The evening looked beautiful with impressive city skyline on one side and the opera house on the other, beautifully lighted up with changing images projected on its roof surface. The bridge on the opposite was also visible with lights of changing colours. Could not see the drone show which was at 9 pm, as it was getting late. Wish they keep a show in the early evening too!

Home The Venue: what do users think?
Julian Doyle: Security guards are bored and have nothing better to do than make mountains out of molehills. Have never seen them intercept dangerous behaviour I seem to only see them intimidate patrons and watch over us like chaperones at a year 6 disco.Guards are meant to keep us safe not ruin our experiences that we pay good money for.
LongVodka: To be fair, I’ve only been here…more than a handful for times but never had a bad issue/time….I only rated four out of five (4/5) stars as it’s been far too crowded but as I’m lead to believe that’s the promotors prouder issuing far too many tickets for the venue to hold. However, I’ve always found the place to be clean (yes, even the bathrooms), security have been pleasant and mindful whilst doing their job in keeping all patrons safe. Drink prices WILL be a tad be more expensive BUT the venue IS located in darling harbour AND is a main source of revenue (especially when there’s an event) so what’s the big deal?! Don’t like the prices? Then don’t order the drinks…it’s the EXACT same in ANY venue (ie - cinema). The staff…never had an issue, in fact so helpful when pointing out the location of the bar, coatroom, toilets BUT they went above and beyond when I lost my ID at the Boulet Brothers event. I emailed and messaged the venue, both responded in a timely manner and on the same day.I was happily reunited with said missing property when I stopped by the venue. Both security and bar staff were friendly and attentive whilst listening and one staff member even checked the area that described AND the lost property box/area/hand in which either a patron or staff member found and handed in my ID.I was probably waiting at the bar, five minutes (maybe even less) to which I was in no rush and certainly didn’t not expect my ID to have been found or even handed in.Keep up the great work folks and I am humbly grateful that a staff member took the time, in order to assist me.
leslie Mark: Fun place to be
Jessica Feyder: Music was awesome but top level room filled with the thickest smoke. If you had asthma you would die within 2 hours.
monique: very good atmosphere my favourite club by far!! can never get sick of it
Corie-Joy Ewins: No where else to be on a Saturday night! The staff, the atmosphere, the music, everything is 10/10Only place I recommend to anyone !
Jess Hayes: Always fun and a great place to dance. Love how the music is 2000s and 2010s with some current hits. Love going here when I go clubbing in the city
Shiney Peez: Banging music, lights and dancers! There til close and lived every minute!
Jeremy Boualorn: i love it is sooo good bring all my friends here and THE DRINKS ARE CHEAP!!!
Jakeb Rayner: Best club to go to in Sydney!!!!!!!
Katie Richmond: Worst experience ever. The Legends drag night was massively oversold. People were actually fainting. Massive health and safety issue. And the toilets were soooooo grossly unsanitary
Ernie Shepherd: Is an ok venue . Definitely needs some maintenance inside. The balcony for the shows is poorly designed.
Louise Johnson: Paid over $100 to see live music at this venue and couldn't see a thing. They oversell tickets to make the most money possible and don't care that fire exits are blocked which puts everyone in danger. The top section was crammed with ppl which meant you could barely walk and coulnt see the stage. Half the audiance had no view of the stage at all and left. Not worth attending any events here.
john Johnson: Paid $200 for VIP ticket to Legendary Legends drag show and could not see anything, very disappointing. Not even any video screen to view from VIP area. Home is not a venue to host VIP viewing parties! I want a REFUND along with 500 other dissatisfied customers.
Kristi Knight: The venue was so overcrowded. I've never been packed in so tight at a venue. I paid extra for a balcony view but unless you were front row on the balcony, you couldn't see anything. You couldn't get to the bar at all.I was very disappointed.
Daniel Jebulan: Rude security guard telling me on the Weeknd night that I was in the wrong queue when lining up to enter. There were people in front of me but he accused me of pushing in. He stated that I was actually in the exit queue but there was no signage so how was I supposed to know.Additionally, the whole pathway to enter was packed full of people so if that was indeed an exit queue, that would be a massive WHS concern because if there was an emergency no one would have been able to leave in such a tight space. Please train your security guards as well as put up clear signage in queues in order to prevent confusion as well ensure the safety of your patrons. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
Jacquelyn Harrington: Paid 20 dollars per ticket for an event in the rooftop Cockle Bay Wharf entrance which took an hour to even get into due to overzealous security procedures. Security guard made up false stories and said we pushed in the line when there were clearly two lines separated by a queue rope and people were in the line in front and behind us. They then proceeded to go through my phone without permission and check for vaccination status and my debit card because apparently one form of ID is not sufficient? Absolutely ruined my night with the vulgar language and left after 20 minutes. Will not be returning!
Christine Yeh: Good venue for a live show event
Lilly: It's like you are listening to 96.9 or 104.1. Its white radio music repeated and remixed. If you are into that it's cool but if you aren't then I do not recommend.
Zurika Bleeker: Really exciting venue, great music, and impressive performances, it's a vibe. I liked that there were two dj setups with different styles.
Reya Alex: Not enough space inside the venue, party was very congested , will not recommend this for party

