Lab Tests Online: what do users think?
Chris Betro: This reputable and useful information service overseen by Drs has legitimate credibility.Well done pathology results explained for providing clear, true and correct information in a sea of nonsenseIn full disclosure we are at imedical and appreciate seeing this service. We have posted this as consider it very unfair to have a previous 3 star rating due to a reviewer trying to hurt the service for no reason.
Hao Yu (Jesse): Great database of common pathology tests, with explinations written by content experts.

Centre for Digestive Diseases: what do users think?
Jake Murphy: I've had Crohn's disease for 20 years now, seeing Dr. Borody at the CDD has unfortunately resulted in some of the worst periods that I have experienced in gut health. Nuking my gut microbiome with a variety of antibiotics while not informing or preparing me of the potentially disastrous side effects that were sure to exist in the short-medium term. Overall I found Dr. Borody dismissive of information I gave him about myself, disregarding it so he didn't have to change his treatment plan.
Fábio Loretti: I just had a gastroscopy done and the experience couldn't have been better. Everybody from the reception all the way to the doctor leading the procedure were not only friendly but also communicated everything to me really well. Sarah (the nurse) was lovely and helpful and both the sedationist (Dr Sanjay Ramrakha) and the doctor leading the procedure (Dr Justine Mill) were also great.I was sedated pretty much straight away and woke up back in my room. As soon as I could get dressed someone was there to help me and guide me all the way to being discharged. It's been about 3h since the procedure and I feel great as if it never happened.I can definitely recommend them.
David Shyegun: Centre for Digestive Diseases S U C K S !!!
sab K: I got a referral to this place not by my own choice but through my GP and god it is the worst place ever. You can hardly reach anyone through the phones, they sent you the forms and collect payment but you dont get any follow up or updates after a month about your appointment or your tests results. Is this how the private medical systems work in sydney? Its atrocious how they treat patients.
Simone Crozier: The staff are very friendly and helpful and I honestly can't thank Dr Omar Shariha enough for resolving my ongoing gut issues. I have had ongoing gut issues for more than 2 decades which no Doctor has been able to successfully treat. I've also seen naturopaths and dietitians without any success or abatement of my symptoms. Dr Omar Sharaiha has been amazing, he quickly diagnosed my condition and successfully treated my dysbiosis with 2 rounds of antibiotics. My issues have now completely resolved, thank you!
Juliet Olive: I had a colonoscopy this week and wish to pass on my appreciation of the friendly and efficient service I received from Reception staff, nursing staff and doctors.Procedures were fully explained by doctors and nurses and Reception staff were the same regarding protocols (including COVID) and expenses.I found all staff friendly, efficient and approachable.Although I only attend approximately 3 years, I find that I experience the above each time.
Dean Marjanovic: Been there 3 times within a five year period. Absolutely amazing staff. Dr Omar Sharaiha along with his team were informative, patient and very professional. Thank you 🙏
michele mclaughlin: Efficiently run, lovely staff.
Lacie: Find another place. This is an assembly line. No privacy. Can’t see the Dr before the procedure. Doctors and receptionists not wearing masks.
Nicole P: If I could give 0 stars I would. Dr Tu puts majority of patients on the same antibiotics from the reviews here and support groups im in. It caused me excruciating pain that my GP had to call .. I wasn’t listened to and changed digestive centres and finally after 14 years of suffering I have a proper diagnosis that my entire large bowel is damaged and I need surgery.
Alina G: Knowledgeable, helpful and friendly doctors and nurses. I had a great experience.
Noy Goodman: Always a pleasant experience. The staff are very professional, kind and caring.
