Gerard Schokman: Harvest Buffet at the Star, if a worth a visit. It's an all you can eat buffet with a variety of dishes. It was a very busy night, which I suppose is a norm there. The spread and service was good. I recommend the Harvest as a one-stop shop for a group meal. The notable benefits, as with all buffets, is that you don't need to cook, guests just help themselves and there is no cleaning up afterwards. Adding to that, is the location, proximity and access to the city. And for the die hard casino patrons, you can ease yourself on the gambling floor.

El Des: He didn't stay at the apartments. We just went to the buffet which is called harvest buffet. The food there was fairly nice. It was all very hot which was great except for the seafood which is on ice.We went into the casino for a while afterwards. Seems very clean. Didn't hear anybody winning though but was a good atmosphere.

( this shouldn’t happen in a 5 stars hotel )I had to ask to be in the right room but of course they said that the hotel is fully booked and that I will have to stay in that room .. after few minutes of negotiation they magically could find me the room that I payed for !My friend and I asked also if we could order some cocktails at the bar and have it in our room - ( what 5 stars hotel always do ) and we were just “No - if you want to order you have to look again and see that there are no cocktails” ..I was pretty shocked and disappointed to have this kind of experienceEveryone has to be treat equally !The good point is location - the location is amazing in the center of the rocks close to the cafes and the opera

Leigh-ann Biggers: Room and location lovely. But no cups in the room for tea or coffee so had to phone to get them, plus coffee machine didn’t work properly. For $500 a night price gouge over long weekend you should at least expect the room to be full functional. Small things like this make a difference.Walkability: Close to everything you want
N M: I stayed here recently with the hubby for our wedding anniversary and the service was amazing, especially from Cheeson.We were given welcome bubbles upon arrival, and were also sent a complimentary bottle of bubbles to our room along with some TimTams to celebrate! The staff at breakfast service the following morning were all wonderful as well.The room itself was nice. I’m not sure if the furnishings and bathroom were worth the $500+ we paid for the one night stay, especially considering there was no balcony or even a window you could see much from, but the service and location were so good that we would definitely come back again. The king bed was super comfortable too.Thank you for a lovely stay!

Thi Ho: This was my very first time making a reservation for a hotel room to stay just for a night to experience a freedom of single life after I got out from a toxic relationship. I was so touched by how I was welcomed by the wonderful customer service at Pier One Autograph Collection. This was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had. This was also what impressed me most from the staffs here. Thank you so much everyone for making my stay so satisfied. There was no minus point at all during my only one unforgettable stay here. Apart from my great experiences spending my night here, I also had a wonderful meals for dinner and breakfast at the buffet in the morning. It was really lovely. I would only recommend if it’s possible to have more variety of food options for breakfast in the buffet, particularly with some additional Asian cuisine. That would be the greatest treat for me personally and for the larger part of the guests. Once again, thank you for everything.

The venue is v.nice but extremely inaccessible without a car.Be prepared to walk a distance or take the public transport if you have no car.The gym is sad but you shld go out and run. Super scenic to see the bridge and the opera hse.

My one gripe as a female business traveller is that whoever designed the closets has only considered business shirts being hung up and not feminine business attire. Not having a full length closet is a bit annoying. Minor gripe as everything else about room and hotel is brilliant.

She was very knowledgeable, honest, provided us with a number of different options that suit our budget and needs, and was always quick to reply to my queries. The venue itself was very beautiful, loved the location and the intimate vibe inside. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a venue to host their wedding reception!

We also had wine and canapes after a team building event. Service was good, not too in your face. They took coffee orders and managed to know whos order was who's to hand them out during the break.

Nothing ever an issue, quick to respond and very friendly and knowledgeable.The event itself was wonderful, our event coordinator on the night, Sanaa was excellent, friendly, nothing ever an issue even with all the changes I made all night, she was service with a lovely smile which made my life so much easier.Food was fantastic. Service was excellent on the night considering we had a big crowd of 160+ people.View was to die for and a hit with our staff.Will definitely recommend them for anyone who is looking for somewhere memorable and will definitely be back again to book a function.

