College of Professional Psychology: what do users think?
Sarah Shah: COPP have been such a wonderfully uplifting and warm support throughout the psychology internship process. They have allowed me the opportunity to feel into the pathway in my own time and in a way that is in line with my values. I have felt such gratitude for the opportunity to continue forward with my professional registration whilst also maintaining balance across the other important areas of my life.In addition, the resources provided (library access, testing materials, 6-monthly personal development residentials, administration and supervisory staff) are also available to ensure you have all that you need to complete the requirements of provisional registration. The staff know who you are by name and will work with you in whatever ways you feel you may need to make it through to professional registration.Thank you COPP. I feel so happy that I decided to remain open to the possibilities of your program :) It has been a time of expansion, growth, friendship, and satisfaction, and I look forward to what will unfold from here.
Chanel Nagy (Chanel N): I have been completing my internship with COPP for over one year now, and I cannot speak more highly of them. COPP has friendly, professional and supportive staff and offer services which have been fundamental to my growth as a provisional psychologist. COPP are a "one stop shop" in regards to providing services to meet the requirements of AHPRA for the 5+1 or 4+2 psychology internships. They have always responded to emails and queries quickly; and more recently offered a great deal of support regarding a work role that was a disaster (quite frankly!). Well worth the money - I'm not sure I could have navigated the internship without them.
Sylvina Borda: COPP has been an absolute lifesaver. As an international applicant for provisional registration, I initially felt intimidated and overwhelmed by AHPRA and its procedures. The staff at COPP are incredible: knowledgeable but also personable, they truly believe in giving back to the profession by mentoring the next generation. Director Lawrence got personally involved and helped me in my communication with AHPRA. The workshops COPP offers are held by psychologists specialised in a variety of fields, and do not only teach you all the competencies required to complete the tasks required throughout the internship and pass the exam, they also gave me a variety of clinical skills that you couldn't get out of some webinar. The library of psychometric tools was brilliant, and made finishing all those reports so much easier. But my favourite part has to be the sense of community between the interns. I treasured the networking and exchange of information, and just plain validation my fellow interns provided.I would recommend COPP to anyone who is looking for a supportive community and appreciates value for money (look up the price of individual supervision, professional development courses, and a WAIS IV, and you'll realise COPP is a bargain).
Alison Lau: I have joined COPP as a provisional psychologist undertaking the 5+1 pathway. It has been a very enjoyable experience so far as they organised all the AHPRA paperwork for me as soon as I got my internship, and they know how AHPRA works which is amazing because it took so much stress off right off the bat even just for the administrative aspects of the internship. They have a wide range of supervisors available so you could try some sessions out with them, and change them depending on the fit- which I would imagine would be a very rare opportunity if you are just out there on your own as a provisional psychologist doing this all on your own. They cover all your PD hours as well, which I really appreciate because you undertake their workshops that are so practical and complements what you would have learnt from your 5th year. All in all, I'm happy I made the decision with them because I would advise everyone to undertake your internship year(s) surrounded by professional support ...and peer support as well, whom you'd meet at those workshops they organise!!
Amanda Sturrock: Fabulous, experienced, supportive staff who offer both practical skills and academically rich content to meet all registration requirements. Diverse student population, who are offered individual mentoring to reach the high standards required by COPP. Values driven organisation putting student well being back into Psychology training. The trainers are not just academics, but clinicians, and passionate Educators-of-Psychologists. I love seeing those already working in the field, as compassionate scientist-practitioners, who want to give back to the profession by training the next generation.
Nirali Maru: The college has provided me with support in a number of ways which I would not have been able to achieve if I was on this journey on my own. The supervision, learning materials, networking with other students and support provided in navigating through the internship has been great! I would highly recommend for students wanting to obtain registration either through the 4+2 or 5+1 to join the college. Being part of the college has been a very rewarding experience.
Kiera Jones: Cannot speak highly enough of COPP and the fantastic support that they provide. They have been providing excellent knowledge and guidance from day dot. From the placement support team, to all of the different types of supervision, to the amazing residential professional development weeks, COPP ensures you feel supported, and are gaining all of the relevant skills and competencies for your registration. If you are considering the the 4+2 or 5+1, definitely get in touch with them!
Alice McCarthy: COPP is so helpful and worthwhile. They always stay calm when I'm trying to navigate the internship. I have a busy life with a young family and as someone who is nearing the end of my provisional registration, I don't think I can say enough about how helpful this has been.
