Cheyne Beevors: Drop off if my car in Perth was great , no dramas there , apart from telling me it would have an ETA in Brisbane, 3-4 days later than originally anticipated!!Communication with regards to where my car was located was a little light on!!Company could have told me that it was going to be nearly 2 weeks after I dropped off my car , that it would then leave for Brisbane!!Probably could have driven it faster across the country!Pickup day was a shambles in BrisbaneOffice looked like a bomb had hit it!Keys everywhere, staff members lacking!Meet by 2 truck drivers 1st both told me the lady too talk too was over there somewhere, waited 20 mins plus to meet the person I needed to see , for her to then spend another 20mins scrambling to located my car keys!!All and all a mixed experience, but thankful my car arrived undamaged , unlike some others have experienced, just a bit dusty and dirty , but you get that , when it’s traveled across the nation from Perth to Brisbane!!

Lee: Car arrived about two weeks late.When we picked it up it was covered in old tape (used to tape the boot down apparently). The tape damaged, chipped and scratched the paintwork and took a long time to remove.

Brooke Barnes: I was tail gated by a PrixCar transport truck on my way to work in Bathurst this morning, and the driver used intimidation tactics on me.I was driving the 70km/hr speed limit, and also to the conditions of the traffic.At this time in the morning it is busy with everyone trying to get to work.It is not unusual for traffic to come to an abrupt stop.This truck was travelling about a metre behind my vehicle and was flashing his lights at me, as to indicate for me to move out of his way, or speed up.If I had of needed to hit my breaks he would of had no time to stop.When safe to do so I changed lines, and the truck then changed lines behind me, and continued to travel at a dangerous distance behind me.Thankfully, he turned and I continued straight.
John Marcel: if you do use make sure you get a very comprehensive condition report before they touch it. they'll damage your car then say you signed the paper to take the keys and not repair it even if you noticed the damage only 1hour later when the mechanic put it on the hoist.
Tin: Barbara was very patient in dealing with me, however when the car condition report came in there was multiple “major damage” entered for a car that looks brand new. So don’t be too shocked. Also I did pay a premium for what I needed due to time limits so plan ahead

d d: Worst experience, store my can in their warehouse for two weeks and tell me it can't be delivered due to the ground clearance. It's totally fine if they can't deliver the car because its too low and they don't want to damage it but why can't they tell me in the first day when they did the condition report. This is not the major issue, the issue is they scratched the bumper of my car and the side skirt is coming off and that's what I can see visually not sure if there is more damage to the chassis. I have sent my case to their claim team with all the evidence and their condition report that states these damage does not exist when I dropped off my car. The claim team never replied, I don't want any of you get involved in things like this, use other transport company so you don' ended up in the situation like me.

Kylie Q: The vehicle was damaged during transit and did not wait for us to sign off a receiver report. Prixcar later on denied the damage was caused by them because we did not report the damage immediately. However, the damage was not obvious to spot on and only be able to identify when we drive. You do not consider the fact that the delivery person did not allow us to inspect, report and sign off, simply make a decision based on the reporting date, even though we had camera and videos to show the damage existed at the point of delivery. Just be careful when your delivery is not signed off but being left and run away, there is a reason for them doing so.

Online I read terrible reviews depicting the experience of customers who had their car lost and was unable to track it from third party services. I didn’t want to lose my car.I reached out to Campbelltown Car Carriers as they are a local business to enquire about their services. The owner of the company, Lyn, answered the phone and I immediately knew I was in good hands. She had profound knowledge of the schedule of all of her trucks and gave me an exact turn around time for when I would receive my car. She made me feel like my car would be safe. It is a family run business, which meant that she was also transparent about cost and administrative paperwork.I dropped off my car to the Sydney depot and was again greeted by Lyn who did a quick check over of the car and reiterated the cost and turnaround time. One again great communication. When I arrived in Melbourne it was an easy trip to collect my car. Everyone I dealt with was professional and polite. Kevin Pamplona: Was really worried on moving my EV from Syd - Perth as almost all movers have mixed reviews.Thankfully my experience with CEVA was seamless! Dropped my car in the Minto drop of on 2/5 , took like 15 mins to get sorted, then car arrived 2 weeks earlier than the month previously forecasted in Perth and ready to be collected 15/5 - (Car actually arrived 13/5 but was going to a weekend hence was able to collect monday) Just used their online tracking system which is vary accurate.Car arrived same condition I dropped it off (besides the bug splatters, which is norma if car is trasported via train.)Very happy client and will use their services again :)
Jaime Koukoutas: It has cheap prices but sometimes stuff you around with pickups for weeks and weeks.Their call centre is overseas and very hard to make a booking, because they don't understand what you're saying.Otherwise there service is ok for a to b car transport.They are very picky you cannot have a single item in the car, even a small parcel they will refuse pickup and charge you a fee.Make sure your car fits their guidelines or they won't hesitate to refuse pickup and charge you anyway2 stars because of the sometimes reasonable prices, -1 star for the customer service, especially when referring to an issue with pickup. Even when it was mentioned at the time of booking, we still had to pay a fee for the car not being picked up. At no fault of our own. Not right at all

