East Sydney Private Hospital: what do users think?
merna elhalaby: Most wonderful experience nurse were fantastic very helpful hospital very clean doctor David yoe was amazing 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Rohan Soi: Not satisfied that the pricing I was expecting was significantly less than what was demanded for at the end.
Prudence Butler: I had surgery with Prof Larry Kalish, he was absolutely amazing. I had such a positive experience with all the staff there, being professional and caring. Henry was very professional going through with me my after-care instructions
Lichi A.: So far so good great service
Alex Tachshenko: Professional team. Thanks
Arni Theophile: Surgery postponed because of technical difficulties with a microscope. Unacceptable with the amount of money you pay for surgery. Ridiculous! And they still charged me for something that did not happen.
Mark Butler: Small private hospital with friendly and professional staff. Rooms are quite nice and food was good. One star off for the long waits for things like waiting 2hrs for the Pharmacist to come and that's the only thing stopping discharge. Much better than the 4 other private hospitals I have been except for The San which is really nice.
Ash Todo: Waiting room bathroom is absolutely disgusting! I can’t believe what I have just witnessed.
Maureen Powell: Checked in for eye surgery this morning. While my eye might be a tad sore.!!!...I cannot speak more highly of the care I received from the moment I arrived. Professional anddedicated team.Thank you so much for all your support ❤️ 💜
Sylvia Debowski: I had my Rhinoplasty with DR Turner on the 14/3 which I was super nervous for. Thankfully I got the most compassionate anaesthetist - Lexie & a kind gentleman nurse, Ivan. Both made me feel very calm & cared for before my surgery especially when I had made them both aware that I suffer with severe anxiety. Thank you very much for making my procedure more pleasant!
Brittany A: Wonderful service, very caring and assisting staff and doctors.
Andrew Beaumont: Excellent service and highly professional staff.
Jess: My 6 year old daughter very recently had surgery here and stayed overnight. The nurses and staff are absolutely incredible; caring, attentive, friendly, hardworking. Nothing was too much trouble and my daughter (and I) were so well looked after. The food was tasty, with plenty of variety.Dr Raftopulos and Dr Rogoff were fantastic, and we're so grateful for them and their team.My daughter has said it was "the best hospital ever" and you can't beat that for an honest review.
Pamela Virtue: Introduction to waiting room toilet…disgusting. Even the door handle filthy. Asked the man at the desk to have someone clean it…nothing happened. Meals pathetic. Nurses were what gained it the only stars. They were caring.
Jessie S: My father-in-law had an operation on 07/12/22 and the process was smooth. Overall, the hospital was good. However, as an uninsured patient, he was required to pay surcharge of $63.18 based on $4750 hospital fee without any pre warning. One day before the date, we received the message (picture 1) where it only mentioned the hospital was cashless, but not mentioned surcharge for the credit cards at all. I have had a couple operations in the other two private hospitals as an insured patient, there was no surcharge in those private hospitals. Because of it, we only took a credit card upon arrival. All of our debit cards were at home so we couldn't add the debit cards for my apple pay. In this case, except for paying the surcharge, we seemed to have no other choices. My father-in-law is a pensioner and has no much savings. Having the operation in the private hospital and paying all kinds of the fees have made him very stressed.Afterwards, I checked the documents and found an informed Financial Consent where it stated the information about the direct payment but the same, it didn't mention surcharge for credit cards. Possibly, it was too late for us to choose this payment method on the day. But I still think it will be better to let the patient, especially uninsured patient, know their rights to choose the payment methods of avoiding paying the surcharge.
Kiera Dwyer: I went for an operation on the 2nd of December (my first one ever) and I was pretty nervous about it but everyone from the reception to the nurse who discharged me were incredible. Thank to the anaesthetist - Dr Ragoff who was so kind and calm when I think I was panicking right before surgery and thank you to my surgeon Dr Liebman! The nurses after surgery were just incredibly compassionate and helped me however they could and really made this experience easier!
Fred Azis-Laranjo: Ridiculous wait times and no information from staff. I was asked to come in for surgery at 10.15, but had to wait more than 4 hours before being seen, with no updates, apologies or information about the delay.
Diana Adil (Diana Altiary): Good service and the nurses were very helpful and kind-hearted..Thank you so much
Louie H: I honestly cannot praise this Hospital enough! I am so very thankful for the nurses they looked after me on level 5 they made sure I was always comfortable even when I was in pain they gave me my meds and stayed next to me till pain eased!!!Must say rooms are so clean
A S: Had an appointment yet still waiting more than 40 minutes , not really sure whats the point to have appointment for
Annie Time: I was submit for a day surgery. I m amazed how friendly and caring all the staff members. I truely felt comfortable and know I am in good hands. Especially Adam. Thank you soooo much for all the staffs reception and the nurses. Zero fault. Very happy!

mosen fayazi: Good

I was assigned an exercise physiologist, OT, cardiac nurse, physiotherapist, social worker and a dietician as a "wholistic" approach to rehabilitation. An excellent programme conducted in excellent facilities by professionals. Thanks so much Bianca and your wonderful crew.
Moe D: Good service but long wait to see the doctor.
Lorelei Bookluck: Dear Helen and all staff thank you for looking after my god mother. You are all a credit to your profession

Hurstville Private Hospital: what do users think?
Elizabeth Cowan: Had an amazing experience for the birth of my son. Everything from the pre birth to delivery and postnatal was 5 star. The midwives in delivery suite were incredible and guided us through everything. 100% recommend my OB Dr Izurieta. And every single midwife/nurse in the maternity ward was amazing. Helped us navigate being first time parents, answered all our questions and made sure we felt safe and secure going home. Thank you!!!
Emily Nassif: I spent 2 weeks at Hurstville Private and was impressed by the care and hygiene of this hospital. I was under the care of Dr Shriya Mahatme. Her dedication to her patients was exceptional and certainly made my recovery a lot easier. The unit is run by Ladrini Arrowsmith and her team. They were also exceptional and certainly took pride in their work. Great Hospital.
Mandy Glasson: No Gap program extremely misleading and only available if you are in one specific health fund with the response being oh well if you change to fund.
M J: Caring, professional staff that know what they are doing. You get what you pay for.
Peter Lynch: Excellent service, the staff are superb was very suprised 10/10 thank u very much
Stephen Brown: Staff were courteous and helpfulfood is really goodEveryone even cleaners and catering staff were kind
Just A Mom: Missed my long-awaiting appointment because patient transfer decided to literally/physically push in and take my lift (that took a while to be available) even though I got there first/before they showed up, and it was a very non-urgent transfer (clearly from the state of the patient and that they were not hooked up to anything). I spent 1.5 hours travelling only to be told I couldn't be seen! My appointment gone in a flash and my condition remains unmanaged because of sheer rudeness of hospital staff. No stairs to travel on either as they are closed off. Had I caught the lift when IT WAS MY TURN, I would have made it in time and not wasted a few hours traveling to and from for no good reason. The receptionist even told me so. I would not recommend and would give 0 stars if I could. Ridiculous set-up and hospital.
