Cockatoo Island Camping: what do users think?
Siamak Moradi: Nice place to camp but a bit expensive!
Alyssa: An island near the city! One of UNESCO world heritage sites! I must say the must visit places are the tunnel and the clifftop walk! We enjoyed it. We also hired a self guided tour for $6 p/p in their visitor centre. You can also stay overnight in tents and they have a lot of activities to offer like movie night, ghost tours, etc. See pics and vids. 😉They also have 2 restos in the island. I have posted the menu for one of them. Unfortunately, missed to take a photo of the other restaurant. We visited this island via ferry from Barangaroo wharf 1.
Anush Fernandes: Great tents and a stunning view. We were a big group so sitting around the camp fire was fun. An early morning walk to the prison is still pretty spooky as it is to walk in the shopping yard and tunnels at night. Fun for all ages.
Adam Anderson: Had a really good stay. The tents were clean, the toilets and showers were fine and the Cafe was well priced. The walk around the island was most interesting - particularly the convict buildings and the shipbuilding section.Rooms: 5/4|Service: 5/4|Location: 5/4 …More
Darren D: FYI food service closes 1hr before bar/cafe and no/limited food options on the island. Otherwise a great location in the middle of Sydney.
Khairil Razali: It is an amazing experience. We enjoyed the one night camping with family and friends. The island highly recommended for visiting. The camping site is fabulous. The historical values of the island is lovely. We will visit again.
Mills J: Good facilities, attentive service, easy booking.Nice choice to bring children
Latino Asian Couple: Came for short escape to relieve stress with husband. Such a wonderful place. We book from online booking site a spot with own tent with just $60, the spot is right behind, got share clean bathroom, shower room. Only not comfort at night for the noise coz there's a lot of seagulls, probably it's seagulls base there. Here provide complete amenities like kitchen, bbq , fire spot, free movie 2-3 movies a night, fridge, microwave. For sure no car park coz it's an island. Definitely will come again with my family next time.
Eddie Chan: I'm gonna tell you something you won't find on the website. Goods: Lovely sunrise/sunset/star views in the city, good amenities. You can pay $5 to rent basketball (they have a court)or sandbag to play games. Vending machine has instant noodle. Bads: funny smell on my pillow and bedding. Their bed is like hammock style, not comfy for old gentleman/lady, waterfront tents means you sleep next to highway. Racing boat keep passing by all night/early morning just to wait u up for sunrise.
Charlotte Thompson: Amazing tent

Lane Cove National Park: what do users think?
Peter Pham: Perfect place for bike ride and bush walk.
Haiting Lan: A great experience with the nature, so beautiful and not crowded. Love it!
Lireoec: The legendary Lane Cove National Park. Always excellent for bushwalking, trail running and other outdoor activities. It's a lovely hideaway in the middle of Macquarie and has been consistently well-managed and cared for. Come see the green jewel of Lane Cove and appreciate the waterfall and walking paths.
Jim Hooke: A beautiful National Park. Great for a family gathering at a picnic area or a bushwalk.
kevin hunt: It’s at my backyard
Aldo Gionta: Beautiful
Rylee В: The tour itself is very short in terms of walking distance; beginning just behind the Parramatta Wharf where the Rivercat comes in and ending at the Gasworks Bridge. The audio tracks are also not overly long.
GU Yiqian: They closed at 7PM take it seriously, they really lock the door.if can not get out just wait someone live inside open door for you,but u have to luck enough
Simone Vieira: Very nice and beautiful national park. It's good for hiking, running, cycling or even a simple walk. There a lot picnic places, some of them with barbecues. Highly recommended.
Christopher Lowe: My car broke down here but that's completely unrelated to the park. From what little I saw it seemed really nice. Five stars
Elton Morales: The more green the better we are as humans..love this place for some nature without travelling to the bush. Great for hikes or bike rides and mostly importantly fresh air and beautiful wildlife and fauna. Highly recommended. Pack a lunch and visit.

