Maya Mk: Very bad experience. I purchased an item at Macquarie center. Service was good there. But when I want to return it at QVB, townhall, staff was very rude and initially asked me to return it where I purchased. Then I questioned their return policy and they agreed to take it. But after that came up with another excuse saying that I paid with cash and they can not return it because of that. Stupid excuses
X O: Watch died. Needed new battery. Was quoted $40, to then be changed to $82, after they got the watch, as it is a rechargeable battery. I said no, return watch.I got the watch back in pieces. Fossil says so sorry. I will be looked after. Their solution? I have to waste my time taking watch back to Fossil so they fix what they didn't do in the first place. At least repair the watch for free, no? No.I was told second time at store that watch is being fixed in Singapore. That Fossil is an international company, and American brand. And they couldn't respect me to return the watch back together the first time. Disgusting.Total trash. Terrible quality, Terrible support. Search Fossil Australia. 1.7 rating. Now you know why.

Mark McKinley: Nick serviced the 1969 Omega Speedmaster moon watch, that was handed down to me by my father. Needless to say, it was very important to me that the watch was handled with the right level of knowledge, care and attention.Having not used Nick's services before, I was a little apprehensive but after having an initial meeting with Nick, it was obvious he was the right person for the job.Do not be put off by his no nonsense, direct approach, I imagine he has dealt with many a tyre kicker in the past. Shelly: Disappointing customer service at Longines service centre George St.Longines has no watch repairs in Sydney so all watches are sent to Melbourne.When taking down my details they incorrectly spelled my name, email and home address!!I was initially quoted $300 in store and then sent a final quote for $900+ without an explanation. I called up and spoke to numerous staff who couldn't tell me why price had tripled.2 stars (instead of 1 star) as John the security guard was excellent.
Scholastica T: I went in store for a Birthday present that my parents were going to gift me. I was looking forward to this experience all year. The staff were rushed, I had picked and tried on a few styles and settled on one. After which the watch was adjusted. No one told me that EVERY TIME links are removed the band and closure will scratch. When I inquired about it staff were extremely defensive and told me its wear and tear. On a watch I had for 10 seconds. I was trying to understand why this was not disclosed before purchase and more staff started to treat me like a child saying that is the nature of adjusting a watch. A hugely disappointing experience for something I was looking forward to. I recommend going to Seiko staff are thoughtful and present all information before rushing you to payment.

Went in to store today and they exchanged watch on the spot (after checking that it was indeed my birthday yesterday). New watch had much better bezel alignment. Very happy customer 😀. samara clark: Very disappointing to purchase a $2000+ watch for my mum which needs repairing. We come into the city specifically to drop it off to the store so it can be sent off for repairs, only to then have the store open at 9am, then have the sales woman ask us to leave & come back at noon (3 hour later ???) after they had finished stock taking. All we needed to do was drop the watch off but she wouldn't take it, instead saying we need to come back 3 hours later. Given I am 38 weeks pregnant, waiting around for 3 hours with nothing else to do, we decided to give up & go home. Super disappointed in the lack of customer service. We'll call head office and see if they can be of more assistance. This is my 2nd inconvenient experience with this brand/store. My advice is to avoid going here at all costs as you're wasting your time.

Heidi W: Before attending the Longines store in QVB, I admit I was somewhat apprehensive as the service reviews were varied. Whilst I only had to drop off my watch for a service and new battery I found the two different staff I dealt with to be very friendly, courteous and professional.
Myst: Purely based on service. Even if you're the only customer within the boutique, once you walk in, you won't be acknowledged, nor will anyone come forward to help you, a simple welcome/hello is non existent. The reason for this review is purely to improve the management process but the watches/company shouldn't suffer for poor services.I've read some reviews and noticed this has been a recurring experience for many people. Pity.

Matthew Alford: Walked into the Longines Boutique in Sydney with a specific watch we wanted to purchase today but after having the most horrific experience we just walked out. There were about 5 staff members in store just walking around (there were no other customers) who didn't even acknowledge us and when someone finally did they had no product knowledge or idea about where the collection we were after was located. When we were finally passed onto a male attendant who I assume was the "expert", we were spoken over the top of and offered every single style and colour of watch except the specific one we asked for. This was meant to be a 30th birthday present for myself from my partner but this whole experience just ended up ruining everything for me.
C C: Went to QVB store today and experienced a poor customer service by a Chinese staff. We wanted to purchase 2 watches for myself and my husband. We did understand due to Covid 19 , however we kept the 1.5m distance . The company needs to train their staff properly to advice the customer in the better way not just telling the customer like this " our store policy , you need to wear mask to enter the store" I wanted to ask the staff name but she just ignored us and walked away. She did not even apologize. This is RIDICULOUS. Excuse me , there was noone wearing mask in QVB . The other stores in QVB or Westfield Sydney did not ask us to do so. We are happy to put mask on or even come back next time .But because of this attitude, we decided never shop at Longines anymore or spend 1 cent.

