HSBC Bank Australia: what do users think?
Matt Wilson: Went in for a money transfer with another person for a car and the staff were very helpful and friendly. process was very quick and easy as well.
Valle de G: Horrible customer service, very slow, very inefficient. 1 hour + and still not resolved. Next steps for me is close my accounts and move to bank that actually provides banking services.
Nandan: Helpful staff , they make you feel welcome. Special mention, relationship manager Abhilasha, she is kind, knowledgeable and very professional. Never had any bad experience over 3 years of HSBC relationship.
Grace F: Poor service, poor knowledge of their own HSBC products. Went to this brand recently and wouldn't definitely go back. Ask a question about HSBC bank product to a female consultant, was told to go test out the product myself. Not sure if they get paid to sit around and do/learn/understand nothing about their products? No doubt why it's pretty dead quiet inside.
mehran A: Today I walked in to HSBC north Sydney and asked the teller can I deposit Euros in my HSBC Euro account? She said no we don’t accept cash! How I am supposed to deposit my Euro in hand in my Euro account???You are running a bank! Hello… a bank, not a grocery shop. Your only job is to handle money. It was a big mistake to open an account with HSBC in the first place.
Ludmila Sinica: Our family has been loyal customers for years. Leaving because HSBC keeps supporting Russian invasion to Ukraine. I wish bank stopped operations in Russia and refused receiving bloody money.
Y H: Calling last 3 days for 40mins waiting time each time and they still cannot unblock my account.
walter muskovic: Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. If you visit this branch just ask for Elina! She was very professional and kind, followed up with us and made everything easy - definitely recommend.
Suri CM: Was skeptical after reading the reviews but I'm guessing they are old.I visited in person today to make a change to my account, and I was treated extremely well by one Ms. Elina Naigulevu who was very professional, very patient with me and carefully helped me out with what I needed.Kudos to Elina and the others at HSBC North Sydney for their professionalism and friendliness.
Nadika Lewis: I came in with my friend, very friendly staff and professional service provided.
Troy Lawrence: Alana was great!!!
Ron C: Worst customer experience ever. I get better customer service from McDonalds.
Blake Wood: Criminals!! Not the staff but the executives. Shame!
J L: Always good service here
guo yan: Very poor for Chatswood
Pablo Chacon: poor, very poor, will be changing the bank this week after 7years with hsbc. refused to pay out cash even after giving 5 days notice, lost my deal on the car. manager rude and not helpful.
David McConnachie: The worst ever service today from the "Premier" reception! i asked for proof of address for the parking permit and was told wait 48 hrs. Very poor service and the lady refused to let me speak to her manager. She called her and in front of me spoke in Chinese. I was very shocked by this poor level of service at this branch.
I-van Leong: Handy to get from train station.
Zalapeno Jackson: Staff have zero idea.

HSBC Bank Australia: what do users think?
Rui A: The staff are lovely.. Dear and Kevin went out of their way to help. Fast and efficient service. Thank you
John Jamieson: I'm currently overseas. And the bank has frozen my account. For no reason. I cannot contact the branch in Sydney. All I keep getting is overseas people. Angry and anoid
Alexander Prokopovich: The worst banking experience ever
Vineet: Amazing service by Daniel Dinh & a great experience with Monica Su - quick, efficient and polite.Keep up the good work
Lincoln Tan: Great service from Daniel Dinh. Quick and courteous.
Jenny Penny: Do NOT bank with HSBC. Our account was defrauded of $50,000 due to HSBC’s unsafe systems which allowed transactions to go through unauthorised. They have refused to reimburse us, made us wait 4 months to tell us they will not reimburse us and on top of it all provide horrible to no phone access, ignore emails for such a distressing issue and absolutely do not care about you as a customer or human. Your funds are not safe with them, take them to another bank IMMEDIATELY to avoid such a distressing experience with them. We have to go through AFCA as well now because they are an unsafe bank to hold your life savings and refuse to deal with you with any human conscience.
Jia Fu: I would rate to 0 star if I can. Do not bank with them! This is the only bank would gave wrong information and prevent premium clients from activating their accounts. Rude staff to respond complaint and no email address to raise complaint. Have to go to AFCA to talk to HSBC.
Tom Ding: 1 star for no reason. Very very rude employees.
HANNY: The environment is good, but the employee was very unfriendly and unreasonable at this branch. Hope that hsbc employee could learn to treat people equally. It was a very bad experience.
Chun Yang Ji: Great bank! The staff at the Barangaroo branch are extremely helpful and knowledgable of their products.I have recently started banking with them and found their responsiveness and assistance a pleasure to deal with.
Lost for Words: Easily the best bank in Australia. Makes even more sense if you bank, like, anywhere else in the world, where none of the Australian major banks dare to even try and compete.

