Sydney Theatre School: what do users think?
Charlie Marr: This school has shut down.Once it lost all the good teachers that was it.
Ian Webb: Great performances. Dedicated people. Well worth it. Will come here again.
Victoria Tskhay: This is a perspective from somebody who doesn't want to become a professional actor but is doing it for fun and self-development. The beginners course at STS was one of the most fun and unexpectedly impactful things I've done in the last few years. I don't have experience to compare STS to any other schools but I think I couldn't have found a better place to learn about acting. The teachers were very professional, kind and devoted. I felt comfortable, supported but also challenged. And of course learned a lot about how acting works and met people with whom I can be creative and just myself.
Darren Douglas: The thing I love about this school is the atmosphere. You get to meet such a diverse range of people from different backgrounds and yet everyone gets along and helps out. The teachers are super chilled but passionate in what they love doing. Their energy passes through everyone in the class. If you ever want to break out of your comfort zone and really have some fun in front of others who feel the same as you sign up for the Beginners Acting Courses. Discover your potential!
James Coogan: Positive:ProfessionalismGreat for anyone who "wants" to be an actor
Bob Blunt: I have just finished stage two of the Introductory Beginners Guide to Acting . I have worked with theatre schools out west and in the city - by comparison these guys rate highly. They make you feel welcome right from the start, encouraging you to take risks without pressuring you at the same time. Theatre can be most intimidating for some so the fact that both teachers Shaun and Rob were able to make you feel safe was paramount. Aside from that. they're professional, affordable, have a great theatre space and we had successful outcomes on both final nights. You'll have fun, meet new people, learn the formative aspects of a new craft which can set you up for bigger things. This could well be the start of something! I am most excited to be doing the Diploma course starting in Feb 2021.
justin lopes: Completed my Adult Beginners Acting Course training in December 2020. Did 10 weeks basic course starting from September to December 2020. Absolutely enjoyed the experience. Learned basics of acting, stage presence. Best part of the course was various drills and games done through out the course. Our teacher (Shaun) was extremely knowledgable and very accomodating. I will definitely recommend STS for the acting. Made good friends with my colleagues and fellow students. I am also continue my acting learning by proceeding to do the advance course level 2 in acting.
Tony Green: I can highly recommend Sydney Theatre School Adult beginners class.I had never done any classes of this calibre before so was a little apprehensive but the teacher (Sean) was fantastic at putting everyone at ease and made the whole experience extremely enjoyable. The 10 weeks went very quick as the entire class became great friends and we all loved the learning process which was well paced to suit our needs.By the time it was time to perform we we're all ready to give it our all.I learned so much from this class and can't wait to do Stage 2
Morgan Daniels: Positive:ProfessionalismThe training that I received at Sydney Theatre School was extremely beneficial. I was taught by teachers that are highly successful in their careers, over a large variety of disciplines. I will treasure my time that was had at Sydney Theatre School.
Asiya: I’ve just attended the introductory acting class. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, teaching style and nice people around.
Phillip Semaan: A great Acting school with incredibly supportive and knowledgable teachers! I love being a student here!
Thomas Goth-Towney: Fantastic experience.Well balanced between screen and stage. Great staff with relevant and current industry experience who are enthusiastic and proactive with students.
Lucy Giles: Great establishment, great teachers, great student cohorts! I'm only half-way through my training and can already see massive improvements and advancements in my skills as an actor. Really fantastic place to learn and what I've already learned, I know I'll keep with me forever. Would absolutely recommend to those who want to learn how to make it in the professional acting world, but make sure you're willing to work for it. This is a college, not a picnic...

Actors Centre Australia: what do users think?
Steve Cox: I started my learning of the Craft there in 1987, throughout my time in the industry it always brought a smile to my face seeing other actors who had attended The Actors Centre show up in films ,commercials or TV.Often onset when asked where an actor had learned, the answer was 'The Actors Centre' of course.Dean had a dream, and he pursued it ,and it is fantastic to see what he has left the Australian creative landscape.I wish him and the Actors Centre and all those that attend, more of the same successes that they have experienced.