Sir Stamford at Circular Quay: what do users think?
Teresa Lam: We came to the Highlands Bar for high tea. My friend suggested we come here as it feels like we are in the UK The atmosphere is exactly that, very relaxing. cathy su: Loved the high tea! Good balance of both sweet and savoury items. The Indian spiced one was my favourite. Scones look unassuming but were actually one of the best I've had from high teas. Would be better if they were warmer
Trudi J: Stayed here for the weekend 2nights, for Vivid. This hotel is an old charmer with all that goes with it. The service was excellent and the room was very clean and all that we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is so close to Circular quay, the Sydney Opera House, trams, and a short walk to the Rocks. The price we paid for the room was also very reasonable. We will definitely stay here again when in Sydney.Rooms: Very clean and roomy, that old world charm of Sydney
South Young: ✨ AUTUMN HIGH TEA “Sweet + Savory + Tea”, .. such lovely and discreet corner by the sun 🌞
Aline Campos: POSITIVEThe location is absolutely excellent, just a few minutes walk from the Harbour. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, polite and professional. I was always greeted with a smile, "Good morning/afternoon", "how are you today", etc. The concierge was quick and proactive in taking our luggage to our room and storing them after check-out. The receptionists were quick and effective, answering all our questions. I was offered an upgrade upon arrival and the receptionist was always clear regarding the benefits and costs. I later had some questions and the magnificent Ricardo helped us promptly. The breakfast room was always clean and organised. The food was warm and pleasant. My room view was outstanding and the room was cleaned daily.NEGATIVESome maintenance is required in the rooms since the hotel is decades old. Curtains need some washing as it was easy to spot stains on them. The air vent needs some deep cleaning, and the bathtub has some stains as if a plastic mat was placed on them for a long time. These are all cosmetic details, but when added up, they negatively impacted how I felt about the room. Also, the bed was not comfortable. The pillows are low, I requested extra pillows (which were quickly delivered) but there were only standard-sized pillows available (no choice of short/medium/tall), so I had to stack two of them to "build" a tall pillow. Breakfast was always on time, and the food was hot and well-displayed. The coffee itself was horrible. Every day for 5 days, I had to leave the hotel and buy any coffee available because I could not drink the one from the Breakfast. The staff cleaned and organised the dining room beautifully. However, the breakfast is pretty standard for international hotels, which I believe is a missed opportunity for such a majestic and culturally rich hotel like Sir Stamford. Featuring the heritage of the British colonial era, the hotel could offer British items such as English Muffins, scones with whipped cream and jam, biscuits, and cake. The breakfast offered a variety of fruits, but I would have loved to see some bananas and berries to go with the yogurt and cereal. Finally, having worked in the hospitality industry for years, I know scrambled eggs are easier to cook in bulk, but after spending 5 days at Sir Stamford, I could not wait to go back home and eat real fried eggs for a change. Perhaps the hotel could offer "eggs your way" by demand during breakfast (or pre-order). All in all, these are small details, but I hope my feedback can help the hotel grow and leave its guests feeling even better than they do right now.Rooms: Upon arrival I was offered an upgrade to an executive room with Harbour and Opera House view which was totally worth it. The room was twice as big, had an entire extra living room with sofa, office, and TV. This allowed me to organise my stuff better instead of cluttering the bedroom.Walkability: Easy access and just a few minutes away from the harbour. However please note that it is in higher ground than the harbour, so you will have to climb 1-floor height in ramp or stairs. If you have mobility issues you will have to use longer paths to reach the harbour.Noteworthy details: Breakfast is separated in 3 seating from 7am to 10am. If you prefer a quiet environment arrive early. It also guarantees you the best table and freshest food.

