Sydney Neurology: what do users think?
M K: If you hoping to see Neurologists who are -*Arrogant*Pretentious*Dismissive of patients knowledge about their bodies* Have disinterest in keeping up to date regarding medical knowledgethen this is the place for you 😉Otherwise avoid this place like the plague. Take your money elsewhere as they have no appreciation of it here. This is actually the worst Medical services that I have ever attended and the opposite of their marketing spin of being "cutting edge, innovative" etcEverything here is outdated....the knowledge, the attitudesA good G.P is actually more helpful than the pompous and insecure 🤡's here
Aaron Stevens: The doctors are great, however the reception staff are the worst I have dealt with. Terrible manners and customer service for a professional health care service.
Bob Smith: No matter when you try to call, a human being never answers this phone and then they tell you not to leave a message or call back knowing full well no one will answer it then either.I have never heard of such an pretentious disregard for patients. Why don’t you allow patients to at least beg for a phone to be answered just to stroke your rock star size egos.Disgusting service.
Joseph Foti: Dr Reddel is very dismissive of any symptoms or results which don't fit a pattern he is familiar with. He refused to do the tests I was referred to him for in fear he would get results he wouldn't be able to explain. Very disappointed. Waste of time and money seeing him.
Chris G: The care of the doctors is great, cannot however say the same for the receptionists, very rude, disinterested and act as though you are a burden upon them for simply exisiting. Smiles and manners are free.
Mez Smith: I have been under the care of Dr Prosser for Chronic Migraine for several years. Very, helpful knowledgable and caring! Certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Jamil M: I am shocked and surprised with the attitude of the PRACTISE MANAGER (RENEE) from Dr Stephen Reddel practise. When I called the clinic to book an appointment, Renee presented herself in a very rude and appalling manners. I am dismayed with her communication skills! She was impertinent and obviously has lack of respect towards the doctors she works for.Renee, if this is how your communicate with strangers, i wonder how you deal and communicate with your family members? You must review your behaviour and seek professional support. I have noticed that your title is a (Practise Manager, please Renee, keep practising, you still have a long way to go)!Anyway, we are delighted that we found alternative neurology practise.
Korrie - Jade: I've been going to Sydney Neurology/MS clinic for years. The staff are always friendly , helpful and accommodating . Dr Jane faith is the best Dr i in had the blessing of having as my Neurologist, she is thorough , caring and very good at what she does . Couldn't recommend this clinic enough .
Eliza Ward: Receptionist is impertinent to people with neurological issues, i called up to ask questions regarding services and prices, i wanted to know what treatment would best suit my case. She interrupted me to tell me i cant do anything without a referral and the initial consult is at least $450. No respect or understanding for the patient concerns. spoke over me to tell me i cant do anything without a referral.for a receptionist to be disrespecting disabled people at the front desk of a medical clinic she's certainly in the wrong place.
Sammara Woolrich: Receptionist /admin staff are rude, arrogant and lack empathy
Michelle: I have been attending Sydney Neurology for years and wouldn't go anywhere else. A well run office full of professional people who know their stuff! 5 stars.
Novella Maleki: Jane Prosser charged my husband $440 to diagnose him with migraines. A GP could have done that. No scans or MRI, completely brushed off my husband's symptoms. Her "solution" was lifelong medication. A simple band-aid for the SYMPTOMS... no ideas or advice re: the CAUSE of these migraines. No helpful advice at ALL re: triggers and management. Such a spectacular waste of money.
Katrina F: I visited Jane Prosser twice and both times I was incredibly disappointed. I felt she did not completely understand what I was going through and brushed off my symptoms. I was sent there by my GP as she is known to be one of the best migraine doctors but it seems anything that slightly differs from the norm, she doesn't know what to do.She was unsure about my diagnosis as I presented with other symptoms and only after being persistent - she then somewhat believed what I was experiencing MAY be causing my migraines.I had also spoken up about numbness in the back and severe lower back pain which she disregarded as irrelevant. I'm not sure how a neurologist could disregard back pain as it may be a symptom of the migraines I was experiencing.Despite asking for a lumbar spine MRI, she declined and said it was not necessary. My GP later wrote me a referral to which now I just decided to get my scans done as I had to pay $250+ out of pocket. It was noted I had a cyst on my S2 and was the reason why I was experiencing so much pain.I don't understand where her duty of care is. I definitely don't recommend Jane Prosser as I found she brushed off my symptoms and didn't seem to actually listen to my complaints.
