Jonathan Drennan: Genuinely cannot believe the negative reviews which do not in anyway reflect my long period of time with this medical practice. I have been with Dr Alex for over 8 years and he is the best possible doctor I could have asked for. You are never rushed, he actually cares about you and has helped me hugely with my health, genuinely making a key difference in my life. I have sent a lot of close friends here for a reason, and all of them are still patients. I live far away from the practice butI would never change given the care I have had had. I consider myself lucky to be a patient with him. His wife is also an exceptional and kind doctor. My advice, read the long term patients review which gives an accurate and fair reflection.
Sophia: I’ve only ever had positive experiences with Dr Mira, Dr Alex, Dr Kang and the vaccination service that the practice provides - its unfortunate to see negative reviews of Bridgeside. I’ve been coming here since 2019 as it was close to my old work, but I’ve stayed because of the high quality of attentive care.

Sarah Li: Have been coming here since I was a teenager and have been very grateful for the high quality of service. The practice itself is situated in an easy-access location and there is a practice nurse on-site to take blood for testing which is very convenient. Dr Mira is very knowledgeable and committed to her patients.

Michael: Nobody likes going to the Doctor but you will enjoy visiting Bridgeside Medical Centre. It starts at the reception where you'll be greeted by professional & very well mannered receptionists who will direct you to either Dr Alex or Dr Mira who will treat you respectfully and not waste your time, these doctors actually do care. The full time on site nurse always goes above and beyond but during the COVID pandemic was like superwoman. I have been a patient for approx 7 years now.
Emre Bozdurgut: Very disappointed to find out that my GP “went home for the day” when I showed up for my appointment. The explanation the receptionist gave me was that he usually went home early on Fridays. When I asked why she didn’t call me to reschedule, her response was that she asked the GP if she should call me, and the GP said “don’t worry about it”!!!!! Wow I can’t believe the lack of respect and professionalism I have just experienced.
Jakob Waitsi: Got what I wanted which was a doctors appointment and script but had to wait 30 minutes past my scheduled visit in a empty waiting area, just to get a literal 2 minute consultation. On top of that had to pay $90 for that 2 minute consultation.
K Parker: Was warmly greeted as a new patient by the charming receptionist. Unfortunately the style of both the Dr and nurse was perfunctory at best, won't be returning.
Ruidong Zhang: I was told when first visiting this clinic that I only need to pay for the first consultation fee and all the future visits would be free. Coming back from working from home after two years, when trying to make an appointment again, I was asked to pay another $140 to reactivate my account due to being inactive for more than 2 years. I explained that was due to COVID that I have been working from home for 2 years and I was not informed about this policy when I first joined. They insisted the activation fee cannot be waived. This is unfair and inconsiderate practice and I am extremely disappointed by it.
Sergio Zampatti: Always efficient. I find the bad reviews in respect of the receptionist to be quite odd as I have always found her to be polite and efficient.
Qing Dan: I would rate 0 if I can. DO NOT come to this GP. The worst receptionist (old lady) I've ever seen. Rude, bad attitude, full of discriminate against me, I don't know why? Only ask you loudly: Where were you born? loudly ask your age, address (is this related my booking? I felt no patient privacy at all!) She snatched my payment card without nice explaining doing the payment, unbelievable rude. Believing or not, check out other related reviews here.I may draft formal complaint to NSW Health Care Complaint Commission soon and consultant with my personal lawyer.
P N: One of the best doctors in Sydney! Their skin cancer checks are also AMAZING with a high definition camera that records your skin and tracks any changes and can detect any underlying risk of melanoma - a lot more advanced than most GPs doing cancer checks (paid about $100 for this service after Medicare refund). Glad someone told me about it.
Ian Davidson: I've been going here for skin checks for over five years and I find the service extremely personable and professional. The receptionist can appear curt but she is helpful and accommodating. The best skin check technology i've found, all my information is logged on a computer and abnormalities tracked and recorded accurately for the next review.
Cyclone Boom: One of the receptionist was so rude, she mispronounced my daughter’s name and called her by her surname at the end. Our Covid vaccination was at 9am, only let us in at 10.30am. She let all other walks in appointments in who arrived after us. She literally shu me with her finger on her lips when I attempted approach her. Never made eye contact or smile at any time. She need serious training in customer service !!! Very bad indeed. Dr Alex was wonderful though
D-rock: The receptionist(older lady) has a really bad attitude. That's all I can say, on the contrary both the doctor and the nurse were nice to me.
B X: Receptionists are shocking there, they do not even look at your face, very rude and disorganised! I got my second vaccine on the 27th of August 2021 and more than 2 weeks now its still not on the system. I can't reach the practice over the phone, no-one picks it up so I can't even tell them to update my vaccine record. Honestly, its like joke, very bad place to be. They don't care about your health and record obviously.

