Power Living Australia Yoga - Manly: what do users think?
Chrissy Knight: If like me you're always a little intimidated by heated vinyasa, fear not, Power Living is brill. Everyone was super attentive, helpful and kind. Great classes set to short bursts of music with attention to form always. Would recommend, especially if you practice by the window and watch the trees blow in the wind as you move - magic.
Jim Cantor: I’ve been practising and learning with Power Living for the past 18 years! I love the community they have built. The teachers are second to none, always providing encouragement to take care of myself, which sometimes means working a little stronger, sometimes taking more rest. The physical yoga practice is just a part of why I go to this studio; the teachers find ways to inspire me to better myself on (and off) my mat.
Justin Varjavandi: Powerliving yoga is great. I started off a few years ago looking to stretch and avoid injuries but as I continued practicing, surprisingly found myself becoming more focused and centred that has helped me in all aspects of life.
Leon B: Great get-away location for Yoga practitioners. Lucy was awesome!
Dan Fuller: Brilliant class, well led with a good aura throughout. Orderly structured with the freedom to freestyle.
J M: Good, not great. Watch out when you suspend or cancel your account. I decided do not attend anymore and got charged in one more payment.
Sarah A: Have been to a few Power Living studios and love them all… they are strengthening yet not draining, as well as calming ! I feel great after them especially after I found Bikram too much for me personally.
Kristina Curtis: I love, love, love this yoga studio!
Meredith Epp: Beautiful yoga studio with some talented teachers. Always a great work out. Troy’s class is always fun and challenging, love that he doesn’t take it all too seriously. It gets busy on weekends so get in early to get a good spot
Viviane Dorp: This Yoga studio is amazing - I fact the best I have ever been to. Amazing atmosphere, challenging classes and lovely teachers.I love how they wrap every class in a deep message giving sie wisdom for the day. Wish I could take this studio back to Germany.
Elizabeth: Practising here for 2 months - so fantastic plus very welcoming! Being an older yogi, maybe I will never be up to the heated yoga classes - but the non heated vinyasa and the yin classes are really worth it. Highly recommended
taz williams: Friendly, welcoming and well run. Every class is different and challenging which maintains interest levels and keeps everyone coming back for more. I love coming here.
Irina Munoz: Best studio in town, absolutely love the teachers, beautiful facilities and great atmosphere! They offer both heated and non heated classes which are amazing. I love practicing at Power Living Manly.
Kaylee Savage-Wright: Mostly great experiences here. I really love the teachers like Marty, Troy, Tasmin, and Poune-- they're constructive, challenging, and don't just tell you to get into a pose but also explain why you're doing this, what it does for your body, etc. However, the heated vinyasa 2 classes can get so packed you're literally a few inches from the people next to you. I'm all about being friendly with your neighbor but this often makes the classes feel restricted and limiting with the poses. I kind of wish they would just cap off an amount of people allowed in the classes, to allow for more postures and room.
Jemma Dickman: Love the zen atmosphere at this studio. All the teachers are lovely and add their own flair to each class.
Embla Bishop: The best yoga around! Incredible classes and wonderful teachers. Been going for ages and always love my time spent here. Highly recommend :)
Deirdre Conlan: A great yoga experience for all levels. A friendly atmosphere and team.
Chris Bellis: Excellent teachers and lots of class offerings. Definitely one of the best yoga studios I’ve been to!
matt murace: Best yoga studio i've been to! Friendly staff and good vibes all round.
Anna Booth: Great teachers, timetable suits a busy schedule, and atmosphere is positive. The intro offer got me hooked.

Ann Dombroski: I have been doing yoga at Yoga Synergy for years. All the teachers are professional and supportive. The sequences allow participants to work at their own level to improve strength, flexibility and balance. I always come away from a class feeling great - relaxed but energised.
