Erik Pragt: What a terrible experience was it to buy something from the Good Guys. That Good part really has no point being in their name. We ordered here so they could deliver it to our apartment, which is 3 stairs up. We communicated this with the driver. When he arrived, he refused to take the items to our apartment, and instead dropped them in our hallway. Now we have to find another way to get them in. During the ordering process there was no mention of this at all.Will never order here ever again.

RoostersMan: I called them on Wednesday 24th May and said I have an e-scooter to return, this is my purchase date, it's unopened, can I return it at your store? The female admin member said that would be fine and to bring the receipt. I showed up the same day to the loading dock with my receipt and scooter in the boot of my car. I explained to the warehouse gentleman I had spoken to the front desk and they knew I was returning an e-scooter. He looked at my scooter and said we don't sell that model and he had to speak to his manager. The manager, Sandra, came out to check the scooter and asked for my docket number which I had ready to present. After checking the docket she explained that the item was sent from a different store, which I already knew. I that was the only store that had them at the time of purchase. She said we don't have that scooter in stock at this store anymore so we can't take it. I explained that I called ahead of time to ensure this wouldn't be an issue and the admin member said it was all fine. Sandra then accused me of not providing enough details over the phone to the admin team i.e. the exact model number of the scooter, and that there is NO WAY this scooter is staying at this store. I was completely taken aback by the utter disrespect by this so-called manager and the attitude she was giving to myself, a paying customer.I again explained that I had got the item delivered and did not purchase the item in-store but she was having none of it. She would not even give me any eye contact when I was explaining the situation, she was abrupt with her words and I believe she had no intentions to help me at all for whatever reasons. The store policy says if you purchase from a Good Guys store, you can return to any Good Guys store. This was literally being ignored by this Sandra individual and she treated me with disdain through her absolute disrespect and disgraceful customer service towards a customer. Throughout the conversation she would ridicule me when I misspoke to make it seem like I was discombobulated.She then told me my options were to either return it to the store of purchase, who do not sell ANY e-scooters OR take it to the store that sent it out. Sandra made it very clear that the item could not be returned at the Alexandria store for any reason. I asked for her name and got back into the car and drove off. I cannot believe that a manager employed by the Good Guys could be as narcissistic as Sandra is.Absolute disgraceful customer service, I will not be back.

Antony Makar: When walking into Good Guys Alexandria I was planning on buying a fridge and was supported by two workers under the name of Adam and Mark. They were both very kind and had great communication skills and really displayed their knowledge of the store. Both these workers showed me a variety of features that stemmed from all the different brand of fridges and made my decision making much easier. Both these workers were amazing help and can’t thank them enough for their support .

The problem i found is their dryer machine. As I was used dryer machine so it was not spinning from the first day. I didn’t pay attention. In the March 6th one of brother camer to my place and that time some cloths on the dryer he said to me there is a problem in the dryer machine because its not spinning and stopped. So its should be in motion. That time i realized and called the Good Guys ‘Alexandria’. One lady replied they will send the guy for repair. But they didn’t. Everytime i called them and they said they will. In this month i called them 6-7 times every week. One guy name Adnan received the call and told me i got your ‘Frustration’ its not our hand and the manufacture guys will do it blah blah. Then today the repair person came to place and he said the machine have huge problem and inside of the machine cable is disable. So I called the Good Guys. The same Guy Adnan revived the phone and I said everything and asked for replacement and he told me it’s not their concern. I had to buy extra paid guarantee card from them and I have wait from manufacture company. It’s not their hand. I said I don’t know about this and he said good guys can’t do anything. I called manufacturer company several times and good guys customer service and they don’t pick up calls. It’s one kind of cheating.