John: Pre birth care was shocking including labour lead by Donna, delivery prep & delivery was amazing lead by Kathy, post natal was good for the most part depending on which nurse/mid wife you got.
Tanin Lasjerdi: My partner had surgery here and was admitted to stay for 2 nights. I understand there are visiting hours, however, given that we travelled interstate for the surgery, it would of been nice if there was some leniency. But no! The nurse on our last night barged into my partners room whilst he was asleep from the heavy medications and asked my partner with an extremely rude attitude “have they left”. Luckily, I had already left otherwise I would’ve dealt with her accordingly! No courtesy or respect towards the patient that is resting just rude and obnoxious behaviour! Such a shame as the rest of the days, our nurses were lovely and very helpful. Room 309
richard livesey: I had a minor procedure and overnight stay there recently. The hospital and its facilities were first class and the level of care from the nurses and all the staff was excellent.
George: My wife Angelina and I are so grateful for the care, knowledge and support that was provided to us during our stay by all the maternity staff. Special thank you to Shannen who played a key role in the delivery of our baby girl. She was awesome! Also Debra was a blessing along with all the other midwives who were so attentive and caring. As first time parents this experience has been invaluable 3
Carlo Jenilian: Very Polite, curtious and friendly receptionist, and the lovely lady at the cafe.
DanGoogle Coleman: I was a recent patient for day surgery. Could not speak more highly of the staff with a big thank you to Barbara who was delightful while completing a very busy day
Mimi Burgess: Absolutely horrible customer service, called through requesting a quote for upcoming surgery and representative speaks like I am wasting her time. No regard at all for customers and honestly appaled by lack of empathy. The first ever quote I needed, got through and lady was amazing prompt and so accommodating.
Kathleen Tuziak: A very pleasant, cheerful, friendly hospital with lots of encouragement to help improve recovery. Clean, bright surroundings, comfortable hospital bed and a window lounging/exercise bed.Excellent staff who listen and explain.
Stephen JP: Partner came from Canberra to visit me. But it wasn't in the visiting hours and she was spoken to extremely rude by the nurse. Her words were you can't be here you can't here read the sign ill show you.. makes it hard for interstate people to get operations here because you can't reason with the rude nurse. Could of been handled better given the fact when your in pain its nice to have support for you by your bedside . Maybe they don't want indigenous people here. Room 302
Kim Davies: Outstanding, professional service and facilities. This was my first visit to this hospital and if I even need surgery in the future, this will be my first preference as a hospital. Staff are so kind, friendly and helpful - nothing is ever too much. Impeccably clean and the food is superb. A facility that a lot of other private health businesses could learn a lesson from.
Geoff Cowdroy: Very happy with my recovery. The staff care is excellent and the food is restaurant qualityThank you so much for looking after me
CN: Had surgery a week ago at hurstville Private, the nurses were wonderful on the surgical ward, especially one of the nurses who is also pregnant, such a caring and friendly nurse.Lovely clean hospital room with a beautiful view, didnt feel like I was in hospital, lovely staff thanku so much.
Sety Alam: It was one of the badest experiencing I have ever had!I delivered my baby in Hurstville private hospital cause I heard that it’s a very good hospital! But with my experience it was an awful and very bad experience!!The maternity section experience was very bad! They left my newborn baby without feed him for nearly 10 hours, only one nurse(that she was rude and not interested in her job) came to help me trying to breasfeed my baby since I am a First time mom , she saw that my baby didn’t know how to breastfeed so she left me without any help which lead to lowered the sugar level in my newborn baby body and He rushed him to Special care section to feed him. There was only 2 nurses on the floor and there was 7 women who gave birth and need help and caring!I had a C-section and I had a bag attached to me since I can’t go toilet, they didn’t come and check it!! I called them twice cause the bag was full to change it .They left my baby without washing him for 3 days and the other nurse came and she was surprised that they left him without a wash till that time!!The Delivery suite experiencing was very nice and the midwives are gorgeous and caring specially Dona who was very supportive and helpful .The service wasn’t good and Would never ever deliver my second baby there!
Simon Veksner: I went in for a double hip replacement here, with Dr Razvan Stoita, in June 2022. Having major surgery is not super-fun, but I have absolutely no complaints about Hurstville. The staff were uniformly friendly and caring. And the food is great too.

Kareena Private Hospital: what do users think?
Karolina Luburic: My 4 year old Daughter went in for a procedure on Tuesday, Staff were absolutely amazing, from receptionists to the nurses, doctors and even the people who moved your bed to and from couldn't ask for better people to be around. My Daughter felt safe the whole way through and was always smiling regardless of pain. Would highly recommend this hospital and wish i knew about it when i was giving birth to both of my children !
Viktor Mihajlovski: My wife recently gave birth to our first child at Kareena Private Hospital, and we could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for by the amazing team of doctors, nurses, and support staff. The facilities were top-notch, with comfortable and spacious rooms equipped with all the necessary amenities for new parents and their babies. The staff was incredibly attentive and supportive, providing guidance and reassurance throughout the entire process of labor and delivery. We were particularly impressed by the level of personalized care that we received. The doctors and nurses took the time to get to know us and our preferences, and made sure that we were comfortable and informed every step of the way. They also provided excellent postpartum care, ensuring that both our baby and we were healthy and recovering well.
Rod Holzwart: I had 2 partial knee replacements here recently and was very impressed. The hospital and facilities are very good but most impressive by far, were the staff. Everyone I came in contact with was courteous, professional and friendly with a special shout-out to the nursing staff.
DavidJazzP: 3/3/23 Two day stay after shoulder surgery off one amazing surgeon Dr Pant.Spent my stay in ICU. I would like to thank all staff nurses male/ female that took care of me during my stay. From thearter to ICU stay. Such caring lovely people forever greatful .Extra special thanks to Adriana( hope name is correct) changed dressing before leaving thanks so much ☺️
Allan Su: I want to say a big thank you to the team at Kareena private. They were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly from the moment of reception to discharge.
