Le Cordon Bleu Australia (Sydney): what do users think?
Jorge Botero: Best
cindy fransisca: Student service not helpful
Georgiana Burungiu: I just finished my year with LCB...i had a great time and learned so many things!Staff goes all in for their students..especially the chefs!!!Highly recommend this culinary school!
jeufjc ehrhd: 졸업생입니다. 제발 돈 버리지마세요
Simon K: Lovely people can’t fault them.
ELM Ford: Terrific experience for both the customer and the students here. A great way to interact and amazing food. Presentation is exceptional.
Mickael P.: The coffee maker is very friendly and always smile and nice with everyone.I put a 2** for the price and quality product. It is Tafe it should be cheaper than anywhere else. They put the coffee from $3 to $3.50 it is 16.66% of increase ! It is not the best coffee either. That is unacceptable. You have to go out of Tafe to get a $2 coffee at Top Ryde. That put the students at risks in crossing the main roads.# stop crazy inflation now.
Karina Bright: Positive:Quality,Value
Edgar Nolan Antoniius: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Bella Tung: delicious food and great service
Trang Nguyen: All LCB student service is the worst service, no help at all ( as they always said we here to help) and so in responsive, all the things they can help student is to ask student contact another department when any issues happended or have to book appointment online first ( and appointment always take 2-3 days to reply so what the point they are here to help.I have completed Advanced diploma, there is no problems for me in cooking. However, i suggest everyone do not choose LCb for any advanced study rather than cooking if you aready completed any study ( degree, bachelor, master) before. What the point spending 6 hours in school study 2 subjects and you are required to do assignment at school, you cannot leave earlier. For me, its ridiculous, we all not children need someone to observe while we doing assignment, and all assignment need to be 100% correct which is no mistakes ( not like degree you can be D, HD,C or F). For examples, if you have just only 1 wrong question, you have to come to school in another resubmission day to fix just only 1 question.I have one subject which is transferred credit, but i only have approval for that when i finished payment for upcoming term and LCb did not guide me how to take my money back until the end of term. i have to write email to Financial department asking about my money. This is unacceptable, I feel like this school trying to take money as much as they can, no responsibility to give me back money.
황준성: 이 학교 정말 좋아요힘듥얽욝 괅젥 넑묽 많앍욝
fitness kings: I have to ask a question plz tell if I applied for studies and got refusal sooo how much fees you refund me
Hùng Anh: Not so good LCB
Raja08 Paramasivam: Chirog SoodA student of yours working with me in Rydges Hotel, North Sydney. He ate my chicken What I cooked on Friday the 31st May. I started cooking at 1.30pm on 31st and ended up at 2.30pm. He ate it and said that By 3.30pm he got Food poisoning. I would like to know is that he taught about food poisoning happen in one hour. I studied in India cullinary if food poisoning happens after 3 hours.I just would like to know Which is true. Is he been taught this way. Also I had that chicken on friday and saturday 1st june. Nothing happened to me.
Leo Sommerich: I have been there many times. The students all seem very talented & professional in both waiting & preparing outstanding meals. The presentation, quality & flavour are excellent, an amazing experience of fine dining at an affordable price in a great dining environment! It is a credit to the teaching staff & the management!
minh duc: The place for education without support. They just focus how can hold you back and make you pay more. Teacher unprofessional and alot of trouble for the student service .