Deborah C: I can only recommend yoga synergy to anyone in search of a meaningful yoga practice. I love the beautiful energy during the classes and the caring guidance of the teachers through the sequences. The 9 weeks sequences are build in a way that we can progress at our own pace, to our own ability and learn the movements week by week until we can move through the whole flow sequence by ourselves without the need for the teacher instructions. This type of yoga practice is not about performance, it is about mindfulness.
Miranda Herron: Love this yoga school. I have been attending for years and it is always excellent - the teachers cater for all levels and make people feel welcome whatever level they are.
gaetan J.: I'm very happy to have found yoga synergy and the fabulous Eriko for my yoga practice!! I really enjoy the simple and holistic approach to movement, breathing and awareness. I found calm mobility and connection with yoga synergy! Thank you!! 🧘‍♂️ ❤
Isabelle Phillips: Great teachers and great vibe. Do yourself a favour and join a yoga studio that won't greet you with attitude or leave you with injuries. Yoga Synergy has a welcoming feel and you can do beginners poses through to advanced poses in any class. I like the focus on moving safely.
Robert van Krieken: Verity's class was excellent, highly intelligent technically, and also a pleasure, felt great afterwards. We'll miss her a lot while she's on maternity leave, hope to see her back again soon!
Joanna Fishman: I just did a class with Verity at Bondi Junction, although she usually teaches at Newtown. She is very very experienced, and I always learn something new. I've been going to Synergy for over 20 years and their teachers are always professional and highly skilled. Love these classes. !
Melisah Feeney: Live on the outskirts of Sydney so cant get here regularly but loved the one class I did on Saturday @ Newtown. Fresh way to experience the poses.

Nadine Ebert: Lovely studio, great class!
Cheyenne D: First time here. Spent 20 minutes to park. Arrive at 18:32. The class starts from 18:30. Only 2 minutes late, the door is locked. No one answered the ring neither the call. I wait outside 15 minutes then leave. Please let us know if there is no tolerance for even if only 2 minutes late.
Luisa Munoz: The 200hr teacher training has allowed me to re-imagine my life in ways I didn't expect when I first signed up. Rod and Nicole's dedication to Yoga and teaching goes far beyond what I had expected out of a teacher training. They are rich in knowledge, in experience and welcome everyone at any stage of their life and yoga journey. If you want to become a teacher, learn more about Yoga, or want to do something different in your life - this is the place to join. What a wonderful community they have created and so glad I joined. A truly transformative experience. And so much FUN! Thank you InYoga xox
Aleksandra Grabowska: Wonderful space with high quality teaching
Alexandra Pratt: A beautiful studio and friendly staff and management.I wouldn't say this yoga is for me but we are all very different and need different paces.I did the 2 week trial and I found the yoga a little too slow and not challenging enough for me. In saying this I was so impressed by the friendly approach all the teachers had, the staff here and studio itself is great. I had one teacher pick up something important in my downward dog I needed to re-correct and this was very helpful! (thanks guys!) Loved the plants, loved the Incense burning on arrival, all beautiful touches.I would recommend In yoga for people that like a slower yoga and enjoy gentle well thought out movement for all ages and all types of learners.
D P: 5/5 :)
Tina Harpley: Friendly, professionals who have created an inclusive, relaxed environment to soothe and heal their students.
Joy Yacoub: I have loved every moment I have spent in the studio and online. It’s an incredible space with amazing instructors. Nicole and Rod have so much knowledge and you see it in every class. The 200hr Yoga Teacher Training was of extremely high quality and I left feeling confident to teach knowing I had the best foundation possible. I would highly recommend the Teacher Training In Yoga offers to any aspiring teachers or anyone that wants to get deeper in their own practice. It has certainly changed the way I practice yoga.
Dylan Reisch: Mate I don't yoge y'know, I like snorkelling though. My girlfriend flipping loves this place, raves about the vibe and the excellent teachers. Big ups, find your stillness 🐳

This assisting course is a must for yoga teachers. Thank you InYoga.

Be One Yoga: what do users think?