Item arrived safely with Shriro Australia (Casio Official Service centre) Aussie warranty card inside. Genuine Casio. Thank you very much.I would like to add, the 3229 module has a recessed adjust (A) button. But with practice I find it still easy to use. It requires very little travel, therefore once you understand how it works I can trigger it quite easily. I just cut my nails and I can still press it.Also for those who didn't know (I didn't) the 3229 module's CT (Countdown Timer) has an Auto-repeat option. When in CT adjust mode, simply press (D) to turn Auto-repeat on and off. Now when you start the CT the countdown will restart itself over and over infinitely!

John Cho: Bought a brand new two tone seamaster professional 300m two tone and not long after realised that the bezel had a very loose and flimsy feel to it. Took it back Omega, only to be served by lousy customer service attendant who tried his best to convince me that they were all like that and that it was a normal thing with these watches. I took another similar watch out from the display cabinet and spun it as a test run and realised it had a more tight and more robust feel to it. It was at that point that the female manager insisted that it be sent to the service centre to be looked at, noticing that i wasn't pleased with the response I received. The male customer service attendant then started mentioning the possible reasons as to why it may be the way it is, clearly meaning that he knew it had a problem. All in all it got fixed, but please don't take the customer as a fool.

They don't quote realistic service times (I was quoted 3 weeks, but have now been told that it is 6 weeks for a partial service and 7 MONTHS for a full service).

After it not being delivered when it was meant to be delivered (stayed home all day to ensure I was home to collect it!) then to find out it was never going to be delivered that day and needed to be delivered on the Monday morning ! However due to no one being home it was being re directed to a family member. It came to 4pm of the day it was out for delivery only for us to chase them to find out where it was.. to my absolute shock I found out my watch was delivered to my home address earlier in the day and was SITTING IN A BOX AT MY FRONT DOOR!!!!!! Keeping in mind I live in a high traffic area with lots of construction happening and robbery as of late! Absolutely disgusted with this service! Have not had any compensation from this! Not only is it an expensive watch it’s a family heirloom which was just sitting out the front of my house!!!!!!!! Poor communication from them since, multiple phone calls and messages left with ZERO returning of the calls !I’m lucky that my neighbour took my watch in however for a high end boutique store you would expect a much higher service and delivery!
Jonathan: I am a frequent visitor and customer of this OMEGA boutique. However, i had the displeasure of being "helped" by William today (24/02/2023). The young lad was rude and unprofessional to my 68 year old dad, who was accompanying me and knows very little about watches. It is disappointing to see that some omega employees would deride those that dont know all the ins and outs of a very small segment of the luxury goods industry. I have had excellent interactions with others, such as Kyle, who helped me purchase my latest piece in December of last year. I was prepared to purchase a 3861 today, but not anymore. If OMEGA stands by this kind of pretentious attitude from it's salespeople, I am not an omega boutique customer.

Initial ETA was end of August 2022, which was then revised (as of 2nd September) to 3-4 weeks from that dateCalled up on Saturday 24th September and was informed the watch was close to being finished, and I would receive an update within 1-2 days.As of today 27th September, I did not receive any update, and had to call up repeatedly (of which it took me several tries to get through to Customer service) and eventually got hold of the customer rep, Yuri who has provided very very poor serviceShe initially mistakenly said the watch would still require refurbishing / polishing, and it wasn't until I asked her to look into it did she retract that statement (noting that this watch being serviced is under warranty, and hence polishing is not included)She has informed me she will contact the Omega Service Centre to get a clearer ETA and revert to me by EOD 27.9.22, noting the various conflicting messages from the multiple reps I have spoken toAs of 4pm 27.9.22, I have still not received a call back and/or email from her to provide an update on timing and overall status of the serviceIn summation, Omega Martin Place reps (in particular Yuri) have shown poor understanding of the service process, have failed to provide timely updates (I have had to chase them up multiple times), and have difficulty getting through to (even on weekday mornings where you might expect customer enquiry volume to be lower)P.S. You'll note in the multiple negative reviews left below, Omega MP provides a completely robotic cut and paste response, which is reflective of their lack of genuine care towards customer enquiriesRest assured, I won't be purchasing from Omega Martin Place again. What a disappointment given the luxury status of the product. Save your money - lots of alternative brands with far better customer service to consider.