Nicholas James: Great place to view Shen Yun. Service was quick considering the amount of people attending. Parking is a breeze as it's at The Star. Staff are helpful in finding your seat. Would recommend this place for any particular events that interests you.

Jordan Km: My partner and I visited O-bar yesterday evening for a belated birthday dinner for him. I was extremely excited to go here and my family kindly helped us pay to have some snacks and drinks here as a present for him. Straight out of the elevator the first thing we were met with was quite a strong smell of sewage. At first I thought maybe we were right next to the bathrooms but we weren’t, and even then it was really unpleasant and not how I expected my first impression to be. Then for the bar snacks we ordered sweet potato fries (which were lovely) and the feta and chilli hummus dips (each dip was $14 which I thought was very expensive). When I ordered I asked what the feta and hummus came with and the waitress said bread which I was pleased with. When the food arrived however we received a single half a piece of sourdough each and that was it. I was really surprised about this as I assumed surely each dip would have at least come with half a piece of bread on their own let alone me having ordered two, if that was the way they chose to serve the food. There were two of us, two dips and half a piece of bread each. I wasn’t sure if we were just supposed to eat the rest with a spoon and honestly for the price both were really average. Later on when we both had our drinks I decided to ask if there was anything else small on the menu we could order as I was still hungry and the waitress said there was in fact extra bread for $3. I was more than happy to order and pay for that (which I did) however I wish that this would have at least been offered alongside the dips, or better they just give you more accompaniments in the first place. During our experience there the smell of sewage didn’t really go away either and none of the wait staff addressed it. Finally when I went to pay I was asked if I would like to add a tip and I said no. I then noticed on my receipt that an almost $11 gratuity tip had been added? I wasn’t sure if this was just standard and the tip was meant to be extra or if this was the tip and the lady didn’t press no on the machine but I was really unhappy about it. Normally I would have just left it. But this was meant to be a one off amazing experience and it wasn’t. The place smelled terrible, and we spent nearly $42 on bar snacks and received half a piece of bread and that was it, on top of spending $142 overall including the drinks. I do want to be transparent and say the staff were lovely and refunded me the gratuity amount which I did feel really awful about. They were all pleasant no issues there. It was more the lack of value for money, the poor smelling environment, overpriced and very average tasting food.

Noreen Mae Orquinaza: The service was impeccable. They have really good serving portions and the food are flavourful. Sigrid Buela: The waiter on our side was unprofessional in answering our questions. One instance was when my husband asked him about what to order for a 3-course meal, it was our first time dining at your restaurant so we are not familiar and just making sure, that waiter responded in a rude tone with "I already told you this" before answering him. He was also sarcastic and seemed annoyed. This made our mood a bit sour as I saw a difference on how he assisted us and with the other dining customers. However, I still gave him the benefit of the doubt.Second, I saw that the customers across our table, who were celebrating a birthday as well, were given a birthday card/voucher/gift, I'm not sure what it was but the women thanked the waiter for the gift and a "Happy Birthday" was written on the card. I am not sure why my husband wasn't treated the same as I have mentioned in my booking that we are also celebrating his birthday.

