Sydney Pole: what do users think?
M S: I've been with SP for over 5 years but it's gotten worse and worse. The teachers are fantastic but the subscription model and class expiry is ridiculous. I recently had a number of my regular classes being cancelled as the teacher was away, but was denied a pass extension from the support team, and told I should have booked in advance. If you have to go here, I recommend buying casual passes instead and staying away from the membership passes at all costs.
Rebecca Marlor: The membership has become a total rip off classes expire in 28 days and when classes are cancelled it's too bad, sure they give you back the credit for a cancelled class but it will probably expire before you can use it as no extension is given. IN class I was told it was recredited and expiry extended when I audited my account over 13 classes lost and they aren't cheap. When you ask customer service zero fs are given that you can't get the service you paid for the attitude is "our system won't let us recredit your classes" "you just do any other class to use the credit before expiry", but I paid a membership to do a type of class that was cancelled hours before and should be able to use my class credits for those classes when convenient. I have spent a month with customer service trying to resolve my dispute and they just keep charging even after I've left the country and now they say 4 weeks notice to cancel your membership of a $100 penalty. Also warning Memberships can only be put on hold once a year so if you travel too bad keep paying for services you won't be able to use.The instructors are great but the membership administration has become mercinary find another studio.
Rebecca Openshaw: 5 stars is not enough.. I'd give SP all the stars in the sky if I could. My second home and so much more than a dance studio
Jess N: Went in for my first free trial and fell in love with pole. Didn't have any dance experience beforehand and proudly says this is the only type of dancing I know. It feels more like a community than just a studio.SP has always been judgement free and welcoming. There's so many instructors and types of classes, you'll find one that vibes with you.Camperdown only uses brass poles, which is great for beginners. There's crash mats if you need one just in case. Different people learn at different speeds or have different body limitations - the instructors are all so helpful, giving different variations so class is never boring.
Liv Edwards: The most friendly, welcoming environment. I am so happy to be a part of Sydney Pole ❤️
Earnest Otonlalax: Amazing pole studio! 🤩 And they also do Hammock, Flexibility, Barre, and Handstands among other conditioning classes.
Monica Nguyen: Love this place, it is like a second home to me and id really recommend it to anyone wanting to try out something new, get into touch with their body or explore dance! The instructors and studio is so accepting and truly makes my day!
Dakota Faulkner: This review is for the administration teams and nothing to do with any of the class teachers or the venues.I recently cancelled my subscription with Sydney Pole and the absolute ordeal I had to go through to cancel was a nightmare.I sent through my request on the 12th of October and I did not receive confirmation on the cancellation until the 23rd.The notification stated that I would need to supply a 28 day notice period before they can cancel the account.Turns out that 28 days is from when they got back to me on the 23.That is ridiculous. They have taken 3 lots of subscription fees out when I was only told they would take 2 lots out.If you want to attend Sydney pole, it would save a lot less headache buying individual classes as you want to go.
Francesca Ryan: Had my general inquiry messages left on read twice when was simply asking about classes. Felt that was not only quite rude, but very unprofessional.
Sam Mulder: Sydney Pole policies have changed to profit off the pandemic. They've made classes expire 5 * faster, added a fine to suspend your account and increased the suspension minimum to 1 month, so people isolating for covid have to pay Sydney Pole for it. Even though they've likely suffered a loss of work/income and increased expenses. This also encourages people to just go in if they're at risk to avoid a fine. This is putting profit over public health & is genuinely dangerous.
galaxyboi126: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,ValueNever returns calls..Rude staff. Over booked can never book into any classes. Rip off prices they are quick to take your money but good luck booking the class you want. Badly managed
Olivia Farag: Positive:CommunicationThank you for processing my order of Griptinite so quickly!
Lucy Xenos: Amazing trial class, Ariana & Grace were super friendly & helpful. The place is immaculate!! So much fun, loads of variety in classes!!!!
Duncan Lorthioir: Amazing welcome, if you're undecided, just go, you'll be well taken care of, and it's so fun.
·: Friendly staff, gorgeous studio rooms, and so many classes to choose from. I've had loads of fun here!
Irina penkina: Positive:Professionalism
Priyanka: Great facilities and great classes.
Stove247: Amazing studio, a variety of classes and big timetable, highly recommended
Rebekah Thomson: An amazing pole dancing studio. Super friendly and inviting to all genders with inclusive programs and amenities. Very relaxed environment and very clean room and equipment. If you want to learn pole dancing, ariel hammock, and many others, this is the place. Will be definately coming back
Jenny: Spacious. Good facilities. Friendly and responsive staff. Most of the instructors are very cool and nice. I had a really good time until one unfriendly instructor embarrassed me during the class, and the whole experience is now going to end in a negative tone. Just want to say everyone is equal and communication with a positive attitude is the key. There is no need to embarrass others. We pay and we come here to learn with a good will.
