SGCH: what do users think?
Mrs Coral: They have absolutely zero compassion. I was unable to make it to an inspection due to serious mechanical problems and without any communication they suspended my application I was provided 12 hours notice and I explained I have no finances but Aneta simply didn't care one little bit.
Michelle Riley: Thank you ST George Housing I love my place and i really appreciate it so much.😇 Also Debbie Nelson is the most professional, kind, and has empathy for people I only deal with her I can't say enough about her she amazing. SO is Joe Devine and Cameron Kevin ate so helpful, kind, professional and treat you as a equalBUTI want to say MICHELLE LAWRENCE is abusive unprofessional and hashould never talk down to anyone, no ones better than anyone. You judged me without even meeting me and make the absolute wrong judgement. So please next time treat me with respect. I'd actually never have to deal with you again , after the last time u upset me so much my blood pressure so high my doctor wanted me to go to the hospital I bloold pressure was so high last caused a 3 day migraine I could of had a stroke or heart attack because of.
Sam tron: This organisation is corrupt, negligent and incompetent. We were promised nothing would change compared to Govt Management, Department Of Housing. We were lied to. We have had repeated rent increase. We have had 25 - 40% of our income deducted for rent (DOH had a standard of 25% across the board until a certain income threshold, whereby fair market rent would be charged)Further they are simply neglectful.I spent a week and a half without a shower, due to refusal to make repairs. When I expressed my REPEATED frustration, they applied for a hearing to remove me from the property, which was disallowed. They then proceeded to lie and attempt to antagonise me, by charging me $80 per week, above the amount agreed upon....with witnesses.I am nto the only tenant suffering at my property due to their neglect.I'd really appreciate any other tenants suffering to contact me.I am preparing a legal brief, to take to lawyers, media and Department of Housing to ask SCGH to be defunded.Their staff turn over at a massively rapid rate. There is a reason for this. They have overcharged me rent on 2 occasions to the tune of approx $2000. Which they refunded after lengthy and arduous protest.I will not speak to a staff member at SGCH without an advocate present.I have found they lie, cheat and neglect, with the best of them. Please choose ANY other provider of housing than this organisation. Just run. They are disgusting. It isn't their individual staff. I am certain they ACTUALLY believe they are helping....but they just lack the policy, procedures, training and capacity, to carry out their support. They house mostly less abled people, and their negligence, corruption and deliberate antagonism is not what I expected in Australia. Possibly America....but not Australia.I am so sad. I genuinely feel blessed to live in this country. I have food. I have shelter. In many other countries around the world, with my disabilities, I'd be living on the street. However in my entitlement, I don't believe we deserve to be abused by a Government funded, non-for-profit.I'm preparing a petition to ask that theybe defunded by the NSW government. Please contact me at captainmanic{at}hotmail{dot}com, to demand your basic human rights be met. Please have evidence of SGCH negligent and corrupt behaviour. We Will Not Be Abused.#HumanRights
Habibe Akcay: The worse company ever !! My mums been with them for very long time but soon will be leaving them. They don't answer yours calla when you need them, don't do any job repairs, been asking for a rent book for ever 8 months and they keep saying there sending it. They will call us every once in awhile asking for a payment which my mum had already payed for. They don't do there job properly at all. They never keep there promises and do a disgusting job.
朱莉: 工作人员态度真好👍
Aiden Tyers: Literally don’t bother any promises they make they won’t keep. Genuinely pointless and a waste of government subsidies!
o_o o_o: Always appreciate SGCH and its staff if good communication with good respond to solve any problem from past to now.SGCH Head office staff should solve any of your tenant's problem. We live in residential buildings area. That group of SGCH tenants in Riverwood especially that person has the radio equipment is still so selfish, every morning always before 8am they come to play their favourite music to do exercises near the residential buildings, play their favourite music is too loud to affect the neighbours' rest. If some residents are emergency workers such as fire fighters live in the residential buildings, sometimes have night shift work, and need have good rest in the day time. Talked to that person who should turn the radio volume from high to low. If the noise is still too loud to affect neighbours, please ask them to stop and don't disturb neighbours. Otherwise, fines apply to that person who has the radio equipment but not turn the volume lower or SGCH provides the locked gates garden that just between two residential buildings which SGCH tenants live there and that person's group of people can play their favourite music with lower volume always and do exercises there. Please require that group of SGCH tenants especially that person who has the radio equipment in Riverwood don't be selfish to move to large public park to play music to do exercises.
Michael Marsh: Always felt well looked after at SGCH. They provide a fantastic service. Highly recommend.
Samantha Fairweather: Have been in 2 different places through such. The first place was pretty bad due to a lot of people on drugs and lots of visits from the police. My new place, which I've been in for 1 yr, is a great place to live in. Lovely neighbours, quiet, and no getting kept up at night by people screaming and fighting all the time.