The Actors Pulse - Acting School Sydney: what do users think?
Dev Fry: I took online classes, Meisner and Screen classes and the classes were all organized very well for being over zoom and really helpful. The instructors were all great, very friendly and happy to help with any questions or stay back after class to talk with you if you were struggling with any part of the class.
Catherine Mazur: Build the SKILLS needed to BOOK PROFESSIONAL ACTING JOBS. In 6 months at the Pulse I have had more development as an industry performer than 2 years in a Tertiary Institute for Creative Arts. This is truly a unique opportunity to unlock yourself and build some serious acting muscles! Such a supportive and enriching environment that teaches the skills, the industry and propels momentum to reach your potential (and make a bunch of awesome likeminded friends). The Pulse doesn't just teach 'about acting', but builds the skills TO ACT and be the REAL DEAL. If I had 6 stars, I'd give it.
Kamren Oates: The Actors Pulse is absolutely amazing and I have loved every second of studying there! It's fun and engaging and has a completely different approach to teaching which I absolutely love, the meisner technique is so unique and different to other techniques ive heard of, it encourages you to open up and use your own life and self to elevate your acting. It's so easy to get along with and get to know Billy and the teachers as well as the students. It has this awesome sense of community and family where everyone is willing to help one another no matter what it is. I had no idea what to expect coming to The Pulse but I wouldn't change my decision for the world.
Amie Bransgrove: My experience studying at The Actors Pulse has been priceless. The last few years have developed my skills to a level I used to only wish for before joining The Pulse! Billy is an incredible teacher and has greatly supported my entire journey and I am so grateful to be graduating this year! Xxx
Naji Trad: Im having an amazing time learning at the Actors Pulse, the level of the teaching is of a driven nature and outstanding content. It’s been a place where I have developed a deeper understanding of acting in general and screen acting using the Meisner technique guided by Billy Milionis. The school provides me with a comprehensive education on the essential skills required as an actor, while also allowing me the freedom to explore layers within myself. Overall, my experience is incredible.
Laura Majid: What’s so special about The Pulse? The truly passionate & inspiring Billy, all the knowledgeable tutors or the diverse group of peers? It surely must be a combination of all of the above. I have studied at other film and theatre schools around the world, but none quite like here. I am being challenged greatly while feeling safe and supported enough to grow. The approach to acting is authentic and each student is seen for their individual strengths. Whether you are here as an aspiring actor or want to develop excellent social skills, this is the place. I am genuinely proud to be a part of this community!
Peter Schultz: I started to study at the pulse last year and still until now Iam enjoying to learn the craft of acting at the Actors Pulse.I experienced the quality of studying in the studio and also online (now during Covid19) and let me say it this way - even there is a difference in the format of teaching, there is NO DIFFERENCE in the QUALITY of the teaching. What you learn is the craft of STORYTELLING.But during my journey of studying at the Pulse Iam learning much more than that - I learned to be more open to people, to be more truthful to myself and also be able to speak with more confidence in front of other people.Billy and the other teachers (who are not just passionate, but also very qualified in what they are doing) will give you a brutally honest feedback on a very respectful level which will help you to do YOUR NEXT STEP.For me the Actor Pulse became a safe place to be. I made a lot of beautiful friendships and I have never been in a place where I could just be myself and be so free and open to try out myself. Can not wait to CONTINUE STUDYING here and see where this JOURNEY will take me 3 ...
Emily Chifley: The Actors Pulse has provided me with dynamic and detailed training in the Meisner technique that has helped me to grow extensively as an artist and individual. The course format allows me to continually progress in my skills in a challenging and supportive environment.
Jaymes de Freitas: I've been studying the Meisner technique at Pulse for over 2 years now, and let’s just say it's been a wild ride! The teachers are incredibly gifted, the classes are engaging, and everyone is always giving their 110%, which really inspires you to step up to the plate. If you're looking to take your acting skills to the next level while being surrounded by talented and dedicated individuals, this is the place for you. 10/10 I love it!