Renee Tsiantarlis: It's a shame when booking pre natal classes there is no information saying only book if you are double vaxd. The only time it is mentioned is when you get a confirmation email, suggest this is amended on your website
cherri j: My friend had horrific experience at this hospital for her after care no empathy or care was given by nurses! avoid going here at all costs
Frederick McLean: Friendly staff and service
Judy Mancini: 5-7/12/22 Rooms Clean & Tidy & the Nursing Staff were all wonderful, helpful extremely caring & very professional!I was provided with all that i needed I felt really looked after in recovery & the days whiles I stayed there.Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the nurses & everyone there.. You are all hard working & sympathetic & I felt I was truly cared for beyond my expectations!!A Huge thank you everyone 🙏🏽 I feel I should have thanked all the Day & Night Nursed who looked after me! individually.. for their hard work & kindnessMerry Christmas to all ❤️
Greg Melrose: The quality of care at Kareena is first rate and the staff were very caring and attentive to the patients needs. In particular, 2 nurses Katrina and Kareena (not sure re spelling) were exceptional. There is even a comfortable lounge where you can sit and have a nice lunch after your procedure. Overall if you have to go to hospital, this is the place!
Grace Roussos: Cannot recommend this hospital enough! My stay there felt like a holiday. All the midwives are absolutely beautiful. Thank you to Bev, Kelly, deb, Sonu and Karen for going above and beyond for me! Truly an amazing team of midwives!
TA S: To the 2 Nurses on the Maternity ward that wanted to be heroes on the 4th Nov at 1430. I hope if you have a daughter she never gets Nurses like you. Your Prison Warden attitude…especially The big set, blond hair one, was appalling. As tempting as it is , I won’t share your names. Next time you want to be heavy handed with rules…make sure you actually know them. The trauma you caused that day with a new mum…who’s baby spent most of his days in SCN…remains 8 days later. Know your rules too when speaking to a new father who’s doing his best with conflicting advice. The star is for Nurse Kelly who was amazing to both Mum and Dad as they navigated this frightening time.
Diane Hampel: I would just like to thank all the nurses, physios and Dr Gonski on ward E for my recent hospital stay. They made my stay much more pleasant and cheerful whilst I had to rehabilitate after major back surgery. I cannot remember everyone’s name (as I am 85 years old),, especially the lovely young man on this morning but I would like to thank Brad, Jacob, Anita, Danielle, Beth, and all the staff on E ward. Thank you so much for helping me.
Sandy Gee: I went here for day surgeryGood experience from start to finishStaff were very good and caringI would highly recommend 😊
Emelia Reilly (Emma): I had a day procedure yesterday and couldn't fault the experience at all. From start to finish I felt very looked after. The staff I came in contact with were all very warm and professional. I wasn't kept waiting too long for my operation, and the meal I was offered after was pretty decent. I even got an ice block for my sore throat after the extubation and some analgesia to feel comfortable as I recover, all the little thoughtful touches that aren't considered when you go public. Thanks again!
Nicole McBeath: Unfortunately the front line experience was very poor and lacked compassion, care and personality, Sonia the receptionist treated us with no respect, she did not make eye contact , smile or even greet with a hello or how are you. My daughter who suffers with anxiety & advised this to Sonia the previous afternoon when she made the admission phone call also very rude , anyone going into hospital for any type of procedure needs that initial contact to be a lot better than what we experienced that day. Fortunately once I took her to day surgery which Sonia also tried to ask me to leave and let her go by herself rolling her eyes, Melissa the day surgery nurse took my daughter and re-assured her that all will be OK . My daughter has commended the rest of the experience but with the negative start that is what she remembers and talks about the most to friends and family.
Tinka Res: I have a two day stay here post surgery and I must say Kareena Private has the best hospital food I have tasted! And the staff have been very kind and attentive. Very impressed with the level of care recieved
Rod Nilsson: I have just had hernia operation. Honestly this is the most wonderful place with staff who are amazing. My thanks girl to each one I have dealt with since I arrived.I unfortunately have spent over 11/2 years in hospital during my life. This is without doubt the best.Special Thanx go out to the most happy and helpfulFrancesca. But certainly not limited to her.Thankyou everyone.
mitch oates: I'll start with the positives, My wife Had a c section at kareena and the after care inside the hospital was great, Dy the lactation expert was phenomenal and Lauraine was fantastic they also allowed us to come back a few days after check up for extra checks etc. some others nurses I forgot there names were also really great.Unfortunately one nurse was extremely rude and smelt like smoke, she also wasn't wearing a mask inside our room which everyone wears masks at the moment inside the hospital. She came into our room at 2:30am and basically told us everything we were doing was wrong even though we were following the other nurses advice to the letter, our room completely smelt like smoke after she visited, she also asked to touch baby to help while my wife was breast feeding but we refused as the smell of smoke + no mask, no gloves. I don't know her name but I believe she was the shift manager. I'm glad we didn't see her again as it was quite traumatic how condescending she was to my wife and I at 2:30am.. we didn't fill out the report on discharge as we didn't want any drama we just wanted to get out of the hospital with our bubs.
Kawasaki 59 59: Many Thanks Kareena Private for taking good care of my mother D.Price who was in for over 8 weeks. To Steph the Charge Nurse in charge of the Kingsway Ward 2nd floor much appreciated very caring and thoughtful to my mothers needs. The DR Chris Dedousis many thanks from our hole family for taking the time and care and understanding my mums needs very much appreciated. To all the staff Nurses,Kitchen, etc all was Excellent thank you all so much for the fine care.P.Price Cheers.
Bron Woolbank: Had my wisdom teeth out a couple weeks ago and I really recommend Kareena private. My recovery immediately after waking up from surgery was really faultless. Getting your wisdom teeth out is not fun but Kareena made it as enjoyable as possible. ✅

Sydney Day Surgery - Prince Alfred: what do users think?
Nura Lamy: I had surgery there in 2022 and yesterday. Kudos to the healthcare team there, twice going there and both greaaat experience, I hope for not coming back (for a good reason)! The only nurse I remember her name was Nurse Angela (I met her again yesterday!), she's for real an angel and sweetheart! I can see she's truly passionate what she does, not just career wise but also helping people and calming patients.I hope great things return to the healthcare team there and thank you for your service to the community.
Dr Orthopaedics: Had surgery yesterday. As a surgeon, this time I was on the other side of the scalpel; ALL the staff were kind, extremely professional and capable. My sincerest thanks. EG
Anna: A very positive experience here. The whole team is caring and friendly and my son was in the best hands for his surgery. Love the staff on reception as well! 5 stars!