Lisa Filz: Sydney pole is a wonderful accepting place to make yourself fitter and a healthier person in a wonderful way of dancing. Many different dance styles are offered from many different wonderful teachers. Even if your not that sexy pole person there is a style for you, but also oryx can make you feel sexy in a wonderful way with her choreographies without being va****monster on your face! Highly recommended to at least give it a try and explore yourself!

Sydney Pole (Parramatta): what do users think?
Silvio Mueller: Pole dancing is so much harder than it looks. A fun way to exercise. Great teachers
Trini Smit: As a plus size girl starting Pole was intimidating, I was super scared going to my free trial and almost didn’t show up but now I’m so happy I did!! Straight away after my trail class I signed up and fell Inlove! It’s intimidating trying something new but the teacher I had was amazing and so supportive it made me want to come back! My next class I had a different teacher who was just as amazing! Both women I’ve had classes with are beautiful and amazing at what they do! As a teacher(education) myself i found it beautiful how they help their students, they are so supportive and actually hype you up when you do something it boosts confidence for sure!! When there was something I couldn’t do because I just couldn’t grip it no mat trees how hard I tried they were supportive they didn’t just ignore me they tried to help me do it and explained why it’s not working so I can learn from it and practice to work towards it! Had they not of been as amazing and supportive as they were I probably would have been too scared to come back but here I am excited waiting to see just how far my pole journey will go!Thank you guys for having such an amazing supportive team who are wonderful teachers❤️
Yasnick Ramputty: Nice people!
Lucinda Enever: I began my pole journey at Sydney Pole and have been loving it. An extremely encouraging and supportive environment both from the instructors and classmates. Facilities are clean and look awesome with all the coloured lights! Plenty of parking either in the carpark or on the street. What I love most is the large variety of genres and classes to choose from - and can attend the other Sydney Pole studios as a perk of membership.Would highly recommend anyone to attend if they are looking to try pole for the first time, or continue their pole journey!
emilou: I was very disappointed with my experience.I traveled a fair distance to attend a free trail class with a friend. When we got there no on at reception and we had to sit and wait for 20 minutes before someone finally came out and told us our class had been cancelled. The lady who had come out to tell us our call was cancelled was rude and condescending and made me feel very unwelcomed.Very disappointed
Noah Szeto: The disrespect that this company has shown is Frankly upsetting.a friend an i signed up for a free trial, we wanted to learn and see if we liked the place. we travelled a fair amount to get there. when we got to the appointment the instructor was no where to be found. we were told later that the instructor had not wanted to come in that day. (we were the only 2 new people there)After this they proceed to text me advising that we missed the appointment. 2 days later they send me another text on the same number advising that we had taken the class and to review/rate them.Dissapointed in the customer service. dissapointed in the company. *Shame*
Madeleine: 5 stars for the instructors and staff at Parramatta branch who are always so lovely, welcoming and ready to help. What you have heard about pole is true and if you are looking to start I highly recommend these guys. Pole will be the thing you look forward to in your busy week!
BJ McDonald: Excellent!! I'm an unfit, bigger girl, but I didn't feel awkward and I had so much fun!!
Debbie Holmes: Loved it
Sel Epinosa: This is my happy place, the community we have at this studio is so welcoming it's like coming home to family whenever I arrive.
Alexandra Catherine: I started at Sydney Pole a year ago and have never looked back.Pole Dancing is so much more than just grinding against a pole, it requires strength in all areas of your body, a gracefulness and precision that works it’s way into other areas of your life. It gives you a closer connection to your body, understanding how your body works and moves and helps you gain a sense of timing and movement. The dances are a fun, creative way to get your cardio fix and you’ll find that while ‘dancing sexy’ may feel awkward at first you’ll gain so much confidence in yourself and your body as you progress. The classes are all different so you’ll never get bored and stuck in a routine that eventually leads you to quit. There’s bound to be a class for you.The tutors are all beautiful humans with years of experience and will never make you feel out of place or uncomfortable.I 110% recommend Sydney Pole to anyone, ages, sizes etc looking for a fun, new way to get fit.
Melissa Santiago: Joining Sydney Pole was the best thing I've done in a long time it has boosted my confidence and makes me so happy I love coming to my classes once a week. Highly recommended...join the pole family you won't regret it
Annie Chow: A newbie to the studio but not too new for pole. It’s hard work, challenging but rewarding. I saw my body toned up by all the pole classes I had and it’s just so much fun learning and trying out the moves. I would recommend pole to those who want fitness with something different! You will be surrounded by the most encouraging teachers and dance mates ever, and I find them here at Sydney Pole!