Deutsche bank: what do users think?
Matthew Aeschbacher: Not many options for food
SnakeOfBacon: Unfortunately, there's no suitable place on the roof to kick a footie between the spires.
Eric P: Nice building . But receptionist on level 16 was so truculent and rude in her demeanour. I was friendly with my delivery of a package but what a sad attitude she had .
Michelle Currey: Great spot for a drink at Mordeo. Our go to venue after work. Food and service is excellent.
James Challenor: Extraterrestrial life Two be excuted
Bruce Judith John: This restaurant is a gem. Superb staff. Lovely food and excellent, relaxing centre. Your are "inside" while you are actually outside - great for covid restrictions. Lovely and spacious.
Suresh Kerai: Check out Mordeo downstairs :)
Mickel Natarajan: nice bank with good staff and parking is also good.
Shahrukh Siddiqui: Easy to park
Kenny “Mysterion” McCormick: Good
Morgan Pelissier: The building is amazing!
Michel Lam: The building is a piece of artwork. Modern architecture added to the building. Full of glasses and sunlight. The glass lifts are super fast and you can feel the gravity if you are visiting higher floors. Ground floor has cafes and eateries.
Jackson Reynolds: Nice building
Alan Luong: The building itself is quite nice with a decent restaurant, Cafe and salad bar downstairs. Big glass elevators zipping up and down visibly on the side along with a distinct silhouette in the city skyline.
Hatim Hussain: Great location and views. Stones throw away from Martin place station.
Mark Simon: Feeling warm all over after the Great Barrier Reef decision!

Reserve Bank of Australia: what do users think?
Triangles Tri: Dining experience was ok.Service was lacklustre and there was not much explanation about the courses we were served. We had to really dig in to find out what’s going on….Menu was ambiguous but most of the food tasted ok, tho with each course prices increased and portion decreased.Don’t recommend.
Glenn (nnelg): Lowe should resign.
Adham Sabry: @Lowe, $25000 dinner? Why? You are telling people to stop spending and then you go $25000? Is this a joke? If u have 140 guests same as last month. That's $178.5 per person! What's wrong with you?
Peter Ferguson: GOOD ON YOU!
Mind Body: I just hope someone stops this RBA/Gov cyber army garbage getting on comments to support after every rate rise.
Sam: Shocking, hurting average Australians that are building this country up and this UNAUSTRALIAN people in the RBA are bringing us down and allowing banks to profit on our backs.
Lachlan Hipkin: As I said guys the RBA did in fact steal my baby.
sensaznal: Need to defeat the inflation beast, RBA need to keep it up and don't let media pressure them. The stupid government is the problem creating inflation by bring mass migrants which increases demand on everything and is one of the major drivers of inflation.
Allen Shayanmanesh: A place where people have no freaking clue what they are doing and have no idea how that affects everyones life.Wish people work in Reserve Bank taste the outcome of their doing very soon...
Ashraf Yaser: Keep raising interest until inflation ends
Chuah HOCK LAI: Food prices, meals, travelling costs, gas and electricity rates, rentals, fuel and groceries prices increase with increase in interest rates. Hopefully your 3% increase in interest in your savings accounts can cover everything.
david ward: Interest payments are flooding in to my bank account.. its like printing money. And i am spending, spending, spending.. good times ahead!!!!!
Ron Loftus: Extremely disappointed that the image of our King will not be on the $5 note. I sincerely hope that the next issue will have the image of King Charles on it.
Pete Martin: If you think they've managed the economy irresponsibly so far - Just wait until they introduce CBDC and start putting expiry dates on your money to encourage spending, or deleting your dollars for wrong speak.
Cam Luong: Might aswell flip a coin, on the first Tuesday of every month. Save tax payers money, and sack them all, and start playing two-up instead.
Mike: Fraudster bank. Promised no rate hikes for 3 years so people would get loans. Then jacking up the rates like there is no tomorrow.
Asd Asdf: thanks mr lowey, i am collecting a motza in my savings account, all that hard work saving and living within my means in the last five years and not taking out a 1.5million dollar mortgage because everyone else was the best decision ever. RAISE THE RATE!!!! All those people whinging about you increasing the rates, dont listen to them, shake it off, haters going to hate. their fault for borrowing 6x income and being financially illiterate. Please raise rate 5%+!!!!!!!!!
Antony joseph Crossman: The worst institution which has plunged thousands of Aussies into debt shamelessly with incorrect forecasts
K Z: Liars about to cash rate policy.
Hao Yan: Just ignore whatever these guys said. Mushroom can do much better prediction then them.
Jimmi: You should be ashamed!