Paul G: This was my 4th visit at the CDD Clinic and I have been always impressed and very satisfied with the service.Professor Borody is an absolute Genius! We are actually blessed to have somebody like him in our beloved Australia! And the Anaesthesiologist Dr Sanaj Ramrakha is a virtuoso in his filed, when he touches you, finding your veins and doing his job you know that you are in the best care ever! They also have fantastic memory! Remembering all those patients, they are simply amazing:)Reading through other people’s feedback I was quite surprised there were negative comments and felt very sorry they had some bad experiences, although there was some common theme and staff in those complaints so I hope those issues were already addressed by the Clinic...I guess people may perceive as a problem (and from my own experience it was a bit too, some years back) would be a direct phone access to the Clinic, but I found I was always called back promptly, my emails were also responded to quickly. The CDD Staff are very polite and super professional! Not an issue here as long as you accept that on rare occasions there may not be able to respond to your call direct. On my last visit I was also very impressed with the COVID procedures, all was handled very professionally and swiftly - from my arrival to the dispatch. I met this lovely gentleman at the Entrance gate who greeted me, was very warm, polite and extremely helpful! And he made me feel welcome while ensuring all those strict procedures were followed due to COVID, to keeping use all safe. Then at the Reception they were extremely helpful to get my virtually last minute transfer o my medical tests to pass them on to Professor Borody to read before my procedures. All very impressive and pro!Didn’t even have time to read the news on my phone when I was called in! So the timing was exceptional too.Everything in my last visit was superb.Well, except maybe for one tiny thing. In the past there used to be those tasty sandwiches server at the very end, at the recovery time (when we are seated in those airline-type chairs), but those sandwiches were gone some time back and were now replaced with some pre-packaged crackers and cheese (tasty too). They also have this amazing tea, it was so good I asked for a refill! All the nurses are wonderful and caring, really, really lovely people, your heart can definitely tell!So I loved those sandwiches from the years back, so maybe you could please bring them back?:)But those are really no-issues (should not even mention those, but doing it for your 10/10 total patient experience).Professor Borody and his Team are the very best specialists in their filed and are working so hard for us all and our health! We should respect them for it and be grateful for their amazing work!I am highly recommending Professor Thomas Borody and his world class Team and CDD Clinic at Five Dock! You are in good hands there!God bless you and your Team Professor Borody!Kind regards – Paul
Warren Burns: I don't normally leave reviews however I fell the need to on this occasion. Don't bother waiting for 6 weeks to get an appointment as they won't even call you when the day finally arrives. No call, No communication.Need to start looking after your patients!!!!!
Bérangère Graham Dupuy: I am not sure yet if the treatment I had to eradicate an intestinal parasite worked. However, I had such wonderful care from a very professional team, including the lovely nurse Encarnita Sitchon who spent 45 min with me on the phone explaining the procedure, answering my questions and following up with documentation via email and post. She is a gem. Dr Sanjay Ramrakha & Dr Jeffrey Tu were equally good, professional and great to deal with. I had a colonoscopy/panendoscopy and Antibiotic Infusion which was a difficult experience. The importance of a caring team when patients are so vulnerable is invaluable. I highly recommend the CDD and I am sorry to hear about some of the previous patients who haven't been as lucky as I have.
Monique Perera: Dr Borody and his team treated me with courtesy and respect from day 1 of my initial enquiry to my discharge yesterday. Special mention to the lovely gentleman who greeted me at the door and made me feel welcome while ensuring strict procedures are followed due to COVID - keeping everyone safe. They handled the entire Covid-safe situation with utmost professionalism. The reception staff were very diligent in following me up prior to the appointment and onsite asking me several questions repeatedly to ensure all was accurate. Both Dr Borody and the Anaesthetist remembered me from 8 years prior and made me feel so comfortable before the procedures, even cracking jokes to help me relax. These small things make a huge difference! I am shocked to read some of the recent negative reviews - and I hope the centre will sort through these issues. Professor Dr Borody is known as one of the very best specialists in the country and works hard to take utmost care of his patients - he is genuinely interested in their welfare and extremely knowledgeable. Yes it is an extremely busy centre, but for good reason - you are in the best hands at CDD. Thank you for a positive experience, I will always recommend Dr Borody and his professional team and will continue to return for my routine checks.
Allishia: My time at CDD cost more than the $1000's I had to spend on costly antibiotics to which I was left on for 14months before being able to access fmt capsule treatment which was never going to be available to me. I fell through the cracks and being so sick, they failed to properly test and treat the correct condition. I left with so many more health issues than I started with which could have simply been treated with proper testing and medication management. I regret my time here.
KR KR: Saw Dr Tu because I had tested positive for parasite issues and he prescribed antibiotics that were not effective. The appointments with him were very expensive and with all the measurements for the infection and antibiotic strength that can be calculated to be resolve the infection issue with one antibiotic script and one appointment so that only one follow up appointment is required to ensure that everything is resolved instead of a string of appointments for antibiotics and one infection. Either he's extremely incompetent or extremely unethical.