Turtles, turkeys, eels and many more primitive species embellish this place. Is a great spot which is always quite. Totally rec I mend this area for bush walking, but you need to plan for the day at tleast. I recommend the pemulway loop, but totally recommend you incorporate parramatta lakes also. Saeed Saund: Great place
Luis Fernando Madrid: Nice venue, with access to nature and good sport location
Joe Gonzales: Pomona St could be congested with parked cars and cars going to and from the BPSC. But I am not reviewing the street. 😀 BPSC may be old. But it is still functional. Camping around the place is nice.
Colin Christie: Needs to be used more.
James Young: Campsite is great and has many activities to do. Unfortunately when our scout group went, it was raining outside but there was a freshly refurbished scout hall to shelter in. We then did the High Ropes, Low Ropes, Rogaine Course and Leap of Faith. Unfortunately at the time we went, the Zip Line was closed for upgrades. The campsite was great and well maintained. Highly recommended!! Answer for Rogaine: aXQgaXMgcHJpemUgdGltZSBub3cK

Sydney Park: what do users think?
Ethan W: Perfect place to enjoy a lovely day off with your fluffy friend 🐕
Ricky Drabsch: Awesome park! Lots of dogs off lead if you do/don't have problems with that.
Sharon Gowan: I did a really good herb propagation course in the Sydney pavillion
S S: Amazing place as its sprawling big and nice on a day like this. The skating rink is absolutely amazing as they are catered for all ages 😁Enough parking with 4p Parking available 😀Playground: Sprawling big and they have games here often 😀Restrooms: The rest rooms are along the coffee shop area and they are quite goodDog-friendliness: Big park area and definitely lot of doggos around 😍Picnic area: Lot of shade and they have bbq's
DJ Brian: Nice place
Emma: Big open spaces with easy walking sealed track. Great for dog walkers. Wheelchair accessible to most part of park. There are scattered benches throughout. Children's play area near a skate area.Parking is available for free, can be a little tricky on weekends.Public facilities are available near the entrance / car park area.Restrooms: Near the children's play area / cafe area there are 2 toilets. There is another set of toilets near the cycle centre / skate park.I think that's it for toilets. They actually need to build some around the parklands as there are none once you go past these 2 lots of them.Dog-friendliness: Pretty good for dogs.Around the cafe it can get a bit scrappy with some dogs on leads and others not.
Paul Gray: Great place to spend time with your loved one(s), dogs and friends. Especially on sunny winter's days. Great little cafe on the village green, too!Dog-friendliness: This is a leash free park, so very dog friendly. Parents of fur babies are generally well behaved and those dogs who may not be as social are usually kept leashed. Mostly hassle free so any skirmishes are very rare.
Dani: Great!
G Wils: Small cafe has funny trade hrs. A great spot for the dogs to play and meet up with friends.
Sims Local: Wide and clean skatepark. Lots of room to skate
Em Kay: Nice day for a kids’ AFL game
Brandt Olivier: Very good for a relaxing day and great outdoor experience.Playground: Super nice
Jamie Wills: The park itself is great. There is a kiosk with cafe and seating for a break from walking. There are a lot of dogs; The park rules state that dogs must be on a leash at all times, however this isn't followed by roughly 60% of those with dogs so if your dog is anxious or nervous be aware that a dog without a leash may come up to your dog suddenly. There are water fountains for people, water bottle refill stations and water bowls with taps for dogs. There are toilets, separated by male/female near the kiosk.Playground: Several children's playgrounds including climbing equipment and sand pits.Restrooms: Restroom located by the kiosk. Gendered male and female.Dog-friendliness: Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
Alexandra S: Уютный парк среднего размера, много дорожек, водоемы с птицами, ручьи, которые можно переходить по камням, и холмы с лавочками и видом на город. Много людей выгуливает собак. Есть небольшое кафе.
