Candelaria - Sydney: what do users think?
James Grant: Great little Latin club. Fantastic music, great service. Security is firm but fair (have cash and id ready to go). Atmosphere is intimate but not stifling. Would recommend.
shamira prasad: I went Saturday night. Security did not let me enter the club without any reason. The person who was in security was Asian. He spoke to me very rudely. Security is very racism.
Yeonjin kim: 시드니 최고의 춤신춤왕들춤을 좋아하면 추천드리는 곳입니다!좁지만 그래서 재밌는 곳!
Dilan Franza: Great place for latin music
Sree Hospitality &Travel blog: Great vibe . If you looking for Latin music for weekend, here is the right place but you have pay cash as entrance fee.
Douglas Santos: From the quick response and assistance with pre-design process to the friendly installation team working on our shop windows frosting with logo as well as the LED illuminated 3D signage installed at the front counter Platinum Signs service delivery has been impeccable and of high standards.
Hanny R.: Rude service. Way overpriced. The person at the door took $30 for my partner’s entry and smiling just said they didn’t have the cash because it was too early. I was so excited about visiting this place but totally unworthy with the lack of professionalism, customer service and so much greediness that they couldn’t fake it. Shame on you guys letting Colombians down with this sort of behaviour so unprofessional. You wouldn’t ever find this in an Aussie place. Good luck with that. Don’t visit it. Waste of time. Also, “the Naughty corner” photo you find in these reviews is from Verandah, the place at the front.
Yennydir Alejandra Castillo Cadena: All good , good music but the prices are a lot of expensive than before ! I understand that for many reasons everything it’s expensive but not fair to much for the enter and to much for the drinks , I bought a couple drinks and to much water and nothing alcohol ! But it’s ok good environment !
Juan LB: Very nice club, people and music but the tall bodyguard (the one in his 40s) got really aggressive. Please don’t treat people like that..
Daniela Parra: Any updates on when are you opening?
Wijke Ellis: Never have to ask me twice to spend my night dancing to reggaeton. Everyone has an incredible vibe to them , so many happy faces and great vibes..
leidy palacios: The place is really nice just maybe needs more chairs, but if you want Colombian party definitely go there!
Estefanía Mantas: The place is good. If you are looking for a place where they play latin music Candelaria is your choice.
Cleide Soares: Amei ótimo lugar,
AGUSTINA NIETO: Mi lugar en el mundo, la música buenisima, la gente toda la onda. Muy recomendable!
soluciones Informaticas Web: Super
danilo benitez: Fun place
Camilo Vargas: Good music
Silvia Moran: I anjoy it so much
Moustafa Iesha Yasser: Amazing Latino music, the only downside is the lack of ventilation. Need more fans or some air-conditioning. At times it can feel like a sauna
Mr Smith: Great Latin music, friendly vibe, courteous and attentive staff. Would highly recommend a visit with good company and sporting a pair of dancing shoes...fireball 🎶🔥

Latin Dance Australia: what do users think?
Tamara B: I recently started attending salsa and bachata classes at LDA and I must say it is an incredible experience. The instructors are all knowledgeable, patient, and made learning salsa and bachata so much fun.The classes are all very well-structured and catered to all levels, from beginners to advanced dancers. The environment is very welcoming and friendly, which made it easy to connect with other students and build a sense of community. What impressed me the most is the attention to detail that the instructors gave to each student. They make sure that everyone had a solid understanding of the fundamentals before moving onto more complex moves. Addittionally, the instructors are very approachable and always willing to help and answer any questions.Overall, I would highly recommend Latin Dance Australia for anyone who wants to learn salsa or improve their dancing skills. It's a fantastic school with amazing instructors and a welcoming community.
Peter Hocking: I've been to a few schools and this one has the best technique. Fun classes, good vibe, caring teachers who give great instruction. My dancing has improved so much at this school.
Emma Hernandez: Highly recommend this school to all level dancers! Love the amazing Cuban salsa classes here!
Jimmy Hazelwood: Excellent customer service!!