Adam Piffarelli: In 2016 I left this review - Incredible service and beautiful watches.In July 2022 I went back to the Omega boutique so my dad could get a watch and for me to get a NATO strap for mine. The service we received was absolutely amazing and made the whole experience very special. We tried on a number of watches and the staff were more than happy to answer all our questions. I am a bit biased with the Omega brand but I have to say, if you want a watch that is of incredible quality and it is available right now (unlike another Swiss brand) then you can't go past Omega.

Fun Mason Family: I have purchased an all gold Rolex day date from the Sydney boutique and i have to say, i had an amazing purchase experience. The sales people are friendly even if my kids were all around the store. Honestly, being good to my kids is very important to me. Anyway, the watch was advertised as no box and just the watch and i still went through the purchase.The owner then surprised us and said he found the exact box of the model for me and the booklets. He didn’t have to do it as i already paid a deposit, it was such a pleasant surprise and experience. I highly recommend their store. The sales people and owner also took their time to explain the watch functions and do’s and donts which i had no idea until that day. I have a few watches but didn’t know a lot of things and because of our good chat i have sure learned a lot. Thank you for the good experience and would sure recommend to my friends.

Matt's Lifestyle: One of the worst customer service I have received. Walked in for few minutes, no greeting at all despite I initiated. Felt judged by my casual attire. Ask for a vintage patek, attitude was extremely arrogant, lecture and try to embarrass me instead of educating. Watch was in poor quality and priced extremely expensive. Bad business and make sure you stay away, just a small advice coming from a Amax Centurion owner.

Makes me wonder, if he couldn't tell that my watch was genuine how many of the stores inventory is not genuine!Would not even trust this store with a Seiko 5.

I was greeted by a sales assistant who told me the"buyer" was on lunch and to come back.Once i arrived back i was hesitantly greeted by the "buyer" sales assistant who refused to look at my piece in store. He told me as we are simply just a shop all enquiries are taken through picture reference via email.Seeing as the site says "sell your watch" i assumed i could bring the piece in store and have it assessed by a professional, being that the piece is from 2005 it would make more sense to examine it in person rather then a picture i send via email.I came in store today because i had previously emailed the store in association with selling the piece and received an email back station “they would not purchase the watch as it needed restoration”, however, the watch was in great condition an only had scratches from slight wear and tear.Very unprofessional, poor experience and honestly wouldn't recommend coming back here...in hindsight, took my piece around the corner received amazing customer service and sold my watch at excellent value.Shop wisely

D: Unreliable when it comes to correctly dating their vintage stock. Even when I previously provided them with a brand-specific 1944 - 1978 original vintage ledger as a favour (detailing all serial numbers ~ manufacture year during that period) for their reference guide to improve description accuracy. Prices a little inflated (as is expected these days with most businesses) but certainly beware if you’re after a specific vintage “birth year” watch. Do your own research and don’t rely on the accuracy of their synopsis. Surprisingly, a good range of vintage watches occasionally considering based in Australia and rarity of some vintages, but they really need to address accuracy of the descriptions, or at least admit they are estimating the manufacturing date. Especially for models cir. early 1950’s to early ‘70’s. Happy to cautiously recommended however. Sadly I agree with other recent “not great” reviews of the Sydney store. Seemingly hasn’t improved from 2 disappointing experiences 5 & 2 years ago. The more recent was calling out an argumentative salesman who ultimately showed he had minimal knowledge of the brand he was selling despite him initially suggesting he was an “expert”. Authenticity not an issue with models I’ve seen on display. Recommended, but conduct your own research.

When I said I was looking to upgrade from a Rolex Sub he said fobbed me off and recoiled away when I said I had purchased from one of his competitors, firstly getting the shop owners name wrong and secondly saying watches from there get welded together from scrap.I’d just made a purchase of $400 for a box and he was so quick to get me out of the store that i called him out in it. His response was baffling. He said “Well I’m trying to do two deals out the back and my other worker has gone awol”. Not my problem! I’m looking to spend 20k on a watch, have purchase history from there, including on the day - this place is just bitter that there are now better preowned watch places out there eating their lunch.Stay away. Don’t support a group who are so rude to customers and malicious in attacking others in the trade.