Monique Quinn: Amazing!! So much variety in classes, staff are so kind and in our aging and the students are lovely and are all like minded, makes it easy for beginners to feel so welcomed, Made some new friends and I feel so confident about myself. Not to mention after doing it for 6 months I already have a 6 pack that’s beginning to appear. Funnest workout yet :)
Emma Williams: I love Sydney Pole. The community is so friendly and supportive and there are so many class options to choose from. The teachers are really patient and supportive and willing to work with individual skill levels.
kate downer: Very positive environment that accepts anyone! Great way to meet new friends and be inspired to learn more :) Such a great workout, people need to appreciate that the sport of pole dance requires a lot of strength, skill and bravery rather than judge it by its past connotations.
Andrea Moschetti: Love love love the staff at Sydney Pole North Parramatta, they are super friendly and so encouraging not just with words but with their support and the way they talk about their students and what they achieve not just individually but as a class. The classes are so clever and the instructors tailor the class so you can achieve the goal you’ve set out to achieve. A lot of variety in classes in the way of dance, fitness, Lyra and pole techniques. I was scared when I first went thinking the worst and wow I was so wrong, it’s nothing like what people think at all, the studios are fantastic, really funky and fun. The Manager who is the most beautiful person has even taken my 16 year old under her wing to represent the company in Junior division competition, the confidence she has given my daughter is something I can’t thank her for enough. I highly recommend Sydney pole to anyone who is wanting to see the proper side to pole fitness and the fun side to pole dancing.
Shan O: Love the different styles of classes, enthusiasm and support from the instructors, and the fact I leave each class encouraged and invigorated despite my lack of coordination and flexibility!
JUNE MILES: Just finished your book, I have so enjoyed the honest and well written work, you have the life I (and I am sure many others) can only dream about, well done you for going out there and getting it whilst everyone else sits around dreaming, your next challenge Suzie is growing older, I promise you it is not for the feint hearted. Love your yoga classes, THANK YOU !!
Shelley Su: great instructors, friendly and fun learning environment, safety guarenteed. been poling at suzie q pole studio for three years and have visited other studios, suzie q pole studio is for sure the best and my favourite.
Michelle Jay: Great teachers and a great place to learn new skills. One of Western Sydney's best spots to fly and dance.

Pole Dance Academy: what do users think?
Aly Johnson: The most magical place… ❤️Back in the day I never thought I’d be signing up to pole classes but did a trial intro class with some friends and loved it, jumped straight in and it literally changed my life... Such a beautiful, wonderful community, have never had so much fun ‘exercising’, while learning and progressing so much each class and leaving each session with fulfilment and a renewed sense of determination. It’s definitely a challenging sport but the gains in strength, coordination and ability each week are incredible (the surprise six pack was also unexpected). You can also expect to gain a much needed boost in self acceptance/confidence - sweet riddance to any self doubt you previously held! Such an incredible physical endeavour + such a beautiful art form; the perfect juxtaposition of strength, grit, elegance and grace. Each lesson was ridiculously fun, plus I was welcomed into a new family of beautiful, genuine, inspiring humans (the whole pole family is the absolute best and it all starts with the amazing founding sisters Maddie + Shimmy ). I’ll be forever grateful to the PDA family.I’ve been to several other studios since moving interstate + overseas, overall, I ONE ZILLION percent recommend Pole Dance Academy as the best of the best. ❤️
Laura Pigot-Repšys: Love PDA Bondi Junction! The team is so friendly, so accommodating and so so quick to respond when I have questions or don't understand something. The teachers are also great, super positive and always happy to provide feedback and spend extra time on you when you need it.I was at a different studio in the CBD and I can clearly see the difference between the two. At PDA Bondi Junction, there is such a great vibe, I always look forward to my classes.
Grace Fry: Amazing instructors and I've had a class with pretty much all of them. Shimmy and Sparkle are fantastic businesswomen that are passionate and dedicated. There are great opportunities even outside of classes including free practice sessions, instructor training programs, workshops, online classes, pole wear and more. The studios are of the highest quality, often being updated and having lights and new features installed. As someone who has never had an interest in fitness, pole dancing has changed my life for the better and I'm so grateful for it. Thanks to all the team xx
T H: Was so excited to start dancing at this place. However, the teaching fluctuates from unbelievably great (Ciggy, you are phenomenal) to disinterested. Because of the latter, disinterested instructor who flipped through manuals before telling us to do anything I developed a permanent injury to my shoulder that still gives me trouble 3 years later as the young 20-something 'instructor' did not take my age and level of fitness into account when telling me to do a move (unlike Ciggy who broke things down in steps. Hence why at the end of the class both myself and the other students were like 'Wow - Ciggy's classes are a whole other level of awesome!"). The young disinterested 'instructor' however was more than happy to push product which is maybe why when I politely approached management about the disparities in instruction, I was dismissed with comments like 'ALL our teachers are great'. No - not all. But the good ones are def good. Due to permanent injury, I cannot undertake pole classes ever again due to the negligence of that one younger teacher in her classes to the point where even washing my windows causes me pain and that physical therapy at the hospital could not rectify. With that said, a cute, accessible venue. And the American receptionist was super nice and friendly.
