Australian Film Television and Radio School: what do users think?
Tamsin Emma: This place is disgusting! From the bullying to the lack of imagination you’re aloud to have.Very unhealthy place to be if you want to follow your dreams. Such negativity those people have.
Jipp Stam: Highly recommended for talent-less executive managers and lazy board members: great pay, no accountability, and the staff are highly compliant (with frequent re-structuring used effectively to eliminate those who are not).If you are a student, there are pros and cons. More likely than not, you'll be disappointed in your dreams of making that great short film or brilliant TikTok content. The good news is, you will not have to study any difficult ideas or meaningful theory (or much of anything else for that matter). If you are support staff and/or a teacher and you are committed to mediocrity, enjoy working in organisations dedicated to upholding the stupidity paradox, and like sincere, shiny, happy leaders holding hands, you've found your home!
Lil: GREAT and affordable Cafe inside. Highly recommend it. Lovely place inside as well :) teachers are lovely. Erin is a sweetie.
Brian Daly: Highly recommended
Raymond Lim: Great experience
Josh King: As a student with Asperger's Syndrome I was severely bullied there in 2002 and was psychologically targeted by an individual after my graduation. I am currently commencing a campaign to raise awareness about the safety of students with disabilities. I will be voicing my concerns very soon. Bullies must not be rewarded #AllVoicesCount
ArealGrandpa1918 Areal!: very good school where i got taught to act, unlike my ex :D
Chris: Nice friendly staff
Nathan Collett: Great facilities and staff
Troy Murphie: I'd suggest looking elsewhere before studying here. Way overpriced compared to other schools. They wow you with the Open Day and then once you are a student they are very restrictive with what equipment they will allow you to use. Its a real shame because this school has the potential to be great.
Leonard Low: I've visited this excellent campus with its up-to-date facilities and close proximity to Fox Studios; and I've worked with numerous AFTRS alumni - who have all been great ambassadors for their school.
MishManners: This place is soooo cool. Absolutely fantastic to hold our event there
Nirmal Kaur Dhadiala: The
AL Fox: Awesome film school. Great short coarses in multimedia as well as full time showbiz industry studies.
Christopher Gorton: I have previously attended almost every open short course on the Acting and Presenting/performance side of Film, Television and Radio. I might return in the future and attend some behind the scenes/production course. Such as writing, producing a directing for film tv and radio to name a few. I live in Newcastle and more students traveled from over Australia to attend these open short course, apart from me and the locals down there in Sydney. There has also been students traveling from Wollongong,Dubbo, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and the Gold Coast to name a few. I've had quite a few from Melbourne coming during most of my previous visits.
eerohei: feels like the right place to study film making in all aspects on Southern Hemisphere
Dow Zhong: Lovely place to learn about creation of movies(plot). Great for school excursions. Good venue too
Bridget Foliaki-Davis: A beautiful venue filled with inspiration. I recently attended a YouTube pop here and was wowed by the space and the staff. A Friendly and helpful team operate here with loads of resources and inspriation to boot. The venue does not have parking, so park in the Main entertainment quarter carpark and take the easy stroll over to the building which is past the cinemas and opposite the Brent street dance studio.
uPVC com au Dmitry Australia Wide (Back-Up Account): Was a great insight into the movie business!!! :) AAA+++
Martin: Amazing
Kieran de Terra: Top notch purpose built film school.

Liveschool: what do users think?
Neil D: A well organised school with friendly staff, that offers content that’s easy to approach, suitable for all levels of ableton/music experience (but best suited for those that are experienced with general computer software). They offer plenty of online resources that are great for revision after the fact and networking with the broader community, as well as some great free workshops run by guest lecturers from the industry. The only downside is that their courses come with a hefty price tag, but if you can afford it, it’s worth it.
Mitch: Highly recommend for all skill levels. Everyone I learnt from was extremely proficient in their craft. There was many things I learnt that I wish I knew when I started out in music production a few years back. All trainers actively work in the music industry and are always open to learning new skills themselves. Thanks legends!
Josh Bailey: A great way to start your electronic music production journey. Whether you've played around with Ableton yourself already or haven't even purchased it to begin with, Liveschool takes you through every fundamental aspect of producing music within your laptop. The teachers and staff are always very welcoming and make you feel at home as you enter class. Highly recommend the course and if you're unsure about any info send them an email as they're very friendly and responsive to queries : ))
aman rana: Best music production school in sydney. Highly recommended if anyone wants to take their production skills to next level.
