Definitely not how I left it. When taking care of instruments worth thousands of dollars, I expect better service than that.

Paul: Ordered PA speakers, was going half with another band member. I live in a remote location but the address was accepted, paying $350 in shipping. Based on this I decided to buy a mixer from another company. Was called the following day that they would not be able to deliver unless an additional $700+ plus was paid. Decided to cancel the order instead but explain to the sales adviser just to make sure I could change the payment method, the original amount had been paid on a credit card so returning the fund to the other person would not be possible or I would incur high interest fees. Was called back and told this would not be possible. I asked if they could check again and was assured that they would try and get back in contact with me before they actioned any refund. Received no further contact or updates and the money was refunded back without any correspondence from the sales representative.While the sales assistant was incredibly helpful in the beginning, I will incur a cost because of an error on their end. I would not recommend using this service or at least not their online store.

Ben Hackett: I took my Yamaha Revstar (RSS20) to the workshop to get some parts replaced due to nickel allergy.Considering parts availability & related lag times due to COVID, it took a little longer than it would have otherwise, but that's not Big Music or the workshop's fault.I collected my Revstar yesterday & the price was very reasonable, the quality of work & service was beyond professional.I dropped off a nice new guitar that needed some tweaks, but collected a guitar that looked almost exactly the same (the replacement parts looked so similar that it barely changed the look of the guitar), but now plays exceptionally well & is just a joy to play, with parts that will not exacerbate my health condition.Harry, Clyde & the team at Big Music really care about helping your guitar reach its potential & I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone needing a setup, mod or repair.Great work guys, keep it up.

They are telling me that I can't pick up my package from the depot because "it is not ready yet"; it is physically here, but I can't pick it up.I was hoping to buy more music equipment, but just from this business decision you have made alone I will be looking elsewhere to buy my musical equipment.Your $699 keyboard is suddenly costing me over $1000+ because of the day off from work I will have to take to pick it up from the courier service you are using (with offshore call centers that like to play the game of hot potato and bounce customers from team to team for hours). Opportunity cost loss is a real thing.

Peter Ryan (Fluent Leadership): Great range.I specifically drove there in my lunch break to look at acoustic guitars, and potentially buy one. It is not really next to anything, so if you go there, it is obviously because you have made the effort. There were 3 staff in the showroom, 2 of them said hi.I was the only customer in the showroom.I looked at the range of acoustics about three times. I was never offered assistance. The guy in the keyboard section didn't acknowledge me, and when I headed back to the front counter there was only one other staff member who was now on the phone, and didn't even look up.Feeling totally ignored, I left to spend my money somewhere else.

A quantitive device for measuring tension in the skin very accurately for obtaining an even tension and the ability to accurately repeat it once the optimal frequencies responses have been ascertained; tuning drums and banjo heads basically.Belfield service was fast and courteous and the item was packed well and in perfect calibration.They did a great job and I am very satisfied having no hesitation in recommending their integrity and superlative performance.

Tman Utube: The sales staff are easy going chilled & funny guys that really know their gear. Their repair guy Isaac is a genius he's repaired 2 of my guitars so far. A 12 string Taylor & a Parkerfly have both been bought back to life. I'll be send all my guitars to this guy from here on. Just make sure you use their online booking service. Don't just rock up & expect to have your guitars overhauled in an hour. He's in very high demand from both pros & hacks like myself. I truely can't say enough great stuff about them all. Be careful, upstairs is a true musical museum, & a trap from your credit card. Love it.

It is called The Guitar Lounge as they have guitars and a lounge so pun intended. It is not called The Bathhouse so with this or any other professional place of business you may enter now or in the future do not expect the proprietor to hand you a towel and pamper you. Go in it as a mature person and get treated as one. Act like an entitled brat and expect to get what you deserve. This tip is for anywhere in this world. The Guitar Lounge price matched and delivered as they promised. The onus was on me to seriously consider their deal and thus I did!Go in and see what I mean!

Ivan: I've visited and purchased guitars here twice now and have been very happy with my choice each time. The owner is very knowledgeable about guitars and is also extremely friendly and down to earth, always willing to give you the best deal possible. If he doesn't have what you are looking for, he can refer you to somebody else or order it for you. By far the best place to try out and purchase new guitars (of all types) in the CBD. The place also has a great, chill vibe. I believe he also does minor services such as restringing.

Name Name: Minor guitar repairs are a major headache here, you go to pick up your guitar and no one can find it, no one knows if the job has been done. Three staff involved and 2 phone calls later they take a guess it's a $90 service. No invoice, no way of knowing if a jack was cleaned or simply replaced. Staff cursing me out and telling me to go elsewhere. I guess they think they are too cool for normal customers.