Spin Master: They have helped me so much. They help me with housing and moral support. They are human and do as best as a client allows.Thank you,David
Jo Stuart: Is SGCH going to provide rental reduction in this current crisis the whole world is experiencing?I hope you start thinking of the hundreds of thousands of people who have lost their jobs, at the same time prices of groceries have increased. Least housing organisations can do in this time of need is to assist in reducing rent for everybody
Rachael Clarke: Best cummunity servers
Ross Jordan: 28 days to fix a microwave
Steve Slav: A disgusting and nasty company to lease a property to. I leased my apartment through a real estate to these guys and the tenant ruined my kitchen bench, smoked cigarettes and stained the place. The company refused to pay for damages and accept any responsibility and have the nerve to blame workmanship and wear and tear. They also never gave the bond back. NEVER lease through this company or have any of their tenants rent your home. They will ruin it. This has cost me dearly.
Wendy Wood: Thanks for your help
Sandra Del Buono: Been on the ph waiting for 40 mins. Disgusting
John Bowles: Mediocre website eg no information on governance
poorni ash: They are only hire unskilled workers
Dee Risso: Been renting with this company for about 3 years and a half. And I will never recommend them to no one. They will badger you when you are at you’re lowest point in life. No compassion and no help by this company even if you are an excellent tenant you will be treated like Shit. You will be left homeless the people that work here won’t help you at all. Most tenants they except to live in these affordable properties are a disgrace, filthy and will damage your property. Think twice before getting your self in to a mess with this company. Unfortunately I had to learn the hard way. They will also take you to the tribunal and they won’t give u the opportunity to make any arrangements what so ever. Extremely poor service and a disgrace. Not to mention they will also leave you stranded with no assistance what so ever.
Joanne Webb: I loved being a Tenant with this Organisation!
Deitrick John Palu: Worst orgnaztion ever

Bridge Housing Limited: what do users think?
Shelter Manager: I wanted to take the time to give a review on Bridge Housing. As the Manager of the Northern Beaches Women's Shelter, we work in partnership with Bridge to house women. I recently sent them an email stating it should Brilliant Bridge Housing, as they have been such a great support in assisting so many of our women.I cannot thank the team at Bridge enough. Keep up the super work we are so thankful for all you do for our service and our women. Great Community Housing organisations like Bridge Housing change people's lives for the better.Narelle HandNBWS shelter manager
Luke Rodenburg: It is a pleasure to work alongside a team like Bridge Housing. Working with clients/teams that are purpose driven to provide better outcomes in the lives of tenants across Sydney is something that we really believe in. It is fantastic to see the outcomes of their hard work and initiatives to people that really need it.
GUI YING: I regret saying anything about this company..Honestly, if you want a prosperous life. An environment where you don't question life everyday if it's worth it. Living besides people that know self growth and maintenance. Never having 10 apprentices assess a simple job. Good communication between management & clients. Not have your vehicle pelted with rock/branches by those that pretentious-ly cut the lawns on a wet day weekends.Do Not Go Near This Sub-Lease Co. Or it's streets..Most, but this Co tops it. Housing is like an abyss of limbo, there's no getting out. It drains you of worth & it's not help, more like rot & "give us your Gov entitlements".. Maybe it's why the workers of Co normalize drug use & bad behaviour..I truly feel bad for the kids and elderly. If Gen Human Conv saw this, in a beautiful country..🤔.....?Bridge, please. Work with people that don't want Government dependency. Work with those that care for what's being rented. Stop changing management every few months, cos the next person will play catch-up and just fail. You need a group, not just one person to assess all the buildings needs & upkeep..Lets work together. Drugs & alcohol is not the answer; the livelihood of the elderly & younglings/parents future is a must..Grow to own your own foundations, not just rent to lease..Really, nobody is to blame. It's communication & mainly care factor that we should attend to more....If any questions, feel free to reply or ask, I'll drop by to explain more. Although, only to speak of the facts..
Frances Law: I have lived in my unit for 17 years now and have been very happy. Since Bridge took over from FACS there has been a definite rise in customer service. In particular I have to praise Jane Smith and Asset Management Services. My unit was starting to look somewhat shabby and I spoke to our manager BJ who said she would see what could be done. This was only about the beginning of September. The query then went to Jane and she and her project manager looked at it and decided to paint it. It was a pleasure to deal with them as they were both very professional and caring. I chose the colour that I wanted and the team came in last Thursday 7th October! They were absolutely wonderful! They worked quickly and were finished by 3pm. I now have a fresh looking, modern unit. Everyone who has come here has commented on how lovely it looks. Thank you to all at Bridge.