Zara Goodman: The Actors Pulse is phenomenal. Their online class options enable you to receive world-class training wherever you are. Classes are vibrant, inclusive, and nurturing with students tuning in internationally. It's an amazing opportunity to form future connections in the entertainment industry. Billy Milionis not only has decades of experience facilitating the Meisner Technique, but also provides in-depth insight into the industry. I'm so grateful to God that I decided to attend. I see and feel the difference in my acting, and I am loving it. I completely recommend attending The Actors Pulse if you want to develop your craft as an actor and be a part of a wonderful community.
Jason Brown: My son started classes here a few weeks ago and loves it. Great teachers & venue.
Dotti: To an awesome guy named Billy! I just wanted to thank you for everything you did and taught me while I was at your school. You're kindness was out of this world and the things you have taught me I continue to use. You truly are a darn legend!!Much love
Anita Sandstrom: What an absolute privilege to be a part of this great acting school. My daughter has been attending just over three years. In that time she has flourished. From the shy little kid who wouldn’t say ‘boo’ in the first class, to the confident young actor that she has become, is so beautiful to watch. All contributed to Ruby’s fantastic tuition and the school’s principle study of the Meisner Technique. Thank you to Ruby, Billy and everyone else at the Actor’s Pulse for everything that you do. You have created something special.
Emma Perpetua Quartermaine: I wish I'd known about this acting school before, I can't stress enough how methodical and professional the training is. This is a school for people who are driven and prepared to do the work to learn their craft. It's the real deal. You won't find a better acting school in Australia.
Evan Poschinger: I have had the most wonderful journey developing my skills as an actor here at The Actor's Pulse. The same way a tradie learns how to use the necessary tools to get the job done, the teachers at the Pulse are showing me useful tools to be the best actor I can possibly be. I live in Brisbane so being able to do my classes over Zoom in the comfort of my own home is super convenient and I'm still able to learn just as much as my peers who are doing classes in person. I would highly recommend this studio to anyone wanting to develop their skills as an actor, especially if you want to be a professional actor.
Christine1Milne: My daughter has attended the teen acting class here for the past couple of years, she has now moved up to the adult classes. She’s attended many acting schools over the years and they all have something different to offer. The Actors Pulse offers rigorous training in The Meisner Method. It’s quite a unique place which has a warm and nurturing environment with lovely teachers and a welcoming atmosphere, combined with dedicated teaching that has seen my daughter’s acting skills really develop. If you want to enjoy an acting class *and* really develop your skills, I can really recommend The Actors Pulse.
Anthea Murfet: My deepest thanks to "The Actors Pulse" by the honourable Director, Actor and Business Owner, Billy Milionis, for not only teaching me a lot about acting but also life in general. Channelling one's emotions is crucial in reaching success in the life of a power performer, and it takes lots of courage and skill to face or embrace one's inner demons and then effortlessly snap out of them when needed. You taught me how to be extremely sharp, accessible, and innovative. It took a while to unlock my inner child but lately, I often cry like a little girl, so thank you.Working alongside experienced Meisner Technique practitioners has enabled me to sharpen my tools for solid character building and access my authenticity as a power performer for my showreel.I couldn't have done this without you guys. 🙏🏻 You guys helped me live in the moment and became an incredible instrument when activating my impulses. See you in class pretty soon!
Imogen w: I’ve had an awesome time at the Actor’s Pulse this week! All of the staff and students were so lovely and friendly. All of the classes were such a cool and eye-opening experience to see what work goes in to being an actor. I would love to do it all again, thank you!
Michael Waples: While I've only been at Actors Pulse for a relatively short period, I've learnt a tremendous amount during my time there, not only about acting technique but also about myself. At Actors Pulse, instruction is centred on the Meisner technique, which focuses on creating a natural and genuine emotional connection between performers. Structured around weekly exercises and activities, students are tasked with utilising the Meisner technique to deeply connect with their scene partners and truly express their authentic self in the moment. The Actors Pulse is excellent at instilling a level of discipline in learning the craft of acting - it truly is a space in which the greatest rewards will only come with the work and effort you put in. There is a clear vision and purpose to their educational philosophy, and the teachers there are passionate, honest and committed. Moreover, there are many opportunities there to hone your acting skills over Zoom, a practice which is an increasingly important necessity in today's industry. It is a great place to begin your exploration of acting and to really gain a deeper understanding of the craft.
sylvie: The Actors Pulse is a great acting school! All the people who work there are such great people. I highly recommend it if you are looking to learn new skills and to anyone looking to pursue a proper career in acting.