Mr DJ: I regret choosing Le Cordon Bleu Sydney to learn how to cook. It’s only been a few days since the course started and I wish I hadn’t made this stupid huge mistake. Not everyone goes to the school to be a chef, some people including me do so as to enjoy cooking more as a hobby which is what I personally think the LCB staff should be aware of. It was the third day yesterday and I’ve completely lost all my interest in cooking.I heard LCB would teach you from basic how to cut stuff to superior and were beginner-friendly which was the main reason why I picked this one but you know what? It was false information. If you insist rushing beginners to memorise all the different kinds of ways to cut veggies in a 2 hour long demo class and then expecting them to do exactly what the chef did in the previous class the same day without help is LCB’s way of teaching, then I have no words. Plus, aren’t the people that are so called teachers supposed to “help” students when they have difficulty? Most of the chefs (teachers) would just be like, “Did you not pay attention to the demo class? You should know how to do it,” “Well look at the pictures you took in Demo class,” and then just walk away. What is the point in paying $60,000+ dollars when there is no difference between learning by watching Youtube videos and attending the expensive school? The school rules are ridiculous as well. The most stupid thing out of all is there’s so many assessments and if you fail twice, you pay a lot of amount to re-take the same course or something like that. Seems like it’s very easy to take money from students. The chefs won’t allow you to be in classes either if your uniforms are not ironed and always say they’re so strict so we can get used to the real kitchen environment but it’s not really convincing. You don’t pay your job the ridiculous amount, do you?Every day since day 1, I’ve been thinking to myself I should’ve listened to those who said “do not go to LCB”and I didn’t take the advice and that resulted in a waste of my time.Honestly, stress and anxiety are the only things I’ve got from the school experience so far. A couple of months of my life has been wasted by the mistake I’ve made but it was a good lesson because at least now I know the importance of listening to others sometimes.I’ve already made up my mind that I’m changing to a different school, so good luck with your decision if you have included this school as an option for your cookery journey because you’ll need it.
Local Guide Remediator: Just tried the Degustation dinner at the restaurant with friends. $65 each. We enjoyed all the meals with the soup being the most popular. Looking at the reviews it appears the identical menu is still being serviced 2 years later. If it is your first visit the entry is via Parkes St and drive all the way to the top back building and restaurant is on level 4.

Moore Park Golf Course: what do users think?
Jason Lee: The golf course is well organized. If you live near the city, this is a must-visit place.
Shuang Liu: 适合休息运动
Simon Pearce: Loooove wacking a ball down the 15 yard mark after 7 missed swings. My own fault. Great facility
Charlie de Sousa: Great driving range and the staff are very knowledgeable. Loads of bays. Best to avoid when sun is setting in the west as you can't see the ball after you hit if its in the direction of sun.
Nathan: Super friendly and helpful staff !
jimbo australia: Amazing food service and value highly recommended
David Young: Good event venue. Catering was reasonable but food was a bit cold.
nick nardo: Great friendly service
waleed khan: Ausome place for golf and fun.
이Judy: 접근성이 용이하고 예약하기 쉬우며 그린상태도 괜찮습니다
Kebin Kang: 접근성 좋고, 예약 편하고,그린 상태 괜춘.간혹 티칭 한다고 하는. 사람들 있음.
veronica sydney: Fun and easy access.
Chris Hopkins: Well organized crew, course was in good shape and had a great round. The cockatoo's preferred orange balls :-)
Mattie Ho: Moore Park Golf Club is a hidden gem located in the heart of Sydney. One interesting fact about the club is that it has a long and storied history dating back to 1913 when it was first established. Over the years, the course has hosted numerous national and international events, cementing its reputation as one of the best golf courses in the country. But the club is not just for avid golfers. It also has a fantastic restaurant and bar that offers delicious food and drinks in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're looking to enjoy a casual lunch with friends or a romantic dinner with your significant other, the restaurant at Moore Park Golf Club is sure to impress.
Christian Link: Lovely 18-hole course with a large Deiving Range (gets full though on weekends). Bar closes before sunset so unfortunately no after-golf drinks
Sean Ware: Lovely course. Just played 8 holes but I will be back to play 18.
T Humps: In good condition but expensive and always takes 5.5hours +! Played 6 times, made it to 18 before dark once… A course marshal would help us get in before dark.
Ritika: Had good experience, came around sunset so the view was really nice.
Wooden Ayman: Good
ruairi mc grade: Nice course too busy always a slow round 5 hours +
HYUNMIN JOO: 시내에서 가까워서 접근성좋고 그린상태도 훌륭하고 여유있게 란딩할수 있어서 너무 좋네요. 한국분이 많이 보이네요. 여행오면 한번은 꼭 들리는 골프장입니다.

Manly Surf School: what do users think?
R: Straight up the best surf school in the country. Tried a lesson at Bondi and was so frustrated by the chaos that I almost quit. Then I booked into Manly Surf school and from the very first lesson coaches and staff were super supportive, encouraging and helpful in all conditions and weather. I’ve seen major progress in a short time. Worth booking into lessons here, trust me! Highly recommend asking for Nick, Tas, Bella, Gabby….they’re all amazing! A solid women’s program as well. Staff are super accommodating, professional and helpful no matter your skill or level!