Jenny Tadros: Just had surgery this morning, I was very nervous. As soon as you get in you are taken care of and are in great hands. Shout- out to the beautiful lovely Receptionist (My apologies for not getting your name) greeted me with kindness, empathy and good humour. Thank you to the beautiful Nurse Ange. Your angelic, caring and calming nature put me at ease. God bless you all. Also, to the Anaesthetics Nurse who I held his hand for dear life, God bless you. 🙏🙏
Lyn Tran: Fantastic service from both reception and the whole team at the Sydney Day Surgery who made my wisdom tooth removal a superior experience! Keep up the amazing and caring work! :)
Angela Lathouras: I am so very grateful to the nurse who came to my aid today when my son needed help with a surgical wound. I didn’t get your name but you went out of your way to help us. It’s uncommon these days. A hundred thousand thankyous
Zhi Ling Ng: I’ve been here 3 times now for the same surgery, and my most recent visit March 8 2022 was the best experience I’ve had at Sydney Day Surgery. The last time I was here back in 2020 I gave some feedback as I encountered a very rude nurse during recovery, she had a temper and didn’t treat the recovery patients well. I’m glad my most recent experience was quite the opposite. The nurses and staff took care of me so well from beginning to end of my stay here. I was feeling anxious before surgery and it was nurse Ange and another nurse who did their best to care for me and comfort me when I was crying. They are friendly, warm, welcoming, and know how to empathise and care for patients who are feeling anxious. They made my experience enjoyable. Nurse Ange mentioned to me she loves working here, and I could tell the relationship the staff have with each other is great and supportive which made me feel at ease. During recovery, nurse Kirsty (I think that’s her name) was also very accomodating and helpful. She was patient with me and didn’t rush my recovery time as I was still waking up from the anaesthetic. Thank you so much to the nurses who made my stay and experience a pleasant one, I can’t thank you enough! I hope they can read this, as I didn’t get a chance to say thank you to them after. It seems like there’s a new batch of nurses and staff here now compared to 2020, and I must say the level of excellence and care is definitely seen and felt. If I may need to return here for future surgeries, I can be at peace knowing I will be taken care of with utmost care.
王宁建: If you really care about your experience, please do not choose this hospital
A G: Had a procedure here today. Fantastic service from the beginning to the end! From front staff to the nurses, anaethetists and doctors. I highly recommend this facility.
ever green: Amazing staff! Nurse Nathaniel, Nurse Godfrey and the rest of the team during the operation as well as nurses at post-op were all so attentive and caring. They all made the whole experience very smooth and easy. Really want to thank them all for their hard work and care they showed. Dr Stergoulis and Dr Kerr were phenomenal as always. I was so lucky to go into my very first operation with such an amazing team. Thank you so much!
Bryson Bade: Sydney Day Surgery Prince Alfred. visit here if you need a better treatment. best hospital of Sydney..
Kourosh Keshavarz: I had elective surgery here. I was admitted on time and looked after quite well.

Lakeview Private Hospital: what do users think?
Liz Walker: I can't say enough for the friendly and caring staff of Lakeview. Our particular thanks to Nurse Oli and Nurse Priya for their compassionate and practical care.
brian o rourke: Hi i have full knee replacement done about 6 year know I am happy with my new knee I would like to say thank you Dr John fox who looked after me when I was there
A Wong: Angela and other staff at Lake Veiw private hospital were efficient and caring and friendly, the personality traits ideal for hospitals.
Hayley Emma: I was only a day patient at this hospital but was absolutely blown away by the luxuries I was given. The facilities are wonderful and the staff even more so, keeping me up to date on delays with good time approximation. They were extremely considerate, giving me a warmed blanket, letting me not know my weight upon my request, and providing individual waiting rooms with TV's and recliners. This was such a positive experience!
Ramski: Bad location. Parking is bloody expensive, second only to Sydney Airport parking charges. Avoid this place.
danial nejati: I think it's one of the best hospitals in sydney, nurses are so friendly and the rooms are at the highest level in terms of equipment and quality, and of course a bit pricey.
Jugal Chandawalla: I had a couple of procedures at this hospital recently. Although I had to wait for almost 2 hours before I was taking in for my procedures, three different nurses came and checked in on me. All the staff that I dealt with from the reception to the wait area till after the procedures were professional and friendly. Overall, the staff gave the feeling like they cared for you.
kamane yazdanizade: Sally from infection control I think, was really cold and kinda rude.
Wendy Cooke: I have been looked after twice at Lakeview Private Hospital this year, once for Breast Cancer and seven months later a total knee replacement. On both occasions I had shared rooms at first, which was fine by me. The rooms are enormous and very well appointed. The hospital is spotless, and staff attention to cleanliness and routine is impeccable. My pain relief was managed brilliantly on both occasions, and staff were extremely knowledgeable and serious about the subject. Both procedures went very well, and I felt completely safe. The staff treat each other with courtesy and professionalism and are very much a team. Every person who dealt with me was kind and respectful. The doctors checked on me repeatedly, despite nothing being wrong. I am happy to recommend them, and would ask to go back if I need anything else done.
Kushal Devkota (Kush): I had surgery yesterday with Dr Nirmal Patel and I’m abit disappointed that I wasn’t able to get to see him and speak to him post surgery. I understand he is very busy but I had many questions unanswered which I don’t think is fair considering the long wait time and the expensive costs for my surgery.I don’t think it’s right for patients to be discharged without their doctor who performed their surgery saying how the surgery went and what I need to do from now on to recover quickly. Just disappointed
Paul Budgen: Universally great staff and really good food for a hospital. 5 star review if I had a room to myself (as i had in the private hospital just up the road).
أيمن توفيق: The worst hospital in NSW.I supposed to stay two nights I fled just after the first night.I had the impression that as a private patient, I will be in a single room, as per my previous experience in Saint George Private and Waratah Private Hospital. This never happened. In the first night after the operation, I could not have any sleep or rest and the headache was so severe. The room door is open all the time with no privacy. The machine attached to me keep displaying faults and keep beeping and I have to call the staff to switch it off almost every 15 min of the night. My room mate is snoring very loudly all night.I asked to move to another room or move the other person, my request was not even cared about.Staff member coming and going all night.Although, the doctor said I can have range of food, yet they only provided me with very salty warm water. In stead of providing a medicine script, they forced me to take unnecessary medicine from their pharmacy without giving me the option and of course charged for it.My and my family members previous experience in any private or public hospital in nsw was never ever as bad.I would never recommend this hospital to even an animal
Leanne McLean: Very caring and professional. Dr Ermerak was brilliant and anaesthetist very efficient. Thank you team. Would return in a heartbeat.
Jeff Williams: Left in a small windowless room in only a hospital gown for close to two hours waiting for day surgery with no checks or updates from nursing staff . Staff only arrived after a mild panic attack and text messages to the wife . Not complaining about surgery team running late , but lack of observation and care shown by staff to someone who was very nervous about the up coming procedure . Essentially put in a room and forgotten . If you want care and compassion , scared and nervous about surgery ……. STAY AWAY . Seriously , I’m a frequent flier of our hospital system , and this was unacceptable . So much more care in other hospitals , if you have a choice, steer clear .