Amanda Quinn: Great to have more flexibility and have a good sweat! Really friendly staff and amazing shower area :o
Helena Tran: I usually never write reviews and emails but unfortunately I wasn't satisfied with the service in regards to communication and administration. As a FIRST time potential member of BE ONE. I am very disappointed. I've never been to a yoga studio before and for this to be my first experience it sucked.I came early and they told me to come back at 7:15pm which is fine but when 7:15pm came the studio was locked and I was standing outside in the cold.I signed up because the lady instructor was lovely. After I signed up they said they will give me an email THAT NIGHT. I texted on Instagram and I was left on read. I paid $59 on Monday night and 3rd day in and still haven't received any emails about my introduction/package.I didn't feel like I was taken care of as a first time member.CURRENT DAY: I emailed to let them know about my disappointment one week ago and still no response, no package information, no welcome email, etc.I will not go back there again and will not recommend.
Angela Mao: Positive:ProfessionalismSuper kind, supportive and wonderful staff. Best studio. Favourite instructors.Ultimate plus, the teaching quality here is at such a high standard.
Paul Vermeer: Wonderful yoga studio. This is where I started my yoga practice 4 years ago and continuing to be a regular.
J R: What an amazing studio! Besides the beautiful and cozy space, at Be One each one of the teacher brings something unique to my practice, the sequences are challenging yet balanced. Flawless! Love love love ❤️
Nina: Most AMAZING Yoga Studio 🧘‍♀️all the instructors are beyond fantastic.
Zak: Dom the owner is a legend. He is an amazing teacher and provides such a welcoming and inclusive space for all. So grateful for this studio!
avril farrah: Beautiful studio, amazing teachers.Seriously the best yoga studio I’ve been to in Sydney.
Emma Mumford: Every class and teacher are unique, offering dynamic and challenging top quality classes
Shirley Liu: Pretty disappointed with 2 min late and not being able to enter the classroom. Especially with driving for 30min all the way down here. My experience with other yoga studio is that they allow 5 min late. Understanding there will be class policy . However, I think if someone signed up for the class. You certainly could still check if they are still going to show up or not before class start. Locking people outside with 1-2min late is really such an disappointment. I think from customers’ point of view, I’m not really happy with this. You can certainly hold your policy and I can always choose what yoga studio that I want to go for.The only thing I like is the teachers. But I think the teaching quality is roughly the same with Body Mind Life.Cheers,
Madina Tanekeyeva: Beautiful studio. Great teachers and community.
James Lam: Love the people, the space and the ambiance
Beatrix Tanuwidjaja: Travelled nearly 1 hr 20 minutes to get here and I called a few minutes earlier to let them know I’ll be running late but the staff receiving the call said they’re not in the studio right now so can’t pass the message to the teacher. I knocked several times on the door (and the class is next to the entrance). Pretty disappointed by the whole experience. You guys should have a plan B with late comers or at least have another staff man the studio. With 1 hr 20 minutes I could’ve reached home and do something else
S Renee: Great teachers and nice vibe. Especially enjoy the hot yoga class.
Sofian Saoudi: My experience at Be One has been absolutely fantastic. The first time i practiced, was at Be One and this is where my love story with yoga started and changed my life. The teachers are incredible and although they have different styles, they all deliver the same message and positive vibe. The variety of classes is great, especially for a boutique studio. Some classes (but not all) do have music, which makes me appreciate them even more. The mirrors are great to help you with posture (or check yourself out! jokes)I had great pleasure going to this studio and I’m very sad to leave due to moving to a different suburb. Will certainly keep going but on a more casual basis.Big thank you to Dom, Stef, Vanessa, Vicki and the rest of the beautiful team.
Fergus: My experience at Be One has been fantastic! A very supportive, friendly and knowledgeable team who operate in a lovely space. A session at Be One is the perfect way to start (or finish) the day. Looking forward to heading back soon.
Edward Mallett: Excellent studio. Dom runs it all with pride and an inspiring story for all wannabe yogis.
Alexandra Sheather: Always lovely and calming, as well as beautifully decorated. Great vibes!