It seems that have bitten off more then they can chew for workload, with no consideration for the customers (only there profit).These poor reviews will keep coming unless the system changes of which no one seems to want to help with. It’s not ok to keep saying “we have a delivery shortage and will let you know when we get a driver available”Suggestion- offer pickup only until you get back on track! And adjust your prices accordingly.

Hence you'll see more bad reviews for these businesses than positive ones.So I'm posting a review for people like me who also spent a lot of time reading over the many negative experiences across the forums, and review sites regarding CEVA which wasn't very reassuring for me as I was intending to transport a very rare and precious restoration build from Sydney to Melbourne.For me it was a risk assessment and considering a company that scales as big as CEVA that regularly moves a large volume of vehicles, I consider the many negative reviews as isolated experiences over a long time frame as you don't know if those jobs were outsourced or people had unrealistic expectations with delivery schedules based on their selected service.I went with the premium enclosed service from Sydney depot to Melbourne depot as I wanted to limit the factors that could damage the car and rest assured the car arrived in timely fashion, dropped off Friday 2pm afternoon and arrived Sunday night. I had to call their hotline to arrange an appointment to pick up the car from the depot so don't expect them to call you.Overall my experience with the service was positive.- The car arrived in good condition 9/10, only a small questionable scrape under the front lip however I blame myself for not taking a photo of the entire section prior to the damage found.- The car was not driven, odometer showed 1km travelled and was definitely stored under shelter at both depots.The only negative for me was their call centre which is outsourced to the Philippines and some agents are definitely capable however I had one agent that simply just could not do their job. Their English was frustratingly poor with communication and their speech rhythm was impossible to deal with. As I'm reading out my details and numbers to make the booking, the agent is constantly interrupting with poorly timed pauses and 'mhmming' and I'm repeating myself endlessly. The entire phone call took almost 30 minutes just to make the booking.The key takeaways are be realistic with what service you book for and take clear full photos under the entire front section if your car is low. Their call centre is ok but hang up and try again if you get a lady constantly mhmming you.
Edward Hwang: I have purchased cars from dealers far from Sydney so the dealers used this CEVA carrier.In both cases, the service was smooth and the cars arrived safely on time. Moreover the organiser Mohamed in Sydney Depot was greatly helpful and tried to helped my needs as much as he can. I would recommend to any dealer to send their vehicle within Australia.
Karl Luck: I bought a brand new 300 series Landcruiser from Sydney. Black exterior and cream interior. I organised transportation via road through CEVA. It left Sydney in pristine condition as a brand new unmarked vehicle and arrived at my home with black greasy hand prints on the ceiling, carpets, centre console, and front and back seats. There were deep scratches on the rear of the vehicle and the rear windscreen wiper broken!I am extremely disappointed with the service as we have sent numerous emails with no response. This is absolutely unacceptable and it surprises me that the drivers need to play with the sunroof and back seats. They have no respect for property.
Lydia Cohen: They are unable to give an estimate of delivery essentially. I have been waiting 16 days, the dealership booked with CEVA, the car is still in the origin state. After speaking with customer services they stated the car ‘should’ arrive on the 22nd - a week from now. I’ve now read very disturbing reviews. My regret is allowing the dealer ship to book with CEVA. The time spent waiting and the unclear estimations are an issue.BOOKING ID: 1290632520.02.23:I was told the delivery would be 22.02.23. This is impossible as it does not arrive at the next depot until 24.02.23. After this it still has to travel from Darwin to ASP 1496.7 KM. I am still to be given an ETA that is correct and feasible.