L L: The sales guy was quite good and it was relatively quick chat to finalise the price and place the order for a washer and dryer as we have done a bit of price search before hand.The delivery however was a total disappointment.We initially booked for delivery on Tuesday and got a confirmation even the day before. But it never arrived and upon calling them twice (they won’t pick up if you choose the delivery option and you have to go to general enquiry), they explained the assigned delivery guy simply refused to take the job as the product was too heavy. It’s such a joke how the jobs were assigned and managed.Rebooked the delivery for following weekend and it worked out ok.
Sogand Kamani: The delivery team is a nightmare. We purchased a washing machine and was told that it will be delivered and installed the day after. Next day the delivery guy came but refused to install and said my paper only shows delivery. We called the store and they said someone will come tomorrow. Tomorrow comes no one shows up and we call again, we were told someone will come tomorrow. This continues until 6 days later and still no show. The technician comes close to the house based on the text message and suddenly cancels the job. No one is taking responsibility and has no idea what is happening. Very bad experience
Jonah Le Comte-Moevao: In our recent experience with Good Guys Alexandria, we purchased their Premium Delivery service for the delivery of a washing machine. However, our satisfaction with the service was quickly overshadowed by a concerning incident. Despite our explanation that our 6-month-old son was asleep, the driver demanded that my wife come downstairs without providing any explanation. Consequently, my wife and child were left standing on the street with nothing to do, while the driver proceeded to unbox our machine on the main road, displaying a lack of care and professionalism expected of a "premium service". The driver's behavior resulted in our new washing machine being covered in dirt and having a chip in the paint.As a premium service, we expected a higher level of care and respect towards our family and property. While our in-store experience was much better, the experience during the delivery process left us feeling dissatisfied with the service provided. We understand that the delivery company is a third party hired by Good Guys, but we cannot help but question if this is the standard expected by the company's representatives.We would appreciate knowing how Good Guys ensures that its delivery drivers treat customers and their property with the utmost care and respect, especially when dealing with third-party delivery companies. Additionally, we believe that Good Guys should provide more information to customers about what to expect during the delivery process to avoid any confusion or misunderstandings.We urge Good Guys Alexandria to re-evaluate its delivery protocols and training, as well as to hold its third-party delivery companies accountable to the same level of care and professionalism expected of the company's representatives. We hope that this report will help Good Guys Alexandria provide a high level of customer service, which is expected of a premium service.

julian fung: I ordered an item to be delivered and opted for the premium delivery which costs $85, this was booked a week in advance to when I wanted the item to arrive, I took that day off so I could take delivery, 5 minutes before the window of delivery time was due to end, I called the customer service line to ask whether or not the delivery was going to happen to which they assured me it would happen but would be late, I was fine with this because this is the nature of these services. I waited a little while longer and got a txt saying my delivery was a minute away, this was followed by another txt saying that the delivery was unsuccessful. I had ordered this for a birthday present. My work hours are very unpredictable and now I am left without the item a paid for and wasted a days pay.I tried to re book for next day, but it appears that their policy doesn't account for people who have been left in the lurch (and out of pocket for lost work hours), a minimum of 2 days was the best they could offer.Good Guys? Doesn't feel so good right now.
Alper Arslan: I got a fridge and washing machine from here. In store everything was good but delivery and installation was a nightmare. Anc deliveries delivered the goods and John from this company(I doubt if he gave me his right name) was super rude. He didn’t want to install the washing machine. First he told me the washing machine won’t fit there and he has no time to deal with it. Then I made the machine fit. He didn’t want to fit the pipes saying it wont reach to the tap. It did. He gave me the tools and said you do it then. I asked them to leave my house if they won’t be helpful at all. Then he tried a bit but it was definitely too late. Literally the worst experience I have ever had with a delivery guy. Definitely not recommending this company at all.

I am a patient person but after 24 days of trying to get an answer, I have simply given up. I am sure this what they hope their customers will do & the business keeps your money. Don’t waste your time & money, shop elsewhere.
Veronica Atley: Very rude and aggressive delivery drivers - refused to wait 5 min to allow us to make the gate wider - just left with the goods. Don't be alone when they arrive. Store Manager at Alexandria had to be chased up and was non-plussed over the whole thing - Cancelled the order and Harvey Norman got the sale.

peter law: First, replace under warranty, then change to repair when I refused to pay $70 for an extended warranty when fixing the payment.I bought a BOSE earphone nine months ago and it was faulty and unable to charge, so I took it to JBHIFI WORLD SQUARE to claim the warranty. Because they did not have a like-for-like earphone for replacement, I had to choose the more expensive one and pay the difference. When it came to payment, I refused to pay $70 for an extended warranty, as they could not make commission money on extended warranties, so the store manager, Chris Patton, changed the warranty from replacement to repair. Now I have to wait up to eight weeks for the repair. I would advise avoiding JBHIFI WORLD SQUARE.