HSBC Bank Australia: what do users think?
Amy Bentley: Very helpful, positive staff - polite and attentive even during very busy times!
eko Deni: The most unhelpful and headache inducing people I have EVER dealt with!
Gabi Fitzgerald: the reviews of this place were awful and quite frankly just racist it seems. I was in and out of this branch within 10 minutes setting up a global account and Olivia was the absolute sweetest, explaining everything to me thoroughly and making sure I understood everything while also being friendly! I have never written a google review before but I wanted to give props for the amazing service I got :D
atubery: terrible service and you cannot talk to anyone in Australia
christian watts: Simply atrocious, no idea even how to do an international transfer - do not get an account or mortgage with HSBC and don’t be fooled by the Premier account - you won’t speak to anyone in years but they’ll charge you for the privilege . Mac Bank are so much better.
Daniel Holm: Worst bank I have ever been involved with. In person and on the phone. You need to be of Asian appearance to be treated better....sadly.
Patricia Franken: Very arrogant and rude lady serving me today.
Henry McIntosh: Not open when they say they will be. Total waste of my time and extremely frustrating.
Lexi: Very good experience here. great customer service. thanks
Zoe Anderson: Very helpful and friendly staff.
Jade L: I do not understand why there are so many negative reviews. My experience at Bondi Junction HSBC have been all positive; Staffs are helpful and polite, and I never have to wait long for services.
Adam Harris: Despite the reviews for this branch, my experience was very different and positive. I had a complex issue that CBA and NAB both would not help me with. The person who helped me at the counter (Megann) was wonderful. I'm not sure if it was her supervisor, or the branch manager, but they also got involved and was also very helpful. A successful outcome was reached in the end. I've had poor experiences at other HSBC branches in Sydney so perhaps it depends on who you get on the day, but at Bondi Junction it was very good.
NA YU: Very ridiculous ,worse than other bank obviously. They would give you a had time.
Aman Hussain: The bank is temporarily closed due to maintenance work going on. Avoid coming to bank.
Dan Dan: I actually tried to open an account here a few years back. Saw that they were slashing jobs and Googled the local branch upNot surprised by the reviews as 'rude' was exactly how I would describe the staff. It blew my mind because they were acting like some exclusive club and it would be a privilege of mine to make them moneyI hope the guy who tried to sign me up and the manager that backed up his attitude will be the first to go
Ben Madson: Extremely rude staff that obviously aren’t quite up to the values of a westernised country. Not quite sure how they are allowed in a country, let alone work, when they don’t understand manners and values.Your Asian staff need either retraining or firing. Manners go along way. Until then I’ll be giving HSBC a miss
Cyrille Badaire: Absolutly useless!!!!
J Riley: Awful experience. Shocking to think this sort of attitude is on display immediately after the Royal Commission. Extremely rude when I asked about the account opening process. It’s almost as if they didn’t want any business. My experience with the call centre staff was very different and positive.
Emilia P: Terrible service, their attitude was very much ‘go elsewhere’ because they couldn’t be bothered to fill out any paperwork
Liz Grimwood-Taylor: Very slow service.
Alvaro Navarro: Worst service ever! Really makes the HSBC brand look really bad.

Westpac Private Bank Sydney: what do users think?
JAMIE PATTINSON: I left a message on their answering machine to borrow $3m two weeks ago and nobody called me back. Really disappointing from a private bank.
Hola Merci: I’m with CBA Since I got into banking , Westpac is amazing organisation but their banking service in branches is pathetic .. they can never compete with CBA .. they don’t value customers as they should and Bankers don’t care much and gave lame excuses. To wait bit more and more .. unfortunately I work for Westpac and it’s an amazing bank when We work in corporate sector but it’s not reflected in branches ...
Keith Forrest: Poor
Semi K: Poor service. I was on the queue and I could see already few customers walked away. I was told to be wait for 5-10mins and wait and wait 15mins - no one tried to help. The worst bank branch ever
Chan Lyu: The poorest service I had ever! When depositing notes, card stuck in the ATM on Saturday in the Westpac Place Branch on Kent Street .Gave the branch a few calls on Monday, nobody picked up.Called them again on Tuesday, a guy picked up the call and still talked and laughed loudly with his colleagues, totally ignored me.After a few seconds, he speaked "Hello", no greeting at all.Issue still not resolved!!
PHOENIX DESIGNS: Your pathetic
Kam Austine: poor service.
Amit Singh: The 6 star hospitality and best work environments. A great view by the the harbour side.
Scott Redman: Excellent building

salah Asade: شي رائع
Robert Porte: Just walking thru..
Juliano Moschetti: Just walked past
Charlie Markl: Friendly
Antoine M: A lively and very cosmopolitan site running between Castlereagh Street and Pitt Street. Few landmarks of note here is the Legion House which is the former YWCA hostel building and ANZ Tower. A beautiful little slice of urbanization inside the CBD with bars, café and dining. When you enter this oasis from either Castlereagh or Pitt Street you're immediately struck by the calmness of the place with well dressed patrons from around the area sipping coffee or cocktails or both. A welcoming ambience.
