Sia: Multiple storm water runoff falls into this canal, it’s more of a canal than a river. Not the best place to kayak as the water stinks however it’s flat with not much current

Marion Cowan: It has my surname...soo famous u should visit the area..😍😍
Sean Nairn: Beautiful waterway on Sydney’s northern outskirts, Cowan Creek can be accessed via a range of Bushwalks in Ku-Ring-Gai Chase National Park. These walks vary in length from 10 minutes (near Appletree Bay) to 3 hours or more if you do the Berowra to Mt Kuring-Gai walk. Best enjoyed early in the morning when you will often be the only person on the track. Make sure to bring all food and water as Bobbin Head is the only food source on the water, otherwise you’ll need to walk up to Berowra / Cowan / Mt Kuring-Gai for supplies.
