Lauren: A friend and I entered recently and we had the feeling we were being followed by a staff member. She didnt greet us (she greeted older people who entered) and gave us the feeling that she thought we were shoplifting? Made us so uncomfortable.

Patrick Zuluaga: I was really looking forward to receiving the four T-Shirts that I had ordered on their online store which allowed payment so one has to assume the products were on stock. The next week I was advised that three of the four items were out-of-stock and agreed to a refund for the three. Next I was advised the remaining order could not be shipped as it had a print defect. So in the end I got my refund (thankful) but I would have preferred receiving my order. Maybe I will give them a chance again in the future, however I will try other Australian gift shops to see.

The majority of their items are definitely on the pricier side, but this is nothing unusual for Monsterthreads. They have many really lovely, unique presents and gifts for yourself too.

Penny Christie: Monsterthreads is the coolest shop I’ve been in. They stock really fun and unique products. You can find a whole selection of Australian themed items that would make great souvenirs for travellers without being a cliche. You can find all sorts of things from clothing, bags, jewellery, baby products, toys, stationery, water bottles, home wares, candles and so much more. It really is a feast for the eyes. The shop is spaced well and everything is grouped in their various themes making it easy to find something you like. This place is especially perfect when you are looking for a quirky gift.

Clandestine Chord: I did order the Best Gift Card for a friend in Australia. As postal services have become rather expensive this is a great way to send gifts to friends in Australia. My friend could not find the digital Gift Card at first so I emailed Best Gift Cards and they resent the digital gift card again. Thank you for your prompt reaction! My Australian friend received it, and so we are both happy now. I would highly recommend Best Gift Cards when looking for a present for someone in Australia. :-)