Paul M: My wife recently had major orthopaedic surgery. She spent 5 days at the Lakeview Private Hospital for recovery and physical rehab. The staff were excellent- attentive and caring and warm.Service standards are high - they even have timers on the screens in the corridors that indicate how long since a patient pressed their Help button! The hospital is owned by approximately 43 of the Surgeons that operate or base there. Perhaps this makes for higher service standards as they may give a higher focus to Patient Outcomes and Care than a focus on maximising profit. The attention to the patient, atmosphere and warm and caring attitude at Lakeview Private was MUCH better than the other large "private" hospital nearby. This hospital was what you would expect for a private hospital. We highly recommend Lakeview Private based on our recent experience. THANK YOU to the staff there.
Holly Marshall: I recently went to Lakeview for a procedure. I would like to thank the wonderful nursing team that cared for me while there. My experience was made so much better because of them.tthanthe wonderful
Harsha Lokuwithanage: What a great experience, thanks for making people’s worst days of their lives in to a pleasant and comfortable one. No words to explain how good was the their service. Hats off to the level 4 team.
David Vela: Unfortunately I had a bad experience in this hospital. They made me and other patients with me wait for more than 5 hrs before we were called in for the schedule procedure.Management came and saw me and apologised for the delay.I feel like I was in a public hospital
Michelle Nickols: My surgeon is terrific and I found the nurse's and the staff to be helpful and friendly. Their motto is "Patients First " and they certainly do that. I have never been in a hospital that is as good at taking care of it's patient's as Lakeview Private hospital I think that it's one of the top in Australia. The staff are all happy and a delight to be around when recovering from surgery. They have a great physiotherapy to help you whilst in hospital and afterwards. They've got a swimming pool that they do hydrotherapy therapy in.I can't believe that they're so good. Thank you for your care and support.
Leah Kirkness: Excellent from start to finish. Had 4 wisdom teeth removed under G/A and was very happy with the professionalism. The nurses go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and safe and the medical team were friendly and proficient.
Calvin: Great hospital! Staff are attentive and patient centred. Food was so so. I got my own private room which had a view of the lake.

Gordon Private Hospital: what do users think?
Chris Guest: Had a family member at GPH recently on the basis of multiple addictions, anorexia and psychosis. From Kylie in admissions to Eric the head nurse whom we had constant communication with, under the circumstances I was hugely impressed with the care taken given the fragility of the situation - even allowing the inpatient to continue on with her program after a massive breach of conduct within the first 2 days. It’s a shame it didn’t work out this time (in part due to an extenuating relationship) but we remain hopeful for the future. Thanks again.
Alex Munce: My partner was a recent inpatient at Gordon Private, during her stay I left her a large and beautiful bouquet of flowers which not only did she not receive but the staff somehow misplaced? What An absolute joke.In addition other patients were passing her notes inviting her to their room to participate in drug use.The visiting spaces are lacking and the atmosphere is dull.
Sienna S: the nurses are not trained AT ALL and scream at you. they are horrible and verbally abusive. they threatened to call an ambulance on multiple people who were having severe panic attacks if they did not calm down which btw doesn’t help at all. they believe that mental illness makes a person less then them and guilt trip and manipulate you into believing that when you are bad and can’t control your behaviours that you are doing it on purpose to make their job and life harder. you cannot report the horrible behaviour of the nurses to the head of hospital because, coming from personal experience, they will just kick you out because “if the nurses quit because of what you say there is a nurse shortage and we will have no nurses and that’s not fair on the hospital so you need to stop this” (this is a quote of what i was told before they kicked me out due to my complaints knowing i was still unsafe.)
Julianna Macann: Dr Vuong (psychiatrist) has extensive deep knowledge, methodical approach, active listening, dedication and a compassionate nature.India (Psychologist) is empathetic, thorough, and helps collaborate on devising practical skills and strategies. All the staff, from admissions, administration, nursing, cleaning, and catering are caring and dedicated. All the kitchen staff create consistently delicious food (with options to choose from), and are always friendly. There are various group therapy sessions to choose from during the day, run by experienced psychologists and art therapists. Each patient room has its own seperate air conditioner and control, to suit individual needs.Gordon Hospital is a highly supportive, and caring environment, with dedicated professionals.
Tj Phillips: Been here 6 times. Great hospital, clean and rooms are great if you're not stuck next to a snorer. Most of the nurses are friendly, competent & just great people. Psych groups are mainly ammature advice that you can google. Though Dr Artin's group is great & the person who runs the D&A groups is a champ. Downside is being poisoned because they don't understand allergies. Also the lying s3xist man that runs the place & breaches peoples privacy doesn't help. Especially when unsecured weights fall on your head & they accidentally do TMS on your eye but won't take responsibility for it.Overall its good compared to the 2 other places I've been (hills clinic & hornsby public) but its really a coin toss, depends if you're someone that is often discriminated against and what illnesses you have (eg they don't understand trauma)
Matt Dooley: Gordon Private Hospital changed my life. I was in a lot of trouble as far as my mental health was concerned and I found the admissions process really took this into account. The nursing staff is fantastic and the doctors and psychiatrists are fabulous. There are groups each day that are run by brilliant psychologists and therapists, and they really helped to give some context to all the things that were going on for me. I’m now enrolled in two outpatient programs as well as seeing my psychiatrist at the outpatient clinic. As you can tell, I highly recommend Gordon Private Hospital.
Alastair Humphries: I cannot praise them all enough. From the front office team, through catering, cleaning, nursing, Psychologists and Psychiatrists. I felt safe and supported in there, the group sessions I learnt a lot from, and discovered a talent for art I never new I had. Thank you to everyone there for making my stay such a positive and I believe life changing experience. I can highly recommend them.
paul clark: I attended the three week course at Gordon private hospital and was under the guidance of Professor Gordon Parker psychiatrist and psychologist by the name of India, I have been in three clinics, I have come away a change man this is been the most satisfying time of my life which is completely turned me around my medication has been reduced by about 80% and I am managing very very well with the tools I have learnt in the program. The staff have been incredible from reception to nursing to psychiatry and psychology, I can only say it is worth every cent to invest in such a facility I think them very very much for what they offered me and wish anyone who is going to think of entering a clinic to consider Gordon private as it only focuses on depression and doesn’t have other issues to be concerned with like other clinics
Johanna Blake: I had a great experience at Gordon Private. The psychiatrists, psychologists and nurses all helped to put me in a new direction forward. Thank you!
