Zagatonic: Such an immersive experience strolling through this store. Quality pieces which haven't been restored with non-authentic materials. Love the restoration section upstairs. The lady and guy who run it are approachable and friendly. Great place for a specific find. Some things are on the high pricing side.

James Chin: Decent range but overpriced. Just look at the TH Brown stools and the price, and then check the TH Brown website and you can get the exact item new for almost 30% cheaper. Same goes for quite a bit of their stock... Certain items are good value but a quick bit of research will you tell you what is what...

Aside from being introvert friendly, it was good of the staff present to give us space to just walk through each furniture and admire the craftsmanship. Even though we didn’t have the intention of buying at that time. Personally, the pieces available reminded me of TV shows, movies, commercials, and music videos from the 70’s to late 90’s.

He found the chairs we wanted, restored them beautifully with loving precision and had them recovered like new. Then he figured out a way to get them from Sydney to Byron Bay at lowest cost. We are so happy with our chairs everyday, a real feature of our room. They are beautiful and we are so glad we took the bespoke solution of Vintage Furniture Restored rather than buying new. Scott shipped them from Sydney to Queensland for us and they arrived promptly and in excellent condition. They were great value too especially for such statement designer items. Scott has a great eye for modern design classics and his items are really good quality. we love sitting on them with friends, enjoying some drinks and nibbles.

His arrogant and paltry response, "I am sorry that I cannot assist you with your furniture as we are a high end retailer of genuine antiques which by definition must be over 100 years old. Regretfully your furniture is rather modern, just in an older style so it is really just second hand. I would suggest selling it on Marketplace which is a very popular site for both buyers and sellers". I would question his level of expertise!

Jennifer: This store is fantastic. I have bought many pieces from here now. The owners Scott and Gavin are so friendly, helpful and have exceptional taste. They go to France and beyond regularly and bring back things you are not going to find anywhere else.And contrary to the one review that says things are expensive, ah… what?? This store is very reasonably priced, considering most items are in excellent condition, usually at least a hundred years old, and are hand-picked then brought over from the other side of the world. And I don’t’ know what Gumtree that person is looking on, but it must be in an alternative universe because antiques of this quality are normally much more expensive than the ones you’ll find here. If I could find these pieces on Gumtree for half the price, I’d start up my own store.I bought five items this month (including a huge mirror with a frame hundreds of years old) and had them sent interstate. They were so thoroughly packed by the owners and couriered by transporters who understand these objects are irreplaceable. Gavin even helped me get something else included in the shipping from another store. This was so incredibly kind of him to go out of his way to do that.If you want high quality pieces that are one offs and beautifully pre loved, this is the one store I would highly recommend.
Paul Vass: Popped into this place and straight away realised how Overly Priced everything was. Big time (& I mean BIG TIME) mark ups... Their bric a brac was quite ordinary & Kitsch. Their paintings are worthless and most have some damage or have been patched up. One or two of the larger furniture were nice but I've bought the same (yes French made)- at Less than Half the price from Gumtree. Absolutely no value here!

I did a big percentage of my Christmas shopping last year in this beautiful shop and the owners, Scott and Gavin, have helped me solve many other gift purchases throughout the year. A number of gorgeous items have also found their way to my home! A must visit and well worth a trip to the Inner West.