Adam Amer: I contacted them via email and got a quick answer to my questions and set an appointment to do some travel vaccinations for a trip to Thailand. I paid 250$ for Hepatitis B, Tetanus, Hepatitis A+Typhoid which seems fair. The time of the appointment was respected and everyone (the doctor, nurses and receptionists) were kind and available.I also asked some days later for a signed immunation list and they provided it for free. Idk about the other specialties of the center but the travel clinic works.

Simon Madgwick: I had a nasty looking mole on my leg and booked in to see the new skin Doctor, Dr. Vinh Truong. The service and care he provided was exceptional. Although I was only booked in for a short consultation, I think Dr. T could feel my trepidation at having this (possible cancer) growing on my leg. He took the time to perform a surgical procedure and remove it then and there for a very reasonable price. I know the price was reasonable because I checked with about a dozen other places and all were well over $300 and some up to $500. Dr. T did it for less than $250 and the incision was perfectly straight and Dr. T also took the time to close and stitch the wound to minimise scarring and provide some cosmetic benefit. It’s now 48 hours since the procedure and the wound is healing perfectly. Thanks Dr. T. I’m looking forward to returning in 12 months for my annual check up with my newest and bestest skin Doc. 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Bhabin Khatri: This place is a joke. I went to the pathology yesterday and the person employed there was a real joke.She doesn’t know what she’s doing. The simple blood test, she took several attempts. And now the left hand is so sore that I can’t even move.The veins in my arm are so clear and visible that anyone can see and find them.Because of that I had massive fever whole night, body aches chills. Now who is responsible for that?I am not an object to do experiments for a Lerner. It’s my body which is important to me. They should be ashamed of hiring that person and employ them who has no clue what they are doing.I would like to request everyone to think twice before going in there.Very disappointing and upsetting behaviour.

Matthew Keyte: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Terrible service, breaking duty to client. After advising him that I was suffering for jetlag and have used melatonin in the past, he said I was exhibiting drug seeking behavior and hung up on me after 30 seconds of consult time. I hope he did not collect his fee for this. Just to be abundantly clear, it is not about the fact that he was unable to prescribe, it is his unwillingness to assist the resolution of a health problem that I am suffering from.
Aoife Quinn: I went to get an IUD removed.Dr Yan Zhang was very friendly initially. However, when discussing why I wanted the IUD removed she told me the IUD was not related to acne which is contrary to all information I have read on valid medical sources and heard from other medical professionals so I instantly was questioning her knowledge.She was unsuccessful in completing the removal of the IUD as it was too far into the cervix. This is quite common so I always knew this outcome would be a possibility. However, her reaction to the unsuccessful removal was not expected. She suddenly turned hostile and cold. "Get up and get dressed" is the only thing she said in a tone of voice that inferred she was disappointed or annoyed at me. I had to clarify what she meant by this, asking "can you not get it?".Having dressed and sitting awkwardly infront of her like a school student in trouble for something I wasn't aware I had done, she asked what else I wanted from her. I said I had booked in a full women's health check in addition to the IUD Removal. She asked, "what do you mean by women's health check, this can be many things, tell me specifically" in an arrogant and fed up tone making me feel stupid and belittled. I said I had never got one before and I wasn't entirely sure what they included. She said she would give me a referral for an ultrasound to ultimately check where the IUD was positioned and when I asked about blood test referral (as I assumed this would be a component of a full health check) she said she would give me that when I return after my ultrasound had been done. Unclear why this would be, potentially more money for her? Needless to say I will NOT be returning. I have thick skin for a young woman but this experience really shook me and I left on the brink of tears. The aim of this review is to warn other women about visiting Dr Yan Zhang, go elsewhere where you will be treated with dignity and respect.

Hai Yi Zheng: Very nice staff, but some receptionists give a better estimate on the wait than others.
David Lyon: As many others reviews this practice receptionists, it was horrible experience.I call for booking but won't tell you where is easiest available spot so I booked through from other practice location. The day of booking, 4-5 receptionists at front counters but no one actually serve so people has to line up each time. While I am waiting one lady asked for result report to different doctor due to no availability of referral doctor. The receptionist told no record of the doctor she provided in their system. Lady ask them to call but this receptionist (with scafe) refused to do and ask doctor to call them back when doctor need result. But looks a little panic whole receptionists . Because my waiting time is quite long even I booked my appointment, I also saw same receptionist handing out result image without calling patient name so she obviously mixed up patient. Lucky the patient checked name of envelope and noticed her mistake. She did not apologised, gave other person without checking for name.When I leave this practice, I overheard one of patient received empty result image sealed envelope. Don't know why and how end up but it's enough reasons to shear my experience.
Esther Goh: Staff are unfriendly and unhelpful. When I called they cannot even tell me when the next available for a MRI is. I must submit the referral first. Their process does not make sense. Why would I send a referral over if I do not know if the date they provide would suit. Change your protocol. Provide your clients available possible dates and if it suits us, we will send the referral. Lady on the phone was rude and abrupt.
Sheila Parkins: I've gotten several different diagnostic scans done at the Kogarah location over the years, and right now I consider them my go-to place for this kind of thing. The reception staff are reasonably friendly, prices are reasonable, and the staff that do the imaging are often quite friendly and put you at ease.