Woody Sinclair: NOTICE TO PTSD& complex ptsd sufferers, this hospital does not treat PTSD or CPTSD at all I found out the hard way , I say this from my heart.
maggie carter: I dropped my 85 year old mother here yesterday (Friday). Because of COVID protocols I couldn’t go past reception. I basically had to just wave goodbye at the door. This was very distressing for both me and her. Surely they could have tested me and let me come and help settle her in.I did not realise the hospital is “closed“ on weekends. I just called her on her mobile as the hospital was not answering its phone, and discovered that she had a very bad night because she has no blankets on her bed. She had to put on her dressing gown to sleep in. Because the hospital is closed, and no one’s answering the phone, I cannot visit to bring her a blanket. This means she will be cold tonight and tomorrow night until I can get there on Monday to pass a blanket through the screen to reception. She did ask the nursing staff for a blanket and was provided with a very thin, inadequate blanket. Also, she has torn muscles in her shoulder for which she requires medication, which is in her blister pack, and no one provided her with that medication until she had to go and ask for it at about 3 pm today. This is a very poor start to her 3week stay. I will be reporting as time goes on.
Renee may: Absolute let down after ringing up for over a week and trying to get in being approved by my psych who actually works there I was told no I’ve been clean for six weeks now and just desperately needing more mental health therapy and told no third time I’m trying to get into a private rehab and let down such supportive people not
Abi: Was at Gordon in the youth unit for a month and have been doing amazing for 6 months. TMS and medication review helped very well. Was a lot of fun in the youth unit! Would mostly like to thank Elaine and Dr Artin J + various nurses - life changing people!! 100% recommend going to Gordon, even if you don’t think you’re “unwell enough.”
Julia K: My daughter wanted to get some much needed help with anxiety, depression and medication review. She was positive and happy entering the program. It was not a good experience for her.PositivesModern facilities with gym and the food and room was nice. Some of the staff were very nice.NegativesNo visitors allowed in during her stay which was suppose to be 21 days.No visitors allowed to pick the patients up for a few hours day leave on weekends or when neededNot a secure facilityOne size fits all program. Not individualised. No assistance dogs allowed. My daughter suffered extreme anxiety from the day she arrived. On day 3 she left the hospital unattended. The staff were unaware so I had to call and tell them. She was in contact with me the whole time and returned willingly. The nursing staff had a one strike and you are out mentality. They wanted to call the police but I said there was no need as she would return willingly she was just a bit lost. My daughter felt clostropgobic not being able to get out for a few hours a day. They picked her up and she got in the car willingly.I needed time to drive from Canberra to collect her. The male nurse on duty threatened to section her and send her to a public hospital if I didn't arrive by 5.30pm to collect her. It as 1.30pm.This was stressful as it would have been detrimental to her mental health. She was calm sitting in her room non aggressive after the incident. No one was there to talk to her and see if she was ok.My daughter said it felt more like a boarding school than a Mental health hospital.Groups were mandatory and if you are naughty you get expelled. To me if you don't want people walking out install swipe card security for staff. There was no apology or responsibility taken or made about the incident. My daughter who needed help was left to feel like a failure and this will not help her issues at all.Overall a disappointing experience. I hope this review can implement change.People with mental health issues don't always make good decisions thats why they come to you for help. You need to do better as a mental health facility.Thank you.
Gregory Rostron: Treatment entailed daily lectures about DBT and then another 'group therapy' hour after lunch where you could ask questions. Staff were nice but when I really needed to talk to someone they seemed uninterested. I was expecting 'individualised' treatment but got a 'one size fits all' treatment.Modern facilities but I wouldn't go back.
Meredith Cooper: Don’t waste time or money seek Quilty treatment first you have no choice of treating psychiatrist. Groups are either one big lecture or sit in art room and do your own thing. Self harm behaviour not stopped just patched up and Gordon claims to follow NSW health guidelines but excludes assistance and Guid dogs. Please go somewhere that gives quality treatment first.
gunji loo loo: Over heard a nurse talking trash about patients and delt with abusive women who made me uncomfortable nurses did nothing
gillianfrances: Gordon Private wouldn't accept me as an inpatient because I'm taking CBD Oil, approved by the TGA & prescribed by a GP.Very disappointing & very unhelpful.
James Coates: Amazing
David Burrell: I highly recommend Gordon Private for an inpatient stay. I’ve completed 3.5 weeks and have felt it was a positive experience for me. The nursing staff and group facilitators were fantastic. They showed professionalism, compassion, care and concern. They had a wealth of knowledge and experience when it came to all mental health concerns and could almost see issues coming before I could, normalising parts of the inpatient experiences. At one point I needed a room change and this was easily accommodated.Groups were run so well! Facilitators gave everyone the opportunity to contribute and presented very clear rules for groups; which meant everyone did get a chance to feel part of the discussion topic. If you felt distressed and left the group, someone came to see if you were ok. So it felt very supportive.Recreation spaces were clean and tidy and comfortable, peaceful and nurses made sure they stayed that way.My psychiatrist saw me twice a week consistently as did my assigned psychologist. One day the psychologist was off work sick and he phoned to have a session with me! Outstanding care and consideration.Aftercare and discharge planning were prepared in advance and I felt I had a solid footing before departure. I would come back again if and when I needed to.
Gloria Kaneko: I spent 2 months in Gordon Private early this year for severe depression and I'm so glad I chose that hospital over all the others. The hospital itself is very modern, comfortable and clean, and without exception, the staff there are all fantastic. They are patient, professional, caring, friendly and always helpful. Even the patients are great. I found that despite their problems they are all friendly and well-mannered. I got to meet some great people there and I think that our evening group chats were very therapeutic for me.The only one problem with Gordon Private is the food. It's too good. Much too good. You will almost certainly leave that place heavier than you came. I did. :)Speaking to a few of the other patients who had been in other private psychiatric hospitals, they all said that Gordon Private was the best, and it's easy to see why. The same can be said of most of the doctors. Mine was fantastic and managed to put me into remission from my severe depression of 3 years. Other patients also spoke very highly of their doctors, and also like me got a lot out of the group therapy classes there.I look back at my time in Gordon Private very fondly for many reasons, it really was like heaven for me and I was so sad to finally have to leave. I would recommend Gordon Private to anyone as a great place to recover, you won't regret it.

Lady Davidson Private Hospital: what do users think?
JOHN O'NEILL: Caring and efficient staff have made my stay here pleasant and rewarding.John O’Neill
Emma Tobin: I stayed in Lady Davidson Hospital for for 1.5-2 weeks. I'm in my 40's and was one of the younger people there, but honestly they can cater for all demographics. The care I received was mostly amazing. Their staff are so caring and nurturing. While I wanted to stay their longer, I had to leave as I was attending a Pain Management Course... so I sadly had to leave earlier than I wanted to. I left with a happy look on my face and more positive, according to a friend who collected me. A big shout out to Sheile (the Senior Physiotherpist) and Sue (Physio) for keeping me smiling and upbeat. The stay would not have been the same without them! Their positivity and enthusium is infectious, and I cannot thank them enough. Food was good but improvements could have been made. The Occupational Therapist was amazing. Their Hydrotherapy was amazing.Whatever age you are, I would highly recommend this hospital without a doubt. The love and care you receive is amazing.A big call out to Nurse Caroline for her care.
