Vgs photos: Modern art museum located centrally in the iconic Sydney harbour. Free entry with lots of interesting art pieces spanding over 5 levels. Must visit the cafe on the upper level with paranomic views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. Considering the views and the location the cafe is excellently priced as well.

Marina Epstein: This is a truly special place. We walked into the gallery and were immediately drawn to a piece by Gloria Petyarre. Christina was really helpful, pulling down canvases for us to make a decision. In the end we did not purchase at the time. However, two years later, when we made a decision to buy, we contacted the gallery. Not only was Christina immensely helpful and responsive, but she remembered us. She made the whole process of purchase and shipping super easy and even offered advice on how to frame the piece. An amazing experience!

Lori Potter: Although my entire transaction with Wentworth occurred online, the gallery made it very stress-free and smooth. They showed me many works at my request, and found other works of similar style in a certain size when I was trying to find a piece of aboriginal art to fit a certain spot. The gallery has a rich, deep inventory of truly marvelous aboriginal art. Christina Tsaousoglou assisted me very professionally. I recommend Wentworth highly.

Caroline Birtwell: I just love this gallery! From the minute I entered the gallery in Phillip Street I was pleasantly surprised by the exciting array of works from Chinese born artist Hu Ming. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was one of celebration. I was not disappointed when I returned to view the works of John Maitland and then Gav Barbey at the Martin Place Gallery. I love the variety of artists, so expertly curated and always interesting. Well worth a visit........or two!

Chui-Ting Lee: The exhibitions/projects are usually small but well curated featuring contemporary artists/creators and a variety of themes.I particularly enjoyed the Game On / Arcadia exhibition on retro gaming where they set up a load of arcade machines that visitors were free to play. Also loved Curvy.
Stephanie Ngui: What a great hipster multicultural joint. This is within Central Park shopping centre. It is fairly quiet and has an art gallery and workshop space. Toilet facilities are nice and clean. About 7 minutes walk from Central train station and Railway Square bus stop.

Got lost on the way as their Google maps location is way off. Cost me $8 in an Uber to get back on track but the free beers compensated me well.The anticipated Ambush never occurred though...
Steve Grantham: This gallery is a gem hidden in plain sight in the foyer of the main building of the UTS. Not exactly a massive space - but the inclusion of some of Australias most famous visual artists makes a visit to aMBUSH worthwhile. Includes lesser works by Sidney Nolan and Margaret Preston - as well as a famous and familiar landscape by Albert Namatjira. Entry is free.
Catherine Bousfield: One of my favourite Sydney galleries. Neat, tidy, unassuming.... Then able to be transformed into any manner of amazing, artistic playgrounds.I was here recently for the Mr Black liqueur launch; a truly classy affair which is a credit to the galleries adaptability and quality.

Arnold Stolberg: An amazing collection of contemporary Chinese art. Absolutely worth going out of your way to see. Make sure you allow plenty of time because they have so much remarkable art. The carved stones on the top floor are remarkable.

Guy Preston: Some thought provoking paintings and sculptures spread over 4 floors, but the film really stole the show. There is a little cafe and gift shop on the ground floor. This gallery is marked as temporarily closed but as of mid May it is reopen. Free entry.
