit card. While waiting for the car I checked the invoice and found that I had been charged twice for three items totalling about $50. I pointed this out to the advisor who checked and agreed the amount invoiced was incorrect. She went to her supervisor and returned saying they could not issue a credit to my card, the best they could do is to give me $50 off my next service. In the meantime, it had ticked over 3pm and the car was still not available, I did not get the car until 3:15pm. I missed a business appointment because of the peak hour traffic. I effectively lost one day use of my car because of the lack of spares in Sydney.

Naji Hassoun: Terrible service.Had the car for about 10 days to diagnose a weird sound. Nothing wrong mechanically they said. Referred me to a body repairer to fix the problem. Body repairer could not found any problem with the car!Eventually a local mechanic down the road found a broken tail shaft in the car, replaced it and fixed it in less than 2 hours.Extremely rude supervisors when problem was reported to them.

Woody Luechai: I put my car in service yesterday and get a loan car from this dealer which I booked a month ahead. I was surprised when dealer called me after 4 hours and asked to get the loan car back as the car has been sold. He also said that they finished my car already. It was obvious they rushed my car to finish quicker than normally and because of that they left the car messy and not cleaned properly.But the biggest problem is that they left 2 marks on my car!!!This is the first time I came to this dealer as they are close to my house but I did not actually buy the car from here. I had very bad first impression since I have booked. I have called several times before due date and wanted to ask for the service advisor and left the message with the reception, but I never got a call back at all. What the surprise for the big brand like Mercedes Benz or AMG. This is not FIVE STAR service!It is one in the life time BAD experience for people who love and care for their car like I do. Many of Car Enthusiast will be shocked when they see this review! I have been threaten by one of the service advisor staff named Perry when I have discussed marks on my car.He said to me. "We look after millions worth of cars here. Why are we gonna do things like that on your car. We do not care about your car here. We are not gonna do anything about your car damage. You can talk to me anytime but we wont do anything." That means my car is shift box here then. How can he said things like this to a customer. He was rude, aggressive and did not listen to me at all.How did this employee made such a bad customer service for this great company?Very disappointed! Not coming back!

Ultan Mooney: I dropped by the AMG Sydney showroom yesterday. Two observations.1. very disappointing AMG range on display. Several CLA's, one E63S, one C63S 4 door - no coupe , a pre loved GTS and some other randoms... Expected to be wowed by some exceptional vehicles on display but it was a disappointing range - less impressive than many MB dealerships have to be honest . More wow factor at Parramatta or Alexandria or G Brothers2. rude/disinterested staff. I spent at least 15 minutes walking around the lower floor and upstairs, browsing at vehicles. Wasn't approached by anyone... and there were no other customers in the dealership !!! Two sales guys were upstairs chatting about their new phones while I did two laps of the upper floor. If I am being honest, I wasn't there to buy a car yesterday as I already own a 63S coupe, so they didn't lose a vehicle sale by failing to approach me . However, I was in the market for a significant number of AMG accessories. Umbrellas, caps, shirts, coffee mugs etc.... They had a very small number of items on display downstairs, so after standing there for a couple of minutes hoping someone might ask if I needed help, I eventually approached reception where a salesman was sitting typing , and asked if the small number of items they had on display was the extent of what I could look at. Like the guys upstairs, he seemingly couldn't have been less interested. He didn't even lift his head from his computer screen and answered "yep" , then kept typing.So that was my experience of this dealership. Reading other reviews, it seems their service department is top notch - but their sales guys don't seem to have any manners whatsoever. Given there are multiple other MB dealerships around Sydney - including one just up the road at Alexandria - where range is bigger and service is far superior... I don't know how these guys get any business. I won't be giving them any.
Kai L: Took the C63S to AMG Sydney to check the problem with the Start-Stop not working. Great to have Perry, Service Advisor, again to look after my queries and handling the check in of my car again. Knowing there may be a shortage of replacement parts due to the impact of COVID 19, AMG Sydney managed to get the auxiliary battery from another dealer instead of the need for me to go back again. Well done Perry and AMG Sydney!
Robert Di Carlo: Had an awful experience with Domenic (Service Manager) from AMG Sydney. Our less than 3 year old GLC43 AMG has been through 3 sets of tyres in 14,000kms. Yes, you read correctly that's 6,000kms out of each set. We made contact with Domenic, he asked us to bring the car in and discuss our tyre skipping/crabbing issue in further detail and whether he could provide some assistance in creating a case to submit to Mercedes-Benz Australia. He was extremely unhelpful, disinterested, arrogant and dismissive over the entire situation. After making contact with someone from Head Office, he made note that he couldn't help me further, I replied if you are not going to help and waste my time, I will have to take this further. It appears that after-sales customer service and support is not of high priority when you buy a Mercedes-Benz.

Was getting a part for my friend who called up and confirmed in the morning, got to the store the Parts Manager without checking with his team about the call and told me no one has asked for parts and asked me to go to another dealer.I said I’ve a voucher to use he said where’s the voucher, I asked if he needs a physical one he said yes but another store can accept the email and print it for me.Not helpful and friendly at all, and I’m 100% sure that’s the shop my friend talked to. If you’ve a choice, go to another Merc dealership.

Mel: Exceptional Customer Service from Perry the Service Manager. Diagnosed what was wrong with my car after the unreliable Mercedes Parramatta failed to do so. Perry ran few more test and services at no charge which goes to show his service is second to none. Cant recommend him highly enough.
Tee Fourie: Fantastic service from the team, well done. Very happy with my purchase. That was one year ago and even today, the prompt service from Perry is second to none when you need a hand.

Made an appointment to send driver to western suburbs, pick up my car, drop off loan car and took my car back to Mona Vale to correct the issue.Excellent customer service and I really appreciate the follow up support. Businesses dont always get things right but should be measured on how they correct them and in this instance G Brothers was first class.

Also gave me the undermined treatment during the purchase process and at a point mentioned he will cancel the transaction because I asked for further clarification and explanation to options in the purchase process.I recommend you do not deal with Rex as he does not understand the basic customer relationship, quick to undermine customer rather than provide options to select from.I was charged two times for the initial deposit and incurred a refundable fee that is yet to be refunded. When I escalated the issue to Rex he replied that he has the right to the charges and did not provide further assistance.Jacob was amazing and because of him I went ahead to purchase the car.

Keith L: Worst customer service. My car was repaired on Thursday and two days later the same issue happened again. Engine light is on and count down is on so my situation is very urgent and there’s no available time for me to book in an urgent repair in one week. So I have to go to another dealer. Still waiting someone to call me back on the issue. It’s been three days. Also they don’t have enough people serving the customers. I was told to wait 30 min to get a coffee or just go. No loan cars available. Car park is so packed. Will never go back again.

Jessica Gerges: Absolute worst customer service in the service department. Quick to take your money for a service but ignore you when you need a part ordered in under warranty. Still waiting to hear back on the part that would take a ‘couple of days’ to come in. Sent a follow up email and got ignored. It’s been 6 weeks. Extremely frustrating. The staff in the service department are also extremely hostile. I won’t be returning for a service or purchase.