Greer Lester: I was seeing Dr Jeffrey Tu last year to work through stomach issues I’ve had for years. He recommended a very expensive antibiotics, which was willing to try because if they worked, this proved that I would need to go down the FMT path. My symptoms cleared up momentarily so he passed me on to begin the FMT process. This meant another costly appt with a different doctor. On my first appt with the new doctor, it was mentioned that I’d tested positive for a parasite months prior but it turned out that Dr Jeffrey Tu had failed to check my results. This meant I had been paying for and taking the wrong medication for months because the doctor was too lazy to check the results of tests he recommended I take.Following this incident, he prescribed a new antibiotics to clear up the parasite after which, I was told to get another test to make sure the parasite was completely eradicated. I sent that test back 2.5 months ago and am yet to hear from the doctor on my results. I’ve followed up but their reception can take up to 4 weeks to get around to responding. This has been a complete waste of my money and time ( I had approximately 3 appts with Jeffrey, all of which were $300 for about 10 mins on a phone call. Calls shared information that was confusing given I have no medical background but there was never any effort to send notes or follow ups/informational documents ) .I’m extremely disappointed to have received such poor customer service from a profession that is supposed to help people. I’m shocked that this kind of business practice is allowed to continue.Do not recommend.
Rose Prasad: Can you clone Doc Ramrakha. The very best
Georgette Elias: I've been to the centre about 4 times over the years, the staff were very friendly, and I had no problems at all up until now.Last week I went for Colonoscopy and Gastroscopy, early in the morning, When I woke up from anesthetics I was shivering. The nurse didn't bother to check my temperature, but she got me an extra blanket, then asked me to move to the chair and wait for the doctor. They sent me home within 20 minutes. After getting home my symptoms didn't go away, and I developed a dry cough.I called CDD few time (of course no answer) left messagesAfter 4:30pm I received a call from the nurse, to tell me it's a normal reaction to the anaesthetics. The next day I wasn’t getting better, I kept on taking panadol, Sunday I ended up in hospital, I spent the next 19 hrs in the emergency Hot Zone (COVID-19) because of my cough. my temperature was very high, heart rates very high, blood pressure high, also blood tests showed very high infection. Conclusion: I caught pneumonia straight after the procedure from the tube being inserted in my throat.A week later here I am still off work and not feeling better.CDD you need to care about your patients, I trusted you and you let me down. :-(

Dr Stephen Morris: what do users think?
Simone Rosa: Fantastic, so happy we went with Dr Morris and his team. The complete one stop shop, with a lactation consultant, a midwife for all questions, yoga and meditation courses, and the OB services nof Dr Morris.
Georgiana Tegan: Highly disappointed and unprofessional! The so-called "helpful" midwife sent me a voice message (thinking she sent it to my GP) and told her "Dr Morris has had a look at the patient's blood result and agrees that [patient's name] suffered a miscarriage. She can come to see him earlier but we can't reverse the miscarriage" 1) How unprofessional to leave that message (which shouldn't happen) 2)sent it to the WRONG person 3) how can they definitively judge purely on blood results. The night before I went to the ED and they confirmed that the baby is alive and well. After that voice message left by that horrid midwife, I went to RPA and they did a proper scan and confirmed that my baby is alive, well and has a beautiful and good heart rate. The emotional rollercoaster these people put me through! Imagine if I didn't go to the ED/ RPA and trusted them!!! The emotional toll! It's almost unforgiveable. You definitely have to question the services at this clinic. I wonder why this doctor hires a midwife who is so unprofessional. To make things worse, the midwife left another voice message with the most insincere apology and blamed it on my GP. Appalled by the services. So glad I found out earlier on. NEVER going there again! Keep away! They will make you think you've miscarried when you haven't!
Michelle McEachern: ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED WITH THIS PRACTICE!I feel very compelled to rave about this office:Dr. Morris: Smart, thorough, and always willing to provide rationales for any and all questions (even far fetched) I had throughout my pregnancy. I appreciated that he really supports the most natural birthing experience until there are reasons to escalate interventions. My delivery was flawless (in conjunction with the incredible midwife, Aiden, at RPA) and every moment of my experience (in the office and the delivery suite) was explained to me so I never felt lost or like I had to make uninformed decisions.Penny: SO friendly, thorough (theme with every person in this office), and relatable with explanations on all of the things that can feel scary during pregnancy. Always answered my emails almost immediately and never reminded me that she probably already told me the answer to something I would have asked 2 or 3 times.Angela: Another wonderful part of this office offering lactation consulting. Infinite knowledge on how to care for and feed babies. She even changed my life in a few minutes on a zoom call with invaluable information when I was desperately failing at breastfeeding the first few days. I highly recommend the postnatal support class. I felt incredibly supported as a person with 0 family here in Australia. Every word she says is bible!Hannah: Always willing to help me with my less than ideal insurance situation (international coverage). Always had the answers to the admin side of things that really rounded out my entire experience with this practice.5 stars and can't recommend them enough. Thank you, Dr. Morris!!