Remi Maria: I took two beginner classes which were so much fun! The instructor Cazz was lovely and very professional despite being injured in my second class. Would definitely recommend!
Sasha Matiskina: The best time ever! Can’t imagine better workout :)
amaia sanchez perez: I started pole by accident and for sure I wouldn't keep up if it wasn't for the nice environment, super experienced and patient teachers and the amazing support by other students at PDA. This is my happy place!!
Amber Manto: Knowledgeable (and patient 😂) instructors, fun and supportive environment and beautiful studio space. Lots of different classes to suit all levels.
Karen Lewis: Very experienced teachers. A lot of fun and a great atmosphere
Ray Martin: Such a warm and friendly atmosphere. The teachers are lovely and immensely talented and all of the staff are super supportive. Fun environment!
Scott Gleason: Friendly studio open to all. Teachers and students are all very supportive of each other.
Michelle Wong: This is a great place to come and just hang, really. The owners have created the friendliest and most supportive atmosphere - it's hard not to make new friends every time I turn up! Sometimes you'll come in and there'll be a dog to play with too. They really specialise in the flexy long legs/hair flick style of pole, so if you're not into that this isn't the place for you (though if you come here, you'll probably grow long hair and get into it!).
Natalia Zurich: Since my first pole dance class with Yvette I have become an absolute pole freak. All the teachers are friendly, fun, experienced and very very helpful! I would highly reccomend the pole dance acedemy to men and women of all ages! I can do things i never though i would be able to :)

But having done a few classes over 2 terms - I can confidently say that Sydney Pole is one of the most fun and dynamic ways to get a work out and keep in shape. The crew at Gladesville are welcoming and on top of their game. If you ever wanted to try something different in a supportive space - look no further than this studio. You won’t regret it and will be signing up for more classes before you realise you’re hooked!

JACQUELINE LONG: Last week I attended a taster class to see what level I was up to with my techniques after a long time away from pole. The ladies set me up with a class to try out quickly and easily. I went along and I had a great time. The atmosphere is like none other, very relaxed and supportive with no pressure. The girls are so friendly and down the earth and the teachers were incredibly kind and encouraging. I can see myself falling truly madly and deeply in love with this studio.

The routines are always challenging but are fun to learn and master. I enjoy every lesson I have and hope to have many more.
Jessica S: I've been on the pole for 4 months now and I'm never looking back. Elle and the team are amazing every day is like a party!
Isabel Reid: A wonderful space to train in, and the instructors make the classes a second to none experience. The atmosphere here is great!
Haz P: The pole parlour is amazing! The technical moves we learn in class prove I am a lot stronger than I feel, and Elle works them into some fun routines with great choreography. Thanks to The Pole Parlour, I've finally found an athletic activity I not only love but am also motivated to do and practice in my own time. Officially obsessed with Pole.

Connection Studios Sydney: what do users think?
Bryzzers: Juilez provided an amazing experience for a male facial, I would highly recommend!
Zac Rheinberger: I've been coming to the LQGBTIA+ Queer 2 Dance classes since January this year and can't recommend Connection Studios enough - The classes are fun, all inclusive and respectful of your preferences plus Enzo and Kristy are fantastic teachers - I've been able to attend two social dances and actually DANCE.
Anthony Mangraviti: Kristy is an amazing dance teacher! I’ve had the opportunity of learning to dance from Kristy for a few years now and I’ve loved every moment of it.I vividly recall the very first time I learned to dance and experienced the magic of the social dance floor. I felt nervous and overwhelmed by fear. Kristy’s warm and welcoming personality and her approach to teaching has helped me to overcome and embrace this challenge.Kristy is incredibly patient and has an ability to clearly break down technique so that anyone can understand and learn. In my classes, I’ve learnt and discovered the art of connection, body movement and musicality.Learning to dance has easily been one of the best decisions in my life. I’ve found something I love, improved my confidence and made new friends along the way. If you want to learn to dance or even just try something new and have fun, I cannot speak highly enough of Kristy. You won’t regret it!
Sanjay Patni: Connection Studio is an amazing studio with multiple dance room for every size .I took personal classes with Kristy for Salsa and it was just awesome.I am a beginner and never learnt dancing before. She was very patient and breaks down every step very easily . She was so patient and understanding, altering steps as we went along to make sure we felt comfortable and confident. We could not recommend her more highly and our dance was a hit. Thank you xxx
Chiselled Charmed: One of the best studios we have had to work with. Pumpkin R: We did a group class and it was so much fun, will definitely do again! Thanks guys x
Cassandra: I can't speak highly enough of Connection Studios. Always impeccably clean, well-maintained and comfortable, a wide range of spaces to choose from and the wonderful Kristy, who runs the whole show and teaches some incredible salsa classes. The Facebook page is constantly being updated with specials and new artists coming out to Australia, so you always feel included in a community of a wide range of dance and athletics teachers and students. Extremely highly recommended for studio hire, classes and workshops.