Marina M: I enrolled with COPP a year ago to complete my psych registration through the 4+2 pathway. It was the best decision I took. COPP staff are always so approachable, super supportive and very knowledgeable. They run workshops and training sessions for distant interns to ensure they meet AHPRA requirements and prepare them for the national exam. COPP has very good supervisors and treat interns as equals, not students, which I find very respectful and encouraging for interns to become the best psychologists. If you are considering the 4+2 or 5+1 pathways, I would highly recommend getting in touch with COPP as they are the BEST.
Mae Vorster: I have been registered with COPP since May 2019 and it has been nothing but a seamless experience so far. As an international student, there is already a lot pressure regarding registration procedure and COPP has taken any guess work out of the AHPRA process. I attended my first residential at the end of October and the clinical content was not only appropriate but of a high standard. COPP makes more than an effort to meet the requirements for AHPRA (4+2 or 5+1 pathways), they build competencies and confidence in you that you didn't you were capable of developing. A highly recommended organisation; incredibly professional with highly skilled staff and good work ethic. For anyone pursuing general psych registration, this organisation is the way to go.
Kaitlin Scott: So thankful that I enrolled in the 4+2 with COPP. They have been incredibly helpful throughout my registration and have assisted in every way possible to make the two years run smoothly. They have great and friendly staff that will help in any way they can and provide interesting and engaging professional development!
Anindita Singh: COPP has been instrumental to my progress in the 4+2 internship pathway. They provide assistance with registration, allocate suitable supervisors, offer great resources via their digital library and provide the opportunity to refine professional skills through workshops. I moved states to get a role suitable to support my registration and COPP’s ability to provide resources regardless of my geographic location was a real bonus for me. I highly recommend COPP to anyone thinking of taking the 4+2 or 5+1 pathway to general registration.
Dora Abbondanza: Great support for your pathway to general registration. Staff are awesome. Can't imagine doing it on my own. It's a one-stop shop from supervision to PD workshops to AHPRA requirements and exam. The residential workshops are a great way to get hands on learning experience, meet like-minded provisional psychs and build your network while getting your hours up. Thinking of 4+2 or 5+1? These guys are great.
Ozkan Volkan: Absolutely stay away from COPP. Explore the option of an individual/private supervisor these guys are taking advantage ones lack of knowledge. The 4+2 & 5+1 are very basic courses, that if one puts time and effort to understanding it before embarking it they will understand it. You are psych grads for God's sake!!!!Lawrence is an A grade salesman COPP does not offer anything more than any intelligent individual can achieve on their own. Which COPP does not help you achieve nothing they only link you with a supervisor and the worst professional development 🤦‍♂️They make promises like we will help you find a job, they do not do that. The reality of psych is the beginning is difficult you will have to work an undesirable job, but paying 12k on top of that a year to admin workers who have understood your 4+2 or 5+1 guidelines is an absolute rip off? You are doing nothing but making Lawrence richer.
Basmah Kahil: Very approachable and proffesional team. Willing to help, and provide adequate information about their program. Thank you.
Gregory Joosse: Very happy with the course, great experience

Australian College of Applied Psychology- Sydney ACAP: what do users think?
april dimovitch: I am half way through my bachelor of counselling at ACAP and have thoroughly enjoyed my experience
Chhoezin Lama: The best decision of pursing my masters of social degree with ACAP… mostly with experienced lecturer in the field of social work made more difference in learning social work in more depth … thanks to all the lecturer who help me grow as a person to become a confident social worker in further … cheers to ACAP ..
Tanja Tzanis: I studied at ACAP somewhat 20 years ago.I couldn't wait to study there again to be disappointed and I'm only in my second subject in my new course.Different lecturers mark students that aren't their own creating much inconsistency. Although I thought the lecturers were great last term, it's obvious there aren't enough resources when the same PowerPoints are used for both the lectures and tutorials.
Angela Metcalfe: I was looking to retrain in an area of interest as a mutate age student and mother of two children under 5. ACAP provided me with a flexible way of studying. 7 years after enrolling, I graduated with a Counselling degree. I am now working in a field that I am passionate about and challenges me in every way. I am a more rounded person having completed this degree. ACAP made this possible.
Mona Ibrahim: one of the best places
A H: its my 2nd semester here in ACAP studying masters in psychotherapy and counselling. i love it here. so much better then macquarie university.
therivercake: Into my second year of study now, so here are pros and cons:PROS : Helpful teachers, portal easy to use and navigate once you get the hand of it, admin not bad, course is wonderful studying Bachelor of social work, accommodating if you're sick and need extensions, always helpful when calling.CONS: Some teachers don't communicate with students when they are not attending class, which feels a little disrespectful.
Yvette Elliott: Loved studying at ACAP and the educators are so insightful.
Shaun Anthony: After studying for six years the college takes six months to send out transcripts and certificates. Leaving students in limbo unable to apply for work. The college was amazing in 2015, 2016 but then decided to go more online only, with very little support for students.