Jules Niko: A beautiful environment with the perfect view. Unfortunately for the price we paid, we’ve had way better degustation food. The beef was very rubbery, the chicken pretty standard. The oysters were sooo tasty and so was the dessert. We weren’t really impressed when they secretly add the gratituities to the final bill which I believe to be rude as it’s up to me whether the service was deserving of a tip or not. Overall, a nice evening but I rather go to other restaurants that give the degustation experience as well such as Aria,Rockpool and Altitude.
Paul Diss: We had reservations for dinner and were seated by the window. The view and atmosphere were both incredible! The service and food tasting menu were also both outstanding and would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice evening out!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Graham: My son and I visited last year for a special ocation, the food was excellent, i dont mind tipping if the service is excellen to be levied with a tip after: 1st knocking a wine glass over, 2nd knocking our bottle of wine over..have not visited since.
Daroy Cortwright: I recently went on a date at O Bar and Dining, this awesome contemporary restaurant and cocktail bar situated on the 47th floor of the Australia Square Tower in Sydney CBD. Let me tell you, the view from up there was absolutely mind-blowing! We snagged a table right by the window, and the panoramic 360-degree views of the city skyline and the sparkling Harbour during Vivid were simply breathtaking. And guess what? They even had this cool light display cocktail and share plate that perfectly matched the vibe. Now, onto the food. We decided to go all out and indulge in the five-course set menu, along with an extra course. I gotta say, those dishes were like pieces of art! Seriously, check out the photos I've attached. The attention to detail in every meal was incredible, from the presentation to the explosion of flavors. It was a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. When it came to drinks, we had a mix of both drinkers and non-drinkers in our group. Luckily, O Bar and Dining had a great selection of cocktails and mocktails to please everyone. Although, I should mention that the mocktails tended to be on the sweeter side. But hey, if you have a sweet tooth, you'll absolutely love them! The atmosphere at O Bar and Dining was vibrant and lively. The music was just right—not too loud, not too soft. We could enjoy our conversations without straining our vocal cords. However, if someone has difficulty hearing, they might find it a bit challenging due to the ambient noise. The service we received was top-notch. From the hostess to the wait and bar staff, everyone was on their A-game. We showed up a bit early for our reservation, but they quickly seated us without any hassle. The staff explained the whole five-course dining experience to us, and we even splurged on some caviar with one of the courses. The wait staff seemed genuinely excited to engage with us, although at times, we had multiple people describing the same dish, which was a bit amusing. One minor thing to note: one of the waiters hastily stacked all the plates on his arm, which seemed a bit out of place in such a fancy dining spot. Now, let's talk about the price. Look, it's not the cheapest place in town, but trust me, it's worth every penny if you're after a memorable experience. This is the kind of night you won't forget. The jaw-dropping views, the meticulously crafted food, the attentive service, and the vibrant atmosphere—they all come together to create an unforgettable dining adventure. I wouldn't hesitate to go back for another round of fantastic moments.Parking: This is in the CBD of Sydney, you're better off driving and catching a train or tram.Wheelchair accessibility: This venue is wheelchair accessible.
lumsing: The views were stunning, the food was delicious and the service was great! The views made more stunning with Sydney lighting up during vivid. They even had light up cocktails during vivid. I could have easily stayed up there a few more hours! Nice vibe, tables were spaced apart well enough that you can actually hear your friends talking and not everything else around you. Fab experience!