P K: I am not a celebrity nor am I rich with lots of money and material things.I do not stand to gain anything, nor do I wish to , by leaving an honest review of my experiences with Bridge Housing during the last 12 months that I have rented my first social housing property from them.I have nothing but praise and respect for Bridge for their caring, helpful, attentive support they have tirelessly given me so far. All the staff I have corresponded with have treated me without bias or discrimination just because I have little or no savings...I was not treated like a second-class citizen. Thank You Bridge Housing for your empathetic caring attitude that all the others seem to lack. You could've been cold, greedy, just business-like and dismissive... but you were'nt.Bridge offered me a clean, safe home in a good condition which I didn't expect, but for which I was very pleased with.Any repairs that needed doing were fixed pretty quickly by their excellent repair team. I am thankful and very grateful for what I have been given by Bridge. They have tried hard, and succeeded, in giving me a good home.Without them, I would be really struggling and in a bad place trying to make ends meet !Thank you Bridge Housing for your good hand of support.May you flourish and prosper long into the future.PK
Grace Carter: I was offered to look at a property in south Coogee, the lady showing the property was 15minutes late aswell as the second client looking at the property. She had no clue which building to open the keys with, it took her another 20mins to find the keys. After that was resolved she then had no clue what property number she was showing. I took upon myself to help her open the door to the property. After all that I waited 3 days to hear back from bridge housing as I was interested and applied first.I received a call from the lady, as she pronounced my name wrong calling me by the other clients name, I told her I’m not that person. She had mistakenly called me and said she’s giving the property to the other lady. The staffing needs to be re assessed as this is very unprofessional and stressful for those who are in desperate need for a property and don’t have time for unprofessional staff that don’t take there job seriously.I have a 5 month old baby, desperately in need for a property and this was a very big disappointment on behalf of bridge housings’ staff based on the level of professionalism.
Jason Waterfalls: No safe place.Update two years later:No safe place.
Michael B: It’s a socialist program. They want to know everything about your life. They stork all your income and bank transactions. No privacy at all. They rip you off bad when it comes to property repairs after the lease has ended.
Paul Jones: I would give 0 stars if it were possible. This agency has the worst property management I have ever seen. We had 6 property managers in a span of 2 years. No one writes anything down so you have to explain and re-explain anything you ever speak about. Renting through them was absolutely the most anxiety-filled experience I have ever had.
Shemmy ToYou: I would love to give 6 + stars to the lady who was my caseworker at Brookvale who came from Nepal, she was an absolute angel, and helped me in soo many ways when I initially moved into my flat.Unfortunately I have misplaced my lease and other papers from ‘The Housing Department’ so I could refer to her by name. Now it is no longer a government department, and I still need keys for the front and back gate (they were not returned by the previous tenant.Under normal circumstances , I still may have seen no need for them, however,it was suggested that I may have felt safer, with security cameras.I pondered this point for some time ,and late last year had a number of them installed. To my surprise , after reviewing footage, I found a rather large number of people entering my property, several were just from our locals (no harm done there) but there were also people who ended up in my garden sitting at times for a number of hours.I just feel a little uncomfortable, with non neighbours making themselves comfortable, without being invited. My question is this, who do we call to help in this situation? Bridge? Housing?Facs?Womens Housing Company?I apologise for putting this out in the open, but I am utterly lost.Regards
Christine Miria Mclean: Bridgehousing replaced Department of Housing on the northern beaches mid last year. Their transistion to their now new clients were obligations and identifying individual rights and needs. Individual persons living in social housing could with the support and links from Bridge Housing move forward with common values and social cohesion from living in a common location. From peoples own existing strengths to a belonging of a diverse community. Those who were feeling alone, speaking little english and finding it hard in how to communicate with others, no family, no friends and in need of interaction and a sense of belonging in demographics. Social connectiveness through Projects to enable diversity of other cultures to being shared (values, beliefs, customs). This being the progress from the people working together to improve their community.Common Values and social cohesion being Homelessness, Mental Illness, ageing and age care, diversity, stigma, D.V and DVPO, Imprisonment, Alcohol and Drug, Substance misuse, Disability, Unemployment and Families to non discrimination to privacy, dignity and good health to be included in the community and not segregated, isolated or victimised. This defining Community.
Amanda Kalousek Kalousek: Tenants that break into the front gate continuously, isn't even being taken seriously.. if they do it all the time how safe is it. And why bother having a locked gate in the first place.
Jess Morrison: Beautiful and friendly staff that are always willing to help and give assistance when you need it. Housing managers are always lovely to deal with and are always willing to help when you have an inquiry on the phone or when you attend the office. The repairs team are also really quick to get an issue raised with the contractor.Amazing customer service, highly recommend this service to those who need it.