Alex: As a graduate of Liveschool I can confidently say that this is a fantastic way to learn the craft of making music with the beast that is Ableton. The content, teaching, organisation and overall energy of the course and its surrounds gives rise to a fantastic and challenging learning experience that will see your abilities develop dramatically. I urge anyone who makes the wise decision to take on one of their courses to give it their full attention in class and to then make as much music as possible in the their spare time to really get as much as they can from this course, it is worth it 100%!
Leonard Peters: I came in knowing nothing about Ableton but left knowing heaps....this was due to the professionalism and interest that all staff and trainers took in my progress.....I would highly recommend this world class facility to everyone who wants to fast track their musical journey.....
Lochie Stevens: Such an amazing course! The trainers and staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the content of the course is just perfect for learning Ableton Live and music in general. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about electronic music!
Koniac Net: Perfect place to realise your creative potential with a bunch of really cool people who know exactly what they are doing . More importantly its a big heads up to all sorts of music genre . More than satisfied with my time here
hulla baloo: Ive been using Ableton for 12yrs and was sceptical about doing the Produce Music course. How wrong i was! From the very first "Begin" lesson i was learning new things. The cirriculum is set up in a very easy straight forward way and that coupled with teachers who are so knowledgable in not just Ableton but music and sound in general leaves me to recommend Liveschool to anyone serious about a career in sound!
James Herlihy: This is an awesome school - really high quality teaching, course and facilities. Great setup in classrooms with good equipment and space for everyone and small classes so the instructor can spend time with everyone. Great teaching by Josh - our enthusiastic and experienced instructor (who's also a producer himself, which is important). Good syllabus and pace of teaching - stretches you a bit at times if you're not experienced with Ableton like me, but in a good way that makes the lessons really productive. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to take their production to the next level.
Erik Kimbler (Aegyptus): Check them out
Jay: Awesome teachers who really know their stuff and make learning Ableton really practical and hands on. I learnt more doing this course one day a week than I did at my other previous full-time place of study. Highly recommended and perfect for anyone who is interested in starting their producing or DJing journey or someone who just wants to enhance their skills and have a better understanding of Ableton and music.
Andrey Dinov: if you are one of these people that don't know music theory the way professional musicians do or just want to know a different way of looking at electronic production, like meMusic Theory Course is 100% for you!Even after a month of taking the course, I still go back to my Liveschool account and read things they uploaded on there.4 weeks was not enough for me, theres is a lot of good information that they give out + you can always google things up online and find information in detail. You get a life long access to the website which is definitely one of the best things about the course.A big thank you to all the teachers that made the course THAT amazing! There is always room for improvement, keep at it ;)
Sophie: I recently did the Begin class with Abelton Live School and absolutely loved it! Whether or not you came from a musical background, everything was explained very clearly and I certainly want to come back and do more courses with them soon!
Manbat: Improved my productions beyond measure. I especially recommend the Mixing and Mastering course.
Andrew Simons: I recently completed the focus series at liveschool after spending years learning about production from forums and youtube. Since starting the courses there has been a significant change in the quality of the music I have been producing. At the school you learn to approach production in a way that allows you to develop your own sound as an artist and translate your ideas into professional sounding tracks.I also really like the philosophy of the school in teaching techniques to decode other artist’s music rather than giving templates (for example there is no “this is how to make a house track”). The result is that I am now able to take any track I like and work out how the sounds, arrangement, musical structure, and mix give the track its “feel.” Never again will I have to google “how to make my track sound like X.”I’d highly recommend liveschool for anybody serious about making professional sounding music and developing their own sound as an artist.
Liam Turner: I wanted to get into producing music this year and so looked around for a few courses and settled on Create & Destroy at Liveschool. I was apprehensive before I started, regarding the cost of the course (having never been to such a course before) but in the end the quality of the content, resources, tuition, and support far exceeded my expectations. The staff are all super friendly and keen to be involved in whatever style of music you want to make. They have a tonne for gear to try out and mess around with, and teach a range of techniques that can be used with or without extra gear. The student support was prompt, and feedback excellent.
Michael Mai: Long story short, music theory baffled me and to be honest seemed daunting and unbearable. But after taking the plunge and enrolling in their Music Theory course, felt very worth it and very satisfied, everything is broken down in an easy to understand a relevant manner which personally got me writing faster than before. Loved it
iamelixir: After spending literally years in trial and error, these guys have really helped me get on track with production. I didn't come from an Ableton background but feel completely at home now. The guys at Liveschool really know their stuff, they're true industry pros where you just want to pick their brains. You can ask questions and they are really supportive in class and remotely. The course materials you get are high quality from the class notes to online tutorials. If you're looking to improve in Ableton, definitely check them out.