RIEG Wang: One of the best school for Social Workdegrees
Kodi L: I'm currently on my second trimester with ACAP and the experience so far has been amazing, all the educators and staff are super friendly and always going the extra mile to see that students succeed.
Miss Understood: If I had my time again I would go elsewhere. If you work full time don't bother with this school, they now have a habit of changing things in the term with no notice and your employer will not be impressed. If you have kids you should also rethink it. What began as a wonderful, flexible and supportive school has turned into something awful. You are now paying a premium to basically teach yourself and don't expect any interaction with online class mates as discussions on topics don't happen. 3 years ago I would have rated this place 5/5 now a 1/5 is being generous. The best lecturers have all gone and now you have very questionable department heads that you can assume no one else wants to work with anymore.Very sad because this place was amazing. Not sure how it all went so very wrong.
Daniel: Placement coordinator for MSWQ is terrible. Had issues with my place that I was doing my work placement so I called her and explained the situation. She basically told me that I am a student and need to act like such (basically put up with the bullying and micromanagement). I guess this is what ACAP stands for. Nothing but a business at the end of the day.
X Onarres: I mean the user interface isn't the best but in contrary to popular belief... the admin team are fine. I've has great luck with Beau he's incredibly helpful and willing to explain things in detail without making you feel like a hindrance. iIn saying that, I have called up in the past and received unprofessional service but its only been once out of the 4 times I've called. (All 4 times being really straightforward and informative)I feel that there definitely is a discrepancy with the quality of customer service and staff knowledge but I suppose I could politely request for someone else or in the worse case, call back and hope for someone better!
julie jules: Really awful college. They have a great website and sales team, so new students will show up. But the actual course is horrendous. Most of the lecturers don’t speak English as their first language and it is painful to try learn anything. The student support never ever responds to any emails, messages or calls. Good luck trying to get a time in with a tutor, she’s too busy blocking up blank appointments so no body can get any help from her. Honestly wasted $10,000 here and am not happy about it. I’ve withdrawn and gone to another university. Get your act together ACAP.
Wendy Wang: Just called the admin today regarding my documents. The first one was terrible, refused to answer my questions and threatened me that she would end the call (she did in the end after I requested her to explain the process again). I called the admin again to figure out my answers. The second lady was excellent. I believe she works at home since I could hear minor background noise. She checked my details and answered all my questions. If I did not call the second time after being bullied by the first admin, I would give you 0 star if I could. There are definitely some good and bad admins there.
Victor Caramigo: i would never recommend this college to study. it is mercenaries. not respecting the students. I don't go back to studying there
Jessica Almeida: I’m a current student. This college is terrible! They are forcing me to study something that is making me mentally sick. I am trying to cancel my course because I got the opportunity of my life and this course with ACAP drives me to some mental health issues as I’m not happy with my current course. However ACAP doesn’t care. They said I have to keep studying and paying for it until I complete 6 six months of my principal course, which will be at the end of this year (nov/2021). I’ve already been accepted to do the course of my dream, even though ACAP doesn’t want to release me.
C R: I am a current student at ACAP with two years of study to go and I am really, really surprised by all of the negative reviews here.I will admit that I have had a couple of very average educators for a few of my units, and my overall grades for those units have reflected that, but that is not a complete reflection of ACAP; that is a reflection of those educators. Also, other colleges and universities have their fair share of average educators, so this is not something unique to ACAP.That said, at the end of the day, you get out of your course what you put in. So, if your educator is not overly inspiring or passionate, you either need to talk to the appropriate people about that issue or find a way to spark an interest in the unit within yourself. On another note though, the majority of my educators have been such fantastic people who are obviously very passionate about their line of work and have a lot of wisdom and knowledge to share. I am so lucky to have had several great educators this year.A lot of the negative reviews state that the admin staff are terrible but this has definitely not been my experience. Every single email that I have sent to the ACAP student support team has been responded to within 6-48 hours (depending on what information I need) and the assistance received has been great. The same can be said for ACAP IT support. If you require immediate or urgent assistance, which I never have personally, all you need to do is call. I cannot fault ACAP student or IT support thus far.More reviews state that diversity and cultural competence are lacking at ACAP but I have not noticed this at all - most of my educators come from diverse backgrounds themselves and demonstrate inclusivity in every lesson; also, in almost every unit, cultural respect, understanding and competence is a topic of discussion to some degree. For most of 2020, study has been 100% online because of COVID, which is understandably a difficult adjustment for some people, but such repercussions of the pandemic are not ACAP's fault. In fact, for me, the transfer to online study was quite fast and seamless. The only reason I rated 4 stars, not 5, is because there is always room for improvement.