Alexandre LE REST: Pour ma première fois sur une planche de surf c'est une franche réussite. Le cadre est magnifique et les moniteurs sont juste top. Je recommande pour tout les novices. J'ai vraiment vécu une superbe expérience avec mes amis.
David Macalpine: Fantastic for kids over the school holidays, best thing about it is how lovely and friendly the teachers are! Great work :)
Jo: The young instructors were not helpful and they were surfing by themselves. No instructions or telling the wave what so ever. The worst experience wasting my money.
Aaron Schweifler: We lived in Manly for a few months and this place is even better than the great reviews say. They are a great group and they run excellent lessons. Flexible on bad surf days and helpful on good surf days!
Jeff Gladnick: I took 2 1:1 lessons from Nick and Max - both were fantastic and really took the time to customize the lesson to my ability. I leveled up quickly and improved a lot. Learned a lot both sessions. Highly recommend for beginner surfers trying to move to the next level.
Alicia Guerrero Lopez: It was my first time doing surf in Australia and was amazing. Bella was so nice and so helpful. Very affordable prices and good service. I bought a pack of 5 classes and I'm looking forward to the next class. THAN YOU :)
G S: My daughter has been participating in the after school lessons on Wednesdays at Long Reef. She has loved every second of it and I cannot rate Manly Surf School highly enough. The conditions have sometimes been challenging but this is all part of surfing. The instructors number one priority is the kids safety and I love that they sit them on the sand and educate them about rips etc first. My daughter's confidence in the water has grown so much and Wednesday is her favourite day of the week. She always has a huge smile on her face when we're driving home.Special shout out to Ricardo who does an amazing job of teaching them about the ocean, being ever so patient with them, keeping them safe and always picking out the best waves to push them into!
Uschi Joshua: Unfortunately, I cannot share the reviews of others: The group lessons were attended by +15 beginners, with only two instructors not really engaging with everybody in the water: How can they? It was almost dangerous to get on the board and up as there were way too many people at one spot. The water was admittedly pretty choppy, so only assigning two instructors for such a large group is simply unacceptable. Who can steer as a beginner? Nobody does. Charging $75 for 1.5 hrs for something like that is simply outrageous.
Aleksandra Banasiewicz-Tenerowicz: The lesson was great! The son was very pleased. I recommend!
C B: Fantastic!
Sierra Lee: Max was the best instructor I could ever ask for as a complete beginner to surfing. He was generous and very skillful at giving out instructions. Huge thank you to Max for making my first surfing experience such a memorable one!
Nidhi Bolar: My friend and I had such an amazing experience at Manly Surf School! All the instructors were really kind and helpful. A special shoutout to Zoe, who gave me great pointers and was always looking out for me!Will definitely come back for another session!
Niki Varga: Had so much fun at my first surfing lesson with these guys in a group of 21 people. They are very dedicated, helpful and fun. They explain a lot of the basics and then get you have your go in the white water. Fun way to learn and definitely made me want more. Thanks guys! I'll sleep very well tonight 😆😆😆
Onder “Max” Gok: We had a great experience at Manly Surf School. Staff was great and very informative. This was our first time for our 8 years old daughter to learn surfing. Our instructor Innes was amazing, Lara enjoyed it so much, and she is looking forward to have more classes at Manly Surf School
Dominic Hughes: Fantastic experience as a first surf lesson. Lots of help and support in and out of the water from coaches, especially leader Kelly. All four of us just about managed to stand up a few times by the end!
Tereza Staňková: We absolutely loved our surfing lesson from Manly Surf School and had to come back the next day. Besides the great experience, the surfers were all so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!
Václav Láznička: Thank you guys for such an amazing experience. Definitely the best time we had during our stay in Sydney. Specifically thanks to Tas, Igor and Matt, who took the best care of us and made the lessons amazing. Hopefully we'll be back soon.