Melinda Seed: Extremely disappointing that rehabilitation is almost non-existent at this place for older patients. My mother was transferred here from hospital, we expected more physiotherapy and independence developed at rehab-not far less. A few minutes a day with a physio aide, we were laughed at for suggesting (as the hospital physio had said she was ready for) a low walker rather than the unwieldy stand. We were told it was preposterous that she would be able to toilet herself again. Well thank heavens she got an infection and was transferred back to hospital, she is now using the low walker and walking good distances across grass and rough terrain, she can walk short distances without an aid and is toileting independently and doing things we were laughed at for suggesting to the staff at LDH.
Anne McManus: Overall a pleasant stay. I seem to remember that the kitchen in the Lambert Ward, down the back of the property, had a sign on the door reading ‘Do not enter’. For an early riser like me I disobeyed the sign and helped myself to a cup of coffee around 5am each morning. Always tidied up afterwards.
basil kaadi: Great place for the sick
Lindsay Grebert: Clean and tidyFriendly staff
Winning Touch K9 Massage & Rehabilitation: My mother was there last year and the doctor and I wouldn’t let her go back after ending back in hospital twice. Once with a stroke where the doctor at the hospital had to investigated why her heart medication wasn’t given and then a few weeks later she was over oxygenated and had carbon monoxide build up in her lungs. Her meals were meant to be cut up but was left and she had to wait to see if someone would come and cut upSome of the staff should be school teachers belittling patients and being so rude to them.Thankfully we found a better rehabilitation placeThankfully we found a lovely rehabilitation place
Margaret-Anne Hayes: The refurbished Lambert Ward does not seem to have a dining room where patients could meet and interact with other patients. This means that each day, apart from some physiotherapy the patients are in their room all day on their own. There are no 'events' in the lounge room, no talks, discussions, music, bingo, nothing. On the weekend it is worse, as there are no therapists there of any kind. Whilst many patients may be older, does the hospital really have to serve 'afternoon tea'' at 1.30 "because the staff finish at 2.00 as the tea has to be finished" "besides which we serve dinner at 5.00p.m" So patients are offered no hot drinks for 3 1/2 hours, nor a biscuit, nothing. AND WHY IS DINNER SERVED AT 5p.m. the patients aren't children. Who eats dinner at 5pm, surely, surely to goodness dinner could be served at least one hour later at 6pm. But once again it is most likely done, not for the patients benefit, but for the staff and administration. There is no way visitors can make a cup of tea for a patient, and the nurse from a Chinese background was very irritated when asked could a cup of tea be given to a patient. So be afraid all those who are well and who read this - be very afraid, for if you need rehabilitation know that you will be treated like a child, you will have to fit in with the nursing schedule, and no thought will be given to treating you as a thinking, intelligent adult who just happens to need some physical rehabilitation. There must be many like my elderly neighbour whose family are interstate and overseas and whose old friends are no longer able to drive or a catch a bus to visit, so she sits there all day on her own, feeling very lonely and depressed. Surely in 2019 we can do better than this.
dave p: I've had two really good experiences with Lady Davidson. In Feb 2019, my 100yr old mum was there for about two weeks recovering from a hip operation. We interacted with a large number of staff - and were really impressed with their care and concern for mum , their professionalism and their availability to answer a myriad of questions. The second experience was with my wife's 97yr old dad who had a fall and broken a couple of bones. Same experience: great staff and great care.
Byron O'Neill: Great place to work!
Alan Rance: These people took great care of my mum in Sydney. Wonderful staff and great facilities.
LOULA ILIOPOULOU: My first job here as a nurse in 1969 .Happy days ant memories .THANK you Australia for everything , ant the diploma YOU given to me at ROYAL NORTH SHORE HOSPITAL OF SYDNEY .

Sydney Surgical Centre: what do users think?
sarah Mckenna: I came in yesterday to get 3 wisdom teeth removed. I was very nervous. It’s not something anyone wants to do. From the minute I walked in to reception to the minute I left, the standard of customer service was outstanding. The nurses did not stop checking in to make sure I was ok. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me.
Tom Boc: Great attention to detail, staff seems happy. I would definitely recommend.
Ian Maguire: Absolutely rude and discriminatory I was refused surgery based on my weight I have never been so humiliated in my life. I have had over 4 surgeries in the last 2 years but these rude and disrespectful persons felt it was ok to shame a patientWhen the surgeon arrived he was ok with the surgery and over ruled these horrible administrative staff … never will I go back
Tom Kennedy: Truely exceptional. The standard of care at the SSC was amazing. The staff were thorough, caring, and diligent. Surgery is always an anxious and unpleasant time for the patient, but I cannot imagine feeling more comfortable and cared for than I did. Of all health facilities I've attended, this was the gold standard!
Dougie Taylor: The Centre runs like clockwork, absolutely flawless from the moment I walked in. The Admin staff were fantastic and the Medical team couldn't have been more attentive or professional. Thank you very much to all involved.
susan fallon: I recently accompanied a family member who is challenged for a procedure. The staff were very kind and showed genuine care and patience.Thank you to all the wonderful staff we recently had the pleasure of meeting.
Michelle Kable: This surgical centre is the best. The staff are all so kind and professional. You couldn’t find anything at all wrong. Dr Richmond and team are absolutely amazing.
Bernard Cheah: Wonderful experience very professional and friendly staff.....had an eye surgery a few weeks ago with an overnight stay. Top marks 10 out of 10 ....strongly recommend this facilty and will not hesitate to return again.
Steven Short: My entire experience as this facility was flawless. At every stage of my procedure (when I was conscious) from arrival and check-in, pre-med, pre anaesthesia, pre-op chat with nurses, surgeon and anaesthetist to post op recovery and care I felt absolutely at ease and given a gold standard quality of care. Working in this industry, I approach each task with the attitude that at the end of everything I do there is a patient needing care. It was truly wonderful to see that reflected by everyone at Sydney Surgical Centre. I cannot recommend highly enough - I'm even looking forward to my next visit!
Jessa Mccoy: I had 4 of my wisdom teeth out on the 30th October and I am soo grateful for all the staff and nurses here. from the pre-op to post-op everyone was so caring even though they were very busy that day. It felt so personal and like they actually cared and they were just all soo lovely and competent as well. It was my first surgery and time going under so was scared but I had a really good experience here.
Richard Whitfield: Had my oral surgery done here today and all of the staff were so pleasant and professional. Highly recommend.