Giulia: I have been a member at Latin Motion, Tropical Soul and now at LDA. I believe LDA is the best latin dance school in Sydney, especially for salsa! My favourite class is salsa on Tuesday with Uly and Georgie, both teachers are extremely good, nice and professional! Their classes are a lot of fun and my salsa has improved a lot since joining their classes!I recently joined Cali salsa on Friday with Sergio, which is also great fun, lots of movement!I hope to see the stretching class with Matilde back on Friday, it was very good to relax and stretch. The bachata teachers on Wednesday are very friendly and professional, but unfortunately I believe there is too much theory and talking in their classes and not enough dance time...also the bachata moves are too advanced for the level of the class. I would suggest teaching some easier moves that people can actually use on the dance floor.I would greatly recommend LDA to anyone thinking to join!
Carina G. Beza: Great place to learn Latin dancing. Competent teachers who break down steps for beginners and then progress onwards, giving tips along the way. Such a fun experience and energizing too.
Steven: I have been a student for over two years now but how I got here is interesting...I am Latino by decent but my dancing was limited to what I now call the “elephant shuffle” (you know, wobbling side to side?). I was embarrassed and never wanted to admit I didn’t know how. Then I met Nestor (one of the owners) at my aunt’s wedding where he and the amazing teachers came to dance and I was blown away by how beautiful it looked. At the time I didn’t have the courage then to ask him how he learned. Fast-forward a few months and again I see Nestor. This time at a club and it felt like fate was pushing me to learn so I downed a beer and walked up to him after his show. I asked where he learned and I discovered he was one of the owners at a dance school.. and I signed up there and then and it was one of the best (drunk) decisions I ever made. After about 2 weeks of going to Salsa classes and Bachata classes, I was already hitting places to social dance. Not only did my teachers teach me to dance but they taught me to enjoy myself and not be afraid. I would have a blast just doing the basics and I was blown away by how many people thought I must have been a professional - I definitely am not... there’s a lot to learn but the basic steps can sure make you look amazing from the get go.As someone who had trouble with gym discipline, dancing was the complete opposite. I was there every Salsa and Bachata classes after work because it was so fun and addicting. I also tried Kizomba but it felt too invasive for me and it was hard to practice, maybe I’ll pick it up again later on.Dancing has changed my life. I hear music differently, I’ve met and made friends with so many people and my personality has shifted to be more fun and energetic. I can’t thank the team at Latin Dance Australia enough for their profound positive effect on my life. It’s not just a school, it really does feel like a family.Thank you LDA. Seriously!

Basma Atia: One of the best things I have done for my self last year is joining this school and community. If you never danced in your life this place is for you and if you are a social dancer or a professional this place is also for you.
Pandora Le Tran: BEST LATIN DANCE SCHOOL IN SYDNEY!
Mary Mazzu: ok
Kevin Tsai (kevotsai.com): When you need a pick me up and learn a skill that you can take anywhere worldwide, pay them a visit. You might end up staying and doing much more 😋You'll learn the right way especially with Nestor, he motivates you and cares about your growth. It's not just about learning. As a bonus, when I was the most active here I was very fit!
Jasmine Price: If you haven't already, do yourself a favour and sign up for a class at LDA. Honestly the best vibe and friendly staff. Classes are always enjoyable and the teachers are exceptional dancers to learn from. Love it here :)

Havana Dance Academy: what do users think?
María Laura García Roko: The best Cuban Salsa school in Australia
Johanna Moon: I look forward to coming to my classes with Havana Dance so much! I am in beginning stages of learning but it is so much fun. I just love the instructors, they are all so passionate about the dance and Cuban culture. Fraudy has an infectious personality. He is so patient, and his passion for the culture and all dance styles is contagious. He probably doesn’t remember but years ago, I joined an intermediate class thinking I knew it all because I’d done a few LA style classes. Fraudy doesn’t miss a beat though (literally) and he recommended I start at the beginning foundations instead. Initially my ego was a bit bruised, but I understood. I really wanted to learn and was disappointed that an injury kept me from coming back. But now I’m back, (yep, started at beginners) and I’m glad that he talks about the importance of foundations so much. I'm grateful for his attention to detail and the little things, because there is nothing better, even in the early stages, than being able to dance on the floor socially. I just can’t wipe the smile off my face!
Louisa Ferranda: I’ve been coming to Havana Dance school for 2 years now. Fraudy and Alfredo are both excellent teachers and I can’t speak more highly of them. The community here at Havana is great and I’ve developed numerous friendships since coming! ☺️
Rhys Lawson: Have been coming to this dance school for almost 3 years now and I continue to have a great time and improve every week. Thanks Havana Dance
Roberto Scattini: I started my first steps in Cuban salsa a few years ago under others instructions who did their best to get me dancing, but it wasn't until I met Fraudy that finally began to progress. Havana Dance is the school of choice if your wish is to learn authentic Cuban salsa and also other dancing styles from Cuba. Fraudy's knowledge and experience is a bonus for all the students and classes are fun and relaxed.