Ilaria Rotondo: I highly recommend to book at Connection Studios for many reasons. One of those is that there are rooms for all the needs from big ones for group classes up to smaller ones for individual/smaller groups. Also online bookings are really easy and the website is well done.Last but not least, the owner Kristy is a lovely person, always available and ready to reply in short time.

Dancekool: what do users think?
Aashleigh Raj: One of the best hip-hop dance school in Sydney. Special offer going on around 40.00 for two weeks unlimited. Joindoonbefore the offer expires and try all styles. All instructors are super-friendly and helps us to work on techniques. 😇
Divyanshu Virmani: Critical:Communication,Professionalism
Darcy Singleton: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismGood courses for beginners.
K S (Parps): Hosted a great krump event, warm open venue fantastic location
Y M: Really good teachers and friendly environment. The class size isn’t too big so it makes it quite comfortable to move around
Hiu Yeung Tse: if your looking for friends, this is the place
Cissy Kang: We booked private couple dance lessons & choreography/music with Karen for our wedding first dance and absolutely loved the experience. They are very well priced, highly creative, professional and high-energy. We have gotten an endless array of compliments for our dance (surprise switch from Whitney Houston to hiphop mash-up). We chose our favourite songs and Karen channeled & interpreted our vision to create an amazing result, even beyond our expectations.
Alex Chappelle: i don't recommend this place. some of the instructors seemed so inexperienced and came to class unprepared. i hate when they tried to make up something on the spot.
L Anonymous: THIS PLACE IS LIKE A MONEY SUCKING MACHINE! My kid has been going there for 3 weeks now and every time he came back, he would tell me that he needed to pay for either classes or some weird looking shirts or performance. How is there so much to pay to dance???!!! The worst part is he also called them the "family" STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE YOUNG KIDS PEOPLE!
Kamal Krishna: Lots of choice in styles. Good place to learn.
Daryl Morante: Loving the new location and upgraded studios! It feels brand new every time I walk in. Toilets are always clean and my favourite... the extra sprung floors!
Kaison Wang: The class was okay, a little too crowded. But I didn't like the attitude the reception guy gave me. I won't go again.
Lisa Teng: I love the lights in this studio and I love the floor. Sprung boards mean many hours of happy dancing for me :]
Andrew Chong: Outstanding. I have never had a better dance experience than at DK
Lenny Fung: DanceKool is Sydneys first street style dance studio and has an outstanding faculty of teachers and atmosphere to learn dance!
Kian Lee: Fabulous! Loved the teachers there. Great vibe!
William Chung: Nice Teacher !! Nice techniques!!
MJS Social: Fresh AF studios. Dope classes.
AleiraMarie Rovira: I love DANCEKOOL, I feel comfortable here, everyone is so nice, they're like family. Phi at the front desk is very friendly and really nice. The Teachers and classes are really great and the choreography is always amazing. I love it when we have performances.
Rayne Lee: Great atmosphere, teachers and fun. A great way to place to learn and meet people or even just chill on a weekend (weekday too).
Masaki Kikuchi: Awesome location , friendly teachers and place to meet people who like street dance!!

Bobbi's Pole Studio: what do users think?
CC Chen: Not recommend. The facility is old, always a lot of hair and uncomfortable smell on the floor. The distance between pole and pole is really close. Teacher is friendly but the other things all disappointed. Tried few pole studio, this is the worst one. Nothing much to learn, unfriendly to beginner. Will never come back.
알렉스: Best classes and best teachers! I wish they have the whole building so there'd be more classes every day. It is so difficult to choose one class over another...
Jordana Guenzl: We came to Bobbi’s Pole Studio for a hens party and was taught by a wonderful teacher named Paris. She was so patient and affirming to all of us, no matter our skill level. We all had a wonderful time. Thank you Paris!
Ally D: Organised my friends hens here! We did the Sip and Spin package, It was alot of fun!!All staff were easy going and helpful and made the booking process simple and the class super enjoyable for all!
Justine S: We had a hen night here and it was so much fun! Some of the girls were quite nervous but Isabella made us all feel really comfortable and by the end of it we didn’t want to leave ! It’s really laid back and lots of fun so don’t hesitate to book even if you feel a bit embarrassed! Also Isabella is an amazing dancer, we were literally all in awe of her ! Thanks so much for an amazing night.
Dr. Judy Chiwawa: Pole dancing is so much fun! It like a merry go around for adults
Abbie Love: Bobbi's is the best and original showgirl pole studio. I started classes several years ago and have never looked back. The teachers and classes are so fun, and the vibe is always encouraging and supportive. All are welcome.Pole level classes are great to work up strength, tricks and dancing routines - but also try the other classes like floorwork and SLAP.There are often taster classes going, so grab a pal and book yours now!