Steve: Useless, had a referral to see a neurologist 3 weeks ago for chronic headaches and no call back! Very rude reception as well. Have taken my business elsewhere. I just wish I read the other reviews before trying this place!
John Ahmed: Was a bit concerned by some of the Google reviews, which shows why you shouldn't always trust other people's experiences. I have been to 3 appointments and also had a few tests at this place. The staff at the reception desk have always been respectful and helpful. The doctor I see gives me more time and attention than most specialists and clearly knows his stuff. At RPA hospital where I now get my infusion treatments together with a few other people with my neurology problem, I have heard similar stories. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but to be fair at the last appointment they had to get the guy before me over to the hospital with an emergency which took a while.
James Masoud: I wouldn't recommend Sydney Neurology (or comment but its worth warning others) the professionalism & quality of treatment is notably bad compared to all other practices Ive visited both locally & abroad on every front, Im quite experienced. Been here 3 times. Prof Pollard would be turning in his grave. Theyll lose your test results, not chase them up & insist they never happened, (& refuse to look at the receipts in your hand) they'll make admin & resulting medical treatment mistakes serious enough to lead to prescribing convulsant drugs to epileptics. Yes really. On trying to clear up what are clearly obvious errors on their part, youll then have to deal with fairly arrogant & aloof doctors such as Stephen Reddell who offers very little in good advice & listens even less. Prof Pollard would be turning in his grave. To be fair I did eventually get my seizure medication script, but dont bother, if you can Id recommend Randwick hosp/NSW uni instead, infinitely superior.
Q E: the receptionist is very bad. the doctor is not good either. you will give much money if you go to the sydney neurology center. the doctor is not worthy of your money.
Patrick: The place gives you a comfy feel and free from the anxiety you would normally feel when seeking medical help. Some say the staff can be indifferent but it's the doctors you come here for. And the doctors' service you can count on.
Paul Towers: Despite being nervous , reception and medical staff were all very professional .
Toby Ackland: Excellent service, polite, and helpful.
Reymond Lubay: Excellent experience, everyone was welcoming, friendly and most of all informative. My consultant talked me through procedure throughout which was comforting.

Dr Neil Simon: what do users think?
Marcus Graham: Dr Simon is extremely professional, compassionate and understanding. He thoroughly tests and follows up on his patients. He has helped me through two years of health issues and guided me back to optimal health. Highly recommend him for anyone suffering from suspected neurological related issues. The front desk staff are extremely accommodating and helpful as well - overall a fantastic practice!
Sue Bugler: Have recently seen Dr. Simon a few times for my husband's condition. He has been excellent and has gone out of his way to help us. All the staff at both rooms are helpful and very pleasant and efficient and at no time do you feel you are being a nuisance. I cannot recommend highly enough.
David Samra: As a fellow Doctor, I cannot recommend Dr Simon more highly. He is available for discussion of complex cases (almost every case a neurologist sees is complex). He is kind to patients and extremely knowledgeable. Neil's expertise in Nerve conduction studies and movement disorders has added great value to patient-care. I work on the south side but he is 100% worth the trip to the northern beaches.
kerry barnett: This doctor diagnosed my MND the first time I saw him and sent me for further assessment at the Brain Centre where it was confirmed. He is a kind person with special care attributes which assisted me.Outstanding doctor and person!
Gee 2zes: A very Talented and Knowledgeable Neurologist, he is the best one when it comes to Nerve Trauma. Also very nice natured person for a Dr.
Mike de Berg: Highly skilled and a nice guy as well.He diagnosed a problem that had beaten other doctors for years, he suggested an operation and I am now totally cured and finally able to walk pain free. After years of trying, he was the only doctor to correctly diagnose my problem and he did it carefully and patiently, not rushing. He was happy to answer questions and treated my wife is and myself as people and not just patients. Happy to recommend him.
R Sta: Probably one of best nuerologist around. He shows a lot of empathy and understands the situation of his clients. Very highly rated

St Vincent's Clinic - Neurology: what do users think?
Andrew Ussher: I find Dr Vissel extremely proficient in her field most engaging so easy to visit as i do every 8 weeks makes my appointment enjoyable
Adrian H: I have seen Dr Sutton a number of times over the past few years. He is an exceptional neurologist. Each time I have consulted him, I have received an extremely comprehensive assessment, clear diagnosis, and a plan for ongoing management and follow up. I am extremely grateful for the excellent specialist care I have received and will not hesitate to return to these rooms in the future.