Hamish Fernando: Fraudy, Sunay and the Havana dance academy took me from being a decent salsa dancer (although I thought I was good), to someone who now actually gets asked to dance, to someone who is confident to dance with anyone, in front of anyone. I'm far from the best, but have made amazing progress in 6 months. If you want to be running up skill levels fast, this is not for you. The first class I went to, I thought I knew enough or was good enough to be in one of the higher levels. Fraudy realised that there were ever-so subtle mistakes I was making, and recommended I start from scratch. I put my ego aside and did as he asked. When I started from foundation, I realised how even the simplest mistakes I made affected me as a dancer. This is not like any other dance class, Fraudy is very much of a perfectionist and obsessed with mastering fundamentals. So he will be absolutely focused on perfecting your base, and THAT is what has helped me improve so fast. That may mean you don't learn 5 patterns a day, but whatever you do learn, you will definitely master. And with a solid foundation, it's amazing how easy everything else gets!I can guarantee that, if you are willing to learn, this dance school will take you to great heights in your salsa journey. If however you want to just learn turn patterns at random everyday with little focus on perfecting the execution, and/or don't like someone pushing you to perfect your form, best look for something else. I personally would 100% recommend Havana Dance for Cuban salsa, rumba and son!
Natàlia Mateu Micó: The best place in Sydney to learn Cuban salsa!!! All levels classes, relaxed environment and fun classes with Havana team!! Highly recommended for everyone interested in cuban salsa!!
Laurie Pizzuti: When I started classes with Fraudy, the first thing that stood out was his attention to detail. It seemed over the top at the start, but I soon realised that if you don't get the fundamentals right from the beginning, you develop bad habits that are had to get rid of. I recommend him not only because of his expertise in teaching Cuban Salsa, but also for his fun personality and friendly classes.
heather Gu: I attended about 4 classes with Fraudy and I was told that my left arm was not resting heavy enough on his right arm therefore lack of good connection for him to lead. As a result, I was not allowed to enroll in the intermediate class.Well I’m pretty disappointed with his attitude towards me as a customer. I don’t understand why he’s made big fusses about my arm in every class (he literally would stop dancing and talk about my issue for 5 minutes in the classes). I guess he is right to say that we don’t have a good connection - goodbye and good luck!
Germán Castro: I arrived to Havana Dance through recommendation of a friend and I love the classes. Now, I have been assisting regularly to the classes for almost a year and a half.Teachers explain moves and patterns in detail and at the pace of the students. All in a fun an relaxed environment.Highly recommended!
Lilly LaScala: I met Fraudy, the Owner of Havana Dance, about 10 years ago and as soon as I started his Cuban dance classes, I felt completely relaxed and at ease. His positive energy & well structured classes, make them fun & educational & the time goes by so quickly, you wish you could do more.Fraudy's knowledge, patience & passion of all Cuban dance styles, whether it be Salsa, Son, Rumba, Afro- Cuban, Body Movement and many others, gives him an advantage over other schools. He has brought a professionalism & talent to Havana Dance, that you will not experience at other Cuban dance schools. The moves are broken down and fine tuned, so that you understand the technique behind every step. All the instructors at Havana Dance, teach in the same manner, so that you move up in levels and get the most out of each class.Havana Dance also takes small groups on Cuban dance holidays to Cuba, where you go to Fraudy's origins & experience the real Cuba. As a member of the HD team, I have enjoyed these tours a few times, with more to come.If you are wanting to challenge yourself & learn how to Salsa, Cuban style, definitely try Havana Dance, where you will immediately feel like part of a family & after each class, you will leave, feeling refreshed & energised without a care in the world.
Megan van der Hoeven: Fraudy and his team are passionate about all aspects of Cuban salsa and provide a friendly and fun atmosphere to learn. The teachers provide clear instructions and are happy to help you get the moves/steps right, which is quite different from other schools I have been to.In addition to the weekly classes, they also run monthly socials which give you a chance to practice the skills outside of a class environment.I love learning Cuban salsa at Havana Dance and highly recommend them!