We gave up and went to good guys in Alexandria and it was great there.We didn't have to wait 10 minutes at Alexandria for service from a person who didn't know what they were doing

I've spent well over $20k in-store in the last few years and will never spend another cent with the good guys or JB as they are happy to screw over the most loyal customers
Chris: Terrible service after purchase. Delivery team was completely incompetent and when trying to speak to manager they deliberately avoided contact. Took work off 2 days with delivery not arriving (even with confirmation online bookings and email evidence/also spoke to team online second time to confirm). Delivery team stated a number of times they would call back and never did (costs 2 days off work). Only upside was installation team was on time and great (once finally booked in). Will never go to this store again and recommend if you can find product you want elsewhere you also avoid this store.
Welcome to Costco I love you: Most of the staff are lovely except 1 who made my biracial child feel uncomfortable by asking where her " tan " comes from. The phone service is rubbish doesn't work, online fails to connect your orders with contact details, my order wasnt processed by they took my money upfront. Multiple trips to try rectify. System is stuffed, not enough staff, under paid. Avoiding from now on

Took a day off to wait for the delivery home, only for it to be cancelled without notice. We had to call the store and wait 40 mins before we could talk to someone. They offered to reschedule the delivery for the next day. Of course, the driver cancelled AGAIN. We went back to the store and of course, they could do nothing but offer to reschedule. We got so mad that we asked for a refund. It’s been a week and we still haven’t received the refund. Called the store and they told us to pay the rest (we paid in 4) before they could process the refund. How ridiculous! The products never reached us, yet they ask us to pay in full before we can receive the refund. Not recommended at all. We bought our appliances from a different store with very friendly staff and home delivery was super easy!
Niki Vasiliadis: The Tempe store is a stand alone store not in a home shopping complex like some of the other stores which is good for targeted shopping and access. The store is well planned and very tidy with all the home appliances and electronics you’d expect.The store offers click and collect service that can be a bit iffy - which is a bit of a running theme for The Good Guys stores as it’s not the smoothest process (orders not ready for collection after notification sent that order was ready for collection, order going missing etc).Parking available onsite and open until late on weeknights.Overall, really good range of products, service can be iffy.

Timeshare Chinchilla: Received excellent service at this store for the purchase of my new Smeg cooktop, oven and dishwasher. Sales team member George did a great package deal and his advice regarding induction cooktops proved invaluable - as my home didnt have the necessary power required to run it. To upgrade wiring would have cost thousands. This saved me a huge hassle if I had bought the wrong type of cooktop. George arranged for the cooktop to be picked up by myself from the Caringbah store that had it in stock. That way I could have all appliances installed on the one day. The contractors used by the GG Concierge service were on time, professional and took all the old appliances and packaging with them. They tested all the products before leaving.

Then, later on they sent me a scratched fridge, which wasn't installed properly. I requested to replace the faulty product, he said can replace it but rejected to install it properly for me, also won't refund the extra delivery fees I paid. What a scam!
Loraine: Went in today to buy a laptop. I think the person who helped me was Brian the Korean man. He was great. But I have to give three stars because of the sickenly loud and awful EDM/hardstyle music playing through the speakers. It was too loud and vibrating the floors. Not everyone enjoys this kind of music. It's not a rave. Please do not subject your customers to awful music.

Helicobacter pylori: Fantastic manager! Last November 2022, I bought an NVR security system online that was defective. The security company and Bing Lee customer service made me jump through some hoops to prove that the NVR system was defective, which I did. However, as I happened to be in Sydney just before Christmas and urgently needed a replacement, I went to the store. The manager was fantastic and gave me a replacement. Sure enough, there WAS an issue with the NVR. Being able to get a new system directly from the store saved me a lot of time as I no longer had to return the system to BL and wait for a replacement.

PraKash S P: PLEASE DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. Very un-professional way of selling products. They sold me a LG NANOCELL 75" TV which has very low brightness and they want me to contact LG if there is any issues and they are not ready to take this faulty product back even the next day you have bought.
K B: Very unhelpful staff. Looking to outfit 2 properties with full kitchen renovations and one laundry. Had to chase up someone to assist me snd even then they were unhelpful and gave the impression I was interrupting their day. Don’t waste your time here. I certainly will be purchasing my appliances elsewhere.

Aaron Holdsworth: I purchased a Fridge and Dryer. The in-store experience was great. The sales rep spent plenty of time with us and we were able to receive a decent discount on the RRP.I did experience difficulties with the delivery. I explained the situation to the Sales Manager and he was very understanding. He was able to arrange for the delivery company to come back and pick up the old fridge.