SLAV: Hands-down the most genuine, the most friendly, the most down-to-earth guitar shop in Sydney. I have dealt with Don, Che, Wazza, Mitch and Sam since 2011, almost 10-years ago. This shop is where I bought my Gretsch guitars, Custom Shop Fender Stratocaster Relic, guitar pedals you won't find anywhere else and had my Fenders set-up and upgraded by Wazza, who has the upmost expertise in setting up your guitar to make it sing. This is also the store where not a day goes by without another really amazing guitar or piece-of-gear arriving, only to fly out the door in a matter of days once snapped up for its amazing quality, price and sheer joy of owning. If you're looking for that funky, cozy guitar shop tucked away in a small street in the heart of Sydney, this is it. Oops, looks like I let the secret out.

They called me back quite quickly and I was greeted by a very nice professional sales person. They gave me all the info that I required and were very clear and helpful.They even called me back later on in the day just to let me know that AusPost had picked up the package from their store.Was a pleasure dealing with them and will definitely be shopping with them again and recommending them to fellow musicians.

I purchased a left handed American Pro II Telecaster over the end of year period. However, due to COVID hassles at the time, Shannon was so accomodating in holding on to my gear for a while until the Logistics cleared. I love my 2021 Telecaster, Butterscotch Blonde, with BlackStar ID:Core 20W V3 for home use. All arrived real quickly, to GoldCoast Qld, really well packed for transport, lots of care taken. Now I have my Tele-liscious lover. And, a Team for Lifetime Support to boot. If you like to make your Telecaster Yours, I suggest swapping the Pickguard for Tortoise Shell rather than the standard Black: but, that's a Personal thing.In short, how could you go wrong with Sunburst Music? Had to then return it, wait 2 days for them to action the refund and then they sent it via a PayPal e-qcheque, which can take 6-30 days to clear. Couldn't have had a worse experience if they tried to make it bad. Will never buy a plectrum from them again, let alone a guitar. Appalling service.

Love your work team 🎸 One tip: I noticed after playing the guitar for a few weeks now is that I should have replaced the strings immediately as a few have now broken (I assume just after sitting in the store on display they had worn)

Paul Stanton: ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE.I have been a regular in-store Customer at Manny's Music - Alexandria since this Store opened and to date I have spent in excess of $10,000 on a variety of products.I will now NEVER support and/or shop at Manny's Music - Alexandria ever again. Below is list of reasons for my above decision:1. Customer Service is non-existent and when it exists is extremely RUDE, ARROGANT AND CONDESCENDING;2. Aggressive (yes aggressive) and mean-spirited Staff;3. Dishonest and highly incompetent Staff who lack basic product (s) knowledge;THE LIST TRULY GOES ON...There are are too many reasons to list here to describe and explain in detail why I now feel extremely disillusioned with Manny's Music and why I will NEVER shop and/or support this entity ever again but here is just a couple of reasons:1. The so-called Store Manager (Carl) sold me 3 Guitars worth a combined total of approximately RRP $7,000. Each of these products were falsely advertised and/or misrepresented as they contained Indian Laurel Fretboards not the advertised and much more highly sought after Rosewood Fretboards. I only realised the above when my professional Luthier brought it to my attention about 6 weeks after I had purchased all the products. I was unable to return any of the products because about 6 weeks had passed since the initial purchase date and also because I had already decided to have a few small personal modifications (improvements) carried out to each product. I would NOT have purchased any of the products if they had not been falsely advertised (there is a big difference between Indian Laurel & any Rosewood). Immediately after I brought the above to the attention of the Store Manager (Carl) the product's specifications were swiftly corrected on Manny's Website but the Manager seemed arrogant, aggressive and dismissive of my concern (s).2. On the last last occasion that I shopped in-store at Manny's Music - Alexandria I was arrogantly advised by Counter Staff (can't recall the 2 male's names) that I was unable to pay for the product that I was wishing to purchase (value about $1,500) nor was I able to take it home UNLESS the factory sealed box was opened and physically inspected by Counter Staff,What???When I repeatedly explained that I was happy to pay for the product and take it home in its unopened condition and that I was also happy to for any reason whatsoever voluntarily waive my right to return the product within Manny's 30 days Returns Policy I was rudely and somewhat aggressively told to leave the Store, take my business elsewhere and not return.The Manager (Carl) then said to me and I quote "brush your teeth - your breath stinks" and then once again told be to leave the Store otherwise the Police would be called.Absolutely horrendous, obscene and un-called for behaviour by a Retailer and/or a Retailer's Staff...I laugh at it all now but I can assure all readers that at the time it was deeply offensive and extremely humiliating and almost became violent as one of the above Manager's head-honcho Staff verbally challenged me to a physical fight outside the Store Carpark (all over a simple prospective purchase).If I could give these clowns a minus 5 Start Rating then I absolutely genuinely and sincerely would.To the Proprietor (s) of the above entity - how dare you treat loyal paying Customers who walk into your Store with their hard-earned money with such disrespect, disdain and aggression.To any Consumer wishing to conduct business with the above entity I say please remain completely alert at all times.