rainey xo: Does not surprise me one bit to see the negative feedback about the receptionists of this practice.Called in the morning to book and appointment, when asked if I had been there before I told them I hadn’t. My details were taken and the receptionist I spoke with confirmed my 1.30pm appointment.Arrived on time only to be scolded by another receptionist that should’ve arrived at least 10 minutes before my appointment as I hadn’t been there prior. I told her I wasn’t given that instruction when I had called to make the appointment, to which she scoffed “WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE”.WELL next time perhaps YOU SHOULD take that up with your colleagues and ensure THEY are following the correct protocol rather than giving clients (new ones at that!) attitude who aren’t at fault. Absolutely disgusting.

Christine Castañeda: Bad service. I was scheduled for a scan at 2pm. I called at 1:49pm this tuesday (12th of july 2022) that I will be running late because I cannot find parking. I called again at 2pm and asked them if they will still accept me even if I will be late and will be at the clinic within 5mins. The reception told me that it was okay. Then I run to the clinic and they told me at 2:08pm that they have to reschedule my scan because I was late. I told them that someone on the phone told me that they will still do the scan. It was really a bad experience and rude receptions that was smirking seeing me catching my breath and really tired despite on my condition. Definitely will not do the scan here. It is better that the reception told the patients that if they cant do the scan then dont come at the clinic because you are late of about more or less 10 minutes.

Stephen Petersen: My doctor arranged for my imaging session (as he was present for the CT scan). I was a bit skeptical about the service after reading these reviews but I was very pleased with every part of the visit. I am from Canberra and NOTHING there is bulk billed so I was pleasantly surprised when I was told it was bulk billed. Based on my visit, I would recommend this facility. Everything was efficient and the staff were friendly and I didn't feel uncomfortable even during a rather embarrassing scan as the staff were very professional.

When mum returned to waiting room her arm was uncomfortable and they had left the tourniquet on her which was very unprofessional. Mum is 88 with dementia.

C U: Possibly the best doctors visit I've ever had with Dr Nigel Briggs. He was extremely kind and courteous and answered all my niggling questions and has helped me come to a hard decision regarding future surgery. He was the picture of professionalism and complemented all the Dr's I had seen before him and explained some of the details they had provided me that I hadn't understood. If I needed to see him again I would gladly do so. Well worth every cent for his professional advice. And he said I was interesting Otolaryngology-wise, which made me laugh on a difficult situation. 5 stars.

Andras Toth: This clinic is typical of the kind of arrogant, careless and money-grubbing private health establishments that solely exist to make doctors rich at the expense of the community. My wife was scheduled for a day surgery to remove two benign breast lumps. On admission, she specifically requested to be treated with special care as she suffers from thin skin and gets long-running bruises and tears. She also asked the anaesthetist (Dr. Deacon) to place the canulae in her hand (as it heals much faster) than in her wrist. After the surgery when she woke up, she found that her arms were full of deep finger bruises as she was obviously treated very roughly and without care, despite her prior requests. The anaesthetist placed a thick canulae in her forearm that caused a deep and long-lasting bruise and scarring that still has not healed three weeks after the procedure. this has been a terrible experience and a clear illustration that patient care comes second to financial gain. On what basis do these doctors (glorified tradesmen, really!!) have the gall to charge up three times the Medicare rate and show no care or concern for the well-being of their often frail and elderly patients? Avoid this place at all costs, you will not be treated with kindness and humanity!!
Georgina Dick: Receptionist Elise or Elissa, very rude and unprofessional. Called from another medical practice and was not accommodating of our protocol needs. Became very blunt and non complying due to the fact she was driving!
Aidana Galiyeva: The most expensive and slowest place to get your ultrasound. I made an appointment, not only they made me wait for 45 minutes but I had to go home without any service being provided since I had another appointment in a different place. Oh! also! they lost my doctors referral. No apologies were received from them for being late and for losing my documents!

One fine morning I met with an accident which I will refrain from taking your time.I landed with X X L multiple injury in St Vincent Hospital. 14 Broken bones and severe trauma.All I am going to write is that, beside my late parents I love them all.St Vincent Hospital staff members showed me great sympathy probably persuming this patient is going to die. Dr Timothy along with rest of the professional crew members built a broken puppet together. They put all their expertise and knowledge at work hence having kept all my sleeping pills aside for an evetual suicide went frutile.I must thank my Creator for letting me live. I am left to pray those from St Vincent Hospital who helped me survive. Today after 3 yrs I am working as a commercial personnel which requires intensive physical competency. I still have the iron rods in my knees + a metal clam holding the bones.left ankel has posthathic inlays built in. The left arm has metal wirings.

