Inner Strength Therapy: what do users think?
Misha: I started my healing journey with Stephen about three years ago, and from our first session, I instantly knew that Stephen was unlike any other therapist I had encountered before. His care extends beyond the surface - he cares about those who seek his help on a genuine level that is not only rare, but makes all the difference in someone like me, who had avoided truly healing and confronting my inner traumas for a long time. When I had experienced a traumatic loss a year after commencing our sessions, Stephen was there for me every step of the way. His understanding, emotional intelligence, compassion, and patience helped me process my grief when I lacked true support in my life. He has not only saved my life in many ways, but he continues to save the lives of others by being who he is - not only as a professional, but an exceptional human being with the most authentic empathy and sincerity that one can sense upon meeting him. He is the guiding light in the lives of all those he helps and cares for; his compassion has paved the way for the inner strength that symbolises this journey of healing for all of us who have experienced deep trauma in our lives.I highly recommend that if you are someone who has always felt invalidated, unheard, and neglected..that you reach out for help and consider Stephen as your therapist. I can say for certain that it is with genuine gratitude that I found Stephen as my therapist.Thank you for helping the souls in need of help find their way back to themselves; to learn to love the parts of ourselves that we thought we never could - that is the greatest gift one can give.We truly appreciate you Stephen for making this world a better place so that someone like me, those of us who grew up feeling like we could never heal, could see there is still a place in it left worth fighting for.
Martina Hegarty: Stephen guided me through some of the darkest years I have ever experienced with compassion, empathy, and support... There were tears, but also a lot of laughs over the last 4 years, and I'm so happy to report my life has done a complete 180 turn with his assistance. My life would be very different without Stephen's support, and I'll be forever grateful! Highly recommend Inner Strength for easy, non-judgemental chats.
Sarah Morrison: Stephen does a wonderful job of listening, helping you reflect on what going on for you, teaching how what's going on for you in the present day has come about and how to make the changes to be the person you'd like to be. It all comes from you if course but he supports you to get there. I am forever grateful for his help.
Steve Lawson: Spending time in therapy with Stephen these last four months has proved to be a most wonderful gift to myself. Stephen has the ability to create a safe and caring space - for me within the first session. He helped me to understand the connections between early childhood trauma and so to make sense of the challenges and craziness of life nearly 70 Years later. With his insights I am developing more effective life skills and self compassion. I found Stephen to be a very professional, caring and warm hearted therapist and am very grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him.
Reyhan Akbar: Brilliant, simply brilliant.Stephen made it so comfortable and made me feel safe from day dot.His gentle nature, and approach was fantastic.Honestly, couldnt ask for anything more.
Jarred Sferruzzi: I can't rave enough about how amazing Stephen has been. I've been seeing him for four years and have appreciated every moment. I've learned so much about myself, and have developed both personally and professionally. I can't thank Stephen enough for his support and help, and cannot recommend his services enough.
Vina Siri: Stephen is one of the few therapists that could really guide me through the challenges I wanted to work on. I definitely have him to thank for feeling strong and good today :)
Chris Hammond: Stephen is an incredible therapist. I always look forward to my weekly sessions. His suite is very comfortable and Stephen is very good at making you feel at ease and relaxed. I’ve been going to Inner Strength for around 18 months pretty much every week. I can honestly say I am enjoying my journey and Stephen has definitely helped me through some big challenges. Brilliant guy I recommend highly.
Daniel Wang: I’ve had an amazing experience with Stephen. He has a calm, trusting approach, with insight that’s helped me have many, many breakthroughs with things we discuss. He has worked closely with me to navigate my past and understand some deeply-rooted behaviours and thought processes that affect me (But it’s never felt clinical or prescriptive). He’s helped me understand and work through questions of who I am, why I act/react in certain ways and how I can work through past trauma going forward. I’ve made what feels like years and year of progress in months.I continue to see Stephen, can’t recommend him highly enough.