Siri Elizabeth Williams: I've danced at three or four pole studios in Sydney and Bobbis is by far my favourite! The staff and instructors are SO friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is positive, encouraging and accepting, and the other students are such a warm bunch.I really appreciate the level of instruction - it's detailed, thorough, and ensures you'll never be tackling things you're not ready for, or developing bad habits that can cause injuries down the line.Love this place and will continue to be a happy customer for as long as they're open!
Emma Gray-Silk: Such a fun afternoon for my friends hens do! Would 100% recommend. Such a lovely instructor :)
S Ella: Such a lovely friendly studio, with an extremely high calibre of teachers. Great range of classes on offer, from pole dance, to stretch/flexibility, and exotic. Love this place it's my second home!
Jana Blanco: Super friendly and helpful staff. The teachers make everything achievable for everyone regardless of your fitness level (or lack of). Such a wonderfully supportive and friendly place. Would recommend.
Michelle Wong: Bobbi's is the oldest pole studio in Australia - it specialises in glamorous showgirl-style pole. It's unashamedly sexy, but in a classy way (by Australian standards, anyway!). Recently they've branched into other styles of pole, with contemporary pole classes and a male-only class. The best thing about this studio in my opinion is the experience of their teachers. Since it's such an established studio, many instructors have been teaching for over 10 years, and even though they can't necessarily do crazy acrobatic tricks, they've taught a LOT of students so they've encountered every problem possible with the basics. There are many instructors out there who can do amazing tricks but don't understand how to teach them - this is rare at Bobbi's. There's also a lot of emphasis on injury prevention, which doesn't always happen at every studio.
Pushka Пушка: An awesome pole dancing studio for taking weekly classes; 8 weeks - levels from beginner to advance, contemporary dance and other classes. 3 rooms with poles - many award and competition winners started here
Nicola Woods: Well what an experience!!I came here on a Hens Party where I only knew a couple of the group. I certainly got to know the rest very quickly. This place is awesome. Not sleazy at all. We had a 1 hour dancing class and I loved every minute of it. Our Instructor went through various moves slowly then allowed time for us to practice before putting the moves together. They provided "special" outfits and a good supply of bubbles. If you don't want to dance, but watch the rest of the group have fun, spectators are welcome for a small fee.A great day had by all.

Crossover Dance Studios: what do users think?
Witney Jiménez: Have been going to this school for about four years now. Great for K-pop and hip hop. Now they also offer kids classes. Totally recommended.
Michellee Gracee: Update: April 2023.For all those giving bad reviews and pretty much bagging out the receptionist. I think you need to be a bit more kind with your words. Some of them are new or still learning on the job. There are so many students, classes and teachers. They get calls, messages and admin. They are a small business running with alot going on.Just relax and be cool - it's a dance studio. My review for crossover.100% the best place to go for hip hop. Real hip hop!!! Many different styles and classes. I highly recommend
L T: I've been to a few Crossover classes and most recently Keanu's Sunday popping class. He's exceptional! Great dancer, but more importantly he knew how to teach. I like how he ran thru the basics since we are an absolute beginner class. Myself for one never danced popping before and was quite clueless when I entered the classroom. Keanu's also very friendly and I encourage people to ask questions on the spot in class so everyone can learn, especially if you're in beginners. Some areas of improvement I can suggest: please revamp your booking system, it's hideous and not user friendly at all. Second point is that there are too many people in the classroom, I could barely stretch. A bit more space would be appreciated.
PB Falcon: Classes have been good. And the teachers I've had so far have been friendly and nice to learn from. The only issue I have is the attitude and lack of professionalism of the receptionist. The lady at the front desk (I think her name is Mina) was not able to answer any of my questions and was too busy talking to her friend (another girl at the front desk who was also rather rude) to answer my questions when my friend wanted to join class. She couldn't even make eye contact or muster a greeting and treated us like we were taking up her time. I saw her treat several customers (students, but paying people) in a similar way--more than once. Felt like I was in highschool. No one wants to be a Karen or enjoys writing these reviews, but sometimes rudeness goes both ways. And it is unnecessary to be rude. Even though it's a front desk job, some professionalism doesn't hurt. You don't have to be friendly but some basic manners, respect and attentiveness shouldn't be difficult. Unless she's incapable of doing that? This behavior is not only unprofessional but also reflects poorly on the dance studio as a whole. It is important that management understand that customer service is an essential aspect of running a successful enterprise. I hope that the management takes steps to address this issue and ensures that such behavior does not occur again in the future. Other than that, I have enjoyed the classes and didn't want to voice this issue for a while because the teachers I've had have been wonderful.