Wahchi Vong: Had an incredible time at Manly Surf School! I’m on holiday and did a private session with Igor for an hour. It has been a major highlight of my trip. An inspirational and experienced instructor, had such a fantastic time. Highly recommend! Would definitely come back! Thank you Igor and Manly Surf School!
julian merigliano: Incredible time! Instructor was a great guy, super patient and helpful. The rest of the staff were really friendly too. Even got a free hot chocolate too
Joshua ?: Really great surf school and it's perfect for beginners

Martial Energy- Sydney's Best Karate Kickboxing Muaythai Judo & Jiu Jitsu School/Classes/Training: what do users think?
Tan L: Money grabbers, they don't care about you or your goals. Do not recommend!
Will Power: Been in the game for a while, Sensei ND is one of the few people I am happy to train under. I started to focus on weights instead of MMA in the lockdowns. Now my true passion for MMA is being reignited by a tested and proven warrior.
Nevena Grujic: Signed up for a 6 month membership, but quit after 3. Decided I'd rather pay a large exit fee than stay any longer.Few things to note:-The gym is closed during school holidays, but still require you to pay for your membership even though you can't train. This is not explictly stated in the contract so be aware.-During gradings, which occur for 1-2 weeks, most classes are cancelled, but you still pay the same fee for less than half the classes to be available to you. If you pay for a grading and fail, you lose your money and no re-grading is offered.-The gym is often closed due to competitions with little to no notice being made.-The upstairs gym is a great plus and often not used, but does not seem well-maintained. The speaker system was taken downstairs with no replacement made. On one occasion, I came to use the gym at night but the lights were not working, resulting in me having to go back home.Overall you will get a workout at this gym, but I cannot recommend it due to its money-hungry nature and unreliability when it comes to its own class schedule. You can find better for less elsewhere.
Wahid Wahid: Critical:QualityJust want to get your money that all keeps pushing and lying to charge you more
RAGGED: We've been going for a couple of years now, they're great with kids and it's been very beneficial to their development.
Jason Axiak: Friendly place, great teacher
Allen Damien: Great place to train at a d instructor is, amazing.

Sydney Conservatorium of Music: what do users think?
F: Not a student but going to their gold coin donation public lunchtime performances is wonderful, I played the violin in primary school and would know some really nice people who probably went to the university to study. Often people fall asleep during the performances in the evenings.
Supra Chan: 美丽的建筑
Barbara rocha: Assisti a uma orquestra de músicos jovens!!! Lindooooo
Calli Mcke: Always a beautiful venue for musical concerts.
Marco Benedet: Palazzo interessanti in un angolo del giardino botanico
Jordan Liling: I found studying both here and Sydney University very engaging and interesting. The campus has wonderful lecturers and tutorial teachers. The rooms have so many grand and upright pianos and are excellent for rehearsing music, or simply just discussing anything. There are many concerts held in the main lecture hall. Have a visit here to discover a world of music that’s beyond what you would expect.
Amanda Mason: Excellent adults' short course program!
Linda Stynes: I have attended many lunchbreak concerts which are excellent. The high standard is remarkable. Congratulations to students and staff.
Brook Ayrton: Was a student there back in the day. A fantastic building incorporating the old government house stables (the castle like sandstone building) and a new modern concrete construction formed underground, between the tunnels of the city circle train line. There are portions of the building devoted to historical excavations of early settlement infrastructure. There is also a display of respect to First Nation peoples and a picture panel of first settlement in the circular quay farm cove area.
Salim Vhora: Imposing old building within Royal Botanic Gardens.
Zeph: Learn to be the best. Top Gun for musicians but for sure they may not look like Tom Cruise, Val Kilmer or Jennifer Connelly.