Diana Ginty: I completed every aspect of my course, jumped through every hoop and paid almost $30,000 in fees. I completed my course on 2nd Sept 2020 and was hoping for some acknowledgement so I can register as a counsellor through PACFA. Although my results are in, I need acknowledgment that I have completed the requirements of a Graduate Diploma of Counselling. The automated message at ACAP says to only send emails. Sent 3 emails so far and no answer. Rung someone in Brisbane who said they will pass this on. No one has returned either emails or phone calls. When choosing an Institution ask for the process of when you complete your course how long you will need to wait for acknowledgment. This has cost me a great job as the employer wants some acknowledgement that I am gaining my registration as a counsellor which of course I cannot provide. ACAP publish when Graduation will be but not when some form of acknowledgment. Graduation is in March 2021! As far as I can tell all administration staff are still working through COVID19 so why is it I cannot get anyone to return my messages. I used to recommend ACAP as a place to study to my students but at this end of the process they have really let us down.

UNSW Sydney: what do users think?
Ushy Bushy: This place sucks. Disorganised mess, recycled content for numerous subjects. Subpar and unprofessional staff. I have seen daycare centres with more organisation.
yang ye: 不爱也得爱。
Arina: Made me who I am. A lot to discover, to see, to do. Love this place :)
Phly Ball: Beautiful building! Definitely worth it to wander around.
Jim Lea: I obtained my PhD, Masters and Bachelor of Engineering (1995) from UNSW. I have learnt many practical and relevant skills during my studies at UNSW. The skills were immediately applicable when I joined the workforce in Jan 1996.I have many memorable memories at UNSW.I consider UNSW as one of the best universities in the world and highly recommend this university to potential overseas and local students.
HenryIggy Khush: For being in the top 50 Universities of the world it is a very dead university. Boring labs, bad lecturers, shocking multi-factor security, very disappointed.
Sandra Leethwood: The food here is great hey
Coco Pumar Plus: One of the BEST universities in Australia.I got my TESOL qualification here in 2017.❤️♥️♥️
Nourah: Beautiful campus.
Pritpal Singh: Part of the Group of 8 prestige unis of Australia. Yes the entry requirements are harder and higher than other local universities but it’s simply due to higher standards here
Stuart Fischli: This has to be the best uni in Sydney... Incredible campus with big brand new sports facility
Jack Balcombe: A great university with a high global ranking, modern facilities, and the latest technology. Tools and software that are used by real workers and companies are introduced to students from early on so they know how to use them. UNSW is good for its practical courses that prepare students well for joining the workforce when they leave. They seem to be pretty progressive and aren't afraid to change things up to improve the student experience (although whether some of their decisions eg. Trimesters are actually good is controversial among students). UNSW is a bit further from the city centre than other universities in Sydney, so it could take longer for some students to commute there. But I like the relative peace and quiet of the suburbs around UNSW compared to the busy, crowded city centre.
Lan Lin: Love unsw. Beautiful memories here for 5 years.
notis tsimas: Cst service is alright but the assessment team is rly bad! I don't even feel like spending a minute to explain what happened....
Joseph Macrae: soo slay 😻
ERAGA EBOIGBE: UNSW probably the best University in Sydney a lot to choose from and friendly school mate and staff
Yuyun Yuniar: My campus... This is where I will carry out my doctoral program
Exploreyourworld Highgate67: Over priced for the service you receive , untrained staff , subject outline snot updated with current dates , spelling mistakes, unfriendly staff, there are better options than studying at UNSW, lecturers do not reply my emails, please do not study in this university, when you get trapped please dont say wish i went for other university. or why was i not told that the service was really bad
Antonio Sanchez: did you think the days of piracy were over? well... they aren'tINTERNATIONAL STUDENTS, these guys want your money bad and they will give you as little as possible in exchange for it. (I got nothing).I intended to study a graduate certificate. Only when I paid the enrolment fees, 4000 DOLLARS, they disclosed the availability of the modules that comprised the certificate. All the modules that I intended to study were full so I thought I would get a refund... Guess what... they STOLE my 4000 dollars and offer no compensation for it. (I asked them to offer me other courses such as public speaking…)it is important to note that they only disclose the module availability when they get the hand in your wallet, prior to that there is NO INFORMATION/WARNING.As an indication of how BAD this institution is just try to contact them... The student support is horrible, long wait times and unqualified people. Again, if you are an internal student don't waste your money here. This institution gets good ratings just because relative to other institutions in this country it is better:"In the world of the blind, the one-eyed man is king."
George Argy: Best university in Sydney!