Spencer York: Great studio and space with amazingly passionate teachers.
maria misitano: Great atmosphere and wonderful teachers:)
Catherine Truby: Very unhelpful staff. Very unpleasant experience. Their Surry hills venue closed down, might be an indication.............Can you please tell me HOW my pass was 8 months expired, when I just bought it less then 8 months ago?!?!?!?! (27th of July to be exact) So, your saying, as soon as you buy it, its expired? ALSO, NOWHERE when I purchased it, did it say there was an expiry date. If you can show me this, I will gladly accept my faith. I had asked for a refund, because I purchased the pass wanting to use it in your Surry hills location. I live in Waterloo. That has now closed down, and am unable to go to your other location which will be over 40 min from my home. I politely asked for a $110 refund because YOUR circumstances has changed. Thanks again for helping me out.

Yoga To Go Studio - Yoga & Pilates Classes Sydney: what do users think?
Jack Shalavin: Really good Studio! Provided a great introduction to Yoga.
No way myself: 100% recommend to see Amy here if you need a Chiropractor! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Vicki Jeffreys: Doing the beginners yoga course at Yoga To Go. Great instructors who are patient and encouraging with us beginners. Definitely feeling the benefits!
Ryan Brookhouse: Magic place, classic yoga, calm teachers, supportive vibe.
Olivia Down: I started attending classes at Yoga to Go in 2019 as a student in their beginner course, which was an excellent introduction to Iyengar yoga and helped build my confidence to practice regularly. I know attend a general class once or twice a week. Yoga to Go is a really lovely environment, and it's teachers are knowledgeable and responsive to the needs of each student.
Rob Wildman: I first started with the Yoga to Go senior's classes and enjoyed both the level of the exercises and the light hearted mood of the classes. While Romina is always urging us to try to develop our poses, she is always very mindful of people's abilities and their particular strengths and weaknesses. She is careful to set the level of the class at just the right point. I then started attending the normal weekday classes and again found the level of work just about right. Romina has an uncanny ability to read people's bodies perfectly when giving them assistance in striking poses. And the mood of the classes is still open and friendly.
Stephen Cassar: great place to do yoga or pilates as well as some retreats as advertised. large studio w excellent teachers who teach in the Iyengar school of yoga.Oh and i’ve been attending since 2014 ;)
Wendi Etherington: Have been going to classes at Yoga to Go for probably 10 years. I really like the Iyengar approach as it allows for you to do poses which suit your body and abilities. The teachers are very friendly, professional and competent. Highly recommend.
Lynn Cohen: It’s always a great experience. Classes are dynamic, professional and (dare I say), fun. Highly recommended
James Boggs: Romana is a great, patient teacher who makes the beginner classes relaxed, fun and still purposeful, so we all keep coming back. I've started my yoga journey in 2023 at Yoga To Go and am looking forward to the journey.
Amanda Judd: Staff are very friendly, understanding and helpful. I always come away from the class feeling so much better than when I arrive. Being able to make up missed classes is a real bonus.
Michael Lees: A wonderful place to begin my yoga journey. I’m glad I found Yoga To Go as the foundations I’ve learned really have set me up to continue my practice safely and confidently into the future.
Deb Michels: I have been attending yoga for seniors with Romina for about a year now. I love the classes and always try to schedule my timetable to attend both sessions each week. Romina is very kind and takes great care in her teaching to enable people of all abilities to participate fully. She takes the initial assessments very seriously and constantly checks in with individuals in the group to find a variation on the pose where necessary to ensure we do not experience unnecessary pain. I am addicted because these regular sessions have made a world of difference to my overall health and movement. I started due to chronic shoulder pain, but since doing the classes regularly, and using many of the stretches I have learned at any twinge of tightness - no need to visit the Physio! Excellent value. The classes are fun too and I always leave feeling great! Thanks, Romina!
Lil Stephens: Yogo To Go is the best. Romena really understands each individuals needs and capabilities whilst teaching in a relaxed atmosphere.