Xoom Too: Rating: 5/5 💎The Layout: The library is on the second floor, but when you walk into the building you’ll be on the third. When you walk in and look to the left you’ll see a counter for asking questions, and if you continue going straight you’ll notice a little section for games and knitting. After passing the knitting and games section you’ll see a few shelves and a lot of tables to sit at. Some tables are to the right edge of the library and they’re a bit more isolated. The tables and chairs are kind of sorted out into mini cubicles and some of them have a charger and some don’t. There’s a downstairs and they have a good amount of seats and seats with cushions. There’s also more of a book section downstairs than there is upstairs.🎲My experience: I was randomly looking up libraries near me on google maps and this place popped up, and I was looking for reviews to see if it was good to go to or not and I only saw 3 reviews and they barely had any pictures so I thought that I could do a review. While I was taking pictures and videos, I came across a knitting section where they literally had everything you needed for knitting and I immediately stopped taking pictures and sat down and started knitting lol but before that, when I first saw the knitting section, I was quite surprised and in awe, because no other libraries that I’ve been to before had a knitting section.I came at about 2pm-3pm until about 7pm mainly because it was raining, but also because it was very quiet and I had things to do. When I walked into the library there were about 11 people; most people were using their computers and 2 other people were playing in the games section. I did think that this library may not be exactly the best reading library, but a good one to study or work on your computer at.📐Likes: I thought the building’s shape was very cool; it looked very similar to a castle. I liked how there weren’t that many people and due to that it was quite peaceful. One interesting thing, and a thing that I liked too, was that the next morning I went early to the library, and the librarian there was walking up to where I was sitting, and she had a platter of bananas, apples, and oranges.
Don Lan: Một nơi được tổ chức các buổi sự kiện, hoà nhạc.
Roger Mar: It was very good.
Koala Power: It was great!!!
David Slezak: Appropriate place to listen to Russia songs
Brian Kao: this school finna make me act up ;)
Ken Burgin: Such a pleasure to attend concerts in the Verbrugghen Hall, especially with a youth orchestra. Last night with Stravinsky and Debussy...
picugs: I’ve been attending the Open Academy lessons for over a year and will continue for long!Great environment of music professionals.
Bill: Great courses for everybody with an interest in any type of music.
Helen Gardner: ⁰098⁰and upon to jjplj7j a

Best Wedding Waltzes - Surry Hills & Hurlstone Park | Sydney: what do users think?
Lisa Chen: My partner and I are the stiffest people ever, and I cannot count beats to save my own life. We honestly couldn’t have done it without the help from Frank. He was such a pleasure to work with. Would definitely recommend him!
Claire Dowler: My (now) husband and I met dancing, so there was an expectation our first dance would be something special. We initially tried another teacher but felt like they were teaching us the same basic routine they would teach beginner dancers.Frank was further from home but, based on reviews, we decided to give him a go.From the start, Frank listened to us and worked with us to make the dance exactly the way we wanted it. It was constant give and take and we always felt heard. The result was a first dance that reflected us as a couple.I'm confident saying that Frank is the perfect first dance coach and mentor for couples of all abilities, from novice to advanced.Thank you, Frank, for being part of our journey and helping us make an incredible memory!
Lewis Lee: Cathy and I would like to thank Frank from the bottom of our hearts for creating such an amazing, fun and most of all brilliant wedding dance for our special day.The word professional is something that we would not hesitate to use in Frank's instance as he was amazing in putting together and choreographing our customised wedding song that consisted of 2 songs mixed together. He was patient and flexible in teaching us the moves and provided great feedback on directing us.We would definitely recommend Frank (Best Wedding Waltzes) to anyone and everyone looking for the best wedding dance choreographer in Sydney!
Sid Lalwani: Frank was an absolute pleasure to work with, he was very accommodating to our requests and his choreography was amazing.Frank was able to tailor our first dance to our song so that we could have ‘show-stealing’ moments, he is also a great teacher, and was able to explain the moves well as we were both beginners.Highly recommend Best Wedding Waltzes and thank you greatly Frank! Our first dance was AMAZING 🤩
AmyBen: Frank from Best Wedding Waltzes was fabulous and made our first dance a dream! Our guests were blown away! Thank you Frank.
Liz Craig: Frank at Best Wedding Waltzes is a true professional and was great to work with. His easy to learn choreography gave us peace of mind on our wedding day and was lots of fun learning the steps with Frank as our guide. Thank you so much Frank! 3
Henry Thomas: The dance was such a hit and we couldn’t have done it without Frank. He did a great job with two non dancers to prepare us for the big day and now it’s something we’ll have for the rest of our lives.