James Simpson: Was an amazing experience to see the acting classes. I would Highly recommend the school to any people wanting to get into the acting business or wanting to refine their skills the Meisner way.

Academy of Film, Theatre & Television: what do users think?
Umair Ashraf: Very bad experience . Disrespectful staff
Arshad Shaik: This is the place where India’s blockbuster movie Arjun reddy (kabir singh ) director Sandeep Reddy vanga studied .
Harlow: My director was Anthony Skuse and I lasted 2 weeks. His treatment towards female actors is horrendous. Please get help Anthony because it’s not fair how I have to go to therapy because of you.
brent hazelton: I went to this school, and I want my 2 years back. The worst experience of my entire life. Anthony Skuse is an embarrassing excuse of a director. Misogynistic, self entitled and honestly disgusting. Please never go to this school it is ridiculous!
Lucy Waters: So disorganisied it's embarrassing
Laksa Soup: Total cash grab. Have had to unlearn everything I learned there and only then did I start booking work.Still find myself falling into bad habits some instructors instilled in me. They don't cater to those with a natural aptitude - they make everyone follow the same format/syllabus which is absolutely impractical.
Enoch Li: Great staff

Screenwise - Australia’s leading Film & TV School for Actors: what do users think?
Myekeller Johnson: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Maree Papadopoulos: I studied the 2 year diploma at Screenwise. The school was extremely professional and the tutors have a world of knowledge. Being given the opportunity to learn at Screenwise has opened up my horizons and I feel very prepared to enter the industry.
Kelli Bailey: Screenwise is the best place for learning & developing acting skills. I had the most amazing time surrounded by a great class & our teacher & mentor Anna made us all feel so comfortable. What we learnt from her was invaluable & her support & guidance was something I will never forget! I couldnt recommend screenwise more! I will be enrolling in more classes
Shontelle Firth: Best experience ever. Can't recommend this place enough. i thought i knew a fair bit about acting and my abilities but my eyes were opened so much. you get to work with some amazing tutors that have actual relevance to the industry. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has even the tiniest bit of interest with acting.
Abril T: The 2 year Diploma course has been nothing short of incredible. I'm so proud to be graduating from such a professional and committed institution. Each tutor brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding with a quality program that's educated and inspired me, all while having fun and making friends for life. The staff are wonderfully supportive and provide a plethora of invaluable resources in addition to the course content. Would do it all again!
Talia Rowley: Screenwise was my number choice of study when selecting an institution which would foster, challenge and prepare me for the industry both nationally and internationally. After completing a full-time 2-year Diploma of Screen Acting, I can say without hesitation it was the best 'career move' I've made to date. The opportunities I was presented with were invaluable; a masterclass with Peter Andrikidis, on-set experience during the filming of LITTLE MONSTERS (2018) starring Josh Gad and Lupita Nyong'o, voice over work on Foxtel's FIGHTING SEASON (2018-) and an ongoing collaboration with the directing and filmmaking students at AFTRS. From these opportunities and experiences I had the confidence and skills required to go on and book work within the industry, even before graduating. In addition to these opportunities, Screenwise offered a plethora of talented teachers, mentors and professionals who we had the pleasure of learning from; many of whom I will be forever grateful.Last but not least, it was during my time at Screenwise that I was able to meet and network with other like-minded creatives, who are now my dearest friends and respected colleagues.I would highly recommend Screenwise to anyone who is serious about taking that next step in their professional development and training as an actor. It's with no regrets that look back on my time at this school.
ediz tufan: I am amazed at the level of professionalism I experience studying at Screenwise. I feel prepared to enter the multifaceted acting industry; from the business side to the technical aspects of acting as a skill.