Tracy Smith: I'm a regular at Yoga To Go and I love the school. I go to the Wed and Fri 6:15am classes most weeks. It's hard to get up early, esp in the winter but it's always worth it. Sarah is a great teacher - she always goes the extra mile to make sure everyone gets the most possible out of every class. Come join us!
W C: My 'go to' studio for the last couple of years and still loving it. The teachers are experienced, well trained and very knowledgeable. They were also fantastic at accommodating me in class throughout my pregnancy. I've been a regular yoga practitioner for over a decade and I would say this is one of the more authentic studios out there (not just a place for strutting leggings).
Ann Nguyen: Lovely Studio and knowledgeable team. Highly recommend Yoga or Pilates classes here if you live or work near Petersham, Sydney. Also possible to purchase a 10 Class Pass on their website which is convenient.
Dani Massey: I practice here regularly and highly recommend the studio, the instructors and Iyengar yoga.
Joanne Ting: Went here regularly during my pregnancy. Well trained staff that knew what they were doing. Wish I had more time now to go back.
Lyndsay Sheridan: An excellent place, I have done the casual beginner Yoga class and found the instructor and venue to be great.
Tasha: Highly recommend

BodyMindLife Surry Hills: what do users think?
Justine Crowley: I did like my experiences with Theresa and Vicky at this studio, for drop in visits - both the yin sessions, and the normal vinyasa flows. It is a bit disappointing to know that I will be charged a $25 no show fee for my yin session with Thana last night, when I did check in with him at the reception area, despite paying $29 for this drop in session. That seems really unfair.
ankhchimeg erdenechuluun: Body Mind Life is a great community with excellent professional teachers, and comfortable studio. I have learned a lot from the yoga and plate’s teachers since going to the Surry Hills studio and I hope will continue to learn. I always really appreciate BodyMindLife.
nick too: On top of membership, there is a $25 fee for missing a class or $15 to cancel a class. Better value elsewhere. Membership cancelled.
Brooke Mac: Good studios, but disappointing that they have introduced wipes to all their studios. An environmental disaster, especially in Byron Bay, even though they're made from bamboo, they are only biodegradable if you check with your local counci & their green waste facility. I would be interested to know if that's what's happening, or are they just going to landfill ?
Lulu: All the instructors were nice but Ali n Vicki S yoga classes were amazing!!!
Tammy White: Ive been going to Vicky Chapmans classes for 9 years now, and my practice has improved progressively over this time. Her attention to detail, body alignment knowledge, and knowledge of the practice and poses are second to none. I can't recommend her classes enough if you want to learn a good intelligent, wholistic yoga practice.
HL: Bad experience at 4pm Sunday yoga with Vicky.Honestly, a bit of a rude instructor... started the class by picking up my phone and two others and removing it from the room without asking for our permission, even though I had it on silent and at the back of the room.Secondly, I've practiced yoga for several years and I appreciate form correction, but the way the teacher spoke felt condescending rather than helpful, laughing at some students when it took them a while to get into the right position.Lastly, yoga should be a time to feel safe, listen to your body and move as you feel is needed in that moment. However, the teacher was judgemental. For example, before our inversion pose, she said "i don't want to see anyone doing a shoulder stand because i think that's so bad for the body" or at the end of class I took a supported block under the sacrum and she literally came up to me, physically removed the block from underneath me and said "never ever do that" even though I find the block very helpful and supportive releasing my back tension.Give this teacher more training!
Priya S: Great place to learn and practise Pilates!!The Surry hills studio is very well located with minutes from central station. The studio is clean and well maintained with good changing rooms. The teachers are excellent; particularly wanted to mention Vee Wiesheu; unfortunately she only teaches twice a week in Surry hill studio. The cost is $62/ week for Pilates only (so not cheap!!). But I would say it is worth the value :)
N: Very clean, pleasant studio with positive vibe. It may get a bit crowded on weekends. I really appreciate they extended my pass when I got covid and couldn’t go there for two weeks.