Jaime: I had the pleasure of having a procedure done here on May 20th, 2019.I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone from the front office to the nurses in the operating room and after theatre care.My pain management doctor, Dr Tim Ho uses this surgical centre often to perform different pain related treatments and surgeries.I have been to many different hospitals here in Australia and in the United States, and I have to say this is by far the most professional, superior and overall dedicated team of medical professionals who truly care about their patients from as soon as you arrive until you leave.Thank you so much for making my short stay there a very caring experience. You are all such wonderful human beings.Kind regards,Miss Jaime Maddern
Caroline Freney: Thank you so much Carley and the professional, caring nursing team for such a caring and pleasant surgical experience. Henry is comfortable and I am comforted by your expertise. It was a was a highly professional organisation. Kind regards Caroline
Dawn Belmonte: I had the pleasure of spending time here for surgery and after care a couple of weeks ago, from the moment I checked in I was treated like someone special, not just another patient. The aftercare I received overnight was exemplary the staff were attentive and comforting to me all night, thank you so much for the experience and I would not hesitate in coming back for any further procedure in the future. Well done to all concerned with my stay.
Remon Youkhana: I had procedures at the sydney surgical center and i was so satisfied with dr nurses and their hospitality. I just want to say keep up the good work in everything you guys do for the patients.

Mount Wilga Private Rehabilitation Hospital: what do users think?
jet kel: There isn’t enough stars ⭐️ to tell you how good this facility is ! From the actual structure down to the individual professions that treat the patients . My mum was lucky enough to get a spot and I’m so absolutely delighted that she could be one of the many this organization has helped get her life back . Thank you for the deepest part of my soul for all you have done for us as a family but most of all for mum!
Seema Agrawal: I came to Mount Wilga after my bilateral knee surgery. I was anxious about how it would be. Today I am leaving and I must say with a positive experience. The staff is very friendly and polite. Dr. Ganeshan, the rehab physician is very good and I was looked after very well. The nursing staff, Helma and others are very good. Physio Angelo, I like to thank for his encouraging words. Food is amazing. What can I say that this facility is the best
Brett Parker: Easy access
David Kennedy: My mum was in for 2 week stay for post op rehab physio after knee replacement and she can't stop praising the facility and staff. Awesome food, daily cleaning of room and excellent staff. Thanks Mt Wilga, mum hasn't looked this well in ages.
Gosha Gersbach: I was in Mt Wilga Hospital for 2 weeks after THR. The best decision I made. Michael was my main physiotherapist, he was amazing. The physiotherapy department is excellent. Physiotherapy sessions are very intense, but they deliver results. Dr Ganashan was my doctor his care was wonderful. Especial thanks to RN Helma for outstanding care and support.
Fatemeh Moshiri: My husband did knee joint replacement and spent his rehab in Mt Wilga. The level of care and support provided is outstanding. We really appreciate all the wonderful care we received from the medical team. Especial thanks to Helma Haddadi, Karen Marks and Victor (my apologies cant remember the surname).May the Lord bless and reward you all!
Vincent Montano: The decision as to what rehabilitation hospital to attend was not an easy one. Our rehab specialist helped us narrow it down to two facilities, and we chose Mt Wilga at Hornsby, even though we live in Neutral Bay, as we knew it specialised in Neuro Rehab. Using the NorthConnex helped with the travel. The neuro physiotherapists and occupational therapists were exceptional, as were the exercise physiologists. My mobility improves weekly, and I am now attending as an outpatient.I cannot recommended Mt Wilga more highly, and will always remember the dedication of the wonderful staff.
A M: I cannot find fault with the Allied Health Staff, especially the pain management team. I owe my recovery and strength with you guys.
Jeremy Lung: im spinal cord incomplete t10/11. Dr Grace Leong is a gem. couldn't recommend more
Reikido Kai: Outstanding care and support, my stay was 5 star.
Philip Crawford: After double knee replacement surgery at St Vincent's in early December, I spent 2 weeks at Mt Wilga rehab hospital. Then over the last month, I have had 2 rehab sessions a week as an out patient. The quality of the care and professionalism of all staff has been outstanding. From a patient perspective, the hospital staff, especially the OTs and Physios, demonstrated great teamwork and a high level of professional competence. They are very good at what they do..!Their friendly but professional approach really gets you engaged in the process of working to get better. And that's what it's all about.I can't recommend Mt Wilga more highly. Terrific patient experience.
James Bentley: Rather indecisive. Long wait times. The waiter didn’t seem to care about our table and took back the food after he’d delivered it to the table and before we had taken a bite. Can’t recommend. If you can, avoid and find a more efficient service.
Daniel Muñoz: good place
Mudguts Mudguts: Great place for rehab
Peter DeKlerk: Spent eight weeks in rehab during 2016 and felt sorry for myself when time was up. Top place with dedicated staff. Must find a reason to return!
Pat W: *** This facility does not handle emergencies ***An excellent and well-staffed facility with great equipment and staff with a great attitude.
Yvette Allen: The staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble.
Aussi Vazza: I stayed at Mt Wilga from September 15 to 21, 2015. During the stay I had a lovely spacious double room to myself with windows looking out across pleasant gardens. I had my own very spacious ensuite bathroom with everything well set up for a person with a disability. 90% of the nursing staff were fantastic and the other 10% responded very well to my complaints in order to make me happy. The physiotherapy and occupational therapy were similarly very good. It is a shame that I could not say the same for the archaic communication available. Trying to get mobile phone reception was terrible requiring me to go outside into the car park to send text messages. To make things worse Internet provision costs $10 per 72 hours or $2 for 20 minutes using a computer in the patient common room. Internet should be free considering the woeful mobile phone reception especially since you are charged $25 for incidentals during your stay. You do get a free newspaper each day and a phone in your room for making free calls to local landline numbers. Unfortunately, our population now uses mobile phone numbers more often than the old landline numbers. In summary a terrific place if you don't mind paying $10 every 3 days for Internet so that you can use that for messaging and calls via WhatSap, Skype or similar.
Kath Nowland: My mother was very happy during her 2month stay. So much so she would liked to have taken up residence. Thanks to the staff who have looked after so well
Anna Spencer: My father is currently an in-patient at Mt. Wilga Private Hospital. The environment here is a very happy one, with pleasant and courteous employees in every department, from the receptionists at the front desk, to the nurses and ancillary staff, as well as the workers in the cafeteria. The food is excellent and plentiful, both for patients, and for visitors in the cafeteria. The rooms, which are spacious and clean, are mostly single, with private facilities. The nursing staff and doctors, whom I have encountered, are all very helpful and conscientious. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.Mt. Wilga hospital, a rehabilitation hospital, has a very good reputation. I only hope that the staff can help my Dad to walk again - soon! It is a long trip there every day, by train and bus, for me to visit him!My father will be leaving Mt.Wilga Private Hospital on Monday, for a beautiful facility, Bupa - Roseville. It is easily accessible for me to visit and I think Dad will be happy there. He seems to like Mt. Wilga so much, that he is reluctant to leave! The staff have all been exceptionally kind, both to him and to me.