Helen M: Horrendous experience!!! Staff said they couldn’t help me carry a microwave to the car even though I’m pregnant (the store manager later apologised after my delivery didn’t show up telling me staff should have helped). Delivery of the dryer wasn’t installed despite paying for this (the store later refunded this fee) and ended up being faulty. When it was picked up and a new one delivered the delivery guys smashed my wall and were really rude about it, the store apologised and customer support agreed to pay for damage but I’ve been chasing them for weeks despite them promising to compensate me. I cannot believe how stressful this experience has been and how unprepared customer support is to resolve this issue. Save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere else.
Dain Walker: Purchasing two heaters today, staff too lazy to approach us. They seemed more occupied huddling in a group talking to each other, asked reception for some help. Waited 10 minutes, no help. Purchased two items, reception attempted to stitch me up by attaching a warranty to one of my heaters that I did not ask for. The receptionist argued with me, won’t be coming back.

Luisa Schreck: Don’t bother going here (Good Guys Artarmon). I got quite disappointed in terms of customer service and stock availability on multiple occasions.The only good guys I now go to is the Chatswood store. They are excellent in every way possible. It is worth the extra drive.

Adam McDonald: Delivery was set for Saturday for washer, dryer and fridge... all went well except they didn't bring the fridge as it did not fit in the truck. I was told they would deliver it Sunday instead.Got a text message Sunday morning at 6:51am stating its going to be now delivered Monday between 9:25am and 11:25am...I was out Sunday and got a text around 12pm saying its 5 minutes away, called them immediately and after being on hold for 40min got through to a lady who promised me delivery would now be Monday... during which time I got a text saying we couldn't deliver today because the fridge wouldn't fit. Interesting how they determine this when no one home.So delivery was guaranteed for Monday... and low and behold delivery truck turned up with 2 guys to measure to make sure the Fridge would fit the doorway... but of course, they didn't actually bring the Fridge with them nor did they actually measure anything... just look at the doorway and say yes this will obviously fit and left.So on the phone with them again today for over an hour... told the fridge will definitely arrive tomorrow.... sadly, I doubt it very much.

gez: This business is disgracefully run. Do not expect any after sales care. Staff are cluless as to obligations towards customers. I brought a faulty remote control for my TV back and requested it be replaced by Samsung. This was few weeks before Xmas 2022. Sales guy suggested I deal directly with Samsung. I realise how correct he was due to the complete lack if interest by Good Guys Artarmon. I called in January and after eventually getting to talk to someone they told me the Samsung rep was on holiday and it couldnt be done yet. Sure. Called again mid March 2023. Cannot even get an answer over phone. Staff answer phone, listen for two seconds then transfer to someone else. Go and grab a deal but you will surely observe incompetence at every level of this shonky operation. Reminds me of the time I bought vaccum bags and someone had pinched a filter foam from the pack. The cashier suggested I wait for the product to be returned to supplier for replacement and then come back. It was bananas. I told him to just give me a new pack with all contents. This is an actual true story.Update: Phone operator took my name and number when I asked to speak to the manager. They will call back she joked! Absolute radio silence. I will post again once I inevitably attend the store in person and ask how my warranty claim is progressing.2nd Update: Five days after posting above review they have a remote for me. No box or any packaging just a duplicate of original receipt. So, I guess just a demo remote from the floor stock. The dodginess continues. They could have done this a long time ago instead of pretending to contact Samsung. Its not about the remote, it is about RESPECT. I will try not to shop here but bought some more vacuum bags and noted, as I always, do that Miele vacuum bags ALWAYS have a few boxes tampered with and damaged. It's like someone regularly goes there and steals filters. So weird.

Called for the customer support team and they start passing call to other colleagues just to avoid even though at beginning i was in good mood to speak and listen. But just tranfering calls without saying name and tranfering to new colleagues.. Some of the person who i spoke was on guyz started ro tell lie that other person will solve the issue, and immediately the lady transfered with saying name, then charitra, suzy and sara.. Sara the lady who told me that she will transfer my call to manager but instead handed over to new colleague charitra.. Just waste all the time.. And even it in the mid day.. Where they can still fix the job with closing time.. Just at saying it will be delivered tomorrow.Worst customer support, should be kick out from job... For not doing thier job properly.. And just tranfering call..