Jess Barwood: Loving this studio. I’ve left KX and found this place where the instructors focus on form and movement quality. Every class is different and challenging in new ways. And most classes I’ve learned a new exercise! The salt lamps, essential oils and wooden decor just add to the experience making it an incredibly welcoming place. Thanks guys!
Sydney Social: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
Joanne Herrera: Positive:QualityGreat quality yoga classes! I enjoy coming here! Definitely recommend!
Nina: Just a big factory to make money - too busy and stressful.
Nicole Belliveau: Thank you so much to Noelle & Bodymindlife for curating such a profound, inspiring & fun training. It was a joy to be immersed in the studio with like-minded yogis, learning the art & strategies to sequence intelligently. The knowledge I gathered will continue to have a great impact on my own practice & teachings. Very grateful to have been a part of it, Nikki x
Sutheera Mg: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismThe place gives me the sense of security, safe and non-judgmental space. The staff are friendly and give me the warm welcome. The energy in the studio has a positive effect on my mind.
Ada Miyashiro: A great yoga studio and very close to public transport. It offers a variety of timetables and great teachers for all levels. I appreciate that it's open during public holidays and Sundays. I would recommend it to anyone from beginners to advanced levels
Arianna chagollan: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityThe atmosphere, philosophy, and the classes. I like the way every teacher display their own way of teaching, through the different studios without having to be always the same intensity, or patterns, or movements during the work out
Jerome Davidson: Positive:Communication,QualityGood strong yoga with high quality teachers. Great venue and nice community of practitioners.
David Ward: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityI couldn't fault anything, Mandy was lovely & very welcoming and helped me where she could. This was my first ever yoga experience and I will return, after I've got bit more familiar with the basics.

The facilities are always perfectly clean and well maintained and has an overall chilled and relaxed vibe! I love going to classes at One South Yarra! :)
Rachel Armstrong: A stylish and welcoming place to practice with top instructors.
Irene Deltetto: Great studio and teachers!
Harry Winston: One Hot Yogi for 9+ years at the South Yarra studio. This has been our primary yoga studio for my wife and I. It’s been embedded in our lifestyle and it feels great to be a part of the OHY family. There are a variety of teachers with similar, but different, styles. We love the 6am slow hot flow (37 degrees) which is a great way to feel great for the day. There is also mat Pilates which I highly recommend for a toner body. I use to 125KG and now I’m down to 91KG. Flexibility, agility, resilience, strength, and energetic…those are the benefits.
BroReilly3: Great studio and wonderful team/instructors!
Dion Padan: I think all the instructors are so great, they are great for correcting form which I think is important when you first start. The trial pass for $99 was an amazing opportunity for me to see if yoga and pilates was for me as I hadn't done either of them before. I love the studio, music is great too.
Bettina DS: Really like the reformer pilates and teachers. No pretensions. The improvement in my body and movement over the last 6 months has been terrific.
Lawrence May: Had a great sunday morning session here, highly recommend
Bee Stevenson: Every time I walk out of a slow hot flow I feel re-energised and a somewhat different person. I really enjoyed the class with Kaitlin yesterday using the straps to do some amazing twists throughout the flow. The teachers are all amazing they make yoga fun and accesible for all levels. The studios are so spacious and with wonderful facilities.
Blake Sutherland: A super friendly and welcoming team and environment. Beautiful studio and very patient and talented instructors. A super lovely experience!
Alistair&Rebecca Anderson: Fantastic clean and tidy facilities, really helpful instructor and great vibe!
Donald Campbell: I had a one on one with Dom she was incredible great knowledge, really enjoyed my studio pilates experience at one hot yoga
Jessica Hartigan: I really enjoyed the heated mat Pilates class, the teacher was friendly and approachable and the facilities were great
Alison Green: First of all it is a beautiful space, so you feel good as the lift doors open. The classes are designed to suit varying levels of ability so no shame in taking a breather on the mat but also options provided to expand your practice or up the exercise.