Malu Torres M: Nice place for walking
Steve Bintley: This is a really lovely space in a busy area of the city and worth visiting whether you’re after a picnic spot with friends or a quiet stroll. There’s a couple of small hills which give great views over the city scape in the distance and there’s a few wildlife areas and ponds to explore. Everywhere is well kept and tidy and with it’s large size it’s a lovely asset to the area.
Ashleigh Hughes: This park is the absolute best in Sydney and caters to doggos wanting a nice walk, kiddies wanting to play, teens wanting to skate, families wanting to picnic, people wanting to exercise. There is a cafe, a dog water play area, a small bike track for young ones, skate park, community gardens and beautiful wetlands. A fantastic place for anyone.
Jay Fawf: Sydney Park is undoubtedly one of the most incredible parks I have ever been to. This park is enormous and is packed with activities, features, and facilities that cater to everyone, from kids to adults. I recently visited the park, and I was blown away by the beauty and the diversity of the space. One of the things I appreciated about Sydney Park is that it has a lot of facilities, including picnic areas, barbecues, public toilets, shaded areas, and seating areas, which made my visit comfortable and convenient. I especially loved the fact that there were numerous barbecue areas dotted throughout the park, which made it easy for me to enjoy a good barbecue with my family.Another feature of Sydney Park that stood out to me was the off-leash areas for dogs. My furry friend had a great time in the extensive off-leash areas, which included a paddling pool for dogs. This was a real treat for him, and I was happy to see him enjoying himself. The park's playground is extensive and includes diverse equipment for kids of all ages and abilities. Additionally, the children's cycling track and cycling center were a great way to keep the kids active and entertained. I also appreciated the two fitness stations featuring a range of equipment for bodyweight exercise, which I found useful for my workout routine. The skate park was one of the highlights of the park for me. It is the largest skate park in Sydney and features zones to suit every ability and style of skating, scooting, and BMX riding. It was fascinating to watch the skilled skaters perform their tricks, and I was impressed by the park's inclusivity. The sports facilities, including the Alan Davidson Oval, are another standout feature of the park. The oval caters to summer and winter sports and includes adjacent outdoor fitness training areas. There are also public art and memorials, including the SPAIDs memorial, which adds to the park's cultural significance. The village green with a cafe kiosk is an excellent place to relax and grab a bite to eat. It is also worth mentioning that the on-site parking is convenient and plentiful, with four car parks located throughout the park. Finally, the stormwater harvesting system used in the park is a great example of sustainable practices. The water is reused to top up the wetlands and irrigate the 44-hectare park and supply the neighboring depot, making Sydney Park an environmentally responsible destination. In summary, Sydney Park is a fantastic destination that is perfect for families, friends, and even solo visitors looking for a great day out. It is a well-maintained park that offers plenty of facilities and activities for everyone, including furry friends. I highly recommend it and rate it five stars.Playground: The park's playground is extensive and includes diverse equipment for kids of all ages and abilities. Additionally, the children's cycling track and cycling center were a great way to keep the kids active and entertained. I also appreciated the two fitness stations featuring a range of equipment for bodyweight exercise, which I found useful for my workout routine. The skate park was one of the highlights of the park for me. There are also public art and memorials, including the SPAIDs memorial, which adds to the park's cultural significance.Restrooms: Disabled and pet friendly bathrooms are scattered throughout the park.
Cristy Bhandary: Doggo loves this park
Yolanda Zhu: Best place for hanging around with your dogs and families. Off leash in whole park area and have a pretty good coffee shop with decent food

Garigal National Park (entrance to the walking track): what do users think?
B: Can’t wait for the koala 🐨 to return
jessejonesish: Wonderful oasis in suburbia. Lots of steps but worth it.
Charles Cavalcante: We walked from St Ives (Acron Oval) to the Cascades (looking good from the rains and the path was covered by the water twice but we got across on rocks) then went south on the Middle Harbour Creek Track. This is a wild area, with great forests and cliffs alongside the mighty Middle Harbour Creek. A lot of the path was rough or sandy and some had blockages (not all from the recent storms) and several spots had tight squeezes through rocks. Stepping Stone Crossing would have been difficult to cross without getting wet (note the goog map has it wrong, Middle Harbour Creek Track and the connecting Governor Phillip Track are entirely on the east side of the creek and the stepping stones are only necessary to get to the Bungaroo Track). Shortly after this and 2 hours after leaving St Ives, we gave up and took the steep road up to Davidson - any exit will require a steep climb to the suburbs on the hills. So worth it though - there are few areas of Sydney this wild.