Benjamin Duddy: I found the music theory course I attended extremely helpful in putting me on the right path to writing better structured music. The staff were incredibly helpful and great to learn from and would recommend anyone who has an interest in any of their courses to seriously check it out.
WP K: These guys make producing tunes that much easier. After doing a course here you will have Ableton unlocked - no more workflow breakdowns, just endless possibilities to make whatever sound you have in your head come to life. Great teachers, access to tutorial videos, the courses are beyond worthwhile.

Academy of Film, Theatre & Television: what do users think?
Umair Ashraf: Very bad experience . Disrespectful staff
Arshad Shaik: This is the place where India’s blockbuster movie Arjun reddy (kabir singh ) director Sandeep Reddy vanga studied .
Harlow: My director was Anthony Skuse and I lasted 2 weeks. His treatment towards female actors is horrendous. Please get help Anthony because it’s not fair how I have to go to therapy because of you.
brent hazelton: I went to this school, and I want my 2 years back. The worst experience of my entire life. Anthony Skuse is an embarrassing excuse of a director. Misogynistic, self entitled and honestly disgusting. Please never go to this school it is ridiculous!
Lucy Waters: So disorganisied it's embarrassing
Laksa Soup: Total cash grab. Have had to unlearn everything I learned there and only then did I start booking work.Still find myself falling into bad habits some instructors instilled in me. They don't cater to those with a natural aptitude - they make everyone follow the same format/syllabus which is absolutely impractical.
Enoch Li: Great staff

Sydney Conservatorium of Music: what do users think?
F: Not a student but going to their gold coin donation public lunchtime performances is wonderful, I played the violin in primary school and would know some really nice people who probably went to the university to study. Often people fall asleep during the performances in the evenings.
Supra Chan: 美丽的建筑
Barbara rocha: Assisti a uma orquestra de músicos jovens!!! Lindooooo
Calli Mcke: Always a beautiful venue for musical concerts.
Marco Benedet: Palazzo interessanti in un angolo del giardino botanico
Jordan Liling: I found studying both here and Sydney University very engaging and interesting. The campus has wonderful lecturers and tutorial teachers. The rooms have so many grand and upright pianos and are excellent for rehearsing music, or simply just discussing anything. There are many concerts held in the main lecture hall. Have a visit here to discover a world of music that’s beyond what you would expect.
Amanda Mason: Excellent adults' short course program!
Linda Stynes: I have attended many lunchbreak concerts which are excellent. The high standard is remarkable. Congratulations to students and staff.
Brook Ayrton: Was a student there back in the day. A fantastic building incorporating the old government house stables (the castle like sandstone building) and a new modern concrete construction formed underground, between the tunnels of the city circle train line. There are portions of the building devoted to historical excavations of early settlement infrastructure. There is also a display of respect to First Nation peoples and a picture panel of first settlement in the circular quay farm cove area.
Salim Vhora: Imposing old building within Royal Botanic Gardens.
Zeph: Learn to be the best. Top Gun for musicians but for sure they may not look like Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer or Jennifer Connelly.
Xoom Too: Rating: 5/5 💎The Layout: The library is on the second floor, but when you walk into the building you’ll be on the third. When you walk in and look to the left you’ll see a counter for asking questions, and if you continue going straight you’ll notice a little section for games and knitting. After passing the knitting and games section you’ll see a few shelves and a lot of tables to sit at. Some tables are to the right edge of the library and they’re a bit more isolated. The tables and chairs are kind of sorted out into mini cubicles and some of them have a charger and some don’t. There’s a downstairs and they have a good amount of seats and seats with cushions. There’s also more of a book section downstairs than there is upstairs.🎲My experience: I was randomly looking up libraries near me on google maps and this place popped up, and I was looking for reviews to see if it was good to go to or not and I only saw 3 reviews and they barely had any pictures so I thought that I could do a review. While I was taking pictures and videos, I came across a knitting section where they literally had everything you needed for knitting and I immediately stopped taking pictures and sat down and started knitting lol but before that, when I first saw the knitting section, I was quite surprised and in awe, because no other libraries that I’ve been to before had a knitting section.I came at about 2pm-3pm until about 7pm mainly because it was raining, but also because it was very quiet and I had things to do. When I walked into the library there were about 11 people; most people were using their computers and 2 other people were playing in the games section. I did think that this library may not be exactly the best reading library, but a good one to study or work on your computer at.📐Likes: I thought the building’s shape was very cool; it looked very similar to a castle. I liked how there weren’t that many people and due to that it was quite peaceful. One interesting thing, and a thing that I liked too, was that the next morning I went early to the library, and the librarian there was walking up to where I was sitting, and she had a platter of bananas, apples, and oranges.