Nathalie C: This is a beautiful studio with very well curated offerings. I’ve been on the yoga and reformer membership and find it’s worth the price. I had no previous experience of Pilates, but some with yoga and bikram. One’s hot yoga classes are different, they really combine the best of both worlds and I always leave feeling amazing. Quality across the board is consistent, but special mention goes to Kaitlin and Tanya in yoga, and Erin and Hayley in reformer.
leigh garvan: The Studio Pass is perfect for me - at 75yrs..,Studio instructors tailor my programme with individual consideration to Age/Injury/ pace and optimise the fantastic range of equipment. These days Pilates reformer classes tend to be dominated by strong young attendees which is great, but group Reformer instruction understandably targets that demographic. After 10 years + of Pilates I am an experienced student, and can of course modify resistance to suit in a class, however the opportunity of semi individual instruction at the One Hot Studio is the right choice for me - at 75 yrs.Leigh
Juliana Cameron: The instructor Robyn, was Lovely and very good at what she does. Thank you for a great experience. Xoxo
Mina Rassam: Poor customer services, overcrowded, trainers unfriendly. The studio is on level three and there is a buzzer at the bottom so you'd be lucky if you get in without waiting 5-7 minutes for someone to let you in
Jemima Skelley: The best yoga place I’ve been in Sydney. They’re so welcoming and friendly, even for beginners
Enya Pelling: All of the teachers are amazing and bring their own unique spin to the classes. I always feel comfortable and welcomed

Sky-lab: what do users think?
Diane Logel: Heaven on earth. What a beautiful community, studio to bend into all so many beautiful shapes. With workshops, yoga, and pilates (all swinging from a gorgeous hammock) . The teachers are just so wonderful, and I am so thankful they get to share their joy and passion with us.Best aerial in the world, and that is literal!!!
Kobe Layton: Amazing space and beautiful teachers. Highly recommend giving it a try. A unique mix of yoga, pilates and barre that I haven't seen combined with aerial before. Super fun!
Vee: I can not adequately describe how much I love coming to class and being at Sky-Lab!! It’s such a beautiful space and it’s the only time in my week that my mind is quiet and that I truely feel connected to my body.I’ve found major improvement in my health, breathing and overall well-being since coming to Sky-Lab and can’t thank the instructors enough for their warm guidance in this crazy time. They are absolutely wonderful human beings and amazing teachers and I’m so glad they’ve been able to hold on and deliver such inspiring classes throughout while everything else has seemed in disarray 💙🙏🙂 Thank you
Laura Jones: I've enjoyed coming to the Lab on and off since it opened and post-lockdown it has become my go-to happy place. There aren't many places that offer fun, progressive courses in aerial yoga and Shari has spent the best part of a decade honing her programs so that I get an amazing experience everytime. Whether that be restorative stretch and sound bath classes, sweaty high intensity core, or challenging myself with a new shape in the 10 week courses. The '6 weeks to shred' program was part of my wedding prep in 2018 and I loved seeing the progressive changes in my body tone and shape from the intense training. On top of all of that, the space is a total oasis in the city.Through 2021's never ending lockdown Shari's personalised wellness program was an absolute godsend for my mental health with a daily zoom workout that at times was the only fun thing in my day. I came out physically and mentally stronger for it with new friendships with the community of awesome humans who frequent the lab as members. If you're sick of the gym and looking for your next fitness obsession, or just curious to explore, then the lab is for you.
Sera Beki: My friend and I booked for the beginners class. We went into lockdown so we couldn’t attend the session. We’ve tried to contact sky lab rebook or discuss our refund options. They have not responded to date.06.Feb.22: Sky lab to date still have not responded.
