Joel Jacobson: Initially saw Dr Parsi back in 2013 and was diagnosed with Schamberg's disease.Tried to book a follow up as the condition has worsened marginally and was told by the receptionist that "Dr Parsi is now focussing on vascular anomalies" meaning he wouldn't see me.I realise Dr Parsi is a foremost expert and is rightly in demand but I feel previously diagnosed patients should not be denied a follow up.Also if the focus of the practise has changed to conditions of a more serious nature (from memory a large contingent of the Bondi Junction clinic was wealthy Eastern Suburbs housewives having their spider veins treated) the name "Skin & Vein Clinic" is now a misleading misnomer.Something more appropriate like Dr Kurosh Parsi - Vascular Surgeon would seem more fitting to an office that rejects follow up appointments due to a focus on "Vascular Anomalies".
Andrew Innes: I visit the Sydney and Vein clinic twice between December and April in 20 and 21 respectively. They were initial consultation and scans which totalled approx 1900 AUD in fees.After this was I was given a treatment program that totalled a little over 15,000 over 5 visits. At the point of the appt you are asked to sign contracts that if you dont attend and do not given sufficient notice you will be charged.This was obviously a large amount of money so I sent an email for some confirmation on the spend by asking for some medical benefits (as opposed to cosmetic) for the treatment. I was looking for some high level bullet points effectively to mentally reassure myself this very significant spend made sense.Post this the reception indicated they had spoken to Doctor Parsi and that I would need to come into for a consultation answer these questions. Its another half day out off the office and another 300 dollars consultation fee. I never responded to this as I thought I would just push on with the surgery given the medical benefits I had picked up via the public domain.The reception (on order of Doctor Parsi apparently) then called me with 2 and and a half business days notice prior to surgery saying that if I am not in there by 6.30pm the next day for a consultation that my entire program of works will be cancelled and need to be rescheduled. Given I have no way to move my schedule the next day at such short notice I have had to forfeit my program of work at Sydney Vein and Skin Clinic because I have not taken a consultation that was not necessary 4 weeks ago when I booked the treatment.Really disappointed by the way I have been treated as a customer to be honest. For the clinic to take such a hardline on something so trivial and providing such short notice on cancelling my treatment, I would find it very hard to hand over 15k of my money to this clinic. The reality is I will probably need to go another specialist now after wasting 1.5 days (when factoring in travel and wait times) seeing Sydney Skin and Vein Clinic and having already spent 1900 dollars with them.
Chell Bell: The treatment i had didnt work at all (disolve a vein - well at least thats what i went for, not what I got!), I was sold the fact that I would require more treatments cha ching ! Not one bit of difference was made. I believe i was taken for a ride. Money would have been better spent elsewhere !

Megan Henry: Extremely thankful for the expertise, professionalism and knowledge of Prof. Kurosh Parsi with Interventional Radiology and Complex Venous Anomalies.I presented from Western Australia in May 2018 with a rare, symptomatic, Complex Venous Malformation of the chest, neck and head including two large saccular aneurysms. This could not be treated in WA.I was reviewed by Kurosh and immediately given a multi-discinplinary team treatment plan forward at Westmead Public Hospital Sydney with Interventional Radiologist Dr Luke Baker that has absolutely changed and improved the quality of my life. John Aspley Davis: I have had several interventions over the last 8 years on both legs for varicose veins. 20 years ago the left leg was stripped twice and I was confined to wear a support stocking every day. Since laser surgery and regular check ups I only wear support for special occasions. Dr Parsi is brilliant , considerate and careful.

Liz Russell: I credit Dr Thomas for saving my leg and most probably my life. I had been referred to a Vascular surgeon who told me that the blockage in my left femoral artery was inoperable and that amputation was inevitable. He dismissed me with a "there's nothing I can do for you ".I was distraught. I joined aP.A.D support group on line , it was based in the US. but has members from all over the world. I was advised that the best V.S. in Australia was Dr Shannon Thomas based in Sydney, which is a 5hr drive from me. I got in to see him within 2wks. He strongly disagreed with my first V.S. Within 2wks I was in surgery with Dr Thomas performing an atherectomy with a stent insertion. The op went really well .I can walk again pain free .I will be having reg follow ups with Dr Thomas as P.A.D.unfortuntely will be with me for life. I have never met a dr as kind and understanding as Dr Thomas,he takes the time to explain everything ,and I felt like he took the time to get to know me personally. I can't thank him enough.

He took wonderful care of me while I was in hospital and even personally cared for wounds that I had come into hospitals with that were not related to the issue I was admitted under his care for.