Myron Papadopoulos: Stephen is a very professional and awesome therapist. He helped me navigate, understand and tackle the after effects of how a traumatic event in my childhood led to certain behaviours that I developed up to adulthood. He not only looks at the trauma but also how events in the present day can relate back to the trauma. He got me to reflect within myself more deeply and to understand the situation not only from my perspective but from multiple perspectives, in order to develop sense of self, to understand how my emotions or reactions can affect others and when to and not to take responsibility of actions from others. The skills that I learnt from Stephen to help me develop my sense of self and to tackle everyday life are being utilised everyday and are important skills to have developed. All in all Stephen is a very empathetic, awesome and professional therapist and I highly recommend him. Thank you for everything!
Lauren Stinson: Stephen helped me navigate a distressing time in my life when I had to make some difficult decisions, reset and prioritise myself. Stephen's support gave me some clarity and calm which in turn empowered me to make healthy decisions and feel good about them.Thank you for being so easy to speak to, Stephen :-)
luke barry: Stephen is amazing at what he does and has helped me progress past my mental health issues.. Couldn't recommend him enough
Maria Lamari: I highly recommend Stephen. From the moment I walked in for the first time, I felt incredibly comfortable. He has a warm and empathetic approach, listens intently and gives feedback that helped me put things into perspective, gave me clarity and the ability to look at situations with new eyes. He has enabled me to move forward in leaps and bounds from things that had me entangled for many years. Stephens layback and casual approach has you forgetting the fact you are actually at a therapists office.. his smile is infectious and no matter the mood I walked in.. I would leave feeling uplifted for the whole week. I have seen quite a few therapists over the years and Stephen is one that I would put at top of list. He is a kind compassionate authentic and genuine therapist and Im so glad I've had the opportunity to work with him.
Alexander Pearce: This is my story of why I couldn't more highly recommend Stephen to anyone looking for a counsellor. At the worst point in time when my entire life had been completely turned upside down, I found out my counsellor quit and I was left searching for a new one. I remember searching and it seemed that time and time again Stephen's website kept coming across, from one source or another, and finally I called him. The phone call from me, was more like an interrogation, as I wanted to make sure he was able to help me out. Throughout the phone call he stayed very calm and professional, which astounded me and from there I made an appointment to see him.I remember that first appointment, I was anxious about whether or not Stephen would be the right one to help sort out my problems. Those thoughts were gradually put at ease by Stephen's ability to not only listen to my problems, but show empathy towards my situation. As time progressed, I began to see that he is genuinely very compassionate and honest. I appreciate that he has this innate ability to get you to see things differently without telling you might be wrong. How the journey ends is yet to be seen, but Stephen has helped me sort through my muddled life more than any other counsellor has.
Mathilde Magnier: Stephen helped me in a critical time of my life. I felt completely stuck, physically and emotionally, and wanted to change but somewhat couldn't. His empathy, patience, skills and life experience helped me trust him rapidly, and together and thanks to his expertise, we unpacked baggages, and re-wired my thought patterns to create a healthier mental foundation.Stephen taught me to take control of my life and trust my gut feeling and myself again, which led to me taking big life decisions I was terrified of. 8 months later, I can only thank him for his support and guidance as they honestly were the best decisions I've taken for myself until now and marked the start of a very beautiful self discovery journey.I've seen a lot of therapists throughout my life but what really made a difference with Stephen is that I felt that he genuinely cared. I completely recommend Stephen, he's such a great person and therapist.
Amber Taylor: First of all, I would give six stars if I could. Stephen has really helped me get to a place I didn’t think I could get to, the progress that I have made with him over the past few months will help me for years to come. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has helped me understand a lot of the “why’s”, especially with issues I had in childhood. I can’t recommend him highly enough!
Lucy Matto: I came to Stephen to unravel and understand some of my behaviours that I had developed due to issues in childhood. I can not express enough how knowledgable and empathetic Stephen is - he has helped me understand and address parts of myself that I struggled with, up until now. I would highly recommend Stephen to anybody, he is warm and engaging but remains highly professional through out.