Donna Kim:
Sarka Pechova: This place is stunning.you should teď at least once :-)
Anna Whiting: What an amazing space and team!!!Have always had a love for aerial yoga but the sky-lab crew take it to the next level, deepening the art form and physical practise with beautiful connection to breath and inner journey.I can’t get to class at the moment, so have started exploring the online offerings which are supportive, inspiring and a great work out.Highly recommend
Yvonne Y: If I could give 6 stars, I would!Sky-lab is my second home, every session I do here, I come out brand new!Shari and her team of teachers are more than just instructors, they are mentors, friends, cheerleaders and supporters! They have worked with me through multiple injuries and continue to give me the confidence and belief to tackle new shapes, new challenges and new sequences with a smile. Some people like solid results, they give that too:- I managed to plank 7'48'' after keeping up a routine schedule of aerial classes at sky-lab- During the covid online class period, I put on 2kg of lean muscle mass!Just writing this review, like all the visits to the studio, brightens up my day❤️
Kavya Vijayakumar: I love this place and the trainers and the ambiance and everything about this place. But the only problem is the communication with this team is very hard. It is a real struggle to contact someone from this team and if they can improve that, this is the best in Sydney so far.
Xiaotong Liu: It was such a great experience! The coach was patient despite our clumsy and fairly big group! It was also very relaxing and free beverages were offered before and after the session.
Catherine Adams: I absolutely love Sky-lab, I highly recommend that everyone give it a try. The practuces vary in their intensity level and all levels of fitness can participateI have been going for just over a year now and I have never found a practice that I enjoy more. All the instructors are amazing and Shari is so encouraging and supportive! The community here is incredible. Give it a try and see what you think!
Laura Ortiz Morales: I hardly ever write reviews but I have to say this workshop was terrible! I have been doing aerial yoga on and off for about a year and I was keen to show my family all about aerial so I dragged them to the workshop. We all walked out absolutely disappointed. Honestly don’t waste your money. Maybe try a class instead because this workshop is expensive and pointless. This workshop seems to be exclusively to take a nice selfie at the end. Also it was overbooked to the point the teacher did not have a hammock!!! So she had to use an student hammock to demonstrate wasting lots of time. Honestly terrible!!!
Victoria Moras: Terrible workshop! I did not like it. I didn’t leaned anything about aerial yoga and I feel like it was a waste of money. I was very much looking forward to learning about aerial yoga and I didn’t learn a thing. Paying $45 for a selfie is definitely not worth it.
Laura Morales: This workshop is pointless. If you want to learn about aerial yoga don’t do it! The workshop was overbooked. It seems like the only purpose it was to take a selfie at the end. A complete waste of money. Honestly don’t even bother if you want to learn aerial yoga. $45 ripoff 😥😥😥
Aldo Azael Vázquez Velázquez: The class was overbook and boring. I didn’t get the point of the class as i felt no physical activity was being done and the teacher took forever to help 17 students to get it right, it would be better if there were less students in the class. It seems like the point of the workshop was to take the perfect selfie instead of learning and it wasn’t worth the price paid. Therefore that is why I give it 1 star.
Marcus Hall: Went to a private class taught by Jaclyn. It was a great space with a great instructor. It was an excellent experience and I will defintely be back. The chilled face towels at the end are a nice touch!
Kate Hinchcliffe: I cannot recommend this place enough! Having only ever practised yoga on the floor, I wasn’t sure aerial yoga would be inside my comfort zone. A friend and I had a private with Jaclyn and I absolutely loved it! It was great fun and Jaclyn made us feel very comfortable and safe. I felt so wonderful and calm afterwards. We will definitely be back!
Kelly Jacobs: Beautiful space, lots of fun and a great workout too!
Nikki Brown: I love this space and the lab community. The studio is an absolute oasis, so warm and welcoming. Shari has truly built something so special. The progressive yoga courses have allowed me to expand my repertoire of shapes, flips, and tricks - which, in turn, have allowed me to develop my confidence in the practise and in myself. The range of open classes are perfect for conditioning, building strength, stretching, and decompressing. Exercise never feels like a chore - hanging out is so much fun!
Wendy Crane: Sky-lab has completely changed my life in the most incredible ways. This truly is an oasis in the city, where you can find peace and strength in your body and your mind. Totally addicted! All the instructors are amazing, inspiring and will help you reach your goals. Best.