Alexandra Cornish: I saw Dr Sutton and thought the experience was really good. He was incredibly professional and thorough, very thankful I was referred to him.
Ganga ganga: It is not very often that you meet descent specialist. However , I met Dr. Samuel Bolitho who was humble and very helpful.Thank you for restoring my trust in specialist and doctors.
Sydney Mum: My experience was with Dr Ian Sutton.First of all one of the receptionists who works in this clinic is incredibly rude. Her behaviour towards people who are going through potentially one of the most difficult times of their life is nothing short of disgusting. She will speak to you in a tone as if you have absolutely ruined her day by being there, talk over over you and give you a scowling looking from the moment you walk through the door.Dr sutton seemed great the first time I met with him, although I perhaps should have paid more attention when he warned me at our first meeting that he sees “MANY, MANY patients like me with severe and life altering symptoms for which they never find a cause”.After a few tests, some of which I had to ask my GP for referrals for as Dr sutton was apparently too “time poor” to write the referral himself (words of his receptionist) I saw him a second time. First of all he completely dismissed the findings of my MRI that both the radiologist and my GP pointed out as relevant. I was admitted to hospital with severe back pain and despite my MRI showing slipped and herniated discs, severe disc degeneration and a pars 5 defect (or stress fracture) he repeatedly told me there was no cause for the agonising pain I had experienced. This was just pure gas lighting. After this, at just my second session, i was told that I should accept remaining undiagnosed and to learn to live with my debilitating symptoms that have left me unable to work or even leave my home alone. I was told “well look, it’s not serious and it’s not going to kill you so try not to worry about it”. I cried the entire way through the appointment as I felt so dismissed and patronised. How you can say this to someone who has had a complete loss of quality of life is beyond me when you haven’t even been able to provide a diagnosis or find a cause for the symptoms.I am now in the capable hands of another neurologist who actually has some compassion and willingness to HEAR their patients and take them seriously. He has ordered many more tests, given me multiple potential causes, hope for a diagnosis and is already starting me on a treatment plan (and this is all in one session)
CalypsoMoon: Review posted to wrong section
Jade Lindroth: The neurologist seemed to have a lot of diploma and experience, but didn't make his patients feel confortable talking about their issues. No follow, just meds mornign and evening for the past 3 years, which in the end clearly didn't work.
john cpolupo: Great Doctor

Associate Professor Karl Ng: what do users think?
Mauricio Caicedo: If I could give this guy negative stars, I would. He is quite literally the WORST doctor I have ever dealt with. I don't even understand how he is a Neurologist. This "doctor" is simply charging people for absolutely nothing in return. There is no value from the incredibly short consultations with him.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.I REPEAT: DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THIS PERSON.Look for a different Neurologist please!
Simon D: I cannot speak to other's experiences, but my wife has seen Dr Ng for many years and we have found him to be nothing but extremely professional, considerate and diligent in his work.
Blue Knight: One the worse experience I had with a doctor was with this unprofessional doctor. He is always late, he always looks like uninterested in you or your issues . He didn’t keep his promise to call me once he had to call me for an urgent matter. He is always on Holidays or is going to a holiday! He is not knowledgeable and he only see you as a money producer!Ripping off , ripping off ripping off ! This is all I must say about him. My story is too long to share in here but just for your information I was his patient for more than 3 years- long enough- to tell you to NOT let him be your doctor. Waste of money, waste of time and trust. He is a con man . I am going to put a formal complaint about him but just wanted to put my review in here first to warn any person who is desperately looking for a Nurologist in Sydney.
Alissa Gigliotti: Very professional, always finds a way to help with his abundance of knowledge and a pleasure to be around. Would recommend to anyone suffering with migraine
jie xu: My issues with this doctor are, firstly he appears to be quite impatient and eager to finish the conversation despite we need more explanation on the usage of the medicine; secondly when we told him that the medicine given have side effects he did not give any more suggestions than what GP has suggested already and claimed that was his plan B. However this plan B wasn’t communicated before After that he repeatedly asked me to go back to GP. I am quite disappointed with that service.
Olivia McAtamney: I was told to arrive early and waited 50 minutes for my appointment, then after a $390 consultation was basically told exactly what my GP has told me. No additional examination offered or specialist knowledge. I found Dr Ng’s manner rather dismissive and uninterested, and have walked away upset and highly unsatisfied.
J Love: Very professional and always a pleasure
Kristen Honeycombe: Very professional, helpful and always pleasant to chat with. Here's a man who obviously enjoys his profession after all the hard work he's put in. Very glad to have been referred.