colleen ozdemir: Dr Morris is absolutely amazing delivered all 3 of my babies can’t recommend him enough
Jasmina Borovic: Forever grateful to Dr Morris & his wonderful team for making this journey as flawless as possible for me. As a first time Mum, Dr Morris has made me feel at ease and offered extensive support when necessary. I just can not express my gratitude enough! Dr Morris is in league of his own and I would highly recommend him.
Pow-Chuan Lee: I had my first child under Stephen Morris then my second child under another Doctor. (That should say it all). Years later, I am now starting to suffer some effects of the traumatic birth of my first child. I would not recommend.
Victoria Canessa: Highly recommended professional. I had a great experience with Dr Morris and thanks to him I was able to continue with my medical care overseas. I couldn’t recommend him and his team more.
Liz Herbert: Highly recommend. The lactation service provided by Dr Morris' rooms after birth is also excellent and helped me greatly.
Giedrė Bankietaitė: Excellent service and consultation.I was very careful with male gynecologist because had some doctors in the past who didn't fully understand how to be patient with female and give her some time if necessary. Dr Stephen was so diligent, fun and understanding. Came back home very happy and confident with chosen treatment.Highly recommended for gynecology
M Sullivan: Great doctor with a fab art collection. Used him twice can’t recommend him highly enough.
zhinous shokrani: I had c-section with Dr morris and his team. All professional and I have been completely satisfied. Dr morris helped me with my other problems also and I’m so happy to be in his care.
Reza Kharaghani (Rez): We had our first baby with Dr. Morris and I couldn't recommend her any more!Really excellent to get on top of things when it comes to pregnancy complications cause we feel confident that we are on a good hand.So glad that been under his care through this journey.
Kristina Harper: Will be forever grateful to the care given by Dr Morris and his team for the birth of my two children. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Always felt very cared for, supported, was able to assist during all questions and points in my pregnancy and post natal. Would recommend again and again.
Phil Barton: Our experience with Dr. Morris was great whilst our pregnancy was simple. Once it got tricky, it wasn't so great - we were delivered news of abnormal test results by his nurse (who did not understand the statistics), when he did talk to us he seemed to not want to bother - implied the baby was likely abnormal. We did our own research, realised the 'false positive' rate on the test was very high for our demographic. Then his teams follow up was terrible. We just changed doctors...and he didn't even follow up! So a great doctor for the good times, but not the tough. p.s. we now have a 100% healthy little girl...
Sandra Parisi: Dr Stephen Morris has been the saving grace I needed through each of the the emotional roller coasters I have had - from miscarriages to ectopic pregnancy and giving birth. Dr Morris has been there to guide, support and operate. He is amazingly knowledgeable and I have full trust in him to take care of me and my child in any situation that arises.Dr Morris also has an amazing team of supportive staff (Alexis being my favourite) who are there to guide and assist pre and post birth.Thank you Dr Morris for everything you have done for me and my family.
Alex Vlas: Really sad experience with Dr Morris. We have been through a large number of checkups and waited for surgery more than 6 months. Once the surgery was finally scheduled we took leave from our jobs and organised ourselves for the intervention just to have it cancelled last minute at the hospital. Even worse we have been told that we had to go to the back on the line with the waiting list for another 6 months. All while trying to get IVF treatment with the fertility rate drastically decreasing year after year.I would not recommend Dr Morris to anyone.
Alice Zhu: No complaint about Dr's skill and experiences, after surgery I recover well. But Doctor do charge for delivery fee, if your Private health fund doesn't cover pregnancy.
Erin P: Best OB in Sydney! Delivered my 3 children, I felt completely in safe hands and Dr Morris is completely competent under pressure. The whole team in his office are magnificent. Can’t recommend him more.
felicity stewart: Wonderful doctor who made me feel at ease as soon as he arrived at my labour. Delivered our baby quickly, carefully and lovingly under pressure. Cannot recommend him highly enough.
Amelia Newswan: Dr Morris is the most incredible obstetrician and has a huge following. Such a lovely, genuine and caring man as well- a Dr you can really trust.
Katie Marsden: The most brilliant OB around. Have nothing but praise for Dr. Morris and his fantastic staff.