Kasia Mocha: The best wedding dance teacher ever. The entire process of learning the dance was such a pleasure. We enjoyed every second of it. It allowed us to connect before the ceremony and truly enjoy ourselves. Frank is very easygoing and makes his students very comfortable during every class. Frank's choreography was truly magical, and we will treasure the memory of it forever. Our guests loved it :)! Thank you again, Frank. It was lovely to meet you and work with you. You have talent, and I am glad you shared it with us to make our day so beautiful! So, listen, guys, if you are looking for a great dance teacher and learning environment, do not hesitate to book lessons with Frank! No regrets!
Barney Barney Martin: My wife Ange and I had 8 lessons with Frank in preparation for our wedding dance. We both wanted to have fun with it and Frank made 2 very novice dancers look great on our special day . A really nice guy and we really enjoyed our dance tuition. Highly recommended
Natalie Ip: My husband and myself are a couple with two left feet and have zero dancing experience. We still wanted a dance instructor so we approached Frank to help us make this happen - and he did so with flying colours.Frank has delivered on every single level. He is professional, patient and works with you to ensure you are comfortable with the moves. When we made consistent errors, Frank altered the moves to ensure you are comfortable and confident on the big day.Frank worked with our specific song request and created moves around the 'magical photography moments' to ensure that memories are lasting. Something I didn't even consider when I was looking at wedding dance instructors but now I appreciate so much!I highly recommend Frank as a wedding dance instructor! If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!Thank you so much for all your help Frank!
Raelene Nguyen: Thank you for being so patient and making us feel comfortable and ease at our lessons. Frank made the lessons fun and enjoyable and we are definitely are no dancers by any means. Would not hesitate to recommend Frank, thank you again!
Laura: We had the best time doing these classes with Frank. He really listened to us to come up with a great dance as well as making it fun along the way. Can highly recommend Frank
Helen Chong: Thank you Frank for our memorable first dance. Throughout the wedding planning process, this was one of the activities we look forward to everytime. It’s a great date night activity and we were able to impress many guests on our wedding night with the dance. Frank is patient and provided timely feedback throughout our experience, it was fun to learn and I am glad we made this decision. To all those who are planning their wedding, I’d recommend taking this time to spend with each other and enjoy the process along the way! Thank you again Frank.
Edwin Guo: My partner and I had absolutely zero dance experience and were absolutely nervous about whether we could pull it off, but Frank quickly put us at ease. Frank has an exceptional ability to break down our song and design certain cues around it, such as dips and spins, making the process much more manageable. One thing I really appreciated about Frank was that he gave us options in the dance steps, allowing us to personalize the dance and make it feel like our own. He has a fantastic sense of humor and made every session enjoyable, making the whole experience fun and light-hearted.Frank was also extremely patient, always offering guidance and support when we needed it. He paid attention to every detail and was committed to helping us improve, making even the most daunting moves simpler for us to digest and understand.I think most importantly all our guests loved the dance that Frank composed! I have to admit I made a few errors in the dance, but no one noticed thanks to the tips that Frank gave us. My partner and I loved every bit of the process and were so proud to see it all come together in the end.Overall, I highly recommend Frank's dance lessons to anyone who's looking for a wedding waltz!!
Janaki Patel: I can’t even put into words how thankful we are to Frank for teaching us the most magical first dance! We left it till really last minute and had 5 lessons back to back, we both have two left feet but Frank was incredibly patient and made us feel at ease and super comfortable during the lessons. We really enjoyed our dance lessons and got so many compliments on the beautiful choreography that Frank taught us! It really was a fairytale first dance, thank you Frank!
Ceewing & Joseph: As complete beginners who have never dance before, Frank was beyond amazing with his patience and expertise with pulling together the choreography for our first dance. From teaching us all the basics to designing a dance perfect for us, he made us feel both comfortable and confident. We can’t thank you enough Frank for your work, you made the whole process so much fun and eased our nerves on the day!
Jenny B: Frank is very patient and professional!Finished our first dance in 8 sessions and we did great! Thanks Frank gave us unforgettable memory!
Thu Bui: Originally thinking we'd just learn our wedding dance by copying a youtube video, we soon realised it was harder than we thought, and with 3 months to go we started freaking out. Enter Frank! He managed to squeeze us in for our first lesson within days of my first inquiring, and was so friendly, patient and thoughtful during our lesson given we had no idea what we were doing. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed, and adjusted the dance to our abilities. His patience paid off as the result turned out amazing and we got so many compliments and cheers from our guests. Highly recommend for anyone else needing first dance lessons. Thanks once again Frank!