Christopher Lang: I was referred to Stephen by a friend of mine and he has been a pleasure helping me with my post trauma experiences in moving forward in a safe, professional and empathetic manner. Would highly recommend.
Helhen Nolan: I was referred to Stephen Moore 3 years ago for trauma counselling and I found him to be kind and professional. I was a bit reluctant to open up at first as it meant trusting someone, but I soon warmed to his sensitive, empathetic yet practical manner. For anyone feeling that desperate ache of loneliness and sadness, I would highly recommend Stephen.

Sydney City Psychology: what do users think?
Pedro Gomes: Really enjoyed my time and business with Sydney city psychology from the admin to the staff. The admin were very helpful in advising my GP (who didn’t know) how to fill out a MH plan for group therapy, educating her kindly about my eligibility. I did an ADHD course with Aspasia who was really kind, helpful, knowledgeable, inclusive and all round great communicator. Really liked my experience.
Sean Lawrence: A very good place to go.
emma whelan: I cannot recommend these guys more highly. Cassandra and Emily must be commended for helping run things so smoothly. I’ve worked one-on-one with Natalie and it has really been a transformative experience. I have learned so much about myself and she has supported me skilfully through some rough transitions with care, empathy and humour. I’ve also participated in the online group course “calm in the storm” with Carly who was excellent. It was wonderful - I learned really useful, practical and workable strategies. The group dynamic was great - warm, supportive and great rapport. Thanks for all you do SCP ♥️
Rachael Waters: Highly recommended for workplace workshops, they did an amazing job for my team.
J N: I had a great experience with psychologists at Sydney City Psychology, they helped me better understand my ADHD and I gained lifelong skills to maintain my mental health. Highly recommend.
Nicholas Gray: Have had a great experience and met with many accomplished and helpful counsellors and services. Very professional and comfortable settings, backed with very current evidence based approaches. Definitely would recommend.
Edward Lonsdale: Super professional and helpful. Would recommend to anyone in need of a highly qualified and top notch psychologist! 5 stars!
Rose West: Highly recommend Sydney City Psychology for both ADHD group and individual sessions. My experience over the last 12 months has been amazing. Thanks
Christian Bonett: My experience with the clinic has been very professional, caring and considerate. The adult ADHD program has provided me with fantastic strategies to improve focus at work and life in general. I highly recommend the clinic and all their practitioners.
Fiona Lavan: I went to see Natalie after the death of my husband. I didn't want pity, just practical solutions to navigate my way through the grief. I can't recommend Natalie enough - she was great!
Emily Maguire: Natalie is a caring and highly competent psychologist. Only good things to report about this practice. They put patients needs as the top priority. I really felt looked after.
Edward SR: They charge to much for what they do. They just rock up and deliver the most basic strategy that you’d expect from a highschool counsellor. The things I’m reading far superseded the Knowledge of my psychologist. My sessions were being cut short when I thought the counsellor was using a technique called an “enactment” . The psychologist answer was no I just felt we achieved enough that day. Completely careless behaviour from someone who should know better. They shouldn’t be called psychologist because the level is that of Counsellors , stay away and get a counsellor for a third the price.
Mohamed Ali: This practice puts profits before patients.
Sian Carmichael: Cannot recommend this place enough! From the very first phone call with the lovely Cassandra I knew I was talking to the right people. She helped me decide who would be the most suitable person for my needs and requirements. She matched me with Alexander who has been so understanding. If you are looking for a psychologist definitely give them a call!

Sydney Clinical Psychology: what do users think?
Anna Rachel Leite: I had my appointment canceled by doctor Cassandra when I was already at the door because I was 15 minutes late. Very confused about the work ethics around duty of care for patients dealing with mental health issues if they refuse to see you for up it appointment. I’m glad my condition didn’t trigger any emotional outburst, but I’m concerned about patients that would deal differently by having a therapist refusing to see someone bc of a traffic delay.