Jimmy Scheepers: A fantastic acting school for actors of all levels offering a diverse range or courses, each delivered by professional tutors with real industry experience. A welcoming, friendly culture can be expected from staff and students and if you are looking to pursue an acting career you cannot look past what Screenwise has to offer!
Katrina Papadopoulos: Amazing! The two-year full-time Diploma is an excellent course and really prepares you for the industry. The best part about the course is the clarity as to how it prepares you for the career of an actor. Not only do you learn everything that is there to learn about acting, but you also acquire skills like Business self-marketing that help you find an agent and score an audition. Thank you so much Screenwise & Denise!
Renee Brown: Adore this place and everyone in it!
Blayne Griffith: Extremely professional, hard-working with award winning tutors. I've learnt so much. Would highly recommend!

The McDonald College: what do users think?
Matthew Buscall: Mr Scott and Mr Friend...... enough said
J Smith: I do not recommend, try other performing arts schools, Like APGS, Village Nation, Brent Street etc. This school is overrated, the students can be absolutely horrible, we left because of this.
Scarlett B: Henry has been at the McDonald College since year five, and the school has been extremely supportive throughout his journey that has taken him to the Royal Ballet School (upper house) later this year. We could not be happier with the development and progress he has made under their supervision and he can’t wait to start the next chapter of his dancing journey.Neither of us as parents have a dancing or ballet background, and so the support, patience and assistance we received from the school was amazing. Thanks again to the McDonald College and all of the teachers and staff over the last 6 years. We would highly recommend the school to anyone whose children have similar aspirations.Mark and Kate.
Joe Mama: The school used to be fantastic until the new Vice Principal joined (David Garner). The School is no longer about performing arts and talent, instead about who the teachers like.
Sarah Derry: We especially appreciate the support of the Music steam in Performing Arts at McDonald College especially Ms Birmingham, Katia & Paul, that all encourage my daughter's creative development. We appreciate the environment that The McDonald College helps to foster student's development, which wouldn’t have thrived in a standard school environment.
Liam Trewenack: THIS SCHOOL SLAYS
Bautista Muñoz: Muy mala experiencia
Kenneth Edmonds: Ozcare work as a professional team . They have experience, knowledge and use natural treatment to obtain fabulous results. They are warm , friendly, caring and a pleasure to be associated with. I would highly recommend Mei and her team .
Sara Piccinelli: What a great happy school. We have been looking at their school for sometime and seems to be a friendly environment with fantastic teachers.
Kim Sindel: Fantastic school. One in which all students are supported, encouraged and included. Academic achievements are equally as important as their performing arts achievements and it’s a school which has helped our daughter to excel in both.
Sharon Read: We are grateful and blessed that our daughter has found her home and her people at The McDonald College. This incredible school has provided a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for her to thrive personally, academically, socially and in her area of Performing Arts. I can’t thank the staff enough for all that they do. My only regret is that we didn’t find The McDonald College sooner.
Kirstyn Burton: My daughter is a changed kid just after 1 week at the college. She is finally excited to go to school and is so happy. The small & intimate classes are just what she needs to get her confidence back with her academic work. The high standard of performing arts is exactly what she needs to excel out of her comfort zone. The communication and genuine care for her is confirmation that we have made the right decision for the rest of her schooling.
The Honey Bun Baby: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI'm loving the training courses that Maccas college provides for their students. For example the teachers are able to train the students to use the register and deep fryer. They even sell the BTS meal here with SPICY KOREAN BBQ SAUCE! Can't wait to work at McDonalds when I graduate!
Jono Nolan: Seems like a good school but they really should try to lower their fees and make it more accessible.
Alex Parsa: Classes are too long
David Newton: A very friendly environment
Ella Marsheila: The staff member is so rude. They received call with no manner. Its ashamed, I thought McDonald College is a good school. I am so dissapointed. I think they should train the reception well. I spoke to Aaron this morning.
Danny Harris: This school is a wonderful school. My child has had an amazing time here, and he continues to grow academically but also performance-wise. The staff are amazing and nurturing, and my child has loved every minute of it. Great school!
Liliac Bronze: This is the Best school and I loved my time there sadly I had to move