Don Lan: Một nơi được tổ chức các buổi sự kiện, hoà nhạc.
Roger Mar: It was very good.
Koala Power: It was great!!!
David Slezak: Appropriate place to listen to Russia songs
Brian Kao: this school finna make me act up ;)
Ken Burgin: Such a pleasure to attend concerts in the Verbrugghen Hall, especially with a youth orchestra. Last night with Stravinsky and Debussy...
picugs: I’ve been attending the Open Academy lessons for over a year and will continue for long!Great environment of music professionals.
Bill: Great courses for everybody with an interest in any type of music.
Helen Gardner: ⁰098⁰and upon to jjplj7j a

aman lama: please do not study commercial cookery in this college unless you wanna get hammered by 60 assessments in single semester and trust me when you are not able to submit 1 assessment it will cost you 50$ just to resubmit 1 assessment. calculate the money if you have to resubmit 30 assignment. some of the student have 50- 100 assessments left to submit. trust me its a scam and extortion masked as education.
Madhav sapkota: Great College,Amazing staff and very helpful trainers. One of the best College in Sydney
Bishal Thapa: I a passed out student of SCCM, i had a really good experience throughout my whole 3 years of study. All the service are good from service desk to tutors a very special thanks to my tutors Mr ANOJ POKHREL Ms MAMTA JOSHI AND MILAN MEHTA and student service teamMs ARGINA JOSHI AND PRATIKSHYA SHRESTHA . I have always found a positive and healthy environment and the teachers are highly supportive. Most of my doubts were cleared after the classes get over. I am very thankful to SCCM for providing such a good tutor and friendly staff for the easiness of students.Best thing i had experienced in sccm is PEO, M/s RANJU WAGLE THAPA. She is very positive motivating and inspiring to her students, specially for the new comers students, she is more than a guardian for students, she had helped me a-lot and a-lot of times during my hard times, there was not a single time i had to came out of her office with disappointment, she is very calm with positive attitude and always gives 100% to her students. I am highly thankful to you for providing me with an opportunity to be a part of your college. Which has provided me with a number of opportunities to grow and explore my skills.I Highly recommend Sydney City college of management for all the offshore and onshore students.🙏🙏
Dharbendra Yadav: "How many of us feel still closely tied with our college even after graduation?"Hi, My name is Dharbendra Prasad YADAV. I started studying at SCCM in 2019 as my first college here in Australia. I did my diploma and advanced diploma of IT(completed in 2021).The support from Tutor and Staffs were magnificent. Of course they are still in touch with me and help me with mentorship whenever I needed.I can’t miss to say about Ranju mam (CEO and Principal). If I have to say, she is like one of my guardian here in Australia. I was in touch with here before I came to Australia. I had few trouble with finance in early 2021, she was there to assist me with that, and provided me with the facilities available there. Also mentorship which later helped my get a job as Marketing and Administration Assistant at Rebb TechEnvironment with like-minded people and friends are very important if you’re thinking to learn and explore, and SCCM provided me that.My overall experience with SCCM is absolutely amazing. The skills and experience I got from SCCM, I am using it in my real life. I don’t believe I will need to struggle to adapt with technologies and tools I’ve studied at SCCM already.Today, I got a chance to meet with Ranju mam and got my final transcript, I feel I’m still student of SCCM and will continue to visit SCCM in the future, I feel attachment with SCCM.I am sure, SCCM will keep helping students like me in the future. I would suggest to start a career with SCCM for every students thinking about Australia as their Study Destination.
Trilochana Gautam: I have had a good experience at SCCM . I would recommend every new comers to think about SCCM for once. You will have a good experience for sure☺️.
Manish Rijal: This is the worst college I have been so far. I will never recommend for upcoming new student from overseas country to enrol in this college. They don't understand the problem of students and alwys be rude to them.Very poor teacher and mentors.Specially (administrative and accounts staffs). Teachers just come for time pass and don't teach at all. The sleep in class. For upcoming student please check tutuion fees coz everyone will have different fees and you might be the one to get bigger amount. So, please choose different and better college or choose uni compared to sccm.👎👎 very disappointed with the system.
Ayush Thapa: I had wonderful time while studying at SCCM. College my be strict a times and act based on regulation however staff and management are very approachable and they look into your matter very seriously when need be. When you comply with college's regulations, trust me at the end it is benifits you and you cant thank enough.