Max Pollard: THE BEST DANCE STUDIO IN SYD. This studio has the best teachers, classes and community. If you are even thinking of taking and dance class come here
Redcomet: Great fun, amazing teachers and people
Ben McFly: I have been involved in dance throughout my life and been to various dance studios but always felt like I was missing something. When I started coming to Crossover Dance Studio around 2 years ago, I finally found what I was looking for. There are so many unique styles that are taught here by really talented and supportive teachers. The community of people that attend this studio are also really friendly and encouraging. I have made a lot of good friends here who have helped me to grow as a performer. The studio also hosts a number of awesome dance events throughout the year when possible, which makes the experience even more fulfilling.I am so grateful to Jaye, my dance teachers and this community for the experiences I have had so far and hope to continue to learn at this studio for years to come.
D L: Jordan was great, love his energy and vibe and the choreography was so much fun! BUT the receptionist haf utterly spoiled the entire experience for me by walking IN FRONT of me BACK AND FORTH while I was taking video and she was not just distracting but also inconsiderate!!!! I am very upset by this experience!
Tomasz Mikolajewski: Excellent popping classes!
Juniper Tan youtube: Thank you to the teachers especially Robin, Lok, Keanu, and Isy2years ago: Mixed experience. There seems to be a self-perpetuating cycle of showcases where the tickets are mainly sold to other dancers so those in the showcases aren't really getting exposure. Sometimes it seems that the owner plays poor by asking for donations while after showcases it is said that he goes on overseas trips for himself. Please decide for yourself what you think of that. There are amazing teachers and students and jammers who I've learnt so much from! Although when I was going through anxiety and it didn't seem like I was keeping up with the teaching another teacher outside looking in said something along the lines of "I'm glad I don't have to teach het". But the teacher who was teaching me actually talked to me about my issues outside of class!!I've actually recommended xo to some friends who want to dance 🤗 and I love how they teach k-pop!
Sarinee Mayong: I am interested in dancing and know the place from my friend.I really new about dancing, and not feel confident . But just found in here have the absolutely beginner hiphop class. I went there for asking more information but the receptionist didn't provide any helpful information . I actually look up online before I go to the studio. What I got from the receptionist ,it just something like 'yeah you can do everything online' .But my experience with my friend who bring me to use the room there and can see the environment was so nice. Will try to find the information by myself and get back again if I can.
Melody Tang: It was a good experience with Penny on Thursday’s contemporary. Good vibes. The experience would be better if there’s more air flow inside the room and a cleaner dance floor.
Aaron M: Awesome team, great environment, each week gets better and better! Highlight of my week 🙂👍
Aaron McIver: Great place to learn very welcoming, friendly and very skilled. Highly recommend to anybody! Give it a go!
Downworlder Lilith: This place is amazing when trying to get into dance or back into it. Coming back into a dance atmosphere after so long can be difficult and this place made it easy. Pleasant atmosphere if you want to go alone or with a few friends. Only problem can be trying to get in touch with your choreographer/teacher if you don't have their direct number or a contact platform of some sort if you wish to take it up as much as possible and could miss a class and might need to catch up. All in all amazing place & has kept me coming back trying different dance styles/classes.
Vanessa N: Came here for my private dance classes for my wedding and these guys did not disappoint. From start to finish Jaye, Imogen and Shannen were so welcoming and accomodating to what both myself and my husband wanted to do. They made us feel so comfortable too. As we did a slow dance remixed into a faster hip hop/rnb song we did a mixture of slow dance classes then hip hop/urban classes. They were so patient with us and Jaye even remixed our songs! If you need wedding dance classes, I'd definitely recommend Crossover 😊Thank you Jaye, Imogen & Shannen!!
DJ Dumplings: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueThanks for supporting DJs like me and creatives too. Because XO has a very wholesome community, you'll end up making great friends, memories and challenge yourself to be better version of you.
zhen zeng: Nice studio. However the receptionist didn't even know when an instructor start teaching a new dance. It is not great to jump into a random class where everyone was in their fourth week for a particular dance.
Clive E: Awesome staffGreat studio , nice vibe.
Grace: Lyrical classes on point
Fiona White: Great music, comfortable atmosphere and fun hip hop class. Will definitely check it out again.

Miss Fit Dance Studio: what do users think?
Tahlia Sexton: We hosted a Hens party at the Artarmon Studio and Sarah was amazing! Tailored the class to our group, was lots of fun and made sure our Hen and the rest of us were having an amazing time! Would definitely recommend to others for similar events!
Jacqueline Bate: Great well-run dance and fitness studio. I love the great variety of classes and activities. You won’t even realise you are getting fit because you’ll be having so much fun! I also love that they are a reputable business who take their community responsibility seriously. They are keen to reduce their carbon footprint and I felt safe attending during COVID.
Angela Cheung: It has been the most amazing two years since I have started the aerial training with Miss Fit. I have gone from having a fear of height and not very physically fit to getting stronger and better after each class. Sarah, John and all the teachers have been so encouraging and supportive throughout my journey. Plenty of classes in all level to choose from and class size is small, the space is beautifully decorated and air-conditioned, equipment is always clean and sanitized. I love the Miss Fit family. Thank you.