Hiii: We had an amazing event here! We loved the event coordinator, Sanaa (she was great!). However, reason for less stars in this rating is that we had a horrible experience with Kai, another event coordinator back then - she was rude and did not cater to our requests, which ruined our experience quite a bit.

Matt matthew: We had our wedding there on Sunday 27/3/2022. This venue is amazing. Our event manager "Danica" was excellent and was very accommodating with all the last-minute changes. But the real absolute star was the manager on site "Sanaa", she was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure the night was perfect, and everyone was well looked after. Also the rest of the staff was equally amazing. With regards to the food, it was restaurant quality and definitely not the usual microwave wedding food. We did have a fantastic night. Also the location with the Bridge in the background was perfect for the photos. A very big thank you for everyone for making our special night perfect.

Sonia: Breakfast at Glass was amazing. We've been lucky, both times we've visited, we haven't had any issues with certain stations running low/out of food or hot food no longer being hot. We went for brekky at 8am. Got there 7.45am and there was a long line of people waiting to be seated. We were shown to our seats around 8.10am.
Sidh Chailleann: A great experience throughout our brief stay. We stayed in one of the smaller suites. The room was spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable. I have slept in many hotel rooms over the years in multiple countries; the bed at the Hilton was the most comfortable I have ever slept in bar my own. The staff are all very lovely and eager to assist. I have a serious back injury and at times have to use a wheelchair when I am in too much pain to walk. The doorman was always very helpful when I was getting on or out of Ubers; I looked for him on my last day to say thank you and tip him but he wasn't around. The access to the Executive Lounge is a nice added extra; the breakfast is good and there's enough choice so as not to get bored. We never used the lunchtime snacks or afternoon tea as we were out but the drinks and canapes in the early evening are a good touch as eating late in the city is the usual practice. I would really recommend this hotel to anyone and we will most certainly return. I thought the suite was very well priced.

From the start I had the loveliest encounters with Nat and she made any request seem like an absolute breeze. Everything was seamless, from the communication, to the confirmation of all details, to the exchange of the cake itself.I am not a big cake eater but found her cakes perfect - from its appearance and design to its density, to the texture, and amount of sweetness. Every aspect of it was perfect. Byron Craft: Overall food was great and came out at a good pace…only critique was pastry on anchovy tarte was pretty hard/chewy.Drinks service was an issue though. Long wait for first round of cocktails and my order was incorrect so then had to wait again. Ordered 2x glasses of red before the main to have with the brisket. Brisket arrived, eaten nearly half and still waiting for wine. Waitress returned and said they were out of that wine. We reordered and continued to wait, all the while the brisket was getting cold. Eventually I went up to the bar and told them not to worry (I made the effort of going to bar so they didn’t pour them). Waitress seemed quite annoyed initially but then did apologise multiple times.Long review because it feels like an easy fix to what would have otherwise been a great experience all round.

Roisin McCann: We recently had our wedding reception in Kittyhawk’s function space, ‘Officer’s Mess’. I can’t rate them highly enough - the night was totally awesome thanks to all of the bar/restaurant and event teams’ hard work, incredible hospitality, and totally standout food. We’d been to Kittyhawk before on a number of occasions for dinner and/or cocktails, and they never disappointed us then either. The space is gorgeous - old world vibes in a sort of speakeasy setting. Whether you’re dropping in for dinner and drinks or looking for a unique event space, I’d wholeheartedly recommend Kittyhawk.

We had the ceremony upstairs in the Officer's Mess and the reception downstairs in KH. The Officer's Mess was set up so beautifully with candles and seated each and everyone of our 90 guests.Every one commented on how good the food was with the lamb a particular favourite. The flexibility of the staff to sort out last minute dietary requirements was an amazing touch. Finally, the drinks continued to be on point all night with the old fashion a must have.Once again thank you to everyone involved in making the day so special and to Jason for always being attentive to any questions we had leading up to the big day.Do yourself a favour and get along to Kittyhawk, you'll fall in love with it just like we did.