Donna Lupu: The worst customer service ever!I was shopping for a fire tv stick and price was showing $59.I waited 50min to get to talk to somebody.Jess appears and I asked her differences between chromecast and Amazon fire tv stick.She was pushing me to buy the chromecast.I said because the package was broken on firestick to possibly discount.She pretended she's speaking to themanager and created a story that the price was wrongly placed there and she can't sell it to me.Jess sent me to another store.So I left embarrassed and disappointed of the customer service at "the good guys" you will find argumentative guys!Don't go there!FYI I still have a picture of the prices.I wasted 1hr for such a bad experience, Misleading and Embarrassing 😳Not even a star!!!

Long Nguyen: My partner and I were looking for a portable air conditioner as our one recently broke down. We saw on the The Good Guys website that there was a Delonghi Brand in stock now. We rang the store x4 times to be hung up on for 4 times. We wanted them to put one aside as we weren't from the local area. We had come up from Wollongong 1h 30mins away. Only to get there and ask the front desk, that there 3 in stock but all of them to be faulty.So why in the first place were they marked as in stock available in store? What a waste of time and bad customer service on their part.We will never be shopping at the Good Guys Moore Park ever again...

Darren Johnston: Decided to take out the gold concierge on my washer/dryer. It broke down and it took multiple phone calls to the store and the concierge team and still I couldn’t take advantage of the service I had paid for in advance. Eventually after over three weeks they contacted the manufacturer of my machine(Bosch,top quality service and they fixed it on the first visit)During those three weeks I had to buy new socks etc due to the demanding hours I work I had no time to go to the launderette t wash my clothes… I was offered no form of compensation or a refund,I’ve emailed them but still haven’t I got a reply. I give up,not the good guys. THE BAD GUYS!! I would never shop there again and wouldn’t recommend any of my family or friends. Very poor!

Should have just gone back to JB Hifi.Product 1 - missing items in the box... that was a fun surprise.Product 2 - Delivered at the wrong time, incorrectly, by incredibly incompetent 'delivery specialists' who kept telling me it's too hard... It really wasn't that hard.They said I would receive a small refund for the missing items and half delivery.... Now they want me to send them my bank details and a copy of my bank statement to get this refund. I love giving copies of bank statements to business who have all my details and previous card transactions.Well done team that was a cracking experience.

That's ok.But that's not enough to get an answer, so you have to go personally to the shop to make the claim and get another delivery guy to pick up the item the next day, he never came the next day, so wait 1 more day.When the delivery guy supposed to finally come, address was wrong on the message. Deilvery guy supposed to arrived too early and nobody was home.Again call the shop to arrange a second time to pick up.Till today I still have the stove and "The Good Guys" it's chilling with my money.I don't have a stove either my money.Poor customer service.Will never recommend.

And turn us away when we even about to ask something.... although we would like to buy microwave and air purifier.... And then Vatika R was try helping us, she said... Siroos Shahriari: I placed an order for a washer. Last month was when it was scheduled to be delivered. It did not show up. When I contacted them, they informed me that there would be a one-month delay in delivery!!! When I contacted them again after another month, they assured me that it would be sent within the next few days, and I am still waiting for the washer!!! Customer service is not helpful at all. Honestly, this was my worst experience ever with appliance shopping.
gaZz Benko: Theses guys sold me a TV by phone.After receiving the TV I rang them to confirm about unpacking instructions.X2 times with the seller who organised the sale and delivery of the TV, told me on the phone the "wrong instructions" which caused damage to the TV.The manager after the 3rd phone call also confirmed the wrong instructions which resulted damage to the TV.Manager said to me they had contacted Samsung and out of good faith will replace the TV due to misrepresentation of The Good Guys staff.Emails and phone calls went silent.. Samsung warranty service than rang me and said they will not apply any warranty service due to the defect was caused by me even though I was told and instructed by the staff at this store which caused the damage.Terrible and amature services who don't even know their own products...Good Guys at Moore Park should be closed and reopened with trained friendly staff.

LaLy 1: Had to get a phone for work. Was lost amongst the sea of phones inside. Was directed to Danielle? (My apologies if I've butchered his name), but he was amazing and had indepth knowledge of the phones available and caters to your specific needs or 'icks'. I did read the Google reviews and was filled with trepidation before I went with my colleague. Would recommend this place, especially for those visiting Sydney for the first time. All members of staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. A little smile, goes a long way. PS; 'D' deserves a raise.

Don't forget to sign up to the free membership to get a bonus voucher on your birthday. While all products are covered by Australia's 1 year consumer warranty anyway I spring out for the warranty extension. I have gotten good replacements due to it.