Trent Bailey: Absolutely disgraceful. Called to confirm delivery Wednesday, never arrived. Called to confirm Friday, never arrived. Number provided to call back to see what's happening cancelled the call or rang out. No one answers any of the cantact numbers available. Now told will be next Wednesday. 1 star is being far too generous but unfortunately it's the lowest google will allow.

greg plymouth: Two job, a vehicle swap over, was scheduled with this company 7 weeks in advance, with specific swap over date. Swap over taking place in the costal location 330 kilometers from my main residence. After confirmation two days prior to the delivery by the transporting company I have committed to 660 kilometers of travel to complete the swap over. Only to receive the phone call on the morning of the delivery informing me that the driver called in sick and the swap over will not take place. No solutions offered, no apologies expressed in light of my 660 kilometer travel commitment and loss of paid work time that was taken off, no alternatives offered to complete the job. This is the most appalling business practice I have come across of late.Avoid dealing with this business at all costs, I would not consider dealing with this company under no circumstances. This business has no consideration of the customer at all. No consideration or sympathy to a tremendous expense and effort by the customer, no customer service focus, no respect, professionalism, or problem solving focus.I would have rated the business minus 5 stars if such was the possibility.
Mark Pisani: After waiting nearly a month for my car I finally got the call from ceva that my car would arrive 10:15-11:00 the following day .This did not happen waiting, waiting, waiting.I called to see what was happening then I was told he would be there at 2 oclock once again this did not happen after several more phone calls he finally arrived at 4:45 pm.Very disappointing.I also asked could they give the truck driver a call to see how far away he was so I could plan my day a little better as I already waited hours they said that there not allowed to do that and he would call me 15 minutes half hour before he gets there.Disgusting.

Mia Benino: I couldn't recommend this service enough. I got my car delivered from Perth to Sydney in August 2022. I paid for the personalised pick up and drop off location service and it was exceptional. The customer service was amazing, Maychelle looked after me and she was amazing. Once I saw my car was at the depot, I enquired about delivery and they were kind enough to organise delivery to my apartment the following week. Outstanding service from the gentleman that dropped off my car. Everything was seamless, easy and professional. I will 100% use them again if needed.
Gautam Jain: I bought a high end luxury car in Perth. I am based in Sydney. I made a decision to transport the car to Sydney usung Ceva transport. I did not realise the logistics involved. The car was taken on a truck from the dealership in Perth and then on a train to Melbourne and then another truck to Sydney. I thought the car had to be damaged by the time it reached Sydney. It took about 4 weeks for the car to arrive in Sydney. The car was in immaculate condition. Big thank you to Shari and the team at Ceva transport for their work in exceeding my expectations.

Andrew Rumpel: 1.5 hours late, disorganised, didn't know where the pick up was, no communication. Use Prixcar or CEVA instead.
Aaron Kennedy: Had a similar experience to the guy with the XR6 unfortunately. Front bumper as you can see in the images has clearly been dragged along asphalt(both sides), water jet cover missing, and bonnet raised. Mechanic had already told me he saw the towie drag it along the ground while unloading. Called and spoke to Frank who basically told me too bad and sent me a bogus report that says “ALL PANELS WHEELS DAMEGED.” Which is completely false as the car is in great condition. If you have a nice car steer well away from this mob, I am going to have to pay to fix mine and these guys really don’t care.

Brendan Hughes: Recently imported a vehicle from the UK using Dolphin Shipping. Johann and the team were great to deal with, good communication and professionalism. Reasonably priced compared to other quotes and were able to secure a RoRo booking when others quoted longer lead times. They were always available to answer queries, and being my first time there were many. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.
Alex Henebery: I imported four cars from Japan over the last two months and unfortunately used DSAU as Nick has excellent feedback (works for the NZ team ive since found out). There was a delay of some sort on each vehicle with an excuse for each one. Courtney (who was rude from the get go and has lied throughout the entire process only to handball it off once found out) made up excuses which turned out to be lies and then straight up ignored any form of contact from myself when questioned. When it was transferred from DSAU to the trucking service I waited another 2 weeks with more lies and excuses made only to find out it sat at the trucking holding yard for over a week whilst more cars were found to deliver to my area. DSAU made no effort to contact the trucking company in this time when I asked. Once I got their number they were happy to deliver it next day. One car being delivered by DSAU has sat with them for three weeks now. They Lied bout it needing to be recleaned when it appears some paperwork was missed so its back to the start of the queue. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you are looking to import a vehicle from Japan.