Robert Candelori: We can’t thank Frank enough for his patience and expertise in helping us choreograph and execute our bridal waltz. We started our lessons with minimal skills and now feel we have the confidence to show off our dance moves and have fun on the dance floor. Our guests were wowed by our performance and it was an unforgettable moment for us to prepare for, and share with our loved ones.
Danielle Byron: Leading up to our wedding one thing we didn’t need to stress about was our first dance. Not only did Anessa teach us the most incredible first dance but also took the time to teach us how to dance and the art of partner work. Which has in turn ignited a life long passion for us to continue. We enjoyed every session, looking forward to the next one!We can’t speak highly enough of Anessa as both a teacher and a person, her ability to create a safe and comfortable space for both you and your partner to learn and grow in is exceptional. Her patience and reliability is second to none. We are so forever grateful to Anessa for this beautiful gift she has brought into our lives, thank you Anessa!
Amelia Switalski: We had several lessons with Frank just before our wedding and it really was money well spent. A great teacher, Frank was so patient and choreographed a wonderful dance which went so perfectly on the day. If you’re thinking about getting lessons do it!

Spanish Blackboard Academy - Spanish Classes Sydney: what do users think?
Amanda Harrison: I love the Spanish Blackboard Academy. The classes are kept small which really assists with learning and having the chance to practise our Spanish in class, as well as getting to know your classmates. The location is convenient and all of the teachers and the director, Laura, are great. A special shout-out to my lovely teacher, Vivi. I really like the 2-hour class length because after a day of work it is just the right length of time to support concentration and learning. Thanks!
Jane Baker: Such lovely people and well organised. Great central classroom with good facilities. Raquel is a fantastic teacher, she makes the classes fun and is so simpatico. Small classes encourage constant speaking and interaction. Highly recommend.
Marlon ONeal: The profesoras at Spanish Blackboard Academy are truly amazing teachers. They are there for you and want to see you succeed throughout the entirety of your time there. They are patient, understanding, kind and are very fun to work with. Do not be afraid to make a mistake or feel like you'll never get passed a certain level. Have confidence and trust them to make sure your language learning journey is smooth as humanly possible. I will be certainly going back soon and I would highly recommend attending!
Davy Lewis: 10/10 would recommend for quick Spanish learning - Laura and Viviana were amazing tutors!! Made the lessons fun and enjoyable.
Shaan Perera: I was nervous starting this with a group of people I didn’t know. I need not have been. The teachers made it fun and everyone enjoyed the classes and became good friends.
Andrew Tang: Excellent teaching methods, makes learning fun and explains grammar in a way that is easily understandable. Always willing to customise classes and helps with students needs.
nicholas burden: Honestly cannot recommend this enough, hands down the best learning experience iv had in my life. I came to Laura and Spanish black board after 1-2 years of trying to learn Spanish on my own through duo lingo and other apps…. Like many I didn’t get far. However when my girlfriend finally bought my a trial with the excellent team at Spanish black I kicked myself for ever taking so long to start with an actual teacher. The Spanish black board program accelerated my Spanish incredibly quickly in a fun and easy formate. And within 3-6 months I was able to speak with confidence. And now 18 months into my journey I am able to have full conversations. Listen to music and read all in Spanish. Please give this a go, you won’t regret it.N.
Ovils O: Amazing teachers and courses. I've had classes with Teresa and she's a spectacular teacher. My Spanish has improved so much since I've started at Spanish Blackboard and I'm so grateful for their efforts. I 100% recommend this academy to anyone who wants to learn Spanish, you won't be disappointed!
Fenella Muntz: Valentina makes the lessons fun, varied and inspiring. The hour's class flew by each week. I really enjoyed my lessons and hope to resume spanish classes when I have a little more time.
Barbara Schmidt: I wanted to improve my Spanish language skills and the online class with Spanish Blackboard Academy was a perfect solution. Albeit I prefer to learn in person, this online class has was interactive and really fun. Our teacher Mari was great and we had a really nice group of girls. And my Spanish improved!