Clara: A fantastic place to forget about the world around you and have fun! Missfit is somewhere to feel truly supported in reaching your Lyra/strength/flexibility goals
Anita Glázer: Absolutely love it!!
jessica hawes: Very supportive studio environment, the teachers are all very technical and ensure proper technique is executed to avoid injury. Levels are easy to navigate and students aren’t rushed to move levels fast, reducing injury. Very close knit/family feel, students are incredibly friendly and positive. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking to pickup aerial
Madeleine Estherby: I absolutely adore Miss Fit! As someone who's never been able to get into going to classes at the gym, I completely fell in love with classes at Miss Fit, so much so that I change my schedule to suit classes. The teaching team are incredibly qualified and encouraging, and have a great way of challenging you, while making sure you're having fun at the same time. There's no competition, no ugly comparisons, and just a whole lot of people working out to make fun shapes and reach personal goals.I cannot speak more highly of Miss Fit Dance Studio - after years of struggling and never thinking I could do it, I've been able to handstand against walls, into hoops and against poles and that just keeps me rocking up each week.
Patricia Burgos: Amazing Lyra and pole classes! The best instructors ever. You will join an amazing dance school where you will exercise while you are having the time of your life !
francine a: Such a fun studio to stay fit and express yourself! I love the great sense of community from both the instructors and other students. I personally only do pole but aerials and Lyra seem fun too. Try it out!!
Hayley Hogan: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueBeautiful vibes and energy and great classes. Highly recommend.
julie qi: Love, love, love this place! I've taken so many of my friends here to try Lyra and aerial fitness and they also loved it. I used to attend regularly at their Taren Point studio so if I lived closer to Artarmon, it would definitely be my weekly exercise routine. Sarah is an amazing instructor and business owner, she's compassionate, intelligent and just all round beautiful. I never got injured when I was with her and she was always cautious and tailored the exercises to my ability. Highly recommend this place! You will have so much fun giggling, you'll forget you're getting fit. Xx
Natalie Sandy: My sister had the best time on her hens at this pole studio! The studio was organised and great at responding to emails leading up to the event. Our hostess, Grace, was friendly and amazing and the session involved the perfect amount of pole tricks and choreography. The colourful bustles were really cute and really added to the dance! It was great to have the option of the 90s theme and it was awesome being able to choose the song for the dance (which the hen loved back in the 90's). Grace's finale dance with champagne (and then Fireman Sam) was a great end to it all! I definitely recommend this studio for a hen's party!
Jessica Couri: I organised a hens party at Miss Fit Artarmon, and we had an absolute blast!! The burlesque routine was so fun, and we all learnt some sexy moves for the night ahead of us 😋 The dance instructor and host were really lovely, we all felt very comfortable and safe in their studio. They had bubbles, cheese and fruit platters for us after the class also which was a really nice touch.Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to organise a hens party here, it's affordable, fun and memorable!
Olivia Farag: I have completed two courses here at Miss Fit Artarmon - Contortion with Adrian and Dance with Dre. Once you walk in, it's very relaxing and easy to get 'into the zone' as the place is beautifully decorated and very spacious. Instructors are very skilled, chilled out and approachable. They always make me feel comfortable about visiting there. Ample free street parking too which is a bonus.
Ursula Kopinski: A huge fan of Miss Fit! Very encouraging students and supportive teachers. A huge range of ways to keep fit - Pole, Aerial Yoga, Lyra, Flexibility. A fun environment catering to all levels of fitness, regardless of background. Have been going to classes here for a year and haven't looked back.
Dawid Oosthuizen: Awesome experience. Class was challenging and a great workout, studio is nicely set up and decorated. Only had one class here so far, but AnDre seems to be a good teacher.
Donna Meredith: Absolutely love this place. The teachers are top quality and supportive. The studios are fun to be in and inspiring. The best part is getting to perform for your friends after 8 weeks of learning one of their amazing original routines.
Michelle Chiang: I love it! The atmosphere is great, everyone is really friendly and helpful and look out for one another, and pole is simply fun! I started earlier this year and wish I started earlier. Could not recommend more xx
Sarah Foale: Amazing atmosphere and teachers that help make getting fit fun.
Lauren Chua: Amazing way to get fit and tone your body. Attending classes at Miss Fit Dance Studio has revolutionised my exercise program and completely changed my body! I started two years and have not looked back since. I was always keen for exercise, had never taken any form of dance before and my girlfriends and I thought it would be something fun to do together. Turns out pole dancing improved my body in ways I didn't think were possible - I feel fitter, more toned, and I am proud to show off my waistline and stomach, and inform anyone who asks me where and how I got it. I would recommend this studio for pole dancing to everyone!
Karen Lewis: This studio is great, I look forward to my pole classes every week.Really fun with a great culture of supporting and encouraging each other during classes. Beginners are welcome and the friendly teachers are excellent. Try something new - much better than the gym! So much fun!