John Chugh: Our own Rainforest in Sydney
dj silver: Loads of steps but great walk. Also a Pokemon go gym.
Ross H.: After crossing jungle, you will reach to a unique and small beach, great location
Suma Sheelavantar: This was very short and nice bush walk. There is small water falls on the way and a tiny bay where kids can play in sand and water. The rocks are quite slippery near the falls. Overall 30 mins of bush walk return. Good for kids and family.
May Haysom: Great place to go on a weekend with kids.
Ethan O'Leary: Awesome waterfall! There's no other way to explain it!
Hong Nguyen: This is a tough track if you're not fit. Various areas required a little bit of steep rock climbing.
Erik: It was good
B. B.: There are not many -natural- National parks in Sydney proper . This is one of them .Gosh and it's a cracker . I walked from Seaforth oval to Bluff Lookout . Adventure galore - peppered with streams and boulders , did I mentioned the views ofMiddle Harbour Creek . A day truly well spent . Do it while still there in this natural condition . I bet they already thinking of sanetising it .
Hazel Tan: Well signposted track. Photos of Bantry Bay taken from the Magazine Track.
Ol camomile: Peaceful walking track, no people around - only union with nature.

Chris hyland: 👍
Xiao Zhuo Wen: 春季有大量的海鸥在这里繁殖下一代宝宝,很有趣。小海鸥在我相机包后面庇荫处休息,不肯走,我为了不打扰它,一直没取包包,差不多一小时才肯走,海鸥妈妈只好陪着
Wesley Yeung: Perfect spot to look at the view
郑宇良: 可以玩三个小时 体验一下早期工厂的力量
Briggs Jourdan: A stunning vista point for Chatswood, North Sydney and the Sydney CBD on a perfectly cut lawn idyllic for photography and the occasional picnic. Take in the views from a formidable height and one of the best areas to take a break while exploring Cockatoo Island.
Kallol Sinha: Great place for few hour's stay. Also a good place for camping. Food and drink options are limited and only connection is through ferry or personal boats. From hilltop, you can get a nice view of city skyline. Not too many tourists in this place, so if you want to spend a quite and nice time with family, then it is an ideal place.
Micjoh Tremayne: Great views of the city skyline from the top of the hill
Danni Russell: Stunning views of the harbour and nice little pop up bar. Little exy but your paying for the view.
Rose C: 澳洲的世界文化遗产保护地之一
David Ng: Amazing views over the Parramatta River toward Sydney Harbour!
Benson Hsu: 還好啦。頗無聊
Cons Ponus: Amazing views
Hasan Fahri: Great view
Anibal Martinez: Nice And original spot in Sydney to escape from beaches And more touristy places
Rick Siffleet: We had a wonderful full day on the island as part of a honeymoon..! Very instructive audio accompaniment and well worth the 'couple of bucks' to get a full insight of what the island was, and became.Cafe was excellent and provided good tucker... and a cool beer on a scorching day..One small word of advice, is that we went in spring (October) and the gulls were nesting just below the Biloela Lawn. They are VERY territorial and WILL dive bomb you if you wander through this part of the island....All in all, a great piece of (possibly overlooked) Aussie history. Recommended.
Faz: Boring and racist coffee place
Nadine G: Great spot for a cold drink and a bite while enjoying the view of the Harbour Bridge, the water and surrounds
Luke Russell: Great place to watch the sunset over Sydney harbor without crowds and a nice drink from the cafe next door
Satya Ranjan Prusty: Wonderful
Mindaugas Tijusas: Good spot to chill
Ruben Tomas: Muy bueno