Conor Hogan: I have been a student of Spanish Blackboard academy for over two years. I started as part of a group in work and transitioned to zoom from home. I can say I would highly recommend and on top of having a lot of fun it is such a great way to learn Spanish!
Rebecca Haughton: I’ve been learning Spanish with Laura for 2 years now and have loved every minute! She has put together amazing material that is very thorough and that makes learning Spanish fun and simple. She always had a smile on her face which is infectious! I would highly recommend her and the Spanish Blackboard academy to anyone who is looking to start learning.
Cathy Russell: I've been studying Spanish with Spanish Blackboard Academy for about 18 months now and love all my sessions.I started in a face to face group session and then along came Covid and our group moved to zoom which is how I am still having my lessons and loving it. The transition was easy and I don't feel I'm missing out with the digital sessions as they are structured, organised and reliable.I've also taken part in the conversation sessions that introduce you to new students and teachers and most recently combined private sessions as well. Every session provides vocabulary, grammar, reading, speaking and listening and the topics are so interesting I would love to be debating them in English.I feel I've really progressed in this time from someone who was afraid to speak in case I made a mistake to someone who can now listen to podcasts, read news and books and most importantly speak (even if its not always perfect I am encouraged and assisted).I'd recommend Laura and her team of teachers to everyone wanting to learn Spanish.Gracias Laura Xx
bronte: Positive:QualityI studied at Spanish Blackboard Academy for 1.5 years and I really enjoyed my time there. All my teachers were fantastic. The lessons were enjoyable. I highly recommend studying Spanish here.
Tammy Marshall: I really enjoyed my introduction Spanish course, great structure, resources and our teacher Teresa made it very engaging and fun to learn.
Barbora Bačová: Very happy to be part of Spanish Blackboard. Love the classes, teachers & environment. Thanks again!
Jgor Cristini: Highly recommended! Viviana has been our teacher for Spanish Beginners so far, and she is a delight, her teaching approach has been excellent, Combining an endless enthusiasm for teaching with her academic background. Viviana brings to life the language in a fun and engaging way. I now look forward to Mondays! I must Thanks Laura, the director of the Spanish Blackboard Academy, Laura since the beginning has been wonderful making the enrolment easy and always prompt to answer at any questrion. Muchas gracias!!Hasta pronto!!
Ramin Farsad: Organised delivery, very friendly staff, practical material, and the coolest end of semester party! Totally recommend this academy! My teacher for beginners class was Paola, very caring, super fun, aware of every single student, on-time always, and great delivery!I will definitely continue with classes. :)Gracias Spanish Blackboard
Stewart Noble: I am very happy I discovered Spanish Blackboard Academy. Laura has been extremely responsive and easy to deal with. My teacher is very down to earth and a pleasure to have as a teacher. The overall experience from the staff, the flexiblity and the pricing all make for a 5 star experience
Josie Plumsted: Before joining Laura's class at Spanish Blackboard Academy, I was using language Apps to self-teach Spanish for several months with very little progress. On starting a course here I realised just how much I underestimated just how incredibly helpful a good teacher can be! Within several weeks my Spanish had improved dramatically, and I ended up staying in Laura's class for 2 years, progressing from A1.1 through to B2.3, and am about to start a C1 course in Colombia. I can now speak confidently with my partner and in-laws in Spanish and am so grateful to Laura for all her hard work and patience. She really has an incredible gift for teaching and an infectious energy that helps to bring anyone at any level out of their shell to give it a go without fear of judgement. The classes are always different, flexible, full of fun, interactive activities and are highly tailored for varying levels. Laura's method of teaching is really practical and follows a logical progression to get you speaking with confidence as quickly as possible. The school was able to accommodate the shift to online learning during the pandemic with ease and we rarely felt we were missing out on anything during our online classes. They also provided great flexibility for those who lived further from the city. The extra-curricular activities for the school are a fantastic bonus that you would never get with self-taught learning, including Spanish language picnics, group outings with games and topical conversational classes where you can practice with students outside your own level. These were a great way to meet people and to practice with our peers in a light-hearted environment,Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this as a language school for any level of Spanish. Muchas gracias Laura por todo!
Andrew Wu: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI LEARNEd spanish Rapido!!!
