I called Embrace... as im vision impaired & didn't want to catch a train to Miranda for nothing. They tried to sell me another globe. I explained that I didn't need one as I'd tried a new globe & it didn't work.I was told to go in so they could test it in store. When I got there they refused to test it because they said another customer's 1 had blown up in their face! Really? Why tell me to go in? Obviously dodgy products are sold here if they blow up in your face! They would not help me, wouldn't replace my cord - which should be covered under consumer wannanty. The only thing they tried to do was sell me another globe, even though I told them that wasn't my issue...I bought a new cable elsewhere - much better. Would not buy anything from these rude time wasters again!

I have no problem with the crystals or pricing of them it is the staff that is terrible.Three months ago one of the workers accused me of stealing. I have never stolen in my life and never will so I was confused. I tried to tell her that this was a misunderstanding and clear up the situation and she told me to leave. But if I had truly stolen would she have not asked for the items I allegedly stole back (she never did)? Instead she just kicked me out of the store with no further discussion.Toady my friend wanted to buy a birthday present from New Moon. I told her how I was kicked out three months ago for no legitimate reason and she suggested I still try and go back and see if they finally realised I'm not a thief. I even adjust myself to give them better comfort by putting my jacket in my bag and closing my bag so they can't try and accuse me again. I step one foot in the store and the worker immediately screams at me to get out and proceeds to say very loudly in front of everyone in the store that I need to leave as I have "stolen" from there. I calmly respond saying, "I have never stolen in my life." and she asks if I can wait outside while my friend shops. I comply and agree without hesitancy as I don't want to cause any issues or make it a bigger deal than it has to be. I stay outside the store to the side. The worker then proceeds to call security, even though I was OUSTIDE of the store respecting her wishes.During the time that security was heading to us her other co-worker store and pushed past me while entering back into the store. Very professional of them to shove a 15 year old.Security then comes and the worker says to him "escort this girl out I have asked her to leave my store" by this point I start crying and telling this women that I have left her store, respected her wishes, never stolen and was just innocently waiting for my friend to be finished buying her stuff. She wasn't having any of it. The security noticed I was very hurt by this and I spoke to him about the situation. New Moon has cameras in their store, there is no proof of me stealing their products. But instead they enjoy making children cry, disrespect their customers who have spent hundreds of dollars for this small business including their family. Most unprofessional place ever.

Vincent Quiocho: One of my first stops when I visit Sydney. I visited both locations, and they are like night and day. Newtown is literally modern and crisp looking. I personally prefer the crowded, small and woody look of Glebe street. Like the house of a magician. They have very similar products which is a good selection of stones, shapes and sizes. For me Glebe street is a hidden gem with agatized shells and rough opals aplenty. So it's really a difference in atmosphere and area for you, the shopper.

Sure there is some emphasis on the spirituality of - plentiful - semi-precious stones, and if that is what you are seeking, you will be thrilled. However, a young budding geologist (broadening their horizons from all things dinosaurs - but there are even some fossils here too) will find an awful lot to engage them here, as will someone looking for a decorative piece of considerable lapidary skill and someone looking for beautiful, very reasonably priced jewellery.Don't expect that your first visit will be quick, or your only one.

The staff are so lovely and helpful. We picked up many amazing pieces but could have spent the whole day in this shop and could have left with so much more. The shop was not COVID-19 friendly as I had to suck in my stomach just to let other customers walk past me in the shop. The owner Mac has a genuine passion, heaps of knowledge, and happy to answer questions. He is not however technology orientated, subsequently the web-site hasn't been updated since his wife passed in 2019, however the shop is open, he believes the energies of the world will get him through, and he loves to buy new stuff so keeps it fully stocked!I fully recommend checking this place out if you're looking for crystals, he seems to have everything, and he is very reasonably priced. 10/10.

Read on if you want the story of my personal experience :DOver a year ago, Shamarah advised me to buy a crystal eagle necklace after having a short but vulnerable (and free) energy reading & heart-to-heart (literally over the shop counter only moments after meeting her for the first time).To set the mood.. I was struggling, hurting and feeling very lost in life - and one day felt a strong pull to walk down the street and explore, where I was quickly drawn to this priceless GEM of a shop (I had to do it!) and its extraordinary owner. I told her I didn't know what I needed, just that I needed.. help.I placed myself in her healing hands and surrendered to her guidance. She told me the black and white crystal eagle would help me to fly; to be free, and to soar.An odd suggestion to me as someone who had never felt a connection to the carnivorous sky hunters, but I was open to it and remained catiously skeptical (as always).Within months of wearing the Eagle sporadically, and connecting to it's spirit of freedom, I finally found the courage to leave my extremely stressful, draining and emotionally/spiritually degrading job in a cancer clinical trials unit. I had been rejected 3 times for a promotion I convinced myself I wanted/needed, lost almost all my self-esteem and felt a growing dread that I had "hit the glass ceiling" in the mission and career path I had so fervently and devotedly attached myself to.The Eagle guided me (at just the right moment in time) to apply for a much higher position at a different University in a seperate medical research field (my original field of passion - infectious diseases and viruses).