Trish Sherbon: I can’t praise Dr Bariol and her team in the endoscopy centre enough. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I was treated with courtesy, thoughtfulness and caring. All the staff work as a team and they seem really happy in their work .

Rachael Sorensen: Really poor experience with Dr Jennifer Dew who works out of this clinic as a Gynecologist. Was referred there by my GP. I paid $300 to spend 15 mins discussing my very serious concerns about an upcoming surgery, Dr Dew was dismissive, not very present, and spoke over the top of me. She didn’t seem to care to listen and even at one point wrote down incorrect medical history. I have no idea whether she’s a good surgeon or not because I decided to go elsewhere after this initial appointment. I wish I had read the reviews about her on web md first. I never write bad reviews but when it comes to poor healthcare I think it’s important for people to be informed.
Keith Gibbons: The reception at the entrance is friendly and helpful, raffle ticket sellers persistent but the place has this overall cold efficiency about it especially the specialist waiting areas where I was told by a receptionist that I was 5 minutes early and disturbing peoples lunch time. A lack of empathy is how I would describe this clinic.
Jenny Richardson: St Vincent’s we have a problem! Way finding throughout the Public and Private facilities to your Clinic and within, is extremely difficult. Whilst many people offer to ‘help’ the majority do not seem to know where to direct you to, nor do they seem to know who to ring to find out. This includes reception staff particularly those positioned at entry points and immediately outside lifts. Once you are inside an actual suite the service is fine but every service appears to operate in complete isolation.

Kate M: The Dr Darveniza just called to give me my results, I wanted mention that I had previously worked on contaminated sites as I did not to get to mention it in my appointment. I asked if I could mention something and the Dr just said bye and hung up. His bedside manner is the rudest I have ever experienced, he has a duty of care to listen to his patients. I would not go back to this doctor. Not to mention the reception never answers the phone and are rude! Extremely hopeless all round. Don’t waste your money or time.

Linda Minotto: Incompetent !I am looking another imaging facility for my CT scan.I called twice to ask for the special 2 day preparation I need to have before my CT scan on Monday. Twice I was told a nurse would call me back. I even replied to the reminder message saying I didnt have the prep instructions. I didn't get any calls from a nurse. I checked my voice mail and text messages. (I thought they called on Friday, but then realised it was my call to them).I called i-med on Sat and they said I can go into bondi junction to pick up the preparation details and powder. However, I was told by staff at Bondi Junction that only a nurse could give me directions on how to prepare for it.
Lynn Hu: I’ll leave no star if I can. Untrained reception staff, very poor customer service, very rude. Blaming customer because the guy didn’t hear my answer. Choose other center if u have a choice.
Liliana Mawer: The reception staff answ answer the phone promptly and are very polite and efficient. You don't wait very long for their walk in X-Ray radiology service. They are much better than Spectrum imaging in High St who don't answer the phone it rings out a lot.

Shawn Lee: Friendly clinical staff let down by billing practices - I'm an international student and a request was made for the imaging request to be at the bulk-billed/MBS rate. Spectrum have never had an issue with this (paid the MBS rate upfront in cash and privately reimbursed by my OSHC provider) but I-MED claims it's a "Medicare ruling" that they cannot do so - unlikely since MBS have no say over how much private bills are. Was charged $100 gap as a result. Would recommend if you've got Medicare AND you clarify that they bulk bill you, but for internationals - stay clear.
J9Phoenix: I have been there several times for investigations and also for occipital nerve blocks and I can say that honestly the entire team of support staff an technicians and doctors have been nothing short of great. Dr Korber is so kind, precise and careful.
Wendy Millyard: I can highly recommend I-MED Radiology - I felt seen and cared for by a sincerely helpful and compassionate team, from reception to the radiologists and technicians who are talented, reassuring and highly skilled, explaining the procedure throughout and answering all my questions clearly and patiently. Thank you for the work you do - it really makes a difference.
Penny Christie: It’s a little bit tricky finding this particular I-MED Radiology Centre. If you are driving here, your only real option is to go into the underground hospital paid parking, take the lift back up to street level and walk back down Easy Street. I-Med is located behind the Neurology building down a path which has a boom gate at the beginning of it on Easy Street. The entrance is tucked to the left of this particular path behind some trees and plants and other small signs pointing the way. Service was great.
Carmel Flaskas: I needed an ultrasound-guided procedure. Excellent experience, from the friendly efficient reception staff through to the nurse and doctor. The fee was covered fully by Medicare, so no payment - which surprised me, as another imaging service had quoted a high gap fee.