Inspired4me2You: VIVID UPDATECombine excellent food service and surrounding with the magic of vivid festival. A lovely way to view the lights of vivid.Perfect food, views and serviceHighly recommend this restaurant the overall experience was exceptional. We booked the silver experience for four of us which included guaranteed window seat (a must have), a glass of champagne and 3 course meal - a choice of entree, main and desert all were fantastic. Food beautifully presented on lovely and unusual plates. We also got some oysters as an extra. The wine list extensive, wine poured from a decanter into nice glassware. It’s the little extra touched that make this a must place to go with your family, on a date (they have proposal packages) or with a few friends. Also have some single seats at a bar that looks over the city. It was a birthday and they brought out a small cake with a candle, a small birthday card and handmade chocolates. All unprompted just had birthday in the booking! The restaurant slowly spins so the view is ever changing.Walkable from train station and restrooms excellent.Love your local guide - M❤️Like me or follow for more recommendation

Iconic Luna park is Sydney's oldest amusement park.
luis enrique stevenson velez: Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sureMore
Camilo el fotografo: I enjoyed a lot this park, it’s very funny
Coach Ali: Their annual pass is well worth it. The problem is that minimum 3 rides are down due to faults each time we go. Considering there's only around 9 or 10 rides in total, maintenance seems to be an issue.
maulana wibowo: Awesome park for whole family 👍Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure …More
Gunjan Sharma: Fun experience for all fun ride lovers, a must for viewing Sydney's skylines in beautiful rides, rotar and roller coaster will make you nostalgic about childhood rides.
Allan Lalic: Fun place. Great for all ages
rochelle Hart: Visited on Public holiday Wait time 10–30 min Reservation recommended NoMore
aaron hart: Way too expensive and crowded. If you want to wait around for an hour or two per ride... come here
Alexander Prokopovich: Rude staff, boring rides. Ruined weekend
noor chehade: Do not recommend going on the weekend or for a special event because the wait times for the rides are just too long. I have been twice, once in the school holidays on a weekday middle of the day where wait times were only 10min vs Saturday night where wait times where 20min to 1hr. For adults there's only about 6-8 rides to go on not worth going for 4hrs just to go on 6-8 rides
Tomasina Boone: Called about hosting an event. Professional, great insights and kind
JY Cho: Too long queue. They will rip you off if you have odd number of family members. I brought 2 kids and they said 2 ppl must use it together and they didn't allow for me to ride alone. I couldn't leave one kid behind. Funny rulesVisited on Weekend Wait time 1 hr+ Reservation recommended No …More
Katrina Minett: Great day. Wait times were pretty good for the earlier part of the day. A little longer after 3 pm.The view from Luna Park of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House is amazing, especially at dusk.

Lil S: Came here during Vivid on a weekday. There was a band & they're quite good.It was so busy, you can't book but we're lucky to get a table. The service is really slow but it was packed so I don't blame them. The prices for drinks and food are to be expected on the pricey side but you can't beat the location and atmosphere.Pizza was very salty, sweet potato fries was the best thing we had & we had seconds. Salt & pepper squid was bland.

Big Bopper: It's a long and busy bar, but when it takes 24 minutes to get a beer and a cocktail delivered they should come with an apology. They arrived a few minutes before the pizza ordered at the same time. A bit crazy.Great location, views, and the prices are very reasonable.
Glenn Shields-Biddle: Great casual outdoor experience for eating and drinks that has one of THE best views in Sydney.Recommended dishes Sydney Rock Oysters, Fish & Chips …More

Inspired4me2You: Local TreasureMartin Place SydneyVisitors start planning your trip to Sydney for December and visit Martin Place.Lovely tree, lights and decorations. Locals love this venue. Walk from Wynyard train station George street exit. Combine this with seeing the David Jones Christmas windows (see pic). Grab dinner at one of the many restaurants two of our favourite are restaurant Felix ( bigger groups) and Bistro Papillon ( couples and solo’s). Pubs and bars a plenty around here too.Martin Place is multi layered with steps up to various levels and leads to Macquarie street. Easy access to tree at street level for prams and wheel chairs ect.No toilets ( hence the 4 stars).Other times of year worth a visit too.Lovely old post office here too.Love your local guide -M❤️Please like or follow me if helpful
Vinay Dara: Busy and beautiful street in Sydney, all these roads will be damn busy on holidays. Those who likes to walk on most happening streets will surely love this place.
